Quality Heating & Air Conditioning

On Wednesday, March 6, 2024, I cant reach them by phone. Verizon gives message that the number cannot be completed as dialed. Triple checked number and its correct. Just trying to set up an appointment. No website email listed on Google listing where I can message direct. Long-time (decades) customer.

They charged me $110 just to tell me that my AC froze over and did nothing to fix it. I never heard from them again. And then the lady at the front desk tried to argue with me like she was there telling me that the tech actually did work. Worst business Ive ever worked with. Do yourself a favor, take your business elsewhere.

I shouldn’t do this. I should not tell you how pleasant it is to be able to text your air conditioner company and have them respond and show up when they say they will.They absolutely fix everything that has an issue. They are pleasant to deal with.The reason I should not tell you this is that you will use them and if everyone starts to use them then they will be busy.But good service and people should be rewarded. Cory is the owner and I highly recommend his work ethic and responsiveness.Great prices as well. You have air issues? Use this company.

Awesome place! They came out and did an estimate on my a/c that was freezing over. Determined it needed cleaning. I had them come out after an estimate of $350-$400, when I was quoted $500 by a different company not long before. The guys Dale and Max were very nice and professional. They came in pulled the coils and cleaned them. They put everything back and cleaned up. They treated myself and my family with respect and were very nice to our cats as we run a rescue in our home. Max is allergic to cats and never once complained! I will continue to use their company for my heating and air conditioning needs! The final cost was $375 for them to pull and clean my a/c coils. Very affordable!!

Good prices, good customer service and I am just so thankful that I contacted them!! They just fixed my air today and the last person said it needed refrigerant, they came and saw it was my backed up drain and they fixed it and I have air!! After weeks of sweating and fighting this heat, they fixed my air!!! I will definitely use them and recommend them to anyone looking for service!!

If you value your hard earned dollars, do not call this business.I called them to check my AC unit they did there testing on it said it was low on freon, but they needed there digital gauges so they said they will come out first thing in the morning. Wouldnt answer my calls then they finally showed up at noon. They hooked there gauges up to it and said theres no freon. And before adding some freon he took off the panel to the accumulator suction line (copper pipe) and said theres a leak there. So they cut the pipe to bypass it, so they could charge the system. After he cut it he pulled the pipe and split it at the accumulator said thats bad, going to have to order that part. The lady said Ill call you in 2 hours, i end up calling her 3 hours later no answer. By this time it after hours was like oh well. Call next day she answers and says Ill call you back in 10 mins. She called back and said the past week take 3-5 days.Day 3: i call and no answer so i leave a voicemail. 2 hours go by and no call back. Didnt want to be a bug. So i waited till day 5.Day 5: I call no answer leave voicemail. Tell wife to call, the lady tells my wife the carrier said 1-2 more days.Day 6: We both call no answers.I call another company to come check it out and said its a scam companys do, but since they cut the line all the oils and Freon has leaked out. Now Im paying 1200$ to fix what they cut, and recharge the whole system.Day 8: Still have not received any calls.The lady will use the word, (high end unit) alot.And saying it could be the compressor. I truly believe they tampered with my unit.I will be contacting the BBB.

No professionalism what so ever, they came out today to put on a part, they told us would be in in 14 days that was August 20th. No one called us to let us know the part had came in broke and they had to send it back. Now today they said they would be out between 8:30 am and 9:30 am no one showed up until after we called the office manager, she had to call the technician to call us. He couldnt come out at that time because it was going to rain at 12noon. News Flash its 2:05 no rain insight!After arguing with him over the phone, he finally came about 10:45 am. They finished putting my Air Conditioning unit together, but didnt bring enough Freon so they had to go to get more. So I went to look at the work after it was done and notice the 2 pads wasnt put under the unit and the unit it self was sitting a little in the grass. My husband ask if they could put a longer copper wire on there so it wouldnt be on the grass. Technicians stated we take that off and put another one it will cost another 85.00. So they charge extra to do it right the second time? Last I asked the technician how he felt about his Quality of work, he said we gave you a loaner while you waited for the part. I guess I should be grateful for that.

