I just did a tour/presentation with DR Horton construction and sales team at Sunterra. and it was great information about the construction material quality and efficiency. The community have great amenities and their floor plans are beautiful. #Realtorforlife 🏡🏠

Very bad service. After you have your documents ready, they give you the closing date. You pay to do the tour and wait a certain amount of time. 2 days before closing, they say that the house is already sold. There is no house within 3 months. I do not recommend them. Dr. Horton

Bobby was great! He walked through every detail and took his time explaining things step by step. I am a first time home buyer and even though I did not buy with DR Horton & Bobby, he made sure to answer all my questions and not rush me. I would recommend him to anyone looking in the Katy area :)

Seth Cooke makes the building process easy and smooth, he builds the houses like they are his own and inspects every aspect to make sure things are being done correctly! You have a good one in Seth DR!

From the first moment I meat Jorge Lemos he was informative, displayed knowledge of the homes, the plans, and the builder’s quality. As we progressed through the transaction, he walked us through every step of the purchase experience, but most importantly, he was always available to listen to any concerns that would come up. Jorge understood the personal significance and the financial magnitude of a new home purchase and worked through D.R. Horton’s processes and policies to address and alleviate all of our concerns. His willingness to always empathize and help with the process that is buying a new home made the home buying process with D.R. Horton truly remarkable.I’m not a person to write reviews, positive or negative. Jorge’s, professionalism is undisputed, but it was his personal dedication that I feel worthy of classifying as “above and beyond”. To keep this email short, I’m going to list a few of the particulars that I think made this transaction challengingly unique:• We were buyers from out of State• The home that we ended buying was an upgrade suggestion that Jorge recommended but was due to be completed in August, Jorge arranged it so that it could be completed sooner to meet the closing deadline of 31st of July.• Our being out of town made the previously mentioned point particularly challenging as we had to arrange a mobile notary closing. Final walkthrough had to be arranged with my broker.• Jorge kept us abreast of the weekly progress of the home with sight visits and pictures and even phone calls which is rare• The communication and hand holding through the process was “white glove”Im very thankful to have worked with Jorge Lemos and the entire D.R. Horton Team.

My daughter and her husband recently purchased a DR Horton home in the Sunterra development in Katy, TX. Luckily for me, I got to tag along for several of the house-hunting adventures. Our most memorable (and fun) introduction to DR Horton homes was with sales representative Richard Worthy. Richard quickly learned that my daughter and her husband were buying their first home and that they would be moving back to the Houston area after 10 (long for me) years in Seattle. He gave us all the time we needed to roam through the model home and then took us out to a home close to completion (more than once). He didnt hover or pressure us in any way. Instead he gave us time to explore, discuss and dream among ourselves. Once the buyers made a decision, Richard patiently helped them through every step of the way in the process. As a mother, I am SO grateful to Richard and others at DR Horton for making my daughter and her husbands experience truly a dream come true. Neighborhood is extremely nice! new suddivision and away from all the noise. Although a bit far from groceries, stores, etc, it is very peaceful and can not wait to enjoy home here!

Idk... not really impressed. Pretty far from any major highways. Inner drive will take about 15-20 mins in high traffic. All their amenities are supposed to be open in mext 5 years. Also all the homes are too close together. There is no space. Feels like living in a townhome.

AJ was incredibly helpful my wife and I was very impressed with his customer service and the touring experience was breathtaking the overall experience was great at Lennar at Sunterra Katy .

DR. Horton is a very irresponsible company with guarantees, some do make them, others do not, be very careful because when I built the house they told me that it had a one-year guarantee, but they did not tell me that if the windows broke they would not cover my liability. warranty, the glass in my bathroom broke when the house was sitting and the walls cracked and they are still cracking, and they are not going to cover that anymore, now they say that I have to change the glass where it broke at the same time that the walls, be very careful, it is important to see the customer comments, the paint on the doors is peeling in less than a year, the paint explodes and lifts like plastic, it is of very poor quality, they use lower materials stranded, the wood is used green and the walls remain united. The truth is that I have had a very bad experience with this company and in the process they left a skunk locked in the bathtub and it exploded, I spent a lot of time putting up with that skunk poison, and the guarantees make you waste a lot of time, I lost months of work because sometimes Every now and then they came for the guarantees, and for that lost time they do not pay me, it would be good if they came at the same time to cover the guarantees, otherwise they give hours in the afternoon or mid-day where one can no longer go to work. The truth is I dont recommend them. Ill sell the house, Im not happy.
