Service one Air Conditioning Heating and Plumbing

The best air conditioner company Ive had so far. They are so fast at responding, I had to tell them I didnt want an appointment so soon lol. The tech, Kenny, was very knowledgeable. He explained everything he was going to do and told me in very simple terms the repairs needed and how it was going to improve my unit. They left my house with the air conditioner blowing super cold!

This company exceeded my expectations. As a perfectionist this is very hard to do. My heating stopped working just before New Years holiday. After making my request for service with my home warranty company, Mandy from Service One immediately reached out to me to schedule my appointment. Wiley arrived the following day to diagnose the heating element kit was no longer operative and needed to be replaced. He took all the information, the part was ordered. They worked diligently even during the holiday to get my part ordered and installed the following day of the New Year holiday. Kenny was able to follow up with the installation and get everything working properly and resolved any issues. Mandy and Brandon kept me updated on everything along the way. The dispatch manager Bobbie immediately followed up after the installation. Literally, within less than 30 minutes of the completed repair to make sure that everything went well and that I was satisfied. This company worked expeditiously to make sure that I was pleased with everything along the way and took proper care of my homes interior which is extremely important to me as well as most as I can imagine. For the reasons stated in my comments above, I feel highly confident in recommending this company. I can only assume with the service that they provided me, if there were any issues along the way with any of their services they provide that they would make sure they reached out and did anything they could to make the repair right and the customer happy. Again, they totally exceeded my expectations and I will definitely utilize their services in the future.

When my heat would not work I messaged Service One online at 3 am for a service call. They called me first thing in the morning before their listed office hours to help me right away. The nicest lady on the phone reassured me & said they will have someone out that same afternoon. I got a text telling me who was coming & when. Even providing tracking of the service technician. Spencer showed up right on time if not a bit earlier than expected. He was the nicest and found the issue within minutes. It was minor and he showed us what happened & explained everything. I have called Service One in the past for my A/C & now I trust them completely for all my HVAC needs. It’s excellent service from start to finish.

John, the technician, was great! He explained in detail what the issues were, did a quick turnaround, and set me up to do additional, must needed work, that saved me money in the long run. They were not only able to come out to fix our heater on a Saturday (ahead of an arctic blast), the tech they sent was top notch and female too! Edith was prompt, knowledgeable and friendly. Never had a tech provide.so much knowledge about what was wrong and how it was fixed. Even mentioned the work was under warranty. Great service!

This company went above and beyond to make sure we had heat when we are facing temps in the teens coming in. I have a baby in the house and they were able to ensure we were good for the night. Service one came out for 2 separate issues we had this summer with our AC and quickly resolved both issues. They were very communicative and helped me understand the issues with the AC. Kenny came out the second time, and he was extremely helpful. He’s very knowledgeable and professional, and stayed an extra 15 minutes talking to me answering A TON of questions I had for him. He was honest in his answers and I could really tell he genuinely wanted to help me. 10/10 for me!

Steve was very professional, kind and informative throughout our repair process of not having heat on the coldest night this year. This was my first experience with Service One. The technician, Josh, was on time, very polite, efficient, and knowledgeable. My furnace inspection went smoothly with no major issues. However, Josh pointed out that my furnace did not have a flow switch. Rather than wait until Spring, I moved forward with the installation of the flow switch. At the end of the service call, Josh explained everything to me as well as showed me before and after pictures of the repairs. Well done, Josh!

I would highly recommend Service One! I called my home warranty company and they assigned Service One. Service One called to schedule a technician within the hour and scheduled me same day! (This is unheard of these days) I must hilight Wiley was amazing 👏 he is the best technician Ive ever had Service my home. Fast response to pre-season heat checkup through American Home Shield. Wiley was our tech and he was awesome! He was informative, thoughtful, patient and kind. He gave suggestions to keep our system in tip top shape, shared thoughts on things to do in the future to increase air quality. Wiley and Service One rock!

Glad we had the service contract with Service One! Having them come out to assess the issue and scheduling the repair was a breeze. Edith came out and quickly identified the issue. The Service One team kept us informed on what the next steps were and quickly located the part and scheduled another technician to come out and complete the repair. Service One uses a nifty GPS app to keep you in the loop on when their techs will arrive. Upon arrival, Steve explained the process and completed the service in a professional and timely manner. Five star service all the way around!

