Christian and the crew were great in helping me out when I needed to get a replacement transmission. It wasnt a cheap job because of the type of import car but the service was way better than going to the horrible Dallas official dealer. The guys were very clear up front about what needed doing and what the costs were going to be. They kept me informed all the way through the process and I really appreciated that. I would definitely recommend them.

Had a very bad experience. Took my vehicle since it had a code for speed sensor. They said both cv axles need changed along with the sensor and gave a quote to fix everything. I paid that amount in full and was told to pick the car in couple of hours. I asked them this is the out of the door price for everything and they said yes. Got a call from the lady at the front desk saying they need to charge more for the labor ? I told her why you are charging me extra while I asked you that is the full price and you said yes. She said, it was her fault and need to charge extra..long story short after some negotiation, I paid extra and got the car. Drove the car out of the shop and was hearing some rattling noise from the exhaust which was not there when I left the car with them. When asked about it, they said its not their fault and I told the noise wasnt there when I left the car for repair. The person who checked the car when I dropped the car for repair agreed that there was no noise then but said he cant do anything that the noise came after the repair. The lady at the front desk said it is common that you fix something and some new problem comes ..seriously? They didnt do anything about it and i have to drive away with the noise and now need to take to muffler shop..definitely not good business practicesUpdate: I took to the muffler shop and they diagnosed and confirmed the noise is coming from the transmission not from the exhaust and have them call these guys and tell that which the person at the muffler shop did. So, these guys asked to drop the car to check and said will let me know. I have dropped the car at them again I will come back and update what happensUpdate 2: Got a call from them saying all they did was the flush and so not sure about the noise from the transmission and i reminded them what else they did (sensors, cv axle etc.,). Then they said will look into it. Then got a call saying my starter is rubbing with flywheel making the noise and would need a new starter. I stopped by them and one of the guy tested with new starter and it still made the noise. So he said they need to space out (not sure what that means) and will call me once done. Got a call and was told the car is ready. I went and drove back home and not hearing that noise. I updated my rating to 3 stars because of the fact they didnt want to accept the noise came after they did the service and how they changed the price from the original agreed upon price

My starter went out on F150 sitting at the gas pump at the QT on belt line. I was hauling a bmw 750 that did not run. Called that shop after calling several others that couldn’t help. They came to me in 5 minutes and hooked me up to a Chevy suburban and pulled me and the bmw back to the shop and had my starter delivered and installed within an hour. I’m forever grateful for the staff at the Irving belt line location!

My family and I would like to thank Tommy, Ruth, and Transmissions AAMCO Total Car Care for taking care of all of the recent repairs. I became a regular client after I observed oil leaks and overheating. The first shop I was at that I had been going to for about five years acted as if the oil leaks were no big deal and wanted to fix something else. That didn’t seem right. The second shop told me that it would cost $6500.00 to fix excessive leaks for a 2007 Acura RDX, or they said, “Get another car”. Now, my car paid off and I would like to keep it for a couple of more years. So, I took it someplace else, and that shop and that guy just was lying, saying that he was going to fix the leaks and for a good price. For six weeks I left my car with him week after week and he would never look at it. He never would get the parts. I finally got fed up with them and called Ruth at AAMCO. They located the leaks and had other recommendations, but it was all the stuff that I needed to do. They also said to keep an eye on it to see if it was still leaking oil. I did see another small leak and took it back to Tommy and Ruth at AAMCO. This time I found out that you can get a payment plan. I was approved and got the other work done to fix the other leak. Now it is two months later. No leaks and that account is Paid in full. If you pay it off within 90 days, it’s zero percent interest. But you don’t have to do it that way, you can pay a little each time you get paid until the account is Paid in full. It is easy and fast. Thank you, Tommy and Ruth, they are good people and you can talk to them anytime you have questions. That was another thing that was very important to me. Answering my question about my car. He is never too busy to explain it to you. About what is going on with your car. Tommy and Ruth are great, professional, and knowledgeable and care about their clients. I recommend everyone to go there, because, Tommy is top of the lines, service technicians will do a great job, and they can get the best parts for the lowest price.

