I called in for immediate help as we have one a/c and it stopped running. The customer service agent was amazing. She answered all my questions and scheduled me for the same day. The technician had the issue resolved in a timely manner and offered me a 15% discount, if I joined the twice a year maintenance. Seems that a good coil clean and new filter was not in good shape. EDIT-Tempo seems to need to keep better records, my house was constructed in 2015 and move in ready in January 2016. While a repair might have needed done in 2016... one might think that admitting a repair was needed in 2016 publicly could speak to their quality of work if the house was constructed the year prior in 2015.Regardless, the repairs have been done at least 2x since I moved in, the most recent was since Covid. Seeing as they designed, and installed the system it should not be complex rocket science for them to do a quote of fixing their own work.ORIGINAL-Would give 0 stars if I could. Simple connection between air handler and metal duct (mastic and tape work) has failed 2x since install. Called in to try and speak with someone in their office and they could care less, they remain insistent that they need to charge a service call fee just to show up for the same work a third time, refuse to give a flat quote for work they’ve already had to do before or even a quote.

Update to reply the General manager: HAving only 30 days warranty and expect us to pay 340$ every 2 months for a sink clog is unacceptable at all. Good luck with your business retaining customers.I was a Tempo Air member for nearly two years, paying a monthly fee for regular AC and plumbing tune-ups, as well as service calls when needed. In late July 2024, I had them unclog a sink, which cost about $330. However, less than two months later, the same sink clogged again. When they came out, they wanted to charge me for the service again, stating that their warranty for the same issue only lasts 30 days.I expected better customer service from a company like Tempo Air, especially for long-term members. Having the same problem recur in such a short time period should be handled with more care. As a result, I canceled my membership and switched to a company that offers better customer support and warranties their work for recurring issues within a reasonable timeframe.Be cautious if youre considering signing up with them—since their service is only warrantied for 30 days, I cant recommend Tempo Air to family or friends.

I am an active customer with their Maintenance plans while writing this review, and I would not recommend TempoAir at all. Their customer service is worst. The agents have no customer facing skills at all. They need lot of training. Talked to someone named Leslie who did not even let me talk and explain the request fully. She disconnected the call on me. Surprised to see how they run business with poor customer service agents like this. And I am paying few hundreds of dollars every year for their plans.

I am sorry I didnt take before and after pics. My system was 20 plus years old, and it was just time to retire it. I am surprised that I can already tell a difference in performance with the new sysem. The techs were informative and efficient. They tolerated my jokes! I would give it 0 stars if possible. I rarely leave negative reviews like this, but I have no choice. My new construction house only one and a half years old has an air conditioning system was not designed or built properly. I have a sever lack of airflow issue which in return cause rooms to be hot. I have called repeatedly multiple times and not getting this resolved so I am forced to leave a bad review. For a large home, only a 2 ton unit was designed which is only good for 1,000-1200 square feet when my square feet is way higher. Even Tempo technician realized all air vents are lacking flow. A HUGE CRITICAL ISSUE. It should have been at least 3-4 ton unit, and TEMPO FAIL to fix it. They keep delaying it and its been more than a month now and no fix. I am forced to leave this review. If I could go back, I would NOT choose nor recommend Tempo. Look elsewhere.

New construction home, they installed the AC. 80F+ in Summer. They came out 3 times to attempt to fix it but couldn’t. Every single time they were hours late and one time had to cancel. Hugo the lead is not very good. Nester was very nice and informative. The 3rd guy was an incompetent jerk.Avoid using this company.

