I was referred to AirPros by a co-worker after having an extremely unpleasant experience with ARS Rooter. Our heat-pump unit was not working properly and ARS made it seem like I was going to pay a hefty repair bill, to possibly have to replace the unit anyways (our unit is only 8 years old).I like to research before making any large purchases, but I’m very illiterate on AC - so I trusted ARS and signed a full replacement contract. Something didn’t sit well, so I decided to have a second opinion. AirPros came pretty quick after calling them (Scooter and Robert) They were puzzled after hearing what ARS reported and after an hour or so, checked the entire system and told me there was nothing wrong with it aside from some unplugged heating elements and loose wiring. All I had to pay was the service feeThey were extremely professional. Had them come and reinstall a nest thermostat. Unit is working like a charm. Definitely recommend them!

I have been using Air-Pro and working with Scooter since 2005! I would not have stayed with them this long if I was not 100% satisfied. They are always quick to respond & take good care of my 2 units. They explain what needs to be repaired & why. This past week, the roofers punctured a hole in the freon line. I called Scooter. He & Scott were here within 1 hour. They knew it was best to get everything fixed while the roofers were still here. Thank you !

Air Pro has been my service provider for about 8 years now. I recently moved and was experiencing A/C problems just after move-in. I called Scooter to diagnose and recommend solutions. He patiently explained what was wrong with the old system and how much I would benefit by replacing with a new unit. The old unit was pulling 20 amps -- the new would pull around 12 amps! Almost half the energy usage! We decided to replace for the long-term benefit. The install was scheduled and work was completed as expected. Crew was efficient, friendly and very knowledgeable in performing the work. I would recommend Scooter, Scott and the team to anyone! They have come to my rescue more than once without worrying about the time or effort needed.

Scooter & Scott have been absolutely awesome to work with over the years! I have been a client for almost 4 years so when our A/C finally quit working, it was an easy choice to use them on our new system installation! I had two coils replaced at my home. I was initially assured that I would be receiving Carrier coils, only to have Bryant coils installed instead. Although Bryant is a subsidiary of Carrier, it was not what I was promised.Following the completion of the work, I was left dealing with a mess in my attic and around my property, as the installation crew did not clean up after themselves properly. While they did rectify some of the mess after I brought it to their attention, it was not something I should have had to manage.Additionally, there was an unfortunate incident where oil was spilled on my lawn, which was subsequently treated with an oil degreaser. This ended up killing the grass in that area. To add insult to injury, the crew used my garden hose to rinse a container containing a white putty-like substance, which left an unsightly white residue on my lawn.While the team initially took precautions by laying down a canvas to protect my floors while bringing in the equipment, this was later removed. Subsequently, Roberto, the lead technician, tracked mud through my home, despite there being a clear instruction to remove shoes at the entrance. It is worth noting that throughout the day, not a single member of the crew wore shoe covers.After lodging my third complaint, Scooter, who promised to personally ensure a great job, agreed to assess the damage done during the installation. Despite his reassurances, he never showed up. In light of the time and cost required for me to rectify the damage to my lawn and clean my hardwood and carpeted floors, I sent Scooter a bill reflecting my designers hourly rate and equipment costs. As of this review, Scooter has declined to pay, arguing that the amount is excessive.It is deeply disappointing to witness the lack of respect the installation crew had for my property and the subsequent damage caused. Scooters professional demeanor over the phone did not translate into the service promised. I was assured of Carrier coils and exceptional service, neither of which was delivered. However, I will say that the crew seemed knowledgeable about their AC work. Time will tell if the quality of their work matches their apparent expertise.

If I could give these guys 10 stars I absolutely would! So many positive things to say about Scooter and Scott. They have ALWAYS delivered top not customer service at a fair price. They are always friendly and genuinely care about each and every customer! Theyve never once tried to tell me something needed to be replaced that didnt need to, and theyve always done the work the same day. They just replaced the entire A/C system in the house and did it cheaper than anyone else around here but didnt sacrifice on the quality of the equipment. So, If youre in need of a TOP NOTCH A/C company give Airpro a call immediately! You will NOT be disappointed at all!!

Called to get a bid/quote on a new entire HVAC system. Weve been remodeling the house and we decided to replace our entire 1992 HVAC system with a new one. We had used Air Pro many, many years in a previous house and had no issues; however, since being at this house, for some reason over the years Barbara has been very rude when weve called. I only put up with this twice and I stopped using them bc of her. For some reason, I figured she had changed over the years and wouldnt be so rude. Boy, was I wrong! In Dec, 2022 I called and left a voice-mail and stated we would like a bid/quote for a new HVAC system. The next day, Scooter called me back and left a voice mail for me to return his call to schedule a time for him to come out. I called back and Barbara answered. (It was now Saturday morning.) She said Scooter was busy and couldnt take my call and asked what I was calling about because she could help me. I told her I was calling to schedule an appointment for Scooter to come out to our house to give a bid/quote because were wanting to replace our 20+ year old Carrier system with a new, energy efficient system. She told me Scooter would have to come out and diagnose the problem, they dont just replace an HVAC system just because a customer says they need a nrw one, so there would be service charge of around $150. (I forget the amount she told us, but I know it wasnt less than $150) I told her there isnt a diagnosis that needs to be done because we want to replace the entire system. She was extremely rude and said Scooter has to diagnose and that was final. She refused to let me talk to Scooter or let him know I called and for him to call me back. The next business day, we called Baker Brothers and they came out to give a bid and by Tuesday we had a new, complete HVAC system installed just like we wanted. They didnt have to diagnose squat bc the diagnosis was we wanted to replace a 20+ year old system!

