Casey and Josh were awesome from beginning to end with everything. Very polite and friendly. They made me feel very comfortable asking them what i didn’t know or needed clarification about. They were very patient with the walkthrough process and explained everything in detail to my understanding. Their service was top tier and a enjoyable time being a first time home owner. They made the process very relaxing. The communication line stayed open as they responded to text and emails in a timely matter. I would give more stars if i could. These two did an amazing job the entire process.

We just finished the 11th month inspection and have really enjoyed living in our Cityside home. Casey always kept our project moving and communicated any changes every step of the way. Bobby was great, too. He addressed every one of our concerns during the new build and provided some great advice, so we can enjoy our home for years to come. The builder was very accommodating of some changes we wanted to make to the home design. After the build, we really enjoyed working with JP. He has a wealth of knowledge about construction and is very customer-oriented. Ive probably asked a million questions, and yet JP has graciously answered them all. Weve had good interactions with their contractors for touch-ups and fixes. I would very much recommend the team I had to build a home. Thank you Casey, Bobby, Nick, JP, and many others who have made this home purchase such a positive experience.

I have lived in my home at Highland Commons for one year. I’m very happy with my home. The amenities and location are very good.The employees are good to work with. Construction manager Bobby, warranty manager JP and coordinator Casey could not be better.

We had a wonderful experience working with Casey and Michael to purchase our new home in the Emile District community. I work for another builder, so I have high standards, and they exceeded every one of them. They were so easy to work with and made sure everything was up to our standards before closing. There were a few small items that came up on our inspection report and they fixed everything quickly and took us through the home to show us how to work everything and made the process painless. The home is beautiful and were so excited to get moved in!

We were having some painting related issues in our town home and I was getting nowhere via phone calls and text messages. So decided to visit the Cityside office and got some terrific support from Casey and G in resolving the issues. Casey was very supportive and went out of her way to assist. Great Quality of Homes. Love the layout, appliances they picked out and the customer service is exceptional. Their project manager was very helpful during walkthrough and the great service didn’t stop once I bought the home. They take care of the community very well and making sure everything still going well with my home. You can see they care about their developments and the future of the neighborhood. Their choice in location for their developments are in prime location with great Views.

We bought our CitySide home back in 2021. We had some not-so-small requests/wishes before we finalized and they were very eager to make it happen for us, and they delivered. The PM, was super helpful and very very patient with all of our questions, giving great explanations during the Walk Through on closing day. I cant rave about J.P., our warranty guy, enough. I was new to being a homeowner and he was always a phone call away to assist with any questions, and if needed, hed come check out any concerns I may have had. The home and community are beautifully built and I fell in love right away. I would highly recommend CitySide for your next home and will definitely be using them in the future. Make sure and ask for Ryan. He is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful when looking for homes. And bless his heart, very patient as well ;)

We were not even in the market to buy a home, but by chance, we went browsing for homes and found one we loved. I had never heard of Cityside Homes, but a friend who works in home building had positive comments about Cityside which reassured us. From the beginning, Cityside was communicative via email and accommodating with our requests. They did have one mistake on the sales contract, but they corrected it and sent us an amended contract. Both Casey and their Project Manager G were helpful and great! I would recommend Cityside Homes to my friends and family.

Working with cityside during the process of buy our first home was a breeze. Casey was very communicative during the whole process, from putting in the offer, to the initial walk through and to closing. He made sure to address all deficiencies on the inspection report and made sure the home was in great shape for closing. We were amazed at his promptness and professionalism in handling all matters. We were a bit nervous at first to purchase a new construction home, but because G. was so responsible and organized, by the time we drove to closing, we were really happy with our new home. My partner and I recently bought a house through CitySide Homes. The design, location, and various features of the house drew us in. In addition, as first time homebuyers, we were very happy and grateful for our experience with the CitySide team. Casey, our transaction coordinator, was very communicative and helpful. During our walkthrough, the builder was exceptional and knowledgeable when explaining the houses features and how to take care of different parts of the house. If you are house searching, I definitely recommend Urban Living and CitySide Homes.

