The crew was very professional and able to clear everything out despite it was a very old unit. They also gave recommendations and gave me an estimate for repairs. They were pet friendly and did not complain about anything. Thank you Orian, Caleb and junior(and the girl taking the pictures) for a fast and competent service.

Aire Serv replaced part of my air ducts. They did an excellent job. Ive used this company before for AC issues as well. The staff are friendly and caring.

Mike was very friendly and explained everything he did. He was very thorough. My husband does monthly maintenance on our AC unit and the drain line was so high, it was difficult for him to pour the vinegar to clean it out. Mike cut it down so it’s much easier for my husband to do the monthly maintenance. Mike found a small wasp nest in a vent. It wasn’t active, but he cleaned it out anyway. I have no clue how it got there but we had never even noticed it! Like I said, Mike was very thorough in his inspection. I would be very happy to have him back for the next inspection and maintenance!

Great service and very fair. We had a maintenance check up by Michael Cruz. He was very thorough and did everything he could to make sure that all our questions were answered. Very knowledgeable and professional but never tried to answer things he did not know and if we had questions about something he knew where to refer us. Will definitely be calling him for our future AC needs.

I had some issues with my old thermostat. The company sent Mike and he was very polite and professional. The price was not cheap but the labor and the service the gentleman provided were top notch. The company should hire more veterans like him!Its been a month and everything is working perfect. Someone followed up to check on the status of the labor and I high recommend them. If I had to call again I would definitely ask for Mike again.

Absolutely awesome service! My tech (Jack) was amazing. Super courteous and efficient. He found the problem and expedited the repair! I was also informed of other services and service plans they provide for future reference and was given a breakdown of a refrigerant test that may be needed in the near future and what that may entail. I am so very pleased with the service I received from Aire Serv and would highly recommend to any and everyone!!!

Michael is An amazing tech! I saw his van yesterday and I asked him about how often I should change my filter and other things I can do to help keep my system healthy. He told me about pouring vinegar down the white tube and hosing my outside unit. Hes a very helpful and informative person. Talked to me about getting maintenance and some plans they have for yearly and monthly. I think me and my wife will think on it. But even with a conversation I saw it as great service! thank you Michael! This coming winter aireserv will be the guys I call!

Always appreciate the above and beyond service provided by Aire Serv of Killeen. Orian Douglas did our fall service and not only made sure we were taken care of for heat but that our smoke detectors worked and I remembered how to change the smart filter. Top tier service.

We called them out for our AC that was shutting off then turning back on.They came out, determined it was our control board. $400 later they leave, same issue.They come back out again, the guy ((his words)) “jiggled some wires and it worked” charged us 200 dollars for a diagnostic charge. Also tried to upsell us on a cleaning service and a monthly plan. Still went out after they left of course.Third time, similar experience, still didn’t work except this time they told us they would need to rewire our entire unit . No credits, no refund, nothing. Just more money.We called a different company finally. They came out, figured out it was a breaker issue. Replaced the breaker all in under an hour. $200 dollars later it was fixed.We essentially spent close to a thousand dollars for them to do nothing but leave us without heating or cooling and try to upsell us on things we didn’t need. The new company even inspected our unit and said it was already clean.Terrible overall experience, and I would NOT recommend them.

My wife was here when tech arrived. I was displeased with the wiring. It just didn’t look professionally done. Also the pricing for parts in our opinion was too high. We had other professionals assess the job and found out that we only needed 2 Lbs of Freon than the 5 Lbs that Airserve wanted to charge us for.

Failed to fully unclog condensation drain in July, returned to confirm that ONLY this same problem existed with the system. Proceeded to charge credit card they’d kept on file from prior visit. Summary: Does not stand behind their work. Work is done incompletely. Charges $128 for visit to come see that they’d not done job correctly 2 months prior. Buyer/customer beware!

I recently had my AC serviced by a Jack Armstrong and it was such a good experience!! He made sure that we were taken care of quickly as we had dogs in the house that were hot. And he was super knowledgeable and kind to boot!Highly recommend this service, especially if you get Jack Armstrong.

Had semi-annual service conducted on my HVAC system. Orian Douglas provided the maintenance. He fully explained what he was going to do and completed the job to standard. He was extremely courteous and thorough.

Love that fact they have after hours service calls unlike the normal HVAC I use and they said they where closed. Aire Serv was reliable and inspected everthing thoroughly and Jack explained in detail what his findings where and what my system says it should be running at. Jack was nice, polite, and respectful our properly. Jack gave me more information then what I have been given the past from other companies. Jack was also respectful our dog when goming into the house and leaving and didnt mind her barking or checking on him. Jack also described there member plans and how they work and that will be something we will be looking into soon to become a full time customer of their company.

