Great experience from start to finish. Another company kept pushing me off for 3 days. I finally called Mid-cities and the dispatcher was friendly and pleasant. They got someone to me in two hours! When the tech showed up he was professional and pleasant, he educated me on how to deal with this problem should it happen again, and got me up and running quickly. And it was reasonably priced! Definitely my new HVAC company.

Mid-Cities Air and Heating is by far the best HVAC company in North Texas. Jonathan (the manager/owner) is dynamic and an amazing help. Everyone on his team rocks. Highly recommend. They’re timely, great communication, and high quality of work.

My AC broke on Sunday. I called Mid-CITIES and a real person answered. They dispatched a technician who was very professional and he had the part on his truck to fix it. We Are very satisfied the new system. Additionally they’ve been willing to work around issues we’ve encountered with our mom, who lives with my sister & I, and is in very ill health. They are responsive, on time, respectful and reliable. Between helping us keep old units alive, to replacing 4 units (which required replacing), in two different houses, everything has gone smoothly. Very knowledgeable staff that goes above and beyond to make sure we are getting only what we need and nothing extra unless we are requesting it.Anytime we have had an issue with our untis it has been handled in short order and we are left with confidence that everything will work as intended. Initial estimate visit was great! As a busy CPA who works from home, I appreciate kind but honest and direct feedback and they were just that. Short sweet and simple. Looking forward to getting the quote and hopefully being able to work with them.P.s. When getting quotes on anything I usually have to pester the representative to give me a few quotes with different variable changes or itemizing things. I have used this company for years. Excellent service great prices. Just used them today. Jonathan came over and helped me figure out why I wasnt getting enough circulation in a far room. Jonathan was awesome! Originally I filed through my warranty but the company they use had terrible reviews. Mid-Cities on the other hand had great reviews and the service fee was less than the warranty company. They were responsive, on time, and very professional. He explained and checked everything and now I have ac again!

Just after 6pm on Wednesday night our air went out. Immediately I made a call to Mid cities and left a message. We have always been happy with their excellent service and this was no exception. Jonathan was at our house by 10:30 and our ac was purring by 11:30.These guys are great. Nice, pleasant , knowledgeable and reasonable prices. Really appreciated the quick service since I can’t deal with this heat.

While no one likes having to deal with A/C issues, Mid-Cities Air Conditioning makes it about as painless as can be. Weve had nothing but positive experiences with them over the years, as their quality, pricing, and service have always been exceptional. In particular, Jonathan (who has serviced our system on multiple occasions) is extremely professional. Had a slight emergency with our ac system for my building and mid cities was the only place that could get out quickly to look at our issue. After arriving, they noticed that everything looked OK and that the issue we experienced can happen naturally with the type of electronic system used with our ac system. They said ac will come back on after sitting for a bit so nothing was needed to be done. HONESTY was in full view here. The other thing I liked is that one of the owners of the comapny came on the service call. I love dealing with locally owned businesses because they seem to have a higher level of service and seem to care more about the customers because they live in our community. I would highly recommend Mid Cities Air Conditioning and Heating. They didnt try to sell me services or products I didnt need.

Nick came out within 20 mins. Was AMAZING checking everything out for me. Walked me through how to clean and maintain my AC system to prolong its life expectancy. Outside AC unit stopped working at midnight. Scheduled appointment online at 2am and technician showed up by 830 that morning. Weve had 20+ days of over 100 Temps and we are very thankful that Mid Cities was so responsive. Technician was polite, professional and able diagnose the issue as a capacitor which he replaced and the house started cooling before he left 30 min later!

We have been a client for several years and have been very pleased with their service and professionalism. They are very responsive when we have had issues and usually can come out very quickly. We have had a unit replaced and received a good deal and great service. I would highly recommend them.Update: They offer a tune-up program for A/C units and furnaces in the spring and fall. We have found this to be a great service so our units are ready for the heavy use times of the year. I don’t write these reviews often, but Jonathan was our service technician and has provided a wonderful service. He was so good that we personally requested him each time we needed service on our HVAC system. He will honestly try to repair first and not simply try an sell you a new unit, like other big name companies. The team members are very personable and like to teach the customer about the service so you know what to expect and things you can do to prevent issues in the future.They are local and live in the community which is an added bonus. We have used several other companies before we found Mid-Cities and we will never go with anyone else.

