If you get assigned this company through your warranty company, do yourself a favor and immediately ask to be assigned someone else. They are absolutely horrible! I put in a service request June 14 and it was July 13th before they finally completed the replacement on my ac. They do not answer phone calls, texts, or emails. It’s impossible to communicate with them which is very unprofessional. They did not communicate exactly what the issue was with my unit and what exactly the repair was going to consist of. They refused to send me an invoice showing what I was paying for until AFTER I had paid the $2000 they wanted. Even after paying they still only sent an invoice with literally no details on what I paid for. Just the total amount I paid. I wasn’t given updates on what was going on or what work they needed to do. I had to call my warranty company and get them to contact the contractor. On their first visit, I was told my refrigerant was low and that more had been added. Tech was literally here all of 3 minutes and didn’t check anything inside. Had a different company come out and was told my refrigerant was in fact still really low and the previous tech probably didn’t add any (especially since it uses the older r22 or whatever). Which made sense because it still was not working properly and I suspected there was a leak somewhere (which was later confirmed and the Royal tech should have known had he done his job the first time)Anyways, it was a horrible experience and after they finally did the repairs they left my attic entrance door all torn up. I assume they had to take it apart to get the parts up there but they just left everything all ripped apart when they were done and have not contacted me back about getting it fixed. Definitely won’t be doing business with them again.
Just got cussed out by the service repair technician, and he left my machine disassembled.Edit: 6/22/22 Found out today from the technicians at hart ac that if it had rained my unit would have been toasted due to the negligence of Royal AC.I will be making a complaint with the better business bureau as well.Also, as if not to add insult to injury, the front desk girl told me on multiple accounts that a manager would call me but never would. We called back 6 different times to resolve the issue with them, and all they did was send a fake diagnosis to our home warranty company instead of calling us back. Do not trust this shady company.
This company should be ashamed of themselves my brother is an assistant living and when I went to go visit him I saw that they had towels on the floor next to the AC units you all have been horrible to them theyve been waiting on repairs with no luck and getting left and right excuses. They should be reported for negligence. Dont trust companys that make helpless assisted living facilities wait!
Francisco is a pro. He was very reassuring with his diagnostics and I really appreciated his personality and demeanor. Royal has always been great to us. The communication with the dispatch and everyone was also good, like getting text updates and everything. On time too.
The technicians were both GREAT. The office staff and call back and communication was poor. The office never got back to us to explain what we were having done before the work was done, the cost of it all and how long it would take for parts to come in. I tried calling 4 or 5 times and no way to leave a message. We waited 2 weeks and finally the warranty people got in touch with them. I have asked for an itemized list of work done and still have not heard back. Once we get that we will pay for services. Not good communication but the technicians are AMAZING and do GREAT work!
This was the company our home warranty sent to repair our unit. Initially the tech was very friendly and appeared he knew what he was doing. He added a quick start to my unit. Next day the quick start was melting down and almost caught on fire. Ruined the capacitor so we called the warranty company to get them back out to fix our unit correctly. Instead, they came out and charged us another $75 trip charge. This is not the warranty company doing this, as the warranty company is billed by Royal AC. Tried to call them and the phone number goes striaght to voicemail and the voicemail is full so cant leave a message.Would not recommend!
We had to use Royal Air because they were chosen by the home warranty that we use. They installed a new AC but will not get back to us with what they installed and the warranty information. I have called, emailed and texted about 10 times since August trying to simply get an invoice with details on what they installed. They will not even acknowledge that my contact attempts. They say their preferred method of contact is text, and they did reply to this text when planning the service visit but will not reply after that. I asked them one last time to get back to me or I would begin to give them bad reviews on social media. So, here we go.
I had no choice but to use Royal AC through my home warranty. They wouldnt give me a time frame for service except for 10am-5pm. When the technician arrived, I answered the door and he just walked right in my house, uninvited! The AC unit was outside! About 10 minutes later he just walked in the front door without knocking. He kept following me around, less than 2 feet apart. He said I needed a new AC unit. I had to call my home warranty every day for 4 days to try and get an update. Turns out that Royal was supposed to send me information on replacement or buyout. I called Royal who said they sent it, but they did not. Not email, not text, not phone call. And no it wasnt in spam either. Then they sent me a list of items that home warranty wont pay for. $1,150!!!! More than half the price of the very low end AC unit they suggested as a replacement. Total scam.
TL;DR: I never got the Freon that I paid forOriginal review:This company is a SCAM! STAY AWAY!!! They came to my house to repair both the upstairs and down stairs ac units. They claimed to wash the system, coils, and that he had put in Freon into both systems. This man did not see the upstairs ac unit, he only looked at the thermostat. Nor did he look at the outdoor units. Thank god for security cameras! We have submitted a claim with company only to be told that this company never works with home choice warranty however we have proof and confirmation that they do. I will attempting to attach my invoice.Updated review: The company has reached out promptly and in a timely manner however, we have on our camera that the technician did not put Freon in the machine. I wish no ill will upon the people who are employed here who do their job honestly. I am frustrated. While still I wouldn’t recommend this company, I apologize for calling Royal Ac a scam. The main issue wasn’t that the unit wasn’t working properly after they left (they got the unit up n running, however it wasn’t running properly) , the issue is that they tacked on extra service with out following through. While we did authorize the Freon to be put in, they never put in the Freon. Also notice that in the response of the owner, he completely omits the Freon portion. (I’m just frustrated that I didn’t receive all the services that I paid for)If I didn’t have such a negative experience, I would recommend this company for ONLY maintenance and not repairs.
The company and technician were fantastic! We had a technician come out within 24 hours of calling. The Royal AC technician diagnosed and fixed the problem (that another company had previously missed and we had been waiting on for 2 weeks, with no AC) within 24 hours! He was friendly, efficient, very knowledgeable and trustworthy! I will recommend them to everyone!
Ronnie did an excellent job of diagnosing and repairing our A/C timely. We use a home warranty company and dont typically have a choice on company. The first business day I sent a repair notice, I was given a call and made an appt for the next morning. Ronnie arrived promptly. He called in the afternoon to tell us he had found the part and would be at our house the next morning (on a holiday). He arrived in the a.m. and repaired our A/C in no time. Excellent service and I would highly recommend them!!
Royal Air was hired to fix my AC through my home warranty plan. The tech arrived after the scheduled window timeframe and at the end of the day. I was home all day waiting. After a couple of hours he said the blower motor needed to be replaced and that they need to call the home warranty plan for approval. The tech said I will hear back on Tuesday 7/5 since Monday was a holiday. No call on Monday and through Friday a week later. I called the office numerous times and voicemail mailbox was full. I started texting the number with the original appt time and the replies I received was one that said “ sorry no update” and “we are waiting on the warranty co. and I will have the tech call you”. Never received a call. Home warranty co. said Royal Air never turned in service report. My AC is completely torn apart and it’s 105 here and now waiting for a new AC co. to come on Tuesday. To this day a week later, Royal has still not called me.
We lost our AC condenser on a Friday afternoon during 100 degree heat. A couple hours later it was over 90 degrees in our home. We called our warranty company, who reached out to Royal Air, telling them we had an AC emergency.Royal Air did not seem to care at all about our AC emergency. The person that reached out by text (not by phone, like we were told they’d do), was very short and rude. They said they could send someone out Monday between 10am-5pm (3 days later and during a 7 hour time-window.) I ended up fixing the problem myself. I spent twice as much on parts as I would’ve using Royal Air through my warranty company, and to me, it was worth it to not have to wait an entire weekend for them to care enough to send someone out to our home.I would not recommend using this company if you have any kind of emergency, and/or care about being treated with a shred of compassion about your situation.
Tech responded quickly to make the initial diagnosis (a failed compressor), and now its impossible to contact them for the follow-up repair via phone, call back service, online contact form, chat box on their website, or text.If anyone from their company bothers to get back in touch with me, Ill update the review to include follow-up service.
I have a warranty service through First American but I had used Royal AC in the past at my last house independently. I was happy my warranty service uses them too. They are punctual with good communication and got the job done without any hassle. I am happy the A/C is working again and Jose, my service tech, was great.
Awesome experience! Our technician Abdoul SAVED the day, because it is very very hot in Texas! Also, we needed the service by a certain time due to an already scheduled appt. and his arrival and departure was perfect! We were able to get to our appointment. Our A/C unit was repaired with the new part that was on his truck in no time! We are very pleased!Thank you Royal for caring!
Andrew took our call on a Sunday and got way more than he bargained for - our unit was shot but he explained it to us and promptly filed with our home warranty provider. Clear expectations and great communication throughout the process - we received a text when he was on his way and text afterward to follow-up!
Royal serviced my AC unit on 7/27 as a part of my home warranty. Royal inspected the unit and replaced a capacitor and 1/2 lb of Freon. I was assured by the tech on site there were no other issues with the unit but if anything did arise I was under a 30-day warranty with Royal and to contact them. On 8/10, I had the unit inspected by a 3rd party licensed technician since the unit is not cooling properly. They informed me the unit had lost over 4lbs of Freon, has a leak in the evaporative coil, and needs a upflow coil for the carrier air handler to be replaced, which should have been detected as a part of the 7/27 service. They informed me the unit would run into additional issues in the upcoming weeks. I contacted Choice Home Warranty (CHW) on 8/10 since the phone number Royal provided on their invoice was not a true working contact number and explained the issue. That same day CHW reassigned Royal to service my unit again. I had been trying to contact Royal using the contact information provided by CHW to confirm scheduling with no answer or call back for 2 days. I finally had to dig through text messages to find Royal’s contact with me from the initial service. After sending multiple messages to request contact for scheduling and explaining what the other tech had found (even sending them the invoice) I was simply told by Royal to contact CHW because they “are not taking choice claims at the moment.” When I addressed the 30-day warranty from their company I was ignored. I contacted CHW back to inform them of the lack of customer service and communication from Royal they apologized for Royal’s lack of communication and explained they have no way to know if a company is not going to fulfill their obligation once they’ve accepted a job unless the company informs them, which Royal did not. Instead, they accepted the job and let it sit for 2 days with temperatures currently at 100+ degrees and didn’t bother to communicate with anyone. I think it’s ridiculous that I had to chase Royal down to be told to contact the company they contracted with myself and not even acknowledge the inconvenience this has caused. On top of the fact that they missed so many other issues in the initial visit. I am writing this review in hopes that anyone else who uses this company is aware of the issues that may arise with poor customer service and communication if there is any follow-up service needed, as well as, potentially a lack of attention-to-detail when completing initial service requests and inspections. I am particularly glad I did not contract with them directly and am being reassigned to another company through my home warranty.
I was kept well informed of when my work order was received from First American Home Warranty and sent to Royal Air. Royal Air scheduled me the very next day and I was kept informed as to when the technician was going to arrive. The technician showed me the problem and fixed it all within 24 hours of when I submitted the claim to First American. Great experience!
This company was sent to our house by our home warranty company, First American Home Warranty. Our claim was first reported on July 2. We were told we need a new air conditioning condensing unit. We waited for 25 days for a new unit to be located. Royal air sent a technician who happened to be a subcontractor for Royal Air to install our condenser. This individual did not speak English and had a young woman with him interpreting for him. Once the new condenser was installed, our AC worked for only 2 days before it failed again. Royal Air then sent out one of their own technicians to see what the problem was. This technician determined that one part installed by the subcontractor was not installed properly, and also we now needed a new evaporator coil. We had paid over $800 to Royal Air for items not covered by our warranty for the installation of the condenser, and they advised us that day we would need to pay over $800 more for non covered expenses for the evaporator coil. We agreed and the new coil was ordered on July 31. I requested that the subcontractor who installed the condenser NOT install the new coil. Unfortunately, another 12 days later, the same subcontractor showed up to install the new evaporator coil. After removing my old coil, this subcontractor, who goes by the name “George,” has his helper tell me that the new coil would not fit. I was also told that the owner of Royal Air, Sam, could get me a coil that would fit but it was not a Lennox like my furnace and new condenser. I refused this coil because First American had not approved it. At this point, we decided to do some research. After speaking with Lennox technical support twice and after consulting a licensed HVAC installer we had used in the past, we found out that the condenser that Royal Air had installed WAS NOT compatible with our old evaporator coil (the new condenser was a 410 and the old coil was a R22) and that is why our old coil failed. We were completely disgusted! We don’t really know if Royal Air knew about the incompatibility and still installed the condenser knowing it would make our coil fail and that they would get a chance to make more money off of us OR if they are completely incompetent. According to Lennox Technical support, “EVERYONE IN THE HVAC industry knows you can’t put a 410 condenser with an R22 evaporator coil.” So at this point we had been without AC for over 6 weeks and we had lost all confidence in Royal Air. We decided to take the cash out option from our home warranty and use the HVAC contractor we chose. I should tell you there were zero delays with our HVAC contractor as he installed a Lennox evaporator coil 3 days later. We finally had AC! I do not plan to ever use Royal Sir again, but if you decide to take a chance or you are required to use them, be sure the technician they send out actually works for Royal Air and isn’t a subcontractor. The technicians who work for Royal Drive a truck with the name of their company and their logo on the side of their work truck. In the past, I have had 3 technicians that actually work for Royal Come to my house to do repairs. Their names are Emad, LaDarius, and Andrew. They were knowledgeable and professional. Good luck!

