Leaving this cause of the reviews Ive read. Not sure if Aaron is still the owner, but when he ran the show along with Billy and my father N. Flores, and the rest of the techs and mechs, he ran it like a well oil machine. Sad to see this, I hope the best for Airtronics and hope things turn around.
They professionally serviced my ac unit today. Technician expend his time to troubleshoot it. Amazing I had 3 company’s before and non of them where able to know what was wrong with my fit unit
Yes they originally sold me a Daikin system and installed it. That experience was great but now with follow-up service, it has been a horrible experience. 3 years later, the A/C will not cool to set temperature. Airtronics tech came out twice, did nothing to really troubleshoot the problem. They simply cleaned out some debris around the a/c outside and charged me $250. They never told me their rate at the time of scheduling. I thought I still had warranty left from my purchase. Had I known, I would have call American Home Shield to send out a service call.Since I was not home and my daughter was, I asked for pictures, he did not share any pictures. How do I know if he really did anything to justify this charge?? Still the A/C is not cooling and now they will not answer my call or call me back after several attempts to call them. I know theres a problem with the system. I have a 12-year warranty so why are they not calling Daikin for guidance on what to look for???? I was told by the tech that the service he performed and changed me is warranty for 6 months. Now they wont come back out????I called Daikin and they indicated Airtronics is not a certified Daikin Pro contractor. I now have to call another company to come out to look at what is wrong.I dont recommend Airtronics if they are not responsive to the customer after sale and installation!!!With the certified Daikin Pro technician, I was informed Airtronics did not install the power source properly and did not install the side panel. More issues I have to address through Daikin reporting Airtronics for this issues.I still strongly recommend a Daikin A/C. They are the most efficient and quiet system Ive ever had. since install I have not had more than a $300 (in Aug) monthly electricity bill until 2023 with the unusually high temperature.
I was guided on upgrading my old A/C by an employee named Marc. He was very helpful and very professional. The prices were really good and work was done quickly. Would definitely do business with them again and recommend to friends and family.