Mr. Orian Douglas came and did my fall tune-up today. He did a great job. He explained everything to me from start to finished. He was very knowledgeable and professional.

Had an issue with my system and they sent their technician, Jack Armstrong, to handle it. Mr. Armstrong came out, was very clean and professional. He explained each step and at the end, provided photographic and video proof of the work completed to standard. The install looked professional as well; nothing had to be glued, taped or tied together like other local businesses that go around cutting corners. Mr. Armstrongs business card will stay on our fridge for any other HVAC needs. Thanks.

I find Pete a very conscientious and thorough AC repairmen. He connects very positively with hs customers, myself included. On the day h arrived at my house he was training a young man in AC repair. My ac unit was damaged by a flying couch in the tornado and last Friday was struck by lightning…. Needless to say it’s not so cool anymore. Jack from Aire Serv arrived on Sunday afternoon once I got home to find out my ac was dead and assessed the damage. Jack was a great guy. Extremely respectful. They called me the next morning with a quote to fix the compressor. I decided the whole unit needed to be replaced. It was 17yrs old. They brought in window units in to cool the house down and replacing the unit tomorrow. Thank you for being very prompt and extremely sympathetic to our heat issues in the summer heat.

Michael/Mike and his team did an amazing job! We didn’t have air blowing in two of our rooms and after they came out not only was it working but all the vents worked better than ever. They went above and beyond to work on our AC unit in the pouring rain. I would recommend using Airserv not only for their exceptional customer service and their professional workers, but also for their speedy reaction time. We called them Friday late and they came out first thing Monday morning and worked through the rain to make sure we were all set.

Great first experience. Quick and timely service that fixed my A/C that went out overnight. Mr. Armstrong explained everything perfectly and gave expert advice on how to increase our A/C performance and efficiency.

Probably the most thorough inspection of my homes I have ever witnessed. I am a simple man as I need to know the problems if any but also I need workable/affordable solutions is utmost important.

AC unit went out and needed a new one. They were one of the highest quotes I received. Received two different prices that was a couple thousand dollars apart. Went with a different company that was half the price. The technicians were very nice but the person who does the pricing of new units is not. Had an attitude, and did not have good customer service. Will not do business here again.

Scheduled spring service of HVAC system. Service technician Michael showed up at scheduled time, he was very polite and respectful. He explained what he would be accomplishing during the call and inform us of any potential issues. Upon completion he told us what types of routine maintenance we could do to keep our system performing optimally. I was impressed with his attention to detail while while performing the maintenance.

I had an appt between 9-11 am on 10 Dec 2024 for a Nest Thermostat to be installed. A no-show with no courtesy call with an explanation. Bad business.

Jack Armstrong was our service tech this time and he was very through in cleaning the blower and condenser. Looks close to new. Highly recommend Aire Serv of Killeen for your HVAC needs. Great service.

The first day of moving into our new house, the air conditioning upstairs was not working, and it was hotter inside than outside. Aire Serv sent a technician (Jack Armstrong) out the same day, and he not only got it working before my wife and sons arrived (which, on its own, would be worth 5 stars to me), but he also detected and corrected at least two incipient issues.

We are incredibly grateful to Michael Cruz from Aire Serv of Killeen for his dedication and excellent service. Despite it being after hours, Michael came out to diagnose our HVAC issue. While he couldnt repair it that day, he went above and beyond by providing window units to keep us comfortable until the repairs could be completed. Thank you again, Michael and ASV of Killeen!

Outstanding service and excellent customer service. My air conditioning unit was having issues working. Temperature was over 100 degrees, i call them and was able to get a technician out the same day. He was was knowledgeable and has expensive years of experience. He was able to diagnose the unit and discover the problem and replace the part. He took time to show me the problem, and explained everything to me. In addition, he provided me with a detailed invoice with video and pictures. I will highly recommend this company

Aire Serv initiated a call for semi annual service. Service tech came early. He did a thorough job and provided feedback including explaining findings. All were friendly, polite, and business-like. Great job by great people. He discovered coolant volume was low, looked for possible leaks, and then added coolant. That last part was very expensive.