Outside unit had shut down completely. Checked all the normal switches, breakers etc and called for assistance after turning off my a/c since I didnt know what was wrong. Got help the next morning. Found out my float switch was trigger. Also know now what a float switch is! He walked me through how to check it in the future, how to clean the pipe to make sure no debris . My nightmare was fixed in less than 10 min! Educational, fast, friendly, respectful and so helpful. Thank you !! And incredibly reasonable price for service fee! Cant recommend them enough based on this experience!

The Trane system MCA sold and installed in our home has given us numerous problems each summer since we first purchased it over 3 years ago. However, it turns out to be a known manufacturer issue on a product that has since been discontinued.Jonathan (our wonderful technician who has been with us since the beginning of our relationship with MCA) has gotten Trane to agree to completely replace the entire system at no cost to us WITH an upgrade to a more energy efficient system! MCAs entire staff has been completely professional, is always responsive, and has absolutely shown the best quality service weve ever experienced in the home repair industry since becoming homeowners 14 years ago. Every business could take a lesson from MCA on how to treat the customer right! We had used a different AC company since 2016. When our unit stopped working a few days ago, we called our usual guy who said our home was no longer in his area but didnt refer us to any other company. It look several hours to find a company that would work on our issue and send someone in a timely manner while working around our schedule. Mid-Cities Air replaced our blower motor after 4 days without air. The tech showed up on time, was friendly and super professional! He even gave us general maintenance tips for our unit. Even better, he talked to us about chickens and he showed us pictures of his! LOL! We will be using Mid-Cities Air from now on! 🐓

I called Mid-Cities after having two other companies no show, including a company I had a yearly contract with. I was having issues with the controller for our Trane system. Mid-Cities arrived an hour after I called and replaced my controller and even took care of its warranty since it was still covered by manufacturer. I was very impressed with their professionalism and the fact they explained everything they were doing. I was given instructions on how to take care of the system in between my normal service calls to avoid having any unexpected issues as well which I appreciate. I would not hesitate in recommending Mid-Cities to anyone. I will be using them for my future HVAC needs.

I called the night before and they were on the way by 8:30. He was awesome diagnosed the problem, he had to order a new condenser. The whole air conditioner was fixed by 10:00am. It was fixed and Jeff came to inspect its run like a champ. Whats so good is everyone I dealt with was so professional and courteous. Definitely will use them of needed in the future.

They called when they were on their way. They arrived within the 4 hour window I was given. They worked quickly. Super nice guys. We got the annual hvac service package and he said we could expect a call to schedule our heater maintenance in October. Im very happy with them and the service. No fuss no muss.

We’ve had Mid-Cities out for maintenance before, but this is the first time we’ve had them out because our AC wasn’t running. The tech had the problem diagnosed in about 10 minutes, and gave me a great explanation of what was going on.This is the point where most of us homeowners brace for impact. Considering this is AC repair I was expecting to go ahead and hand over my first-born, but the quote was very fair. I say fair because I don’t think I’ve ever gotten through an AC repair without paying more than twice what I had to today.He replaced a part in about ten minutes, and I was up and running again! It was so quick and easy!The techs have always been very professional and friendly when they come. I’ll keep going back to Mid-Cities for the foreseeable future.

Always have received great service from this company and weve been using them for about ten years. Last summer our a/c unit broke and the technician noticed that the broken unit was still barely under warranty with the manufacturer. Mid-Cities filed all the paperwork and got us a new unit under the warranty. The technicians have always been courteous and knowledgeable and are careful to clean up after any work they perform. Could not have been more pleased. Called in on the hottest day of the year and they had a tech out in 3 hours. I am not sure if they are all this way, but Jonathan was extremely polite and professional. He quickly diagnosed the issue and repaired my unit without trying to up-sell me. He even went made the extra effort to clean my condenser. He then explained to me what I should expect in the future and what I needed to do to make it as painless as possible.

