Our AC went out and the owner was so kind to us! We couldnt be more grateful. Additionally, the tech, a Mr. Michael Liu arrived swiftly. He was so informative, knowledgeable, and extremely professional. He immediately put us at ease by kindly walking us through everything. We hope to see him again and bring all our future business with these guys! 10/10 This is how the business should be done.

I was very impressed by the salesman, Manuel and the rest of the Crew that installed my generator. They were very professional and did a great job . I was also very impressed with Matt . A technician (Edgar) arrived within 1 hour of my initial call. Extremely easy to schedule and quick to arrive. Edgar was extremely prompt and nice. However, the suggested repairs for my service were extremely high and unable to provide appropriate feedback as to why. After getting a second and third opinion, not all of the services were needed and the prices were almost thousands of dollars higher than comparable pricing. They did over to look into pricing but we declined. Great for convenience but not my first choice.

I recently contacted Air Tech of Katy to get a quote for an AC repair, and I was thoroughly impressed with their service. The technician arrived on time and demonstrated a high level of professionalism and knowledge.Jefferson provided a detailed drawing to explain the issues with our AC system, which made it easy to understand the necessary repairs. Additionally, they took pictures of all the relevant details, ensuring nothing was missed.I appreciated their attention to cleanliness, as the technician wore shoe covers while inside my home. This small detail showed their respect for my property.Scheduling the appointment was straightforward with their user-friendly online booking system. It was easy to find a convenient time slot.

Efrim did a great job checking our AC and heat. He found an issue, alerted us right away, and clearly explained our options for fixing it. He made everything easy to understand and was very professional.

Mr. Liu was very competent and knowledgeable of our system. He was very honest and helpful and I would recommend him to others. The installation crew was fantastic as well. Overall a great experience. So far it is cold so we will be using the heater. Looking forward to some hot days to rest new AC System.

Efrim was excellent. He kept me informed, was very knowledgeable on my really complex system, and finished on time. He took the time to walk me through the results and make sure everything was correct. Then he vacuumed the whole area. Everything was left spotless. Great job all around.

Nazareth was an amazing tech. Very friendly, knowledgeable and honest. The company has very fair prices and were quick to respond. Also when I called to make the appointment a person answered right away instead of an automated system. Overall amazing experience.

I’ll start by saying Edgar was very considerate and polite. This 1 star review does not reflect on him or his ability to diagnosis our issue; however, this company’s lack of professionalism, astronomical markups, and inability to give detailed descriptions of the parts necessary to complete the repair are inexcusable. For context, our heater went out and upon diagnosis, Edgar found that we needed two parts for it be repaired. While he was on time and professional, he could not explain why the costs for said parts were between 6 and 10 times the amount online. With labor being considered, yet not documented anywhere on the invoice, we called the office to speak with a manager while he left to get the parts. Not only did we not receive a call back until the following day, we received two separate calls from the office, one to schedule an initial appointment, which had already occurred, and a second call to perform the same task after the repair had been completed. While miscommunications happen, this was even more infuriating when we were told that the manager, Ed, would be contacting us to resolve the issue. Once we finally received his call, we were told that he did not know the part numbers of either part nor could he explain why the costs were extremely overpriced but he did offer a 5% discount on our insanely high bill. Needless to say, we will not be using their services again and we will inform anyone who asks to do the same. This is extremely unfortunate for a company that claims to have upfront pricing and 100% customer satisfaction guaranteed while priding itself on honesty and professionalism. Our experience couldnt have been further from those truths. Buyer beware.

This review is more about the business practices itself and not the tech. The tech was hardworking and professional for sure. That said, they missed the window to show up by 4 hrs but updated me twice in the process. I told the tech where the leak is and he ignored what I told him and spent 1.5 hrs trying to find a leak in a different area. At the end, the leak was exactly where I told him but had to spend 10x the cost of the refrigerant compared to others and once the leak and issue was identified, tech made the leak much bigger only to say he can’t repair it the same day and have to wait 2-3 days without the AC and spend a lot more to repair it again. The cost of refrigerant was not mentioned upfront either, it was after the fact and of course, making me sign that I approved the work after it was already done. How can a leak detection $89 end up being over $500?

Great service. Fast, Everything was completed the same day within 2-3 hours of the diagnostic visit. Impressed with Egdars knowledge and professionalism . I’m happy he got our A/C working again, will recommend. Thank you Edgar!!

