Then provided a detailed plan and cost to fix it, and had my truck back to me earlier than they promised. This is the best experience Ive had with any auto repair company. Had our company fleet vehicle repaired and had a great experience. Todd was great at communicating the troubles found, cost associated to fix, and time needed to repair. They were able to answer any questions I had and provide documentation for the warranty as well.

Never take your vehicle to this place. First of all I was over charged but I went with them because they had the fastest turn around time. But here it is 2 years later and Im back at a transmission shop. Transmission shop that my truck is at called me and told me every bolt under my truck is scripted out. Just a little FYI sometimes new transmission from the dealership is cheaper and you probably wont be having issues 2 years later.

Chris, the transmission was never opened from the day it was brought in the second time. On the work order it states that the Clutches were changed but after a Chevrolet diagnostics it seems that nothing was ever done to open the transmission or even conclude that the problem should of been fixed the first time. Glad that the BBB has started legal action against this business. To future customers I will highly recommend you stay away from this business for their dishonest practices and policies they dont hold true.

I had the worst experience of having 2 of my work vans transmissions go out within 3 hours apart, but the great staff over at Eagle Transmissions got me back up and running expeditiously. Thank you to thw staff there and Todd for answering my questions and keeping me informed.

I brought my 2020 Ford Mustang to this transmission shop and was thoroughly impressed with their service. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and addressed all my concerns. Since I step into the place, my instict told me RUN AWAY! the guy at the front desk was such a jerk, he told me that I had it to wait 3 hours for them to inspect the Transmision, and I told him I was there with my 4 year old daughter if he could just put the machine to get the codes out and figure it out what was wrong like other shops that I went to did, and he stated with a long face I guess ok I can do that ...but after waiting 30 min in the waiting room, I had it to go to the gas station walking to get my daughter some water and snacks, when I came back, he told me they run the machine and test drive the car and he gave me the page with the codes, he stated that it will be aprox $2095 .00 to rebuild the transmission but he said that once they open the transmission it could take more money to get some other parts for the transmission .... o.k so I told him so you are saying you will charge me all that money just to open up the whatever it has to be open , and then it will be more for the parts, I said no thank you, he stated with a laughing face I will not recomend to drive your car anymore, you have to get the job done now here, I was already leaving and when I was taking my car out of the shop and turning at the right just to leave the place my car got stuck and I had it to turn on and off the power to get it going and it was doing horrible noises that before was not doing , def when they drove it and tested they messed it up even more the transmision they might have forced it or something. Just to let you know I will not have the transmision done in your shop, you guys are nasty just because Im a woman, you guys think I dont know what you dummies did.I will pay my hard work money to a real and honest transmission shop repair.Im posting these pics as evidence that I did went to your location.

I have had my Ford F150 worked on several times at this shop for various issues. Each time the customer service and communication has been excellent and they have turned my vehicle around very quickly. I highly recommend!!!!!

Took my truck at the beginning of 2021. I took it back twice and the 1 year warranty covered it. The only ptoblem I had was the time they took to fix it. Both times they took about a month to give me back my truck. But other than that I think price was reasonable and the guy infront answered my questions. Truck is driving good so far.

I had a great experience with Eagle transmission. Sergio was very professional, quoted me the exact cost and didnt try to get over with a bunch of unneeded repairs. Vehicle was finished ahead of promised time with no new scratches or dents. I normally do all of my own work but will now trust this location to take on some of the work that I dont have time to do. The work that was done on my vehicle seems to have been done with the same amount of quality as if I wouldve done it. Also, not to forget, their customer lobby area is clean. I highly recommend Eagle for your repairs.

I recently took my vehicle to Eagle Transmission to have multiple repairs done on my transmission and engine. I felt as if they were very upfront and honest on their pricing and the repair work that my vehicle needed. The staff was great and very professional. I received calls giving me status updates on my vehicle as well which is not like most shops I have been to in the past. I highly recommend Eagle Transmission and Auto Repair!

A good repair shop is hard to come by these days. Honesty, integrity and transparency are not common traits, but Eagle Transmission displayed all of these and has earned my trust as well as my future business. Sergio the shop foreman was very friendly and professional, he made sure that all of my questions were answered and took the time to handle any concerns that I had about my vehicle. Most other places just want your money but I could tell that this was not the case when I spoke with him.