Jay with Tempo plumbing was a much needed help late in the day. We were expecting company over the next day and our house had a clog in the sewer. Jay did a thorough inspection of our situation and found the clog with his camera for no extra charge. He showed us the video and explained his plan of action and informed us his next steps and a plan b. Thankfully he was able to clear our sewer clog on the first try like a true professional. He ran water from every faucet for 20 minutes and was going toilet to toilet and flushing to make sure our drain was clear. And not backing up like before. He then ran his camera one more time to confirm we were all clear and showed us the video, which gave us a piece of mind. He educated us on how our drain system worked and which sinks are more susceptible to clogs due to a/c drains connected to the plumbing. He had products to help out with it, which gave us a piece of mind. I wanted to say thank you to Jay and the Tempo plumbing staff for helping us in a tough situation, especially on short notice.

I would not recommend Tempo Air. We chose to use them because they did the HVAC installation in our newly built house 7 years ago and we assumed it would be best to use the same people who did the original work (lesson learned). After 6 years in the house, we have had to call them more than 12 times either because the air or heat would not work and it was usually an emergent need in Texas so we went with a company we were familiar with. Some of the major replacements included AC Condensing Unit ($6k) and evaporator coil ($3k). The AC evaporator coil is what needed replacement, but I was told the part is hard to find so the whole unit needed to be replaced (this is not true and lesson learned). My AC unit should have been registered by Tempo for a 10-year warranty when the house was built and Tempo installed the unit (if you don’t register the unit you get 5 years and then SOL). At the time they replaced my entire unit, I was at 5 years and 1 week. That means I got no warranty and I had to pay for an entire new unit. FYI - AC Units are supposed to last 10-15 years if installed properly; we had 2 of ours replaced within 6 years.We also called Tempo to our house at least 3 times (if not more) since the year we moved in because one of the bedrooms upstairs was always hotter than the rest of the house and there was very little airflow. We mentioned this problem every time there was a tech over at the house and even when they came by to do “preventive” checkups. They were never able to figure it out and said everything was fine and its just the Texas heat. Well guess what? It wasn’t the Texas heat! We recently found a local, smaller company (Texas Air & Heat) to come do a thorough check of all the units in the house in preparation for the summer. They found out why that one bedroom is hotter than the rest of the house (and we didn’t even tell them about it); the air ducts in the attic that connect to the room were not connected (see pic). We can feel the difference in the room and it is much colder. Tempo had 7 years to figure that one out.We were a “club member” for a short while, but don’t fall for that scam either. You get a small discount on services (doesn’t make up for what the membership costs you) and they come out twice a year to do “preventive” checks. However, every time they came out for preventive checks, they found something that was broken and “had to be fixed”. Tempo will upcharge you for everything and will also suggest that you fix things that are not even broken (learned learned). If you are looking for an honest company, that charges a reasonable price, Tempo is NOT the one (find a smaller company). I can’t believe home builders still use this company. This was an expensive (~$12k) lesson learned for us, but I am now an expert on all things HVAC (maybe I should go into the business 😊). Hope this review helps others from making the same mistakes we did.

Stay away from this company. I elected to sign up for the tempo club maintenance program after moving into my newly built home. Tempo Air were the installers of our HVAC system. I paid $30.00 per month for the last four years. For this amount I received two annual maintenance service visits. I assumed that this company stood behind their word and preformed the services as agreed upon. It wasn’t until recently when I discovered that the tech did not preform one of the functions that caused a larger issue. When I addressed the lack of service I received to tempo I was given a bunch of excuses. Additionally over the last week my system failed and it has been a horrible experience dealing with this company. They nickel and dime you for everything. The complete lack of professionalism was astounding. Tempo loved collecting the $30.00 per month but when it came time for them to preform they failed. If I could give zero stars I would. Again….stay away from them. Not only for the lack of professionalism also for the fact that they charge an exponent amount for their services. I’m sure a rep from the company will respond with their excuses….abd that is all they will be excuses!!!

Just had to schedule our 5th service call of the summer with this company. It’s unfortunate that the warranty agreement on our new home forces us to keep working with them. They’ve just never been able to help us keep our home cool, and I have no faith that they will be able to do any better moving forward, plain and simple. We’re just holding out until we can come out of pocket to work with a different company with some level of competence.

