Had an issue with our AC and gave Neal HVAC a call... Noe and G came out the next day and diagnosed the issue, and I was sent a quote for the repairs later that day. After approving the quote, Noe, G and Arturo all came out the following day and worked hard for about an hour and a half fixing everything and then testing the system to make sure all was good... They were very courteous and professional and cleaned everything up after they were done. They even mentioned that they do offer annual or semi annual checkups, but didnt try any hard sell, they were just advising me and giving suggestions in case I was interested. Highly recommend theses guys, our AC is working great now!

Neil HVAC was able to do a last minute repair over the summer that helped us stay cool through the hottest months of the year at a fair price. When it came time to replace our HVAC I trusted them to do this important job. The team they sent out to do the job was professional and well trained. They kept me informed and did not leave until I was given a full review of my new system. I would highly recommend Neal HVAC.

We had our AC unit go out a couple days before a big freeze was going to hit so we needed to get it addressed quickly. After having a local company come out and look at our system we were quoted a price of anywhere from 10-20k to get the job done. To his credit the tech spent a lot of time with us but the price was just unrealistic.After that visit we called multiple other HVAC businesses to try and get a rough estimate on pricing to replace the whole system. I provided them with all of the details we got from the first tech and explained that I knew it would require everything to be replaced. No company would even give me an estimate over the phone until I called Neal Heating & Air Conditioning. The owner asked a couple questions and within 5 minutes he had quoted a price that was over 20% cheaper than the other quote we got and scheduled installation for the next day.His guys were professional and spent all day getting the job done without any complaints and were willing to answer questions and were generally just pleasant to be around.We had some arrangements to make for our payment because of the unexpected failure of our previous unit and they were able to accommodate us while we got it figured out.Highly recommend working with them if you need work done on your HVAC system. They were lifesavers and they made it seamless and enjoyable along the way.

Chris, Noe, and G were all very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Chris runs an honest business at a fair price and wasnt trying to upsell me on extra unnecessary bells and whistles. He took the time to thoroughly answer all of my questions and was very responsive to my concerns. Highly recommend!

They sent two techs to my house that discussed all of the options that might indicate what might be wrong with my heating. It was clear they had a ton of experience between them and they engaged me to understand what they were discussing. When they came to install my new unit, they also cleaned my attic, garage, and front patio ! The owner, Chris Neal, even stopped by the next day to see how my experience was. Top class act all-around, I highly recommend.

My heat wasn’t working Saturday morning so I freaked out and researched places that were open 24/7. I came across Neal HVAC and spent an hour looking at reviews. They are 100% correct. I called with an immediate response and Arturo came out within the hour to look. Unfortunately, I needed a whole new HVAC system which was explained thoroughly to me answering my millions of questions and concerns. Chris and Arturo are very down to earth, they didn’t try to upsell me, and they were very direct and open with the following steps needed. No one likes to spend thousands on a new system or unit, but if I can help anyone make a decision on who call to come out, inspect, and install I definitely think you should use them. We had a new A/C and Furnace installed by Gershom, Noe, and Arturo. They communicated very well throughout the process and spent time at the end to go over the entire system. I attempted to install my own Google Nest but couldnt quite figure it out. I had called 3 HVAC companies—1 sent out a technician only to tell me yep, your thermostat is done without attempting to fix it, the next company refused to give me a quote for the installation until a tech was out here, then I called Neal HVAC and it was like chatting with my grandfather.He told me cost upfront, would provide the Nest, gave me a little overview of how the device worked, and scheduling the service was super easy—just a quick text to their main number. Arturo came out to install the device and made sure everything was running smooth, reminded me I needed a new furnace filter, and helped me get the app up and running before leaving. Wonderful service—cant recommend them enough! My go-to local HVAC service from now on!

Our air conditioner went out last weekend. We had a recommendation to call Neal HVAC. They were there within a couple of hours, evaluated and explained our problem and options. Arrived early yesterday morning and completed the job by mid-afternoon. Workers were great, polite and cleaned up everything when they finished. Would recommend this business for honesty and quality of work.

Neal HVAC was nothing short of absolutely amazing. Professional all the way. From phone call to schedule an estimate of repairs to job complete was under 24 hrs. The actual time to remove my entire heating/AC system and replace everything was 4 hrs and 45 min. Arturo, Noe and G worked like a well oiled machine. Chris…hold on to those guys!!! Had the best experience with this company! My friend referred them to me and we are very happy. I needed someone to come look at our hvac and they came out immediately. Ultimately we needed to replace our whole system and they were able to get the job completed that same week! They were also very accommodating when I had special requests on the day of installation. Neal’s installed our new HVAC system in March 2022.My husband and I recently purchased our home and knew we would likely need a complete HVAC replacement sooner rather than later. We called Neal’s to come check our old systems and give us a quote for a new system. One of our units used R22 so we realized we would need to replace it as Freon is hard to get for those and it was low. Our upstairs unit was functional but not great. Jesse helped us understand our old units and advised us on how to improve the heating and cooling in our home. After some thought and many questions, we decided to replace both our upstairs and downstairs units with Carrier Performance systems.Neal’s was able to get us in the same week we signed the contract and our install was done in one day. Arturo, Gersham, Noe, and Jesse did a great job on our installations. They were respectful to our home, taking care to protect our home from damage and we were blown away at how much nicer the interior and exterior units looked. These guys take the time to really make everything look great. Our systems are running well so far and we’ve already seen an improvement in the humidity levels and cooling in our house. We also appreciated the text alerts for scheduling and arrival.Before and after photos.

