Gvec goes above and beyond again. I am speechless to the service this company add has provided me in the last 4 years I have been using them since I moved to La Vernia. Customer service is their number 1 priority and it shines thru. I had my 23 year air conditioner finally die and called Gvec because of all the great service I had already had from them. I got a call back and scheduling of assessments immediately and had Larry at the front door the next afternoon. We needed a full replacement of the fan and air handler and Larry walked me thru the choices and we had some laughs along the way. That was done on Wednesday afternoon at 4pm and installation was scheduled for 8am Friday morning. Gvec assigned me Joe Gonzales to arrive at 8am and that he did, at 7:43am. Joe spent all day with his journeyman sweating his butt off ensuring that I would have air conditioning. I had purchased a 2 phase unit and wiring was not sufficient, damned that, Joe ran new wiring in and almost impossible house to run wiring, I know because I have that experience doing the same stuff in the Navy for 10 years. The air handler in the attic was put in before the roof so it had to come out in pieces, which meant the new bigger unit had to go in in pieces as well. Didn’t matter to Joe, he got it done. Joe was at my house from 7:45am until he finished at 7:17pm, he wasn’t leaving the job unfinished. Cudos to Joe and his journeyman, you guys were the best and thank you Gvec for the great quality service I have had from you for 4 years now from power/internet, and now AC service, your company is the standard at which other companies should be run.

Abraham has serviced our heating/air-conditioning unit several times, sometimes in the dark. He is friendly, dependable and explains what he is doing.
Finally decided to increase the level of insulation in our attic. GVEC has added this option to their many home service provisions. Easy scheduling for appointment. Eric and Cameron were on time and ready to get the job done. Professional and courteous and explained what and how was going to be done. Great job and clean up afterwards. Would recommend this service to anyone looking to beef up their insulation. Cudos to GVEC for hiring veterans.

Bradin is always the best! He is so professional and thorough. Yesterday GVEC electric had a power outage. Fifty % of Wilson county was without power for a couple hours. The surge of the outage damaged our unit. I had to pay 180.00 after hours charge in hopes Gvec Electric could get our unit back on line. The inverter was damaged from the power outage. The part was ordered...but we will not know until day it is in stock and when it will be here. Thankfully we store our RV on property and it has AC. Saying a prayer the part comes in quickly, as it is dangerously hot right now! should I send my after hour trip fee to GVEC Electric???? Grateful our unit is still under warranty for parts and labor! For now pretend camping on my property with my dogs and thankful I have AC.
Joe Gonzalez was assigned to trouble shoot our ac. He did a wonderful job and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied.
GVEC is always great in caring for my central air units. Blake has been to my home several times, both for maintenance and repair issues. He serviced my unit today. He is very professional and works quickly and efficiently. He discussed a couple of concerns I brought up and took the time to explain how a heat pump operates. I highly recommend GVEC.

We bought an A/C system from GVEC at a very reasonable price for a well known brand. (almost $3000.00 cheaper than what Jon Wayne Co. quoted for an off brand) They had to order the equipment and had it at their shop the next day. The day after that Lindsey, Cory and Ruben showed up and installed the unit.These three were the most professional installers I have ever seen (I had two units prior over the last 35 years) and they went out of their way to fix problems left by the previous installers and to make us happy with the install.I definitely recommend GVEC A/C for any ones A/C needs and especially recommend Lindsey, Cory and Ruben.

I called earlier that morning to let them know I had an elderly person at my home. She is immune compromised in kidney failure. If they could please ask the person to wear a mask? He got here had no mask. I was thrown off, to remind him of the request. Also he was very quick to throw former employee who installed new unit. Told me he was fired! We thought the installer had done a wonderful job. Speaking in a negative manner of ex employee is inappropriate. Furthermore- asked why I didn’t have a service since install. I had an appointment and waited past the appointment time. No one called until after appointment to me. Said they were running late. This is not good service. We will not be recommending Gvec to anyone.