I am not one to be impressed with HVAC companies. Our past experience has taught us to be cautious. With the new 2025 EPA regulations being put in place soon, we knew it was time to activate our American Home Shield warranty to see what our options were for replacing our 22 year old unit.After researching MULTIPLE local HVAC companies, checking their reviews and calling to ask questions, we knew we were finally in good hands when Service One came out. Bobbie talked us through all of the options, made good recommendations, and helped us understand what would be best for the layout and square footage of our home. It was not an easy sale, but Bobbie was patient as we figured out how to pay for a whole new system before the end of the year. And when the time was right, she made the numbers work so that everyone was happy.A couple things I really appreciated about this process:1) Service One came out, onsite, to our home to look around, check our old unit, and help us troubleshoot why some areas of our home werent cooling and why the temperatures were so inconsistent throughout the house. They made suggestions to add a few more intake vents and seal up some of our existing ductwork, and now looking back, Im so glad they did.2) The day before the install, Mike came out to our house, proactively, to confirm that all of the measurements were correct and we wouldnt have any unforeseen issues getting the new HVAC unit to fit down the hallway or into the existing HVAC closet. He was so friendly and it was clear that he knew exactly what he was doing, a seasoned professional.3) The day of install, Lary was great. He was on time, professional, he cleaned up his work areas, and overall we really enjoyed having him in our home. He showed us how to work our new, modern thermostat and made sure everything was set up properly before he and team left for the day.4) The part that really blew us away was when we had some weird, unexpected problems with the new unit (mainly due to our existing wiring and foundation), Wiley came out and absolutely went ABOVE AND BEYOND to figure out what was going wrong and figure out how he could fix it. Both Wiley and Spencer really took their time, they made us feel like they were working on a unit in their own home, thats how thoughtful and attentive they were. Wiley was not leaving until the job was done and we are SO APPRECIATIVE of his extra efforts.Overall, we have been extremely satisfied with the service we received during our first experience working with Service One. I would happily have each and every one of these folks working on our HVAC system any day.Service One earned our business and our trust because they did the job right. I am so glad we found them!

I am extremely satisfied with the service I received.After a Horrible experience with Air Rescue Mechanical, that left us in worse condition than before, Service One Air absolutely rescued us by arriving hours later & doing a temporary fix to cover us thru a hot Sunday.From the moment they called, their customer service was attentive, kind and considerate.They scheduled a SAME day SATURDAY appointment, and the technician arrived promptly as promised. Ian was super helpful with finding out the problem and coming up a solution that was within a reasonable price range that wouldn’t hurt the pockets. Ian was a respectful man with integrity, honesty and respect!! Always my go to company for hvac and plumbing problems!10/11/24Kenny was quick and thorough with the repairs. Our upstairs was back up and running within half an hour!

Ive had to use these guys a couple times now for different issues, both times the technicians arrived on schedule, did the job well, and followed up on any issues or work that was done. Had a same day diagnostic appointment with Kenny to help locate a leak that another company couldnt find. He worked diligently to track it down and root cause my issue. Showed up right on time and went over everything with me afterwards. Definitely recommend giving them a call if you need HVAC work.

Service One will be my go to service provider for all my AC needs. They were able to send a technician the same day as my call! Ian arrived on time and I was well informed regarding his arrival time. He was knowledgeable and was able to diagnose and fix my AC issue quickly. He explained in detail what the issue was and what he was going to do to fix it.

My a/c compressor went out this past weekend. I filed a claim with American home shield, and as usual, they gave us a hard time. Luckily, service one stepped up and helped us replace our entire unit instead of just putting a bandaid on a bigger problem. Brandon and Corey came and replaced it this morning. Went above and beyond to make sure everything was working as it should. Even helped fix things that the previous company that AHS sent did wrong. Highly recommend.

Kenny was very timely and professional. He came in and diagnosed the problem and had our unit up and running within an hour and a half. We went through a warranty company and he knew which parts would be covered and which wouldn’t and helped us decide how to proceed.

Steve was skilled, punctual, efficient, and friendly. I am very happy with the service and will be calling the company again for future work.