Neals recently installed a new system in our home, they were on time for both the assessment and install. I felt the team was honest and professional. The work site was cleaned up after the job was complete and the cost was exactly what was on the estimate. I will definitely be using them for all of our future AC needs.

First thing I would like to say is this has been a long process trying to replace 2 AC units. I received 4 estimates before Chris With Neils Heating & AC who was highly recommended by several of my neighbors came out and I received 7 in total Neils had the best estimate and I didnt have to settle for the lowwer end equipment. Chris the owner of the company was very profesional and was able to sell his services without having to add alot of fluff. I was very happy with the workmanship of his install team Arturo, Noe and G they where efficient and showed alot of pride in their work they also explained all the functions of the equipment and how to properly maintain it. Having to replace Your AC can be a along and stressful process but you and your pockets will appreciate choosing Neils Heating and AC.

I want to start off by saying if your looking for an all around hvac company for any kind of work, this is the place to go. Our system kicked the bucket in the middle of July, and Chris had me setup the next day for an on site appointment; and just a few days later we had a complete new system installed for less than what I was expecting. Arturo and his crew were super cool and down to earth and knocked out a clean install in a short period of time. What takes Neils to the next level is that a month after my install I was having a problem with my system; and when I texted them on a Saturday morning I had an appointment made in less than an hour. Arturo showed up 2 hours after my initial message, and replaced my thermostat under warranty; on a Saturday morning! These guys are legit and I wouldnt take my business anywhere else. Thanks guys!

Scheduling was super easy. They were able to come out and service my unit the same day. My tech Arturo was super helpful. There was no upsell - I never felt pressured or manipulated. He came in, diagnosed my problem within minutes, showed me warning signs to look out for, and resolved my issue. He discussed what to expect considering the age of my unit and respectfully suggested service plans for me to consider in the future. I am adding Neal to my list of preferred contractors - you should too!

I am incredibly grateful to Chris and his team at Neal Heating and AC in Hutto for coming to my shop and fixing several issues that my previous A/C technician couldn’t resolve. We had a foul smell that would come and go, and despite repeatedly calling the company that installed my A/C, I was met with excuses and no real solutions. Chris came in, thoroughly troubleshooted the problem, and fixed everything. Since then, we haven’t had a single issue. Their professionalism and expertise are unmatched. Highly recommend!

Great A/C Service! My AC in my home gave out and I called Neal Heating & A/C. Arturo came out and checked my AC, gave me an estimate. My whole system was replaced the next day. The crew came out and got right after it. I had cool air by 1:30 in the afternoon. Neal provides great customer service, profesional and experienced workers to do the repairs! I highly recommend them.

Arturo from Neals HVAC was super knowledgeable and friendly. This was a nightmare to have to deal with but I’m happy I found Neal’s HVAC because they made the process easier and the process point was great!!!!

They couldn’t fit us into there schedule on Saturday so they talked us through what they thought the problem sounded like over the phone. My husband tried to fix the problem himself and while he fixed something the AC was still not working so I sent them a text on Sunday night. I woke up this morning to a message saying someone would be to my house between 11- 1 pm. Then I received a message at 11 saying Arturo was on his way. He showed up about 11:12 pm. He explained everything he did to my husband. He told him to run it and let them know immediately if there were any further problems. We’ve been using there for years now though he used to be under a different business name. I couldn’t be happier. I always refer people here if they have any HVAC problems!

Neals Heating & AC in office management was very knowledgeable about the AC/Heat systems that he was describing and was able to give me a quote over the phone. They were quick to respond and were able to start work within two working days. Their had very good pricing compared to the other competitors. The installation team was very professional and worked with a positive attitude. They worked diligently to get our new system installed!!!

Arturo from Neals Heating & AC is who I have worked with from the estimate, through the install and the final balance. And these guys a such a pleasure to work for, their work is clean, clean, clean!I had my AC unit that was 10 years old and the furnace19 years old replaced. I also had them place in the new REME HALO light into the system to help with allergies. And they truly work with my wife waking up with even less drainage then ever.As an architect, I really appreciated their attention to details and again how clean they make the system. Picture below. We also switched out to a single mega filter in the unit, which takes away from buying 4 different sized filters.And if you get as many estimates as I did you will see how the market works. My 5 ton unit with the HALO light was $9,900 TTL. Others could not come within $4K of this price. I was also said to hear when my neighbors told me they paid $17K and another one paid $20K for their units.Grant, they must be paying for some kind of extended warranty? But out of my 19 years, weve been lucky with our systems and have never needed the warranties - so I dont buy them.I asked one company if they would match Neals pricing as they estimated the exact same unit, but were $3.5K more. They said they could not and if I could get that price then I should. I respect that honest, as it doesnt happen all the time.Last, how does Neals Heating & AC beat others pricing? Well its simple, they only install Carrier and have been a mass installer for them for the past 30 years. Neals has always been great. The installation of the air conditioner almost 2-3 years ago, follow questions and concerns, and today with helping with an annoyance and solving the problem with 15 minutes worth of work versus scheduling me out like some other places would do. Highly recommend.

I had been in touch with Chris at Neals for a few years anticipating replacing our 20 year old AC units. Finally, both units went out out last August and Chris was there to answer the call. I highly recommend this company. They were straight up with the cost. They did not try to upsale. The price was competitive. It took 6 days before they were able to replace or unit because of Labor Day weekend. However, they were very personable. They swept and cleaned AND did a great job!

Absolutely amazing service! Arturo G and Neo were absolutely amazing! This is the best customer service. I think I’ve ever had in a single service they were in and out in a day. The estimate was very fair and beats all the competition literally the best AC company around.