Why cant I leave more than 5 stars?? Let me lay it out there from a customer of theirs. We researched every HVAC company in Tarrant County and dropped $12K with them on a complete new residential HVAC system in and out, duct work and all. We had a minor issue with the system 5 years into it after our pre-paid maintenance program and warranty had expired. One quick call to them and they dispatched two techs and their supervisor to my address with in 45 minutes. Three hours later she is back up and running better than new. All for the grand price of $0.00 all because customer service is key with Mid-Cities Air Conditioning & Heating. In a world where customer service is no longer a factor this company sets the bar for all other HVAC companies in the region. Not only did they earn my business for the original installation but theyve earned my business in the future. Dont bother searching all the others in this specialized field, simply pick up the phone and give them a call. Youll be happy you did and youll be leaving the same type of review yourself. I cannot say enough good things about this company! I needed to have my whole ac replaced, and they did it with a smile on their faces. They were quick, thorough, kind, and informative. The tech answered every one of my questions, helped me stay within my budget, and didnt mind my dog and toddler attempting to be his mini sidekicks. My new ac is running amazingly as well! If I ever need any air related work done Mid Cities Air will be my first and only call!

My compressor was making a terrible noise last night so I cycled the AC and the compressor didn’t come back on for almost 30 minutes. I made an appointment to repair the problem and the tech said the run capacitor was the problem. The capacitor that is presently installed costs $14.00 and they wanted to charge me a minimum of $385 to replace a $14.00 part. I kindly said no thank you, I’ll go get the exact replacement from Furgeson’s and replace it myself. His response was that they won’t come behind a self repair and I said fine! There’s 50 other places to choose from. Epic fail on your part. He brought his tablet and showed my 5 choices of “quality” of the replacement caps plus “warranty” from $385 to $800+. What a scam.Response to Owner:Dont blame the ridiculous pricing on the computer. Computers ONLY do what they are told! Someone input that pricing into his tablet. That said, I was not offered a capacitor only option unless the cheapest option he showed me from the tablet that was $350+ was that option and if that was the cap only option, thats pretty damn good money. My replacement capacitor that cost me $14.99 from Ferguson Plumbing which is the EXACT same make and model capacitor that I replaced and is still working great! Even through all this lovely heat. Thank you for the refund. Not particularly worried that you wont come behind me to work on the unit... LOTS of other fish in the sea...

Another great experience with Jonathan. They responded promptly and were able to work me in quickly to repair an inoperative AC with Temps forecasted to reach 100. Very satisfied everytime, will call without hesitation for my AC needs in the future. Thank yall so much.

I randomly look at google and call to maintain my AC. The receptionist was so polite. But they send a guy with zero knowledge. He never answer any of my questions. And he said need to replace the whole system and give me the quote of $12k for 3 ton AC. But i call another technician and he fixed the issue in $120 bucks. That guy nearly spend my $12k for no reason.So I want nobody to fool by this kind of shit company.

I have used Mid-Cities Air Conditioning for 20 years. They have always been polite, professional, and knowledgeable. The same was true with the technician that came to my house this time.He determined the problem, which was not my A/C, but a switch requiring an electrician. Once the switch was fixed, the electrician could not get the A/C to come on. The same Mid-Cities tech came out and started it in under 3 minutes.And, even with coming out twice for something that was not their issue, they didnt charge me anything!Good work, Mid-Cities!Beth Jones

We recently moved into a new home with older AC and heating units. It was recommended on the inspection that we have tune-ups on all three units. Mid-Cities was very accommodating in scheduling and great communication over the phone. One of the heaters wasnt working and my husband and I were terrified it would be something major, luckily for us the tech, Jonathan, is honest and he easily fixed the problem without charge. All the work was done carefully and thoroughly. Moving to a new city is hard and its not always easy to find trustworthy people right off the bat, but I think we got lucky and found a reliable company for HVAC service. We contacted Mid Cities to receive a proposal for replacing our heating and air conditioning system. A couple of weeks ago the ac at my apartment stopped working I had called the office people multiple times for them to come out and fix it and as most maintenance men do they did a quick fix. After I got tired of the maintenance men doing sever quick fixing I decided to call mid cities. The lady on the phone was very nice and worked with my schedule. I received a phone call letting me know the tech was on the way. When he got there he was very nice and broke it down to where I could understand it. The $65 service call fee was WELL worth it.

Third time using Mid-Cities Air Conditioning over the last 5 years and their most recent visit to the house was as good as their first. Everything about the entire process was a breeze and a pleasure, going exactly as they advised on the phone, during my initial call. Nick, the service tech that came out was friendly, on time and quite knowledgeable, providing valuable insight and advice along the way. I certainly will have no hesitation whatsoever in using them again in the future, nor would I hesitate in recommending them to others. A+++

I love this company! They have been servicing my unit for 4 years. Theyre always here on time. We have one of those anual policies where they come out quarterly and check the unit out and service it. They are so honest, so kind and trustworthy. All of their service men are very respectful and informative. If you need a reliable air conditioner or heater man, this is the company for you!