I was so disappointed with the service. The repair was initially only supposed to last 1-2 weeks, but turned into a 5 week job. The Repair cost $4000 which constitutes a major repair that is advertised qualified free towing, which I was denied because of distance that isnt stated on the phone advertisement recording . There was damage to my steering wheel cover , which the owner refused to pay for or acknowledge. This same owner isnt at his shop enough to know whats going on.Seemingly, he leaves the real work for the hired help.This is probably why I have a large oil stain on the carpet of my second row, after a part was left in my truck without his knowledge. As you can read , my experience with this place was HORRIBLE at best.

I cant thank Chris at Eagle Transmission in Irving enough for the work done the last two times I had work done there. A year ago I had my transmission rebuilt in a 2011 Chevy truck. The service, pricing, quality of work, and experience was very professional. I had to get a update on my computer program last week and brought it back to Chris for the work. He did the update in a day and called to let me know everything that was done. Thank you for the great service you provide. I look forward to doing more business with you in the future.

I have a 1985 maxima , I brought it in after being denied multiple times by different shops because of the age. Well fortunately for me they accepted my vehicle and were able to bring it back to previous condition. I would highly recommend this company.

I have used Eagle Transmission in Irving for over six years and had them work on multiple vehicles. Usually they service the transmission for routine maintenance but I also had them do major engine work and replace the lifters on my GMC Yukon in February 2021.Before I had them do the work I got quotes from several places and Eagles price was very competitive. They did a great job and the vehicle was ready when promised and for the exact amount they quoted before the work was done.Earlier this month (August 2021) I noticed a transmission leak in our BMW. Eagle found two leaks and gave me a quote for parts and labor which was very reasonable. They repaired the two leaks and serviced the transmission for the amount quoted and had the car ready when promised. After the repairs the car is running well and there are no more leaks.Chris, Alex and team have always been very professional and a pleasure to work with.

Had the unfortunate experience of having my car stop shifting into gear coming home from an exhausting days work. I was referred to Eagle transmission. It was Saturday evening and they offered their assistance to get it towed to their shop. Sergio was certain they would get it there and have it looked at the upcoming Monday since their close on Sunday. Monday, Chris took over communications and put me at ease with his honest disposition and knowledge about my cars repairs. I’m very happy with the outcome. Affordable and time efficient work. I’ll definitely go back and refer their services.

Run Run Run I used them because I really didnt search thats my fault, The first time they claimed to fix it, the transmission started having problems right after the warranty, took it back had to pay agin to have it fixed, the second time was still covered under there warranty, but once they fixed they wouldnt give me another warranty and I havent been driving my truck that much at all get in my truck today same issues. My guess is theyre using used parts and charging for new ones. I wouldnt recommend this place to my enemy. Now im stuck with no running vehicle.When I picked up my vehicle the gentleman at the desk told me This repair didnt have a warranty.

From the first call - 5 in total before I dropped off my truck, Todd Smith, Mgr was very patient and thorough in his explanations. All work was performed as expected, ie NO surprises. Im 68 and probably on of, if not the best auto service experiences of my life. I highly recommend.

This place is top notch! I desperately needed my transmission lines replaced and Chris was able to get me in and out at a great price. Quality work, great pricing, and fast service was everything I was looking for in a shop to do the repairs. Eagle transmission was able to meet all these needs. I highly recommend this shop for all your mechanical repairs.

The One NOT to TrustAll shops with this name are independent owners (franchise). The bad news is, the warranty from one shop is not valid at another. I went for a test and estimate. The owner gave me the lowest price from 3 other shops - $800. After disassembling it, the price jumped to $1400. After rebuilding it, the transmission failed 3 times in one month. I had to pay every time for a rental car, and every time I have to drive my car at my own risk or to pay for tow trucks. Chris has no license to impose taxes (lump sum contractor) but he did. I talked to a comptroller and was advised to sue him. Who is going to sue someone for $150? Everyone knows that, and so does he. The fluid level is over the maximum; Bolts are missing from the transmission; there was a vibration noise for 2 years - the rear mounting bracket had 1 out of 3 bolts; The pan bolts were tightened by hand; The magnet inside was missing.

