Roland C. from McWilliams came to our home to take care of a few plumbing issues. We had him install a new garbage disposal (see photo) and fix a leaky hose bib (see before and after photos). He was wonderful. He was very professional and answered all our questions. I like the communication tools used by McWilliams via email and text to remind us of our appointment and let us know who is is coming to the house and when he will arrive.

When a sudden leak threatened to cause serious damage to my home, I called McWilliams Heating, Cooling and Plumbing. They responded quickly, and the technician arrived on time, fully equipped to handle the problem. He diagnosed the leak efficiently and repaired it with precision, preventing further damage. I appreciated his clear explanations and the thoroughness of his work. While he was here, I also discussed my concerns about water quality, and he provided valuable insights into whole home water filtration. I was so impressed with his knowledge and the quality of their products that I’ve scheduled McWilliams to install a complete filtration system. From the initial leak repair to the upcoming installation, McWilliams has demonstrated exceptional professionalism and expertise. Im confident in their ability to deliver excellent service and would recommend them to anyone needing reliable plumbing and water treatment solutions.

I worked with a number of people at McWilliams, Noah, J.R., Joyce, Savanah, Eli, Juan and John, Weston and the subcontractor for excavating under our house. All were very professional, courteous and patient with me and my wife, answering our concerns that come along with any construction project. The job only took 3 days from start to finish in weather that was challenging to say the least from almost freezing temps to rain. The sub took great care in capturing all the material removed from tunneling under our house to protect it from the weather and did a fine job cleaning up the construction area at the end of their work. McWilliams is a vet friendly company and I for one appreciate that. They were open to my suggestions as the home owner and former contractor. All around good people. I gave them four stars only because I never give anyone five stars, but it was a very high four.....kudos to the whole team.

I highly recommend McWilliams Heating, Cooling & Plumbing! This past year they replaced a A/C coil, kitchen faucet, toilet, repaired an outdoor water leak. Each of the technicians did an outstanding job. I also appreciate the ladies who answered my telephone calls. Service was scheduled quickly, notified me when a technician was on the way, and afterwards checked to verify I was satisfied with the service. Thanks to everyone for the excellent service.

McWilliams and Son is an excellent plumbing company. Their work is excellent and complete. I didn’t have to do a thing except make the call to their service. Their technicians came to my home and did a superb job. I am extremely pleased with their attention to detail and the timely manner in which they completed the job. I would hire them again in an instant.

Needed a plumber - no water in a condo we just bought. Everything seemed fine on my side of the meter. Tech said it may be a bad meter. Unhooked it to see if anything looked wrong inside it and found a surprise. There was a nickel in the meter. Previous owner had broken the lock-out loops on the meter so someone at the city jammed a nickel in the line to prevent him from having water. Nickel removed, water flowing. He could have replaced e a bunch of parts but instead said, here’s the problem, you’re good to go.Honest service company. Highly recommend!

Eli was on time, knowledgeable and shared some information with me, since Im new to owning a house. My water concern wasnt anything to worry about, and as an unexpected bonus, he fixed the faucet and toilet flapper in one bathroom. Excellent service.

The service itself was satisfactory and appeared to be completely aligned with our landlords requests, so no issues there. However, the communication from this company was quite disappointing. On two separate occasions, appointments were scheduled without any prior consultation with us, which caused significant inconvenience for both my husband and me during our work hours.

They show up when they say they will, their services are fairly priced for the level of quality that you receive, and their customer service is second to none. I am 100% comfortable recommending them to any friend or family member. I know that this review may strike some of the more jaded of Internet people as maybe too good to be true, but I am a real person and I’m here to tell you that my experiences with McWilliams have been overwhelmingly positive. You cannot go wrong choosing them.Original review: I could not be more pleased with the job that Daniel did! He was very personable, professional, and thorough. He explained everything in language even I could understand, and, most importantly, he fixed our A/C! Will definitely be calling these folks the next time we have A/C issues.

Great technition came out the same day we called, he explained what the problem was very well, we are pleased with this company.