Joseph Leach of Air Tech of Katy was very helpful in selecting replacement air conditioners for my home. We selected a 5-ton two stage main unit and a 3-ton as the secondary one. The installation was performed the day after I met with Joseph. Eric, the lead installer, was very professional and was able to answer questions I had during the installation process. The installation went smoothly, starting about 9:00AM and finishing around 2:40PM. Eric’s crew cleaned up all of the debris from removing the old unit, installing new thermostats and enlarging one of the openings for the return air on one of the units. I am very pleased with the results. I would highly recommend Joseph and Eric and his crew to anyone wanting to replace their air conditioner unit(s).NOTE:If you are having a new gas furnace installed and have a gas hot water heater, make sure to tell Eric (or the lead installer) to re-light the pilot on the hot water heater.

Jefferson, Daniel and Salvador were very friendly and professional. Daniel and Salvador got to work, installed AC and made sure they cleaned up in the attic and everywhere else before leaving. They also did a walk through in the attic and outside as well. I really appreciate that. You have an awesome team

Great estimate on ETA and arrived on time. Wore shoe protectors without even having to be asked. Have a clear and precise rundown of what he was going to do and how long it would take. Finally provided excellent feedback on what was gone and recommendations made given my daughter has asthma. Darien was an excellent tech and he answered all my questions and performed all the tasks in great time. I cannot praise his professionalism enough! Great service, great tech!

Salvador and Emanuel did an amazing job today. They had my house added to their list at the last minute and yet, were amazing and did a phenomenal job. They respected our home and laid protective covering on the floor and even though they had to stay after 5 pm to complete the job, were cordial and very polite. They are welcome to perform any work on my home any time!!

The technician who did our quote, Efrim was polite and courteous.We asked for a quote for a complete replacement of our outdated AC unit. Despite this he did find it necessary to open up the unit to take photos so he could show me how bad it was. I already knew it was bad and felt this was more for the customer who was ‘on the fence’ about a new unit and not really relevant to me as I know my unit is in need of replacement, hence me asking for the quote in the first place.My second and main issue was with the quotes. We only received bottom line figures and zero itemisation? Every other company gave us concise cost breakdowns of parts, equipment and labour but Efrim refused this and told me they weren’t the company for us if I wanted an itemised estimate? He told me no other company would itemise a quote despite every other company doing exactly that?I have over fifteen years in domestic and civil construction and I know when I’m being taken for an idiot. I also know if the price is double what any other company is asking and they won’t break down the costs then there is definitely a disproportionate mark up being applied to either equipment or labour.Warning to anyone, get more than one quote as some company’s just want your money and trust that your ignorance of their trade will fool you into paying well over the fair price.

Im so glad I called Air Tech! My friend recommended their membership and it was time for the AC unit to be checked so I made the call. Rudy Allen came out for the initial inspection and caught some issues that could have cost me a lot of money in the long run. Shane Williams came out the second time to install a surge protector and it took him no time at all! Both of these gentlemen were super knowledgeable and very nice. I would highly recommend Air Tech for your AC/heating needs!

Ive been using Air Tech of Katy for several years. My technician [Manuel Villalobos] is prompt, professional and efficient. He explains everything clearly and gets the job done quickly. My home is comfortable year-round, and I couldnt be happier with their service. Highly recommend!

Now I understand why this place has such a high rating! I have been their customer for about 4-5 years now. We’ve been content with their services- nothing to complain about.We recently had an issue with our heater and had someone from AirTech come look at the furnace on Friday. They identified the problem, but did not have the right part. So they said they would come back first thing Monday when their warehouse opens (i guess their warehouse is closed on weekends.), before the winter storm hits Houston. Of course, the forecast is never accurate and it started getting colder faster than expected. I was worried that we would be stuck with no heater during a hard freeze.This afternoon, Sunday!!! AirTech guys (Michael and someone I cannot remember the name, sorry!!!) showed up with the right parts to finish working on the furnace so we would have heat. I did not expect them to show up until Monday since their warehouse was not open on weekends.They do care about their customers. Seriously recommend this place.

I was completely impressed with Manuel Villalobos professionalism and service. He explained in detail the different A/C units they offered and their packages. I feel that pricing is fair and transparent - definitely value for money. The crew that came in for the installation was punctual, knowledgeable, friendly and very respectful of our property. I highly recommend Air Tech of Katy, their service was outstanding, exceeding my expectations.