I have been a customer of Quality Heating and Air for almost 30 years. When I needed a new ac unit I gave them a call. Jennifer, Kelly, and Max are the best. They came out quickly and took care of me . They are always polite and respectful, and are honest and dont try to rip you off , do yourself a favor and give these good folks a call.

I wish i could give NO stars!!!!I got a new ac unit installed around 9-10 am. Around 2 pm my house was still at 86 degrees. I called the number on google & Cory “I guess he’s the owner” told me he’ll send his crew back to check in the unit. Around 730pm I called back and no answer. I kept calling and calling & soon enough my calls went straight to voicemail. Had my husband call also it ran a few time and soon enough it started going to voicemail!! So much for a “24 hour” services. Luckily I am only renting this house an I didn’t pay them. But I would NOT recommend quality air service to anyone. They are unreachable & Cory will block your number!

Approximately five years ago I had major issues with my heating/AC unit. It pretty much broke and needed to be replaced. The good folks from Quality Heating & Air Conditioning came to my house right away. After going over my options I decided to completely replace the A/C unit. The very next day Quality Heating and Air came out and got everything replaced. They worked quick and did a very nice job. I was very happy with the service. The unit they recommended and put in was a Goodman Heat Pump 4 ton unit. Now although I was very happy with their response time, service, and work I am very unhappy with the Goodman Heat Pump. Since this unit has been put in its broken down every year. Last year it broke twice. The parts have always been under warranty but labor is never cheep. The owner or technician always gets out quickly to check the unit and always fixes it quick so thats a good thing. So in summary the company is a good group of guys but Goodman Heat Pumps are nothing but junk.

I want to tell you that I have been back in Killeen for a year now and had rented out our house. I called this company when we got back just to check the ac out. I had a couple of repair bills on the ac during the time we were gone. They came out and for a very reasonable price made sure it was in good working order. Then today I woke up to my house being 80 degrees. I called them in the afternoon when I got back from work and they came right away had the problem fixed within an hour and again very reasonably priced. I cannot afford a new air conditioner at this time and am very grateful that they were able to fix it at an affordable price. I would recommend them to anyone looking for repair or new system.

These guys are great! Even though we compete one of my servicemen hurt his back while working on someones AC.A quality heating and air tech across the street saw this and came over and helped him complete job. PURE CLASS. I cant say enough how much we respect Jerry Kirkpatrick and ALL his employees. We are all out here in this heat together trying to take care of customers and he could have just drove off but he chose to help. We wish him and Quality Heating and Air NOTHING but the best.

I had done business with these guys for the last 5 years with the older gentlemen that there. They would bill me for services rendered and I would in return honor my committment to them by repaying them. I had some work done 2 weeks before I deployed to ensure that my wife would not have to deal with it as she returned home from deployment. She returned the 3rd week only to harassing phone calls from a collector, not from Quality Heating and she was so upset that she called me in Afghanistan asking why were these guys so rude and that a simple call from Quality would have gotten the payment. I called Quality and spoke with one of the representatives who did not seem to care about our situation in deploying but did apologize for collector. I have not nor will I ever do business with Quality Heating, I now do buisiness with Air Condition Services. I will not patronize a business that has treats members of the Armed Forces that way.

Dont call these guys!! After a service call to fix my AC the heat stopped working. Of course theyll charge you a 50$ service call. The tech kept telling me my 20year old house had obsolete equipment and would run me $5000 to replace it all. I called another company (centex air)and they charged me alot less for repair..$40 serv call and gave me accurate info. Quality just looks to take advantage of hard working people. Will never deal with this company again.

Our air conditioner went out and jared arrived within 2 hours and fixed our unit within 30 minutes. great personality and a hard worker. would definitely recommend.

I have been doing business with Quality Air Service for awhile, and this business has always been there when I called in regards to maintainance on my unit. Jared has been very helpful and very reasonable in price. I intend to continue to do business with this company in the future.