Herman was the HVAC tech that did the annual inspection and maintenance of our unit. He was very methodical and meticulous and he explained everything that he was doing. He checked every aspect of the attic unit and the outside unit, checking all electrical connections and components and verified that the drain line was clean and he cleaned the coils on the condenser unit and checked the Freon. He did an excellent job!

Second update: A manager contacted me to see how they could improve their service. He was pleasant to speak with and took everything seriously. He also refunded the charges for the previous visit. I appreciate his commitment to making things right and developing his staff. I hope this carries through to improved service for future clients. This greatly improved the overall experience.Update: A local competitor came today, correctly identified the problem, and solved it -- all in less time than McWilliams spent doing nothing productive.Noah spent more time putting together an outrageous bid and giving an overbearing, high-pressure sales pitch than he did inspecting the issue. He was hesitant to even discuss lower cost options and left with no improvement for the problem. Paying hundreds for a sales pitch and no service is a very poor experience overall. Ill seek other options and will not consider further business with McWilliams. Generously, 2 stars for going under the house, as that barely makes up for for truly poor the sales tactics were.

Derrick was the technician that assisted me today and his customer service skills are Top Notch. He clearly explained what was going to happen, gave options for prices, and did exactly what he said he was going to do. Not only is he knowledgeable, he set expectations and exceeded them. He truly cares for the customer and he should get a raise! Will definitely do business with them in the future! Will follow up once repairs are completed.

An employee from McWilliams and son in Huntsville Tx came on Aug 20, 2024 to unclog my outside sewer line and said it’s a belly at the end which will need fixing but he cleared everything and it will last a few months until I get it fixed but a week later it did it again and now they refuse to fix it without me paying another $500 which is ridiculous. It should have been fully cleared and it wasn’t. I will not use them again!!

It was such an amazing experience using these plumbers compared to other big names in town. Truly wonderful work.

Love doing business with these folks!! When I need my A/C and furnace repaired or just my simi-annual maintenance done it is always easy to get the service time I need because they work well with me to schedule at a convenient time. My service tech, Justin Ross is always on time and does a fantastic job on my unit and lets me know what if anything needs attention on my unit. I always receive e-mails letting me know when it is time to schedule my checkups and inspections making it easy to make sure each season that all my equipment is working optimal performance. Try them I think you will be very pleased with the experience.

I have been using this company prior to the merger and the quality has stayed Outstanding as the same people are still with them. CU, the McWilliams technician, was extremely thorough. He was very congenial and polite.

These plumbers are very knowledgeable, and they are truly on call. We have used them multiple times and they are honest and very clear, with up front pricing and expectations. When you have an emergency off hours, its nice to know that these plumbers are still on duty.

My water heater was leaking and they did the repair quickly and worked with my work schedule. J.R. was great. My old one was full of calcium and wouldnt drain but he got the old one out! He is a very nice person.

Jonathan was Fantastic the company sent us tracking info so we could see where he was he was Very knowledgeable, Professional and Courteous he Examined our unit outside and up in the Attic he explained everything that he was doing and what need to be done he listened well and was very Polite he had our unit up and running within and 30 minutes .

Robert did a great job fixing our copper pipe that burst during the winter storm and also fixed a bathroom faucet. He was professional and repaired the needed items quickly and accurately. We also had great communication with the office staff scheduling and leading up to the visit. Great job!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Called McWilliams to fix a bathtub drain. They came over to look at it, and said they would find the part and call us back the next day. They charged us for the visit. A week later I called them and they said they would get back to us. For 2 more weeks there was back and forth with no real answers. They finally said they had the part and scheduled an appointment. We took off work to meet them only for them to call us and tell us they don’t actually have the part and basically say we are on our own. This is all after we signed a 1 year contract with them to be “priority customers” and whatever else it comes with and to be told that they can’t fix it. We haven’t heard from them since. So we called Affordable plumbing and they came over, found a drain on Amazon immediately (didn’t charge us for the initial visit) and then fixed it right away once the part came in. Save yourself the trouble and use Affordable Plumbing.