Courteous, on time. The technician was well dressed. Not the cheapest. I had same service done by another local vendor for a board replacement for my hvac for about $230 less a few months prior. So I paid the $65 service charge and has the work scheduled by a competitor.Addendum: to give the company credit, they did send me a refund for the $65.

My AC broke overnight and I called them. They put me on the cancellation list and I lucked out. They called me 2 hours later. He arrived and have me up and running in less than 45 minutes. Im very grateful and would definitely recommend. Professional, knowledgeable, reliable.

After having bad experiences in the past with AC repair services Im a big believer in checking reviews. My home AC went out this morning and I was impressed with all the 5 star ratings for Mid Cities Air. Now I see why. I called them this morning and they came out exactly when they said they would and Daniel had my AC running within the hour. I will definitely call them again.

Moved into a older home and once spring hit we found an old and musty smell due to a molding air receiving box. Their phone line directed me to schedule an appointment online and their online scheduler accepted my appointment 2 days out at 6am. I received a confirmation later to my email that I was booked. At 6am the day of I was told I am not in Mid-Cities service area. Do not have an online scheduler if you cannot do a basic screening by the address we input.

Our air conditioner stopped blowing cold air over the weekend. I called Mid-Cities Air Conditioning on Sunday afternoon and they were able to schedule a service call for the following day. The window was 4 hours but our tech, Jonathan, was here before the end of the first hour. Jonathan talked to us in laymans terms so that we understood what happened and how he could fix it. He had the air back on within 30 minutes of arriving. He did not try to upsell us to purchase additional parts or warranties and explained the included warranties, which are great. We asked him about programmable thermostats and we were able to purchase one from him while he was here and he had it installed in minutes. Jonathan walked me thru programming it and never once did he seem rushed or bothered by our questions.I will refer everyone Inknow to Mid-Cities Air Conditioning and use them for any other air issues I may have.

Discovered that our AC went out at 11pm and called Mid-Cities Air Conditioning and Heating. They scheduled a technician for 8am. At exactly 8am the next morning they called to let me know the technician, Nick, was on his way. By 9am, he had fixed the AC and charged the system. He was incredibly friendly and engaging. He even pointed me to their online coupon for new customers to save $25. Im very pleased with their service and will call them in the future.

The technician was able to quickly determine the cause of the problem and resolve it. He was patient and professional in answering all of my questions and provided guidance about how to choose the correct thermostat.

Mid-Cities AC provides over the top service and responsiveness. Im an out-of-state landlord. I Called on Friday night after 10pm expecting to leave a message for a return call in the morning. I reached a live person at the answering service who collected very detailed information about my problem. The answering service was even able to schedule an appt for me the next morning. Jpnathan was the service technician, who had a time window of between 10am and 2pm and arrived at 10:30am., well within the alotted time slot. He fixed a fried wire and condenser part in 30 minutes and my tenant is cool again! I have used Mid-Cities for at least 5 years and they have never let me down! I highly recommend Mid-Cities AC for any air or heat repairs you may have. You wont be disappointed!

When it was time for my pre-summer checkup I called Mid-Cities on Saturday afternoon and scheduled an appointment for Monday morning between 8AM and 12PM. They called me at 9AM to tell me they were on their way and showed up 15 minutes later. The service manager Nick and his technician were courteous and professional.While the tech serviced my unit, Nick took the time to inspect my ducts and discuss system replacement options (MY idea as my unit is 18 years old and has a slow leak). There was ZERO pressure to purchase ANYTHING. Just a friendly conversation explaining my options and ways to save money.Ive had Mid-Cities out twice and have been more than pleased both times. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends and neighbors!

My husband found Mid Cities Air Conditioning through a google search this summer when we woke to 80plus temps inside. They got us in that very morning and had repaired our unit before 10:30. I love that they not only gave us a time frame of when theyd arrive, but also called when they were on their way. Nick, who serviced our unit was very nice and explained what was wrong, gave us options and was prepared to repair the air-conditioner right then. We signed up for their biannual service there on the spot because we were so pleased.

Jonathan was there fast! Early for the appointment. Went above and beyond. Was very thorough and patient explaining to me all that was going on. During a stressful time I - at least - feel like I am getting great service and great pricing.

