My downstairs A/C unit wasnt cooling properly and Travis came out to check on it. It was low on Freon so he filled it up and everything works properly. One month later the upstairs unit started blowing warm air so I called Cruz Air & Electric and asked for Travis to come check it out. He arrived on time the next day and tried to get it fixed, but the unit was 26 years old, so I decided to get it replaced. He quoted me a fair price for a new unit and his crew did a great job of installing. Travis came by after the installation to check on everything and was very professional and helpful. The unit is working great and I highly recommend Travis and Cruz Air & Electric if you have any A/C problems.

The Cruz’s have installed two generac generators in our last two homes. The one we are in now worked for 7 days straight. He even gave me some pointers on what to do after it ran for a couple days and how to keep it cool. If you need a trustful company, and will educate you on the products- these are your guys! Family owned and operated! Get with these guys for one asap- do not wait for the next time it’s needed.

For the installation of a generator, Cruz Air was highly recommended by a neighbor. Our questions and concerns were addressed thoroughly. The quote was comprehensive and received in a timely manner. Cruz Air managed the process professionally, were courteous and patient with educating us regarding the use of the generator. We are extremely grateful to Adam and his crew and appreciate they are locally owned and operated.

Disappointed in Service Cruz installed my generator about 1.5 yrs ago. The Tech returned to install the Mobile Link device a few months later but there was an issue with my Internet not being strong enough. I called to tell him it was no longer running the weekly test and he assured me I might just be missing it. Well, he finally showed up to check it and admitted he didnt reset it to run the weekly test.. for 10 months. Hadnt really needed it until Hurricane Beryl. I called on the second day to let them know I needed the initial maintenance, included in the contract, because it was running continuously. Finally, got maintenance scheduled for Friday, according to Phoebe. Their HVac tech showed up with a bottle of oil, and after 5 minutes said he was done and it would be $195! I told him my contract calls for full maintenance, complimentary, after 25 hrs. He didnt know anything about it and said he was told to bring the oil. NEVER did the office say we dont have time for maintenance but can bring you a bottle of oil for $195! I didnt pay it and would have cancelled the call bc my power came back on Wed evening, the end of the 3rd day. I am so disappointed in Cruz/CGC. The price of the generator was better than other proposals I recd but their customer service is terrible!!!

I had Cruz electric come install an EV plug for my vehicle last year. The team was professional, on time, and cleaned up the area better than they left it. Now with the recent power outage, I will be reaching out for their service on installing a standby generator.

I replaced my 22 year old HVAC units last November. Cruz Air & Electric did a great job but the real hero was Travis Blackwell. He spent several hours reviewing options for the new units and answering lots of technical questions. I ended up with the Trane variable speed system which is operating flawlessly and very economical with electricity. Travis came here at the start of the AC season and did a complete check to make sure everything was set up properly. He is extremely personable and delivers on everything he sells. Couldnt ask for a better technician and trusted HVAC advisor.

This is probably the most punctual company I have ever worked with. Travis is the nicest and most honest. He carefully explained the details and our options to my partner and me. We were able to finance a new unit. Although, I was disappointed the new drain pan was cracked by the employees at the time of the installment, Travis was quick to ask Diana to call me so that we could schedule a time to replace it. No damage was caused to the our home and our concerns were validated, so that is why they still get 5 stars from me. Seriously, they are incredible.

Once again Cruz Air responded very quickly to my weekend call and did not charge an after hours fee, just the normal service fee. I would highly recommend Dylan and Cruz Air. Aug 2023Dylan with Cruz Air really helped us out! We called early on a hot June Sunday afternoon because our AC was not working. Dylan had arrived at our house in less than an hour!! And because we called before 5pm on Sunday, we were only charged the normal service fee, not an emergency fee! I would highly recommend Cruz Air, we have used them for years and they have always provided great service!!

Excellent service! We have used Cruz for almost 15 years. Dylan among others on his team are excellent professionals and always very timely for his inspection service appointments. We have never been charged for unnecessary repairs and they recently replaced both AC units and Heating units and thermostats. They have also repaired and detected a carbon monoxide leak in our prior heater units. Everyone needs to get heaters inspected annually- it saves lives!! Highly recommend Cruz for both heating and cooling appointments. They are a trusted company that has serviced the Kingwood/ humble area for many years.