Update 2:Though I appreciate the owners response. I recommend the owner take a hard look at his leadership team and their practices. Their VP of Construction (R.A.) encouraged us to go through insurance to rectify their poor workmanship. They mentioned we can have CitySide consider any deductible amount to help. When I communicated what the deductible amount is they declined to reimburse some or any of it. Its hard not to feel the disingenuity of the interaction from CitySide and their lack of ownership for their poor workmanship and project management of building a home.Update:Found out recently an issue with the home due to poor workmanship by the builder and negligence from the project manager and subcontractors. The Builder (Cityside Home - VP of Construction) has declined to make us whole due to the warranty being expired. Homeowner incurred a $23K repair cost to rectify the builders poor workmanship that cause damage to the home.Experiencing the above mentioned issue of really bad workmanship, Im re-thinking about the roof I replaced.The average lifespan of a roof usually ranges between 25 to 50 years. However, a roofs life expectancy ultimately depends on the quality, durability and type of material chosen.Reference: superstormrestoration blog article, how-long-does-a-roof-last-warning-signs-you-need-a-new-roofIve had to replace the roof in 2020 for $24K for a home built in 2013. Ive been experiencing leaks that could never be repaired (financed myself) since 2017, so finally went for a replacement.Beware of this builder. They have quality issues, poor workmanship, and bad project management that will emotionally and financially haunt homeowners for years to come.Dont get me wrong, they have nice service people, but the Product their building has quality issues that will be part of your home ownership and for that I have to give them a 1-star review given the cost.Original 5-Star Review:JP (John Reese) has been very helpful in guiding me in my home ownership and maintenance journey. He responds quickly to let me know what manufacturer was used to find replacement parts for the home which is in its 9th year. When I thought I had foundation problems, he was thorough to check the home to make sure its fine.

We just wanted to say thank you to Cityside Homes and specifically JP who has taken great care of us in the warranty department. Right after closing on the home, we had issues with a clogged gas line and he immediately took care of it. He is amazing and is truly an asset to Cityside homes. Terrible quality of workmanship. We contacted Cityside about issues with our house and they admitted it was due to their negligence when they were building. However, its outside the warranty period so they will not do anything to rectify the problem. Cityside VP, Roland Aguilar, said he respectfully declines to do anything LOL. Had to figure out how to fix the $15,000+ worth of damages ourselves. Dont buy from them unless you want to cover for their problems yourself. They do not care.

We recently purchased a home with Cityside Homes at The Buffalo Pointe community. Overall, we are pleased with the purchase. I love the modern design! They were very accommodating of our needs/wants and we do appreciate it. However, we are giving them 4 stars because the quality of the finishes and small details that are not visible at the first glance is lower than the quality expected for the price. Also, there is not light in one of the closest.

Giving 1 star and hope this serves as a warning to anyone looking into new construction with the hope it will allow you some security in knowing repairs will not be required for years to come - when it comes to CitySide Homes you will be sadly mistaken and left with dread, grief, and loss of money. Our home is less than four years old and has required two repairs to the roof, and now a third. The first repair, which didnt take, was performed by unqualified and unskilled laborers and I blame management of CitySide Homes for using them knowing they would be cheaper labor. Within a month the leak was back in the very same place, but the roof warranty was up. Shame on me for not reading the fine print that the roof warranty was only 1-year. Ridiculous, but now we know why because the roof was hastily and shoddily installed. After repair it has now again resurfaced, but I am not alone in this. In the gated community of CitySide Homes where we live nearly 10 neighbors have roof leaks all in similar spots. Clearly not a coincidence. Steer clear of CitySide Homes. In a city where rain storms and hurricanes are a norm you will absolutely find yourself regretting such a huge life purchase turning into a serious disappointment.

As a first time home buyer, I could not have been happier with this experience. Ryan Tejeda was an amazing realtor and made the process a breeze. Ryan was able to accommodate all of our requests and was a miracle worker. The construction superintendent of the community Ricardo L. was super thorough and answered all of our questions. Ricardo took his time and reviewed the inspection report with us to make sure all of the items were taken care of. 10/10 would recommend them to friends and family. Loved the home and beautiful quality finishes. Beyond happy with the process.

Another update, in case you were on the fence about purchasing one of these homes. The majority of the homes in this 30+ house community lost the same piece of roofing when Beryl came which shows the utterly poor craftsmanship of these homes. The majority of my neighbors experienced leaks and roof damage. Several of us have discovered gaping holes in our attics that were apparently missed with citywide homes and inspectors. They do bad work. It’s costing us so much money. We also discovered that they failed to properly connect the gas line to our home which is a total hazard that we also have to pay out of pocket to fix. The warranty for the roof lasts one year, and most plumbing issues is also for 1 year. Do yourself a favor and please don’t buy a home from these people.Also Cityside home gets people to leave these reviews shortly after purchasing their home in return for a gift card. I would take these 5 star reviews with a grain of salt.UPDATE several years after living in this home. The builder Ricardo cut several corners that have become evident since living here. He failed to weather proof not just our roof but the roofs of SEVERAL homes in this community resulting in repairs being needed within a year of living in the home and several leaks. The warranty for the roofs only covers 1 year after moving into the home. So buyer beware, make sure you REALLY have someone inspect the roof when moving in and get things repaired immediately because these guys cut a lot of corners.We just purchased our first home and have had a great experience so far! The home has been of great quality and we’re very excited to move in. Everyone has been very profession and helpful, and very informative

Bought a house in their buffalopointe community and was pleased by the purchase. Mark has been a great person in helping getting issues fixed very quickly and made my life easier.The quality of the construction is good but finishes like electrical switches, recessed lights and bathroom fixtures could be better for the price which is why giving it 4 stars.

