STAY AWAY!!!!!!!! Developers, save your warranty team the misery and making home owners miserable.We bought a home from dr Horton and l&s installed our hvac system. Our brand new home is covered in mold.

Daniel did an excellent job! Professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and very polite. he fixed my HVAC issue quickly and explained everything clearly. Highly recommend!

I purchased my home from Meritage Homes. This company has been horrible to deal with the repair of my furnace. My furnace has not been working since I purchased my home last year. Last year when we had the cold temperatures hit, the heat would not work. They went out multiple times and could not fix it. Eventually, I think they found temporary a fix, but I was never able to really test it out again because it didnt get cold enough. Low and behold I keep having the same issue again once it gets cold again. They are now saying it is the compressor but I have little to no faith that they actually know what the real issue is.

Our technician was so nice and personable. We had a toy stuck in the toilet and thought we might need to have some extensive work to get it out. Well, our tech got it pretty quickly and saved the day! Such a nice and honest man. God bless you, sir! Thank you so much L&S!

We built a home with Newmark and unfortunately the builder uses these guys for the HVAC system. They are awful to deal with.The home is a little over 3 years old and weve had to have these guys come out more than 5 times for the house not cooling or heating. When they have come out, they claim to have a bad part which is under warranty and will come to replace in 5+ days later, which leaves us without cooling or heat for the duration.This morning - once again, the house is not cooling. I am setting the thermostat to 74 and the thermostat is reading 81. The representative on the line repeatedly told me this is normal because the system is designed to have a 20-degree spread from outside temperature and tried to tell me its hot outside and with the added humidity, the system will not cool.She said due to this not being an emergency - she cannot have a technician for 6 days and it would be $125 charge. The charge is not the issue, it is absurd that they will not come out for 6 days when we have a single unit system for both floors and the house is not cooling.I told the representative that this is not acceptable as we have a 8 month old baby and the house does not cool, she said well - this is the earliest and you can go to another company if youd like. Once again, explaining to her that I would consider this an emergency if the house does not cool and no cool air comes out of the vents for more than 24 hours now, she went on to say have a nice day, twice.Since then, I called out another HVAC company, they came out within the hour, they identified the issue to get it resolved.Im shocked that L&S Mechanical can sit there and tell me that it is normal to have your AC set to 74 and the thermostat does not go below 81. The amount of problems people in our neighborhood have with these guys is ridiculous, almost weekly - someone is posting about how terrible this company is and how they refuse to help on the system they installed.Stay away from this company and if your builder uses them as the HVAC provider, Id still call someone else.

Horrible quality and service, stay away. No pride in work and are not qualified to be doing the work from what I can tell, been fighting AC issues for 2 months on my DR Horton house and no progress.

They hung up the phone twice send they were going to send someone to help with my hvac then cancelled my appointment and said they would send something next morning and did not customer service was rude and this is a brand new home only one month in my “new” home with a broken HVAC 0/10 service is horrible

Im leaving a 1 star because Ive been contacting this company about their technician meeting a woman at a local motel nearly weekly for almost 2 months sometimes before 7am sometimes in the lunch hour. Ive sent photos of him and his female partner, last I heard in June was theyre investigating, well not too hard because hes back here today, with all these folks complaining about them being unresponsive. Well its because theyre getting their booty calls in before their house calls.

What a pain this company is, they’re not committed to their work at all. It’s been so difficult to follow up with them, and air conditioning not working they still think its not an emergency. It’s all a joke to them, hope it happens to one of their employees homes and they could understand the pain. There’s no empathy in the customer services and neither in their technicians. One of the worst experiences with this company and would never recommend it to anyone. Hope they take the customer seriously at least unlike their job.

