A well installed HVAC ensures a homes energy efficiency and air quality. My new homes (4 yrs old) HVACs plenum was improperly installed and led to problems for several years. Crump located the source of my systems problem, reinstalled a new plenum designed for my system, properly flanged each duct to the plenum and I now have an efficient system where moisture and mold are NOT building up in the plenum and moisture is NOT condensing on the duct joints in the attic. Just wish the builder had done it right from the start! Thanks to Bryce Berry and Greg Sattler for their professional install.

Greg Sattler is a great ambassador for Crump AC’s brand! He took care of our AC ductwork replacement project and he was honest, responsive, and accommodating throughout the process. The repairmen arrived in the window of time that was previously indicated which was a nice start. They quickly identified the problem and got it fixed. They did a good job of making sure the fix worked and that there were no other issues both inside and outside the house. Very personable and professional. Plus, the cost was very reasonable. Actually less than what I expected. Great job.

Great scheduling service and on time, but very expensive. Total bill $370 to replace a $50 contactor, check freon (did not fill) and service call. Did not get approval before starting work!

Update 7/2023 - This year we had to replace both AC systems 3 months apart. Their recommendations were spot on and our house has never felt more comfortable, all while using less power during this heatwave. I cannot recommend their services enough. As part of the install, they were able to properly balance the AC systems and provided recommendations on the types of ceiling vent grilles to maximize airflow. They left no trace behind after both installations, something that cannot be said for all service providers.The Crump Team was very responsive to our appointment request and was very flexible around our busy schedules. The work performed was great and I never felt pressured to do more than was necessary. I highly recommend their services!

A/C was not keeping up. Crump came and found that everything was iced over and unit was low on freon. The leak was in the attic and needed to be replaced. Crump found out that the part was under warranty which I had no idea. They sourced the part at no cost to me and were out the next day to replace. Only had to pay labor which saved me a lot. Amazing and kept the wife cool and happy. Thank you Crump Team!!!

When we started searching Google when our old AC died back in August, Crump stood out because of their (almost) unbelievably consistent stellar reviews. Their quote was the most reasonable by good measure, they were quick (and friendly) to work with, so our decision to go with them was a no brainer. And even though there were a few early hiccups with our equipment, they were super responsive in addressing our issues. HIGHLY recommend.

Highly recommend! I’ve used Crump with my place of business, but this was the first time I used them with my personal home and I will not go back to anyone else!Our AC went out over the weekend. My husband (against my better judgement) called someone out who worked on the weekend. After another company tried to get me to pay for an expensive “urgent” repair, I called some other companies recommended by friends, and Crump A/C and Heating was by far the best. Amber talked me through potential issues that the previous A/C company could have been recommending be repaired, and then discussed working with my home warranty after they came out to assess any issues. Bryce was my technician and came out promptly. He was so nice and listened to what the previous company explained and went to go check for himself. He took pictures of the areas in question which revealed the “urgent” repair was completely unnecessary. He did discover the root of the problem which he promptly fixed and was covered in their service fee. Did I mention they are super affordable?!?! Compared to the other places I called that were recommended by friends to me, they offer great pricing. A family friend who has been in the commercial a/c business since the 70’s gave me some key terms to look for when searching for a trusted a/c company and they checked every box. That was long, but they are worth it!

They replaced a 3.5 tonnage coil and condenser for our downstairs A/C unit. They also cleaned our upstairs condenser unit.This is the 3rd time weve had them out since I first discovered the business online. The most recent visit was the first time we needed any significant work performed by them.The owner is extremely nice and personable. I have already recommended them to family and friends.My father is an engineer and he never liked the companies that would come out to service things in our home. He always felt they were trying to take advantage of us. We had a family friend who installs AC come out and look at our unit, which wasnt spitting out cold air in the master bedroom. Everywhere else it was, except there. 10 feet away, in the master bathroom it was, but not in bedroom. Basically, he screwed up alot of stuff, and net result was, he let out out a bunch of freon, regrigerant because he did things in the wrong order. Looked up good AC guys in area, and Crump came up. Liked the name and made appointment. Seth Crump, the owner showed up next day on time. He walked me through everything, super cordial and nice and friendly. He fixed what the other guy broke. He walked me through the process, took me into attic, showed me what was going on, etc etc. Gave me options. But the end result is, our master bedroom is pushing cold air, thanks to him. Would recommend. Honest and trustworthy, although you do pay for it. Was not cheap. But in this 100+ June heat, you need trustworthy, smart people, so well worth it.