I’ve gone without air multiple days with the weather being 100+ degrees outside. They said they would send somebody and still nothing. This is the worst company to use especially if you’re renting. Would not recommend to anyone in Texas especially not when we have excessive heat warnings. I’ve had my air on 70 for the last few days and I’ve been at home SWEATING and sick. This is disgusting customer support and work.EDIT: their reply to my review was as useful as the technician i had come in yesterday. 3 days no air and told now to wait until Monday. Technician never explained why and his attitude was HORRIBLE. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Do not recommend. DO NOT INSTALL ANYTHING WITH THEM! Got an air tech from another company to check my air but turns out my ac was installed by tempo air, so I thought it would be best to do business with them since they also can help check the warranty and had good reviews. Called tempo air and they were very friendly at the moment, said If I had the diagnostic fee invoice from the prior company that came to my house they would send a tech out and honor me a free opinion. Air technician they sent out was extremely rude, didn’t even finish listening to what we were explaining before saying “just so you know you don’t have warranty”. We bought a new built house but since someone had originally bought the house it hasn’t even been the 10 years we couldn’t even get the parts warranty because we are the second home owners. Soooo the parts don’t have a 10 year warranty the first owner has the 10 year warranty of the parts of an a/c system she does not own. Crazy huh? Or so that is what the third person explained that the warranties are “non transferable”, so prior owner still has the warranty? Or that warranty no longer exists at least for parts? Weird. Before stating information make sure it is the correct information. Then the technician checks and confirms prior diagnostic he tries to charge us $130 and was very demanding and rude about it. My husband let him know I had been told it was free of charge. After me saying I was going to call the company he started being nicer. After this company giving me different information over the phone on 3 separate ocassions and no call to at least tell me how much they would charge or try to give me a price I am writing this review. Regardless of whatever policies on warranties they or Lennnox have, they should be more professional to any client or anyone who seeks their services. And I’m no pro but your ac should not be having to be completely replaced after 5 years, like the technician recommended. So every 5 years you’re going to scam me into installing a new unit? I am so disappointed with their service and yet another day without A/C because I considered them first.

AVOID TEMPO AIR AT ALL COST:Do NOT use the inept and corrupt employee owners of Tempo Air, the company operates with zero ethics.Here’s the situation: new construction, I’m the first owner. The home and Tempo Air installed HVAC unit is a mere four years old.Here’s the problem: ever since purchasing and occupying my home, I’ve had severe condensation issues that have saturated drywall at vents, ducts, plenums and the evaporator coil. For four summers now, Tempo Air has come out and had little clue as to how to remedy the problem that they created after their shoddy installation. Even more alarming, Tempo Air has recklessly allowed the situation to spiral out of control so badly that mold, rust and corrosion now riddles the four year old Lennox HVAC system that they designed and installed (see attached pictures).Tempo Air is well versed in separating their customers from their hard earned cash with questionable sales tactics and exorbitant pricing but make no mistake; Tempo Air’s “expertise” is NOT heating and air conditioning. They’ve very egregiously devoted the minimal amount of diligence & effort to prevent the predicament we find ourselves in today. Our system contained considerable mold, rust and corrosion that Tempo Air knew, or should have known, was present. The result was a total replacement of our entire HVAC system after just four years of use.Sadly, this isn’t isolated to just my home; our neighbors have also had to totally replace their Tempo Air installed HVAC system in roughly the same four year span (Tempo Air was the original HVAC contractor that the builder selected to install HVAC systems in all 89 units that make up our neighborhood).If you use Tempo Air be prepared; the company has difficulty doing the right thing & behaving responsibly. Ethics are not something you’ll find in abundance when doing business with Tempo Air. Stay away from Tempo Air and the financial heartache the company deals in if you can.

