Chris, Brad and staff at O2Kool do a great job! Chris is super knowledgeable about the Trane Systems and is highly trained with installation and service. They installed a large 4Ton system for us and split it into several zones to make it accomplish what we needed for the rooms in our home with a single unit. Its already the highest SEER rating unit and performing well.Chris has come a few times to be sure all is working as designed and tweaks it to work quite well. They always respond to needs for service calls. Highly recommend O2Kool for any need you have. Give them a try and you wont be disappointed.

I highly recommend O2Kool for all your HVAC needs. Ive been a customer for the past seven years, and Ive always been super impressed with their service. Brad comes twice a year to service my HVAC unit, and hes always great at answering any questions/concerns. Recently I had to get a new system installed, and I appreciated Brads honesty when he came back with a quote. He didnt try to upsell me a different type of unit like some of the other HVAC companies out there does. Even when I asked him if I needed certain upgrades, he told me that that wasnt necessary. The receptionists are always great at getting my calls returned as well.

Sway, Joe and Robert came out because our AC unit started leaking. They were fast and very professional. It was a simple fix of blowing out the drain pipe. They didnt even charge me because it was such an easy fix. I highly recommend them for any AC or heating problem you might have.

Chris at O2Kool is fantastic! Always knows what is wrong and fixes it a more than reasonable rates. He came out today (Saturday) and knew immediately what to go look for based on my description. Didnt take him long to get me back up and running which was greatly appreciated in this 100 degree heat. Hes also very personable and takes the time to explain the issues and what to do about them in the future.

5+ for O2 Kool. I called on a at Sunday at 2pm. They arrived at my home in less than 2 hours to fix the problem. The outside temperature was 100 degrees so I was extremely grateful that they fixed the problem quickly. I definitely recommend them.

My husbands 80 year old fathers ( who has cancer) air conditioning went out on a Friday afternoon.Its triple digits in heat right now.After calling the Home warranty company and 10 air conditioner companies the only one we could get to come out was Brad at 02 Kool.As soon as he heard the situation he rushed right over to help.It turned out to be just a plugged drain that tripped a switch.Brad got in the attic and sucked out all of the water in the drain pan for his dad.We just cannot thank him enough.He was so incredibly kind to my father in law.I can not say enough wonderful things about him!!!!Brad has a huge heart, and we HIGHLY recommend this company!!

I have been using O2 Kool for many years now and they are fantastic. I had guests at my home and the AC stopped working after hours. Brad came out at 9pm and diagnosed the problem quickly and got it fixed so my guests had AC again. Brad is awesome and I highly recommend calling O2 Kool!

Highly recommend this company. I couldnt believe how quickly they showed up...actually had them out 2 times within a week and they were each there within 1 hour!!! I own a rental house in Kingsland and my AC unit stopped working today. I called another HVAC company in Kingsland--the company who originally installed the AC unit--and they needed several days to come out and even longer to fix the issue. I called Brad and he was working in Sunrise Beach. He immediately came to the house in Kingsland and diagnosed the problem. The TXV valve and capacitor failed and parts were not available in town. The house is Kingsland is a rental house and guests were checking in the next day. Brad drove to Austin and back today to get the required parts, which were installed around 6:00 today! Everything was back in working order on the same day I called! This was a major failure and the response from Brad and the O2 Kool team was amazing. Im so grateful for Brad and the O2 Kool team for their quick response and excellent service. I will definitely call Brad the next time I need fast and high quality HVAC service. Thanks Brad!

Very impressed with their service. They showed up when they committed and called me when on there way. They diagnosed the problem. The thermostat was wired incorrectly. They rewired it and demonstrated it to me. Very professional and technically proficient. Did not try to upsell me on a new thermostat. Price was very reasonable. I will call them next time.

My Trane A/C was auto shutting down. Brad came out, diagnosed the problem and fixed it in 10 minutes. Didn’t charge anything for the service call. Very well educated about the Trane system and very courteous. Thank you O2 Kool!

Used O2Kool to install AC in two separate homes. Very professional and clean install. Recently had a minor issue with one of our ACs. O2Kool came out within 24 hours and fixed it in 10 minutes. The technician Brad was an absolute professional and knew within seconds what was wrong. He even gave me some valuable AC unit knowledge. When you deal with O2 Kool you are dealing with quality.

