We have a contract through America Homeshield in which Sears Appliance Repair is vendor. We had parts already sent to our home for a January 25, 2025 service with an 8am-5pm service window. At 4:45pm we got a text to reschedule. The first available appointment was February 3, 2025 from 8am-5pm. At 11:45am I got a text that I needed to reschedule, again for a 8am-5pm window. Upon calling, I was told “a technician was not going to be in my area.” When I asked about why a technician is not in an area he was scheduled to work in, I was told one was unavailable. When I asked for a guarantee one would be in my service area on the third scheduled day, I was told they were sorry for the inconvenience but I needed to choose a third scheduled service.This would be my third day taking off of work, because a SCHEDULED service doesn’t have a service tech in my area.We now are having to work with another vendor. This is unacceptable!
Parts were ordered and shipped to my house prior to the technician arriving. Technician was on time, installed the parts. My only concern was that he pulled the dishwasher out prior to unplugging it, and had almost left prior to me realizing I had no power. I caught him and he came back in and assisted me with untangling the power cord from underneath and ensured it was operating prior to him leaving.Your technician Dquarius was professional and courteous, but seemed to be in a hurry. So much as he didn’t replace the bottom piece correctly!
My technician was absolutely the best. He knew his trade. He diagnosed the issue and had the heat restored in less than 30 minutes. He also took the time to explain step by step what he was doing..He was awesome with a capital A.
Very appreciative of Sears Appliance Repair for sending such a knowledgeable and professional repairman. It didnt take Mark S. long to zero in on the problem and have it fixed quickly. So very satisfied with my 1st experience with Sears Appliance Repair. Will definitely call them again should I need any further appliance repairs.
The repairman said the condenser went up and it would cost $1000 to replace. That is ridiculous! Why would anyone pay that much to fix an older refrigerator? They can buy a new one for not much more. Or a used one for under a few hundred. I will not use Sears, anymore. $139 wasted.

If I could I would give them a 0. He never gave his name or phone number. He came and assessed my inoperable ice maker. He said he had to order parts from Amazon and they would be delivered to me. I had no way to contact him and get updates. I contacted the customer serve and got the run around transferred to several different departments but no help. Finally got a notice the parts had been delivered weeks ago. He sent me a photo showing the parts but it was not my house. I sent him a photo showing my house had a white door while the photo showing delivery the door was dark wood. Customer service said they would contact amazon and see if the can retrieve the part but nothing ever happened. Im done with it.
If I could give this service -5 stars I would! I first had an appointment for someone to come out and fix my washer. They instantly changed the date without informing me. Then, 3 hours into the time window they were supposed to come out, they changed it again! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! IT IS A SCAM AND YOUR APPLIANCES WILL NEVER GET FIXED!
The technician was great. However your inability to get my apartment number corrrcted in your system caused me a lot of time snd effort and your sites were not helpfulNew post 10/4/2024Today new parts and my washer is still not spinning after a wash load. I am now 5 months into machine not working 4 parts put in over this time and multiple delays due to waiting for an appointment having him come order parts makes new appointment find out parts in I run a load of clothes report it still not working and we go through the whole process again 5 months no washer in service ! I am not happy take the 5 stars down !!!!
Your service man came out told us we needed a part and that he was going to bring someone with him which he did. They arrived very late. Told me they were hot from having to work in a garage at the prior appointment. They went into the laundry room told me they had to take the dryer down instead of taking the dryer out. They unplugged the vent and did not hook it up. He told me that it was impossible and he couldn’t complete the job. I’m very unsatisfied. He didn’t even leave the part that he was supposed to replace. Very dissatisfied with the service we got now my son is gonna have to try to figure out how to put the dryer vent back on the dryer. I Did call choice warranty, And advise them of this situation they’re going to have somebody else come out. I will not have to pay a service call because of this issue. I’m very dissatisfied with Sears and disappointment.
Technician Mohamed, wasn’t eager to find the cause of the problem. Tenant had to ask him to get the part needed to resolve the issue he stated was the problem. He was in a hurry, a little rude and tried to add a service for $75 that had been done previously on my unit.
My experience today, July 2,was rather pleasant. Technician Frank Y explained the issue we were having with our microwave. He first called me and told me how long it was going to be before he got to our house. He was pretty accurate. Overall, I was pleased today with our experience.
I was told by the prior technician that the job would be done after 1pm, I took a half day only to find out that the technician tried to come out at 10:00am, I stated that I could be home in 10 min but he decided to leave for another job and marked the job as completed. I had to contact the manufacturer agian to start the process all over again.
Technician checked the unit added Freon and said my system is old. He did not take the time to find a solution and told me to make another service call if needed. Not a happy customer.
Although the repairs were made, the technician left the work area messy and left parts from the dish washer un-installed and sitting inside the dish washer. This is totally unacceptable.
Never showed up. I waited two week and lost all my product. Twist they said they were coming and did not. I will ask Choice Insurance to never use Sears again and your service tech should be fired. Not reliable and un responsible. My rating to them would be unsatisfactory.Nelson Torres ,