I am very impressed with Service One Air Conditioning because not only were they on top of our problem almost immediately, but they expedited the installation of our new system. They offered us a great price, and they were so professional - every single person was awesome!! Thank you for attending to our cooling needs when we were without cooling during the hot summer days of August.

The repair itself was fine, but the crew left a big mess on my garage with pieces of cardboard, insulation from the attic, and even screws all over the garage floor. Not very professional for the $2k I had to pay for the repair. I would figure that would cover cleaning up a job site, but I guess not.

Had Service one air come out to diagnose my AC troubles. Started out great, the tech knew the issue and started to pull out my blower motor. In the process he stepped through the ceiling creating the hole you see in the picture. After making sure the technician was ok he continued to try to fix my ac problem. The technician had to take my ac blower to try and find a part for it. Hours later he returned saying the warranty company denied the claim and it would cost $1000 to repair the issue. At that time the technician told me that the company would take care of the damaged ceiling and i trusted that to be the case. He did mention that since this was through a warranty company Service One Air Conditioning was losing money on this and that he couldnt do anything else. Before the technician left he gave me the number for the manager to contact about fixing the hole in my ceiling. I called and was told that it was my fault that he fell through the ceiling. They are refusing to repair the hole, stating that I had an unsafe working environment in my attic. This company is apparently very unethical and refuses to fix an issue they created and already agreed to fix. Would not recommend.To clarify for the response. I never had anyone other than me fall through the ceiling, I did that while installing attic decking. The technician stepped through the one place in the attic without decking. The technician, while on speaker with a lady from your office explained that he had just fallen through the ceiling. The lady from the office said ok dont worry about it, we will take care of it. I assumed at the point that meant yall would fix it. And if that wasnt assurance enough the technician told me that yall would fix it.The technician left a number to call and told me to speak to a manager. The technician told me to call the following day before 4pm, because the manager wasnt there after this time. I called and left a message with a lady that told me a manager would call me back. The manager called me back and told me that not only would they not be fixing the damage but that it was my fault, that I created an unsafe working environment. The manager who has never seen the attic in question or even the damage that his technician caused. I repeat that this is a slimy business with no ethics. You cause a problem and try every which way to make it seem like the owner is at fault.I had the issue fixed the following week from a different company and they did not fall through the ceiling. Just so people know that it was possible to work in this attic without causing damage.

I can’t say enough good things about Service One! Everyone is super responsive and their techs are amazing. I called this morning after they were dispatched by my home warranty and I literally had an appointment booked within 5 minutes for the same day. Josh and Wiley quickly diagnosed the problem with my unit and had it fixed in minutes! Wiley even went the extra mile to check my other unit in advance of the hot temps coming this weekend. This is the second time they have done work at my home and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Service one has always been my go to when it comes to my ac unit.. and it wasn’t ever great.. but I can honestly tell you I have never had the service like I did today by Mr.Wiley (service technician) he was awesome and amazing all the way around! He was very thorough in explaining everything to me and walked me through what he was doing and completed. When I say he went above and beyond! WILEY did all! Thank you sir! Kenny M. was unbelievably knowledgeable about more than just HVAC. I understand he hasn’t been with Service One quite as long as some of the other techs, but wow!! They nailed it when they found him!He had the right tools, know-how and thought outside the box when it came to figuring out what might be wrong with the unit.Kenny quickly determined that this was (unfortunately for me) a problem with the overall elect. wiring in the house.He even had the parts and know how to resolve the problem at the breaker box, until he traced the issue to the wiring. (Too bad he wasn’t able to completely resolve it- only because it’s going to require a licensed electrician.)I always have such great service from Service One Air since they replaced my unit a couple years ago. But on top of the consistently amazing service from them, I greatly appreciated meeting Kenny today. He is exceptionally bright, industrious, eager to help, and moreover, he is respectful, conscientious about cleanliness, and aware that he is in your home. But highest point of praise is deserved because despite being required to work in a 125°-145° attic, Kenny somehow still displays empathy towards grumpy, sweltering homeowners who are suffering through 106°-110° August weather sans AC! (Must be hard to bite your tongue sometimes!! 😂😂😂)Nevertheless- thanks for your help. I’ve been grateful for Service One and their very competent team over the past couple years.