Ive used Royal Air Heating & Air Conditioning for almost 3 years now and I have always been satisfied with their service. It really makes a difference when their technicians explain the problem youre experiencing and the various repair options available to you ...in terms I could easily understand. Theyre always courteous, professional and on-time .Ive tried other companies in the past but they were not as proactive or focused as Royal Air. I almost felt like their technicians just wanted to solve one specific issue and leave.....which always resulted in return service calls to finish the job satisfactorily.I have been recommending Royal Air to friends and coworkers all over the Dallas metroplex area. Its so important to find a company you can trust.
Today Royal AC& Heating came out to my home, Francisco was VERY thorough. He took the time to explain what he was doing, why, and he patiently answered all my questions. He was knowledgeable and when he arrived there was a problem from the referring warranty company he solved it then and there and didnt just say sorry call again. HE was able to resolve the problem and continued to do the job we needed!! So responsible. So rare these days.
The service was quick. The online service request option was great. I got a response from the technician on a Sunday to confirm my Monday appt. it took a day to order and replace the faulty part. So within 2 days after i reported the issue (i reported it on Sunday) the problem was resolved. Technician Abdule went above and beyond to help me understand the overall nature and functionality of the unit and how to manage it on an ongoing basis. Overall a fantastic service experience. Two thumbs up for First American Home Warranty and their contractor Royal Air Heating & Air Conditioning LLC.
If it were possible to give zero stars, I would. This company is nothing but scammers who depend on being the lowest bidder with garbage warranty companies to stay in business. Their first visit out, the person and profile picture they claimed was dispatched didn’t show up - someone else showed up (red flag #1). Then, this person pumped a couple pounds of refrigerant into our system and said “yes, there is a leak, but I can’t do anything about it”. 24 hours later, our system is blowing 85 degree air. 5 days later, another tech shows up and immediately finds a leak at our evaporator coil (already confirmed by an independent third party); he stated that they would file for a new part from our warranty provider… fast forward 4 days later, our warranty company can’t reach them and every call I make to them goes straight to voicemail. If you want a bunch of con artists who can barely communicate intelligently, go with this group of yahoos. Otherwise, just call anyone else with a pulse.
Good morning,My home in Fort Worth was serviced on 8/21/20. However, the technician, Ramsi did not have the insulation on hand and was supposed to return on 8/24/20. Ramsi also suggested a new pan and switch for our HVAC system, but we did want to do it at this time. The invoice I received ONLY listed the pan and switch for $500. Upon calling the office on 8/24/20 due to not receiving a confirmation of service for the insulation on the condensation line I had to call the office. The office stated that they have not confirmed the service for 8/24/20 due to the fact we have yet to pay $175 for the insulation. The insulation is fully covered by our home warranty, First American and I explained this many times and also had this confirmed with Ramsi via in person and via text messaging. The office said someone would return my call in regards to the insulation. First American has made several attempts to reach out for the service report and has received no reply as of 8/26/20. First American has also confirmed with me that the insulation is covered. A prompt reply to rectify this situation is needed asap!The phone number listed for your business is not allowing First American or I to call the office as it is only giving an automated message.
Called panicky my warranty company -Home Warranty of America last night at 745. Explained the issue with our heat pump and with the weekend dipping in single digits, claim was considered an emergency. By the time claim was submitted and assigned , had a text and email from Royal Heating and Air . Within a few minutes we were scheduled 10-5 the following day. Called prior to arrival and issue was quickly resolved. Appreciate their urgency in responding and the professionalism.
This company was hired through our home warranty. They replaced out AC unit and coils. Shortly after the unit flooded my house. They came and accessed the damage and attempted to fix the unit. They have been at my home a total of 6 times and the unit is still not working properly. The massive leak was caused by an either an incorrect installation or faulty equipment. They have refused to replace the damaged unit and my damaged floor/walls. When I reached out through BBB the owner lied and said that they never even knew about the leak. I have video evidence proving other wise including their technician working on the unit WHILE it was leaking. Im now pursuing legal action because the leak caused electrical damage to my heater and is a huge fire hazard! I have never posted a complaint before but this is byfar the worst company I have ever used.
Dont bother using Royal Air & Heating - they will lie to you and your home warranty company about why they wont do the work.Here was my experience with Royal. In April 2021 my wife & I discovered there was a section of ductwork that leads to the master bedroom which had come loose and partially disconnected on either end and thus we had a reduced flow of air from our HVAC system to the bedroom. I called our home warranty (First American) company, they contacted Royal Air & Heating who sent a tech to our house, Andrew Zoyes.In this first visit, Andrew stated he couldnt access the ductwork because we didnt have a cat walk in our attic that went back far enough. This wasnt true, there was a catwalk under our insulation but no one has had to go up there from the time we had purchased the house and we just didnt know. We added a couple more planks to the cat walk and contacted our home warranty company again who then sent Royal Air & Heating back to our house.This time, Andrew was able to access the ductwork but then promptly returned from the attic to inform us his boss, Sam, had stated metal ductwork wouldnt be covered and proceeded to quote us $250+ to get the work completed. Unconvinced, my wife and I called the home warranty company, spoke with 3 different representatives and each one confirmed that metal ductwork was indeed covered as long as the issue was the result of normal wear & tear. At the request of Andrew, we even had one of the home warranty representatives call the Royal Air & Heating office to inform them the requested work was covered and to get it completed.At this point Andrew was aware of the fact the home warranty company had stated this was covered work and he texted his boss (Sam) about what to do. Oddly enough, it took much longer for Andrew to get a response from Sam about this than it did for Andrew to get the quote for doing the same work outside of the home warranty...Eventually Andrew did get a response from Sam, but it was to tell Andrew to move on to the next job!When we tried to resolve the issue with the claims department at our home warranty company they informed us the provider (Royal) had stated the issue was created by another contractor...This is just not true. We have not had a single soul in our attic other than my wife and myself since we moved in nearly a year ago and we never touched the ductwork, much less performed any work ourselves or with a contractor, as Royal stated to the home warranty claims service.Even more irksome is the fact Royal didnt communicate that claim to us, just to the home warranty company.Finally, to top it all off, they havent submitted the paid invoice to our home warranty company for the initial service fee of $75 so weve been getting notifications from our home warranty to pay a service fee thats already been taken care of.TLDR; Royal Air & Heating will lie to you and your home warranty company, claim work isnt covered in an attempt to upcharge you, and will just straight up leave your home when you push back and confirm WITH YOUR OWN HOME WARRANTY COMPANY the work is covered and to be completed.Apparently they are perfectly content with running a scam in which they get $75 from you for coming out, hopefully upcharge to an unsuspecting homeowner by claiming the work isnt covered, and will dip out when its clear they wont get more money from you.
Took 3 weeks to get AC working. Finally said we needed to replace air handler and heater. After 2 weeks without AC replaced system and they kept having to come back as it didnt cool. After a week of new unit not working had another company come out and they had it up and running in an hour.Worst thing was dealing with their employees. Not trained and very condescending. They dont answer their phones and and dont return calls. They are the worst nightmare Ive run into in all my years of property management.
The technician was fast and efficient and fixed my AC within minutes. The prior tech from another company told me, I needed a new disconnect and it had to be ordered … I waited 3 weeks for nothing ! I am very pleased with this company & the service I received!
Update! Royal air called this morning and said why did you give us a bad review? Your install will be pushed back a month for that and you will be accountable for every word of your review.I never said I had a problem with the techs or service I received from Royal air prior to dealing with you, I said you were rude. And you were and still are. Again we did everything asked of us and you were outrageously rude. There was no reason for it and there is still no reason for it.We were truly grateful that the warranty company changed the order from a new compressor to a new unit but that was never the issue I had with Royal air. You have been the issue. No one else.I give honest reviews and the majority of the reviews are positive. If you want positive reviews please provide positive service.My home warranty used royal air to come out. They said I needed a new pump. OK. My home warranty company completely dropped the ball and ended up authorizing a whole new unit after a manager reviewed my calls for service.Some incredibly rude guy from royal Air just called to ask a bunch of questions about my unit because he has to write a report. Im sorry you have to work, we all work. Dont be rude to people for absolutely no reason! We did everything asked of us, including climbing into the attic and taking photos so the rude guy didnt have to come out to gather the information he needed for his report.The techs who came out were pretty nice but that guy was so awful it has completely put me off of royal air.