One of your technicians ran me into a curb this morning at Barker Cypress and West, almost side-swiping me in his Ford F-150. I honked when he came over, he couldnt care less, he kept coming over. Texas license plate JXY 0430. I tried calling your office 6 times today and no one will answer the phone so I left you a voicemail. I expect a call back. I have included screen grabs from the video which my dash cam got. Extremely unprofessional company.
Terrible company and terrible customer service. I have had Multiple issues with AC system since install and had to fight to get repairs done. NOW their neglect to assure that all drain lines were properly directed outside my home cause serious water damage and all they can say is we didnt install that line. Refused to repair the damage or let me speak to management. Regardless if the line was preexisiting or not they had to hook the new system up to it and should have done their diligence to ensure that it was draining properly. Im an not an AC expert or installer otherwise I would not have wasted my money with their company and did the job right myself.
Got my system installed couple of months ago Marc help me through your the process meddles to say they did a awesome and clean install. Unfortunately my other system was replace for another company and it doesn’t compare the quality
This is the worst company to deal with. DONT work with them. They delayed ordering parts for repairing our AC more than 3 weeks, after constant follow-up we discovered that they forgot to place the order!!! Their technician came to picture the unit again to order the part. We noticed a leak from the condenser. We asked him to inspect it, he said the unit is pierced which was not. he was not able to see the leakage is happening from connection. Another professional company came and did a thorough inspection and discovered the leak from joint. Also He missed noticing that the main unit is 5 tones while the coil and condenser are 4 tones to advise us on that. The other company that came spent quality time explaining the options and even the various brands available to have a long lasting solutionWorst company to deal with!!!!!!
This company was assigned as the service contractor through my home warranty company to fix my AC unit. After waiting over 48 hrs from first contact (in my 95* home) to have them come look at my AC unit, the morning of my appointment they were reportedly experiencing phone issues and thus did not respond to my TWELVE calls confirming that someone was home and waiting for them. They finally answered another call 2 hours later telling me that even though there was a phone issue, it was my fault for failing to confirm the appt and that it would need to be rescheduled because they had no more openings, meaning at least another 24 hrs without air in the Texas heat. We found someone else to work with, who had it fixed by the time they even confirmed with my warranty company that they had not been to my property.
I had Airtronics come and look at my AC because of the cooling issues. They came through my warranty provider. After diagnosis, they came up and told me that my coil is leaking and a bunch of other things needs to be replaced to fix the issue. Also gave me a $1700+ out of pocket expenses. I know my coil was pretty new. I requested for a second opinion and another provider came and diagnosed that the issue with a value and the fix is all covered and no out of pocket expenses. I accepted the fix from the second provider and their diagnosis was correct. Everything is fixed and no out of pocket expenses!So not happy with Airtronics and will try to stay away from them in future.
My experience with Airtronics from point of sale to complete installation was fantastic from start to finish. My original system was close to 20 years old so working with Jack the point person was informational to my liking and he was extremely patient in answering all of my questions and concerns. The installation crew was professional and respectful of the house. I was in constant contact with Jack during the install and when I had a question after the complete install Jack sent out a technician immediately who checked everything. Matthew the technician was also very knowledgeable about things to know about the system. Overall I will be recommending Airtronics to my friends and family for all of their air conditioning needs.Derick Idlebird
Let me say this place is a Blessing and their technicians could of told me to replace 20 year old condenser 3 different times and I would of believed them since it has been flooded from Hurricane Harvey and is 20 plus years old. American Home Shield assigned me this company and after their first visit to my home after Harvey I insist on ONLY THEM. Why? Because Im Loyal to those Who help me right and dont give me a B.S. reason to do something when they can get away with doing it. ALL of my neighbors had to replace their condensers that were submerged for 10 days. I knew I would too. Nope. The man that looks like a basket ball player fixed it quick. I couldnt believe it! Right after Harvey. ALL my neighbors were wondering if there condenser could of been fixed too? Who knows but I couldnt even afford a new one with only having to pay non covered charges with my policy. After this I requested Airtronics again when it quit working because my first experience. Once again I was prepared for the worse and once again the tech they sent, a man from Honduras with eyeglasses got it fixed again. So this week it broke down. Im sure I need to buy something new. They sent an Old timer guy with glasses to look at it. He replaced our thermostat and now it works. A true Blessing. I know we have to replace our system eventually since its over 20 years old but each time they could of told me I had to and I would of agreed but each time they got me working. I know sometimes people are lazy, unethical or maybe they make a mistake. No one is perfect. But this company American Homes shield assigned is perfect enough for me. If it can be fixed these people will do it. I gave them 5 stars on my AHS review and here because I want to show my gratitude. Thank you Airtronics AC for getting me fixed and sending honest technicians that are competent. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY IF YOU HAVE AMERICAN HOME SHIELD. With me personally I leave reviews if a business is crummy or superb. I leave details. You can read all my reviews so you should recognize Im a legit person and not a bot. My loyalty will be with them and I will continue to request only them to my house.
