We recently had a heating issue during the cold weather, and Bryce was a lifesaver. He went above and beyond to help us, even coming back to back to our place for two days shows his dedication to the work. . Bryce initiated a thorough inspection, solved all the issues, and stayed late to make sure everything was perfect. His dedication and expertise were truly appreciated. Highly recommend Bryce.

My heater went out just before the recent cold snap and snowfall we had, and I was suffering in the cold leading up to it. Thankfully Seth T came by and not only helped get that fixed before temps dropped below freezing, but also made sure that I knew what to do on my own to prevent my insurance from refusing to pay for the repair. He was also super knowledgeable and very friendly, great to talk to while he was getting the job done!

Home warranty scheduled Air City AC to come out. Air City called promptly and came out the following day. Bryce, the technician, was very professional and knowledgeable. Diagnosed problem and discussed unit and options with me. He will turn recommendations in and hoping to get part quickly. Good service and I would recommend Air City AC and Heating.

We had many companies out in the past and the techs always try to sell us something we don’t need or we have a bad experience. Today we had Peter out for our fall maintenance and he did an excellent job! Checked everything thoroughly as well as explained everything well. He treated our AC and home with care, very happy with this company. For any AC needs ask for Peter he’s the best!

I recently had an issue with my heater and scheduled Air City AC & Heating LLC through my warranty provider to come out. The issue had already been reviewed by another HVAC company that estimated the work to be approximately $2,500+ including replacement of my heater controller board, dampener and thermostat replacement, which my warranty provider refused to cover.Bryce Tucker was extremely professional, knowledgeable & polite. He patiently listened as I explained the entire issue I had been having, took the time to review the issue and was able to accurately fix my problem. Issues were resolved and in the end nothing was wrong with my heater controller board, dampener or thermostat. The previous company either didnt know what they were doing or had deliberately sabotaged my heater.I truly appreciated the prompt, friendly, and informative service I received from Bryce Tucker at Air City AC & Heating LLC. He exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend them for any HVAC needs.

Bon looked into an AC issue that came up from an inspector on a house I was trying to sell. He walked me through the issue in great detail to where I could understand it and determined that my AC was working as it should. Vandalism and Poor SecurityI am extremely disappointed with my experience. I discovered that my unit had been vandalized. The technician went to my attic and did some vandalism and intentionally taken off my air duct and furnace vent exhaust, I was lucky I sent another technician to prevent major damage to my system before it happened.What’s even more frustrating is the lack of security and accountability. This has cost me a lot of money in repairs, not to mention the inconvenience of being without AC during the hottest time of the year.

Reggie was very thorough in helping us understand our AC concerns. He explained to my husband and I very well the issue to our new home. He gave us options on how to solve the issue and how effective both options are as well their defaults. Very nice gentlemen and would likely contact them again for my HVAC concerns.

****Im updating my review*****Dont deal with them. They have been to my home four times with four different people, and the AC unit is still broken. I have two units, and the second technician worked on the wrong unit, ran out of oxygen and freon, and left it open to the rain and snow. The third technician also ran out of freon and said nothing was wrong with the unit that was supposedly broken. The fourth technician said it wasnt the part that the second technician replaced and needed to diagnose the unit that they broke. They wanted me to file a new claim so they could work on the unit that their installer left unattended and not working for weeks. Now, no one from their company is trying to fix the unit. Im really upset with the service we have received, and if you are planning to use them, DONT DO IT. Get another company ASAP. --- I hope this helps! Let me know if you need any further adjustments.

Seth was very thorough in explaining the issues with our A/C system and how to fix them. He stressed the importance of A/C maintenance and how neglect affects health and finances. I learned a lot of necessary information about homeownership and its responsibilities. We really needed an expert such as Seth for the complexity of our case.

Horrible company. I have American Homeshield warranty and AirCity techs are incompetent. These people came to my house on 4 different occasions and each time they brought the wrong part to fix my ac. The communication between dispatch and the techs sucks. One time i didnt even know i was on the schedule until the tech called me and said they were on the way. Isnt that dispatch job to inform customers that a tech is en route to me? My ac is still not fixed, this is a money hungry small company. Take my advice and go with a more professional and larger AC company to fix any warranty issues.