I had my my heating and air serviced by Carlos today. He was friendly and professional. Carlos did a great job, and he explained everything he did, and told me me some things I could do to keep my unit running smoothly. He told me also what he found that will need to be done to the unit. Even gave me some prices and broke them all down. I really like Carlos as a technician. Terry Martin (Cedar Park office) has visited us twice and both times gone above and beyond, namely fixing an uncommon issue of an unbalanced mount and when parts were needed he explained thoroughly the reason for repair, cost, and time involved. We have history going back years with Aire Serv of Cedar Park and weve been delighted with the fast response and reasonable pricing.

3rd Update: Condensation drain was clogged and called on a Tuesday evening. Wednesday morning Jack Armstrong with Aire Serv came over and fixed the issue, provided tips to address the issue and ensured I was well informed. Chris and Hez were professional and experienced installer. Their craftsmenship showed through there precision and care while installing our new unit. Ten out of ten do recommend for future installs and/or maintenance.

Aireserv did a good job on our HVAC system as it was not blowing cool air and the air pressure was not as strong as well. Jack Armstrong with Aireserv Killeen came right out and did a complete inspection of our unit and found a leak in the cooling coil that was damaged (13 year old unit). He took detailed pictures and video to show and explain what he found and what was needed to fix the problem. Straight forward information and getting the job done.

The service was outstanding Jack Armstrong took his time with my 90 year old mother and even waited a few extra minutes for me to show up. He fixed the problem and was very professional.

Carlos and Mike came out and fixed the problem in minutes. We spent 3hrs on the phone with vivint setting up our new thermostat & the rep telling us the wrong settings which caused us to go the whole wknd extremely hot. But they came & fixed everything.

I appreciate the quick response. The people who have come in were nice and respectful, but were quick to recommend a new system for me instead of a thorough troubleshoot. I was able to get another opinion on our unit, and was able to clear out a pipe using a shop vac which fixed the problem. We are no longer having issues, but feel that time and money were wasted here.

My HVAC unit went out so I called AirServ to come look at it. To my surprise, I had an issue I didnt even realize I had. Thankfully Carlos found the problem and will be able to get it fixed tomorrow. I needed a whole new system as the house was a rental for years prior to purchasing the home. The owner came to my home from a Home Depot referral and patiently explained several options for my wife and I to choose from. Once we selected the one we wanted, we did unfortunately need to finance the equipment as it was short notice and again we recently purchased the home. We actually were approved and were able to schedule an installation for the following week. It took the installers about 4-5 hours to remove the old and install the new system. They also hauled the old system away, which I wasnt expecting. The one real change for me was going from the simple 1 inch air filters to now a 4 inch filter. It took me some time to realize I didnt have to change the filter every month. Honestly, the cost is roughly the same for either filter and the change intervals. I was impressed with the whole process and have recommended them to several neighbors.

The service I received from this company was great and they did good job. The technician himself explained issues the my AC compared to the other company that came and fixed my AC and added an extra things in my home system that Aire Service of Killeen was explained to me. I will eventually recommend this company to other homeowners to get their Air Conditioning System fix. Their price was reasonable. Everyone in this company are very professional and friendly. They kept me informed of the progress of the equipment that I needed for them to complete the task. They were very concerned about our comfort while waiting for the parts and they were concerned about the comfort of other customers. They come twice a year for maintenance checks, find little problems before they become big problems during the wrong time of year and keep our system running beautifully. I called Aire Serv reporting my heat not working properly. The response was that day. Carlos showed up On Call in 2 hours and did a Great job trouble-shooting the system. Once the problem was identified Blower Motor he had the part replaced and the system working great. Carlos was VERY Professional and once the job was completed he walked me through each step used to determine the problem. Great service, very technically efficient and a Top Notch employee in my opinion. I would highly recommend Aire Serv and Carlos to anyone who wants Great, complete and accurate work done...

I had a new AC system installed by Aire Surv. Not only where they able to install the system a day earlier than agreed but the technicians are respectful, very knowledgeable, and did an all around awesome job. They answered every question I had and explained in detail what the pros and cons of a new versus old system would have been.I can only recommend this company and will use them again when the need arises. I came with an emergency situation. My AC went out completely. It was 95 degrees in my home and I have 2 infants. I explained this to the person on the phone who assured me someone would be coming out for the repair and would give me a call back when they were headed to me. I got no follow up and no response when I called back. My children and I were stuck in the house with no running air in almost 100 degree heat. Very poor customer care.

Brandon was very efficient and professional.He serviced three units. A part was replaced on one unit and the other two were checked out. The service charge and part replacement was very reasonable. I had a good experience with this company. My units are all runningvery well.... keeping the house cool. Thank you Brandon!