Royal was assigned to me through my home warranty company. I have waited a few months to let everything marinate that transpired and Ive decided to write this review. I feel truly taken advantage of and screwed not only out of money but out of my time by Sammy and his band of misfits. Sam is condescending and unprofessional at best with horrible communication. I was up sold on services that I now realize were completely unneccessary and ultimately another company had to come back and clean up their mess. My home warranty shared with me that they have had more complaints about Royal AC this summer than any other company and have since terminated their contract with them. If youre looking for a good experience and a trustworthy company, trust me, and look elsewhere.
Consumer beware : Read all reviews before considering this company. My recent personal experience with Royal Air , chosen by my home warranty company, was extremely disappointing.Royal misdiagnosed my problem, after waiting 5 days down in 100 Degree heat, that would have cost me an additional $700 if I had not called another HVAC company directly. Internally at Royal Air, Sam was a roadblock rather than a solution.My delays in service were a direct result of Sam or Sammy who dispatches the technicians and communicates with home warranty companies. Sam created a bureaucratic blockade filled with excuses and blame over several days. He blamed the home warranty company for slow parts ordering and emails they hadnt sent him, rather than following up to move the service call along. I made the calls for Sam to my home warranty co to get action. Eventually I was able to confirm that the part was ready that day for pickup. After I let Sam know , he scheduled it 3 days out just to get the part. Then he told my home warranty company the earliest they would come back for repairs with the part would be 4 days out at best.I too, like other reviewers here, felt that Sam was extremely condescending and difficult at best to get any answers out of.Royal Airs technicians were nice enough but a misdiagnoses and the additional expenses to go with it are unacceptable.After much frustration, hours of phone calls and no results with Royal Air addressing my HVAC issues, my home warranty company gave me a buy out on the service call to peruse a fix on my own. I contacted another HVAC co and my problem was resolved the next day.I am a long term Real Estate Agent in DFW and have seen the good and the bad with my own experiences and my clients experiences with contractors / businesses. As a real estate agent I am always asked to recommend good contractors and businesses to clients. Royal Air wont be one of them.It will be interesting to see how the owner responds to this review and any resolution that my offered.
These people are unprofessional and unethical. After they gave me a diagnosis that my AC condenser had to be replaced through my home warranty company they would not follow up. They would not respond to a text, phone call or email. They left me without AC for ten days as they absolutely ghosted me and would not follow up. They are the ABSOLUTELY worst in customer service. Keep looking for a reputable company because they are NOT
Royal air was assigned by my home warranty regarding my a/c not cooling my house and working properly. They called me within the same hour i put my claim in and scheduled me to my convince since i work, they gave me a curtesy 45min prior to showing and texted me to let me know they were on their way so i had enough time to leave work and meet the technician at my home. I couldnt be anymore pleased with their professionalism and they took all safety precautions, for this covid pandemic we are facing.he wore gloves and face mask and shoe covers to ensure not only my safety but their own! Technician explained everything in terms i could understand and let me know what my home warranty policy would cover and what my out of pocket would be, which was very reasonable and i was pleased with the way they treated me and the respect they had entering my home. I would definitely recommend Royal Air to friends and family!
I can’t speak to price because I have a Home Warranty, but I do know that we reported our problem on a Saturday morning to our warranty company. Royal Heating and Air was the HVAC company assigned. They contacted me within just a few mins and gave me a window that they would be here on Monday afternoon and offered to call me if they had a morning cancellation AND to give me a 30 minute heads up before Technician arrived, which they did. Technician (Andrew) quickly diagnosed problem and replaced capacitor and we had cold air blowing within 30 minutes. He was very professional and courteous. What more could you ask for? I wouldn’t hesitate to ask for Royal again if we ever have another HVAC need.
Today was a very challenging day after having to deal with a repair issue in our home with another terrible company but after meeting Kaled with Royal, he came on time and with much honest concern to not only help me and my husband understand but professionally and patiently completed the repair leaving us comfortable with everything. If we should need air or heating services, we will be calling them and referring them to anyone we know who needs their services, too. Thanks again for your excellent service from beginning to the end.
These guys sent out a technician that I am pretty sure was not even certified. This kid showed up and disconnected my system and then told me that it would cost me almost 3K to fix. I immediately called a different service out and they had me up and running in 20 minutes. I was not given a choice when I called Home Warranty of America to fix the issue. Lesson learned, dont ever call Royal HVAC for anything in the future.
We had Royal AC visit and diagnose our furnace. We were pleased that they answered the phone promptly and scheduled a service appointment for the next day, not days or a week later. The day of the appointment we got periodic arrival time estimates so we knew when to expect them. Their technician Abdule was helpful, attentive to our concern and able to diagnose and make recommendations accordingly.
This company is deceptive and has terrible customer service! My parents air have been going out twice a summer for the past 4 years. This summer they have had their air go out 7 times and this company will take days and sometimes a week to “repair” it. My aging parents and elderly grandparents are forced to be without air in 100 degree weather. They have said my parents need a new unit, but when they submit the paperwork to home warranty they falsify the records and say it’s fixable and they fixed it. This is preventing my parents from getting the new unit they need. They keep collecting their fee whenever every time they come out even though they are working on the SAME issue. The customer service department is rude and the technicians are incompetent. Do NOT use this company if you want a lasting repair.
Great company! Royal was assigned to me by my home warranty company (Home Warranty of America), and Kaled was the technician who came out to my house. He was very friendly, personable, and had the problem diagnosed within about 5 minutes. I couldnt believe how fast he worked and how knowledgeable he was. All in all, Kaled was there for about 30 minutes, most of which I spent talking to him because hes a super cool dude! Would highly recommend in the future, with or without home warranty.
Royal air, they have been claiming to do services that arent actually being done. I also still have original parts on my a/c that they were paid to install new parts and was never done. Theyve also caused damage to my a/c and left it in poor condition with wires exposed. Starting from the beginning they were supposed to come out and repair my a/c and flush the lines, after they completed service the problem I had still existed and a plumber was sent out to fix the clogged lines and informed me that theres no way possible they flushed the lines because it wouldnt take a flush, so that was occurence 1 where that company got paid by first Am for a service they didnt do. After plumber fixed everything they were still called back out to fix a/c again, which on this occurence I was told that I needed a a/c compressor and dryer. Am first located parts after a long wait period and paid royal air to install them. Only the compressor was installed, the dryer that they claim to install was never installed! Ive included pictures. One pick you can see the newly installed compressor and my old original dryer. They stolen the part they claim to install! my unit was damaged during that install. My A/c was still not working after they installed these new parts that was supposedly fix the issuse. So the return again and tell me that my coils need to be cleaned, forgetting the fact that I paid for them to be cleaned by them previously. I paid cash to have them clean coils previously in may. That was never done. I asked for a new service company at that point because I realized that they not only theyve been ripping off my warranty company, but me as well. Even after speaking to a supervisor by the name of jose or juan his words to me was why do you care if your warranty company is covering everything I told him thats not ethically right and that it doesnt benefit me because Im still in hot air.After Technician from a different company came out, he pulled me around the back and explained to me the reasons he doesnt want to service it. My unit was damaged, parts was missing, wires was left exposed, the left my inside condenser exposed open and not properly insulated, old original parts are still there after they were paid to install new ones. The Technician declined to do service because of the liability this company has caused me. My air is still not working. The Technician also showed me where my coils looked to have not been cleaned at all, a service I paid royal air to do in may. I want to be reimbursed by them. The tech showed me my dirty coils and said its no way this was cleaned two months ago and their this dirty. That company needs to be shut down and held accountable for the damages they created and the parts theyve stolen.
I called and left a message and they promptly called back within 10 min. They did a great job of repairing my unit to get it up and running very quickly. The techs were kind and explained the issue that my unit had. I do appreciate them for coming out so late in the evening! Thank you!
Fast response to our call. They were out the next day and were able to get our air conditioner up and running within 30 mins. It was a very hot day. The technician, Ramzi was very professional and insightful. We will definitely be returning customers.
Royal AC was sent by our Home Warranty after our AC unit stopped working. Great and friendly service, on time, texted ahead of time. Unfortunately they didnt fix it completely and when they came back to show us what may be broken our unit completely caved in. Didnt like the follow-on process so we went with someone else to replace our unit.
Technicians were dressed professionally and very honest work. Came on time in the time frame given to me. I would highly recommend this company to family & Friends. Very nice technicians and company secretary helped to schedule appointment the same day i called, other companies would have me wait 3-5 days before coming out