I got a same day appointment, the technician Greg arrived on time, was courteous, professional, knowledgeable and needless to say he fixed the problem in 30 mins. Seth has been out twice. The second time b/c my husband tried to wire something himself. Seth was kind, helpful, and fast. He is knowledgeable about his trade, gives options and is helpful making decisions. My husband is no longer allowed to touch the a/c we immediately call Seth.

Our experience was definitely a good one. From our first call to the end of the job. They were on time and worked through the long hot day to be sure we had air after not having any for 3days. We had a new unit installed and they took away all the old equipment and cleaned up after themselves. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely continue to use them.

My home warranty company used them to fix our condenser. These guys are on time and have great customer service. We were disappointed when our home referred us to someone else when we had another issue. That visit fixed nothing and we called Crump in desperation for advice. They came out the next day and fixed the issue. Great company.

They were so kind and quick to make it happen. Our a/c went out and they moved the schedule around to make sure someone was out the next day to put our new unit in. They were one of the cheapest we found in. I was told it would take 6 hrs and they had it done in less than 4. I would recommend them to anyone.

We had called and received 4 other quotes to repair. Crumps estimate was for the same materials and installation as the others but much less in price. 10 year warranty and a professional install. Money isnt always the issue. But when you can get the same quality and services for less........thats a deal.

This is the best HVAC company I have ever dealt with, and reasons are simple. The Crump A/C technicians name was Seth. He came at the appointed time, and he diagnosed and fixed everything quickly. There are many companies who can fix things, but here is why Crump A/C is now the best Ive ever seen:1) He DIDNT try to sell me new units, nor did he try to say that my coils needed $300 of cleaning. I keep my outside units and their coils VERY clean, so I know when somebody is lying.2) The technician was very professional, extremely friendly, and he answered all my questions.3) In addition to all of that, Seth was unfailingly kind and patient with my little boy who just turned 4. I feel certain that my son asked at least 11,000 questions, and Seth answered and explained all of his questions (many times), and he even let my son feel like be was being helpful by asking all those questions. That is uncommon and highly prized in this day and age, and Ill never forget it.Crump is the best. Ill never use anybody else.

This company and its owners are wonderful. If you want good, honest people who always try to do the right thing, then go with Crump. If anyone gives them less than a 5 star review, then they have to be one of those people who will find fault in everything and are chronic complainers. I recommend these guys as often as I can. I’ve used Crump A/C for 2 coil replacement jobs in summer 2022, 1 at my mother’s house and 1 at my rental house. On one job they replaced the evaporator coil and on the other job they replaced the evaporator coil & the condenser coil. I met with several HVAC companies before I selected Crump A/C. Seth, Greg, Amber, and the rest of the team at Crump A/C are highly professional, priced competitively, honest, punctual, and most importantly they go above and beyond to ensure that their equipment is installed properly and has the best chance of surviving these brutal Houston summers.I did have some slightly cheaper quotes in regards to pricing, but Crump A/C was similarly priced and the peace of mind I got for paying slightly more for a much more reliable HVAC company was invaluable. These guys/gal offer a superior service at fair prices and they work hard to ensure that they meet customer expectations. Crump A/C will be my go-to for HVAC issues going forward.

Awesome customer service!!! Returned call quickly and had someone out same night, all after hours! Leak wasnt from their equipment after all but initial construction fail from builder and they still fixed it! We thought they were awesome with our initial installation of ACs & furnaces. I have been repeatedly impressed by the honesty and better than good pricing for the service and repairs to my air conditioning system. Bryce and others have been very professional in explaining exactly what the issue is and fixing it quickly. If they see that the repair is something simple, the pricing reflects that. When theyve seen that the issue was not the air conditioning, Ive not been charged. This kind of service, pricing and honesty is rare and deserves to be noticed.

Extremely helpful! We had a leak in our AC system. I messaged Seth Crump and he responded within the hour. He was honest and professional and put Freon in our system to keep us cool until the part was available for our AC.