Absolutely incompetent and disorganized. Installed the evaporator coil incorrectly and all the coolant leaked. Installed the copper line incorrectly and, once again, all the coolant leaked. We knew what the issue was and even sent them a video of the problem in advance. When they came out, they didn’t have the right equipment to fix it despite knowing the problem beforehand. If you have a choice, go with literally anyone else. I would give zero stars if I could.Edit: Cancelled an appointment to fix a mistake THEY made 45 minutes after the scheduled time. Just when I thought they couldn’t get worse. Avoid this place like the plague.
Update to initial post...... Called Jack today and had a conversation with him. Seems to want to make things right but cant find me in their system? They serviced the house twice.I was assigned Airtronics through American Home Shield to come out and look at my air conditioning unit. The unit had not been keeping up and with the hot weather I needed it looked at right away. To Airtronics credit they were very prompt and had someone out the next day. When the technician arrived he was very polite and professional. The first thing he did was go out back to the outside unit and he checked the Freon levels. He said that they were very low and that i probably had a Freon leak. He then went up to the unit in the attic and opened up the unit. He said that he saw ice and that this was a clear indication that the Freon was leaking and that I needed to replace my coil. He also recommenced changing the whole unit because it was the original, the house was built in 2015. Anyway after hearing that advice i turned off the unit because it was constantly running and I didnt want to pay the electric bill for blowing warm air. However, after letting the unit sit for about 10 hours over night the house was so warm I figured I would turn it on to see if anything happened.... hoping for a miracle basically. Well when I turned it on it ran perfectly. The house cooled down to temp in approx. 5 hours and has maintained temp for over a week. I called American Home Shield to get another company to come out and give a second opinion. The second company came in and said that everything looked great and that i should change the air filters because poor intake can cause the coils to freeze. My air filters were extremely dirty, we just bought the house and didnt think to look for that. 2 weeks later the unit is still going strong. Airtronics also said I had several code violations that would need to be fixed bringing my out of pocket total to over $1,000 dollars. I called to file a complaint and get a list of the code violations. The receptionist said she would send them over and I would get a call from the owner.... That was 5 days ago and no call back. I see from this page that many people have had a great experience with this company, but I did not. It could have been the technician, he seemed very inexperienced and may have been trying to scam me. I wish I would have gotten my call back to talk this over with the owner.
My home warranty company contracted them to come out and the technician stated it was a leak in the evaporator coil. It didnt make sense to me since I hadnt seen a leak and I knew it was just the air not being evenly distributed. They wanted me to pay for the evaporator coil to be fixed and to replace the freon they would need to drain out, thats perfectly good instead of recycling it. I got a second opinion and turns out my whole unit is brand new and under warranty and its not even a leak.
The company is SHADY, I have been forced to use them several times due to our Home Warranty selecting them as a service provider. They always schedule service several days out and when they find the issue they never have parts. Then the order the parts for several more days and finally maybe fix the issue. Be prepared for it to take typically 5-10 days to fix your issue. Also they like to add misc up charges on the bill such as $150 for locking caps ($24 on amazon) $125 for Wire Conduit ($20 at Home Depot) $75 for Pipe insulation ($12 at Home Depot) that you have no choice but to pay. They also claim to be 24/7 service, but they will not answer the phone past 5 on weekdays and not answer at all on the weekends. Wish I could use a different company. 1 star or less
Jack was very professional and came out almost immediately. He was very thorough and the estimates were very competitive. He is also an indoor air quality specialist. Great fast service! I will recommend him to all my real estate clients.
The Worst experience ever.. They came to repair my AC System through my home warranty they charged me $125 to come out. I told the tech that my moms AC was damaged by a storm and I would give her their number to help my mom, But He went into that attic came down and said my control board was old and needed to be replaced. but He told the warranty Company that( American Home Shield ) that my house was hit by lighting . Now theyve lied and now my ac is not covered by my Warranty company , No, one has called me or even explained how they got this diagnoses.Please Do Not Use This Company!!! Especially if you are a person of color..
Jack, was phenomenal, extremely professional and patient with answering my questions. He sensed I had concerns about whether really needed a new condenser and immediately came out and inspected my system himself. We did need a condenser and arranged for an immediate install the next day. Continue to highly recommend Airtronics and Jack