We recently had to replace our entire HVAC and we contacted a few different vendors in the area. Chris quoted us a very reasonable price and was able to get his crew out the next day to install which was great since it was still cold and our system only had the aux heat keeping it barely warm enough (also was running constantly). His guys did a great job with the install and were in and out within the time frame they estimated. Could not be happier with the price, service, and after-sale follow-up by Chris who wanted to make sure everything went well and was working properly. Definitely recommend these guys for anyone who needs work done or a replacement system.

Excellent and speedy service. Arturo is very professional and friendly. We have used them three times now. Once to replace everything in one zone of our older home, and another time replacing the condenser in another zone. Most recently, troubleshooting and doing minor maintenance around an evaporator coil and drainage pipes. We will definitely use them again next time.

Arturo V. arrived before the beginning of the appointment window and diagnose the issue quickly. He checked to see if the part was in stock and obtain pricing. He had a packed schedule, and wasnt sure it could be done today. He had some cancelations later in the day, so he was able to pick up the part and install it. After 2 days of no AC, it was a welcomed relief. They set the worst expectations, but went above and beyond to correct the issue sooner.

I’ve used Neal’s Heating & AC the last few years helping me limp along while nursing my 17 yr old upstairs AC unit to get a few more years out of it due to a leak in the coil. Decided to get it replaced and cannot thank Chris and his team… Arturo, Noe, and Gershom… for the quick turnaround at a very fair cost. Only took them a little over 2 hours to put the new unit in. You will not go wrong using these guys and they have a customer for life.

I had 15 AC repair and installation companies on my list. Well NEAL Heating & AC not only reached my door instantaneously, but they also didn’t try to break my bank. Super customer service oriented and walked me through everything. Last summer our AC broke with a similar problem and yup this repair guy (Arturo) walked me through the same process so I was able to cross reference his diagnosis. Truly truly happy with this company and service!

We had a Carrier AC/Heat unit installed last Sept. The AC worked perfectly until winter hit, then we started having issues with the heater. The team came out multiple times to look at the unit and methodically figured out what the issue was- ended up being an issue with older wiring in the house. The unit works perfect now. They were very responsive and always positive. I highly recommend Neals.

Technician came out to my house, even called to make sure to arrive earlier than which is ok. I didnt really have an issue with my heater, just user error. Could not properly adjust thermostat to turn on the heater. Tech checked everything out, doule checked and unit is working fine. He took time to explain I didnt give it time to come on, very polite and efficient. There was charge since they did not have to do anything. I always call these guys when unit needs to be serviced, and will use them again. They are highly recommended.

Update: I used their services multiple times.Initial Review:The first time was that call you never want to make: broken ac during the summer. They were fast, very professional and the price was fair. Jesse was very polite, friendly and knowledgeable. He informed us that the company had a maintenance plan at a reasonable cost and we decided to give it a shot. Here we go again on our second visit, this time for our first schedule tune-up for the winter. Once again we had the pleasure to receive a visit from Jesse. He was thorough and made sure to explain in clear terms what he was doing on that visit. Absolutely recommend this team!!Our most recent visits were with Arturo and hes been great too! Very thorough and helpful, well keep using their services as long a we can. Our ac hasnt broken once since that first call and they do a good job at keeping it nice and running well.Updated Jun/2024The latest time I got them was on a new house that had horrible issues with temperature. 2 rooms in this house are way hotter than the rest. They came and checked out, the hot air return was not connected, so they fixed that and increased the air flow to the rooms that had reduced airflow and the house is a lot nicer now!

These men explained everything thoroughly and the work was completed in a timely fashion. Not to mention, they were considerably less than 2 other companies that we considered. I had a really great experience using Neals Heating and AC. On the phone, Neal was very knowledgeable and took his time answering my questions and the best solution for my issues. I decided to have them install a new AC unit. Neal actually indicated that my prior unit was too big and that a much more efficient unit would be the smaller, lesser expensive tonnage. Arturo, Noe and G. came over to install my new AC unit and were very polite and professional. It was nice to support a local business which also happened to be the most reasonably priced one of the 4 that I contacted.

Repeat customer. Arturo is very personable and explains and shows you what he finds and what may give you issues in the future. If something needs to be repaired or replaced, he will tell you and show you the bad equipment that was replaced as well. They give you a heads up as to when and which service tech will be coming which is also great. Will continue to use them for all my HVAC maintenance.

They answered call on first try, came by the house within a couple hours, and were extremely friendly. Would not go anywhere else.

As we were getting ready to list our home for sale, the original HVAC system to the house showed signs of giving up. We decided to replace it. Neal’s had the best price. They were the only company that gave us an estimate for the correct size unit for our home and they had available units in stock. They fit us in the schedule right away (I believe same week). The guys that installed it Noe, Gersham, and Arturo (I hope I got their names correct) did a fantastic job! The new install was done much nicer than the one we had before. Also, they use an actual raised concrete base for the outside unit and not a plastic one. We had one issue with ours (make sure to keep reading) , it stopped heating the very next day after install which was a Saturday. Neal (the owner) and Noe came out that morning (even though it was a weekend) and worked on it. We all thought it was fixed. A few hours later still having problems. Neal came out again that same day and continued working on it until he found the issue. Turned out the roofers that had replaced our roof a year prior had squashed the vent pipe cover on too far and the furnace could not vent. They fixed the problem and it worked great ever since!

Neal Heating and AC team showed up on time and performed their service efficiently and quickly. The staff was friendly, professional, and advised me on the status of the work being performed. I would highly recommend Neal Heating and AC.