The team did a fantastic and quick job (1 hour!) hooking up my single MiniSplit and compressor in Johnson City. They were able to do an install within a few days and the price was very reasonable at $800. I did need an electrician to hookup the final piece to complete the install yet that was understandable! The office representative was delightful to speak with as well, friendly and kind! Highly recommend this team!

I called because I had purchased a new Smart Thermostat and it wasnt getting power when I replaced my old battery thermostat. Brad came out the same day and found 1 wire was disconnected at the furnace. It took him less than 5 minutes to fix my issue. Even better, it was fixed with no charge AT ALL!!!Brad explained that they focus on giving customers quality service over charging customers for just showing up. A/C went out during these hot July days. Called 3 local companies to see who could come out today. O2 Cool sent a pro out in 2 hours. He determined the compressor was out & would need to order.System was installed by a different company & still under warranty so he suggested to contact them. Chris told us there was no charge for coming & diagnosing. What!?NO charge! Thank you to Chris & O2 Cool for the rapid & professional response. I highly recommend them!

We were referred to this company by our realtor. She spoke very highly of them and said they could probably help us out. We were having issues with our A/C not cooling in a house that we were selling. We had an open house scheduled for the following day. He showed up on short notice, before the open house started. The only issue was that the breaker had been tripped. He turned the breaker back on and did not even charge us for a service call.Will definitely use them for any future repairs!

Our air conditioner broke in during one of the days that the temp was over 100 degrees. He came out the next day, access the issue and fixed it with out any delay. Brad is the technician that came to our condo. The HVAC was leaking water and other attempts at repair with other companies were not successful. Brad was able to make the repair quickly. The other company suggested complete replacement of the entire unit. 02kool AC solved the problem with minimal expense. Brad was extremely knowledgeable and professional, we will definitely use them in the future.

I called O 2 Kool from a rental property at Inks Lake. Not only did someone pick at 430 when no one else did. The owner stopped by within a couple hours, trouble shot the problem, TOLD ME HOW TO FIX IT and didnt want a dime, he actually showed me how easy it was to fix it and what to do. Oh and he had a huge trailer with commercial equipment on it so he does it all. Its hard to find service and honesty these days. They call on all of Austin. Call em!!!!Thank yall so much.

Chris is our lifesaver! Surgery day is crazy for us and we had a clinic full of sweet pets when we noticed the thermostat rising. Chris showed up a few hours later and fixed the issue before we even had a chance to break a sweat. He even changed our air filters. Definitely have new loyal customers.

Amazing folks...actually 6 stars...made a good deal on A/C with great warranty and service...today they get a 10 star rating for coming out quickly a Sunday to fix a problem...( my son cut throw a wire while weeding eat)

We had a great experience with O2Kool. We suspected a possible with one of our units and the original installer couldnt get out soon and the warranty was nearly up. O2Kool made it the next business day and figured out the problem right away which assisted us to convince the original installers they had warranty work to do. Were using O2Kool for maintenance from now on and if and when future repairs are needed. Great communication and they didnt try to sell us on anything unnecessary. Our neighbors used them for a full refresh of their house equipment and were also very pleased.

Amazing Amazing Service.. yes 2x Amazing. I called many places before I got down to 02 Kool, and many were clipped and told me as soon as i mentioned my ac was acting up that they were booked and couldnt see me until Monday more then 4 days away...the experience I got when I called O2 Kool was again AMAZING. Every aspect from the customer service to the work.. from my initial call in to schedule a technician to come look at my unit to the sweet lady who answered the phone who could not be more polite. She was very helpful and made sure to tell me the latest time I could expect someone to arrive.. despite calling at 5pm they told me they would try to get to me that night but that they would have someone out to me first thing in the morning at the latest .. and they did. Despite working until 11pm the night before Chris was there early and made sure I understood everything that was happening. He explained what the problem was and all my options in a very honest clear way and did not try to sell me anything, but instead JUST answered all my questions VERY honestly and directly. Bonus : He had my ac fixed in less then a hour!!! And the price didnt make me cry, as I was scared it would lol. I went from having a house that was 85 degrees to back to 72 in less then a hour and it didnt break the bank. It was one of the best experiences Ive ever had in a situation like that. He made sure I understood everything before leaving and told me to call back if there was any problems or complications. I could not be happier with my choice when I chose O2 Kool.. next time I know exactly who to call right away. 02 Kool made a loyal customer in me and I will be calling them to handle my seasonal upkeep maintenance now as well! Our ac went out our house was 105° inside and after calling a few companies we got a hold of 02 Kool refrigeration and a&c we desperately needed them n they said that they werent sure what time they will be there but in less than 15 min. we had someone calling that they were on their way n we were so thankful they showed up so soon ...thank you!!!! for everything yall do they are the best ,Im definitely keep them for my ac needs n will refer them to anyone they need their services..