Michael was a great tech. On the first visit to diagnose the issue, he was on a mission. He checked everything, and then told us something no one wants to know. Our unit was over 18 years old and had a major leak in the system. So, we invested in a brand new Trane. From diagnostic to replacement was maybe 24 hours. We appreciate Michael’s attention to detail and his customer.

Jefferson was the technician that came to our home to check out our old HVAC system. Jefferson was clear about the problems and sat down and offered us a solution from his company to replace our 30 year old system. Jefferson again was clear in the options available. He was polite, personal, professional, respectful and cheerful. After installation, Jefferson returned for a follow-up check of the new HVAC system and new duct work.Daniel and Salvador were the installers. They were on time, professional, cheerful. They knew their routine and worked well together. Both were diligent in their work and knowledgeable in the electronics of the HVAC system. They worked from 9:00 am until 8:00 pm to get the job done with a tiny lunch break. Their explanations of their work was clear. They put down floor coverings to protect our carpet as well as shoe coverings prior to the floor coverings.We have used Air Tech on two of our rental properties and now on our personal home and have been pleased with their entire staff.

Jeremy came to our house and quickly got our AC fixed. We talked about my wifes allergies and ways our AC could help. He recommended a product that we are planning to get installed. He is very professional knowledgeable and personable. We will ask for him if we need further help. Great job!!!

They have amazing reviews . Im new to area so I was looking for a reputable company to diagnose and help me with my ac issue. They sent Edgar I was not on sight unfortunately so we had to communicate through cell phone. He became frustrated with my questions and concerns about a major repair which he was recommending for my home. I do have right to feel comfortable with spending my own money right? So with that being said he decided to tell me I need to go with another company stormed out of my house... is that your standard? Very unprofessional and I would not recommend anyone use this company they will send Edgar who has 0 customer service skills and is easily frustrated. Still waiting on call from management to get a better understanding of SOPs.

Had an issue with the unit on a Saturday. Rudy from Air tech was there within a few hours (before the originally given window) and fixed it in no time. Also checked filters and did some other maintenance checks along the way. Explained everything clearly and was great. Would definitely recommend.

We couldnt be more pleased with the job Air Tech did to provide us with a generator.We live in an old house on a small lot with trees and various structures in our back yard. There was no obvious easy place to situate the generator , meet city codes and safety considerations, and keep it from being an eyesore. But the Air Tech team, led by Matt Davis, figured out a solution that met all our requirements.Air Tech quoted us a fixed price which was somewhat higher than what another supplier quoted. However we had more confidence in the Air Tech team, especially after we learned that the other proposal would have violated building codes and likely caused damage to our AC units. Along the way we requested some changes to make the installation more aesthetically pleasing. Matts team graciously accommodated all our requests without changing the price. Their top priority was to make us happy with the end product.The Air Tech team was professional, honest, pleasant to work with and lived up to all its promises. The unit tested out perfectly. I highly recommend this company.

Gave AirTech a call and was given a near 5 hour window to send someone out. That wasnt a problem at all, but it was nice to get a text within the hour that a tech was on the way. They sent Edgar out to take a look at things. The best comment I can give is honest. I really appreciated how honest he was with me on my issue. No pushy offer or scare tactics to sell me on things. The honestly alone will bring me back as a customer. Thank you.

Impressive from start to finish. From the estimate to the sale, Joseph was straightforward, honest, and helpful. I didn’t have to wait days to hear back either. Joseph had multiple estimates sent to me less than an hour after leaving, and was more than happy to explain each one in detail.Installation was the next day and the crew of two showed up right on time and got straight to it. Daniel P. made sure to keep us updated all day and explained everything they were doing. Knocked out the new system install all in a day. Really appreciated the good attitude and hard work, these guys were absolute professionals.Saved us from a weekend of miserable heat, and we definitely know who to call next time!

This is the second time I asked Air Tech of Katy to repair my air conditioner. Yesterday, the thermostat of my air conditioner system suddenly stopped displaying. I contacted Air Tech of Katy at around 7pm. The operator quickly recorded the problem and agreed to arrange an engineer to repair it the next morning. Mr. Edger arrived on time in the morning, wearing shoe covers when entering the door, and all kinds of professional tools were available. Mr. Edger quickly eliminated the fault and solved the problem. After two air conditioner inspections, I think Air Tech of Katys technicians are very professional, enthusiastic in service, and charge reasonable fees. In short, this is a trustworthy air conditioner repair company.

