UPDATE 6/12: Appliance team informed us that that this is a major building design and implementation issue, where a wall oven unit has been installed on the floor, thereby venting all the heat on the floor and potential risk to burn it.We are shocked as this is a major blunder on part of the house design and concerning how Ashton Woods Builder went ahead to approve and build it such.Builder team earlier informed us that they may replace the appliance however it will still be the exact same model and hence they will not provide any assurance it will not overheat.We except the builder team recognizes the seriousness of this matter on how grave oversight in building design is posing security risk to residents.Original 6/7: Purchased a new home in gated section with new stove oven installed by builder. On using it, stove oven is over heating both the appliance and extensively heating the wooden floor, and can lead to burning the floor and is a safety hazard. Technician visited and confirmed the stove and oven is over heating and will damage the floor. He asked not to use the stove and oven at the same time. Both builder and their contractor are pointing fingers or blaming it on random stuff, when clearly the appliance and design are not working as they should and is a safety hazard for residents. Not at all a good service experience or any support from the team to help resolve it.

Going to Ashton Woods was one of the best decisions that we made when buying a home. Especially as a first-time home buyer. I would get a weekly call from both Shirin and Quang on the progress of our home. Shirin is very professional and was always there to answer all my questions. Quang has been there to help and answer our questions with the minor issues we have encountered. If you’re looking for a new home you should at least meet with the Ashton Woods team - it’s worth your time.

Me and my husband purchased a new home from Ashton woods and the company did a phenomenal job with the construction of the building to the customer services on the property. They truly made this process an easy, stress free process. Their lender is also wonderful, she was there to assist us in every way.

I cannot recommend Ashton Woods enough! From the moment we walked in to the model home we knew we were going to choose a home with them. Sunterra itself has a TON of builders, we went to most if not all of them. They all fell short with one thing or another. With AW the quality of our home is amazing for the value of it! Shirin and Quang were always in contact with us with updates and answered all of our questions. This is our first home so we didn’t know what to expect but they made the entire process smooth sailing. They continue to stay in touch with us after closing which we appreciate! In November my husband and I started the process of building a house in Sunterra. We visited another home builder before going with Ashtonwoods. The first person I spoke to was Shirin and she was amazing! She was very fast anytime I needed ANYTHING. Quang is our construction manager for our house and he was fantastic as well. I got a phone call from both Shirin and Quang weekly to update us on the progress of the house. We moved into our house at the end of May and they still check in, and Quang has stopped by the house a couple times just to make sure everything is perfect. I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Ashtonwoods!

Shirin and Quang did a great job on my new home in Sunterra. The kept me advised of schedule throughout construction and delivered the home on time. Minor issues have been addressed promptly and completed. As a General Contractor, I would recommend this team to any future Home buyer.

I can’t say enough about my wonderful experience with AW. I started my search in Dec 2021 and met with Shirin virtually. I was planning on moving from NYC to Houston. As soon as I saw the Katy plan on the website, I was convinced that this was the perfect builder for me. Shirin and Quang have been the best through this entire process and kept me informed on the tiniest detail during this process. The best part about this is that even after closing in October, they remained close by while assisting me with relocating. Every question was addressed professionally and to my satisfaction. I have the perfect home in the perfect neighborhood. I would choose them again a million times. I would never imagine that this entire process would be so seamless but it was. Very unprofessional. Walked into the model home and Shirin did not want to show us (my wife and I) any other inventory homes simply because we did not feel comfortable giving her our information.
