I am pleased with my decision to contact this company. They were very responsive to my request. We set up a time and they arrived on time. Justin and Ryder were polite and kept me informed of what they were doing. They installed a soft start on my A/C and performed the first summer inspection and deep cleaning. They did find a leak related to the evaporator coil which thankfully is under warranty, and will be fixing that soon. Thank you guys!

Texan Mechanical AC & Heating was amazing. I called 2 days before the January 2025 freeze stating that my heater was not working. They had someone out the same day and provided me with different repair/replacement options. Thankfully, Texan Mechanical AC & Heating was able to replace the furnace the next afternoon and we were set for the freezing temperatures. I appreciated their efficiency, their professionalism and friendly team. Definitely plan to use them again if/when needed. Super job!

Ryder the AC technician came out to our home and did heating inspection. He was very respectful and explained the issue at hand and explained what are next steps are to resolve. I called Texan Mechanical on a Friday afternoon at 3 pm with questions about my a/c not cooling. By 6pm they had a tech out to look over the system and make recommendations. I decide on new units the next day and approved the work order and had a Monday morning install appointment. They were fast, clean, knowledgeable, and responsive to my questions. I could not have had a better experience. Yesterday I called to have a tech come out just to follow up and make sure everything is running properly and they had a 8am appointment this morning. Just had our annual AC Cooling Tune Up for both of our households. Texan Mechanical workers are always thorough with their work and are very willing to answer questions we may have on our systems, no matter how minor. They did an amazing job from service to installation. They came out on a Monday to give us a quote and they were there Saturday installing. They were friendly and quick and we love our new system. We are so happy we chose Texan Mechanical & Heating. Last summer was our first in our house and it was terrible. The air conditioning was constantly freezing up, couldnt cool the house, and our electric bill was hitting 600+. We knew we needed to get it fixed for this summer.We had multiple people out to take a look at our system and heard very similar things from each with our evaporator cooler being busted and a recommendation of a whole new unit.We went with Texan Mechanical AC & Heating for a few reasons.1. I had a coworker who highly recommended them and word of mouth is always valuable.2. Price - honestly this was huge as it was several thousand less that some of their competitors. I think as a family business they are able to offer some really good pricing compared to a couple of bugger names who clearly were trying to take advantage of us.3. Personality - When meating with Justin, the technician who evaluated our system, I never felt pressured to do anything, to get the most expensive system, etc. Also, during the evaluation, he noticed a small issue that was probably worsening our problem and fixed it while he was up their before even talking to us about sales.When the AC system was installed, everything went great. They arrived on time and completed everything very quickly. Honestly, I would barely have know anything was happening if it werent for the fact the AC wasnt on. At the end, Justin who I had originally met with also came and inspected the system, went over everything with me, and double checked a couple of our primary areas of concern to make sure everything was working.In general, it really felt like they genuinely cared about not just our business but also our comfort and happiness. In the week since its been installed, weve gone from barely being able to keep the house in the 70s to it now being cold enough my daughter is complaining that she needs a blanket to keep her feet warm on the couch.We couldnt be happier and between the service, quality, and price I dont see how we could have made a better choice in what company to have replace our AC system.

These guys are amazing, I called on Monday at 9AM, and Justin was able to come over to check the unit by 12:30PM, he got the diagnostic, and explained everything about the issue, the cost and that it was covered under the manufactory warranty, he spoke with the guys at the office who then contacted me and explained how everything works and by when they will be able to fix the issue, 2 days later Carlos got home with his Team and let me tell you these guys know what are they doing, amazing clean, fast, and knowledge about their job. I will definitely recommend them for any job at your property.