My experience with mid cities was terrible. the technician nick was out at my house and said I needed to buy a whole new airconditioner and gave me a quote. ( the prices were very high) I didnt feel right about what he had told me so I got a second opinion. The other company came out and had it fixed and up and cooling for under $200 and said it should still have several years left. I was stuck in the heat for 3 days and almost made the mistake of spending thousands of dollars when it was a simple repair. I would not recommend this service company to anyone and there are others out there doing the right thing.

We have used MidCities for several years and have been very happy with all aspects of their work and customer service. Their scheduled maintenance program works great for our home and family and all of their equipment is top notch.

We had an air conditioning unit that was not working and called Mid-Cities for a second opinion on what needed to be done. The first company told us that the air conditioning system had no freon and the compressor was leaking oil. Solution was to replace the whole system! Jonathon checked the system and found there was freon in the system and the compressor was good. Jonathan found the problem to be a defective circuit board which was a several hundred dollar fix as compared to the several thousand dollar system replacement proposed by the other company. Jonathan and Mid-Cities definitely won us over with their honest approach to customer support!

I was having issues with my blower motor, the relay for the blower motor and a clogged drain. Over a few weeks I had appointments with Nick and Daniel. Both technicians were very knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient. Mid-cities has been one of the best customer service experiences that i have had. They even went the extra mile to find out if my A/C unit was under warrantee to save me some roughly $600. If youre having any HVAC issues, give them a call!

I had an unexpected issue with my AC today. I called Mid-Cities Air Conditioning and Nick was at my house within 30 mins. I was completely shocked and impressed. Nick was great and went straight to work. He explained the cost and what needed to be done. He went above and beyond my expectations. I would recommend Mid-Cities Air Conditioning to anyone!!!

The person that came to the house was very polite. The AC unit needed freon. He added it but the valve broke when he removed the hose; he didnt have a replacement. He just put the plastic cap back on and told me that would be good enough. I would have expected they would have more parts available and better service for $240 ($65 which are just for showing up/service call). Not sure I will be calling them again.

I called to schedule an appointment. She asked me a bunch of questions, and I asked her if they could come today. She stated she didn’t know. I told her I would like to know if they can make it today because if not I need to call someone else. She said ok and hung up on me. I have many properties, and multiple companies. I will not use them again for any.

On time, very fast diagnostic and fix. Reasonable $65 service call fee which they claim will be good for 2 weeks just in case. Which gives piece of mind. Only issue and reason I did not give 5 stars was the part price was a bit outreagious. Charged over $190 for a $10 part. However Im sure this is in line with industry practices.

This business installed a new American Standard A/C & Heat system in my house. They showed up on time and professionally removed my 30 yrs old worn out system and installed the new stuff in six hours flat. Mid cities A/C is the place to go for your HVAC needs. Most honest place in town!

I have used Mid Cities Air Conditioning for seasonal maintenance and emergency issues. They are always efficient, polite and professional. From the initial phone call to the service technician performing the necessary work, I am always satisfied. Customer service was over and beyond what i was ever expecting. My husband pulled the typical i can fix it and unfortunately he made problems worse, so i googled for companies and decided to call Mid-Cities. Not only was the pricing reasonable, they have after hour service calls. I fell under neath that category. Emergency service calls are a bit pricey, but they had my problem fixed in under an hour! i will never go with anyone else, hopefully next time i have an emergency it doesnt fall under the after hours service call!

I called mid-day and by 4PM we had a technician (Nick) at our house working on solving the issue. Nick was super professional and went out of his way to correct our problem so we had heat for Thanksgiving! We have used this company several times to maintain our heater and AC. They are always professional, prompt, and very communicative. Theyve adjusted to our schedule when needed and have always fixed the problem on their first trip out.

I called on 97 degree day with a dead AC. Kayla (who could not have been nicer) answered and told me shed do her best to get someone out that same day.... Not 20 minutes later she called me back to tell me a tech would be at my house soon.The tech (Zachary) came in and quickly diagnosed and replaced the bad part, and checked that the rest of my system was operating properly. I could not have been more pleased and will definitely be calling them again when my AC needs attention.

My air conditioning went out in the middle of the night. I called Mid-Cities AC around 5:30am. and was really please someone answered. The person on the phone gave us a time frame as early as possible and a technicians name Daniel Perron. I was amazed they called me at 8:30am that he was on his way. Daniel arrived shortly after and was very knowledgeable and professional. He was able to diagnose the problem with in a few minutes. I was needed a fan motor so he located me one and returned with the motor and had my AC up and running before the heat of the day. I would recommend Mid-Cities AC to anyone. I am comfortable in a nice cool house being able to write this to share to anyone that is looking for a reliable company.

