The absolute BEST A/C company!! Had been dealing with another company for six months and they just kept jerking me around and charging outrageous prices but never fixing anything. Thank goodness for K&R Heating and Cooling! They know their stuff even on high end units with variable speed and dual compressors. So thankful I found them and highly recommend!

K&R has done multiple jobs for me and they are the utmost professional company. Kyler and his technicians always do what they say they are going to do and are just pleasant people to do business with. I would rehire them without question.

Called at 8/830am about my mom’s AC not working. By 1130am, a tech was out and already had the unit repaired at an affordable price. Was honest and straightforward about the repairs and didn’t try to hook in other sales or other work that weren’t necessary. Professional and quality. Would recommend to anyone in the area in a heartbeat

K&R were professional and efficient during the installation of our AC and have responded to any questions we have had.

Greg is a very courteous and professional gentleman. And the whole company is fantastic and it feels so good to have a company that you feel comfortable with to be able to keep your heating and air conditioning going. Oh yes and I forgot to say to be honest.

K&R was recommended by a friend who used to do AC work. They replaced the compressor in the blazing sun on a 101° day and were great 👍 they did excellent work and were polite and professional the whole time. I needed them to come back to check it because it seemed to work hard. Because the house was so hot inside it was hard to get accurate readings. They sent someone else and he was just as good and polite. Excellent service and people and reasonable prices. I will highly recommend to anyone.

My AC went out on a Saturday in this record breaking heat. I called first thing Monday morning and they got me scheduled right away. They were kind and understood how urgent it was to get it fixed. Draven came out at 8am the next day and walked me through the entire process. He was very considerate and helpful. He showed me what was wrong with the unit and promptly fixed it. Then checked the lines and serviced them to prevent any future problems this summer.Great overall experience. I won’t use any other service in the Hill Country. They are the best.

I called at 3:30 PM on a Friday afternoon with little hope of getting a tech to fix my AC system, but K&Rs dispatcher found a tech, and had them assigned to my call with a 4:30 scheduled arrival. Ben arrived on time, was clean, courteous, and prepared. He was methodical, communicative, and told me why he was doing what he was doing. He diagnosed the problem quickly, fetched a part from the shop, and we were cooling again by 5:45PM. Im very impressed with K&R and with Ben. Thanks!

We have been using K & R for 3 years and they have always been prompt and professional. Just had a new Trane HVAC installed and have been very pleased with the cost, installation (Will & Ben) and most of all how well the unit is keeping the house comfortable.

We returned to our home on a Saturday after being gone for 5 days to find our air conditioner not running. called the service phone listed and less than 4 hrs later we had the air conditioner repaired and house cooling. very efficient and kind repair man.

These guys responded quickly and were always kind and respectful on the phone and in person. The technician came out on a 95 degree summer day to fix our A/C and got it back up and running in no time. He replaced a simple part, tuned up our other unit, and the invoice was WAAAY less than expected. I highly recommend this company, especially if you need someone fact and reliable.

Not only do they respond QUICKLY and professionally to service calls (unlike some of the older AC companies around Kerrville who are very rude) but they are HONEST and do not overcharge or do unnecessary work. I highly recommend this company, they do it RIGHT the FIRST time! I will never do business with the old local companies ever again!!! Came out on a holiday weekend and got the ac going, then came back on Tuesday to finish repairs. Charges were fair and reasonable for the work needed to repair the system. Will use K&R heating & cooling as my ac/heating system maintenance in the future. Very pleased with service. Prices were reasonable and work was done in an efficient and timely manner.

I have found the K&R team to be reliable & communicative. They worked on a unit that I sent them out to take care of. Its been a few months and it is still working great! Even if you dont need to have your HVAC worked on, stop by their facility buy some of the air filters that they stock. They are reasonably priced and are better than the ones that you can get at the boxed stores locally!

Regan and the team got my 82 year old mothers HVAC replaced within a day. They also helped her with product registration and filing for the KPUB energy rebate. She was uncomfortable using the new thermostat, so they spent extra time helping her learn how to use it. Great service, very patient and helpful!

Called them this morning about our ac going down yesterday. Got a call back quickly with a scheduled time. AC was quickly repaired and now were up and running already. The service tech was friendly as well as very professional. Service charges were very reasonable. Was not familiar with K&R before but they will be my go to HVAC servicer from now on. I would recommend them to anyone.

Beyond impressed. He was thorough, honest and helpful. The other company went straight to need to replace and we can’t get it operating until you figure out how much you wanna spend. K&R came in with options and got it running. He understood that we needed quality options and gave them to us.

Our AC unit was not working properly. I called and talked to Regan and told him about the problems we were having. A crew was sent out the next day, found the problem and ordered the part. Due to Covid, process of getting the part was slower but it was no fault of K&C. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable staying in the house until the part came in and were able to fix it. The crew was outstanding, professional and made sure we were taken care of. I would recommend K&R Heating and Cooling to anyone in need of their services and they will be my go to AC/Heating company from now on. Thank you so much.

The team does a great job of taking care of our air-conditioners and heaters during the annual maintenance checks. K&R just offered a dryer vent clean-out which I had them do and now the dryer works much better. Thank you for all you do to keep my equipment working properly.

Long story short. Bad experience tech came out on Monday mis diagnosed problem. Then came out 3 more times. Total of 4 times in 5 days and no results ! Each time failed to fix problem Then once again he is off to the next service call I am stuck another day with no AC @ 80 degrees. Got fed a bunch of excuses and I will have no AC over the weekend. One small relay switch and hosts of incompetence. Explained to the dispatcher to ask the owner if I was his Grandma would he leave me to suffer in the heat. No response from the so called Christian !

Had two HVAC air purification systems installed as well as cleaning of air handler units. Very professional, prompt, returned calls, showed up on time, and performed excellent work. What more could you ask for ? Would 100% use again. Thank you to the owner and the crew. Keep it upUpdate: About 18 months later, my father had an HVAC failure. He attempted to use a different company and the problem was misdiagnosed with parts weeks away. My father is elderly and was having health problems due to being without air conditioning. K&R was able to help us out ASAP, correctly diagnose the issue, and found a part locally. Everything was resolved within 3-4 days which is about as fast as you could hope for. 100% satisfied once again !