This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had from a business, and I hope if you don’t have the energy to read everything you should know upfront:DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!!!Please please please save yourself the stress, time, and your hard earned money.I originally found them thru my home owners insurance. Went through the whole process. Here are the short versions:• Installed an entire new system, for it to be a lemon.• installed second system, broke within a year. ** should have warranty on it but they’re claiming since they have a rule that they don’t fix AC’s in the winter that I am no longer under warranty. **• have tried since November to get this fixed with the company and we’re in END OF MAY.• terrible communication from office team, I have had to call for my own updates and advocate for myself.• The “manager” of the Office manager is never in. At this point today I got told from the office manager that “he does not want to speak to you.”• Hazel, the Office Manager is the rudest person I’ve ever encountered in my life. (And I’ve been a retail manager for over 10 years…). Will literally stay silent if she does not agree with you, is nasty in her statements, and does not care about being a liaison for clients and business.• Currently making installs of payments for my AC and it STILL is not fixed.While I understand they may have been waiting for parts (something out of their control)- there has been zero communication on their behalf - which is IN THEIR CONTROL. I have spent over $6,000 with them and I will tell every single person when looking for an AC company about my experience.I had to go get portable units while waiting, something they didn’t even offer until I said something TODAY.This is horrendous and I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. Please, go with anyone else but then.
Couldn’t have asked for a more trustworthy and reliable resource as Jack has been for us. Being first time homeowners and having a AC go out was really frustrating but Jack has been a delight to work with and has eased our minds knowing we are working with a top notch company! Highly recommend!