Nick came out to our home on a Saturday and fixed us right up. I was so lucky that the previous owner of our home had Mid Cities AC install the unit and it was still under warranty; so i didnt have to pay a dime. Talk about a blessing.

I called at 1:30pm and they said they would be out by 4, and would call first. I got a call after sitting at the office waiting for 2 hours, at 3:30pm to tell me they don’t work on Ac units in the roof. I own 4 companies, and have more things I need to do than sit and wait for someone to not show up. Lady on the phone was nice, but not very knowledgeable of her business. Three times I asked her a question she had to ask a manager while I was in hold which probably explains her not telling me they don’t service rooftop AC’s which is very odd since many are.

Ive never used Mid Cities before. I called, the operator was professional, set up the time for the technician and was polite.Zac arrived very professional, took care of the problem, was very educated in his line of work.Will definitely refer Mid Cities Electric and use them for future purposes.Tommy

At first I was fairly pleased with the work, but things have continued to go downhill. My A/C died on July 4th evening, I called the next morning and a technician was out before noon that day. That was a great sign. Turned out the compressor in my outdoor unit had ruptured, it was a 15-year old one so we decided I should just replace the entire thing. Got on the schedule and they came out a couple days later to install the new unit.Everything seemed to go smoothly on the install, and aside from a few stray screws in the driveway (I picked them up before they wound up in a tire) everything was working well when they left. The City came out next day to inspect the installation and found a couple of minor issues, leaking air around the ducting and the drain lines were running uphill. Same day a tech came back out and fixed those issues, inspector okd the fixes.Roughly 2 weeks later, I discovered some water inside my wall and found that the A/C was dripping water outside the drain pan. Called that evening and there was a tech out first thing the next morning. Turned out the Air Handler had a leaky coil that had frozen and when it thawed there was too much water. They replaced the coil and everything was working great. They even agreed to have a contractor come out and fix the water damage to my walls.This is where things start to go off the rails. A month later the contractor still hadnt been by to fix the water damage. I finally got a call that they were free all day the next day, and that evening I discovered that there was water running down inside the wall again. Go look, it looks like the Air Handler is dripping water in the same spot, and the drain pan was COMPLETELY FULL. So something is not draining properly and leaking again.Called the number and they will have another technician out tomorrow sometime to look at it, but I am starting to run out of patience. Luckily these extra visits seem to be covered under warranties, but I never had these leaks with my old unit. Something was not installed properly and/or I am getting some very low-quality parts. I am tired of this dragging on and I would like for my A/C unit to just work again...I will update my review after they come look at the leak again, I am giving them the 2 stars because of the prompt return service and the wonderful technicians I get to see, over and over...UPDATE - the leak issue was apparently due to the drain being clogged with algae and other growth. Blowing out the drain helped it drain, Nick also adjusted the float sensor to cut off the unit if the drain backs up again. I am adding more stars in because the customer service has certainly been stellar this entire time. Yes I am frustrated that the unit has had a few issues, but Mid-Cities Air has been super-responsive and always takes care of the issues.

I am a new home owner at a house they recently serviced. The system was old and not in good condition. After moving in we immediately had issues with the system that they verified to be in good condition. A sopping floor and damaged ceiling later and I tried to reach out to them. They refused to talk to me at first, left me on hold for over 30 minutes and then called back from a private number and wouldnt respond to any questions. Privacy I get, but then she threatened me and my personal business saying they were better than me and my ratings were lower then hers. She then threatened that if I said anything online about her company and this interaction she would go online and complain about my company fraudulently.What company does that? Why cant they fix what they didnt fix initially? Why did I deserve to be threatened? I hope you dont use a company that would ever treat another person this way...smh

Mid Cities was a Godsend. The technician was clean and on time. Very courteous, explaining everything throughout the repair. They were able to repair my electric furnace and get it heating my home again on the coldest day of the year! Called others, chose mid cities air conditioning!