Quick response and provided honest opinion on how to improve the AC airflow for one of the bedrooms. No sales push. We need more of honest AC guy like Chris. Neal HVAC is my first and probably the only contractor to use for any HVAC related issues.

I purchased a new A/C unit from Neal’s Heating and A/C this week and their service response from my first call when our A/C stopped working to the final installation was excellent. The young men were courteous and professional throughout the install, keeping me updated, even with pictures! The new system had our home cool and comfortable within just a few hours!

End of July 2023, HOT SUMMER IN ACTION.I called Chris when one of my AC units stopped working. He had me scheduled for a repair EARLY THE NEXT DAY. With the extreme heat over 100F for weeks many are in need of AC repair but Chris still got me help within hours of calling. What can you say about Arturo the technician that came to my house. Arturo is the only technician that has serviced my AC since I bought my house 10 years ago. He installed my two unit AC system a few years ago and is beyond an exceptional technician. Knowledge, skill, judgment, honest, fair and very likable. Arituro is punctual with excellent communication skills; and responsive if you have a need after he has completed the repair. I haven’t even mentioned Chris’s AC has THE best pricing. He was the lowest bid (by a lot) of 3 quotes when he replaced my system. Best price. Best service. Long time customer.

We had Arturo, Nore, and (I’m so sorry I forgot the third guy’s name already) come and replace our 20 year old HVAC systems. They did an AMAZING job. They were professional, thorough, walked us through the job once it was completed. They had to cut into the ceiling to remove and replace one of the systems in our attic and basically completely redo the system from the previous owners hack job. I applaud the amount of work they did in the amount of time they were here and patched everything up to where you wouldn’t even know they were there. I wouldn’t recommend any other company to work on or replace an HVAC. We did so much research on who to hire and so happy we chose them. Stop comparing and give them a call. You won’t be disappointed!

I have used Neals Heating and AC exclusively during my 17 years in Round Rock. The customer service and service after the sale is tremendous and prompt. Arturo is a true standout. We’ve dealt with Neal’s HVAC since the first time we had a problem with our AC system. Back then it was the owner himself who serviced our system. I remembered his cellphone was ringing almost every 5 minutes while he was doing his job. When I asked him if he had anybody else with him to lessen his workload he said he said he was being careful in hiring because this is a family business. Several years after that, we got our new AC from them. Since then, we have relied on them for maintenance checks. Never had any issues or problems in our dealings with them. They have remained dependable and affordable. They are a local and family owned company, and their dedication to provide honest and quality work is proven by the people that are working with them now. Arturo is proof of that.

As a first-time customer, my experience couldnt have been better. Arturo showed up right on time. He was so knowledgeable that he had already determined the correct problem with my AC just by us discussing it while walking toward the unit. He was done checking my system and installing the new part - which he had in his truck - within 15 minutes. A quick test confirmed the cold air was back, and at a very low cost! First-time customer, now you have a customer for life.

It was great. The guys showed me everything. They were really patient in showing me how to use the thermostat. I downloaded the app to my phone and they walked me through everything, including where the filters were and how to replace them!

Arturo is the BEST!!! First off, Ive been without AC and heating for six months. After spending close to $1000 in a handful of years and having no clear answer from the previous repair company on why my A/C kept failing, I said screw it and didnt bother to get it fixed when it failed again this past November. I went without AC and heating until May because I was so tired of paying the money and knowing it would just break again. Well yesterday, my kids were complaining that the house was too hot so I called Neals Heating & AC and they sent someone over this morning. He just left. His name is Arturo and he not only took the time to explain to me what had gone wrong, show me the specific parts involved (a fuse) and explain conceptually why the previous repair company had failed to solve the issue, he identified the root cause and fixed it. Apparently, something had been configured in a way that basically guaranteed the system would trip. Also, this time, the fix cost much less than the previous company. My fingers are crossed that its smooth sailing for a while, but I cant say enough about Arturo and Neals Heating and AC. Theyve earned my business 110% and I really recommend you give them a chance if your current company sucks. P.s. I really wanted to tip Arturo but theres no option for that during billing. Neals Heating & AC did a great job replacing our HVAC system. They were very professional and knowledgeable during the initial assessment and installation. The installation crew was very organized, polite, and kept the work area very clean. I highly recommend Neals!

Chris initially answered all my questions over the phone and scheduled a time for his lead installer, Alberto to do a walk thru of all my old equipment. Alberto was very thorough, professional, and up-front about the all viable options. Once I made a decision to move forward with the work, Chris scheduled me quickly and the team was out at my house the next business day. I know this is not always possible but they made it happen. Day of the install, the team was on time, considerate to lay out rugs to protect my floors, answered all my questions, and even finished ahead of schedule. I would recommend this company to my family and friends. So glad I found an honest, up-front company to take care of this big purchase! Highly recommend!

Super all the way around. We researched companies first. Neal’s Heating and AC was at the top of the ratings. We received three other bids and were not impressed for various reasons. A few calls where questions were politely and thoroughly answered got us to the next step. Arturo came out, evaluated the system and discovered out builder undersized the system. The system never worked well and we planning to replace it. Got the quote with a great price and scheduled the install. Arturo, Noe and Gershom were the installers and they were prompt and professional. They worked as a team and explained every step paying close attention to detail. The install was a work of art. A few hours and we were up and running. Arturo was superb, did most of the technical work and demonstrated the new thermostat and provided tips on operation. Noe did all the outside work including pressure testing and fill and got all the paperwork together. Gershom kept everything going, is an exceptional craftsman and double checked everything.. Neal’s Heating and Air is highly recommended and earns their ratings through hard work and exceptional service. Highly recommended.