Scooter is the best! He installes my system the same day he came out to estimate. His crew is extremely polite and super clean. They did an amazing job and continue to. My thermostat had an error on it this morning and I had an email from scooter about it beforeI even had a chance to call him. Top notch equipment, top notch people and top notch service.

We had reliant to come out to install Nest thermostat and they ended up blowing our defrost board in our air conditioner. We called Air Pro who put in our system for a previous owner of our home, and come to be it was Scooter that came out and he was the one who installed it originally !!! He knows his stuff, he was a life saver, he installed the Board, which thank goodness he had one in his truck, put a new filter in and it was up and running in no time. We have a Bryant system and Scooter new right off the bat that our system is not compatible for a Nest thermostat, and thats what blew our defrost board, the re-wiring reliant/Nest did in our system, and now we are trying to fight with Reliant/Nest to pay for this costly mistake, which they should of known that also. I had asked for a booklet of the programming of our thermostat and Scooter said he would drop it of and he sure did. Excellent service, very personable , dont hesitate to use Air Pro and if you want the best ask for Scooter!!!

I did a lot of research and had other quotes for installing new heating and air conditioning equipment in my home. Scooter was the most thorough and went through every detail without missing a step. His plan to improve the temperature in my house has proven to be the best. The install went perfectly. I am one very satisfied customer! My home is now cool and more enjoyable than its ever been! We moved to Irving from the northeast and our very first day here the AC went out in our new house on a 90 degree day. Needless to say we were desperate. We called and they fit us into their schedule quickly for the quote. They did not take advantage of us and over charge due to the urgency of the job. Instead they provided excellent pricing, got the job done the same day, and made us feel great to have picked Irving as a place to live. Watching the entire team work seamlessly and efficiently was a pleasure to witness. Every single person from Air-Pro was not just respectful and kind but really made a bad situation feel okay. After much research and getting estimates from quite a few companies, we finally decided on Air Pro A/C & Heating to install our A/C system. I have to say, they were fantastic from the start. They were the only company to do their homework by really looking at what was needed to solve our problem, not just sell me another version of what I already had. They were great at answering all my questions and making sure that I understood every aspect of the process from setting the appointment for installation to the billing at the end of the project. This was a complete “start over” project that replaced everything from the inside to the outside of our home. They were true to their word and did an amazing job! They arrived on time and completed the job in a very professional manner, including making sure that I understood how the new system worked after the installation was completed. At the end of the project, they cleaned up the areas of work and disposed of the old equipment making it difficult to even tell they were there except for the nice cool air coming from my new A/C! I would recommend them to anyone needing A/C repair or A/C system installation! They are the best, by far!!

First of all, this morning I woke up sweating! So in full panic mode, I checked and changed my filter (might have been a little over due) while calling the company’s number I have SAVED in my phone. I do not play when it comes to this Texas heat. Barbara answered and asked if the outside unit was running. It. Was. Not. She let me know that she would send Scott and Scooter out between 12-3p SAME DAY!!!!! Dealing with different companies in the past, I have always worried about the price and quality. That is not the case with this company. I trust them. I don’t worry about being cheated or unfair prices. So fast forward to tonight: I am wearing cozy pj’s under my sheets plus a really great quality heavy quilt. The tip of my nose is ice cold. All is well with the world again.

Looks like the primary owner Scooter is a nice and knowledgeable person but he may have to hire better technicians because my experience was not so good. Here is why?I give 5 star for the prompt scheduling of the service that I wanted. During the busy summer time, most companies do not give an immediate time but this company did and the technician arrived on time. However, for the service, I would give 1 star.I know a bit about HVAC, so when the technician arrived, I straight away told him to check the Freon level. He checked and found that to be low.I would expect the following from a good technician, especially when I am paying a higher than normal diagnostics fee and close to 3 digit $ figure for a pound of R22 refill.- Good practice is to check if the filters are dirty - Technical did not do- Show the customer how much the Freon cylinder weights before refilling and after being filled. Considering $8X.XX a pound of R22, it makes a lot of difference and builds customer trust.- During refill technician should wait for a minimum 5 minutes for the system to stabilize, after each push of Freon inside the system. In addition, after re-filling is done, the gauges should be monitored for atleast 10 minutes (Manufacturers recommend 20 minutes or more). Technical did not even wait for 2 mins to monitor how the system performs after the refill.- I asked the technician to do a leak check on indoor coils, for which they charge extra and that too above average market price. Technician ripped out the insulation from low side tubes and the seals from coil housing. After checking, he did not seal it back properly and didnt put the insulation back on the pipe. I got to know about it after almost 3 weeks when another contractor came for some other work and noticed that large amount of air is leaking into the attic. I had to spend another $150 to get the leak fixed and put the required insulation back.If I am paying such a high cost for diagnosis and refill, then the standard of work should be at that level. I could have got the same thing done for 1/3 of the cost through a regular HVAC contactor.

Needed a whole new system and didn’t want to wait until it was too hot with summer! Scooter and his team did an outstanding job installing and getting it done as soon as we needed. We would recommend them to anyone!

My a/c went out on a late Saturday afternoon on one off the hottest days in the metroplex so far this year. I called AIR PRO and he said someone would be there in 30 minutes! Roberto came out on time and he was very thorough; explained everything giving the pricing up front which was very reasonable! Within an hour we were up and running! This is the second time Ive used Air Pro and I recommend them without hesitation! Thank you Air Pro!

The team showed up and replaced my entire unit, inside and out in one day. The new unit is absolutely wonderful and is super efficient and zoned unlike our older unit. The AirPro team was completely professional and performed top quality work. Very clean and punctual.Thanks so much.

This guy always seems to be just down the road whenever my AC has gone out. Hes helped me twice now, in the summer, when my home warranty couldnt get someone out in time. Never had to pay more than I felt something was worth. Great customer service. Literally called 20 minutes ago and they are here now.