My “property manager” called Cory our to see why the AC wasn’t blowing cold. He identified a TXV valve and claimed it is a $600 job. Next thing I know, he charges me $1,482 for 2 parts, neither of which were the TXV, $510 for 10lbs of refrigerant even though he openly said in an email that he only charges $39 per lb. I have a full thread of emails where this man can’t capitalize his own name, lies upon lies, and then refused to refund me any money. I advise anyone who has had a job done by him, who doesn’t know anything about his sort of work, analyze your receipts and start googling part numbers, compare it to what he told you, and see if you still think this is a good business.And oh, by the way.... this was at least the fourth time he has been out in 2 years, and never recommended that we replace the unit.... after two years of this man and my own property managers shafting me for thousands, I got American Homeshield... and OMG, low and behold... this amaaazing company they claim to be... you wouldn’t believe it... my AC went out just two months later!!! Thank GOD I got American Home Shield!!!

Excellent!!! I wish I would have called them first! Not only did they come out here within an hour of being called, they fixed my problem, including problems created by the consult of the first repair man for 95% less than Campbells Appliance quoted!! I will defiantly use them for all future needs!!

I can not speak to the service in which they provide only to the fact that I called them around 10:30 am and it sounded like they were still in bed and I had woken them up, then I was hung up on. I called them back to see if it was just that the line got disconnected to then being forwarded to there voice mail after 2 rings. Happy to take my business Elsewhere

Was called out the past few years to fix things on the AC, after about 2 years or more of using them, had a family friend come out to take a look, yes he is certified and has his own business, he said who ever has been doing the work, hasnt been doing it fully. So basically wasted so much money with these people. Be aware, do research, and dont go here. Used to be good til it was taken over.

Called these hard working SOBs August 19th in Central Texas, they showed up 30 min later with several solutions and a long term plan that was in my best interest (Im a little cheap lol) Great people honest and hard working, most importantly awesome communicators!

Called them about 7:30, they were out about 8:30 and fixed the heater. Wire kinked going to thermastat and bad batteries on thermastat. $65.00 for about 20 min work but well worth it. Saved me a lot of time.

I want to thank all the AMAZING people at QH&AC! Youre fast, friendly, competent and knowledgeable people are above all others. Ive been using the company 4 yrs for all my AC work and I would not use anyone else. Thank you for all you do.

They were here at my home within 30 minutes of calling. He explained to me what was the problem and what he need to do and he even offered some suggestions for when Ill need a new unit. Great customer service!

The young man that came bye did an amazing job fixing and cleaning my AC . I would like to share and get it out that I would use this company anytime! He even called to check on it after he left !

Not reliable and unreachable. This “24 hour” company hasn’t answered the phone at all. I’ve been calling them since 5pm (currently 10pm) so 5 hours of calling/Facebook messaging/texting and NO ONE has responded. My house is 89 degrees. That’s too hot for our family to be comfortable!!

Turned our ac off and then left my mother and toddler with no ac (103° heat index) for 4 1/2 hours (said theyd be back in 2) When we called to see when they would be back they said that the tech wasnt in town and then hung up and refused to answer the phone. Terrible service and no basic decency.

Corey with Quality Air will always be our go to guy for a/c needs in the Central Texas area. Not many business owners will sacrifice weekend time with their family to come out to the house to fix non working unit that someone else installed. He did!

I called on a Saturday at 8am, problem was fixed by 9:30am!!! Excellent service and Max was super friendly, honest and professional. Highly recommend this company!!! Five stars.

This is by far the best A.C. company in the area. They show up on time and repair deficiencies in a timely manner. Great customer service and fair prices. I highly recommend!

The Technicians were extremely professional. They were very knowledgeable of HVAC System and they explained everything in Laymen terms.

No Problem with them coming out and fixing my Problem when the Lawn Guy cut my Power Cord that runs to the A/C unit.