Okay, not gonna hold back! The technician was awesome! But the GVEC management and customer service is lacking! Our window scheduled by GVEC was 12-2:00 p.m. At 2:12 I called GVEC and was told we were next and that the technician “should” have contacted us to let us know he was behind…at 3:45 I contacted GVEC again and was told there was another job before ours!! Needless to say I was not a happy customer. I knew this meant we would not get seen anytime soon or if at all (like last time). The tech finally arrived at around 6:00p.m. 2.5 hours later he told us he could not repair our issue and parts needed to be ordered! We have hired GVEC over the last 10 or so years for not only A/C but other electrical needs. It’s now at the point that I question their abilities to offer acceptable customer service. This is not the tech’s fault, this is GVEC’s fault and management is to blame! Oh, and btw, our unit will be down most likely for another week and this unit is still under warranty!

My review of the last two services calls.On June 14, 2023,We was charged $205.00 dollars for trip call and to flush my A/C drain line. The technician informed me that the primary thermostat had gone out and he would have to order a replacement. About a week or two had gone by, and my system still wasnt cooling from the last service call. I set up another service call, but I had to reschedule because my husband was being released from the hospital.GVEC was excellent by rescheduling the following day, but I followed up with them to verify they would be installing the replacement thermostat. Told that a thermostat hadnt been ordered and no record to install one. So, I canceled to avoid being charged a trip fee again.The A/C stopped working all together. Its the weekend, and we requested a service call for after hours. An after-hours trip fee is $180.00. The technician did bring a replacement thermostat, but he learned that wasnt the problem. It was a circuit board in the attic that was bad, not the thermostat.Guess what? That part will have to be ordered. No air at all, and I asked for the tech for a window unit because the temperature was in the three digits. He informed me there were no window units available. I asked him to call a supervisor to get authorization to purchase the window units. GVEC did bring two window units. But it confined us to one room and had to pay $180.00 dollars for a service that was not rendered.As of July 3rd, our central air conditioning is still down, and it is only two years old with a ten-year warranty.My husband is disabled, we are on a fixed income and must keep paying GVEC hoping that they will show some mercy and contact us with an update on when they will fix or remove this non-working junk.Let me add that no one from GVEC has offered an apology or even contacted us. I honestly dont think anyone would let their loved ones suffer this way. We are paying for window units that we must run 24/7 and thats probably going to be very costly on our next utility bill.Consumers, please beware of GVEC, it only cares about the bottom line$$$$$ and a disregard for repeat business.
Blake Mutz was amazing and very professional. We are glad to have his service and we want GVEC to know that Blake Mutz represented GVEC at the highest level. Great approach, great manners, very knowledgeable. He answered all questions and really knew what was going on with our HVAC system. Blake had great manners and was very relatable and unobtrusive. He even made sure his shoes we clean before entering our home. He was able to quickly troubleshoot the issue and addressed the issues based on the weakest / least expensive components failing first model that all technicians should use. This guy is definitely on the rise. Thank you for sending him out—he made GVEC look professional and competent. GVEC should invest resources in retaining this type of employee. Well make sure these comment make it to the google survey as well.
The AC purchased and installed by GVEC 3 years ago has required 5 service visits to replace parts for leaking Freon on the inside unit. Then we were told that the wrong size unit was installed. Was told seven months ago that a manager would be in contact. Nothing. The service techs have always been outstanding and try their best.
The technician was very professional, and explained the repairs needed to where I could understand them.

The installation process was a disaster. Took several trips for them to get it right, including trying to convince them it needed to be level to avoid future problems. Well it never got leveled properly and now we are having issues. Heat didnt work...another service call. Gaskets came lose and got stuck in the fan....another service call. Waiting on parts to be ordered so we can schedule yet another service call and missed day of work. I called way less for my previous unit which was about 20 years old. Ive had this one for less than a year. I will say the technicians and customer service reps are amazing. Would have given zero stars if it hadnt been for them. Im trusting they will get this unit running right. When running properly, I have noticed a lower utility bill.

AC was not cooling. Brandin Pitman was the tech. He did great job telling what he was checking. He found original problem quickly and while conducting follow testing he found a wiring problem which may have been causing AC to work less efficiently.
