Shane responded to a drain line being backed up at my house promptly, he went the extra mile to not only clean the drains completely out but wash the coils and completely service the AC unit. Id recommend Chill AC to anyone with issues with their system and will continue to use this company in the future. The cost was a fraction to what most places charge. Shane was exceptional and seemed to genuinely want to help people out. Thanks again for the service and conversation Shane.

I called for an issue with my refrigerator. Shane stated that he would come out at 4pm. He did not show until 5:15. He looked at my refrigerator and said it was the compressor. He was not sure how much would cost and needed to do some research. He said he would contact me the next day. I heard nothing from him. Called multiple times with no response. I am so lucky I did not pay him.

I called Chill Air on Saturday afternoon due to AC issues. It was 105° outside and 88° inside my home.Mr. Shane was polite and professional on the phone. He said he was on a current call and had a few more residental calls but would text when he was on the way. I was nervous it would be late and he wouldnt show up so I texted to confirm he was still coming. He is a man of his word.Mr. Shane arrived asked a few questions then did checks inside and outside of my home. I am so grateful that he showed me basic homeowner maintenance of my AC unit.Mr. Shane didnt rip me off with a charge for this simple fix. He actually decided not to charge his usual diagnostic fee. He told me if the fix isnt working to let him know and he can come back out tomorrow without additional after hours/weekend fees.Mr. Shane was not only professional but he was honest and helpful ensuring he explained what was going on and what I should look for. I would use his company again if needed and I would highly recommend his company to anyone needing HVAC work.

My furnace quit blowing heat unexpectedly 😔. Tried to call two companies one never answered The phone! The other didnt show up. Got a recommendation from a friend to call Chill Air,,,Shan answered the phone and was able to get to me within 2 hours! Then actually showed up on time. Took care of my furnace issue and the customer service was awesome! If you need heat or air service this Is Definitely the company to call to get you straight! Issues with older model A/C. Called Mr. Shane which in turn responded without hesitation. Informed me could come out within hour or so. Showed up timely, and after assessing job did an excellent job in completing task. Friendly, polite and very professional. Will definitely use his service again , and hopefully work together in obtaining new system. This type of professionalism is hard to come by these days. Hubs and I are happy campers!! Highly recommend!!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Shane was the only technician I called who didn’t attempt to schedule my emergency service call the following day. He promised to not go home until he had our A/C working properly. In addition, his service fee was over $100 less than most competitors. Upon arrival, Shane was friendly and professional. He quickly diagnosed the issue, along with sharing a few preventative maintenance tips with me. Lastly, Shane completed the job, shook my hand and said “ free of charge”!!! I was blown away by his generosity… There’s no doubt who will be on speed dial for all my HVAC issue in the future.

First off, I want to begin with I have had many technicians come through my house and I have never met anyone I can confidently trust not to screw us over or provide less quality work for a quick buck. Additionally, Shane is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Shane provides the best quality of business from the moment he answers the phone until the end of a project.With this said, I have called Shane before when he owned a different company. His service was efficient and effective at a wonderful cost. Granted this was 3-4 years ago, and we happen stance called Chill Air and my husband immediately recognized him. We’re in a new home and encountering different issues. So this review will come in numerous phases.Phase 1: I called a few companies today around 530 pm. As expected, it’s “emergency hours” which costs more or we could have made an appointment to have our serviced. So, we would wait days living in a hellish 79 degree home just to be seen. By happen chance, I called Shane and he amazingly went out of his way to come to my house at 8 pm in a none emergency call. He spotted an issue within 30 minutes and provided phenomenal cost effective solutions to ensure our house was cooler than ir felt last year. Which is surprising!He was kind, very considerate, one of the most competent technicians I have ever hired, reliable and extremely trustworthy. I had a technician come to my house two weeks ago for the same issue and they didn’t even spot the same issues. Again, less quality of service for a quick buck. With Shane, it’s the opposite. He gives the best quality of service for an extremely generous price.Again, this is phase one. The is a multi-project review. I’m not one to write reviews, but this man has earned my effort and my business. He is now my permanent technician for as long as he is in service! Highly recommended!

Shane came to my house at 3:30 in the middle of the night to check my ac out that stopped blowing cold air when nobody else would. Very friendly. If I need my ac serviced again in the future I will definitely be calling him again.

My AC stopped cooling during 100+ weather and I wasnt able to call to get it fixed until after 5pm on a Saturday, but Shane answered my call and got Brandon to come over as soon as he was able to fix my AC same day so my pup and I could escape the heat and get a good nights rest. They were amazing and really friendly! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone; 10/10 service!

Shane was amazing it was 9pm on a Sunday night and I called and immediately he picked up and in 11 minutes was at my housing fixing multiple issues with my AC unit. He was able to get it fixed and we now have cold ac! TY

Shane was very polite and professional when we called with an emergency repair need. He saw us same day despite the afternoon call, was there when he said he would be, gave a courtesy eta call, and came prepared with everything he thought he could need based on the complaint to streamline the repair. Called have my AC unit repaired they said 10:00am the next day didnt show up till 2pm. Unit was never fix but were told to give it a few hours and it would kick in. Woke up the next morning it was 95°. Called Shane said he would send someone out no show, Called him back no show, Called again no answer but Im out Over $600! Very unprofessional and would never recommend this business to anyone.