We just bought a house here in Grapevine and the previous owner put in a full A/C and Furnace with Mid Cities 7 years ago. I was told by the previous owner that he had a few years left on the full warranty and it is transferrable. As luck may have it I had an issue where the furnace was short cycling(briefly turning on and off). I called Mid Cities and spoke to Michaela in their office fully expecting to have at least some kind of deductible or trip charge. Well to my surprise, she said no we’ll send someone out today and there’s no charge at all. You have the full parts and labor 10 year warranty. As a new homeowner that was music to my ears! Nick was the technician who serviced the furnace. He is very knowledgeable and answered some questions I had. He worked his magic and when done asked me to sign a $0.00 bill at the end. My furnace has been running great ever since. I wanted to spread the word as I moved here a few years ago from WI and I didn’t know any HVAC people here. Mid Cities proved to me that they are a business that prides itself on integrity. If you’re shopping around all I can say is give them a shot as they showed their true colors to me and honored there side of things 7 years later.That kind of integrity shows to me that they dont overcharge the customer and look at keeping customers long term.Jared J.

First time ive used them. they gave a time frame of between 10 and 2 on the same day. that was impressive. they called half hour before nick showed up which was 12. nick spotted the problem right away. i told him i wanted the inside unit cleaned. he said it would be about $400. i cringed. he looked at the unit and said it looked and sounded good and didnt really need to be cleaned. so he was in and out by 1230. zip zop, done. very impressive. i signed up for the preventive maintenance thing. these guys are good.

I scheduled a summer tuneup under my service policy. Jacey was the technician and he was prompt and on time. He appeared to be knowledgeable and showed me why my capacitor was getting weak. I was charged $262.00 for a new one and after he left I learned that I could buy one locally for $20 to $40 from retail stores. Personally I think $222.00 is too much for a service call which was supposed to be free under my annual service contract.It was the 2nd service call that morning and on the truck I saw another used capacitor under mine. Does that mean that they always find something wrong and charge high prices for replacement parts?

In this heat, I was told buy a local company that my AC unit that just quit working needed to be replaced. A condenser and coil to the tune of $8,000! Mid Cities came out for a second opinion and come to find out, it was a $250 part! Thats all! Mid Cities is so honest and explains everything to you. I highly highly recommend them!

Arrived early. Called me before they showed up. Nice tech clean cut. Fixed the problem. Coolant isnt cheap when your 6 pounds low. Only complaint 5% military discount really thats it. Especially when bills are 600.00.

Inspected our AC unit due to water leak. I was afraid they would say I need a new unit even if I didn’t just to sell. But the technician was honest in saying the unit does not have any issues. It ended up being a plumbing issue. They also will come back to re-inspect the unit (at no cost) if the water leak happens again within 2 weeks. I would definitely use them again.

Had called Mid Cities AC for 2nd opinion after OC service had quoted me for a new condenser unit. Jonathan was through, and root caused it to a shorting in the line, which needed to be fixed first. OC had known about that issue, but steered me for a complete unit replacement.I am so glad that I called Mid Cities AC. They were honest, and through in their investigation. One of their senior techs, I think his name was Eric, also stopped by, and devised a clever way to fix the issue. The company did a great job to ensure the safety of their customer and employees during the COVID-19 quarantine. Jonathan was amazing, he was very diligent with keeping our home and himself safe. Highly recommended.

Used them for a couple years. A little expensive, but reliable. Today they came out for semi-annual service, and now both my A/C systems are down. Yesterday both were working fine.They recommended replacing everything for $$$$s, of course. They wont be welcome back at my house.

Two days ago, our AC stopped working. Not fun in humid, North Texas heat. It couldnt have been worse timing. We are a single income family, paying for grad school, with two small children, and medical expenses. Finances are tight. We figured that the unit just needed freon, as it was still blowing just not cold. We called Mid-Cities AC to come out and take a look. They charged the $65 service fee. First they told us that our capacitor was bad, and that would cost around $300. So they hooked up a new capacitor to make sure that would fix the problem. It did not. So they told us that not only was the capacitor bad, but there was a locked rotor which meant that our entire AC unit needed to be replaced. They informed us that the most basic replacement would cost over $8,000. Note that we live in a 1400sf house and have a 3 ton unit. They were quick to tell us that could give us third party credit at nearly 10% interest, payments nearing $200 a month for five years. These people were friendly enough, but the news was a nasty shock. I spent the entire day trying to figure out, through tears, how we were going to afford this.Long story long, I made a few calls. We got several other quotes around $5,000 for full replacement for a house our size. $3,000 difference from Mid-Cities ACs quote. I looked up the unit they were trying to sell us and it was suited for houses much larger than ours.We called someone else to come out for a second opinion. They came out that same day. In under an hour, they had our AC running working perfectly for.. drum roll please.... $160!!! Furthermore, they told us that our capacitor was indeed working properly. They told us that they had heard other complaints about this company, and others in the area, who avoid repair in lieu of expensive replacement. Understandable, its how they make their money. Unethical - absolutely. I understand that our unit is old, and there are no guarantees about how long it will continue run. It will probably need to be replaced in the upcoming years. But not today. I couldnt be more thankful to the OTHER company for saving us.

