This credit union, overall, is terrible. Ive been a member for a long time. They make it impossible to get an auto loan from them. I was approved at other banks, but decided I would rather use my credit union for auto financing, and behold I get denied. What is the benefit of being a member at this credit union if I cant use the benefits? I cannot recommend this credit union at all. Dont get me started on the customer service. It absolutely lacks. I will be leaving this credit union and joining a different one. Guess what? The new one approved me for the auto loan with a great interest rate with NO PROBLEM. TDECU is terrible.
I love this Credit Union its so much nicer than anything Ive ever been in the people always treat me as if Im a real human being and not a piece of meat and they have services that cost money in banks for free
Got in, and they already had a line around their lobby. Then they keep saying we will get with you over and over again. Then the two mangers just walk around and see the line and just stand there, knowing that they can help speed up the line but dont. They have a friendly staff, but I recommend just depositing your check via online or another location.
As a small business owner I am very impress about the quality of service I have received from everyone in the branch in the Heights; I also appreciate the two loan officers I am working with. on the personal and the commercial side. Both very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with, I like to mention their names. Evelyn H. Desire M. and the branch staff Tiffany, the young man at the entrance back counter I forgot to get his name and Gerald F. They all precent excellent customer service, I will definitely recommend all friends and family that may need bank services.
The manager and her staff are the best, they always welcome you with a smile and joy. I love going with Martin cuz he is very cheerful and talker . They give good service. The security is serious but he is good vibes.🥰😍
Avoid this location. Staff are friendly but location is chronically understaffed with long wait times for even simple transactions. Issue has been mentioned in past reviews but no improvement. Also, no ability to call location directly to see if a staff member is available.No public restrooms, no water or coffee while waiting.
Definitely satisfied with my service here. I was impressed they knew customers by name and everyone greeted customers as they entered. I was helped immediately and the employees were pleasant. Now that ATM convenience is no longer a major issue for me I am highly considering making TDECU my primary bank based on my experience here.

So Ive banked here for about 3-4 years now. The drive thru lines here are the worst. Very, very slow. The tellers are great but they are helping the customers inside of the lobby. Ive sat as long as 27 minutes in line waiting for 1 car in front of me to be served. Oh and the ATM machine is nicely planted in the drive thru lane exit instead of in the front of the credit union. So if u want to use it you have to park and get off and walk to the ATM standing in front of someones car in the drive thru. Im closing my accounts and going to another bank.
This location is OK. For the most part, staff is friendly and helpful. However, the last interaction I had with TIFFANY LOCKETT was Horrible! 2yrs ago I opened a teen account for my child and when trying to close it, I was told I could not since she was of age. Glad to know so I wont open another account but no big deal, its closed now. Next thing I know, I was charged a Maximum Account Transaction Fee. When called to inquire about it, I was told someone placed it on my account but not sure why since I dont have a transaction limit. The fee was removed but Im pretty sure it was TIFFANY since she had such a nasty attitude! I will never deal with her again and DO NOT recommend anyone to go to this location seeing how she is the Member Champion III. Bad managers tend to create bad employees! Eventually, it will trickle on down. Just beware!!
Great local bank with super helpful staff. At times, the line can be too long of a wait. Since we live so close, when that happens, we just leave & come back later. Ill never bank with a larger bank as customer service comes 1st here!
Too big to care. More dollars than sense. Couldnt borrow a small portion of my funds on deposit for a short term auto loan. They dont care how much money you have deposited in there bank according to their loan department. You MUST FOLLOW THEIR RULES if you want to borrow even a small portion of your funds back.
Staff is so insanely nice, I have never been charged fees and any issues I have are resolved very quickly and easily. Highly recommend this bank.
I cant say enough good things about TDECU in the Heights. They are professional, friendly, and always helpful. You simply have that small town bank feel as soon as you walk in, and they must do a pretty good job of treating their employees well because the same people have been there as long as I can remember (this is not so with some of the other banks Ive been a member with). With their new online options, TDECU in general really has done a great job of striking that delicate balance of offering all of the amenities of a big bank while keeping whats great about a Credit Union. I would highly recommend them to anyone, especially anyone looking to take advantage of their extremely low interest loan options.
Yesterday 9/24/19, I went in over 30 minutes before the bank closed and the person assisting me made me feel rush and unimportant from the moment I walked in.(I work long hours and this was the only time i had to come in the bank. I was with Eva Cazares ,she was very impatient and was uninformative about my questions for a loan.While I was sitting with her she was not even responding to me talking and put my information in the computer wrong! I love this bank but the employees are terrible.I even called today 9/25/19 and she wont respond to my phone calls.
I dont know if Ive ever made it more than a few steps in the door without being greeted with a smile! The staff are friendly, welcoming, and professional. I rarely, if ever, have to wait long at all.
Maria has proven that she is dependable efficient and dedicated to providing excellent customer service each time I have been there rather I go to drive through or enter the lobby she is a keeper.
I love the fact that when I got there and didnt wait for more than 5 min to see a consultant. I ended up getting a debit card and I like that they make it for you right then and there and you dont have to wait for it to come in the mail!!
This CU needs to have their customers respect the public alley they share with the homes for the drive through. Even with signs posted customers still block neighbors from getting out of their garages.
I cant stress enough on how easy, fast, and convenient there entire loan process is across the board. And minimal docs. Every chance i get i recommend them.
The staff didnt help me at all I went yesterday and I told the lady I needed to make a transaction or get a cashier check and she said that I could use my card that she couldnt do a transaction and she couldnt give me a cashiers check. I will not be going back to this location.
Love this place. The people are great. Really try to help people understand how to make their lives better by explaing the things necessary for them to be able to help you.

The costumer service its horrible, days and days nobody help me whit my application for a credit card . I need to drive 30 min to my close location because by phone takes forever . I will not recommend!!