Very responsive company. Installed my HVAC system 4 years ago and have come out twice to check on non-functioning. It was a minor repair each time and there was no charge. Who does that? Ive recommended them to others who were equally impressed. Good pricing on a new system too.Following up, as I just had both heating/ac units replaced by Neal at another house. Neal’s heating and AC was fantastic. They came out about a month ago and Arturo put in Freon, but I knew system was leaking. Arturo said it may last 2days or 2 months. It lasted one. No choice but for a new system. Neal provided two options back when Freon was put in. He still honored the options after a month. Schedule was done in two days and Arturo and his team was outstanding. Professional, fast, and excellent install. Cleaned and explained everything. Even though getting a new system was a dent in pocket book, Neal and Arturo made it a painless experience. I would absolutely recommend this company for any AC and heating issues.

Neal’s installed a new HVAC system in our house in 2021. They did a great job, very professional, friendly, timely, competitive price, etc. Last night, I left a message about our NEST thermostat not getting power from the HVAC system. Noe and G were at my house before 9:00 this morning, to blow out the primary drain line that was tripping the floater switch. Noe and G were super courteous and helpful, as they explained everything to me and provided several maintenance tips. I am a big fan of Neal’s Heating & AC.

First let me say this is by far a great company to work with. They were professional and very knowledgeable. Arturo, G and Noey are excellent. I cant say enough about how great the service was. I was with a home warrant company who sent a dishonest shady contractor who did more damage. This crew stayed not only fixing my original problem but also repairing the damage caused by the other contractor at a very reasonable price. Will definitely use them from now on if I have any other issues.

Jesse, G, Arturo and Noe, installed two new systems for me today. Temperature outside went to 104 degrees today, and was likely north of 120 degrees in the attic. They crushed it - Installed both systems in short amount of time. The whole team was personable, professional and respectful. They articulated in detail what they were doing. Ive never had home service/work like this before, I honestly cant say thank you enough. They found some sloppy roofing work and went out of their way to correct the roofing contractors mistakes as well. All this on top of extremely competitive pricing. Chris, Jesse and the team are great - I would recommend Neals to anyone. Unfortunately I am new to town, and dont know too many people, or I would have dozens of recommendations for Neals A/C. Super friendly, efficient and knowledgeable guys. We hadn’t had a new AC in 20 years so we were pleasantly surprised by the improvements in technology. The installers were patient with us and explained everything several times.That was good enough for a five star review, but then last Sunday morning we had an error message on our nest thermostat (which they installed). My wife texted the installer and someone was at our house within the hour. On. Sunday! He fixed it quickly and was in his way.Can’t recommend them enough.

Neals is the real deal. We were very happy with their services. We had two companies mis-diagnose our issue that would have cost us thousands in ripple effects (and instead tried to sell us $17k AC units). Our AC/furnace had been out for a couple of weeks, and after a few astronomical quotes, Chris was straightforward, no nonsense, knowledgeable, and professional. 12/20/22 Had installed the system a few years back, and had a recent issue where the drain backed up and prevented system from kicking on. Arturo showed up promptly, diagnosed the issue and resolved quickly at a reasonable price.08/23/23 I had paid for yearly maintenance (theyre price is so much more reasonable than others Ive dealt with). Plus had a 2nd house 3 doors down. Arturo showed up within 3 days. They cleaned the condensing coils spent about an hour doing checks, replaced a transformer that went bad on the allergy light system, replaced thermostat with a new one I wanted...all for $225. These guys treat you right!

Chris & his crew (Arturo, G and Noah) were incredible. I have a single-story home and Im doing an attic conversion with stairs, gameroom, full bath and closest. I called in just to get a ballpark figure on a unit and next thing I know Chris and I were on the phone for an hour. I told him about our project, and he discussed all the pros and cons about mini split vs new unit. He took the time to answer every question we had. Chris personally came out with his guys to look at our addition and made sure we were going with the right size unit and installing the new ducts and returns in the areas they needed to be. Then his guys took over installing the unit. They went out of their way to make sure they made as little mess as possible when installing the new vents and returns on the inside of our home and the little mess that was made, they vacuumed/cleaned up like they were never there. Once finished went over everything with us and we couldnt have been happier with the entire process. These guys are great and will definitely refer them out to everyone I know. Very fair prices as well.

We had a great experience with these guys. Chris Neal gave me by far the most competitive quote on a new Carrier 4 ton installation job. Arturo, Noe, and Gershom came out a few days later and knocked the job out in a half day. They were on time, professional, and took the time to explain all the work they did.I’ll also mention that another duct cleaning company came and quoted me 1600 bucks to clean the “mold” that they had found. Arturo came to give a second opinion free of charge (this is before we had even signed a contract to work with them). He said it was actually just dust and mildew, no mold, and no deep cleaning required. Saved me 1600 with a quick visit. Honesty is hard to find these days and these guys have it!

My AC stopped generating cold air so upon referral from a neighbor, I contact Neals Heating & AC. From my initial conversation with Chris - who answered my cold call immediately - my experience with Neals has been fantastic. Jesse and Noe were dispatched same day to diagnose the issue, and were extremely patient in the 200 questions I asked about what they were doing and what everything meant. Ultimately had to have my compressor replaced, which they did next-day. They showed up on time, were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. I work from home so I appreciate when professionals do what they say theyre going to do. 10/10 would recommend for all of your AC and heating needs.