Clearly a bunch of a amateurs. 3x they’ve shown up and 3x they’ve left without fixing problem. They’ve actually created new problems. This last time takes the cake though. The tech actually threatened me, told me I had better watch my back. All because we refused to sign their paperwork?? What were we singing for? The jobs not complete and you’ve created problems that didn’t exist until you showed up. Don’t threaten your customers because they refuse to sign off on a job not done. Hire/send out techs that actually have a clue what they’re doing and complete your work.
Terrible experience! the AC was not cooling. Charged me $700 to clean the coil. A few days later had the same issue, technician came for the second time and looked to the unit from outside but didnt fix it.Gave up on them. called D&D company. The tech came and fixed it in 30 minutes, said all the dirt sucked back in to the coil so they have to clean the coil again! They charged me $200 only plus giving a detailed report of what else they did to prevent it from happing again. No problem afterward. Told this to Royal AC. I hit the wall!! Spread the word please.
This is one of the worst company. I got assigned to them from my Home Warranty, The cost for replace was $653 which I agreed to pay. During the install they said they wanted more money, which I declined, They removed the new unit and installed back the old unit and left as is with the wires and components hanging out.This company has to be reported to BBB. Stay away from this company.
This company was recommended from my home warranty. They dont answer the phone or call back when necessary. I am still waiting on my AC installation as of today. Still no response or call from them and this has been for weeks.
Did not fix all the problems the first time they came out and that’s fine. I understand you have to give it time. So I tried calling back, left several messages and never got a response. My house was still 90 degrees for another week. Finally get them back out, no 30 minute notice more like 10 and then he tells me he can’t wait 15 minutes for me to get there. Bad costumer service and technician was very rude. Stay away and use someone how actually care about there job and reputation.
Called my home warranty and placed a claim on July 1st, tech came out and said all I needed was freeon but didn’t bother to check the AC unit in the attic. I call again because the issue was still occurring and they looked in the attic this time and stated the cooling coil was out. It took several days for them to generate an update to the home warranty and then provided a work order that includes parts that are not relevant to my AC model (over $200 in upcharges)It’s now July 15th and I still don’t have AC! I have called the home warranty company every day and nobody can tell me where this magical part is and why it has taken 2 weeks to resolve the issue. My downstairs unit is now out from being overwhelmed. I live in Texas and we have been in triple digit heat!!! No one cares and I have had to pay for hotels during COVID. Absolutely horrible service!