Absolutely amazing! Called super late at night since my A/C stopped cooling and I was worried about my baby and he quickly responded and made it to my home, ran another diagnostic since I had someone check it earlier! He realized it was misdiagnosed by the prior company and explained the process through for me! Could not ask for a better company to do this repair! Will definitely contact again if I ever need repairs/maintenance!

I noticed my AC quit blowing cold air. Called and within 30 minutes Shane showed up and got the outside unit running quickly. His price was excellent. Highly recommend and will definitely use again if I have any other troubles with my unit.

Our plumber found a leak in our AC when installing a softener. Shane from Chill Air showed up very quickly for same day service! His price was reasonable and he went above and beyond to explain what went wrong, how he fixed it, and how we can mitigate further damage. Very appreciative, and will be using him again.

Shane called after requesting a quote, gave a very reasonable quote. He was able to setup appointment for the next morning, finished the refrigerator repair in less than 2 hours. He even check another appliance to see what was causing its issues and was able to fix one and will schedule the other with him at a later date. Awesome service, very professional, great rates, and would definitely recommend to anyone/everyone.

Shane helped us with our ac when it stopped working all of the sudden. He came out same day and began troubleshooting. It ended up being a costly fix but Shane was super respectful and kind about the whole situation. He communicated with us the whole way and was very transparent. I’d recommend this company to anyone needing HVAC services! They’ve gotten us as a customer as long as we live in Killeen.

I did not have AC for four days in my house. My thermostat went to 96°. I called my rental company. They stated no one wouldn’t be able to come out till the 24th. I’ve googled. Chill air and he was amazing. My AC works perfect if it ever happens again, I will surely call him.

I called CHILL Air to get pricing and when Shane answered he was very polite and sympathetic to our situation. I called for a recharge and told him about the problem we experienced that same day with the AC unit. He got us scheduled the same day and at a very reasonable price. He replaced a capacitor that was burnt up and on its last legs and recharged my system with in an hour. He was very professional and efficient. He even took the time to come in and make sure the temps had lowered. Even though the price went up due to the capacitor being burned up, it still was very affordable. I will be suggesting CHILL Air to family and friends in the future and they are definitely my go to HVAC service provider from now on.

Excellent: Shane came out exactly when he said he would. He fixed the AC and sent me pics so I could see what he had done. He was pleasant to communicate with. The cost was very reasonable. I would certainly recommend him. Ive recommended him to a neighbor and my daughter!

I have had 1of 2 problems fixed by Chill Air. The first time it was the capacitor that went out on a Saturday. Upcharge because it was late in the afternoon on a Saturday, and I could not go get the part. Seemed reasonable. The second time ( about a month later) , my ac started making a clanking noise from the inside unit. We again called Chill Air. He said he would be here at 10am, but did not show up until 4pm) ( I tried to call several times and he would not answer) When he finally got here, he was not sure what the noise was and recommended we replace the blower fan. Quoted me $370 for parts and labor. I agreed, Took about 30-45 minutes to fix. The ac was still making the noise. I ended up being charged $419 with no explanation. I have been trying to call for several days to tell him the sound is worse, and he will not answer the phone. The only time someone did answer they screamed GD MFer! and hung up. So VERY unprofessional. Replaces unnecessary parts, and does not fix what is wrong with the a.c. So, i am out $419, and now have to call someone else out to fix what he was supposed to. DO NOT TRUST CHILL AIR! UNPROFESSIONAL. WASTE OF MONEY. NOT RELIABLE!

They are nice until they get your money. They didnt fix my air, they didnt give me a receipt and they refused to answer my calls and text when I tried to tell them the air was still not working! When I called from another phone to ask what was going on, they had the nerve to have an attitude with me as if they werent the shiesty, fast talking, slick, manipulative people who were avoiding my calls because they didnt fix my air. They said they would come back out on Tuesday, that was last week. They NEVER showed up or called and its been a week! I wouldnt use this company again if it were the last HVAC company in the state! I would pay to fly another company in, parts and all!

My A/C broke in the middle of the night, called CHILL Air , talk to Shane very professional. Explain the issue I was having , Shane made it out to my home with in an hr. Only A/C repairman I could find willing to como out in the middle of the night to fix my A/C. Will definitely be the AC repair company I use for any A/C service in the future. I called Shane the owner late last night, my heater went out, he was able to come out and get me fixed up on the spot, he didnt try to convince me it wasnt something it wasnt. He simply identified the issue and showed me as he worked and then fixed it. I will definitely be calling him anytime I have issues in the future.

