Deerwood Air Conditioning and Heating

Weve worked very happily with Deerwood Air Conditioning and Heating for several years now! Their service is amazing! Theyre always responsive to whatever our a/c and heating situation is. They kept our old air conditioning unit running for several years, were happy with the new air conditioning unit purchased from them 2 years ago, theyre accommodating working with our schedule, the annual a/c & furnace check- ups are carefully completed. Were grateful for the recommendation we received many years ago to call Deerwood AC & Heating!

I contacted Deerwood Air Conditioning & Heating for a free in home estimate as they advertise and also have a coupon on the site for use. However, when the tech came he presented an invoice for an estimate. I reminded him of their coupon and he got upset and began stating I told the staff I wanted them to fix my AC when I scheduled. I had no idea what the issue was and would not agree to a repair before 1) knowing what the issue is 2) how much it would cost? He left a quote for $3175 (evaporator coil), which I had to decide to order before Friday when the costs would go higher? This company is false advertising and has rude staff and owner. The next day, I called Deerwood AC to inquire about the Ad and the female employee I spoke with, immediately got defensive and said, we dont want YOUR business, then hung up the phone with NO FURTHER explanation. I called back and a male answered the phone, he identified himself as John, the owner. I asked for his last name, since we are not on first name basis and he immediately responded, YOU dont need to know that. The staff and owner are rude and they dont honor their advertisement. It appears to me, Deerwood Air Conditioning & Heating has enough business and they do not need mine as the female clearly stated before she hung up in my face. I do not recommend Deerwood A/C & Heat, as everyone I encountered made it clear they do not value potential customers.

I can sum this company up in two words, integrity and honesty. Last night my AC went out and I contacted them first thing this morning. They were at my home within the hour and after some simple conversation they were able to quickly pinpoint the problem. They easily could have lined their pockets buy bait and switch and trying to sell me a whole unit. They gave me realistic expectations and were honest and upfront. If you are having problems with your AC or your heat units I would definitely give this company a call for the value of the service it was tremendous. It is rather refreshing to find somebody that still has values and ethics and does a good job and charges a fair price.

Recently had these guys out and had service done with a few new parts. Zero complaints. The guys that came out were prompt professional friendly etc ****answered my questions too in terms i could understand...I have no idea if pricing is fair only because I didnt call anyone else to compare.. left my dad here with them while they were working so I could get back to my office. VERY happy with their service

DONT USE DEERWOOD!! We had our ducts replaced along with a new AC unit. Deerwood did it and afterwards it failed inspection by inspector because it wasnt to code. Deerwood would never return my calls or address the substandard work they did. But they took my money.We have used Madd Air ever since. Love them. Great prices and they stand behind their work. Great customer service too!!

Not pleased. This company sent someone immediately and did work with my schedule so that was a plus. But the rate to come out was higher than the other places in my area. I paid more for coolant than I should have and after multiple visits, the technician still didnt have a reason or solution for why the AC kept freezing up. He did tell me that if I needed to replace the unit it would cost over $7000. I called another company and they came out same day, diagnosed the issue in 10 min and fixed it in less than 30 min for less than what I had paid this company. Also I got a quote to replace in case that becomes a future issue and they were 2k less. Im a single mom and now Ive paid twice to get my AC fixed. I should have done my research.

First timer . Service was quick and fast . Within minutes a electrician was sent to take care of the problem. Chris is the best . Took care of the problem

I have used Deerwood for over 7 years for my home and referred to them to dozens of friends and businesses. They are the number one company here in Kingwood to go to for Air Conditioning help. You get quality help and service at a fair price.

To all of my Kingwood neighbors please be aware of this company. The company told us the AC unit was too large for the home, they also said everything would be fine. They NEVER mentioned the side effects and consequences of having too large of an AC unit. WE NOW HAVE WATER LEAKS THROUGHOUT MOST OF OUR HOME!! My advice would be to not just trust companies seen everyday in our neighborhood, but too trust reviews and ratings. I give this company one star for poor quality and service.

Just got a new A/C unit and my ductwork replaced by Deerwood. This is the most professionally installed A/C unit I have ever seen!!! Everything is neat and tidy, no jumbles of ductwork everywhere, no pipes laying around, and they cleaned everything up meticulously when complete. I can not give a strong enough recommendation!!! Thank you Deerwood!!!

If this review had been done in May, June or July this company would have received five stars but I believe that major events bring out the best and worst in people and companies. This company has put in 5 ac units in my home and rentals, and at least 3 heating units. This has been over a 15-20 year relationship. I was always happy with them and even had one of the owners cell. Things changed with the flood. The ac unit that they put in my own home had had problems from the beginning but with patience they got it fixed over a couple of years. Some inconvenience was experienced but this is life and things happen. This problem was with the pan that would frequently over flow. During the strom this pan had an issue again and so I got water damage from the attic through the second floor to the first. There are chunks of ceiling missing. In short things got wet because of this that did not have to be wet. They came out when called and at least got it so I could sort of use the ac but the plumber needed to unplug a drain. The plumber came within a week. I reached out to Deerwood sept 16th to please come finish fixing this pan so I could use the a/c. I was trying to live here and prevent mold, clean out wet stuff etc. I did not get anyone to come out until October 6 th. It literally took them 15 minutes to fix the problem. I reached out to deerwood this week because now my heater is not working. I was on the fence about using them again and when the day and time they had did not work I said let me call back. The lady said she wanted to ask me if I received their invoice, I am guessing because I always pay in full immediately. I told her that since they were not in a hurry to get to me, I was not in a hurry to pay the bill. She does not ask me why I am upset, she tells me that she can not make me stay with deerwood but can I please pay that invoice. I was astonished. This is what years of being a loyal customer will get you over a 154.00 bill. BTW the last unit I bought was in May. Paid in full immediately over 6,000.

Awesome service. Identified issue with A/C and quickly fixed for a fair price. They also came out same day.... surprising since this is August! Very happy.