When he was through I asked him to check something unrelated to my heating system and he did so immediately and found a problem with the A/C unit and suggested a fix. We recently had a bit of an emergency situation where our AC unit was leaking into the house downstairs. You guys sent out Justin to us, and I just have to say that I couldnt be happier that you did. Justin did a VERY thorough job identifying the issue and then making sure he looked at every possible reason the issue could have occurred and resolving issues we didnt even know we did. He truly went above and beyond by putting in extra fixes to make sure it wont happen again. Furthermore, he was sure to explain each step of the process and why we were looking at it. He took pictures of each issue and then the fix to show what was done, why it was done, and what that meant. We called Texan after having a negative experience trying to use our home warranty contractor. Texan made time to get someone over to diagnose and get the repair completed the same day. Just last week January 6, 2025 on the coldest day in 2025 our Heater went out. I called Texan Mechanical at 8:00 am and Kristin answered ( I did not know that she and hubby were out of town celebrating their Anniversary) but she called me back in less than 5 minutes and said that Cristian would be here between 11:00 am and 1: 00 PM. A few minutes later I got a text from Cristian saying he would be here in a few minutes. He was here at 9:00 a.m. We had a Bad Pressure Switch ...Cristian had to go get the part in Sugarland and he was back here in 15 minutes. The part was replaced and low and behold our House was Warm again. I am so happy to have it back on and so pleased that we chose to get the Service Plan. We are now Platinum Members. So well worth it as my husband and I are in our early 70s and having AC and Heating when we need it most in Houston, Tx is a PLUS...Not to Mention Their Generator Services. Originally called to have my outside AC unit checked due to head on collision with a rider lawnmower and unit was displaced. Concerned about damage. Technician came right out moved the unit back to its original place, checked all the wiring, connections etc and also came inside to check the AC and was very thorough educating me on things I should be aware of. I am happy to sign up with a maintenance plan so I will feel more confident with the care of my unit.

Wow! What can I say about what a great company this is! They are very prompt and professional. I highly recommend.

Cristian performed a thorough service on the heating system. Additionally replaced an old gas line connecting tube by a new (yellow) flex tube. Also, checked the ducts, found a loose duct collar and fixed it and sealed and tied properly.

So my central air unit has been hobbled together for some years now. Recently after 18 years of service, it finally kicked the bucket. Texan Mechanical has been my service provider for the better part of 3-4 years and every single time I call I am able to have my issue resolved in a timely manner. So with our Texas heat wave and everyone on my block having an AC truck parked outside their house, I figured my family is gonna have to tough it out as the weekend was upon us. After being walked through all possible scenarios to fix our issue we decided to pull the trigger on a whole unit replacement. Again, thinking my family will have to hunker down for the weekend Texan Mechanical had a team out the very next morning and we were up and running by the afternoon. For the first time in our house the temperature can actually sustain itself and even drop lower if we lower the temperature! This is the reason why we stuck by using Texan Mechanical. They respond super fast and always have multiple avenues of solutions. I think the longest our system has been down over the years has been one maybe two days on a rare occasion. I’ve had the same techs show up at our house and they usually remember the weird quirks our system used to have. So it is nice not always having some new face and explaining the years of work that has been done thus far. Oh and definitely sign up for a discount package. It pays for itself in no time. Can’t take a gamble with 100+ degree summers.

They were able to do an assessment, and tell me the issue in less than 30 mins. They worked to get me the part by the next day. I took off a star because of one snafu. It took me a while to understand the newer HVAC technology and owner Mike was very patient. We purchased the Amana inverter system and consistent temperatures out of all ducts, very quiet, easy to control thermostat.Install was 1 day and aside from the system had a few ducts replaced and all elevated.Overall couldn’t be happier.P.S. we entertained the big 3 companies and Texan Mechanical was still more cost effective and very responsive for an after install adjustment of the baffle system. Zoning was the ultimate solution for all homes but baffle adjustment works great and saves about 3-6K walk out cost. The outdoor condenser is half the size of other companies and less intrusive.

My AC stopped cooling on 6/22 in the evening and I was able to have someone sent out the next day 6/23. Justin was on time, very helpful, explained what he was doing and how the parts interacted to cool/why this particular part was an issue. He replaced the part quickly and stayed for a little while after to make sure everything was cooling. Very happy with my experience.