Air Tech answered our call on a Saturday night. Eduardo came out early on Sunday and found the AC problem right away. He was very informative and checked the Trane warranty info before giving us an estimated cost on repairs. Eduardo fixed the problem quickly and was very courteous and professional.

Michael Liu was very attentive to the issue and detail oriented with his sketch to make sure the installation team did everything correctly. They did the work in one day and cleaned after. I would recommend Air Tech of Katy again.

Air Tech of Katy came out to do a service check on our furnace before winter. Since it wasnt an emergency, I was able to schedule the appointment for the most convenient time for me. I received a phone call and email telling me that Darien was on his way. Darien introduced himself and wore shoe covers while inside my home. I appreciated this since there are littles crawling about. He gave detailed explanations of the condition and even showed me pictures from previous visits regarding the inside of my blower box. I really appreciated that consistency. We can also discuss past visits and records of my service items. I recommend them to all of my neighbors!

Nazareth installed an easy start control unit for our AC and, as usual, he took his time to ensure the job was done right before he explained its function. Better yet, he stayed and helped his coworkers install the whole house generator that I ordered after he and I discussed during his previous visit. We greatly appreciated him hanging around to make sure the generator install went well.

These guys are pretty good. They have very quick response time. They are mindful about communicating and explaining what the problems are and how to prevent them in the future. I signed up for the annual plan. I think it’s worth the money.

Excellent job. Nazareth spent over an hour on my annual maintenance. Replaced the hard start kit under warranty and washed out the condenser coils. Checked the whole system out and went over the condition of everything.

AC unexpectedly went out right before we were going out of town. Air tech came out right away and Joesph Leach was able to diagnose the problem and recommend the best solution. He went above and beyond to ensure the part was delivered and fixed the next day!

Corey came out and investigated why my system was not working. Very professional and knowledgeable. Was able to identify the cause and resolution. Was also very polite and well spoken. Serves as a good role model to technicians and for Air Tech of Katy. The team at Air Tech as a whole were great.

Had a very professional and kind interaction with Eduardo from Airtech of Katy.We had a tune-up both of our air conditioning units.Scheduling was simple and Eduardo showed up quickly. From my experience, I would definitely promote this company.Update 8/21/24: Eduardo came back to our home because our fussy system developed an attitude with us but didnt reveal any warning messages on the thermostat. Edgar was very knowledgeable about his equipment, brands and not pushy with sales. I was impressed with how clean and neat his team was. They tore out the old system and within 4 hours they installed a completely new AC system outside and in the attic! Same day service at its finest they left no trail that they were even on the property! After shopping around, I have to say I made the correct choice. You cannot beat 10 years stress free AC unit!!

Naz figured out our HVAC issue and got us up and running again. Also, properly wired the dehumidifier so it wasn’t running 24/7. He also did a very good job explaining everything. Thanks Naz.

Once the technician, Manuel, arrived he was very quick at repairing my hvac blower. I was under the impression it could take several hours but Manuel got it done in 30 minutes.

Jeremy did a great job servicing my heating systems. Following the service he noted that everything was working ok with the exception that one of the heating fans was operating on slightly higher current than recommended.

Mr Palmer my Air Tech technician does a great job of explaining any issues he may have found in a way that is easy to understand. Always double checks my thermostats to make sure they are reset where I had them prior to his arrival.Im comfortable enough to leave the house while he is inside working on either my Furnace or Air Condition.He also reminded me the need to have at least 2 Carbon Monoxide AlarmI always ask for him when I need serviceJim

Amazingly fast service! Joseph Leach, our Technician, provided quality service and care. Had our AC issue diagnosed in 10 minutes and repaired in less than that. House was already cooling before he left and was kind enough to talk through all of my new homeowner questions. Very personable and attentive. Would highly recommend!

Edgar, the Technician came out and diagnosed our A/C issue prior to assisting us with fixing the problem. Edgar was thorough, professional and knew what he was doing. They also sent the Technician out sooner than my appointment time which was appreciated as it is 100 degrees here in Houston in August!! I recommend Air Tech of Katy to others and I will be using them in the future for my A/C and Heating needs.

