This builder has been terrible for anyone warranty related. I personally have warranty requests open from when my house was first built that have not been addressed. 2-10 has been awful at anything scheduling related and have only seem to be interested in covering for the builder. The builder also doesn’t investigate any of the issues and their fixes are surface level bandaids without any addition follow through if the fix doesn’t work. I also have issue with the windows as well as some roof leaks around piping that wasn’t sealed well.

I recently purchased a house with Contempo builders a few weeks ago. & while there were a few things that I wanted fixed, Alex was amazing to work with! His response times, attention to detail and ability to go above and beyond has made me an extremely satisfied customer. He has been able to provide better customer service than the seller, Claudia, that we worked with. Alex is the best thing to happen to Contempo. I wish all builders had his level of customer service! He has made my first home purchase amazing! Thank you, Alex!

Edit: Homes are beautiful, but quality of the house material is cheap. I don’t feel like repairs are done in a timely manner.

My new build house has had many issues with leaking water. Several of the windows were not sealed correctly. The paint quality is extremely poor as well

I worked with Contempo in 2019 when I purchased my new home from them. I mainly worked with Alessandro. He was very personable, patient and responsive to all my questions as a first time home buyer. Like any new build, things come up and he and his team always try to fix it as soon as possible. Of course, we had schedule conflicts sometimes and I wasnt the only customer they had. So no, things do not happen next day, but they will fix it. That always gave me peace of mind.

Worked with Contempo for the new Agua community in Houston and the experience was overall positive. Alessandro (Alex) the construction Manager was extremely patient during the whole process ensuring I was satisfied with all my requests. The materials quality used for the build was high level and the finishing as well. Alex went over the top ensuring that even after the purchase I was happy, all was going smoothly and up to my expectations. I will buy for sure Contempo Homes.

DO NOT PURCHASE A HOME FROM THIS BUILDER!They are a money hungry and inhumane company. THEY RUSH TO BUILD AND SELL HOMES THAT ARE NOT PROPERLY WIRED AND DO NOT HAVE CORRECT PLUMBING.They ruined my first home purchase experience. For over 7 months the hot water in my home has NOT been working.I leave monthly voicemails and emails but they are SO GREEDY and EVIL that they temporarily patch up the problem rather than actually fixing the problem.They send agents to temporarily fix the problem which is an Ongoing issue since July 2022. It is now February 2023 and this is STILL a problem during WINTER SEASON!They have sent many plumbers to switch my water heater on although for MONTHS I have requested them to fix the plumbing issue entirely in my BRAND NEW HOME or replace my water heater.They have not done either. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE MISFORTUNE, STRESS AND DISCOMFORT AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.I will be contacting Better Business Bureau as my next course of action. Please AVOID PURCHASING HOMES FROM THESE BUILDERS who do not care about selling habitable new homes to their customers.

Ricardo has been great to work with. After moving into our beautiful house, he was very responsive and his team quickly fixed some minor issues that we had found. Highly recommend!

I enjoyed working with Contempo Builder. Alex, Alessandro, very responsive and available regularly. I had the pleasure of selling homes in La Sierra and Rio communities. Builder and his team are readily available to assist their realtors with buyers.

I have grown to be extremely disappointed with Contempo Builders. While we love our neighborhood and home, Contempo has failed miserably to stand behind their workmanship when it comes to warranty repairs. It took them months and multiple phone calls to complete repairs on our home that were contingent in our closing agreement. Since then we have had an issue that has fallen within our 2 year warranty that they continue to try to weasel out of. Frustration with warranty repairs is a common theme within our community and I am disheartened how our relationship with Contempo has devolved. I have lost faith and trust in their word to back their craftsmanship and honor their warranty.

Im very glad that I bought through Contempo. Ricardo was especially responsive and helpful. He went out of his way to make sure that my wife and I were taken care of and gave us lots of good tips and advice.

Ricardo was always willing to help us with any issues we ran into or questions we had with the design of our home. He was very respectful and easy going with any situation and never hesitated to go the extra mile.

We were first time homebuyers, and this home has been a wealth of lessons learned. While our home was initially great, weve had a myriad of cut corners requiring fixes and/or causing damage over the years. The warranty provided by the builder is bare minimum and the communication and deflection of blame from their team will drive you to pay out of pocket than fight. 🙄

As a long time resident at one of the Contempo properties, have dealt w Ricardo as my go-to for any and all issues related to my property or the common grounds. He has been very helpful and diligent in addressing all concerns - been a pleasure dealing w Ricardo and the team!