Brad has been my AC guy for 5 years and does seasonal maintenance. He is very honest and no charge for visit if repair is not needed. There is a reasonable service contract for yearly maintenance. Based in Kingsland but services Austin area. Prompt appointments.

Second time that I have used O2 Kool to install two A/C units - I have four total. Today JC and his crew showed up on time and did a spot-on job of installing two AC units in 4 hours and even honored a quote that they provided 17 months ago. Very detail oriented, kept me updated during the install and made sure that everything was functioning correctly and that I was 100% satisfied. Highly recommend!

Hire this company! I was very well pleased with 02 Kool Refrigeration & A/C and their representatives. They responded very quickly and got my issue resolved the same day. I had three quotes and they beat the other quotes, so a win-win situation.

I’ve used Chris and his crew twice now. First for a mini split system for our garage enclosure and then they came out yesterday and finally put a stop to our families hot summer. We had to save up for months to get it fixed but if Chris hadn’t worked with me it would have been even longer. These guys are real professionals. Left the areas they worked cleaner than when they got here and As far as the quality of work all I can say is we are thoroughly impressed. I had to get up last night and ACTUALLY TURN DOWN the ac for a change which was a great feeling. Can’t recommend them enough. Great guys. Support local!

There is no other company I would recommend for fixing your AC and heater units. Any time I’ve had to call on them. They have gotten to me as quickly as they can and fixed everything. I can’t imagine anyone could do it better or for a more reasonable price. Feel blessed to have found this company.

My AC stopped working towards the end of the day. It became too hot stay in. I was frantic and worried if I could get someone to help look at the issue. I called few places with no answer. At the end my buddy gave me the contact to O2 Kool Refrigeration & AC. I called and talked to nice lady who was willing to help. She took my contact and told me she would find any contractor who is willing to help. I never thought somebody would come and look at the issue at this late hour. Sure enough I got a call from JC telling me that he is on his way to my place and he lives hour and a half way. He showed up and looked into the issue. He fixed it and the fix was minor. Because of a minor fix, he refused to take a payment. I am so grateful to JC for serving so quick and with such a great professionalism. May he be blessed. I recommend O2 Kool to anyone including my friends and family. Finally I found a good dependable AC repairman.

My AC line backed up. They came out the same day. Cleared the line several times to ensure there was no clog left. Poured vinegar in the drain pan to clear out the gunk and blew the pipes one last time then put mesh covers over the pipe openings to ensure nothing gets into the drain pipe again. I would definitely recommend 2cool if you have a problem.

I have used this company twice now and they are great. I called the main number, had to leave a message, but Chris called me back in less than 30 minutes and got me on their service list for the same day. JC came by about 2 hours later. We had a small problem with our heater and JC got it working in 30 minutes. Both of my experiences with O2 Kool have been great. They are fast efficient and very friendly. I would highly reccomend them.

This company has the most professional, prompt, respectful, thorough, knowledgeable, timely, and kind employees/owner with whom I have ever dealt. I lost heat during the extreme cold. The owner could not get to me but did a FaceTime appointment to try to diagnose. They answer the phone and you dont get a recording!! They came my home as soon as the roads were clear and showed up on time. We decided to have a new, more efficient/reliable (Trane) system installed and the employees were incredibly professional and the work was stellar. They stand behind their work 100%. It makes a difference when you know that a company is with you and cares about you. The new unit had a scratch on it and they would not install it and drove to Austin to exchange it. They would not install anything less than perfect. Thank you to the entire staff of 02 Kool!! We are looking forward to many years of your taking care of our AC/Heat needs.