Luis Gallardo from L&S did a fantastic job fixing our humidity problem… Luis mentioned that one of the components in the attic had been improperly installed and he fixed it upon inspection… I’m glad there are still people out there who take pride in their work… A++++++

Theyre been coming out consistently for almost a year now and still cant seem to get it right. They made new ducts which was awesome but then I had a home inspector come in and call them out for it being out of regulation and the HVAC was the highlight for the worst issue in the house. DR Horton is skimping out for them most likely being cheaper. You know what cheaper gets you. POOR QUALITY. Fix my stuff.

Luis from L&S Has been nothing but helpful. he has went over and beyond to help us with any HVAC questions, maintenance and repair. I would recommend the service to anybody.

Great communication. You guys just helped with my new build that the builder a/c company messed up. And wired it correctly and got it working temporarily(order parts) but your tech walked me through everything he was doing. Loved it. Great job with hiring good ppl.

Trash Company. This company did the install of my homes HVAC system. After warranty period was over. They would not answer the phone. During warranty period. They would have a two week waiting period for a service tech to come out. Service techs are okay. The installation workers did a terrible Job.Trash Company and Trash Customer Service.

This company is unresponsive and none of the workers know what is going on and none of them call back for an update. I have to call otherwise Id never get an answer. A/C went down Sunday night, the technician came on Thursday. Was told the part is coming in next week by Friday, and they dont have a portable unit for us to use while waiting for parts to arrive that they should have known would have broken since its Texas in the summer months. It is 90 degree weather, and its going to take them 2 weeks to get this fixed. Now I have to wait until Monday for them to might have a unit available for us to use until the part comes in and repairs are make.

EDIT: Weve now had three experiences with this company, all with the same wonderful standard of service. Just couldnt recommend them more!Prompt, super friendly, and fast working all while being thorough. I would definitely recommend! Our service provider even took his shoes off and wore a mask (without anyone asking) which was very considerate! 10/10

We bought a home where they were contracted to do the A/C work. My wife is a 100 percent disabled vet with severe PTSD and our home is where she can feel safe…that is until our experience with this company. We filed a warranty claim and were told they would be out on a Monday. On the Friday before while we were out of town someone from their company shows up. My wife explains to them through our ring doorbell, which we sent the videos to this company, that we were not home. They had a clear exchange about us not being there. The guy said he was there to do our warranty work and my wife let him in believing she had to. After a few minutes of him being in our home he exits and goes back in front of the camera and tells her he can’t be there if we are not home and then leaves. We were super confused because he entered knowing we were not home. When we get back we realize my wife’s air pod pros were stolen from the counter and it was the last gps location recorded on the find my app. We reach out to L and S to explain our concern and that’s where things went downhill. They told us the guy had been there for 2 years and knew their policy and shouldn’t have entered our home. They then said they would look into it. After hearing nothing for a long time I reach out and ask what’s going on with replacing the AirPods and the employee. I was told they looked into it and decided he didn’t take them and that they would take no action. They can’t explain why he would enter our home knowing it was in violation of the policy then randomly after spending some time inside decide to just leave without doing any work. I understand that places get some bad employees and that is understandable but what isn’t understandable is putting a bad employee before your customer. Be very careful about letting this company in your home because no matter what policy their employee breaks they don’t seem to care.

Rory was the best! He actually came early and listened to our issues. He double-checked what we had discovered and verified we were on the right track before calling for service. He found one issue and repaired it! We really appreciate Rory and his expertise. A friendly man who appreciates his job and his customers. He’s a keeper!

I love it! They r nice, big professionals and working so clean and fast!We had problem (grease in kitchen pipes) and our previous experience with another company was terrifying. They were late, and when they showed up immediately start talking about money. They said it will be $520 or more (just to clean up pipes). Guy just did not wanted to do his job. We canceled their “service” and call L&S Mechanical.Oh gush I forgot his name but he showed up on time. With the smile. Fix everything for less than an hour and charged us $125. Love it! Will recommend you guys to all!

This is my first Google review. I wanted to write it to commend Will Barker on a job well done. He came by to do some warranty work on my home. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. I was happy with the repairs he made. He is a great asset to the company.