We call them out after our regular a/c man was busy. We were impressed by Air Techs reviews. The repairman came early. Said we had a leak could not repair it. Said he could put in a new system for $18,000. He could do it that day. He refused to put R22 refrigerate into the system. He did not take anything apart. He had a smug attitude. He wanted $85 for his coming out. We gave him the $85 and showed him the door.We called out our regular repairman. He put R22 refrigerant in and told us to hold on to the unit as long as we can.Out of curiosity I asked what it would cost to put in a new system. He said $11,000, but would not suggest replacing the heat part of the unit. That dropped the cost to under $7,000.Based on our experience I would stay away from Air Tech.

This is difficult to express as my 8-9 week process, 2 separate deliveries of Generator, 2 separate pad installation teams, having to replace the 1st gas line, phone calls to GM and others. When we were lead to believe it would be straightforward. NOT TRUE. As one of the early customers of Air Tech of Katy for Generator (though long time customer for HVAC) it became very clear that they were not prepared, absolutely poor coordination and communication, insufficient qualified talent, skills being time sliced across jobs (such as the electrician) who would come up with other excuses (lunch, emergency job, etc) and not return.. The saving grace for all of this and why it is at least 2 stars comes down to - Matt Evans remaining reachable, sincere, professional and personal effort to make things right. Second, for the late addition of Zach, the master gas plumber who ripped out the first gas line as being non compliant. Thanks to Matt and Zach I now have fully functional generator installed in a safe and compliant manner. Air Tech and Matt made sure that we were whole and owned up to their issues of start-up. Recommendation: I will continue to use them. However, for anyone getting a generator - ensure you know who Project Manager is, clear and definitive timeline/commitments for the trades, and the placement of generator is compliant to code. Then insist on regular communication, texts whatever on any deviation. Without Matt and Zach - would not have stayed the course.

Michael Liu was very helpful, informative, and understanding. He appears to be passionate about his job and caring about his customers. He was patient with me asking him questions and took the time to sit down with me and answer my questions to the best of his ability. I appreciate him servicing my AC and being an all around people person.

Extremely unfair company. Will never work with them again. Manager will not return phone calls. They are unable explain their 600% markup of parts pricing. They only say “that’s the price”. I will go out of my way to make sure no one I know ever uses them.

A/C went out on Sunday. Called Airtech and they had a technician at our home within 45 min. Determined we needed a new system (ours was 23 yrs old). Came back Monday at 9am and had everything installed and up and running by 1:15pm. All the technicians were knowledgeable, expedient and polite. Jefferson was the ultimate professional.First he asked me where the main HVAC system was located and then went outside for abou 15 minutes and tested outsice units.Once had completed thT inspect he cam back in took a look at the inside furnace, on the 3rd floor.The furnace was or is located in an extremely tight crawl space bc the attic in our home is finished.He spent 30+ minutes inspecting both units, and took pictures.He pointed out the units that were Not operating properly and in desperate need of replacement.He is an excellent technican that explains what is wrong with the system in a language that is easy to understood!

Hector was thorough he checked for emissions and leaks and cycled our system several times to ensure it was working correctly.

I contacted Air Tech of Katy recently for heating service and the technician came to my house, he was kind and courteous and knowledgeable.

I had originally given this company a better review on the same day but I guess didn’t hit post… I’ve since changed my mind… Jefferson was on time and walked me through what he see’s as the coming issues we’ll have in the future. Quoted me a new system, which was way more than I expected. As of his leaving I felt ok with the service call but I thought I was getting a service of the systems also, not just an inspection. My very real concern is that evening and every day since then my ac isn’t keeping up with the setting on the thermostat. Has NEVER done that before!!! Not once and we’ve had several days in the past at 100 degrees or more… I went into the attic and where the seal tape had been cut to view the coils, he never re-sealed, as he told me he would. pics, I bought some tape and resealed it myself hoping that only being unsealed and drawing in hot attic air was the brand new issue, but it’s still not cooling as it was the day before he arrived. Makes me wonder what else could have been done to ensure a new sale. 🧐 Actually wish I wouldn’t have called now … Not saying they definitely did anything like let Freon out, but it’s damn sure crossed my mind. Not happy.

After assessing the problem, he organized the next all-day MAJOR operation which began at 9am completed by sundown by a crew of four.Issue:The variable-speed Trane A/C appears to consume ¼ to 1/3 more electricity than the previous American Standard with two HIGH and LOW speed compressors.Impressive:Both supervisors Joe and Adam showed up a couple of times to inspect the ongoing installation inside the house attic and outside – making necessary corrections & refinements. A week later, Adam showed up to assess the ongoing USE of the installed products & recheck the installation. This was also impressive since most don’t give a hoot once they have your money. In a world of lies, deceit, treachery, bozos & con artists – Air Tech of Katy was outstanding.They aim to please. Well done!