Toney was amazing. He was professional and replaced my furnace battery very fast. He was throughout and friendly. I highly recommend.

Ordered wrong part first time, returned next day with replacement part. Was not an exact fit for the unit and had to cut into the unit. Their modifications affected the heat function. Had to call a different company out to actually fix the problem. Do not recommend.

My HVAC vendor I used, and more importantly trusted for 13 years no longer services my area. I have since used two different vendors and been extremely disappointed. That changed with Air City. Our technician Tony was extremely thorough. He listened intently when I explained the issues to him. He offered options for the possible solution. If I could leave a zero star review I would. They have a technician by the name Bon. He came out on a home warranty claim for my ac system for not working. He went up did what I guess he was suppose to came down right off the back says home warranty won’t accept this. Then required my fiancé to do a review because they had said there was a competition at their office. I work for a plumbing and hvac company and had the field supervisor who has 30 years of experience said that the technician left some wires detached so that system wouldn’t work. So be careful with using this company.

Our 30 year old system went out and we needed something immediately, being in south Texas in the summer, no AC is unbearable. After calling over 10 different companies, I came across Air City and made a call. while the other companies were to busy and scheduled me out several days to take a look, Air City sent one of their finest, Mr. Dixon. Mr. Dixon was at my house within a couple of hours assessing the system. Mr. Dixon concluded that the system needed to be replaced, upgraded, and the ventilation system needed to be re-engineered since some extra rooms were added and the AC was not upgraded. Mr. Dixon engineered the whole system and walked me through every technical aspect of the new design. It was very apparent that Mr. Dixon was very knowledgeable within the first minute of meeting and discussing an unnecessary snow guard attached to my old unit. The man is full of knowledge and undoubtedly a huge asset to the company. After going over the new design and price, Mr. Dixon had the crew show up 2 days later with all the equipment and the professional crew knocked the whole system out in a day. I cant express how happy I am with this company and quality work they do. Will highly recommend it to any consumer needing fast quality service. If youre lucky, youll also get to meet the legend known as Mr. Dixon!

Tony Nguyen is an awesome Technician. He was very professional, helpful and knowledgeable. He alerted me to another issue I was having had could have cost me thousands in damages. Unpleasant experience. its been three weeks since we had a tech come out. he said they needed a part. ive called twice for updates recently. the receptionist seems like she just wants to get me off the phone, even when i try to insist there are elderly in the home who are not doing well in the heat. three weeks is ridiculous. i cant say anything to the techs, but the parts department and reception seem incompetent and avoidant. i wouldnt be surprised if they forgot to call the part in, honestly.

Victor was our technician today. He came in to check our AC System which had not been working for a couple of weeks. He was cordial and a great technician as well. Although he was not able to fix the problem because of a part that needs to be ordered, but we are hoping his good work today will help get our AC system to function again when we get the parts.

Reggie was very informative. He showed me what the problem was and helped me to better understand the importance of said item to the overall functionality of my AC unit. 08-06-24 first tech Roy came out to diagnose the problem as to why my AC was freezing up. 08-10 they brought out the part, however the installer said that it was not the part that was wrong with the AC unit and they would need to bring another tech out. 08-12 second tech Victor came out and said what the problem was. On 08-13 10pm they came out with what they thought again would be the part and again it was not what was wrong with the AC. On 08-16 they advised they would have to order the compressor for the new AC unit as it was defective and it would take a least a week. Mind you in the mean time Im in a house that is 91degrees inside with three dogs one of which has breathing problems and Im 66 years old. After a week I called them as they dont call you back with any updates, and the part is still not in. Finally I got a call the part was in and they would be here on 08-30, yes 24 days after the first tech came out. And guess what they ordered the WRONG part. So today 09-03 I called them cause remember they dont call with any updates, they AGAIN have to order the part and will mostly likely take another two weeks. They still expect me to pay for their mistakes and when I asked why I should since they clearly did not know what they are doing I got sorry all we can do is discount it by $40.00 REALLY. A month I have been without AC and they could care less. All they want is to take their time and still expect me to pay. DO NOT USE this company.Signed66 year old RB

Update 2/10/25Today Romel came and replaced a motor that was out on my 2 year old outside unit. He was well informed and his expertise was amazing. He looked at it and knew what the problem was immediately. Ordered part and replaced it the next business day. Several other techs came out and never fixed the problem. It no longer is the loudest ac unit in my entire neighborhood. 🎉🎉🎉. If I ever need another repair I only want him to fix it.