He did an awesome job repairing our toilet tank. Told me how it cracked and installed a new one. He was done in less than 20 minutes!! Thank you so much

The absolute worst. Whats the point of emergency services when they do not respond. Scheduled to have the plumber come out Friday after hours. Did not come until Saturday morning. No explanation. Then without fixing the problem he just left without notice. Now I cant get a hold of anyone at the company despite this being an emergency. What a disaster.

Alex is SIMPLY THE BEST! He came to my home and put my mind at ease about my AC issue. During this visit he also educated me on my AC, HVAC, warranty, and recommended maintenance. Alex provided superior customer service. I feel so lucky that L&S Mechanical chose Alex to assist me today.

Leaky toilet repair. Barker did an excellent job in fixing the leaky toilet..Plumbing: This time he fixed the gas leak under the cook top. There are three leaks. He took the lines apart and remove the Teflon tapes. He used the glue for all gas connections. Great job. No more gas smell inside the house.

Jeff Williams was excellent. He was professional, courteous and most of all, competent. He was persistent and creative in finding a solution to my air conditioning problems. He did everything he said he would do and even stayed very late one evening to finish the job after he had traveled all over Central Texas that day. I highly recommend Jeff and L&S Mechanical!

I had the pleasure of William Barker Jr to fix what I would say, is a poor workmanship by a builder. From the questions that he asked and the approach that he took, I can tell that William is a master of his trade. He treats his work like a piece of art and I’m thankful that he was sent over as his solution met every expectations of mine. Thank you William!

Perry Homes uses them for HVAC install. Big mistake! We have had the HVAC leak not once but twice due to the seals not being done correctly. We have had water damage in our entire home from them. STAY FAR FAR AWAY. Attorneys will be contacted.

Bought a new home they installed the ac system in. Had to call them 5 times to my home to address some issues and all 5 times the issues were not resolved. So instead of my unit being fixed under warranty I had to outsource to a different company to address the issues . Would rate them a zero if I could. Do not use them is you have other options.

He was reliable and does good work. This was a warranty repair for these hot water tanks. Unfortunately both had failed 2 months after the original install. Then he repaired one while waiting on parts for the other. Then the repaired one failed and fixed again a month ago. Then finally the last of the warranty parts had arrived and now I have both tanks up and running. Manufacturer quality is creating extra work for L&S.

This company came to my property for the same problem about 5 times. High humidity, first technicians they send you are the ones coming out of school clueless, at the end they send a senior tech and they left my property with 76% humidity saying everything was fine, that I was been to picky. Customer service terrible with office. The management talk like you are asking for favors. Like homeowners want someone to be coming over and over for the same problem. Just call someone else. When you see service companies with too many 5 star reviews you know they not real.

Ask for Joseph Metts as he was the one who did my work today. Very knowledgeable and friendly. The work looked great after he finished and the pricing compared to others in the area was outstanding. They don’t price gouge as many plumbers do. He was very honest.A+ rating

Joe has repaired every toilet in our home, helped with our disposal, replaced our water heater after the freeze, etc. He’s a consummate professional, always on time, incredibly helpful. We could not recommend him enough.

Horrible Hvac experience for my family and I. Their techs are not experienced. They never have supplies and they make excuses. L&S has been to my home more times than I can count and they never fix the issue at hand. Now we have a no cooling issue and I’m forced to move my wife and one year old son into a hotel. The outsize unit froze, I called L&S and they sent a tech out. He immediately said it was the blower motor but he didn’t even check the outside unit. He also didn’t check for leaks or check coolant levels.Stay away from L&S for Hvac work if possible.

We had a service call with Jeff at L&S Mechanical. He was a great communicator, on-time for both visits and quickly identified the issue. Thanks to Jeff, our house will be at a super cool 72 degrees even in the heat of the summer! I highly recommend L&S Mechanical for commercial, residential installation and service!