Price, service, communication and turn around on my vehicle was excellent. I had a complete drivetrain rebuilt and they nailed it! The shop is loaded with experienced techs and the owner took the time to explain exactly what to expect from the time of the quote until it was completed. Wouldnt go anywhere else.

Chris and the entire staff have been taking care of our cars for years now. They always do an outstanding job and we get the best service. We’ve had 2 transmissions done ( dodge and Volkswagen) and an AC replaced in a Lexus. We never go anywhere else as they pretty much take care of all our needs. You guys rock! Thanks Eagle 🦅!!!

If you want to get ripped off this is the place! They do a good job but charge more to rebuild a transmission than the dealer charges for a brand new one. Said it would be 4 days, took twice that! Highly recommend you take your own Vaseline with you because they will ____ you.On a positive note from my experience there...wait, there isnt a positive side. These guys are great!!! Fixed my truck in 3 days from the time I called them. Unbelievable in my opinion. Received a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty. It was way cheaper than I imagined as well!! I highly recommend!!

I had a very good experience when my car was having transmission trouble. They took their time investigating the problem and thank goodness it was a very quick and inexpensive repair. They identified a couple of other potential problems that needed my attention as well. I would highly recommend!

Did a great job on my transmission

I had my wifes Acura TL transmission rebuilt by Chris and his team many years ago and it is still performing great, so when I recently needed to have my 2000 Suburban transmission rebuilt I did not hesitate to have them do the work. My experience with them has been really great.

Got quoted $1900 to continue to run tests and was told couldnt tell me exactly what was wrong until they were done which would cost me more and more money. A lot of codes mentioned and work needed and was told they would not do my request of replacing the transmission fluid/filter and solenoid, as report from Autozone showed. Additionally, pretty much said I was insane for picking up my vehicle and not letting them continue on. Welp, took the vehicle elsewhere who ran the codes and immediately checked the fluid which was practically EMPTY - something that Eagles report failed to mention or make me aware of at any time. The issue was resolved with filter and fluid change, along with trans ac condenser as their was a leak, that also failed to be on the report or mentioned so I presume that would have been added to the costs later. Costs a fraction of testing quotes and vehicle is running brand new.

Eagle Transmission was the absolute best in working with me. They were fast...sufficient and very professional. I had to get a new transmission and they walked me through the entire process and got me most reasonbly priced services for my car and budget. I am happy that my choice was Eagle Transmission and would refer any single mother, wife with a spouse not local or anyone in general to use their services. One star only because no stars is not an option. Took my first car to them decades ago for manual transmission work. It never worked right. Chalked it up to age of the car. But never felt right about it. Took my wifes truck in less than four years ago for a transmission rebuild. Ive seen people mention professionalism? The guy behind the counter made us wait a while on what definitely should have been a private call. Then acted like he didnt want to be there, and wanted us out of the office as soon as possible. Kinda got a bad vibe while in their thinking I was being over charged. Bubba the shade tree has as much professionalism.Got it back with a 12 month warranty. The truck transmission and experience still didnt feel right. Our concerns were ignored, rebuilt transmission song and dance. He just wanted our money and wanted us to go away.Today, no reverse and no first gear - same exact problem we initially had.Never going back! Not recommended!Youre better off selling your vehicle to the $500 We Buy Used Cars People than taking it in to Eagle Transmissions in Irving TX.

My wife has a 2014 Cadillac SRX and I thought the transmission was going out. It was making a horrible noise when we were going 55 mph. I called Chris and he asked me to drop it off and they would check it for me. After an hour or so he called me back to let me know that it was just my passenger side wheel bearing making the noise. Cost was very reasonable but the fact they didn’t try and sell me something I didn’t need was a huge relief. I will trust them for all of my families repairs. It’s hard to find someone that is as trustworthy as they were. Kudos to him and his staff.

I took my 95 S10 pickup to them after I could no longer put the truck into reverse. I got the answering machine when I called them on the 4th of July weekend to see if someone would be available. In just a little while, Chris called me back and was really pleasant to work with even though he was technically off for the holiday. At every step of the process of getting my transmission rebuilt, these guys proved their willingness to go above and beyond with honest, friendly service.The truck now runs like new and maybe I can squeeze another 180,000 miles out of it! If your looking for an honest shop, I cant recommend these guys enough.