Worst service I have ever experienced!Service None was an American Home Shield selection and neither provided service.I should have known when the tech that showed up warned me to follow up with the office, as “they are slow to complete paperwork”.Then Service None and AHS just keep throwing each other under the bus which just punishes me the customer.Of course Service None in their true colors promises me a call back on Saturday by the associate who can apparently do something and of course that call never comes.The only time Service None actually called me was to get my credit card number.Between the lack of services, broken promises and lies - why would you use this companyResponse to the “its not our fault” response.You will now see the owners response below throwing the home insurance provider under the bus yet his own tech told me I should follow up as the office usually doesnt follow through very quickly and that was the primary delay.Whats is even worse is the promises of follow up and resolution by the various office personnel and then the last straw was when the owner Brice stated he would follow through and even reach out to my tenant.Of course he did nothing.When you cant trust the owner, that says it all.The positive ending is I found a very compitent service company who quickly fixed the issues including those left behind by Service one!

From start to finish I had incredible service. First point of contact was hands down the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. I received a quote for a new A/C system, I asked if my representative could come out and take a look since I had more questions, he came out and again, amazing service and helped me with everything I needed. I decided to use Service One to replace my whole system. A major reason I chose Service One was because of the service I received from the minute I made co tact with them. We scheduled it and had my unit installed within a few days. The installer, again, great service! He was on time, professional, prepped my house to prevent as much of a mess as possible, did the install and cleaned up any “mess” that was left over. Walked me through my new system, showed me the changes they made and answered all my questions in a clear simple way.If you’re looking for great service, this is who you want! Well its over 100 degrees outside and the AC doesnt work....First call needs to be to Service1!! Operator/Scheduler Mandy was super and helped to get me a technician out the same day and I was calling after 3 pm. She went out of her way to help me. Technician Weily arrived and quickly fixed the problem at a reasonable price.... everything cool. Thank you Mandy and Weily for all the help. Service 1 is great and I highly recommend them.

The tech Wiley was definitely not out of his element when servicing our A/C unit. Obviously hes not a golfer, but he is a great technician. Courteous, professional and prompt. If I could give it zero stars I would. Service One Air came out to to repair our AC unit. We were told that the primary drain was clogged and that a plumber needed to come out and snake the line. Well, the plumber came out and said it needed to be transferred back to the AC techs. Service One Air came out and said it was a dirty air filter next. Replaced filter and still not fixed. Service One Air also cut the 3/4” pvc piping that went from the AC to the primary drain. When they tried to piece it back together it started leaking and dripped and ran all over the place after they left. My wife called them and told them and said they refused to come back out to our house because it was a plumbing issue. I talked to Allen and this is a well rehearsed script that they have down to a T. It’s almost comical, but anyways he swore to me that the water wasn’t coming out of the pipe they repaired. Look at the pictures and see for yourself. He said all of the connections are glued and no way it was leaking. He said the water was coming from somewhere else. What a joke! Well, just because it’s glued doesn’t mean that it sealed or that it was connected properly. Anyway, we had to call someone else to come fix everything that Service One Air messed up and it ended up costing us $459. The AC is working fine now.

I helped a friend with their two air conditioners. I called American Home Shield on a Sunday afternoon and they sent Steve with Service One Air out before noon the next day. Steve is an exceptionally good AC technician. He is knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient. He fixed both problems within about an hour and got both units up and running. Two days later, the motor failed in the condenser outside on one of the units. He came back within a few hours and replaced the motor, as well as the unit’s related thermostat, which was about 35 years old. On both visits, he did everything that was necessary and nothing that wasn’t.

Steve was awesome! Quick, friendly, thorough and put booties on. He made sure everything was good to go and forwarded me to the right people when it wasn’t an HVAC issue. Climbed on the roof when it was a 100 degree day. Thank you, Steve!

I worked with Wade at Service Once on an issue with a house I just purchased. The master shower wasnt draining and it wasnt a stoppage, but a poor plumbing issue. The first company I called did a no-show so I called Service One and they were out the same day. Wade and his crew knew what needed to be done within an hour. He was upfront about the pricing, helped me with financing, and had his crew out there almost next day completing the work. They did an amazing job, communicating effectively, and had excellent customer service. They are the only plumbers I will use!