My experience with the warranty department from Cityside Homes has so far been outstanding. Their customer service manager, John Reese (JP), has been amazing. He is responsive, informative, and diligent with all the requests. Its been quite some time since I purchased a new home, and I had forgotten how overwhelming the process can be, but JP has been there to answer any questions I have had, and hes resolved any issues Ive reported, to my complete satisfaction. JP is reflective of the outstanding quality that Cityside Homes provides.

We visited Cityside Homes during the week and ran into the builder, Mark, who was nice enough to take time out of his busy day to show us the model unit and let us know about other availability. He was very proud of his work and of Cityside Homes. He was great about making final repairs (and even found a few things himself) before we closed. We havent had to use the warranty service yet, so I cant comment on that, but overall, we are happy with our purchase.

I love our new home! The build quality is outstanding, the location is perfect, and the design of the home is exactly what we wanted. But most importantly, Mark is amazing. *Update Regarding Warranty Requests*My experience with placing warranty requests at CitySide has been superb. To be clear, I have been fortunate to not have had any major issues. However, I have placed numerous requests over the past year and all have been handled professionally and timely. I have to give the majority of credit to JP, who has quite honestly made the process a total breeze. I never had to worry about anything because JP always stayed on top of whichever company was making the repair as well as routinely kept me in the loop. If you have him around, he is a great resource to ask general questions regarding your home due to his wealth of experience. One more tip, wait until the last month of your warranty to request any drywall issues, such as cracks, because the house is still settling.I just purchased my home from CitySide and could not be happier. I love the floor plan and the finishes are top notch. The walk throughs they do with you to explain the features of the house are incredibly helpful. I placed a warranty request the first week I was in my home and the builder resolved the issue the very next day. Highly recommend them if you are looking to purchase a home.

Everything overall turned our great so far!**UPDATE**After really moving in, you start to notice how poor the houses were constructed. Several people in my community are having the same issues due to the poor quality of the build. Rook leaks, corners of the house starting to crack, doors cracking, and the house actually shaking just by walking around the second floor. Please make sure that you get a really good inspector, and check out the roof, windows, attic, and overall structure of the house before you end up having to spend thousands of dollars just 2 years after purchasing your home. I really wish I wouldve spoke to more people who have used them to know this wouldve happened. I know at least 6 people within my community all experiencing the same issues.

After searching and comparing many builders in the area, we came across a home by Cityside Homes and decided we to look.We instantly noticed a vast difference between this builder and others. Quality build, open concept floor plans, included upgrades. We decided on Cityside Homes, and began our journey with them August of 2020. Although our home was not a custom build, CS provided various options and many included upgrades ;like soft closing cabinets and drawers; to give you the feel of a custom home. We closed on our home December of 2020 and I cant say enough about their building quality and customer service. Like any new build, our home has settled a little here and there, but JP who handles all of the warranty services, is ALWAY quick to respond and personally makes it out to see what needs to be done. We can not say enough about JP and his team!!! They go above and beyond to ensure you are happy with your home and their work. If youre looking for a new home i highly recommend you call their customer service and book an app! Shout out to JP for always going the extra mile, quickly sending his team, and getting the job done fast!! Also to Ricardo who oversees the construction in our neighborhood, for helping us understand our floor plans and walking us through the initial process.

Cityside has been super responsive and helpful with our warranty request. We were way past our warranty and they went ahead and fixed some cracks we had and did other touch ups! JP is always polite and excellent at the work he does. He has answered all my questions and listens to any concerns Ive had...a man of his word. JP is one of the best and hardest working warranty/maintenance work men I’ve had the pleasure of calling upon when I need help with something. He always goes above and beyond my expectations, has the quickest answers to my questions, is an open book of commercial construction knowledge, and gets the job done quickly and correctly.I did my one year walk through with JP in November, and I couldn’t be happier. He makes personal phone calls to the homeowner to ensure every work order is completed to their satisfaction, he handles the behind-the-scenes work with any warranty claims so the homeowner is not playing phone tag between JP and the warranty companies, and he is very personable. Any time you see JP walking around a property, he is always talking to homeowners and checking on miscellaneous items. Top notch service from this guy!Thank you JP!

I have purchased two homes already from City Side Homes and each time have had a great experience. The warranty responses are quick and the houses are built very well.

We just purchased a home with Cityside homes and we really liked our experience. The communication was very good. We had minimal issues in inspection and they were quickly addressed. The house is really well built. The process went extremely smooth and would recommend purchasing a home from them.