Heating system kept failing to heat since the Great Freeze of early February. They tried several times to get it up and running correctly, but it would fail again after a day or so. Evidently it was some sort of fluke Chris said he had not ever seen before. Cant fault them as it was indeed very odd. Chris finally had his technicians replace the whole outside unit. Our A/C unit in our house was getting old...22 years old to be exact. Some fluid started leaking one day and we needed immediate help. We called Neals and they sent Jesse out the next day. He fixed the leak and gave us a competitive quote for a new A/C installation. He wasnt pushy. We decided to go for the new A/C unit + installation and they were able to schedule us within a week. The day of installation the guys arrived on time around 9am and got to work. They were done by 2pm. They answered all of our questions related to the new unit and our new smart thermostat. Arturo was fantastic! He arrived within the window of time given, diagnosed the problem (capacitor) and fixed quickly. He then took the time to clean the outside units and double check everything in the attic to make sure there were no additional issues or maintenance items needing attention. Ive been using Neals (AC by Chris) since 2010 or so and its nice to have Chris/Arturo and team anytime our ac/heat goes wonky.

I contacted AC by Chris after reading positive feedback on my neighborhood message board. My evaporator needed to be replaced, and the whole system itself was 18 years old. I have a home warranty, and the offer of the home warranty to repair wasnt favorable so I took the buyout after talking to Chris and used the money toward a brand new system. Prior to hiring him, I talked to 5 companies total. Chris was less expensive than four of the five (not much higher than the other), and way more responsive than any of the five. I hired him and the following morning he and his crew were at the house doing the install. 3 1/2 hours later I had a brand new AC and furnace. The crew cleaned everything up and off they went to their next job. They explained the new thermostat to me and walked me through the warranty prior to leaving. This was a great experience. AC by Chris did exactly what they said they would do, at the exact time, for the exact price they quoted. There were no surprises! I wish all contractors operated like this. Well done, Chris!

I typically dont write reviews, but felt this one was warranted. Chris is great to work with, and his crew was highly respectful in all aspects when installing the new AC/Heater unit. First of all, the whole process and communication with Neals Heating & AC was straight forward, what we agreed on, they did it! Jesse came to provide a quote, he was explaining what is going to happen if I approve, was guiding me through the steps and expectations. Then when it was time, Arturo and Noe showed up to do the work and they showed up exactly when they told they are going to come! They were very respectful and polite from the beginning to the end, if I had questions, they replied and explained, they did left a clean scene after the job and I am quite happy with the job quality they represented, hopefully the the new internal/external units will make their duty for many years from now on :). Our AC unit was not cooling our house. Arturo from Neal Healing & AC came out and diagnosed the problem and had our AC working a short time after he arrived. This is our second time working with Neal Heating & AC and we recommend them to anyone looking for a great Heating and AC company.

We had researched several companies when we decided to replace our original a/c units (15+ years!) and the decision points for us with Neals Heating and AC is their timely responsiveness and wealth of knowledge of their products and the industry. It was also important for us to get this done before things start heating up again. Other companies were experiencing supply chain issues and/or offered similar products at a higher price. Neals Heating and AC informed me of every detail of work that theyd do and why, walked me through their installation process, and answered all random impromptu questions I had. They also provided good and better case scenarios and were sensitive to our aggressive timeline. That said, installation was seamless and quick, less than a day! Highly recommend if youre new to this process like I was; I feel the attention and care that they gave to this project is worth it.

Today I had our first need for service. It was amazing ! Here we are in the middle of record temps and because we had bought the system from Neals, we are preferred customers. Arturo was at my house and my system was up and running only 8 hours after I spoke with Chris; and BTW: Chris actually answered the phone at 6 a.m. it just made me feel like they were really concerned and looking out for us. Many people need to wait days for service.So, that was the updated post. Why ? Well : in the past I was a long term and very firm customer of a large HVAC company , but after having interacted with Chris Neal I realized that I had been missing the element of personalization and direct contact with the company owner. Another consideration is that when you deal with a very large service company you are also usually going to deal with a little less quality control and a little more expenses . It made a big difference to me to be able to speak with the owner of the company. The fact that he is responsive and knowledgeable is a huge plus as well . They were recommended to me by a friend when I was looking for estimates on replacing my 22 year old AC system, and they ended up pricing out at 1/2 to 1/3 of what the larger companies in the area quoted. Our AC unit seemed to be having some problems with keeping up with this years Texas summer heat. We called one company out and they assessed our unit (which is only about 7 years old) and told us we needed to replace the entire unit.Not taking that at face value we called Neals and they came out free of charge and told us that there was quite literally nothing wrong with the unit, that it was working as it should - its just overly hot out. With that they saved us a huge cost we didnt actually need.That was the first experience with Neals which made our next AC requirement needs an easy pick for who to go with.Our unit very recently began to shake and vibrate, and sounded like something was terribly wrong. We called Neals back and they responded extremely quickly and had Arturo out the next morning to assess the issue.He very quickly told us what the issue was (fan blower and motor), gave us an honest quote, and told us what we might expect the unit to do.A day later the unit unfortunately went out (Arturo sait it might), and we approved the quote. Neals again very quickly responded and put us on their schedule for the next morning.Their schedule became a little backed up the day of service, but Neals was transparent and apologetic about it. At one point it seemed like we would not get the unit fixed until the beginning of the week.Fortunately Arturo found the time and made us a priority! He showed up ready to make us happy, had a consistent positive and friendly attitude and demeanor, stayed around to verify the work was done, that there were no other outstanding issues, and that we were getting cool air again.On the way out he thanked us numerous times, saying I appreciate you!.That is a company who cares about their customers!Neals has won us over as the only company we will be using for any and all future AC needs.