Wow what an unexpected pleasure doing business with this group. AC went out Friday at literally the worst time of year. Upstairs temp 90 degrees. Tried a couple of other companies couldn’t come out earliest Monday Tues. Found them onSaturday, scheduled on a freaking Sunday came out and Brad nailed the problem in 10 minutes. Replaced the part and was done in 30 minutes. What was really amazing was the conversation before leaving. He mentioned it might take an hour or so to cool down given the heat etc. I said what if doesn’t cool down and need to give him a call. He said we are open 24 hours and even if it comes on don’t hesitate to call and say hello. Just a great experience.

Our HVAC broke, and 02 Kool was able to send out someone to service it the next morning. They arrived a bit late due to an emergency with the client before us, but fixed it quickly and gave us recommendations for a replacement system for when were ready to replace it later this year. Would recommend.

Look no further. These guys are the real deal. The are fast, skilled and fair in pricing. I called on Fathers Day to see if I could get some help with a Lennox Heat Pump that wasn’t cooling the home. I had little hope that I would be able to get on a schedule anytime soon. The phone was answered on the first ring and the repair was started within 15 min of me inquiring. Amazing!!!! You won’t work with nicer people.

AC broke down so I started calling places to get it fixed in this 105-degree weather. O2Kool called back without me even leaving a message. While other companies could book me for an appointment in the coming week, Chris at O2Kool put me on the on-call list and said they would get to me either that day or the next.Next day he gave me a call saying he’d be there in 45 minutes. Showed up exactly on time and diagnosed/fixed the problem in minutes. He checked the rest of the system to make sure it was operational, which thankfully it was. Even gave me a few tips on how to best run the HVAC in my particular house. As an added plus, he even *offered* to take his shoes off before coming in the house. Far cry from the eye roll I typically get from folks when I ask them to remove their shoes.Couldn’t survive a Texan summer without them!

Whoever left less than a 5 star review needs their head examined. I called 13 HVAC companies to help my daughter w an emergency heater issue. Even called the builder. No one called me back or seemed to care. Chris called me back. I explained the emergency. He had a full day already booked. However. He took time out of his day to stop but her home and fix the heater. So thankful there are a few caring professionals left out there to help those in need. Will not use another HVAC company after my experience with Chris and his team.

They do not like to return phone calls. They do not keep appointments. They do not follow up with their customers. They tried to delete my warranty from their system. Make sure you keep all your receipts because they will try anything to refuse service. It has not been a good experience.

Hottest week in Austin on record and the A/C at a rental property went down.I called O2 at 8:30am. They met with the tenants on site and the problem was fixed before noon. The price was great — they replaced the capacitor and tested everything else without taking advantage of the fact that I wasn’t there.Before I called O2, I called 2-3 other companies— all had multiple day waiting lists. However, calling those companies first made me appreciate O2 availability, service, and honesty even more.Needless to say O2 will be my only call going forward.

O2Kool is by FAR the best AC company I have ever hired. Chris (owner) is operating a great business with great employees. They come out day or night as soon as they can. They have saved me a twice (2 different homes) - first time they came out at 11pm to get my AC working. Recently my AC broke (new house) and they were here within an 1 hour of me calling and got my AC up and working right away.Highly, highly, highly recommend them for your AC needs!

Called for intermittent A/C operation based on great Home advisor rating and, in the end, they actually exceeded those high expectations. Clogged drain valve was blown out at no charge to get back in operation and tech spent 45 minutes with me explaining root causes and benefits of new system. Current system is 17 years old & I knew it was on its last legs anyway but tech’s explanation was based on current technology and minimal salesmanship. I have above average mechanical aptitude so I appreciated his input and honesty. Committed to the new system install and everything went to quote on a Saturday. We even had the owner, Chris, come out to finalize the installation while giving his crew (Jerome, Joseph, Brad & James) constructive learning along the way. Fantastic customer commitment, reasonable pricing and an excellent experience made for an easy Saturday on a tough project. Will definitely hire again and recommend them whole heartedly.