I spoke with Mandy at Service Air 1 to get pricing for duct cleaning. She was super quick about getting back with me and scheduling my service and very professional and attentive to my needs. Zack and helper were out early the next day and these guys did a great job. My air was flowing with a quickness and a lot cooler than before the ducts were clean. I recently had Service One ACH and Plumbing repair my old iron lines under the house. Wade did a great job. Took pictures of the entire process and explained it all as we progressed. Jordan was amazing! He has to be one of the most professional tradesmen to ever service our home. When he arrived at the house we made introductions and before he entered he put on his boot covers. (He put the off and on every time he entered or exited the house) Jordan then asked a few questions about our AC issues, diagnosed the problem and had us up and running in no time. Beware this company! We purchased a $17,500 top of the line Rheem HVAC system from Service One two years ago and they have never been able to make it work correctly. There have been literally dozens of service calls for alarms and system failures since the system was installed. Last week, as we sat in an 80 degree home with multiple alarms registering on the system, Alan Davis, the owner of Service One, told us that there was nothing wrong with the system and we were just difficult customers. This was eight days after a Service One technician had cleared the most recent series of alarms and said that the system was cooling correctly. Another company was called and came out immediately. They found a frozen coil, three pounds of excess refrigerant overcharge in the system, loose wiring, an incorrect setting on one of the motherboard dip switches, and leaking duct work. Service One was very professional from my initial scheduling with them up until their follow up call two days after they came out. Doug, the technician that came out, was courteous and very professional and went right to work. He was able to identify the issue with my AC not cooling and took care of it quickly. One thing I dislike about HVAC companies is that they always try to sell you a new unit and tell you that yours is about to fail. Doug was upfront about the possibility of my unit breaking down but did it in a way that didn’t make me feel obliged to get on a call with a salesperson.Service One did a great job and I highly recommend their services.

This has been a pleasure. Ian came out on an AHS check-up. He was early, thorough and did something other AC companies havent, had photos showing issues on my old 17-year system. He gave me a quote to replace the aging system. Service-1 has done an outstanding job in repairing our air units. However, the price to replace a compressor was super expensive. But, the quality of the work was fantastic.

Doug, our technician, was very thorough and went beyond expectations to check our system. It failed to run in the morning, we’d shut it down until Service One could arrive, and it fired right up when Doug started his assessment. This company diagnosed my heating issue to a bad control board that was damaged due to a power surge. Their estimate for a new control board was $1075. When I looked up the control board, I could get it online for about $200. They wanted 5x what I could get it for. I didnt trust them, so I got another AC/Heat company to come out and my issue was a high heat limit switch. When I called Service One Air, their phone number is no longer in service. Stay away from this company, they are not ethical and will try to make you pay for something that is still working. My control board is perfectly fine and my heater is working again, thanks to another reputable company, not Service One Air.

I had and furnace issue where the control board of the HVAC gave up. It is 12 yrs old unit, so it is about time. So, I called my insurance company and they send me these guys. He came and diagnose the issue which is straight forward as the unit does not turn on. Few hours later the insurance company call me for 1075$ bill to change the control board plus labor and 125$ service fees. Asked why the insurance does not cover it, they told me the tech put a report that the controller was hit by lightning so it got burned, the insurance will not cover for that. I said, ok, no issues, first I did not hear any lighting near my house recently, but if that is the case why it is that expensive. The response is they need to do some crazy programming to the unit to make it work and what you get is good deal. OK, that does not make any sense to me. I called another tech, he diagnosed the issue again got me an original NEW control unit from Goodman for 80$ and installed it. I asked if it needs programming. He told me that someone try to play that game with you too, he said with with a smile :) . I tipped the honest man for his good work…Please pay attention working with these guys.

Fast response and very nice. They came out and fixed the fan motor on the outside unit and everything started working fine but later that night it started blowing hot air again. Contacted them 1st thin the next day and they sent a tech out ASAP to fix the issue. A/c is working like a champ now.

Service 1 One came to do a spring check up. John as on time and very knowledgeable. He found a bad capacitor and replaced it before I found it on the first hot day of summer. He’s very polite and I would recommend this service.