Had a problem with our AC not cooling so Alex Sol came out on Wednesday. We missed our appointment and he waited as long as he could but came back today, Friday. He found the problem and got everything taken care of. Great guy. Great company. Would definitely recommend.
The gentleman visited and assumed he had to replace the evaporating coil saying it was frozen and broken. He said I had a leak. I didn’t see anything leaking or frozen but I went in good faith, then after I left it off and restarted the a/c it worked ok. I was suspicious after 3 days of my a/c working ok and I called another company. All I had to do was change my filter in the attic and the other filters and my A/C works well now! They wanted over 2000.00 to fix something not broken!
They work for my home warranty company, and they came out when my furnace went down. The first time they changed the thermostat and it worked for a day. Called them out again and they came out and said my furnace board was fried. They suggested a new furnace. They quoted me almost $3000 with a $2000 credit from my company. This didnt sound correct, especially since i had just bought a furnace for my rental property 1.5 years ago. I did my research and had a company quote me $2100 for a new unit WITHOUT A CREDIT!!! I told Airtronics not to process my warranty claim. I ended up going with the other company and got a whole new system. 2 weeks later I get a call from Airtronics stating they were ready to come install the part! Be careful with this company, especially the service manager. Do your research before you accept what they tell you!
We had worked with Jack when he was with another HVAC company and I have simply followed him! He is phenomenal, professional, and takes personal care of you. Most times, he would pick up calls, even if its at odd times of the day. I installed a new outdoor unit from another vendor (through Jack) and got 10 years parts and labor warranty. So will be reaching out to them in case of any issues but if they dont (I really hope they do) and/or any issue crops up outside of it, I know who to call - Jack!
I had a complete AC system installed in March 2020 and the installation team created a small issue with damaging my floor. Jack arranged to have the floor fixed immediately to my satisfaction. I greatly appreciate businesses that understand customer service and correct their mistakes. So heres an update on this company, the system they installed (a Trane) shorted out less than two years. The system has a 10 year warranty.AirTronics wants to charge me 1800.00 to replace the motor, which is covered by the warranty. I called John Moore and received a similar response .I was told the motor was covered by the warranty but the installation would cost 1800.00. Unbelievable people! One week, no Ac during a heat wave and AC companies wanting to steal your money. I finally got a hold of a reputable AC company Northwest Air and they sent a Technician to replace my motor for a normal service charge fee.Thank you
Crooks. American Home shield is who sent these guys out. The first time they came, they said they system needed freon, they added it and the system partially cooled for about 3 days. I then called back when the system stopped working and they told me the evaporator coil needed to be replaced. When I received my estimate, they apparently told AHS my system didnt meet code and needed to be modified. The amount they sent to AHS for the modification was $2830 + the cost of the evaporator coil. I called another AC company and they total cost for the evaporator coil was $2400. Stay away from these guys. Not sure how they have any good ratings.
Horrible! My home warranty company sent us to use this company. The technician took a week to even come out. Once he came he did more damage. Our AC wasn’t broken it just had a small issue now it is blowing heat. It is broken! They broke it. However when you call the rudest front desk staff ever. They don’t care that it’s 85 in your home they need the home warranty to send a new order at 4 pm on a Friday! Again they broke it! We jump through hoops to get this order and she tells us that they are closed and won’t open until Monday. She says it’s not a big deal... just a technology issue. Yes maybe so but you caused it! This company is the worst I’ve ever dealt with. We are going to bypass our warranty just to not deal with them. Horrible customer service or concern.
Yes,Airtronics A/C is very busy and for a darned good reason. They get the job done right and have taken great care of my property over the years. Thanks to Dewayne and the whole crew for saving us from the heat wave!
Airtronics was referred by American Home Warranty when our AC went out. We wasted weeks (with no functional AC in Houston) as they refused to give us a copy of the bid or let us know if the repairs were guaranteed, the full scope of work, and if they were going to use virgin or reclaimed coolant. We wound up paying more out of pocket to make sure we were getting a quality install.
My AC unit primary drain was clogged and water was dripping out of the secondary pipe outside, so I called Airtronics. A service technician, Alex, arrived who was very friendly and informative.He removed the clog from the drain P-Trap. He also inspected the condition of the filter and coils. The filter was very dirty/black. He informed me that the filter needs to be replaced every 6 months to a year and where it can be purchased from. The coils were in good condition and did not need to be cleaned.5 stars - Great service and very informative.
Alex Sol is great, as Im sure the other technicians are.The companys management and scheduling department, however, are rude and atrocious. This is a company that cancels your appointments without telling you, after youve taken off of work to meet the appointment schedule. I am not sure if this is because they are an AHS contractor that the problems keep coming up.If, as a homeowner, I request for a refrigerant leak to be found and I am told that it is coming from the evaporator then the next thing Im going to want to know is where in the evaporator. Airtronics refuses to diagnose more than the minimum required to consider a ticket closed and an issue fully troubleshot.Be prepared to get the runaround if one appointment does not adequately fix the problem.
Avoid this company at all costs! They misdiagnose your problem, require you to pay for service/consumables before the job complete (over $500 in addition to the home warranty coverage), and change their minds then ask you to pay for service before your part is ordered. This company was sent out by the AHS Home Warranty and wouldnt order the part covered by the warranty until I paid for consumables needed to complete the job. I found this to be very shady and not the type of company I wanted to deal with. I called another company the same day and got my a/c repaired for under $200. Airtronics said that it was my compressor, and the other company changed my capacitor, and my a/c is working with no problem. There is a significant difference between a compressor and a capacitor. Do your research on your diagnosis and never paid for service/consumables before the work is done. This place is a total scam, do not use them!
I had Mr. Roger visiting my house and taking a look to my A/C unit after calling my home warranty insurance American Home Shield. Is amazing how Mr. Roger took his time to review every single detail and explain what was going on with the unit. I appreciate your busines Airtronics and hope to get your service if I need you again in the future!
I think it very important to submit 2 positive reviews about Airtronics Air Conditioning & Heating. And, I feel guilty for not submitting these reviews sooner.First Review (September 2018): I have an old A/C unit with a condenser that was flooded during Hurricane Harvey. The condenser was literally underwater for about a week. The contractor who finished rebuilding my house last year got the unit running again, but warned it might need to be replaced. Then, about 3 months after I moved back into the house, the A/C unit quit working. That is when I contacted Airtronics. Because the breakdown occurred during the later part of summer when temperatures were still in the upper 90 degrees, I thought I would have to wait a long time for service - but, a technician arrived the very next morning. The technician conducted a thorough and efficient diagnosis of the problem and quickly replaced a faulty contact. The technician was not only competent in his work; he was also very polite and respectful to me. After talking to other homeowners who had similar repairs, I learned the cost of my repair was both fair and reasonable. Above all, I appreciated the technician’s honesty and the fact that he did not try to sell me a new A/C unit simply because I have an old one.Second Review (August 2019): My old A/C unit quit working again this year when the temperatures were hovering in the 100 degrees range. I again contacted Airtronics and the technician arrived at my house sooner than expected. His diagnosis revealed that the condenser’s fan was malfunctioning and caused a fuse to blow. The technician replaced the fan and checked other components in the A/C system to ensure their performance reliability. Like with the first technician, this second technician was also polite, respectful, and honest with me. He did not try to sell me a new A/C unit simply because I have an old one. And, I thought the cost of the repair was again fair and reasonable for all of the work performed. As such, you can be assured that I will continue using Airtronics for my A/C needs.
Technician was polite and knowledgeable. He explained what he was checking and why. Good trouble shooting skills and knowledgeable, compared to other techs before. Would recommend Marc and will request next time when service is needed. Overall great experience.
I just had a AC blower changed thru my insurance company and technician Alex did excellent job taking his time to do his job and also explain to me about the problem. I recommend Airtronics to my family and friends for any AC/ Heating job.Great job Alex Sol, thank you
Jack and his team went Above and Beyond to diagnose, install, and follow up with replacement of our AC and furnace system. Despite the challenge of having such an unpleasant expense, the team at Airtronics helped us as much as possible in easing the pain :). Would recommend their services!