I have used Texan Mechanical AC & Heating for several years now ever since I lived in Pecan Grove. We have since moved into Houston proper and they STILL come out like clockwork to perform preventative maintenance services on my unit (check heating in the fall and cooling in the spring). Michael and Kristin (and my usual tech, Justin) are amazing people and willing to do everything they can to earn and keep your business. The most important thing I can extol here is that they are HONEST. They dont try and upsell you, they dont try and use scare tactics to pressure you into purchasing things that you dont need and they are willing to honor prices even if was a long time ago that they gave a quote and prices have gone up since. Had an issue with the wiring of our Nest Thermostat which was causing the heater not to work. We really appreciate that they were able to come out SAME DAY and also had the part we needed with them. The repair was complete in a little over an hour. Associates were very knowledgeable, professional and respectful of our home. I have had a very bad experience due to customer service, I felt I was treated as I didn’t deserve to be talked to nicely. I will make sure my family and friends don’t ever use this service.I didn’t include everything you said to me so let me do that. You disrespected me on the phone. You didn’t include that in your reply. I was honest and trusted your company but you don’t have a good customer service, when I asked for manager u told I am the manager/owner. Paying $75 was much better then going through this. So please don’t act like you didn’t do anything wrong.

Service was very fast and courteous. However, they are very expensive and charged me $200 for a part that costs less than $25 retail (on top of their service fee for labor). I will only use them if I have no other options available in the future.

Terrible customer service. All they care about is the money and forget to listen to the customers concerns. I avoided a $350 circuit board for my HVAC because I was deligent and kept insisting that it wasnt the problem. I was right and the technician left ashamed. It was really embarrassing for them especially after they also argued me on the phone. The issue turned out to be a simple wire that the technician stepped on.

Great service! Texan Mechanical bailed us out when our AC broke down at the beginning of summer. I called them and they had someone out within the hour. They are very reasonably priced considering the weekend emergency work.

Once again they saved the day!! Our AC went out at 3am. My house quickly heated up to almost 80 by 5am. They had us back up and running by 2pm. They are always fast and on time!!

Mar 24 2023 We heard a loud rattling sound from our downstairs AC. We called Texan Mechanical and they said theyd have someone out between 2-4 pm. He showed up at 2 on the dot. Wow. He checked things out and said they would need to check my warranty before doing something needlessly that would cost us a lot of money that wouldnt be good for more than one year. They would send 2-3 options for us to choose from. I like the fact that they didnt immediately jump to, well we need to replace your AC like our previous AC company. They are definitely our go to AC company.2022 We had our downstairs AC go out on Sunday during the Labor Day weekend so we called Texan Mechanical. They sent someone out within 2-3 hours. He checked the unit and discovered a short circuit in the circuit board on the AC unit. He got the AC back to running for the weekend and told us he would be back on Tuesday when the business that had the circuit board was open. He returned on Tuesday by noon and replaced the circuit board. Things are back to running now and we were definitely happy with the professionalism and customer service we received. Texan Mechanical will be out go to for AC in the future.

Did same day replacement of failed blower motor, and found some other alarming issues related to attic critters eating pipe insulation, and severely restricted flue pipe packed with mud daubers mud. While expensive, I marked as a great value in that there is much peace of mind knowing the job was done effectively, efficiently, and I learned a lot about the value of preventative maintenance on one of our homes most important systems!

The tech was on time and went straight to work. He charged the unit and inspected the interior coil. Unfortunately, it requires a new coil unit (pricey) but the amount estimated seemed to be in-line with other providers. I will have to update once I get the actual price for the new install and if the unit performs better or worse with the new parts.

If I can, I will give them a 5 stars after their visit every time .Until my friend refer their name to me, I was shopping through Google. Multiple companies quoted 3000-5000 dollars to repair my 4 years Trane AC. Tons of the complicated words came out from their estimate. However, when I call Texan Mechanical AC & Heating, they told me the truth - I need to refill the Cooling Fluid and dont need to worry about the other stuffs.Now Texan Mechanical AC & Heating is my first and the only contact for any AC problem.