We had a different company come out 4 times before , sent by warranty company, kept doing same thing over and over never fixed it. This guys come in first time and find the problem and let us know the other company was just screwing us over. Thank you so much for your hard work..
Usually I don’t leave comments on services, but I have to with this company. I was very satisfied with the tech that came over Ronnie. I have read several negative reviews on this company. But I can tell you the service I got today was very professional he knew exactly what was wrong with my air condition and fix the problem. If you receive negative service from this company the only thing I can say is maybe you got a technician that did not know what they was doing and was not professional. I will highly recommend this company if you are having problems with your air condition.
Ronnie was awesome! Any HVAC needs we ever will need in the future, we will definitely want to use this company, as well as hopefully get Ronnie again, though I’m certain they have other great technicians as well. He was extremely knowledgeable about so many things which helped me understand what was going on and then some. Thank you again!
I did not have a choice using Royal as using we went through a home warranty service. He was extremely sketchy when he walked in. He talked on his phone and said that he would be somewhere else in 15-20 minutes making us seem not important and that he would get his money. We had a phone call later from him saying what was needed and the price. We called our own trusted A/C guy and Royal quoted $1500.00 MORE than what the part and labor would cost. We were also given a deadline to make a decision to go with him and then was hounded with multiple phone calls from him as we were unavailable to answer each phone call. He was also extremely rude on the phone and hung up on is when we did talk to him. Extremely unprofessional and seems like a SCAM Artist. Avoid at all costs. Like a previous review said, I would not use him even if he was the only specialist left on earth!
Royal Air H&AC are a top notch outfit. They are profesional and their extensive experence makes them very knowledgable. I have a aging unit and they were paitaint with the many issues I had, and worked with my Home owner warity company to get to a resolution. They sent the time to explain what is exactly going on with the unit and how the process for repair will go. over time when the mechanical units dictated it were replaced and now we are in the cool once again.
Ayman and Jacob were super nice and efficient. They explained exactly what they were doing and how I could do preventative maintenance to help keep my unit in good shape. As a single woman living alone in my first home, I really appreciated their time and knowledge. Royal AC and Heating was very responsive and kept me up to date at every step. I would highly recommend them and especially Ayman and Jacob.