Initial review and encounter: Chris is a great guy. He came out to do a free estimate, and when he saw it was just a breaker problem, he fixed it and didnt charge anything. Very friendly and great service, definitely going to recommend him to anyone with a/c problems.2nd review and encounter: I had a a/c replacement done by O2Kool (and chose them due to the great 1st encounter and 2nd was just as good). A snafu came up that might have caused another company to reschedule. But O2Kool took the challenge and showed exceptional determination, work ethic, and courtesy throughout the install to over come the obstacles in their path to get the install done. It was very important for me (which they didnt know) for the install to happen today and be successful. Im teleworking and cannot schedule repairs or have people around while doing my work due to HSPD-12. The only time I can schedule house repairs is on the weekends when I have time to remove any PII information from my workstation or anywhere that work is going to be done. O2Kool without knowing any of this, went above and beyond to overcome the issues that could have caused a possible reschedule, which would have lead to me having to deal with no a/c for a week while teleworking in austin heat thats hitting 100. At the end of the a/c installation, everything was working great. Normally when you review you give 5 out of 5 as the best, but due to their honor, work ethic, and courtesy, Im giving 6 out 5. Thank you very much for all you did. I will continue to recommend you to anyone who needs any a/c work done. Chris youre running your company with honor, a great work ethic, and great customer service. To the two installers that finished my install, thank you for everything you did! Came home on a Friday night to no A/C and emailed 02 Kool after about an hour of troubleshooting (with my limited knowledge).Right away, I knew it was going to be a good experience because I had a reply in about 15 minutes... on a Friday night. :)We scheduled for Monday (I wasnt available until then) and Chris was great. He figured out the issue in no time and was completely honest about the situation. He said replacing the compressor and cond. coil would be needed sometime soon but didnt push at all. He also made sure I knew other option and then recommended what he thought was best.When it comes time to do the replacement, well definitely be using O2 Kool!

Home AC stopped working, but fortunately it was April. Chris, the owner, came out and arrived at the time agreed upon. He diagnosed our problem and determined the compressor was seized. Unfortunately for us, our AC was 14 years old and was a freon / R22 unit that was no longer serviceable or repairable. Chris was very up front and honest about the issues and did not try to pressure me or my wife into anything whatsoever. He did not try to upsell any products to us either.Chris provided his diagnosis and estimate at no cost, YES FREE! I called a friend afterwards who is in the HVAC business and showed him my quote from O2Kool to make sure we were not being ripped off. My friend affirmed the pricing was fair and the products Chris sells, Trane AC units, are of the highest quality.I still had another highly rated company come to my house and evaluate / give us an estimate for the AC work. The problem was diagnosed as the same, but I was charged $80 for the 15 minutes he was at my house, and I had to schedule another appointment to meet with the owner of the company to provide me with all of my options.The owner came out after I had to call his office twice to find out when he might be available. The owner provided me the AC system replacement options but tried to upsell me on the inside unit, outside unit, resizing duct work, and a high end AC filter. I asked if I could take a picture of his price list so that I could discuss the options with my wife, but he would not allow me to do so.After having two companies and a trusted friend provide input on my best options for replacing our entire home AC unit, it was obvious Chris and O2Kool were the best choice. I called Chris, and he quickly arranged to show up the next morning and begin work. He and his crew maintained excellent communication with me through the install, and they did not loaf around either. While they were here, they were working.The Trane XR14 unit for our 1600 square foot house was expensive at $8900, but I am very thankful we chose O2Kool for the job. I highly recommend Chris and his crew. He will shoot you straight and treat you like gold. Excellent work! I will refer anyone who asks about AC work to O2Kool.At the time I purchased, financing was available. It was through a Wells Fargo home improvement credit card. The approval process was super simple and instant.

I contacted 02 Kool via Home Advisors and had great service; I was able to schedule the visit online which was highly convenient. They were on time and called to let me know they were on their way. JC and his crewmate came out and did a thorough diagnostic of my issue. They were courteous and knowledgeable and did not leave until they were sure that my problem was fully resolved. Because it was a settings issue and did not require repair, I was not charged for the visit. I highly recommend them.

I called on the weekend and they said they would be there within the hour. He found out what the problem was and did and adjustment as the pressure was to low for the heater to work correctly. He called me to let me know the problem and that it was working fine now and said no charge. This is a great customer service and friendly to add to our hill country area and highly recommend them wish i could give them more stars.