Jay Lundberg did amazing service at my home when I had a clog in my main sewer line. He did an inspection with a camera without any extra fee too find the clog with a sewer camera. He informed us where it was and showed us the video. He showed our house on the camera prior to starting to show us it wasn’t just a video of a pipe clogged and that’s it. He unclogged the pipe and ran water for a long time to confirm there was no clog and ran his camera one more time to double check everything was clear before taking payment. He informed us of how our plumbing system worked and gave us different solutions and had products to take care of our plumbing better. Jay was great to help us out in a tough situation. Tempo used to have great customer service, but something has changed recently. Due to a new computer system, they have cancelled on my maintenance appointment 2 times in a row due to a training that keeps happening during the same time as my appointment. They cancel without alerting me, calling me, etc. I am only finding out after I call their office. I am now hoping they can actually make the 3rd appointment, but looks like that too, is delayed due to staff training. Now for the 3rd time in a row, I have waited for a tech to come and no one came. I then called the office this morning and was told (again) that tech staff are in training. And again, no one called me to let me know there will be a delay in my service time. I also called and asked to speak to a manager about my experience and no one call me.Tempo: I am very disappointed. Please fix your system and please stop booking customer appointments and then cancelling them at the last minute due to staff trainings. You need to know when these trainings are occurring! You also need to deliver stronger customer service and call customers and alert them to appointment cancellations and delays!

I highly recommend using Tempo Air for residential HVAC issues. We had a bit of a fiasco with our HVAC this month, but the Tempo team handled it exceptionally well.In Feb. 2021 our HVAC unit was acting funny. A Tempo technician came out and found a needle in the haystack leak in our coil. We were really grateful that he found the issue. We had called out other companies multiple times and no one was ever able to locate the leak, until Tempo came out. The technician contacted the HVAC manufacturer immediately and was able to get the new coil replaced under our warranty that was within days of expiring.The coil was ordered and due to delays with the manufacturer, it didnt arrive until Aug. 2021. We were quickly scheduled for an installation.The install team showed up on time as expected and completed the job in good time. As stated above, the coil was covered under warranty. We paid for the labor for the job and went on our way.Within the days following the coil installation our AC unit slowly stopped cooling our house... which is really rough when its 100 degrees outside in August! We called Tempo back out to look at it and the technician thought it was due to a dirty filter. We disagreed with him, but went ahead and tried a new filter to see. That didnt work. Our house was getting hotter and hotter!We had the technician come back out, and during his visit our compressor blew out. At this point, the technician realized that the issue was the compressor. Since we hadnt ever had compressor issues until after the coil install, its reasonable to assume that somehow during the coil install, something was done incorrectly and the compressor suffered damage.Tempo was out at our house the very next day, ALL DAY, to make sure our air was turned back on. They had a compressor shipped in overnight, and when that didnt solve the issue, they replaced our entire HVAC unit. The technicians didnt leave our house until 8pm. They were tired after a long day, but they were committed to making sure our HVAC was operational.This was likely a frustrating case for their staff, but you wouldnt know it. Every person we spoke with on the Tempo Air team was professional, kind, and compassionate about our issues.It was a bit of a rocky few days, but overall, we are VERY pleased with how this company chose to handle this situation. Mistakes and errors happen, but not many companies take full responsibility for fixing the errors and going above and beyond to make it right.We will absolutely to continue to use Tempo Air to service our HVAC system in the future and recommend them to our friends and family as well.Thank you for the honest work!

Had a home warranty rebalance scheduled “between 8am and noon”. These guys call me, I miss the call, so they leave a voicemail. They leave this voicemail at 10:17 in the morning and say that if I don’t call back by 10:25, they’re moving on to the next person and I won’t be helped. So you’re going to give someone less than 10 minutes to respond before you just leave them hanging? Terrible customer service.

