Cane Island - 50 Homesites - David Weekley Homes

We recently purchased and move in to a David Weekley home. Trusting the builder I gave 10/10 review and stuff before we move in. Unfortunately regret my decision immediately after move in. Builder stopped taking calls after the review, acted like a friend till that time.We could see very poor workmanship done, especially window pillars in primary suite and study room were not in right alignment and after installing blinds anyone could see through the sides from outside, builder openly said we won’t build perfect houses and we can’t do nothing about this, probably we can give contact number of drywall company.That’s just one example. Beware of cracked bricks on the exterior wall as they had used lots of poor quality bricks.I could not explain my disappointment in this comment. Will definitely give a feedback to David Weekley and see what they have to say.Better go with Perry Homes, I’m hearing lots of feedbacks from my friends living in Perry homes.Home design of David Weekley is good, lots of usable spaces, unfortunately material quality and workmanship are lacking. I would not recommend.Builder told me that he will give “We won’t build perfect houses” in writing. I’ll share it once I get that writing. Thank goodness Dinesh SCs feedback made me reconsider going with David Weekly Builders; its really scary 😱. Im planning to buy a home at David Weekly Jordan Ranch. I just wanted to gather some feedback from completed projects. Not happy so far and dropped my decision. Also, he recommended going with Perry Home, which was on my preferred list. Thanks, Dinesh, for sharing your experience, and please let us know how old the home is. Is it new or resale?

If you do not want to have stress, headaches and risk your investment, you have to have a good real estate agent, YOU TRUST, to represent you AND A GOOD INSPECTOR YOU TRUST, to do the final inspection. I do not know trust because it is a new house, there are no defects. I am buying a house and according to the builder everything was fine, and when my inspector went, he found many errors and faults, serious in the construction. They had to fix them, thank God they did it right. How many houses will they have delivered without an independent inspection????? I paid $700 to my inspector. He had to go 2 times.

Love the design and award winning energy efficiency features. Using 2x6 boards instead of 2x4s in the framing shows that quality is the most important consideration in the construction process. David Weekley home owners know their home will be in great condition for many decades.

The sales team is great. Was nice to be able to buy a home and make changes to the floor plan.George Brown, how many homes do you own in Cane Island? You’ve spammed every builder’s reviews whining about taxes.....

Loved the 3 bedroom layout. The 4 bedroom wasnt cut it was more elongated. Not as homey ,but really loved the 3 bedroom.

The neighborhood is beautiful and there is so much to do in the activity center. Really hoping that my family will move there soon.