Installed HVAC system for my house and they can’t even tell me where the filter is. DR. HORTON has been horrible lately choosing contractors and now I’m the one suffering! Stay away from these kind of irresponsible services!

L&S is a great company to use for all of your residential needs. We recently had them come out to replace our kitchen faucet. The technician that came out was Joseph Metts. He was on time and came equipped for the job. He was very knowledgeable about his trade and was able to explain everything in laymans terms.

We scheduled L&S Mechanical for HVAC and Plumbing. They responded quickly, and both service techs were friendly and professional. We have them scheduled annually for routine maintenance. Definitely recommend!

Rory is the best. Knowledgeable, and respectful. L&S is lucky to have him. He has been sent to my house on a few separate occasions and each time did an outstanding job.

Rory responded fast, at a very late hour of the night to recharge AC unit (X2). Ongoing leak concern is not able to be repaired timely, however, Rory was able to recharge as a temp fix until L&S is able to repair the leaks correctly and completely. Rory was professional, fast and very communicative.

Matt was great, he arrived as scheduled and finished quickly. The only negative is a small part took over a month to arrive. I agree it was over the holidays but a small part for a leaky kitchen faucet shouldn’t take this long

Will Barker Jr. repaired some warranty items at our house and he was professional, had a wonderful attitude, smiled and did an amazing job! I give him and this company 5 stars!!!

L&S Mechanical is very professional and addressed all of our concerns. Our technician, Joseph Mets, was very knowledgeable and very informative about what our issues were. Even though we are out of warranty, he still treated us and our problem as if it was. If we ever have more issues, I’ll make sure to ask for Joseph!!

Came in to fix a hose on my dishwasher. He was fast and knew exactly what to do and explained to me everything he did. Very professional! Will recommend this company to everyone!

One star for L&S, five stars for Harold. We had just purchased a brand new house on a Wednesday. A problem was noted with the HVAC system when we moved in on Saturday. When we contacted L&S, they indicated it was not an emergency and would send a tech out on Monday. I’m not impressed with the company at all. On Monday, Harold was sent out and was very good at diagnosing and fixing the problem. Two units were wired incorrectly. Harold reworded the units correctly and no problem has been noted since that time.

He fixed the problem with 2 of our sinks that were not holding water when plugged. Unfortunately he gave up before even trying on the tub issue. It was caulked incorrectly and he said to fix it the entire tub would have to be removed because it was too close to the wall. Thats not a solution so we had to get someone else to come out and do it.

William Barker was fast, knowledgeable and fixed my hot water problem in my bathroom. Thanks so much William! Great job!

I bought a new house in December 2020, L & S Mechanical was the company that installed the HVAC, 10 weeks ago a technician from your company came because there was water running through the auxiliary pipe, he asked the company for a specialist to level the coil. I followed up and called 5 weeks ago and they couldnt assign me a day to fix my HAVC. Today at 6:00 pm the HVAC does not work .... we will sleep without HVAC. Its really frustrating ... regrettable I wouldnt recommend them

This company has the worst customer service i’ve ever experienced in my life. They’re so rude when you call, they don’t show up or call when they say they will, and even completely no-show to appointments. I would definitely not use them if it wasn’t for our warranty.

Not responsive when I submitted a ticket via the website. I had to call and wait on hold for some time. Once I spoke to them and asked if they perform AC maintenance such as checks/cleaning, they informed me that they don’t do that type of service. Really? I can’t tell for their “full service” website. They put my AC in (new construction) but it seems they don’t have any interest in follow up work.

This is a great company to work with as all the staff is like family and strive for quality work , doing plumbing, electrical and hvac the correct way is not an easy thing to do running a tritrade business but they do it well , Josh is an excellent boss that can multi task and find solutions, keep up the good work as our industry need yall

They replaced a defective coach light outside my garage. The work was done well and completed quickly.