How in the world this company got that good of a rating! The tech lied right under my roof before leaving the house claiming that he had submitted the diagnose to my warranty company and that was 4 days ago after calling my warranty company and myself over 4/5 times to them, they say same thing that it’ll be submitted right away and still up to this date nothing have been done yet! it’s Houston and it’s HOT in the house with young kids especially! (Sad part is i normally don’t leave feed back, but people really need to know and God knows how many more of bad reviews they are missing out!)

I cannot say enough good things about this company. From start to finish this was one of the smoothest things I’ve ever done when it came to repairing something. Jon the salesman was amazing. Just an honest, trusting guy, and we knew it from the second he walked in my door. I already knew the problems I was having, and he never lied to me about anything or tried to sell me something extra.Now let’s go to the installers who showed up The very next day to do the installation. Brian and Joe were my installers and they were so professional from start to finish and there wasn’t a nail left behind. They cleaned up everything. About the only thing worse than Texas heat is having your ac unit stop working on a Friday evening. Coming to the realization that you have to make it through the weekend before it can be repaired.The joy comes from having professionals such as Mr. Reggie and Mr. Bryce arriving on schedule and having your unit up and running in minutes. The greeting that came with a smile as they introduced themselves and the knowledge they displayed in explaining the problem was refreshing.To top it off, after the repair, Mr. Reggie and Mr. Bryce gave me and my family tips on what we can do to help our unit run more efficiently. Truly customer service at the finest. Would most definitely be seeking their business in the future.

My experience with this company was one of the best that I’ve had by far, especially with the technician I had, Junior. Junior came to my house to do his job and was very quick and was way faster than I expected. With my knowledge about HVAC, Junior helped answer all of my questions along with some doubts that I had to ensure me. Great company and an amazing technician!

My technician was Jr and he was awesome. He arrived on time and even gave me a courtesy call on the way. He diagnosed my problem immediately, fixed it and looked for other issues. He cautioned me about my aging compressor and suggested a Compressor Saver kit. I got that and immediately saw the difference the rate it was pulling. My experience from beginning to end was awesom. The office personnel showed the utmost professionalism when i called to confirm and ask for a courtesy call. I would definitely recommend Air City AC & Heating

They replaced our AC compressor but we ended up with another problem. They came out next day and fixed it. Our technician, JR was terrific, professional, courteous, informative and trustworthy. There was no added fee for the second visit and fix.

Reggie and Ray were very professional and knowledgeable. They gave me a 15 mins heads up so I could leave work (less than 2 miles) and not have sat there for 4hrs waiting. I told them another co came out and put 2lbs of freon in 6weeks ago and it was doing the same. They went out to outside unit and said I was low freon again. Then they went up to the attic to the unit up there a detected a leak in the evaporator. He needs to order parts and will send technician back. This company responded to my call and came out to my home under 48hrs and it was the same week of hurricane. I will be keeping this company and Reggie number in my roledex.

If I could give a NEGATIVE STARS review , I would.Air City AC & HEATING is the MOST incompetent company I have ever had the displeasure of having done business with! After the freak derecho storm left millions without power, 96 houra for us, when we finally got power back, our AC never worked right after thet. Air City was contracted by our home warranty company (which I will blast on another post). When our issue was diagnosed, of course our warranty company denied the claim and we were left to pay $4,274.79. First technician diagnosed, said he couldnt fix it & had to get home warranty to approve it. DENIED. Then, days later, they sent a second technician, who not only didnt fix it, but he took a piece from our system and left (on a Saturday night)... no AC work done on Sunday. Days pass, we call multiple times every day to find out what is going on, always told they will return our calls, but dont. Another technician comes out, and another, another, tools and Rtic (monogrammed) cup taken, cup finally returned days later. Always the LAST home on their schedule each day and they dont leave until 11 - 12 at night.... but still cant figure it out. This goes on for a month with NO AIR-CONDITIONER. I cant even keep track of how many technicians they sent, but at least one of them told is that one of their own techs did MORE damage to our system (top of the line Lennox according to Air City). FINALLY they sent a person who actually was a Lennox specialist, who should have been sent out on the 2nd call!!!Now, there is no compensation they are offering for all of our trouble....not a discount or anything! We have asked for compensation, and were told, the work was done. (Remember one of their OWN techs stated that someone from their company did MORE damage to our EXPENSIVE system.) As the daughter of an attorney, former assistant attorney general of Texas.... your company has NOT heard the last of me!