Come home to a very hot house during the heat wave. . Called Air Tech and a tech named Corey came out. Corey went into the attic and spent a lot of time diagnosing the problem. It was the coil leaking. After explaining the problem to us, he went back to his shop to get freon to put in the unit to at least cool the house down over night as the new coil had to be ordered and would not be available until the next day.The next day at 8 am several tecs came and installed the new coil. They all worked fast and efficient. When it was all done everything was photographed and explained to us. Great company. Seems these guys care about people

I’m late with this review, but here I go. Eduardo Villanueva with Air Tech of Katy came out to our house on May 21 of this year, in answer to a call we placed just the day before about our air conditioner not cooling well. Eduardo was prompt and did a great job of checking everything out and performing needed service. We are very happy with him, as well as with Air Tech and have signed up for their regular maintenance service! Great company!

Michael Liu was my technician today. Much to my pleasant surprise, he arrived less than 2 hours after I called for service. He diagnosed and repaired the problem with my A/C unit very quickly. He was very friendly, polite and respectful of me and my property. He very willingly explained everything and answered all my questions.This is the first time I have used Air Tech of Katy. Based on todays experience, I would try them again in the future. Really not sure if he cleaned out my drain line from the unit in the attic through the conduit that runs to my guest bathroom. Said it drained a pitcher of water, but never seen him snake anything through the pipe to clean it out🤔 so I guess when it clogs again, I will call and be charged another $200

I unexpectedly had one of my AC units go out. After calling several companies, Airtech of Katy was able to send a tech within a few hours. I was kept informed of when my Tech Michael Liu would arrive and he even came a bit before the quoted timeframe. Michael was courteous and explained that everything to me about what he saw was wrong and was honest about what needed to repair without trying to sell anything unnecessary. Repair was done quickly. I was so impressed that I signed up for their maintenance plan. I am appreciative of Michael and this company.

We have been Air Tech of Katy customers for a few years. It’s a very professional and responsive organization. From Customer Service to Field Services, their people is very kind, polite and focused on solving our problems. They offer technical advise and explain the options clearly.Recently we were visited by technician Mr. Eduardo Villanueva and the feedback is very positive. He sent timely “on the way” message, was at the door on the time scheduled to diagnose the problem with our A/C system and offered options to resolve the problem in a very candid and professional way.

Jeremy changed our filter as requested and patiently answered my questions about how to change the filters and which filter was suitable for which furnace. Very much appreciated Jeremy’s competence and courtesy.

Do yourself a favor and go with any other company! We have had an allegedly new non working generator sitting next to our home for 6 weeks now. Starting with the salesman stating that the generator would be installed within a week. Come to find out their definition of installed just means dropping the item off but wanting you to sign paperwork that states it’s been installed. Their contracted plumbers and electricians are clueless and clearly not qualified to do the job. They will continue to tell you that they will send people out that will either show up multiple hours late or no show. Then they will show up when you aren’t home and without advance notice and still not resolve the issue. The expectation seems to be that you are to be home whenever they decide to show up at their convenience. You can’t use the excuse that these are contractors that don’t work directly for Air Tech of Katy. Air Tech of Katy did not allow me to choose my own electricians and plumbers and are the ones sending them to my home. So it’s 100% a reflection on the company and how they choose to run their business.

Thank you Air Tech of Katy, i wasnt ready to purchase a complete heat pump system today, but after meeting with Joseph today and talking with him I felt really confident that I had called the right company! He explained everything in detail with knowledge of how the system works including the technical part of it! The best part I believe is that Joseph takes his time and REALLY LISTENS to his customers! also hes flexible, he worked hard to get us the best system for our budget! The tech was polite and that was all... he came and never measured anything, looked around and told me the damper needed to be changed. I asked how much and he vomited 1800 dollars in 1 second right to my face like i was a dumb guy!! I obvioulsy declined as this was was too much. I looked around later on and asked for a couple of estimates which vary from 350 to 650 dollars so I would NOT recommend these folks.