We have been having issues with our air conditioner for the past week. It has consistently been getting up to 77° and 78° in our home, and taking almost an entire day to cool back off. We had three different technicians come out and say it was all different things, at first it was an air balance issue, next it was because the coil was dirty, and the last technician stated it was “cooling enough” along with “I don’t want to catch the heat for being the third person to come out, and not have a resolution.” After the third tech came out he stated the lead tech would need to come and see what the issue was because there nothing was wrong. I called Monday to have the lead technician come out, and go figure he was all booked that day, and we were assured someone would call back within the hour to get us scheduled, that was Monday, it’s now Tuesday evening and haven’t heard a word. All this, to say this company is absolutely awful, and have the least qualified HVAC technicians I have ever had to encounter, none of them are knowledgeable, and the customer service is completely, and totally unprofessional. They are all dishonest, and pass the buck instead of ACTUALLY figuring out the problem. DO NOT USE their services, you are better off Googling and trying to fix your issue yourself.

I purchased a home from DR Horton 3/22/24. It is a 1700 sqft home. The home has consistently been 78-80 during the day despite being set at 70. I contacted our warranty team who told me Tempo Air only ensures a TWENTY DEGREE difference between what it’s set at and what you get. I was also told if I had them come to check the system and nothing was wrong, I would be charged despite being within my warranty. I moved here from a house built in 1950s, and would never go above 74. Shame on Air Tempo and shame on D.R. Horton for using such a scam company.

Ray was the best technician Ive had who does work in any discipline. Ray took the time to educate me on how our units work and the issue. It would have been extremely easy for anyone to throw in the towel and recommend replacements parts from the readings he was getting. However, the readings didnt make sense to him so he took time to look further into the issue and found another company made a mistake two years ago and he corrected it. My units are under warranty but Rays knowledge and experience saved me thousands of dollars in labor.

Tempo is not what it used to be, they used to be better than all other local services (personal experience) even when it came with a premium but it was worth it. Now they are just another expensive option.Ive had their membership for years and for the last two years Ive included my rental property as well so Tempo is definitely making some decent profit off me. Last year my downstairs AC showed a malfunction message just after the tuneup from a month or so ago (Tempo performed the tuneup and gave me an all clear). They couldnt come on the same day despite the fact that I am a member which includes preferred scheduling. When the technician came he first charged me $90 service fee (again, despite of me being a member and this happened after their tuneup) then he charged me $400 to fill the refrigerant. After the refrigerant was filled he ran more test then determined my indoor unit needs to be replaced. At this point I didnt understand what was the point for the refrigerant fill and he just gave me the thats how we do it answer. Again keep in mind, this happened all AFTER they gave me the all clear from the tuneup about a month ago. I went with their recommendation and had my indoor unit replaced.Fast forward to this year, my AC again showed a malfunction message (which turned out to be a very minor thing), called Tempo and again couldnt fit me into a same day service call. At that point I told them dont bother, called someone else and he showed up within 45 mins. Guess who I am going with starting next year?