I called with a specific problem, outdoor hose spigot leaking. I wastold it is an $80 flat fee, no hourly costs, plus parts. I said Ifigured I needed a new spigot since its 20+ years old, so please putone on the truck. She said they always have them with them. The ladynever said any more about additional costs. She should have told me.When the tech got here, he quoted me an additional $562 would be neededto replace the spigot (hose bib). And in the description it saysreplace commercial or frost proof hose bib by removing entire hose biband installing new one. If the hose bib is a sweat on hose bib and tooclose to the brick wall add water line difficulty to this price as manytimes as it takes to cover the extra work needed to access a clean pipeto install new hose bib on.They sent me a text asking my feedback, so I called and was told that it isnt an hourly cost, just a regular costto anyone to replace. Why didnt she tell me that on the phone before Ihad to pay a mandatory $80 to hear it in person? Plus, this is not acommercial fix, it is my home!! AND, the description says if its moretrouble than they expect, they will charge me more!! OMG!I feel like I was deceived. If they had told me there was a standard charge forreplacing the spigot, I wouldnt have even had them come out. I willnever ever use these people again and will advise my friends as well.Marilyn C 2-23-23 UPDATE:I hired a handyman who replaced the washer in the spigots stem that goes in the wall. A $2 part. He did it in lessthan 30 minutes, including chat time. I happily paid him $50 which wasmore than he was asking for the job.MORAL OF THE STORY: Read all thereviews before choosing and shop around.

I had a back flow water valve installed this morning by J R the plumber from McWilliams and Son and a Plumber. J R is one of the nicest, most mannerable and intelligent men I know. He sat down with me to explain all its parts and how this valve works. I cant say enough great things about J R. I thank McWilliams for sending him to do such a wonderful job in this very hot weather. Great company, JR came out worked his tail off trying to fix the problem four 2 hours. He told me what was wrong and he didnt have the equipment on him to fix the issue. I called my Mudd district and they fixed it because JR told me it was on them. They did this free of charge. While 2 other companies in Huntsville Said at least $400-$500 if we go in with cameras fixed or not.

My servicemen, Jody L. was very professional and explained everything as he worked. He informed me of other services and deals that McWilliams offered that may interest me. Overall a great experience!

Noel is a very nice and knowable person. He lets you know that what needs to be done to fix the problem he help us to get set up with a payment plan and stayed until it was finish so far my husband and I are very pleased

We had been with no hot water or pressure for a week trying to fix the issue ourselves. Finally called The Plumber to come take a look. Robert came out gave us different options because the water heater was leaking and fuses had been burnt out. We decided to get a new water heater .. it was delivered and set up within a couple hours!! Price was good and Robert was very friendly :) Thank you!

Gas Line Repair. JR repaired the leak and replaced the corroded gas line pipes. Tested the repair for pressure into the house and field line. New lines held steady pressure into the house and from the field lines as required. Excellent job and service by JR.

Our water heater is located in the attic of a two-story house. The access is via a 25 X 34 door located 8 off the floor. The guys from The Plumber removed the old water heater and replaced it; a very challenging job.After they left, I found water in the water heater drain plan and I thought that the new water heater was leaking. After some investigation I found that whoever installed the first water heater had connected the air conditioner condensate drain line to the water heater pan drain. When the new water heater was installed the pan drain line got moved just enough that the AC condensate water flowed into the pan instead of going down the drain.The Plumber made a second trip and corrected the problem caused by the improper AC P trap and drain line installation without charge even though the problem was caused by someone else.The Plumber listened to my concerns and paid attention to my request to use an Air-Trap in place of the P trap in the condensate drain line. The Air-Trap became available in 2014 and it a much better solution than a P trap because P traps dry out in the winter which renders them useless for keeping sewer gas out of the HVAC system.I highly recommend The Plumber.

Initial confusion on a quote for a water heater replacement. There is a $799 minimum, not including the water heater? $1200 overall??? Got it done for $200 somewhere else. Being a disabled veteran on a fixed income, every cent counts...Lol