The customer service and communication on what was going on with my vehicle was amazing. I took my 96 Ford F-150 a while back to fix my transmission but I was not satisfied with the job, I payed 2,000 out of pocket and I took it back to make sure if they can fix it but they said it wasn’t the transmission it was something with the motor and so I took it back to my mechanic and he says it ain’t the motor it’s the transmission so the only thing that has been touched was the transmission. If you have an old school vehicle don’t take it to eagles transmission since I was not satisfied with the job that I paid 2,000 for.

I was referred to this place by my mechanic. I thought I was going to have major transmission issues. I left my car for them to inspect and got a call a few hours later. They didnt find anything wrong with my transmission. The best part was that they didnt even charge me to tell me what was actually wrong with my car. I even tried to tip them and they wouldnt accept it. You dont find many places list this anymore.

Ive used Eagle several times over the past few years. They can do a lot more than transmission! Ive always been very pleased! They were recommended to me by a friend and now I recommend them to my friends.

I had an amazing time with Eagle transmission. After taking my car in for transmission work, I had a problem with some wiring. I took my Hyundai Sonata back and they repaired it for free over Thanksgiving. It was wonderful service and I cannot begin to thank them!

Thank u for all the 1 star rating & reviews. I was going to take my car here but they were closed on memorial day. Also called just to get hours & was a busy tone each time. Then I came to check online.... 3 strikes yall are OUT.. these 1 🌟 reviews are getting so many likes its a shame compared to the fake 5 Stars it seems to be... You get what you pay for okay, maybe you do... maybe you dont, but I always think about the warranty and how many ways they can find that something not covered is the problem. I had to use my warranty at Eagle for a transmission rebuild and it was truly like a breath of fresh air. They simply took care of the problem without a hassel and without any hidden charges. Thats the way it should be. I felt their priority was to make it right and thats what they did. I would recommend them to anyone.

I was recommended to come here for transmission fluid change by A guy Kwik Kar because my car’s mileage is so long. After maintenance they have done, my car runs best since I got. I’m not used to bring the car to car shop as I’m a foreigner but they kindly had my car fixed. I really appreciate it.

They were very courteous and communicated clearly about costs and time my car would be in the shop.

My problem is that I take my truck to Eagle transmission. Over more than a month ago and I have still have not been delivered up to today and I have already paid them. And whenever I go to see they tell me that tomorrow in 2 more days theyll be done. And they will tell me pure lies that hurt the establishment and that I I considered it more serious and so I did not even want to return again Im sorry I did not want to say anything but they do not leave me another option and God bless them in the same way they bless me ...

I should have read the reviews before I took my car to them. I was estimated at $1,800.00. Now to fix it they want $4,200. I’m on a fixed income and was just scammed at least I think so. Please shop around

My car broke down (Battery Terminal) and i had no idea what was the main issue. They just charged me for the main issue (even though since my car was in their Garage after towing they could have come up with anything) but they just charged me $35 for Battery Terminal including Labour (Towing charges were separate)

The new management at Eagle Transmission helped repair my grandfathers transmission and is working with him to provide evidence for a lawsuit against the company that sold him the transmission. Anyone trying to deal with powertrain direct do not do it as theyre currently giving out faulty transmissions.

Worst place ever. The owner is a friend of my brother who recommended us this place. Customer service was really bad. They quote you a price for one thing next thing you know they want to requote you another price if you dont get the service done with them. Worse nightmare ever not even the manager wanted to work something out with us knowing it was his employees fault for not explaining to us how the process works.

Heard a lot of bad things about them, but you cant trust that they were kinda high but my trans had 169k on it was tired needed a refresh also reverse was slow to go into gear I took it back for the 15 day check up all good my shift kit was still intact I cant complain about anything so to the others maybe your the problem just a thought

Fixed the transmission but left parts of my exhaust systems not attached properly... had to pay another shop to fix the problem... also transmission light came on within a month of having the transmission replaced.

Worst experience ever. NOT recommended. They want to charge me $80 for using my credit card. I personally called to if I could pay with my card and they never mentioned anything about a fee for using credit card. 👎🏼

They are scammers. First they give you a price, then they try to charge three times more and since you refuse to pay, you are forced to leave the vehicle to them. Of course, they still keep the first amount that was paid. They are abusive.
