American Home Shield assigned All American AC and Heating to come check out our 4 ton package unit. The young technician that came out told us that a power surge caused the wires to melt and it burned out one of the legs to the unit. He also told us we needed a new heat strip. American Home Shield denied the coverage calling it “acts of God.” All American AC and Heating were going to charge us $780 to fix it. I called a local company, Adam’s Air Conditioning, and they came out. #1. It wasn’t a power surge. The wire vibrated off and caused short. Not an “act of God.” #2. The heat strip was perfectly fine. PERFECTLY FINE!!So how was the unit fixed??Drum Roll PleaseReplaced wire and put on a new thermostat!By the way, I called and told them this three times and they refused to make it right. Al told me he would have his operations manager call me back all three times and they never did!

It is very rare that I choose to post about any business. However, I am simply compelled to let you guys know how wonderful and amazing these guys have been when it came to installing my entirely new HVAC system. I highly recommend this company. They are extremely professional and presented themselves well while doing my install the cleanup was outstanding. Mr. Daniel is very knowledgeable and informative. I wasnt feel rushed when he came to check my AC. He took the time to explain the use of certain parts so that I will understand what can cause my thermostat to turn off. He walked me thru the outside so he can show me where the pipe leads and educated me of the things that I can do to flush the pipe for maintenance purposes. Over all, I am very satisfied of the service he provided.

Weve had several repairs done by All American, most initially scheduled via Choice Home Warranty, and eventually and finally, with our own money. Summary: 1 star review for home warranty related services, and 5 star review for when youre paying with actual cash. Hence my 3 star review (average of experiences).Details: Our HVAC is old and had a number of leaks and failures throughout the summer. Weve had to replace a valve, a coil, and our condenser. Altogether, there were countless visits to evaluate the HVAC system, make repairs, negotiate with home warranty on further evaluations/tests and what they would cover.Every review that describes the home warranty related experience with 1 star does that for a reason. Scheduling is a nightmare. The office is extremely poor at communicating. The technicians make little effort to show up at the start of the window. The service windows themselves are 6-8 hours long, which make planning your day around these challenging. At one point, when we had a home warranty approved coil ready for pick up, All American made 0 effort to contact our home warranty to arrange the pick up for the part, and subsequently the actual service and repair. We had to badger their office on a daily basis to get anything moving and done. Every follow up they claimed they would do, was never done without our pursuit and follow up.Eventually, by the end of the summer, our condenser also sprung a leak. By this point, our home warranty contract ended while we were getting an evaluation of what went wrong. At this point, after multiple requests for a manager to intervene with our case, we finally got a hold of Daniel. Once he took over, Daniel handled every aspect of our condenser repair with prompt and timely communication, respect, grace, and hospitality. Daniel is an absolute 6/5 employee and we are extremely grateful for him. And the company should be too, because this would be a solid 1/5 review if not for him. The repairs were done promptly and on time, as well as other follow up work related to a previous repair. In parallel, we received another quote from a different AC company, that was much higher. All that to say, All American provided a fair quote and good labor towards the end, but only once out of home warranty servicing.Altogether, the office and technicians complained multiple times about the home warranty and how much they hated working with it. Its baffling why they continue to accept their business considering how absolutely shitty they treat these customers.Other employees:Jesse: 2/5. Hes very knowledgeable and fairly communicative. However hes just an ass and broadly speaking, lacks hospitality skills and bedside manners. The first time he visited, he insisted our coil had a micro leak that we wouldnt be able to find and home warranty wouldnt cover. After badgering him to check the condenser, we found the leak in a valve there (though home warranty doesnt cover this, we paid him to come out and fix it). Subsequent visits included follow up tests for the coil that sprung a leak and he always made sure to voice his displeasure with the home warranty.Jacob: 4/5. Hes very knowledgeable and communicative, and did a great job explaining everything he was doing. However, multiple times now weve requested follow up quotes (condenser, plenum replacement, dampers, etc) that he just has not sent. The only time we successfully got a quote from him was after 1) multiple calls to dispatch and 2) when Daniel was involved with this quote. As kind and lovely as Jacob is, its baffling how poor he is at following up with quotes. Were still waiting for these quotes but I dont really care to get them anymore.Coil replacement: There was a crew of 2 whose names we did not catch as we needed to leave town for a family emergency. The repair they did for our coil was 2/5. They mildly damaged a beam in the attic, left a 2 inch hole in the plenum to measure temperature (that Jacob patched up with tape), and when clearing the line, left junk in the bathroom sink where it flew out.

The consequential dealing with office staff and trying to communicate with closed minded people I would highly discourage any dealing when having to work with home warranty services. They would not modify work orders to include ONLY NECESSARY REPAIRS. By including recommendations they drove the price up and made it impossible to get warranty work done.

100% would recommend to anyone having AC problems. I called them and within minutes we scheduled a meeting and they had my problem fixed faster than any other estimate. Handles the problem professionally and got it done with no problems. My AC is now working brand new again!

Seems like they treat you decently if youre not going through a home warranty according to these reviews.I went through AHS and this is by far the worst Ive ever been treated by a company.Ill spare the details here but the TL;DR version is:-Tech broke system during repair-Price shot up $3000-Company lowered price arbitrarily (still over 2k)-Part was in Ordered status for 2 1/2 summer months-Right when I accepted the Cash offer from warranty, they scheduled me because the part finally arrived.Overall I dont trust this company, theres something thats not right about how they handle home warranty orders, my guess is they dont pay as much so they are at the bottom of their queue and they hike up prices as much as possible since the warranty has contracted rates.