After I tried installing a smart thermostat, my air conditioner stopped working. I called Cruz Air & Electric the next morning and made an appointment for that afternoon. Travis was able to resolve the issue and install both thermostats in a timely manner. He was professional, courteous and even cleaned up after himself. They are honest and reliable.Our technician, Dylan Pesnell, was prepared to add 4 plus pounds of Freon-which as you know has skyrocketed at $210.00 per pound.He checked a couple things and told us it wasn’t leaking and full!Coils were clogged! Called them for my problem, they said someone was coming. Hours went by. I called again, again they said someone is on there way. No one ever came. No call no show. Will not call again. Ive used Cruz Air and Electric for the past few years for service on my AC and Heating unit. Theyve never pressured me to get a new AC, however this summer my AC decided I needed a new one. I went straight to Cruz and had them come out and see what was going on. Their technician, Travis, let me know what I could do to nurse along my AC, however indicated it would need to be replaced in the very near future. When I asked for a quote he was able to give me several options and was able to answer all my questions. We set a date and my new AC was installed. The installation team did an amazing job. Quick, efficient and they cleaned up the mess they made. The installation tech, Dylan, and his team did a fantastic job.I was offered a 5-year, interest free, loan to help pay for the AC/Heating unit. I also received a 10-year 100% covered service that is transferrable.Since the install, I have used Cruz to blow in additional insulation in my attic, to help the new AC be more efficient.I cannot tell you how happy I am with the service and products provided by Cruz Air & Electric. They will continue to receive my business and I will recommend them to anyone that may ask.Great job everyone!!!

Our A/C wasnt blowing cold. I called Cruz air after reading some of the reviews. The HVAC manager Travis showed up and with in about 15 minutes he knew exactly what was wrong. I was a little skeptical. Travis hooked his gauges back up and very professionally walked me through it. Very professional ,very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. After giving me few different options I decided to purchase a whole brand new unit. They installed the unit very quickly with absolutely no complaints. Cruz air & electric now has a new life long customer. Thank you Travis for your hard work.

This was a great experience all round. From Travis in sales, to Trenton and his crew in installation, these guys did a fantastic job. We were able to obtain no hassle financing, and within a couple of days everything was installed and working. I really appreciated the care they took during installation.....carpeting was covered carefully to protect against soiling and they made sure the clean-up afterward was perfect. I highly recommend them.

Excellent, prompt service! Assisted me with quickly scheduling a visit to perform a service inspection required for my home sale. Travis was out the next morning, assessed my situation and gave me options along with the cost estimates. He returned the next morning, replaced the part and had everything taken care of quickly. Travis is the same technician that took my call on Saturday evening, called me right back and came out on a Sunday morning last year when our A/C cratered-I was a new customer and called on the advice of a neighbor. I then had them replace our unit a couple of days later. All of my interactions with any of their employees have been positive-each time their team has been polite, friendly and professional.

Our A/C stopped working after a heavy rain last night, called Cruz Electric in the morning, Dylan came out on time the following morning and identified and repaired the issue very quickly. He was very friendly and explained the issue and how repairs were made. I’m glad we use Cruz Electric twice a year to service our HVAC system.

Called Cruz Air and Electric at 8AM hoping for a heating repair to be done quickly and with short notice.Tec (Travis B.) arrived at 9:45 AM within service window quoted. Travis quickly found multiple issues and corrected all problems. Parts were on the van, so no waiting for material. Travis cleaned up after repairs were completed. I have used Cruz Air and Electric before (whole house backup generator). Todays repair reinforced my decision to use Cruz Air and Electric once again. Over the last 30 years in kingwood I played roulette with HVAC companies. Finally about 5 years ago I settled on Cruz and have been getting great service. Had issues with upstairs unit. Dylan arrived same day, quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it.

Ask for a technician to come by my house and check on my air conditioner wasn’t cooling properly. Travis, looked at my air-conditioning clean the outside coils help me with some inside tips and squirted a little Freon in my system. Works perfect. Would recommend to anyone. Travis was an outstanding young man very professional look forward to using Cruz again.

Great Company for all your Heating and Cooling need. I had both my A/C and heat replaced April 14th and from the Service Tech Travis to the Installation crew you couldnt ask for a more professional and quality crew. They explained how every piece of equipment worked plus spent considerable time explaining the smart features of the new thermostat. I cant say enough of how great the service was.

All I can say is wow! Mr. Blackwell was very professional and courteous. Will definately use him again if we have an ac problem!