We called CHILL AIR based on the reviews that we read here in Google. Unfortunately, our experience with CHILL Air didn’t end well. We had to release Chill Air from our claim paying $1208.34 with no working air conditioner. Our unit from outside stopped working on 8/12/22 and when he came and evaluated the system. He suggested that we needed a new defrost board, replace a rusted filter drier, and to repair a leak not by refrigerant chamber. In the end we were billed for those three items plus a new thermostat that we had no issues before hand but was blown out as he triggered something on the outside unit. A new thermostat was installed by him but is not working due to him dropping the thermostat in my presence. Also, A New transformer which initially wasn’t needed was added, and refrigerant that wasn’t filled up due to technician puncturing a hole and we were charged for. Mr. Adam Claimed that we turned off the unit before he could refill it. This isn’t true. But in the end he still charged us for it. The Wiring was all messed up and he switched out things that didn’t need to be switched out. We had to hire new company to fix our air conditioner to prevent any further damage by chill air. The other company successfully fixed it immediately. Where as, chill air took 5 days with no success. I sent a text to the owner on 8/18/2022 from Chill Air to request receipt for thermostat so that we can go and get a new one and a refund for the 3 lbs of refrigerant that was billed to us yet we didn’t receive it. He claimed I was attacking him on a personal level and I reiterated that it wasn’t a personal attack but that were wanting those two things in order to move forward. I was graceful and very precise as to what I believe was true and exact as to what happen. I have documentation from the other company that they needed to rewire the system in order to proceed with the repair. In the end what we really needed was a fan motor. We specifically told Chill Air when they arrived that the unit from outside stopped working. One thing led to another and we ended up with a big bill with no working a/c. I told Mr. Adam that we were lead to believe that we were going to hire a reliable contractor. My husband and I along with Chill Air agreed that it was best that he quit working on our unit because we were afraid of any further damage and he had zero success in repairing it. I was reluctant to put out a review but I wanted to prevent another person going through what we dealt with. We dealt with Mr. Adam for 5 days and on the 4th and 5th day we realized that we were probably not going to get our unit up and running based on what we were seeing and dealing with. The last two texts from Mr. Adam I received was this-(9:51am 8/18/22)I never at any point said I didnt like to work on your type of AC you making things up now and seriously about to piss me off with whatever narcissistic gas lighting your attempting you are a grown woman start acting like it(9:52am 8/18/2022)You are definitely making this personal, I think it best if yoh dont contact me againI didn’t contact him again by text but We are still waiting for the receipt and the refund for refrigerant. Chill Air was given approval for three things and he never mentioned that he was going to replace anything else that would be charged to us.ATTENTION8/20/2022 -Update and continuation for review. The response that Chill Air gave to my initial comment is not correct. I only pray that people do not fall for it and truly think twice before they reach out to this company. The thermostat is not working that he installed and we had to buy another one to get our unit working. If you notice in his reply. Not once did he mention to offer to give us the receipt in order for us to exchange for a new one. Plus the refund for the refrigerant wasn’t mentioned either. A business Can not strive on lies and false accusations. Just do the right thing and give us the receipt and give us our refund for refrigerant that we didn’t get.

Shane is very professional and knowledgeable at what he does. He was able to troubleshoot and fix the issue quickly. I would highly recommend calling him for ALL HVAC issues. His professional experience and quick response is second to none.

That company has no word since he came to check my unit and it was frozen and he told me that he would come back in 1 hour to check the unit, before he left he told me that his recommendation was to change the entire unit for almost 7,000 but he never returned to our home, did not answer calls or messages. The next day I contacted another company and in less than 1 hour they managed to fix it without having to buy a new unit. I will never recommend it

I can’t recommend them more highly. They came out in an emergency on a Saturday night in 100 degree weather, had all the parts they needed on the truck, were efficient, professional, and all at a very reasonable price. Will be using them as my hvac service.

Very impressed with their services. Chill Air was able to replace the smaller failed component rather than my entire blower motor. He saved me a fortune and had it all fixed by the following day. I will definitely be using their services again.

Shane and Brandon went out of there way to help me and my kids tonight and it meant more to me than he will ever know. I moved into a real fixer upper and they said the ac didn’t work so I called a guy he came and charged me a ridiculous amount of money and didn’t fix it. I called Shane on Friday after I came home to work and it was 90 degrees in my house with my teenagers at home and we went out fo town due to a family emergency so it wasn’t pertinent but today when I got off he came and spent almost 6 hours with another gentleman named Shane. They knew after the last guys charged me an arm and a leg that I couldn’t afford a lot and was only asking them to do what they could for the amount of money I had and if it was something more I’d find a way to take care of it later but they stayed and worked and made sure everything that could go wrong didn’t go wrong. I had a terrible day and honestly have had a terrible month where everything that could go wrong did go wrong so them staying to make sure that didn’t happen meant the world to me. I was thinking about how terrible things have been and about ready to just accept that and these gentleman came and honestly made my month and reminded me that some people are good and kind and helpful and they do what they can for people. I sat here and cried and felt grateful and appreciative of all of the things that can go right and a working AC. Thank you Shane and Brandon you made this moms heart happy and joyful
