What ever happen to the greatest store manger to ever work for Baker? I think his name was Joe. I really miss that guy. He was one in a million! I “heard” he moved to the Ozarks to sip bourbon, ride Harleys and catch fish. What a bitchin dude. 🤔
Worst customer service ever. Was sold the wrong part. (They didnt even know how to sell the part )When I went to return the part , I was told that I couldnt return the part because I clipped wire ends. (Solenoid valve head)Still in the box , in perfect condition.I ate the cost if the valve body because we installed into the loop. (Wasnt the right body for the refrigerant we were using) after realizing the error, I removed the head and went to another supply house and purchased the correct body and head. I know they can return to the mfg and get another one , no cost, even trade, but no,......... . I mean that would take them doing a job they went into business to be! Thanks for making sure I never come back.Sincerely very angry customer.Horrible customer relations.They just cant seem to get good people in the Katy store.
I had technical problem and needed advice. They schooled me for 15 minutes, all for just a $20 part. Very cheerful place, knowledgeable and patient people behind the counter. They ought to open a bar there and sell hot dogs, it was fun!
This company is not where you want to go if your looking for knowledgeable staff. I was sold the wrong part. When I brought it back they acted like it was my fault for buying the wrong part, even though I told them what it was for. I plugged the new part in when I got home, it didnt work. It was the wrong part. When I took it back, it turns out there was one specifically for my appliance. The appliance I had mentioned initially. Their comment was we will not give you credit for the wrong part because you plugged it in. Remember they sold it to me as the part I needed, even though when I returned there was one specifically for the manufacturer of my appliance. They were condescending the whole time. All I wanted was to replace the wrong one for the right one. They wouldnt do it.
You must do your transaction out in the parking lot. In stead of making accommodation inside the store they have just closed it down to the public. Goodness help ya if forget anything. Oh yeah I better get some more duct seal. Now I have to go through back a stand in the parking lot. Maybe they should put the store at my shop and sell it to me on consignment.
As usual......Joe and the guys took care of me quickly, despite the rush going on everywhere since the BIG FREEZE overwhelmed the entire state!!!Good job fellas