Absolute disappointment. I called this company because they had finance and were a big deal in Humble. I called on a Sunday and left my number with a call center. In a few hours, Travis Called me and he gave me quote over the phone on a brand new system which I needed and I knew this because I had another company diagnose the problem. I filled out the online credit App and was approved. Travis told me they would be here Monday morning 8-9 AM to do the work and complete it in 1 day. Monday at 8 am was a no-show. Monday morning I heard from the office who seem to have no idea on what was going on. The lady (who had no knowledge of the deal) explained to me that Travis has no business quoting prices over the phone and I couldnt count on the prices I was given. She said they would not be about to get to me til later for a quote. I called someone else and bought the AC from the. This company wasted my time and Travis made promises he didnt have the right or information to make. This company was recommended by my family member. No way to do Business! I think Cruz could be a good company but Travis dropped the ball and caused them to lose a $10,000 (or more) sale. And my home is still 90 degrees upstairs. Thanks for nothing.

I arrived home Tuesday evening to a very hot house and started calling all these so called 24/7 AC repair companies and finally got 3 to call back, I had all 3 give me a ball park figure what it would cost to come out now and Cruz was not the cheapest but after talking to Mr. Carlos I went with Cruz Air, it took him only 20 minutes to arrive we talked and he went straight to work, very professional and very well mannered. he explained to me what he thought it was and they could get right on it tomorrow, I explained about a daughter and baby staying and said I need cold air now, he explained the cost and told me that it might not work. Well it worked for that night and quit the next day so I have Mr. Carlos out there again today after I requested him because I felt he was honest and upfront right off the bat, I decided on the quick fix that didnt work so Mr. Carlos will hopefully have me up and running Friday when my Coil arrives, I will use Cruz for all my AC needs now. thank you for you professionalism and experience along with good scheduling. Lets work on cost.

2 very professional and clean cut gentlemen came out to service my downstairs AC unit and they were great! On time, courteous, & thorough with their assessment. Turns out all I needed was a fuse on my really really old AC unit. But...here’s the best part, they informed me they smelled gas outside the house. They told me to call Centerpoint and they came out and found an issue. Everything is great now and I’ll definitely be using Cruz again, when it’s time to replace this old grandpa ac unit. I appreciated their help and I’m relieved the gas line is fixed. Thanks guys!

I have had a service contract with the business for my standby generator for a few years. To help insure the generator works if the power goes out, they come out twice per year and perform preventive maintenance on the generator. At a time between service calls I noticed the generator would not start for its weekly test run. I contacted Cruz Air & Electric and asked them to come out and service the generator.After the technician had completed his work I was advised the fee would be $230.00 for a service call, plus $15.00 to replace a battery terminal. I offered to pay this fee immediately with a credit card as I was told earlier that day by an employee at Cruz Electric the technician had a device in his truck that would enable him to swipe a credit card. The technician stated I was misinformed and that he did not have a device to swipe a credit card. He stated not to worry, and the office would call me next week to ask for a credit card number.Two or three business days later I had not heard from Cruz Electric and wanted to call them to make sure they were paid for their work. I was told by an employee at Cruz Air & Electric they had not received an invoice from the technician and they would call me later that week. I received a call later that week and the amount was close to $100.00 more than what the technician said it would be.

Travis was excellent, he was able to fix the problem with my unit rather quickly. My son is paralyzed and cant get too hot so his timely repair was a blessing. We are very grateful.

The guys name that came over here his name was Travis and that was his crew. they came over here they started at 8 am and by 3:30PM they were done with the job. They picked up everything all the mess including the air ducks and the furnace and the compressor outside. My dad is very very very satisfied with the business and how quickly they did everything. It was a rainy day and they were still able to get everything done. At 8 am there was a big truck and 3 other cruz vehicle vans outside! Great work guys!