My AC at my house went out Friday night and I called O2 kool Saturday morning and the technician Brad came out Saturday. He was very professional and knowledgeable and helped a lot.

O2 Kool was prompt to respond to my call about our commercial freezer not working correctly. The tech, JC, arrived within the timeframe provided and immediately began his diagnostics. He corrected what was wrong with the unit and stayed around long enough to ensure it was working properly. He was very thorough, knowledgeable, respectful and great at communicating the issues of our freezer. I will not hesitate contacting O2 Kool and JC if the need ever arises again!!

Manor People when you need AC/Heating help I recommend 2koolac. They have been to my house 3 times starting on Valentines Day. In the snow they showed up at 8:30 pm to fix our heater so we could stay warm. Even though the power went out anyway that night. We called them out after the power came back on when we noticed our heater wasnt working right. Come to find out that the power going on and off every 5 minutes during the outages fried the brain of our system. Now with a new Honeywell brain we are good to go. I recommend these people over everyone in the Austin area. They were the only ones who would come out and help us. We called over 20 different places (including ABC and Fox) on Valentines day and they were the only one who would help.

My A/C stopped working because some animals chowed down some of the wires on the outside unit. I found O2 Kool online and called in for service. The next day morning, JC from O2 Kool diagnosed the problem and fixed it in no time. I recommend O2 Kool and will be contacting them for any of my future HVAC-related services.

Called O2 Kool thru Angies List, to come and give an estimate for my aging parents house. Promptly gave the estimate of $1900 for the possible repair, to a full system for $7300. The Tech kept pointing out how bad our 5 year old system was! We were shocked, so proceeded to call in for a second opinion, the next HVAC company in line. They on the other hand found the ongoing issue, and fixed it for $329!He even included cleaning of ducts!O2 Kool, had a chance to make a difference to my parents, but the fast sell got in the way of pulling it off!

I have a vacation house that isnt occupied most of the year. The AC in the main house was not working so I called O2 Kool. JC came out last Friday to take a look at the system. He quickly diagnosed what the issue was. We scheduled an appoint for repairs for Tuesday morning, and JC was prompt and on time. Within approximately 30 minutes, the AC was working wonderfully! I would absolutely recommend using O2 kool for your air conditioner needs in the highland lakes area! Their knowledge, professionalism, and punctuality are things that I have have difficult to find with most AC repair companies. You will not be disappointed if you give them a call!

JC was amazing. So kind and came out late in the day bc our upstairs was a sauna. He didn’t use any parts but identified and fixed the problem and didn’t charge us anything. They will be our lifelong AC Repair company. Can’t say enough great things!

Chris came out the same day I called just to light the pilot in my furnace. Two other companies wanted between $90.00 to $150.00 just to light the pilot but Chris did it at no charge. I will call them again. Thanks Chris.

Let me tell you about Chris, this guy is amazing. He is the literal Jedi of AC. Showed up at my ACless house and got straight to trouble shooting. Had an amazing attitude after being in the heat all day (I can only assume he goes to places where the AC doesn’t work lol) and had a smile on his face. He was very personable, we talked about cats and then he walked me through what was wrong with my cooling unit and what needed to be done. This all happened inside of 20 min.TL;DR If you don’t hire Chris, you have done yourself a great disservice. This guy is amazing and I will only call him, ever.

He came out in a hurry, was very knowledgeable and helped me out! I was struggling with the 106 degree weather and no AC and a sudden shutdown of my unit. It was back up and running in a jiffy. Would 100% recommend and would definitely call again for service.

So I call Chris after hours on a Cold rainy Tuesday evening. He gets to our complex in record time. He very quickly located the problem ,that I should have seen but didnt. He fixed the issue easily. I called 6 companys all wanted to charge an arm and a leg just for driving over. Well, it was around 10:30pm, and my ac stopped working, so I called up O2 hoping they would answer..to my amazement, they answered , and told them my problem, it was like 15 minutes and they showed up..J.C and Brad are the coolest techs Ive met, and I think it was like 5 minutes after they got here, they had it running..did a lil maintenance on it. Thats it. A total of 30 minutes.