Bad Service Bad ManagementThere Reputation is Dishonesty to all of there CustomersThe Customers Expectations is to have a Rebuilt transmission and they do not expect for their estimate to be doubled. My experience with this Company was truly one of the worst experiences of my life. I have lost profit due to renting trucks because this company lied to me. What’s even worse I have to payback on a loan that was taking out to pay this company!!!!!!!!!!!I’m responding to the Statement from lying Management!! 1st of all the Estimate was $1800 but on the receipt it states $1800 was for Labor. The remaining $2000 was for parts!! The Service was to Rebuild my Transmission. There wasn’t a statement as to what Management suggested for my truck from the start.n a week latter my truck has been fixed by another Transmission Shop!! Mr. Manager this is a Business if you weren’t able to fix the Truck I understand but you took advantage of me and charged $4100!!Yes I did tk yr Company to court and I lost unfortunately but I believe I won!!! The judge ruled that I should have taken the truck back because of the warranty. But why would I have taken my truck back to these Crooks when they never fixed it!!I’m A Christian Man it’s not of my Character to criticize but this Location deserves it because this Business is dishonestN they only care about a Profit and disregard the Customer.This Company gets 5 Thumbs DownDFW Worst Transmission Shop

Tommys the worst ever, just wanted my transmission fluid refilled and this is what he gave me back, had to sell my truck to the junk yard after this and they want me to pay $1300 lol yeah right

Not a review person but Ruth definitely deserves it! best service ever. She was really really helpful throughout the whole process with my vehicle i’m really content with the treatment she gave me, i’d definitely recommend this place make sure to ask for RUTH!

I traveled into Texas from out of town for a family vacation and had a sever coolant leak that had previously been repaired multiple times back home in Arkansas. I went in around 10 am and they had my car repaired and back to me by 6pm fixed and ready to go! The whole team was amazing and explained everything in depth. They even went out of their way to give me a ride back to my room! I would recommend this shop to anyone! Great service and amazing honest people! I’m very thankful!

Some staff members were nice. But Tommy & crew 100% miss-diagnosed my car & still charge me for it. I recommend people go elsewhere to get work done on your car because Aamco on Belt Line is not trustworthy. You need someone who knows what they are doing.

So often we encounter bad experiences and are quick to broadcast everything that went wrong. Well this is the opposite! I received amazing customer service. Everyone was very professional, provided great customer service, and were quick in getting repairs done. They were honest about the repairs needed, were able to identify the problem and get the necessary parts. Pricing was affordable. I will be back if my vehicle ever needs any work done. Thanks for fixing my gas leak.

The absolute only reason I would give them a 2 star is because they allowed my car to be at their location. Honestly I believe they should have e paid me because I feel my presence led to much undeserved business for this location.

This place let me go close to Christmas a few years ago, it was probably the lowest time of my life but I quickly bounced back and started to make 6 figures again like I did before working here thankfully. I came back because I was thinking about how life was this time of year a few years back and wanted to see how business was but I see a lot of bad reviews so it just tells me they don’t know how the keep talent around and have a lot of unhappy customers. I’m thankful they let me go, I needed to snap back into reality and start making real money again but I’ll never forget that feeling of feeling like my livelihood didn’t matter so close to Christmas.

Scam.I was assured of no cost inspection of 4x4 transfer case related inspection for repair and cost of inspection would be deducted from repair cost. However, Repair was deemed as something AAMCO did not do, but demanded payment of $340 for inspection. AAMCO would not return keys without payment. Service of Repair by AAMCO was refused, but payment was demanded. That money was needed to have the transfer case repaired. I have canceled the credit card payment via Chase Bank today.

Terrible place to go to, i would give this place no stars but i am unable to. We brought my boyfriend truck, 98 Chevrolet Silveradoin for diagnostic as we were having some problems with the transmission. We got a call that the battery was dead, so we came with a replacement and they sent us home saying that was the problem. Only for the problem to continue on the way home... and we were told to bring it in the next day where they told us they would not look at the truck because we used the wrong gas. Overall, it was excuse after excuse and they refused to even test drive the truck. So we took it to another AAMCO in Dallas, where they called us and did inform us that the transmission does in fact need a full-rebuild as the fourth gear and lock-up was messed up. The lack of communication, information, and professionalism is outrageous. Save your money and time and go elsewhere.