We moved into a foreclosed home, soon after the homes air conditioner started to fail. These guys came out, and were straight forward and very curtious. We found out that the old unit was too small for the two story home. We were given options from what we could repair to patch things up(lowest cost) to the recommended replacement of the unit. We asks Chris (owner) to replace the unit. We have never had an issue with the service. Anytime we had a question on anything(how do I work the thermostat?)(How does this second stage work?) Chris personally addressed our concerns. This company goes far beyond the normal service agreements you find on the market. All you have to do is call. I recommend this company to everyone who asks for a good a/c repair service.

Paid for an AP plan which entails them coming out for fall and spring tune up. Ive gotten a letter from them stating they have tried to reach me via phone. Even though I have not received a call from them.I have called them 3 different times to get someone to come out for our tune ups and to actually diagnose another issue we have been having with our 2nd unit(not emergent but still should be taken care of).Everytime I call, the person on the phone is very rude. Cuts me off. Never lets me describe whats going on and just asks for my info and tells me someone will call back and get back to me.I called today and the gentleman on the phone was incredibly rude...in the middle of me talking he would cut me off. Kept essentially saying this wasnt his problem because this is the after hours number and they arent open on weekends only for emergencies. Not a good look to just brush a customer off and give no reassurance that the issue would be cared for.Had great service when they initially came out and repaired our unit but now it seems since we paid for a service plan they no longer care.Not sure if its their after hours people who are incredibly rude on the phone or the actual people that work for the killeen location. Seems like the call board but that doesnt explain why Ive left 3 different messages over 2 months and Ive gotten no response.I used to work for and am close friends with the owner and manager of the Dallas Aire Serv. So I am aware of the standards that are put in place and this is not it.If I dont hear from them in the next week, Ill be speaking with my bank to receive my money back for the AP plan, since I have not received services that I have paid for. I honestly feel scammed.Will update with results after.**Manager called within a few hours to reach out. Said she would check the recordings and got me scheduled.Owner called 3 or 4 days later to touch base and clarification on their answering service. Both owner and manager gave their cell #s for us to reach out directly. Company itself is great. Answering service has a delay as if making overseas call. Both people were helpful and willing to resolve and go over everything. Techs were polite as always when they came out. Seems like since we had communication issues we only got 1 tune up out of the 2 and its expired. Unsure on if we can still get that 2nd one since we never could get through initially. Looks like they had a phone # on file that wasnt associated with the account. Will follow up with them on that later. Overall feeling much better about my experience.**

A/C went out Christmas Day and unfortunately for us it was a hot one this year. We decided to send out a request for a technician to check it out Monday instead of paying for an after hours tech. Went to their website and requested a tech for that following Monday.Come Monday no response so my husband requested an appointment from their website.Same thing.Tuesday I called the number listed on the website and spoke to a CSR that apologized and guaranteed one of their techs would be out to my house that following afternoon.Spoiler alert no one showed up.It was too dang hot to keep waiting on them so I called Ellis Air and they came out that next morning.Now Im receiving multiple marketing emails daily from Aire Serv

Im very satisfied and happy with their service. This was my first time using AireServ of Killeen. They responded to my ac problem the same day I called. This was on a Friday. The service I usually use, couldnt service my ac until Tuesday of the next week and was charging double the service rate fee. AireServ took care of my ac issues, the technician (Mr. Pete), was friendly and professional. He detached my ac problem, made the repairs, my ac is running fine now and the bill price was very reasonable. Yes, I will recommend and use their services for my future ac needs. The Hvac tech did an outstanding job repairing my A/C. He arrived early which was a plus and provided excellent customer service.

I had them install 3 entire units at 3 different location. I even had 3 other units installed from recommendations I made. I signed up for the maintenance program as well. I havent had anyone check my units in months. I call and call and leave messages. I cant get anyone to return my calls. This business is HORRIBLE. Stay Away!!!

DONT use this company if you require someone to get back with you. I wrote this after just one dealing with this business. I should have waited and used them a few times. I called them within thier business hours 3 times but never received a call back from them. I ended up spending much more because of having to call another company to fix my AC issue @ emergency call prices. This company had the gall to say, Sir we dont see how we costs you any money. Below is my original review..... Being a landlord I deal with a fair amount of smallish service business. With Aire Serv Im able to call and forget about it till the end of the day.

Aireserv has serviced my unit twice a year since I purchased it. Have had zero issues for over 7 years.