Jeremy was my tech. We had an inspection from another AC company but called Air Tech of Katy as well for a second opinion. He reviewed every issue listed from the first inspection and honestly told me what I needed to worry about only. He explained everything to me. He drew pictures so I could understand the issue. I appreciate his candor and not just trying to sell me something I don’t need. We definitely will be using them again.

Unfortunate experience. On Thursday, the technician came in and suggested we fix thermostat ourselves (it turned out, not a layman’s job). On Friday, the technician provided me with an almost $ 1000 estimate. On Saturday, at the end of my 4-hour wait, called their customer service to learn that the technician was cancelled because I “said I had a home insurance” (no such thing ever came out of me). On Sunday, got Polar Express in: in 20 minutes, I was basking in an air-conditioned heaven. Needless to say, I will neither contact not recommend Air Techs of Katy.

Had an issue with my unit. Edgar came out and easily determine my issue and recommended a new unit! He helped me understand the process of getting one and even easily showed me how to apply and total cost of a new one. Very honest about pricing and issue with my unit. Recommend them if you have an issue with your AC so they can solve it

Air Tech of Katy was able to accommodate a same day service call very efficiently. Edgar was thorough and very patient through the process. He was able to lay out several options and plans of action. It was late in the evening. So, a crew was able to come out the next morning and get everything installed and back to normal right away. I would recommend hvac service needs

Very professional.Joseph followed up with final system setup, and as expected, he was excellent too.1/22/24Joseph was out today to resolve a vibration issue, very professional, resolved our problem, and made recommendations to the improve our system which we are considering.2023Edgar was very professional and pointed some issues we needed to address. 1st time visit, We are a new customer and had both the AC and Heating systems checkups.. Edgar was very helpful in us determining to go with the annual maintenance agreement. He also is dog friendly and that helps us out as well.We hope to see him again in Feb-Mar for our next AC checkup

Had a new AC installed. Damn quick (same day) and quality work effort. Safe clean polite. Three weeks later I smell refrigerant in the house. Have called for service work 4 times. And all four times they didnt show in the time allocated. And all four times I had to reschedule. I even pay for the warrantyThird visit by them. This time to upgrade the thermostat to a newer one. Rudy rocked it. I feel better about my decision. The guys that come.out here are awesome. If it werent for them, Id not be a happy camper. But the service guys are swesome.Upfront work is great. Warranty and service work scheduling is a tough. But the service is top notch.

The representative was great. However we decided to go with another system. The same Generac he quoted us on was available at Home Depot for a much lower price. There was also a highly rated tri-fuel generator by Westinghouse. My contractor will be working with a licensed electrician to upgrade my electrical panel and complete the installation of the complete system for 1/3 of what I was quoted by the representative. I’m giving a high rating only in response to the quality of the representative who did his job. The company’s pricing strategy is out of touch with reality.

This company with Jeremy installed a new A/C unit in our house in 2017 and hes been maintaining it for us ever since. They can be trusted and always have great services at reasonable prices. They are also just a pleasure to do business with. I can highly recommend this company and their people.

Found mold on the outside of unit so wanted to replace the whole HVAC unit for an extremely high price tag, a cost of a nice car. Got a second opinion and that was not the case.

I felt they are honest people in terms of not trying to build any pressure to get in to some contract or servicing or unnecessary repairs fixes.Apart from that I reached out to them when my outdoor compressor got burned out. I used their services to get it replaced which was done on a Friday evening after they finished their work I called them for a follow up visit which they came and checked their work to ensure everything is running as expected. They came and did so I am happy with their service.

EDUARDO VILLANUEVA came out today on short notice to check out our ac that stop working. He was very knowledgeable and provide great service.

Rudy gave me a courtesy call before arrival time. The appointment was set between 10 am and 2 pm They arrived within the window time. Rudy and his partner were courteous,introduced themselves,and got right to work. They all were professional and polite. They wore shoes covers while inside and carried all their tools in bags. They worked for about 2 hrs fixing the A/C unit and also did the spring inspection on all 3 A/C units. Once completed he went over potential things that needed addressing with me and what was the problem and what was fixed with the unit. They cleaned up any mess and put things back as it was. I signed all the completion work orders and they departed.Job well done Rudy! We have A/C working! 5 stars same day repair!

We called AirTech looking for immediate service when our AC quit- middle of summer!Their tech, Khammron, was over the next morning and he was able to quickly diagnose the issue and while he was there was able to fix another issue that I thought I needed a different professional for (Plumbing issue). Corey was our tech and was very professional, easy going, and knowledgeable. He showed up when scheduled and was able to quickly diagnose and fix the problem. I also asked about maintenance to prevent future problems and he discussed membership program and services provided by the company.