One of our HVAC units stopped working, 22 years old so we knew it was just a matter of time. Neals team came by the next day and helped us to determine the best options for our home. I’ve used these guys over the past 7 years for repairs and a total replacement. I always get quick service and the technicians (Arturo especially!) are awesome, always explaining exactly what the problem is and what they are doing to fix it. When I had my furnace and ac replaced they were considerably less than the other guys for a larger unit and they were in an out in a few hours. Before I replaced everything Chris took the time to explain which units were best for our house and why. I’m always curious and I love that they will always take the time to answer questions and explain everything.

Chris and his team are truly professional AC installers. He inspected our two ACs when we bought the house 2 years ago and recommended that one needed to be replaced and the other should last about 2 years more. My ACs evaporator coil went out on the inside unit(or so I thought) . I had 2 AC companies come out and both confirmed it was the inside unit. With this confirmed diagnosis I called multiple AC companies to get more quotes over the phone for the repair. Neal’s AC was by far the best price. When Chris and his team came out to repair they discovered the other companies diagnosis was wrong. The other companies didn’t pressurize the system to detect where the leak was coming from. It was the outside unit that had a leak in the coil and the inside coil was most likely ok. They gave me quotes on replacing the outside coil and also getting a whole new unit. Our unit is 14 years old so we decided to replace. The cost for a new unit with Neals was still better on price than any other company we got quotes from. Now I see why they have all the great reviews.Our install is next week but so far I would recommend to anyone!

I called Neal’s when 13 years old condenser unit failed on Thursday by Saturday afternoon I had a completely new system (aside from ductwork and copper lines). I called Neals AC for service based on Nextdoor mentions. Jesse from Neals arrived on time (actually a few minutes early) after sending me a text that he was on the way. Jesse was polite and very knowledgeable. He carefully explained everything he recommended and did to my AC system. Neals is small, and can probably keep their overhead low. Even accounting for that, Neals prices are amazingly reasonable. Very low, in fact. Most importantly, they are very upfront and ethical--a rarity these days. They have won us as a customer for life.

I came to Neals after a not-so-good interaction with another HVAC repair/installation company. Neals sent out someone to give me information on my current system and gave me multiple quotes based on what I wanted to do.After accepting their quote, they came out on a Saturday morning (I had been without heat since that Monday and temperatures were dropping into the 20s). Had several issues arise after a technician hired by my home warranty co installed improperly-sized equipment in my unit. Called Chris at Neal’s after dealing with 4 different incompetent techs after the improper install - not one of the reported any issues with the improperly-sized coil. Chris’ team member Arturo found the issue quickly and after discussion amongst Chris and Arturo, it was determined that my system needed to be replaced due to the improper install wreaking havoc on the rest of the system. When I looked up symptoms of an improperly-sized coil, all the symptoms showed what I was dealing with for over a month. I quickly scheduled the install after Chris gave me a very reasonable price quote. The guys were on-time, polite and professional, and very conscientious about my home and clean-up after, and the final cost was just as Chris quoted - no hidden fees tacked on last minute. And best of all, my new system is running great, my house feels like a much-loved igloo, and all rooms are running the same temp - no more uneven temps and scorching 2nd floor, even my office which always ran hotter even before the improper coil install is at the same desired temp as rest of house. My wife and I looked into several companies and none of them had the same reviews as Neals. Starting with the price we were pleased and surprised. No price gouging over here and significantly less expensive then other options. Moving on to the installation. I had business to take care of in New York and our AC unit was down so my wife was forced to be home alone when the unit was installed. My wife told me that the technicians were fastidious and constantly cleaned up behind themselves so that there was never any mess anywhere. As a husband and father it is uncomfortable to leave your family in a situation where other unknown people will be working in your home. My wife also told me that they were extremely respectful. They did not even use the restroom which was right on the other side of the hallway from the installation point without asking for her permission. This company is definitely doing things the right way. We are recommending them to everybody we know.LOL last night I actually had to get up out of bed and turn the AC temperature up a little bit my house was cold like an icebox! Fantastic.This is an update I have had the AC unit for some time now and recently it stopped working. A technician was at my house the same day and diagnosed what was wrong and got it running again in just a few minutes. Today one week later when the new part arrived they returned to install it and my AC is back to 100%

We’ve had a great experience and highly recommend working with AC by Chris. We initially called them to look at our unit in the spring. They were extremely honest that they suspected our 17 year old unit would not last much longer and suggested saving for a new unit. They spent a good hour going over the unit and explained all of the issues. They did not charge us for the evaluation.4 months later in the middle of the summer heat, sure enough our unit gave out on a Friday night. Chris had his crew out to see the unit that same evening. They said they could replace the compressor and that would get us cold air for the time being, however we decided to just replace the entire unit since our system was so old. Update 3-12-24. We were hearing a whining noise everytime our unit came on. Just wanted it checked out to be sure it didn’t mean something was about to happen. Arturo came out right away and checked it out. Fortunately all is ok and looks like it’s just our filter is too thick. Go figure. But took out the filter and he increased the rpm on the unit and it solved the problem. Continued 5 star service!!!! Thanks Arturo and Chris!!!Update 7-17-2023… downstairs AC went out yesterday. Neal’s came out today and reviewed the system and told us wires were fried as in burnt!! Eeek!! And it’s was pulling 36 AMOS. OUCH!! And the condenser is bad and recommended to shut it down as it’s now dangerous for possible fire (thanks crazy temps and old system). We reviewed a quote they had given us back in Oct of 22 and he kept the price even though the system had new models numbers and went up in price. Now that’s service!!! Did expect the increase and was pleasantly surprised by his offer. I can’t say enough about this company and our tech Arturo is great and has been with them for years!!! Chris was absolutely great. My tenants notified me the A/C was having issues Saturday evening so I went over Sunday and switched the thermostat myself to see if that was the problem (it wasn’t) so I sent Chris a message Sunday expecting to hear back Monday because it was Father’s Day Sunday, but he responded right away and got me scheduled for Tuesday but AC completely stopped working at that point so I asked if he could squeeze me in the next day on Monday and he did. My tenants text me to let me know he was there so I headed over (I’m less than 10min away) and when I arrived he was already getting ready to leave because he quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue before I even arrived. It was a clogged drain and a blown fuse from my missing the second breaker in the garage before switching the thermostat. Very fair price, even quoted me on new ductwork before he left (also fair price) and I’ll be using him for yearly maintenance on all our homes as that price it great and his service/quality is even better. Rare find these days, truly blessed to have happened upon his info online, I trusted all his great reviews and sure glad I did.