The tech that came over barely did anything we told him what was wrong with it, with our dishwasher and he dung want to look at the motherboard he turn it on worked for a little bit and then left, now it stop working again.
The Sears appliance store service center is backed up. I waited weeks until it was fixed. The replacement part was sent to my home. The technician was very knowledgeable, so, he fixed my whirlpool refrigerator in less then 30 minutes. Explained that the part was upngraded by Whirlpool. Thank God, I had a Lowes warranty, cost would have been on me.
The repairman was very nice. He fixed the washer and showed me what had gone wrong with the malfunctioning part. Glad to have a working washing machine again. The tech that diagnosed the problem was also very helpful.
The technicians were awesome! My complaint is that it took so long to get them back out to the house to put the parts in. I had an appointment within the week and for some reason that appointment was cancelled and trying to get the appointment rescheduled was a pain in the neck. It ended up taking almost 3 weeks in total to get my washer fixed.

Technicians left trash for us throw. When we asked why they weren’t taking the trash, they stated it’s not Sears responsibility which is unacceptable.This is unacceptable, Sears must take trash after repair is complete 😡
I am so upset with these people. I have been without a freezer and fridge for well over a month they came and checked it and ordered the part the beggining of January and scheduled the date to come to put it in but the day of the appointment I got a message from an automated message that it was changed to 2/22 now they changed it again to March 5th. I signed up for Sears home warrenty but I am seriously not happy with there performance so far. I would really love to speak to a human.
If this was based on customer service it would be 5 Stars b/c they successful completed the job the first time. If this was based on customer experience I would rate them 3 Stars b/c they didnt clean up the mess they made; I had to tell them to throw the old parts in the trash on their way out. I avg. the rating to 3.5 rounded up.
On the first attempt, instead of using the doorbell, the tech knocked softly three times. I have a 3600 sq. Foot house and my office in the back. He waited 39 sec without a repeat knock and left (I have the video).On the second attempt, I worked from the living room and heard the soft knocks. The tech came in, checked to see if the unit was receiving power, and then attempted to remove the unit. After about 3 min, he said it was glued in, and I have to hire someone to remove it first, then reschedule and leave. I looked under the counter and plan as day it’s two brackets with a screw. I removed the unit in less than 1 minute with my drill. I called Sears to see if he could come back today because it is the holidays, and I need my cooktop. They said they would do an emergency dispatch and have him come back. That was a lie.Final attempt, the tech came a week later, looked at the unit, and said there was no model number on it, so it had to be replaced. They did not open it to look for any numbers on a circuit board. I will never go with Sears again.

Even though he ran diagnostic tests and found nothing wrong, he was very nice and explained what he was doing. I need to run a few loads and if the problem still exists I am to call in again.
I am so impressed with sears service. I live way out. Don’t receive texts or calls so. Missed appt due to communication failure. Sears never gave up. Issued many appts when one finally made it through. Then Thomas shows up and is just a lovely intelligent man.Just hope I get to have him come next time I have a problem. Thanks Rox Close

Thank you, James W. He informed me that the Whirlpool oven door couldnt be replaced based on AHS warranty policy but fixed the loose oven handle and the oven front glass/siding that was separated from the oven door in 10 mins. I appreciate your service!
We have had the Sears Master Protection Agreement for years, and we have had many problems, including long waits for service and parts. Most recently, after seven times that techs worked on our refrigerator, it still has no ice or water. I would not recommend any Sears Extended warranties. We have been lied to many times by the agents who set up the repairs, and Im not sure the technicians can actually fix appliances.

I love to see an older silver hair tech show up that has decades of experience. Although they couldn’t fix my washing machine economically, I sincerely appreciated the assessment and recommendation on the next one.
Problem not fixed with my dishwasher. Keep getting a Failure to Drain code. Cleaned filter and said that was it. Next cycle after tech left and problem was right back.

They claim that you will get back your diagnostic fee of 129 plus tax if you accept the job and they will apply it towards the repair cost. Our heating element went out on our dryer and the tech quoted us an estimate that is about five or six times the cost that others have quoted in the area. Not to mention the estimate that he quoted is worth more than the machine was worth five years ago when purchased brand new!!!! I feel like it was a bait and switch. Found an email address online and have not received any type of response. Needless to say, we did not use the service because this is highway robbery and price gouging.