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. Avoid Tempo Air at all costs. I purchased a brand new home in December 2023, and Tempo Air was the HVAC installer. The Tempo technician came out to complete a six-month HVAC maintenance service this Monday. As soon as he went in the attic, he indicated there was a problem.Whichever technician installed the HVAC when the home was built did not properly install the HVAC drain line. The condensation from the system is now filling up the secondary drain pan. The technician informed me he would schedule a New Home Install technician to come and properly install the drain line. I followed up with Tempo Air the following afternoon to confirm the New Home Install tech has been informed that repairs are needed... the New Home team was never informed. So I let them know the issue, and they scheduled for a technician to complete the repair on Thursday (5/23).Thursday rolls around... I call twice (at 2:37pm and at 4:43pm) to confirm the technician is still coming out to complete the repair. The first call, the scheduler informed me the technician would arrive after 4pm. The second call, the scheduler informed me the technician would arrive after 8pm.I just received a third call with No Caller ID... the scheduler informed me the technician will not be able to come out today, and will need to reschedule for tomorrow afternoon.I am beyond upset and disappointed. Tempo has no respect for clients time, and no pride in their workmanship. They had two chances to reschedule earlier today when I called. Now Im stuck with an HVAC company that lies, shows no pride in their work, an improperly installed HVAC system, secondary drain pan filling up, and my mom visiting for the long weekend to a hot house.Update 05/24/2024:Is this company a joke? The scheduler sets the appointment for this afternoon. While Im at the airport at 11:50am, Tempo calls to inform me their technician is 15 minutes away from my home in Fort Worth. I remind them that my mom is visiting for the long weekend, and that I am currently at the airport to pick her up. The scheduler says they will have a technician out later this afternoon once I return from the airport.A Tempo technician calls at 5:16pm and leaves a voicemail to let me know they are in my area to come repair my system. He informs me to call back within 10 minutes to confirm my availability. I called back at 5:20pm and let the scheduler know I am home and for the technician to come look at the HVAC. It is now 6pm and no one has shown up. If youre in need of any HVAC service, I encourage you to look elsewhere.Update 05/24/2024 6:19pm:I received a call from yet another scheduler. He informs me the technician is 3 minutes away. Due to the flakiness Ive experienced from this company thus far, I ask is it 3 minutes or 30? I give him the rundown of events over the week--a Tempo technician came on Monday, and said the new home team would have to come out to diagnose the issue. An appointment was scheduled for Thursday afternoon. No one showed.The scheduler then proceeds in a condescending tone asking well, what do you want me to do? I want you to have a technician come out to properly line the drainage for the HVAC you installed 6 months ago? Im not sure why this is a difficult request.This issue should have been resolved during the 6-month HVAC inspection on Monday. Sounds like Tempo doesnt inspect or correct much of anything. They would have to show up to their scheduled appointments first.

Part 1: From the appointment call to the completion of the job, they are one of the best. Fernando Perez came and diagnosed the issues with my air-conditioning unit. He not only completed the job to fix my A/C issues but also identified a plumbing clogged up issue while fixing a drainage issue on my A/C unit. I suppose I was confused on how much I was to be charged. I thought the “replacement labor” included the service charge. But it was the service charge on top of the replacement labor. We are grateful that we selected Tempo Air to service our plumbing issues. Eric Stewart is a great plumber. He assessed our problem and planned it out very well so that the repair will do the least damage to the construction of the house and corrected the problems. This was a big project. The house was recently purchased by us and it seems that the leak and sewer smells were due to disconnected pipes from that of the main sewer lines. The tub and bathroom pipes were floating just below the foundation spitting out all the waste water to the bottom of our house, going nowhere. The entire unit had been installed about 4-5 months ago, and the thermostat wiring had not been connected quite right. He resolved that issue and completed his check of the system. On April 20, in rush hour traffic, Tempo Air van 294 was driving like a maniac and literally ran me onto the shoulder and nearly into a dividing wall and causing me to pick up a nail in my tire from the shoulder. The male driver was weaving in and out of traffic, flooring his engine so loud I could hear it through a close window and over my radio, cutting into spaces half the size of his van, and making the roads unsafe. I was able to get the van info and called Tempo Air. A nice lady took my info, expressed sympathy and said she would pass it on to the fleet manager, who would contact me. As of writing this, I’ve yet to hear a peep. If Tempo Air is employing reckless individuals like this, and not placing a premium on both their safe driving *in a company van*, and both the liability and bad image this presents, I would not trust them with even basic service. I certainly won’t ever be calling them, and I’d advise you against it as well.PS Kudos to a well-known Texas tire store that fixed the flat and DOES understand the value of their image.