I don’t really care to post reviews but these days there aren’t a lot of companies you can actually brag on… in saying all that, this agency was sent via my home warranty 🙄… a home warranty I don’t really care for btw but this particular company (Air City Ac and heating) exceeded my expectations, the technician was literally heaven sent, NO FOR REAL!! His name was Huff, not only did he show dedication in finding an actual solution to my problem, he stayed and fixed it! He didn’t come up with an excuse or tell me some unforeseen, made up lie, he fixed the problem, told me in laments terms what the issue was and truly went above and beyond! While I can’t be certain that every tech will have the same standards, this company definitely has me sold… in the most positive way! Again his name is Huff, he’s very knowledgeable, won’t try to get over on you and he was extremely nice and patient… good job Air City🫡

Not happy with this company. They were sent out by Choice Home Warranty. The guy came and fixed my AC, then stated that he was going to go in the attic and check for leaks. The AC was blowing cold, until he was up in the attic for a few minutes, then it was blowing hot. Also, some how my heating vent came apart. And since no one has been in my attic since the heating system was changed in September last year, makes me wonder how it got unhooked. Would not trust this company.

Unfortunately zone control still does not function between upstairs and downstairs. Dampers do not appear to even be wired in at all.

Three trips to my home, three technicians (Tony, Jr and then Reggie), an electrician - based on Air Citys recoomendation, and the issue is not resolved. Rushed and not spending adequate time to accurately diagnose or fix the issue. Not a pleasant experience working with the office. I would not recommend.

My home warranty company used this company to install a new unit. They spent all day installing new parts, modifications needed etc. after roughly 9 hours of 2 techs being at my house they could not get anything other than emergency heat to work. Following day someone else came to my house to follow up. Said there’s a leak. Warranty won’t cover it and left. After multiple call with this company and my warranty I finally had another provider come out to look. The main issue was that during the install of the new leak the completely destroyed the main copper line going into the house. They did not pressure the system I was told before dumping roughly 600-800 dollars of Freon. Also they left the panels off of my house and line wrap off the lines. I understand they can only do what warranty says to and pays for but I paid these people 1850 dollars for them to do a poor job and then left me high and dry. I do not recommend these people at all. I hate leaving bad reviews but this needed to be said to help other later down the road

Mr. Rodriguez was knowledgeable, professional, considerate, polite and an absolute pleasure to work with.He performed a complete technical and visual inspection of my air conditioning system; he noted and resolved all of my issues. Going above and beyond, he patiently showed me how to maintain and prevent future issues.Mr. Rodriguez personifies customer service and focus. He is a credit to his company and a standard bearer. I am a very satisfied customer who had a memorable customer experience. Kudos to you, Mr. Rodriguez!!

Rudy and Victor came on a Saturday and worked hard all day installing a new unit in our home. Kristin stopped by a few times just to make sure everything was going well. I have only ever used air city for all my service needs and I have never been disappointed. Great people. Fast and affordable work. Brandon was also amazing at explaining prices and answered all my.questions professionally.

The worst customer service in the country. They have been rescheduling technician appointment 3 times, every time last minute when I am already sitting there and waiting for the technician. Customer support just keeps saying we have no availability, but obviously, they are just giving your spot to someone else.