We were recently surprised in the worst way by a cloud of Freon escaping from a burned out AC compressor. Fortunately, when looking for a referral, we called 3 family members in the Katy area and learned that each had used and were pleased with Crump AC. When my wife explained that we were caring for my 96 year and we were hoping for a quick repair, the Crump dispatcher rearranged their schedule to accommodate us even though we lived in Missouri City (quite a distance from our family members in Katy). After an inspection the next morning the AC technician arranged to pick up a new compressor and had us up and running quickly and like brand new. We were pleased with not only with quick and competent work from Crump but the great communication from both the office and AC technician. We’ve found our “go-to” AC company.

We had to keep calling the company to come out spending a lot of money problem never got fixed. Finally after replacing the 3rd very expensive part we called another company which found the problem easily by looking at the outside unit. They fixed easily added frion and not a problem since! When I called the owner it was his brother in law coming back each time they offered to comp a small portion of the issues but the comp check never came in the mail. Shocker there. I will never use this company again. They only want your money. Be extremely careful with this company.

I dont recommend them. They replaced expensive parts and changed a lot and still didnt fix our problem. Turned out they never even checked the outside unit! Problem solved by another company. I tried to report it to the BBB however they cover their butt well. They returned a small portion of my money and called it good. I still will not use them again. Not trustworthy. Be careful and get second opinions!

Also big plus is technician left sites clean (no bits and pieces laying in insulation on ground.We had a small unresolved issue for 2 years with a leaking air handler which had been seen by our old maintenance who just fixed it with a “bandaid” and not understanding the cause, we had two other companies take a look only Crumps found what cause was (air intake form a pvc access pipe that Hs beennadded so we could pour bleach to clear pipes). Highly recommend them. Also am fond of their maintenance program which gives us 10% off repairs if any.They use a great program for scheduling that sends an alert text to give is a precise technician arrival time.

As a Realtor I’m always looking for the best Contractors for my Clients as well as myself! Crumps is an awesome company who is extremely professionally and knowledgeable! If I could truly rate this company and their staff, it would be 10 stars !!!

This Saturday would be 2 weeks my AC has been out. The first day the repairman came out(Bryce).I gave him more than the benefit of the doubt that he knew what he was doing. First visit, I told him multiple time (i know people who do AC work), that there was a leak somewhere from the Freon. He said i was right, & was just going to do a temporary fix, since home warrant requires that first?? (my warrant company said otherwise, you can fix a part first visit). My house was cool for ONE day. Two days later Bryce comes out AGAIN(i knew would happen, from the beginning i said i have a leak in Freon). This time, he went in attic, for maybe 3 mins. & came back down saying there was a leak in the coil. I told him(again i know people in AC business), did he check to see if anything bubbled from a leak. Was he sure that it was the coil? He said, he didnt need to check if there were bubbles, cause he can tell by so much oil around the coil that the leak had to be there. I INSTANTLY felt like-1. He didnt want to take the time to check. 2. Maybe he just doesnt know what he is actually doing. 3. Or maybe they are the type to keep coming back after spending so much money on other parts, just to get money off their people. Since it was a holiday weekend, i called my home warranty. To make sure if this CRUMP ever sent in the part.Since it was 100 degrees, i have 2 babies & mentioned more than once the urgency of the situation since my baby got SICK from being in the hot house. Now its Tuesday, after the holidays. I call CRUMP & told them that my warranty said they never sent in the coil that i needed last week. The lady on the phone, said Thats strange let me call in & see what the issue is. Along with blaming my home warranty, saying the drop the ball a lot.(Another issue , they want to blame the home warranty for EVERYTHING- To make them not look bad). After i made her call my home warranty, guess what? My home warranty said she BARELY put in for the part that i needed ordered, when she shouldve did it the end of the week before. DAYS going by, my baby still sick-- 100 degree weather. CRUMP doesnt care thought right? Couple days pass, i keep calling both home warranty and AC company. I even tell Crump that i think i am going to have to find another company, because she told me even if the home warranty approved the part same day, i still wont be able to have someone come out and replace it until the next week. WTH? My Baby is sick!!! From sweating, and being cooled off by a fan!!!!! but again.. they dont care. When i said i would probably hire someone, she tried to convince me not to.. well home warranty might not reimburse you, and if they do it might take up to 30 days. Your coil is under warranty from your unit, once we get the part i can assure you everything will be taken care of. I had no choice at this point to call, get an AWESOME company to come. and guess what?! IT WASNT EVEN THE COIL THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED! I WAS RIGHT!! BRYCE never checked the coil to begin with, like he told me. My coil looked BRAND NEW!!!!! I had a leak in the condenser outside, and the company fixed it same day!!!!! R&R hvac & refrigeration services knows what theyre doing.& because of my situation with my babies, i paid literally NOTHING. CRUMP AC is just a company that probably does residential work,& has no idea what to even look for. Get a company that does alot of commerical, cause if the company can do commercial complicated work. They can do measly residential work. Crump AC was going to replace a coil, that wasnt even bad! I will be posting this to so many websites and social media. They dont know what theyre doing, or they just want to try & get money. I see that they respond to reviews, whatever- give me whatever excuses you want. The only reason they have these other good reviews, is because before they leave they send you a link & want you to give them a good review right then and there, even if the work isnt even done. I knew better-People do not write reviews until your AC is fixed. STAY AWAY from this company!