Had a technician come out to look at AC unit because inside temp was not registering what we wanted house to be at (10 degree different).Technician looked and said it was low on AC coolant. They quoted 1000.00 for repair. With an additional 375.00 to run a leak test.Extremely overpriced. We opted to not use there quote and saved with another company about 800.00

Overall the experience was excellent. They came earlier than what was originally was scheduled by 20 minutes which was awesome and they answered every question I had. Would definitely recommend.

I paid an $89 service fee. Tech told me I needed 4 pounds of freon and would cost $60 a pound plus labor which he said would cost a total of over $400. He said the system had a leak and I could contact the company that installed my system to get that checked out. The tech never went and looked at the inside part of the ac or anything. Why would I spend that much in freon to have it leak out? I declined the freon. After he left, I did a search online and found information on shop vacuuming the drain line. I followed the instructions and my ac has been working great since.

Do not use this company. They were quick to come out and determine that our previous unit was a total loss and have their rep come out and sell us a new one for $7600. By the way, the majority of that is installation costs. They financed us but kept missing appointments made by the office manager herself to come out for us to sign paperwork with her over a period of 2 days. That meant that twice my husband had to find coverage at the hospital and leave work to wait around for her not to show up before she finally sent a technician to get it all signed. Three technicians installed the unit the same day but heres where the story really earned the 1 Star rating over a period of a few months. They unit was installed incorrectly which caused it to flood out the crawl space under the unit, which then caused damage to our insulation, drywall, carpet and padding, and baseboards. $2100 deductible with our insurance company. We had to call their number twice because the first technician didnt show. That was set up through their call center so we let that slide. A few weeks later we notice that the unit is only blowing hot air. Getting a technician out was nearly impossible and after the facility manager argued with us about his technician following protocol by not ringing the doorbell, knocking instead and leaving because it was so loud inside (we have kids) he assumed we werent home. Because thats how knocking works (insert facepalm emoji here). Again, faulty installation was to blame which caused the coolant to leak out. A few days later, the unit started blowing cold and warm air intermittently. Another technician came out and fixed that for us. That was the only visit done right. Then, in April of 2019, a year after we started dealing with the A.C. company from hell, we received an email from the same office manager that kept blowing us off telling us we were entitled to free maintenance visits a couple times a year for a few years. Believe me, the visits Im sure are factored into the ridiculous installation cost. We gave her our availability, she wrote us back about an appointment, the technician cancelled due to the weather saying we would be fit in later. Its been a month and I dont think thats actually going to happen. Ive seen that the owner, (the same snarky guy that sold us the unit and argued about his tech following protocol) responds to some of these reviews. For anyone reading these reviews, this is what actually happened to us. Spanning the period of a few months and 5 different technicians, the same office manager and the same manager. One technician can be a fluke, but an entire staffs worth of mishaps is more than just coincidence. I havent dealt with another company as of yet to recommend but use this company at your own risk and carry a deductible you can afford.

I had two issues. One was an upstairs unit where the fan would not come on. They found the problem in just a few minutes and fixed it.The other problem I had was with a heat pump that would not heat. I had waited weeks for another ac service to get the part but they delayed so much that I asked Aire Serv to verify the problem, order the part and install it. They were able to get the part within a few days. The heating seems to be functioning properly now but the real test will be the next time we plunge into the 20s

Needed to have my ducting checked. They found that a previous company really messed up my attic space. They came over and fixed it, and now my A/C runs less! Im having them back to add insulation up there for those hot Texas summers! Great crew!

The capacitor in our compressor had gone out. It was very miserable in the house. I had called and gotten an answering service. There was some kind of miscommunication between the company and me and it took an hour to get a call back. They apologized about the wait and put us next on the list to have someone come out. Chris answered the call. He was very professional and explained what he was doing and what could be done to fix the problem. The problem is fixed and we are cool once again.

I have had quite a few different companys and technitions come to work on my system. Aire Service by far has been the most professional and our AC technition Peter was outstanding. If you are looking for a professional, reliable, honest and knowledgeable company Aire Service is who you call!

Put in an online request for water heater service, but never received the call back to schedule service. The next day I tried calling them, it rang for awhile then they just hung up the phone. Looking through other’s reviews of this business, it seems to be a very common issue. So I called Wayne Hyde Plumbing instead and they answered right away and scheduled me for a service! Aire Serv replied to my original review saying I needed a plumber and that’s apparently they’re excuse for not contacting me back. So I just edited my review to state that I needed a water heater service/repair, which Air Serv does do according to their website. The Wayne Hyde Plumbing company that is now helping me also does water heaters. I never told Aire Serv I needed a plumber.