We were given Royal AC by our home warranty company. They were on time with their appointment and gave us a five star treatment. They quickly diagnosed the problem, gave us our options on what to do to remedy the problem and even corrected some wiring by previous owner that was less than par. Kaled and Rami did an outstanding job and will even wind up saving us some money on our future electric bills because of their expertise. We highly recommend Royal AC & Heating.
The Customer service rep gave a 7 hour window to be available to fix broken HVAC in the middle of summer. Company signs up as a Home Warranty vendor and thenWhen I asked for a 2-hour window she started to say take it or leave it. Very rude. Knows customer is desperate and will take advantage. Very bad business ethics.Companies negotiated pricing with a Home Warranty should not prevent customer from receiving a descent service. But it is very hard to argue this point when my family have been sweating through our shirts for a week and we are desperate for the AC system to work. The contractor knows this and is taking advantage of this situation.
These guys were sent out by our home warranty, First American, because our house want cooling. When they arrived, they ran some quick tests and decided our system was low on freon - added 3 pounds. I told the guy that the outdoor unit had been making some hissing noises, but he assured me this would fix the problem, and if it didn’t, this would be the first step in seeing if there’s a leak. That same evening, we had the same issue...a very warm house with an AC running the entire night. I called them back out and about 2-3 days later, a different guy showed up. I told him they were just out and put in 3 lbs of Freon and also told him about the hissing noise. He ran some tests, came inside and told me he added 1 lb of Freon and it should be fixed. I told him that wasn’t going to fix the issue because they just filled it a few days ago, to which he responded with “Well my supervisor said we have a lot of installs and just to add Freon and leave.” He left, I called the office, got a call from a supervisor and said he’d be back out to run a leak test. Same guy shows up about 30 minutes later and says there’s a leak in the evap coils on the attic unit. They then came up with over $1k of uncovered costs to replace the coils. I hired an independent company to come out and run a leak test and they determined there wasn’t a leak in the evap coils but that there was an issue with the outside unit making the hissing noise. The hissing noise was because of a pressure relief valve getting stuck open from a couple other issues. I took this info to the home warranty, they issued a new AC company to come out and that very morning the compressor went out because of being overcharged with Freon. Now the entire system has to be replaced.This company is lazy and more importantly, untrustworthy. They WILL NOT fix your problem. They WILL take whatever the most convenient shortcut that will make them the most money possible.If your HW company sends them out, request a new contractor.
The company has been to my house 4 times over the last Five weeks! This last time they came to my house the employee fell through my ceiling left a manhole in my ceiling.. they did send someone to fix it now I have a 2 tone ceiling... So I have to paint the rest of my ceiling. On top of this my AC OS STILL NOT FIXED!!!! The employee that fell through my ceiling asked me to buy duct tape for him to tape a duct on o had to litterally go buy duct tape!! The duct that they said was off was the same duct the employee used his laser therm to gauge the blowing temp.. at that time it was 56 degrees.. so the vent magically popped off in my Attic?? I has taken 5 weeks and 4 visits for them to tell me a vent was off that wasnt! Went and bought 2 window air conditioners so my 2 toddlers can play since my house was up to 80 degrees.... They are absolutely worthless!!! The owner SAM. WILL NOT RESPOND.. HE HAS HIS NIECE EITHER ANSWER OR IHNORE YOUR CALL THEY SCREEN THERE CALLS WITH A VM.DO NOT IS THERE SERVICE!!! They get a 1 because I cant give them -100....biggest rip offs ever. I went through a Home warranty, they paid for parts. However, the part that was installed was not what the warranty company purchased..the evap coil is to small, the panel doesnt fit. They used mastic all over my unit to cover up their thievery..they then tried to charge me for extras work they said they did..ha..in order to charge for duct work, you actually have to go in the attic..such liars..My hvac has not worked the same..after calling them back a 3rd time..they snuck around to the unit and charged the system with refigerant, after they said it wasnt the problem..the kid saw me and ditched the pink canister between the truck and curb.. witness by others and and recorded..watch every movement and check what parts are being installed..such a joke this company is...I am glad I documented all this..and the owner...he is the rudest person I have ever spoken with..you are pathetic..and the upcharges were over 500.00..beware..
This company was sent out to conduct a repair by my home warranty (HW) . On the first visit they tired to require me to buy almost $500 in items they claimed were not covered before they could inspect the system. I told them the items were covered and then even had the owner Sam call me and said it wasnt covered without even looking at my warranty. I had the HW on the other line and they told him those parts were covered. He was not happy.The technician then said we needed a new compressor which the HW company ordered that day a Friday, along with some other parts. Come Tuesday an no A/C in 100 degree days Royal Air sends out a private contractor who is not an employee of Royal Air. They also sent a compressor which was too small aka not the correct tonnage. I notified the non-royal air employee and called my HW. The HW company verified and talked to Royal Air owner Sam and told him he was wrong and that was not the correct part.Sam then called the non-Royal Air employee so he could talk to me, Sam said it was the correct part. I told him no and the HW company told you no. At this point my R22 freon has been taken out, old compressor removed. After trying to threaten me for not letting him put the wrong part in the A/C, he tells the contractor to leave.The A/C outside unit was left completely apart, freon removed and taken by the contractor. I have called the HW company and filed an official complaint.No one should have to deal with such a horrible, dishonest company like Royal Air. I not only have a non-working A/C unit but it is completely taken apart and who knows if it can even be put back together properly. Reviews on Google will show numerous one star and negative reviews with the same issue as I have experienced. Stay away from this company at all costs.
They came and did a great job showing me exactly what the problem was. My coils were frozen and so they thawed them out and a/c is now working great. Another tech had probbly aded too much free-on in last spring. So wer will be coo tonight. Thank you.
Thank You Royal !!! This Company was dispatched to me through the Home Warranty and they did a great job. My a/c went out over a week ago. Initially, the H/W Co. assigned us a different a/c repair Co., and Ill be nice enough not to name them, who could NEVER seem to get their scheduled appointment right, after Id taken off work several times to accomodate their scheduling debacles.I asked my H/W people to assign me a different Repair Co. and they said Royal w/be there by 10 the next morning.Royal showed up at 9:10 am & they were out of my house by 9:25 am. My a/c was up and running. If I need a/c or heating service again, Ill ask my H/W people for Royal. They accomplished in 15 minutes what I waited for with the other guys for over a week.Pamela