My entire AC was very old. Air city came and assessed the problem and mentioned they entire thing needed to be replaced. They came the next day and was here all day! They didn’t leave until 11:30 that night. There were some issues along the way but they made sure it was going to be fixed that day no matter what. Rudy and Brandon made sure everything worked before they left and made me feel like I was their family member and took care of me and my hot house lol. I wanted to have duct work replaced too and they were accommodating and came over the weekend. Rudy, William, and his other crew came right on time at 6 am on the dot and got straight to work. They were professional and quick with the work they did! I highly recommend this company. They are all so welcoming and nice and really know how to make you feel like youre part of their family. Rudy is knowledgeable and answers any question you may have. Thank you guys so much!

I have been assigned this company by my home warranty . I was told that there is problem with my coil and it needs to be changed. The claim was approved yet they added so much to the transaction under the title of coding and this is how we do the job . Imagine when you have a problem with a coil and they obligate you to pay 2400$ . They also pushed the home warranty that condenser must be changed with is 1500$ under warranty . The biggest problem is i can not choose another company to do this job . So it either them to charge all this unnecessary things or warranty wont cover . DO NOT HIRE THEM IF YOU ARE PAYING OUT OF POCKET . They will change drip panel to change the coil . Makes sense right !!

I contacted AHS because our downstairs AC unit was flooding the drain pan which spilled over onto the ceiling. AHS contracted with Air City to come out and diagnose our issue. The service tech rushed through the diagnosis and left. During his diagnosis he removed both evaporator coils side walls to inspect and take freon measurements. My upstairs AC unit was still working and was still blowing cold air prior to him taking off the wall of the evaporator coil. However, he said the coil had a leak and proceed to leave the evaporator coil box open. At the time I was overwhelmed and thinking more about the cost and impact. He left without putting my one working AC back to where the cold air wasnt blowing straight into the attic. Then one of their manager salesman came by and tried to sell me an overpriced Aman system. I let him know I wanted the evaporator coil closed back up so my upstairs would continue to cool. He said he would contact his office and let them know, instead of taking his time to resolve the issue himself. I ended up calling the company myself and no one answered so I left a voicemail. Ultimately nobody returned my call or came back to put back together what they took apart. This company is a bunch of sub par hacks who only care about getting your money. Ill be leaving them the same review with AHS. I had to spend 2 hours of my own time resealing the upstairs evaporator coil (which the tech left running). I would never do business with this company.

We have had problems with our AC unit for years. Our home warranty has always sent out the same company, and there are problems every year. They usually take forever coming out, and then forever fixing the part, which is unbearable in the middle of summer. This time they sent Air City. They were fabulous. The HVAC technicians that came to my house were the most professional and knowledgeable Technicians I have ever had come to make repairs . I live in the Sam Houston Forest and I get a lot of questionable HVAC folks come to my home to do repairs. I was so impressed with Air City that I am going to have them do a maintenance program which I usually feel is a waste of time and money.

Jr. was very professional. He fixed the problem in a very short amount of time. He then explained what caused the loss of power and what he had done to repair it. He made some suggestions for protecting the unit in the future. I gave it five stars because he gave five star service.

I have usually had issues with companies picked by my warranty company and not by me. I was an HVAC / Plumbing Project Manager before serving over 20 years in the U.S. Military. So unlike mot customers, I am privy to what quality Mechanical / HVAC work looks like and measure of industry standards. They passed my review with flying colors. Even though I live in Katy, and have a plethora of other HVAC service providers. I would solicit Air City AC of Houston without any reservations. Good Job Air City!!!

I requested an appointment via their website to repair my non-working heating unit. I received a call from Air City in less than an hour. I was pleasantly surprised that they would send a service technician out on a Sunday afternoon. Victor was the service technician that arrived on time. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and was able to repair the unit. He was efficient and respectful. I was so impressed with this company that I signed up to become a Club Member so I can take advantage of year round maintenance and special prices. I highly recommend this company if you need AC/Heating service.

First experience we have had with this company and it was worth 0 stars. The tech Chad came in the door smelling like weed. Look I dont care what you do on your time off but its very unprofessional to show up to a clients house in this fashion. The guys people skills were not good and had a sarcastic response for every question we asked. This company may have some good techs but Chad is a bad image for any company.