Ive been a loyal customer to Cruz Electric for the past six years, until now. My latest experience with them is that their service men are incompetent and not willing to go the extra mile to find the root of the problem, but would rather upsell you equipment that you dont need. Here is why my family will never use nor recommend Cruz Electric. My downstairs Unit quit working, so they sent Randy out. I paid the $85 service fee and he told me that my Nest thermostat was bad. I threw out the Nest thermostat, because Randy said it was faulty, and bought a $40 one from Lowes and put it in myself, and the AC worked for about two weeks before stopping. I called Cruz and they sent Randy out again. He told me that my transformer and circuit board needed replaced and there was no way my AC would run without it. He even put in one of their touch screen thermostats thinking that would solve the problem and never put mine back on. Then he gave me a quote for $1,055. I had another company come out the next day. Turns out a wire was shorting going to the outdoor unit. They fixed it and my downstairs AC works perfectly, and all I had to pay was their service fee. The following day I called Trent, the service manager, and explained to him how incompetent his service guy was and how I felt that I should be refunded my service fee as well as given a Nest thermostat since it wasnt faulty at all. He apologized and said he would call me back later that evening because he wanted to make it right. I never heard from him, and that day the service guy Randy came and picked up the touch screen thermostat and he left. Cruz Electric was not thorough and tried to charge me not only $1,055 for a transformer and circuit board just to get my system to run, as well as trying to sell me an entire new unit for $8,000, when that was entirely unnecessary. I will not use Cruz again nor ever recommend them.

I highly recommend this company. We called them out for a second opinion. Our a/c has not been working. The company that installed the a/c when the home was built told us it would be nearly $2,000.00 in labor to repair. Cruz Air & Electric sent Travis out to inspect it. He had the a/c working in less than 30 minutes for under $50! We learned our lesson. Only call Cruz Air & Electric.

The technician took over when the prior company failed ,miserably in installing our generator. He was very pleasant , knowledgeable, and professional; identified the problem and resolved it at a very reasonable price. Quite candidly he was better and less expensive; I regret not engaging Cruz initially and hence forth they will be the only company , not only on the top of the list, but the only ones on it!If they cant make you happy, youre unable to be pleased! I gladly recommend them to all...family and friends!

Omgosh we had Travis come out bc we thought we needed to get a new air conditioner like we had to 2 years ago but he looked at it & told us it could be fixed for a couple hundred dollars & in 2 days he had it fixed. I called Cruz Electric to come and determine what my electrical problem was. Adam came by was VERY professional and courteous. My problem was relatively small and easy to resolve. My house is almost 30 years old and the circuits cant handle the loads todays technology demands. I asked for a couple of extra circuits to be added to handle the extra load. I was promised that they would be back the next day. An emergency came up for them and I was put on the back burner and eventually I was asked if they could come back the next day first thing to do the work. It is a good thing my job allows me to be home like this. All in all, I like Cruz Electric and will use them again in the future. They are professional and honest, I can trust them not to sell work that is not needed if my wife needs them when I am not home. I still have other major work that needs to be done and they will be the first I call. They just need to work on what they promise and what they can do.

We purchased a Trane air conditioner and a generac generator from Cruz Air and Electric about 10 yrs. ago. We have had no problems with either one. They do maintenance on both at a reasonable rate. I just purchased a Generac whole house generator from Cruz Air. It was a complex installation which required a new gas line to be installed. They met the schedule, the installation was smooth and everything is up and running. I was extremely impressed with all aspects of the job!

Requested an estimate to install a generator. The person came and never rang the doorbell. Said they got what they needed. After waiting two weeks and calling several times I still do not have an estimate. Called today and was told it was on its way again. No thanks. They obviously have more business than they can handle. Customer service is lacking.

Travis is the best! He came in and saw what was causing our issues while other AC companies have just told us you have an old system and need a new one. He took the time to look at our problem instead of just trying to sell us a system.

Our main contact with Generac products was Mr. Adam Cruz, with Cruz Electric. Mr. Cruz made himself available for any and all of our questions regarding the generator sales process and the installation procedure involved. Since there were some major issues with the natural gas meter location, it was necessary to have an alternate gas meter installed on my property, rather than a very costly underground piping relocation from the existing gas meter on the opposite side of our house. Mr. Cruz took the responsibility and the initiative in coordinating the new gas line and meter installation with CenterPoint Energy, and made the whole installation process a very easy and worry-free transition period for us, the homeowners. This alternative solution to our dilemma was a major financial saving for us. It was a well-executed “turn-key” project by Adam and Cruz Electric from start-to-finish, and it took all of the worry and bother off us.Mr. Cruz and his Cruz Electric project technicians thoroughly explained the use and operation of the Generac Generator, and made sure that all of our questions were answered when the generator installation was completed.We opted to accept Cruz Electric’s “No Worry” Maintenance Program to have their professional and qualified technicians to service our Generator. Since that date, we have had Cruz’s maintenance technicians come by and run regular routine maintenance services, which keep us assured of having an unexpected power-losses under control. The electric power grid which we are on here is subject to unscheduled “outages” of from 4 to 12 hours at times, without warnings. It is reassuring to know that our entire home and all of our appliances are available for us whenever we need it, especially in this upcoming year’s hurricane season’s arrival and the unfortunate possibility of a hurricane or tornado appearing suddenly.We can whole-heartedly recommend Adam Cruz and Cruz Air and Electric. Reading the reviews, appears they do okay on HVAC, but I cannot recommend for generators. Scheduled a quote through Generac corporate. Company acknowledged the meeting and then no showed and no called. Scheduled a month in advance. Asked to reschedule and company wanted me to wait another month. Looks like several other one star reviews had a similar experience.