I am so disappointed in Tempo and their level of service to customers. We built a new home with Drees in 2021-2022 and have received nothing but poor, unprofessional service from Tempo Air each and every time we have had to call them - which they never want to talk on the phone and prefer to handle things through email. Each time we call or email to discuss any concerns we have or questions, we get the run around. We had a guy come out 8 weeks ago for a list of things and he did one thing on the list and left. We called to get him back out there and was told it would be 2 months before they could come out here! TWO MONTHS! When the guy came over today (I have the video) he leaned against the house and acted as though he wasnt going to come in and said he didnt understand why Tempo sent him out there - are you serious right now? For the square footage of our home and what they installed, they should be embarrassed and they wont make it right. The guy finally comes in to check to see why the upstairs (which is not a very large space - about 1/3 of the downstairs) wasnt pushing out cool air and why it runs all day. He tried bringing up conversations from the prior visit and tried instigating conversations that he knew would get us upset and we asked multiple times to move on and focus on what we asked them to come and do today. We got the runaround, the guy avoided the question and was only worried about how we should be charged for a $100 service call today but instead was going to charge it to Drees. He finally ended up telling us that it was the setting we had the fan on - (Which Drees NEVER walked us through the units and all of that like they should have), so we were hoping this guy would have been a bit more understanding and explain some things, but we clearly were expecting too much. He adjusted the fan setting and said, well, expect higher bills now and basically left. Just unreal - I dont understand and I will only use Tempo if we have to. There are a ton of better companies out there we will support and recommend. Stay away from Tempo.

We just bought a new home, and the builder told us to reach out to Tempo for our HVAC system for warranty registration. Needed a new temperature sensor board for a Lennox hvac system about a year ago. Install went fine. A few weeks ago I started receiving the same error message. I called to find out if it was still under warranty. Im now 4 or 5 calls deep trying to get someone to answer that question. All they want to do is send out a tech for a service fee just to tell me if its under warranty? You cant simply look up the part replaced and say yes or no? Customer service (Patricia?) says shes ask her supervisor but never calls back. Last time I asked to be transferred to a supervisor. Left Mark Flemming a voicemail only to, unsurprisingly, not receive a call back. Good luck with post sales support from this place.

Every single person in DFW should avoid these people. I unfortunately bought a new house that the builder contracted with this awful company. My AC went out and it is currently 84 degrees inside. Now, I moved into this house 1/17, and it is now 6/11. Not even 5 months, and more than half of that time the AC was almost never used, so that gives you an idea of the quality of service/parts you can expect with Tempo. I placed my first phone call at 1130am and was told someone would come out today. Shortly thereafter, I received a call back from the same person now saying it would be Tuesday, but that Im on a supposed wait list and that the dispatcher would contact me. After still hearing nothing from the dispatcher I called again and requested it be escalated. I wanted to speak with the dispatcher manager as well as the service center manager. An hour later of hearing nothing, I call again. This time I talk to a manager who says he will escalate and call me back in 30 minutes. An hour later he finally calls back and I still have not talked to the dispatcher and nothing has changed other than it just getting hotter inside and outside. 4 hours have passed, and had I known, I would have just called and paid a different company to come out and get it fixed TODAY. If you want a company that actually cares about you, your family and your pets, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. The builder has been informed about how awful this company is, and I truly hope they find a different AC contractor so no one else has to go through this.Edit: The dispatchers never called and the manager I spoke with never called back as both were promised. However, a tech named Marquis did show up, to my surprise, as no one bothered telling me they did find someone to come out. Marquis was a really really good guy, and worked really hard for 2-3 hours in high 90 degree weather and was super nice the whole time. I give him 5 stars. Its unfortunate he has to represent the people I was dealing with.

The ballpark price of a capacitor (Google search) is $20 - $40 and it took less than 5 minutes for the technician to replace. I realize there are other expenses, such as troubleshooting, warranty, profit, overhead costs etc... that go into the price, but $186 for a $30 part that took 5 minutes to install seems high. I was pleased that I received a 10% military discount on my total bill - thank you!