All American AC & Heating, LLC.Horrible service!!! If I could give negative stars, I would. Read thoroughly before using!We used them with AHS the first time and they seemed good and competent, however, AHS approved a portion to be fixed and part and they neglected to install the data censor. Later on we had an issue with our unit leaking through to our toddlers room, they came out and I pointed out the leak, which then they tried to diagnose the issue my pulling unit’s frontal face off and we came to conclusion that the drain pan was cracked. They took 8 weeks to get the info AHS needed to approve the fix. I had to call them repeatedly and finally asked AHS what was needed and what’s with the hang up, they told me they were waiting on All American Heating & AC to send over the cost to take out coil to replace drain pan, and reinstall coil. I called All American and asked if they could kindly submit that to get the ball going. They then hit us with a $700 out of pocket expense which took a few weeks to come up with (as we are a single family income). Installer came out and claimed over unit and saw all this damage and said not sure how this was missed, but house been included in report. I said, they never jumped over the unit like you just did, only went to leaking part I pointed out and pulled face off. He confirmed it was most likely all tied together and should’ve have been missed. He was unable to do his repair as this was a big issue and needed addressed. All American took 3 weeks to send it over to AHS, which I had to call and urge them to as we needed this all fixed. They then tried to say it was “secondary” as they tried to put the blame on us for taking so long to get fixed lol. Reality they majorly dropped the ball.After numerous weeks and phone call with AHS, supervisor approved All American Heating & AC to come back out for approval to re-diagnose the issue properly this time. Of course All American has dragged their feet now several more weeks and said it wasn’t approve, but I said I just spoke with them and they said it was and resubmitted and AHS had been trying to reach out to All American now for over 2 weeks and have heard nothing back.I called back and guy I spoke with had no idea about AC units but said it’s our fault lol. I said no, you want it to be for dropping the ball. He then we have right to refuse your service and hung up. When I called back, a lady clearly who is supervisor is trying to cover their tracks and again, got no where; which I informed I’d be reporting her to AHS. while over the phone with AHS, she was on phone as well and person told me this.I called back to get their last names, and a newer girl of a week clearly playing the game said she couldn’t remember her supervisor’s last name haha. When asked for her name she said D and refused to provide full name. The. Got an attitude and said she didn’t have to speak to me at all. The guy who hung up she said his name was Mike, but again refuses to be helpful in providing names, of course knowing that the supervisor Loretta, the gal over the phone by name of D, and Mike were all in the wrong and now trying to cover their tracks.STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!Incompetent, neglectful, unprofessional and rude!

Technician came to my house, did not do the diagnostic I asked of him. Was rude the minute he walked into the door, felt like I was inconveniencing him the whole time. Asked him to look at a particular part of the HVAC, he failed to do so, worked on another part of the HVAC. Upon completing the work he said he would be back to assess the other part. Never came back and closed the work order out.The follow up and customer service in this situation was terrible

Had really bad experience. Had them come out to work on my ac and they came out. Told me what I need and they will had to submit a report to my AHS took them over 3 weeks to submit the report then told them they don’t work on Manufactured homes. I do not recommend them at all. I had a different company come out and they got the approval for the part in less than an hour.

Horrible! They came to fix my system, but stripped a screw, and rather than take responsibility, they said I needed a new air handler unit. I told them it was their guy that broke it, and the lady started arguing with me saying he didn’t and that I was asking him to just put a bolt in it. I wasn’t, I was asking if that was possible, when he said no, I agreed, and waited, and waited, 2 months, summer months! They kept saying they were waiting for a part. Ended up calling someone else, they got the job done in 2 days, and for $1000 less. Also, the new guy told me they left it in pieces, didn’t even bother to put it back together! Don’t waste your time, I don’t know how these guys are even in business!

Found them through my home warranty company. Customer service of everyone was excellent and Loretta and Cody were very helpful in answering my questions/explaining things (unlike American home shield). Miguel and Andre replaced my air handler in 3 hours and the air is blowing strong. I only have a 4 star just because this is my first time having to work with a/c companies and I dont have much to compare to, also, I wish they had more of a labor warranty. But other than that, no complaints.

Grateful doesnt come close. We found them thru our home warranty company. My parents (Ramirez) A/C started making a loud noise and went out. It was 95°and getting hotter. Carlos came out, and with Pedros help worked quickly with the company and us to repair. Pedro was so helpful and showed great concern for my Mom and Dad in this Texas heat. Carlos was skilled in his work, and was so gracious as my Dad followed him around. I love people like this. Truly put the customer first. 💖

I’m so grateful for Adrian and his team! They weren’t going to be able to come until after the weekend to look at my AC and it wasn’t working and my house was hot! My mom lives here with me, and has severe breathing issues and uses oxygen machines and such and the AC being out was making her sick! My home warranty was less than helpful (and that’s a different review for a different place, but I no longer recommend American homeshield for a home warranty) and giving me the run around. They graciously squeezed me in, on their own decision to do so, and got my AC back up and running in no time, and took my mother’s health into consideration when they didn’t have to! This company was contracted through American home shield otherwise I would have never used these people. They sent a tech out just to put coolant in my AC and the guy ends up putting the wrong coolant in which ended up completely breaking my central air unit. I have called and called and they refuse to answer my call.This is my warning - I 100% will sue you for breaking my HVAC if you do not return my calls.