Would highly recommend Mid Cities for all of your a/c and heating repairs. We have been with them over 12 years. We just recently had new systems installed. Very happy with install and clean up afterwards.

Very prompt response and punctual on timePricing is very expensive. They charged me $65 for service call/ Diagnostic fee and then technician stated there is a leak and would have to run a leak test to further diagnose the issue. The leak test was $221.Essentially ended up paying $286 + taxes for a 30 minute drill.Why would you double up on diagnostic charges ? Doesn’t make sense.

The tech came out quickly and replaced a capacitor and the AC was cooling again. It was a very expensive capacitor, $265; and dont forget the service fee. If the capacitor was less expensive I would have tipped the tech. Still great service and fast turn around.

This company was outstanding. Very courteous and respectful from the initial phone call to the end of the service I needed. The technician Nick was very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing and the cost. Would recommend this company to anyone.

We had a 1pm appointment for them to show up to our house. At 1:35pm the gentleman arrived with beer on his breath. After checking out our unit he informed us that we would need to replace our entire inside unit and would have to go call and work up a price. We were told that it would be between 3k - 4k depending on the unit we went with. Being that it wasnt cold or hot outside, we decided to get a second opinion. The second opinion replaced our electric fan within the inside unit for 200.00 parts and labor, everything has been working great since. Caveat emptor!

The company was very responsive. They were able to schedule an appointment right away. The technician was polite and thorough with his work. The price is reasonable. I recommend them.

The technicians are always very skilled, very knowledgeable and very informative. Mid cities air conditioning is also much quicker at getting a technician out than most other places. By far the best hvac service company around!

Been using Mid Cites for years. Upfront on prices and various options during those times when preventative maintenance or repairs are warranted. Technicians arrive at the appointment time. Careful and considerate of your home.

My upstairs unit couldnt keep up with the heat and stayed up above 78 most of the day. Downstairs unit was ok and always stayed at 76 as set. I called Mid-Cities for a checkup on my A/C and they sent Johnathan out couple days later to check on my units. After doing all testing, Johnathan told me that my upstairs unit was low on Freon. The downstairs unit was also low, but not much to be concerned about. I told him just do what he needed to do to get the units running good again. After everything was done, he confirmed that the upstairs unit was filled with 1.5 lbs. of R410A and advised me to let the system running overnight and give him a call back if the problem still exists. The next day, upstairs temperature was still up in 78. I called back and they sent out another tech. After doing all checking, he told my wife that the downstairs unit was short in Freon which I found hard to believe because the unit downstairs could go down to 74 when I set it to. I told him to forget about it for I would seek a second opinion because I couldnt trust them no more.In a response to the owners message, I just dont trust anybody that you would send out to touch my units anymore. I am sorry, but it was a bad experience for me. Turn out the problem was not with the downstairs unit, it was because the aluminum fins around the condenser units was dirty and clogged up preventing proper ventilation. Another A/C guy that I called a few days later had thoroughly cleaned up the condensing units and voila my temperature inside the house has been ok ever since. With the temperature outside was soaring above 109, my house stayed 75 thru out the day both up and down stairs.

I have been with Mid Cities for 2 years, using their seasonal maintenance, they have always been very helpful and there service technician, Nick, was great. I use them at both my home and my business, great customer service and reasonable pricing.

I found this place on a Google search when I woke up one morning and realized my heater wasnt working. It was a very cold day & the house was freezing. So I called around 7:30 & was told the first available appt was 10:30. They called to tell me he was on his way at around 10:45 and Nick arrived here around 11. He figured out the igniter was bad and was able to replace it with a universal part that he had on hand. The whole visit took around 30 min and he even stayed to make sure heater was working and that the temp in the house was going up. Very pleased with their service. Loved that they answer phones at all hours and I was able to get a same day appt 3 hours after I called. Nick was nice and explained all charges to me & I felt it was very reasonably priced