We had an issue that was caused by another party, Aire Serve had someone out within the hour to diagnose the issue. Parts were on hand and issues resolved.

Had them come out to do a Comfort tune upAC worked fine before they came out. 6 hours later my house isntcooling and the AC hasnt shut off!!! My electric bill will be $300 or more..I called them, and they said it was a bad capacitor that they noted during the tune up... Um.. IT WORKED just fine before the technician started messing with it. On top of it they arent sending someone out to fix what they broke!They want $205 to replace a $45 part that takes 5 minutes to repair. Umm NO... Why rip people off?

Very unhappy with my experience with this company. Came out July 21st diagnosis compressor. Technician did not report his diagnosis to America home shield. We finally called to find out that it was not even reported after several days. Once it was reported we had to wait several more days just for the compressor part to come in. Once someone was finally able to come out which they didnt come out as promised. My husband took PTO time just to wait around for Noone to show up as scheduled. When two different technicians finally did come out to install the compressor that also needed freon. One of the technicians leaves the other technician to go another job. Now the technician that was left behind not experienced I think because he burned out our circuit board. Now another part had to be ordered. This meant we had to wait several more days. When the technician comes back out it is clear he does not no what he is doing. He had to call someone else to navigate him through it. Nothing wrong with that but someone experienced should have installed the circuit board. Although he tried he clearly didnt know what he was doing. I was afraid for my life because he was working on a gas and electric system. He finally gets it together then he starts messing with our thermostat and I here are loud pop. He has now blew out ours thermostat. So now he goes to his truck to come back with some kind of temporary fix. He installs the temporary thermostat. When he cuts it on it starts to cool, he sets it at 72 degrees. He tells me that he will have to come back with the appropriate thermostat. That the house when you wake up in the morning should be all the way cooled down. He was here at my house from 4pm til 8pm. I was awaken around 6am to find the house warming at 85 degrees in the house. I went to look at the thermostat and the thermostat just falls out the wall. It was not even installed right for a temporary fix you at least want to make sure its installed properly. We had to wait several more days for the same technician to come out. He installs the new thermostat. Now mind you it is now august 9th. He tries to explain to me like Im some idiot..that because the thermostat was not installed properly is the reason why the house didnt stay cool like I installed it myself or something. So he installs it and sets it to 72 degrees tells me its going to take awhile to cool down just like last time. And said he would go outside to look at the unit. At this time Im not feeling it cool like the previous time he came out . I do see him going back and forth to his truck. Im just like what now Lord. When he finally comes back in he tells me there is a leek and all the freon had leaked out from the previous visit. And starts blaming the guy that was out here the first time for not catching the leek the first time. But wait... I thought it was the thermostat. Clearly it was not. With that many eyes out here you would think someone would have caught it. IM VERY UNHAPPY AND AFRAID IM GOING TO COME HOME FROM WORK AND FIND MY CAT DEAD. I pray you can get it right good lard

This company gave me my life and health back and my animals too. Because of bad work being done before and with issues of being gulf war vet I just keep getting sick and sicker as time went along. I had to have them come and just RIP everything out and start over to fix what was wrong. Well worth it.

On July 1, 2018 I requested a bid for a complete HVAC replacement through Home Depot.On July 2 Raul from Aire Serv Killeen arrived and quoted a price. Later that same day he called saying they would do the job for $600 less if I agreed to have it installed this week.On July 5 two young men arrived and removed my old system and began installing the new system.It was clearly written and discussed with Raul previously of what the new system would consist. (new condenser, new evaporator coil, new furnace, new drain line, new thermostat and thermostat wire, new electrical whip, new freon lines)I specifically asked Raul about the new freon lines. He stated it is a new one continuous run from unit to unit, welded at each end.What I noticed the installer doing was welding new copper onto the ends of the old copper lines underneath the house.(I am leaving out other issues for the sake of brevity)The installers eventually welded new copper lines onto the previously welded lines, but in the process of pulling them underneath the house, they were severely kinked in two places.I took photos of these two kinks and texted to Raul. He never responded to my text.I showed the photos to the installers who agreed to cut the kinked sections out and weld in new copper sections.There were a few other issues that occurred, or rather didnt occur during this installation.The system currently is working well.I would not reccomend this company, but if you do use them, you should probably watch closely as to what is actually being done, or not being done.