DO NOT TRUST THEM. American Home Shield sent this contractor to me. They misdiagnosed the problem, asking for $800 non-covered cost for replacing a compressor. I chose the cash out option and found my own contractor. The other contractor solved the problem (the compressor is ok) within one hour and much less cost.
Service from Kirby at airtronics over the last 3 years has been amazing always doing what he can to make sure my family and pets stay cool. Amanda was able the help me get service check out next day. Its never a good time to have problems in Houston with your AC, but it seems this time was the absolute worst. Just returning from vacation and loved one recovering from back surgery. Then of course record high temperatures.
Alex from air Tronics came by and within less than 15 minutes was able to identify our issues and had us I’ve been running in cooler in no time at all. He was a pleasure to work with and provided excellent service. We would certainly recommend air Tronics in the future to anyone in need of a good AC support.

I don`t understand the good reviews here, probably all fake. This company will rip you off, claim they have to charge for code related stuff and then steal you $125 for a dripping pan ($19.99 on any home depot), $500 for an RSU insulation (less than $60 on any hardware store) and other shady expensive things in the quote they hide from you or use codes no one understands. They know it`ll be more if you don`t use home warranty so they can charge whatever they want.BEWARE - they also lie about the warranty on parts. Most AC parts have extended 10 year warranty guaranteed from manufacturers, and Airtronics will tell you you get that too and they work it out for you after the installation. Well, I called the manufacturer of the parts Airtronics has installed and they have told me Airtronics is not even certified installer and therefore not eligible for the extended warranty, just lost 5 years of warranty on all my parts. Would have been better off paying out of pocket to a better, honest company outside of the home warranty realm. Shame on you.

Used Airtronics through my warranty company. They were nice when I called with questions and noted my suggestions on what I thought was wrong. Only issue was not calling before they arrived. Had that happen twice. Great company though.
Airtronics is hands down the best AC & Heating company in Houston. They are prompt and professional. I set an appointment and they showed up on time. Duane Naeseth is the tech who came out. Excellent and thorough on a full system replacement led by Marc. You can learn a lot from him. We have been on their maintenance plan for years and it’s been totally worth it.

Airtronics lied about the condition of my furnace saying that it was a safety issue. I had a second option and there was absolutely nothing wrong, the gas was off and needed to be turned on. Total scam, DO NOT TRUST THEM.

Scheduled appointment and given a window of 10-2 that a tech would arrive. At 2:30 I called to find out the status of the tech only to be told by Rena there was a computer glitch and the request was never sent to the tech. They could try and have someone the next day. When asked to speak with owner or leave message, the line rang but was unable to leave message. Beyond frustrated.
My technician was Alex Sol. He came in, was very polite, and knew exactly what to do! Fixed the issue I had without needing a return visit. Highly recommended!!
You call and leave a message for service. Never received a call back & its been 2 weeks. Guess they dont care about their customers once they get your business. The out a complete furnace/AC & duct work in. Guess they dont like to support their customers !! BBB here I come !!

I had what I thought was a major problem with my air conditioner. They sent out a tech named Matt. Not only did he explain what the problem was, he fixed it for less than a quarter of the other estimates I had received before. I feel like I wasted time and money calling anyone else.

Horrible company reffered to me by american homeshield who is an even worse company. Terrible customer service and they leave you burning up in the summer with no a/c because they just don’t care. They charged me $150 to come out to my house and absolutely no work was done.

Currently talking to police making a report. This guy shouldn’t be driving. He almost crashed with my sister making her get on the curve when he cut her off. When confronted (have a video as proof) he stated he was in a rush and clearly said he didn’t care my sister had kids in the car with her. What a shame and waste of humanity.