Had an entire new downstairs unit replaced by this company yesterday, only to find this morning it is now leaking through our ceiling! Obviously their technicians are incompetent and can not properly install equipment! The only reason we used them is because our home warranty was involved. We are now waiting for them to open and have them come back out. It has ruined our carpet, ceiling fan, and ceiling. Absolutely terrible service!!!!!!!
Kaled and Sam came out to my home on 6/20/18. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! They were able to find multiple issues with my AC that the home inspector missed! They even stayed to help uninstall my old thermostat and replaced it with the new one I purchased, As a courtesy!!They’re the definition of going above and beyond for the customer!!! Thank you guys so much from preventing my home from catching fire. You guys literally saved our lives. ❤️
They were very prompt, professional, and quick to diagnose the issues with our AC unit. Texas heat is brutal and unforgiving but they saved the day for sure!! Our senior pups and I think them very much as I’m working from home right now.

The Guy in the Picture Sammy Bayazeed came to my house last year installed a complete system inside and out. They broke a support stud in my attic and said How do I know you didnt break it. Really Sammy! I asked him just to fix it and all would be forgot, he refused now Ive filed a claim with his insurance. Hes tolerable but rude at the first but after hes paid hes extremely rude and nothing is his fault. Wouldnt have him in my house again if he was the only AC company in the world.