The AC quit cooling one evening and Air Tech sent Darien first thing in the morning. He was courteous and systematically checked things out from the thermostat to the inside unit and then to the outside unit. Couldn’t identify the problem but he took apart some connections, cleaned and reconnected them and we had cool air. Darien hung around a while to make sure stayed working. Since we had the membership, there was no cost. Thank you Air Tech.

5/5 stars for the commitment and late night work.2/5 stars for the actual quote and repair.My AC blew out random during the day in the summer and called the Air Tech of Katy. Although it was late in the day, the tech did commit to coming to my house the same day to look at what was wrong no matter what time it was. He got to my house at around 9pm which was surprising and amazing. No complaints there.However, when the tech checked my system to see what was wrong, he quoted me a complete system overhaul, or a new AC unit both costing multiple thousands of dollars. There was an after hour charge for his visit too which I understood. I was skeptical at first on the quote so I got a second opinion. Turn out, it was just a capacitor and was able to get my unit fixed for about a hundred dollars. Kinda disappointed that the tech didn’t catch it.Giving it 3/5 stars overall since the tech was so friend. It was also late at night in the middle of summer, so he was probably tired. Just not happy about the whole repair process.

Great customer service! I am proud of his work. Kalvin Palmer is a great AC man !!! Great job on replacing the condensers part, and great attitude every time he’s worked here. Five stars.

I found Efrim very efficient today ,he explained all our options & did explain that it would be our best option to have a new installation , but found that option too expensive at present so went for the repair,which Efrim attended to & completed ,overall ,Efrim was very pleasant, professional & a totally nice Guy ,would definitely recommend his services

Rudy was very helpful and informative with the issue we were having with our AC. He took the time and explained all our options and set up the repair before he left our house. He also set up a follow up visit to ensure everything was installed correctly and no further issues were present. I would highly recommend Rudy for any future AC diagnostic issues.

I was having problems with my AC unit. Hector Salgado came out to check on the issue. He was very courteous and kept me well informed through each step of the process. He finally found that the system was overcharged. He took great care in recapturing the refrigerant and getting the system within specs.Hector is a wonderful and very professional technician.

Khammron from Air Tech of Katy was very kind to come out on a Sunday. He was very thorough and explained my situation very clearly. Unfortunately my dripping air conditioner problem ended up being a plumbing issue. Hopefully their plumbing department will be able to resolve it quickly. I do appreciate Khammron checking it out.

Our Specialist Jefferson was awesome. He was professional and did a fantastic job. However, we are on the last leg with our systems and was quoted by Airtech was a new replacement system. There was definitely sticker shock and upon reaching out to other local companies well, well above the going rate for new systems.So in the end, I feel like they will do a fantastic job inspecting our systems on an annual basis; that was put in by a different company.

I am about a year late and that is my fault. I have to give huge Kudos to Air Tech Of Katy and their tech, Joseph Leach. We had two complete AC units installed in March 2023 and it went very smoothly. The crew was efficient and courteous! I highly recommend them!

Khammron and the team at Air Tech of Katy were extremely polite and professional. I asked a barrage of questions and each one was met with an excellent, immediate response. Khammron made me feel like I was definitely doing business with the right AC company. We had been having issues with our HVAC system since last summer. We used Air Tech of Katy then. When they came back and it was the same issue they did all the service for free and then helped set me up with a great deal to ensure I’d be up and running for good. I’m confident if I ever have any HVAC issues again Air Tech will provide me with great service and great deals. Highly recommend.

From my first meeting with Max, my confidence in my choice to use AirTech-Katy was confirmed. He communicated clearly and took time to answer ALL of my questions.When Matthew called the very next day to tell me that my Generac was going to be delivered, I was over the moon. The generator was delivered ahead of schedule and Matthew and his team were professional, knowledgeable and careful to respect my outside vegetation.Matthew kept me informed of the scheduling for the gas and electrical work, all of which happened on time.He then came out and reviewed the setup and operation of the generator.People are who make a company’s reputation. Mr. Eduardo was on time and made every effort to notify me he was on his way. He started the service quickly and let me know his concerns about the unit. He provided two options and let me know both could be performed in a timely fashion. He also added pictures to the invoice which I appreciated.