Tempo has been servicing our units for almost 3 years now, and they continue to provide first class service on every visit. Our most recent technician, Mike H., was extremely friendly and professional. He was very knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything he was doing, along with making some suitable recommendations. He even went out of his way to address a noise issue coming from one of the ceiling vents, which is now much quieter. I just want to say that during my troubles of having my HVAC system repaired while communicating with the builder and tempo air, the customer service I received was the best I have ever had.I want to thank Pamela and Ashley especially (quite literally the best customer service Ive ever had).They were very aware of my problem, was attentive, reached out several times, quick about trying to resolve the problem. If I were tempo air, I would pay whatever it takes to keep them on as long as possible. I also want to thank the manager here even though I never got to speak to him directly or know his name. On the day a leak was found, he sent over a technician immediately and said we will bill the builder or cover it completely.The technician that helped me the most from Tempo Air was Mike Haghdoust. If you need a problem diagnosed and fixed, I would highly suggest asking for him. He helped expedite the fix for the problem drastically as he was able to correctly diagnose the problem.I want to thank Leon and his team as well that came out and replaced a huge part of the unit (the coil). They did an excellent job, was thorough and double checked to make sure everything was working. Leon walked me through everything that was wrong, what they did to fix it, what they replaced and why it was broken to begin with.My builder Yasha was also amazing in this whole process, but I want to thank the whole team here at Tempo Air that helped me through this HVAC disaster. Once again, huge thank you to Pamela and Ashley here for the multiple conversations we had to fix this problem over the course of 2-3 weeks.

I had another company come out to do a spring AC system tune-up and they told me I needed my coils replaced. I had Tempo come out to provide a second opinion on my system because they had originally installed it when my house was built four years ago. When I called the office staff was very accommodating, getting me an appointment the next day and providing a 2 hour window for the service. He was able to troubleshoot why 1 of our cooling units was not functioning properly, and he explained in details, answers all my questions. I went with Tempo since the brand was referred by our neighbor who is in the construction industry. We were facing issues with our ac unit and needed someone to come in - good part with Tempo was that they could send someone in the next day which we found was hard with other players that we reached out to. Randy was assigned and he spent almost 2 hours and left certifying that the ac unit was in good shape. While he was here, he did rectify a connection issue with the Nest which per him resulted in some ice formation. This was on a Friday afternoon and come Saturday, the unit is again giving issues - the temperature inside the house was in the 80s making it uncomfortable for all of us so much that we ended up sleeping upstairs which is served by another unit. We called Tempo and were told that a Tech would come on Monday. Mike came to our home and did some tests - the issue we were facing is that the unit was turning on for a little bit, every now and then. He quickly identified the problem and mentioned that the contactor needs replacement. He had the part (not OEM but some other brand) and confirmed that it is a reliable option which they use and comes with a one year warranty.Things that didnt go well for us,- Even when the visit was for the same root cause which surfaced within 24 hours, their initial position was to charge for the visit. The first visit was charged 161 dollars. I had to push back to get the charge waived off- The cost for the spare part was ridiculously high. I looked up online and found that the price was below 50 bucks and Tempo charged me 318 dollars. I did bring that up with the Tech, he mentioned that it is their price and comes with a margin.- Through both interactions, none of the techs explored warranty claim options, with our manufacturer Lennox. This is something that can be done by any service provider - we figured that subsequently. Since this was not done, customer orientation is questionable.- Both Techs tried to sell the annual contract for maintenance which is for 360 bucks - you get 2 visits and discount for parts covered in that- Not sure why Randy didnt check contactor in the first visit - he checked the capacitor and certified it to be good. If there are multiple parts that can lead to failure, shouldnt all of them be checked to avoid inconvenience to the customer!!!I am very disappointed with the overall experience and their pricing strategy on parts.

They were friendly and competent; however, it was a simple fix that could have easy been handled over the phone in 60 seconds would.When the technician knows exactly what was going on before he even looked at anything and all it took was flipping a switch, yet they knowingly come out to do a service and charge you $100.