I was concerned about having a technician in my home during the quarantine but he was very professional wore a mask and gloves and changed the gloves each time he re-entered my home e.g. he had to go get a part. He changed gloves before re-entering my home. This is the third time Ihave used Crump Air and all three times I have been impressed withe their professionalism, quality of work, timeliness and prices!

Bryce and Greg were very friendly - worked quickly and explained everything that was worked on. The turnaround from diagnosing the problem to repairing was super quick. House feels amazing now.

Technician (Greg) came on time and quickly identified the issue. He put in a temporary fix which was great since the part had to be ordered and it was getting too hot without the AC running. Once the part became available, the technician came back and completed the job. Overall, very good experience. Technician also wore face mask on both visits👍.

I called because I had an issue with my A/C and they immediately called me back and were able to get a technician out within the hour. I definitely recommend this company. They are honest and will do their very best to help!

The tech was very friendly, didnt seem lazy or like he hated his job (hvac is easy to hate), tried to take time to explain things and serviced my system. I am not capable of judging his technical assessment or service carried out on my system; the issue i have/had is an intermittent one. Time will tell. I would have given 5 stars but i didnt only for the aforementioned reason. I would reccomend this company though.

Paid for Crump A/C to come out under a HWA Home warranty claim. Crump completely (deliberately?) misdiagnosed the problem as a fault cooling coil, offered a very expensive repair, not covered under HWA warranty. Even showed us a photo of the broken part. We obtained a second independent quote, identified a problem on an entirely unrelated part without knowing any back story. So paid HWA again for a third quote, which confirmed our second quote. Still waiting for my callout fee back.I would never recommend Crump, or HWA Home Warranty.

Crump A/C Technician Seth took time to explain options of temporary Freon refill to wait until later for potential upgrade of compressor & evap coil. He also called during scheduled arrival time to explain a delay in his arrival. Very pleased!.

My insurance company (HWA) sent this company to my home to repair my A/C on 25th of June. The name of the technician was Bryce. He came to my house and he checked the system. He told that there was a leakage on the system and the coil needs to be changed in order to fix the problem. And he supposed to report the HWA to place an order for new coil. But he didnt do it. I called maybe 20 times this company and HWA to make the things faster but there was no progress. Then HWA set another company and sent the technician. He checked the system and found that there was no leakage on the system. The coil was ok. He just added refrigerating gas to the system and it works perfect!I lost three days just because of the technician and this company! I have a small infant in the house and I emphasized the technician about that to make the things faster. But nobody cares. I reported this situation to HWA, too. I hope they are not gonna work with them anymore.

I had call CRUMP because the home warranty sent me RLC Services, which visited my home 6 times and couldnt fix the issue. So far my A/C has been on with no issues. Thanks CRUMP.

I didn’t get to meet Mr. Bryce but it was communicated to me the time he arrived and what was done. My only concern is that there’s a low rumbling, noise associated with the A/C that concerns me. Not sure if it has anything to do with how an item was put in...