I took my truck and they charged me $450 for just listen to the noise and filled the differential with the wrong oil, and they took two days just for that, and they said that they opened my differential and transfer case but they did NOT, and that the problem was the transfer case and they would charge me $1300 plus part’s , luckily me I got a second option of a GOOD mechanic and I found out it was only the front driveshaft, so I lost $450 just to find out it cost me $400 total! (Yeah, for the installation and the new drive shaft) Oh and by the way they wanted to buy my truck because they said it was not worth it 😂

I drove from Los Angeles, CA headed to my hometown of Indianapolis, IN when “Big Baby” (my 1989 g20 Chevy van) started having issues. I had only been in Texas for a day when the van started to have problems accelerating. I came early in the morning as a walk in and they were able to test drive it, diagnose the problem, and give me a quote in such a reasonable time. They had my van fixed and ready for pick up the next morning. I requested to test drive it with a technician before paying and they had no problem accommodating. Having had issues with other repair shops, Matthew the Lead Technician really made me feel at ease and reassured me that the van was in good hands. We completed the test drive and sure enough she ran better than before! I really want to thank the guys at this shop! They did an amazing job and were extremely professional.

Ruth did great. But Tommy has touched my transmission twice and its still not working $3800 to rebuild in less then a week had to take it back because it fail while driving I have the video. Then took it back again and its still not fixed. Please DONT GO LET TOMMY PLAY WITH YOUR VEHICLE. THATS ALL HES DOING IS TAKING PEOPLE MONEY AND NOT FIXING THE PROBLEMS. 2 MONTHS LATER AND THE PICTURE BELOW SHOWS TRANSMISSION FLUID IN MY RADIATOR. You have been Warned. He is very hostile and rude to Women. No Stars at all for this place

Their head guy Sage is phenomenal. He walked me through the entire process and made me feel more than welcome. His customer service is through the roof and Id recommend anyone to them. They are really a 5 star auto shop.

Tommy is a complete FRAUD!!! DO NOT USE this location for your repairs unless you want to be cheated and lied too!!! Tommy is a complete liar and unethical in his businesses practices!!! He is the classic of horror stories you hear about when it comes to car repairs!!! BUYER BEWARE!!! Zero stars!!!I’ve since learned it’s not accredited by the BBB and has a “D” rating!!!Not only would he not discuss with me, but he decided to hang up on me before the conversation even really began!! A total crook!I will be Reporting also to the BBB!!Total scam artists disguised as a reputable company!

Had my oil and spark plugs changed as well as my inspection done at this location. I mentioned that my steering wheel was shaking and Matt (the tech that worked on my car) diagnosed the problem, I needed new tires and a wheel and he pointed me in the right direction. They are honest and respectful. Would highly recommend this shop!!

This has been the first time I left a shop without feeling that I been hustled. They explained the process and set me at ease from the beginning.Let me add that I normally do my own mechanic work, but dont have tools to do clutch / transmission work. I searched local shops and decided to go with with AAMCO. I have no regrets and I highly recommend them.

Best place for repairs. Honors the AAmco warranty with no problem. Called them up told them i got an AAmco transmission i think somethings wrong, i had to get it out of state. Told them all the local AAmco near me on camp bowie, hulen, and keller ignored me. They said no problem, bring it in and we will get started on it asap. They took my truck, explained everything to me. How its going to work, how long it will take. They had my truck done in 3 days, one of the best and freindly locations. Highly recommend this location. Worth the hour drive

When I talked to an employee at the location a week ago, I was told a certain price for my transmission repair. As soon as I got my vehicle loaded to get delivered to the location, I’m told the price was going to be way higher than what I was first told. When I told the manager that I’m going to go with another company, he rudely hung up in my face. Now I have wasted time and money on discrepancies on the company’s part. I would avoid this location by all means because they don’t keep their word.

I really appreciate the great team at AAMCO Irving. I came in with a Check Engine Light and was super concerned. The team thoroughly checked every system of my Yukon and found it wasnt anything serious. They had me fixed up and out the door same day. Ill be back in the future.

This place is the worst anyone can go to…y’all ain’t a dealership!!!! I ended up calling the actual dealership and got charged like half the price this guys are charging .. DO NOT GO HERE!!!went in for a free diagnostic test and as soon as they started on it he calls me and gives me a different total for $1700 and then if I wanted him to finish the car the total would be $8k …SCAMMERS

I was having what I thought was a transmission problem with my car so I took it to them to get it looked at, they ran diagnostics and drove it a couple times, then they were able to pin point the problem which turned out to be just a blown fuse, they fixed it for FREE!! I totally recommend this place if you’re having any sort of trouble with your car.

This place tried to rip me off. I am so sick and tired of these places trying to do this because Im a woman. My engine light came on and I took my car to this place to see what was the issue. They tried to tell me it was my transmission. It was not it was my catalytic converter. Do not go to this place