He really took his time to explain everything and tried to teach me something about our unit! I just got a genuine good feeling about the man that was in my house. Anyway we ended up needing a new system and I wasnt able to be home when they installed it. My brother was there let them in and they did amazing work. So fast and efficient. Im a little disappointed wasnt able to meet Chris in person but he is amazing. He texted me a picture of the new unit then called me and explained everything they did and was very thorough. I am very happy and pleased with the entire process! And our new unite is working great!

On Thursday I started my A/C for the first time this season and ... it just ran and ran, never cooling the house. I work from home so theA/C is especially important for me. On top of that, a record heat wave was headed this way. I needed emergency help right away and time was short. My sister and her husband recommended Chris to me in the most glowing terms so I gave him a call. He was at my home 1 hour later to review the problem. He clearly explained the issues and options. Within minutes we had a plan and a rough estimate. In my case complete replacement with a modern unit made the most sense ... one that uses the new coolant and is slightly larger than the one the builder had installed 8 years earlier. On Saturday morning at 10 AM Chris crew arrived to remove the old unit and install the new one. They were super quick, knowledgeable, courteous, and tidy. Chris arrived at the site when installation work began to ensure all was well and he had the team adjust the original duct installation, which had not been done correctly by the builder and was pinching off airflow to the back of the house. By 2 pm my home was cool and all was well. The job was done super fast, extremely well, and for the price quoted.I honestly could not have asked for more. Its rare when someone exceeds expectations to this degree. Chris is the best!

Arturo and team were professional and courteous. Before the work started, I explained to Arturo that the airflow in my home was not consistent…some rooms were colder than others. He understood and was able to reconfigure the ductwork to allow a better and more balanced airflow. I was impressed with the workmanship of the installation, both on the indoor and outdoor units. A few months ago, had some problems with the old HVAC system and called the Neals team come out to look at it. After they reviewed the issue and possible resolutions, I decided itd be better to replace the entire HVAC system instead of repairing since it was old and inefficient and the summer was fast approaching.The team quoted me a very competitive price for a complete replacement fully installed while onsite and then came out THE NEXT DAY to install the whole thing. Took a few hours to install (and even came with some brand new thermostats) and everything looks and runs great, couldnt have been happier with their service and attitude.Fast forward until yesterday, I had a problem with the HVAC system where the drip pan was filling up and causing some water to drip into the plenum and ultimately down a light fixture in the ceiling. I emailed Neals last night and they came out first thing the next morning. Not only did they solve the problem with surgical precision (a backed up overflow drain due to a clogged sink in a teenagers bathroom - because, of course) but they ran a check to make sure the rest of the system was performing optimally after clearing the overflow drain.As luck would have it, there was not permanent water damage as it was caught minutes after it happened and after a quick cleanup using a towel, you couldnt even tell there was a problem.I cant tell you how relieved and thankful I am for the whole Neals team (shoutout to Arturo for being on time and a diligent pro) as their work has been top notch across the board. I wont use anyone else going forward for any HVAC needs, they have earned my business.

Finally! An AC Company I can trust. I called on a Sunday and left a message. He returned my call the very next morning and we scheduled an appointment for that same day. After looking at our system, he gave us 4 different options with prices so we could determine which would best serve our needs. Absolutely no pressure and so sale tactics! We decided to replace our entire system. His prices are extremely reasonable! We scheduled the install for 2 days later. He arrived on time with a great crew and was finished by lunch. He took the time to show and explain to me what was wrong with our previous system and how the last company we hired, AC Express, totally messed up our system. He answered all my questions and even set up my new programmable thermostat. The workmanship is incredible and I cant get over how well our new system is working. It feels like were living in a new house! He also discovered why our house was so humid during the winter! He fixed problems I didnt even know we had! Call this guy, you wont regret it!

First, I would like to say it was nice to speak to the owner of the company instead of a dispatcher when I called. His knowledge and recommendations were spot on as when they removed my AC unit it was solid ice.Second, the crew that was sent to replace my entire unit ( inside, outside and installed the nest) were phenomenal. These two guys were absolutely amazing, polite, respectful and extremely professional throughout the entire process and even helped me set up the nest to my phone and internet.I could not have been happier with the service provided and highly recommend them to anyone with any AC concerns.

Highly recommend! Installers were, respectful, knowledgeable and punctual. They did a fantastic job. Local company with quality service and quality AC unit. Chris and his installers answered ever question or concern we had. Four and a half hours later we had a new unit inside and out. Area around the AC and inside the house were left clean. After reading the reviews, I gave Chris a call to fix my AC unit that was cooling sometimes and not others. Brian arrived and he was awesome. Quickly diagnosed the problem as a bad capacitor and fixed it within 30 minutes...amazing. I highly recommend them to anyone.