Worst HVAC company Ive seen in years. Even their managers cant figure out whats going on. R22, 427A and 410A. One was my system, one is what they used, one is what they came back after the service call and said they really used. If you call them direct, its your own fault. If your home warranty company calls them, ask for someone else.
This company is a complete joke. Not one or two but three of my properties they “find” issues with my systems and drag their feet to get parts. Then come back and say we need “upgrades” to our systems. Scam artist at its finest. Stay as far away from this company if possible.
I called them after having another company tell me we had to replace our furnace because we had a cracked heat exchanger. And that our system was so old. Royal couldn’t believe how well maintained our system is and there is nothing wrong with it!Do not use Levy & Sons!! Scam artists

Job: Condensor replacementThese guys Sammy sent out did an extremely unprofessional job.Not only did they mangle the duct supports around my air handeler (which was not changed out) but they also left my drain pan disconnected and sitting flat on the deck below the air handler, AND left the primary drain reconnected incorrectly which, had I not caught , would have caused major water damage to my kitchen ceiling. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. Shame on you First American Home Warranty- choose better contractors!
These guys show up at any hour, I know this because I filled out the contact form and got a back 10 Mins later; about a half hour later I got a tech at my door by 11:30PM, by midnight Ladarius had replace a capacitor. Thanks again for coming out so late!
My dad bought a new central hvac system and to start with they cut an enormous hole in the wall which they did pay to have fixed but FF 3 weeks the air handler fan blows but the condencer wont come on and they wont answer a phone(update) did finally get in touch with them 2 weeks ago after making a fb comment then even with threat of litigation saying they will schedule someone to us and will call and let us know ,NOTHING..finally called july 26 th and are supposed to be here monday between 8 AM and 6 PM I will update...
I called on Friday because my AC unit is not cooling at all! They was able to schedule me for same day service 🙂.. it took them about 20-30 minutes to fix it,I was very impressed with fast scheduling and repairs thanks Kaled & Rami

It was refreshing to have Abdule show at the start of the 9-2 pm window. It’s always a negative experience to have to be stuck at home for more than two hours while waiting for a service person to arrive. Also, Abdule was polite, knowledgeable and got the heater working quickly..
Royal air came to my house and said i need new A/C unit, so my warranty company authorized the work but Royal air said there is $2050 extra for other parts that there own repairman said i do not need but i paid it anyway ,this is the worst company i have ever seen , after 2-3 weeks of the new unit was put in it was not cooling that good at all ,i have been calling Royal air for the past 3 weeks and never one time anybody answered the phone , i may have left at least 10-15 msgs and not one person returned my calls,Do not deal with those scammers , its a fraud company they took my hard earned money and never called me back to fix what they did that i paid $2050 for , plz dont do business with this company ,they will take ur money a run eith it and never care about customers , The stuff that they charged me $2050.00 for ,i found is for less than half of what they charged me for example they said i need a rubber pad that the unit sits on it and charged me $400 for it and its only cost $80 all over the place and the funny thing is i had one already under the old unit and repairman that came to my house said i have one i dont need a new one its just a way to cheat people for more money . they are unethical and not professional at all, PLZZZ STAY AWAY FROM ROYAL AIR.

I have not used Royal AC and Heating, however one of their employees almost ran me off the road by coming up behind me at 90mph on 161. Fortunately I changed lanes before he basically almost collided with me. Then I watched him weave around multiple cars and lanes until he exited. I got his license plate and called the company, they made no apology. Very unprofessional behavior from this business, especially from the employee.

They installed the evaporator coil for me thru Home Warranty and now cannot call them to fix the leak that they made during installation
Ladarius was on time and did a very thorough job. He was able to figure out the solution quickly and finish the repair with ease. He was very informative and respectful, and also seemed happy to be on the job.
Ayman was very helpful in explaining my system and educating me on it (i.e. air filter options and installation, etc) and what to do under certain winter conditions, ie turn on emergency heat.when it gets below 32 degrees, etc. He was also a very nice and friendly person.
This company was assigned to me by my home warranty company.The owner is extremely disrespectful and uses a condescending tone and language (i quote per owner i really dont care if i have your business or not. when they drop the ball. At home at the scheduled service times, but they never called or showed up. They never call back and you have to follow up with them. The owner is a reflection of what kind of treatment and service you can expect.

Ive waited ALL day to hear back from Royal Air. No one answers the phone. Ive texted my contact info, along with my Claims #, 4 times today. No response 😕! So very disappointed!. Ill update if they respond soon.
The technician was on time and informative. He went above the service call & turned our a/c fan on, so the house would cool until the part could arrive from the warehouse.

I called in at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, and they had s technician here Wednesday morning! He was in and out in about 30 minutes because he was knowledgable and able to quickly diagnose and correct the problem!

I checked the link they sent me a saw he was on his way. He showed up a few minutes later. I showed him where the a/c unit in the attic was. He stated that he would have to blow out the drain lines to see if they are clogged. He blew them out and reconnected the drain lines and told me to check on it andthe leak should stop but if its still leaking hell come back and recheck it. There was no pressure to sell me something I didnt need or any type of service. The technician (Ladarius Dearly) was polite and introduced himself where he got here . I would use them again. Ratings online were ok but I thought he did great..

Had a tech come out and tell us that our coils on the outside unit were dirty causing our unit to not run right. But said that the ducks in the attic that were deformed wasn’t an issue. The air unit kept climbing not cooling
I read alot of really bad reviews about home warranty issues with them I as well was set up threw my home warranty, well all I have to say is they were very fast in setting up my appt, they came out in a timely manner, was very professional, my technician heard me out as I explained to him my issues, very patient, he fixed some issues, and some very happy with my service, all I have to do is check out if what he did fixed the issue as I had two hopefully it does, and if it doesnt, there a phone call away and he will know what to do then as he explained to me very well, am very pleased thankx guys.

Home warrenty service, issue happen on a Tuesday repaired on Thursday after he found out what was wrong. They tried to fix next day, but they needed a new control board.

Do not trust this company!!!! They fixed the A/C enough to last for 2 weeks and then tried to charge me again. They did not honor their warranty and they broke my fan. Will not do business with them again.