Called Cruz Air to get a quote for a new split unit Trane 7.5 Ton 480 3 phase, its a pricey unit, waited for the quote that day and didnt show, several days had passed so I called and still no quote, waited several more days and called and still no quote. Very Unprofessional. All the while its getting hotter.... Good luck with these guys

Great experience and price. Helpful and honest. Instead of charging me for repairs that may not be worth it in the long run, discussed options with me and gave me multiple quotes. Also encouraged me shop around with competitors and to call them back if I have questions and want to discuss what competitors offer. Did not feel rushed, uneducated, or taken advantage of. So far they are the cheapest out of the other competitors we have called and we will be using them again!

I had an entire change out of my AC and heating unit on July 27, 2018. Travis, Zach, and Pepe did excellent work. They were professional, efficient, and very tidy.

The technician (Travis) did a complete and thorough checkup and cleaning of my air conditioning system. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer any questions that I had. I will request him again for any future work/checkups of my system.

I personally visited this company to make an appointment to have 3 recess lights repaired. My appointment was scheduled for Nov 24,2014. No one showed up for the appointment or called to say that they could not make it. I even called to confirm my appointment was for that day and time.I returned to the business to see why no one came by or called and I must say the young lady at the front desk was very apologetic . She again confirmed that i did have an appointment for that day and time but did not know why no one showed up. I scheduled a second appointment for Jan 29, 2015. On that day the technician showed up almost 3 hours late. I told the company that their technician could leave and that i would take my business elsewhere.

Cruz Air & Electric was recommended by a neighbor for a home generator installation. I contacted them to get an estimate. I was told they would be there between 1pm - 3pm the follow day. I took the afternoon off, but nobody came by during the given time window. I called the office at 5pm and was told there and been an emergency and could the come by between 9am - 10am the next day. (maybe the emergency was their phones didnt work).I stayed home the next morning. Again, nobody showed up. I called at 10:30AM and was told Hes enroute now. At noon, nobody still had shown up. (Again, maybe he was coming from another part of the state enroute and there were no phones working anywhere).I called at noon and told them to forget it!! 8 hours of my life - GONE. I wouldnt do business with this company if THEY paid ME!

Dylan came out today and fixed our problem. He was very kind, considerate and professional. We took out another year maintenance today too.

My compressor went out May 7 2018 I called cruz because we have used them before and THOUGHT we were being taken care of. They sold us a unit back in 2012 and the compressor had 10 yr warranty. Since we couldnt get anyone out here from cruz called a diffrent company and they verified the units compressor was out so the new a.c. company called warranty and the department informed them it was a 5 year . I showed him the recipet wich states the compressor was indeed a 10 yr. I got nothing but excuses and ABSOLUTLEY NO HELP!! nothing but information ive already explained to them and because of their lack of information and HONESTY IN WHAT I WAS SOLD. I AM STUCK. Wow thank u so much and phobie the manager should really take the time to make herslef more knowledgable about what she informs customers all the receipts are in her handwriting. WOW AMAZINGMY RESPONSE THE OWNERA response to the owner.... Still did nothing even after we have told u we have proof with the reciepts. 13 grand for what so the owner can say sorry... Theres nothing we can do and complain that we actually have a voice and are good enough people that the situation at hand has inspired others to reach out about how ur company handles WARRANTIES DONE AND WRITTEN BY THE MANAGER!!

Had an emergency (a/c went out at 9 pm middle or Texas summer, 80° in my house) Called for after hours help, operator informed me a technician would call me with in 30 minutes....no call, I called the operator again and was informed the tech would call me with in another 30 minutes. NO CALL! I have 3 children (young children) and if it werent for them, I wouldnt be so persistent. But what is the point of an after hours if youre not even going to call or show up?
