When spending your hard earned money, you’d want to have the entire job finished. Unfortunately, Rycon did not deliver on the finish aspect of the job in which they were paid to perform. Ryan and his crew are exceptionally nice people, and the AC system itself works well but unfortunately I didn’t pay Rycon for pleasantries.Upon removing the AC unit to be replaced which included the removal and replacement of the original cement pad, Ryan stated that he nor his crew would be cleaning up the old pad as “it was too heavy” and that I should be the one to “grab a sledge hammer” and haul the debris to the dump. I don’t live in a million dollar home on the lake but I expect that when paying for a service, all debris is cleaned up and hauled away. If Rycon lacks the tools, vehicles or strength to finish the job completely, that should have been stated before work began.I certainly wish I could go back in time and choose another AC company. If you want to hire Rycon please ask every imaginable question about what and what is not included in the job price. Lesson learned in that job completion and clean up is not included with Rycon. As a disabled veteran, my back certainly looks forward to cleaning up Ryan’s incomplete job.

Service was very good. I was very shocked when the actual labor time was less than an hour and it cost us $570 to replace a contactor and repair a couple of burnt wire ends.

Rycon came out the same day, showed me the issues and explained my options for my 15 year old compressor unit. Repairs were completed within an hour and I’m cool again. Our AC broke tonight around 6pm, ended up calling Rycon Ac who are open 24/7 around 8:30. Within those 2 1/2 hours our house jumped from 72 degrees to 83 degrees, AT NIGHT (could you imagine how hot it would get it we waited till Monday?!) Called around 8:30 and they came out at 9:30, fixed the problem, and we’re back to feeling cool 😎 thankful to find reliable, fair, and honest people around here we know we can count on!

Rycon installed a 4 ton system in my 35 year old house. He came in with a plan and did the entire install in 10 hours! Ryan is very friendly, professional and does everything he says hes going to do and then some. I had 100% confidence in him the entire time. I have been in construction half my life and I can say Ryan and his team do very clean work! They cleaned up after themselves, I couldnt even tell they were here. Fantastic company. Super responsive and reasonably priced. My litmus test for great service is how companies handle tough situations. I reached out to Ryan early on Memorial Day morning (2024) to fix my AC that had gone out the night prior. He had his technician (Chris) at my house by 10AM and the problem was fixed shortly thereafter. With a house full of guests, I needed my AC fixed ASAP. RyCon Heating & Air delivered big time. Highly recommend.

I called Rycon Heating & Air to fix a problem with my heat only running momentarily before shutting off. Not only were they able to work me in prior to a freezing cold snap arrives, but Chris arrived right when I was told and had the problem diagnosed and fixed within 15 minutes. Prior to this service visit Id had another company look at the problem to have them tell me I needed a brand new motor. That wouldve been a $500-$600 mistake. Im glad I called Rycon before going down that path. Ill trust Rycon with my HVAC issues from now on.

Dealing with Rycon for my ac was great. Ryan is very professional and delivers on what he says. Their charges are very reasonable. Rycon will be the only hvac company I use. Ryan definitely goes out of his way to ensure customer satisfaction.

I wasnt there when they did the install, but when I came back it was like there wasnt anyone there. I looked for a speck of dust but couldnt find one, cleanup was spectacular. I did have to call them back because I thought the system was not running, turns out the new system is so quiet I didnt know it was running. I then went into the attic and could hear the system running but you had to really listen, its that quiet.

Of course, the AC craps out in my house at the last minute and right before 4th of July. I called Rycon and they were right on time and fixed the problem quickly. Theyll be my first choice again and I highly recommend them.

We had an excellent experience with Rycon! They installed a new return in our home, sealed ducts and boots and added dampers. Price was good and work was done correctly and timely. It was hot and no one complained. They payed out drop cloths to keep things clean and made sure to clean up after as well. I highly recommend these guys!!

Dont even bother with the big name companies for repairs or installs. Ryan was very informative and walked me through every step of the process and as to what was wrong with my system. Ill definitely be using him again if I ever have another issue. Capital 5 stars.

GREAT SERVICE! First repair on a Saturday to replace contact module. 90-100 degrees! Then explained the r22 issue in 2023! And the recent price hikes the last few years. My units were 18-20 years old .So I ordered a new set and they showed up at the scheduled time. Ryan answered all my questions. His crew of three did an excellent job! Including concrete base and new thermostat plus moving the shut off box for easier access! Also took back all old equipment ! Excellent !

What a great company!! A previous company had been out twice in less than week and our a/c system went out again!! When I called the previous company back they said they could come back in two days. They were so rude and told me to call somebody else since my warranty was up. I called Rycon and they were out same day. He was very professional, walked me through the process, explained what was wrong, showed me the issue and fixed it. So glad I found them and will definitely use them in the future. Nice to know people still care.

Rycon was a ray of sunlight to our week. Our home was not set up properly from the dealership when they had 90 days to do their job. Finally after suffering through the week with no air waiting for the builders to come do their job. I found Rycon online and told Ryan our situation and he was at our residence in 45 mins. Ryan set up our AC, found the problems, fixed them and check out the whole system then gave us advice on how to care for our new unit. We now have heat/air and consider Rycon our regular AC maintenance company. Would highly recommend this company! Thank you Ryan and God Bless you and your company!

They ordered the system and provided me with window units to get by with until my new system was in. The install crew was efficient, clean and did quality work. When the system was ready to power up, my old electrical circuit in the house failed. They helped me get an electrician out the next morning and fixed that problem at a economical price. The service was awesome! Didnt push us to do anything unnecessary, tried the cheapest and easiest solution, waited around to make sure it worked, and when it did he was as happy as we were. So pleased with the quoting, communication, installation and systems installed by Rycon Heating and Air. Ryan was was so easy to work with throughout the process—very professional, timely, answered all of my questions.I required two systems—one, a replacement of an existing system and two, the addition of another whole new system in a master suite and den addition. Ryan recommended adding the air handling system in the attic with two, separate returns for the den and master suite. From a technical, “right way to do it”, perspective this was, in fact, the best way to install the unit, which also saved me room in the master suite closet where I had first planned to install the air handling unit. After many quotes and discussions with other contractors, Rycon was the only company to make this recommendation—it was the right one. During the quoting process, Ryan made sure to inspect every detail for his evaluation and recommendation.My requirement in systems was one of value. I’m not trying to break the bank with very best, top of the line system—I would like to sell this house when my kiddos graduate in a few years. And I don’t need a heat pump for heating, as I do have a very, very good top of the line wood burning stove for that. Anyway, Ryan’s quote was very competitive with many, many others.To prepare for the installation, I did have to run a couple of power wires for the new master suite installation. Of course, I had questions about the gauge wire and size breakers. Ryan promptly answers all of my texts as we rounded up the necessary supplies.Ryan’s installation of the two systems was in ONE DAY!!!! Amazing! He had done it while we were away on a vacation. When we came back, the house was a cool 70 degrees. The units are running so quiet I can hardly hear them. I had been worried about the unit installed in the bedroom, but not anymore. I can barely hear them running and it’s a night and day difference from the window units we had been running in years prior.

Our a/c went out when it was 101°. Rycon moved some customers around to come to us immediately because it was 85° degrees in our house and we are elderly.Rycon discovered our outside compressor was full of debris. He cleaned it and that allowed the blades to move. A/C started cooling again. We felt very fortunate he could help us and gave us a fair price for the work. I would definitely recommend Rycon!