09/29/2023 Update:The builder has come to check the leaking today, and they are taking care of it.09/26/2023 Update:They were excellent while the warranty was still in effect. In 2021, we purchased two houses in the same community. After a few months of living in one of the houses, we discovered leaks in both the master bedroom on the 3rd floor and the living room on the 2nd floor. They made two attempts to repair it and eventually claimed to have found a hole or some other issue (although the repainted wall remained unsightly and uneven). Unfortunately, a few months after the warranty expired, the bedroom still leaked whenever heavy rain occurred. It was evident that this was a construction flaw on the builders part.Additionally, we had issues with the smart lock for the storage room from day one; it never worked. They advised us to contact the smart lock company for a warranty claim.Furthermore, the garbage disposal was broken from the very beginning as well. When they attempted to fix it, they misdiagnosed the problem as an electrical issue. It was only after we hired a professional that we discovered the problem was actually due to the broken disposal itself.We wanted to inform potential customers that their construction quality is subpar, as we experienced leaking problems, malfunctioning smart locks, and misdiagnosed issues with appliances in two new houses within just one year.2021:We had great experience with the on-site manager, David. He was a very detail oriented person. He listened to all of our concerns during the intro walk through and took care them before closing. I am a picky person but I am happy to close the beautiful house.

Very happy with our experience so far with Cityside Homes. Our home is beautiful. During the inspection, we found a few items that needed attention and before we even asked when they would be fixed; they were already fixed. Very professional, and I have no doubt that once we submit our warranty, they will honor every detail.

I purchased a townhouse in Eado Edge, and Bobby my construction manager was amazing and very helpful and when the project was finished it was absolutely perfect thanks to his eye for detail and for going above and beyond with his projects.

Cityside is a great company and we are very happy with not only their construction quality and pre-sales supports but also the post-sale services. A great example of that is Mr. JP, an all-season handyman, in charge of warranty requests. He goes extra miles to help the owners out but the best part of it is he has a wealth of knowledge on how to maintain a home and who to go to for different needs in & out side their warranty scope.

Cityside homes are a great builder to go through with buying my first property! The employees are very helpful and attentive throughout the whole process. Communication was always constant, and I am grateful for Bobby explaining to me all of the house maintenance tips during the walkthrough inspections.

Update: Almost 1 year after moving into my house I am still very happy. There were some issues contacting the head of the HOA which was an employee of the builder but they finally turned those responsibilities over to a 3rd party in August which has improved the situation. I am continually impressed with the service I have received via JP with the warranty department. He is prompt, efficient and always teaches me little tricks about home maintenance that as a first time home buyer I really appreciate.Bought my house in August and through the 5 month process Mark, the builder has been so helpful and accommodating. Hes answered all of my questions and been there almost every time I have come by, every 1 to 2 weeks, to walk me thru any updates or just to say hello. Looking forward to moving into my beautiful house today!

I just purchased a CitySide home and had a wonderful experience! To start, the floor plan I chose is not only innovative with the Gig Suite with the separate entrance on the first floor, but the plan also has lots of unique windows letting in an abundance of natural lighting which I love even more after Ive moved in.I also work for a luxury homebuilder and noticed little things during the construction process like the Zip System that my company uses so I knew they were using quality products on my home.The CitySide team was great. Mark and G with the construction team were amazing and fixed any issues that came up and gave me lots of tips during the inspection and final walk throughs since I am a first - time homeowner.Overall, I had a great experience and would genuinely recommend CitySide to anyone!

Cityside customer service is BEST IN CLASS!!! I recently purchased a Cityside home as a resale from original owner. I contacted Cityside to inquire about some of the build history as well as some of the contractors that worked on the initial construction to see about getting some issues looked at. John Reese (JP) was happy to inform me that the property was still covered by warranty and that Cityside would help me address the issue. Specifically, I had 2 issues which could have been significant to any homeowner. HVAC evap coil leak that needed replacement and electrical wire (inside wall) that came loose. Previous owner did not occupy the property most of the time while owning, which didnt allow any new home issues to shake out. JP, customer service at Cityside Homes, was very easy to work with and extremely helpful in resolving issues. JP was able to provide prompt and professional service during the entire process. I can tell you from previous experiences, one thing you want to count on is a a company that stands behind their product. Cityside never made excuses on why something could not get done under warranty, instead they took initiative and ownership of an issue and helped bring to final resolution. i could not be more impressed or happy with Cityside.

CitySide builds fine houses. But I want to specifically mention their warranty manager JP. JP is probably the nicest person Ive meet in years, not just professionally, but also personally. Hes very responsive, down to the earth, doesnt pull any BS and very attentive to details. He shows up at your doorstep very soon after a request is submitted, and fixes everything he can fix at the spot for us. He also teaches us a great ton about how to take care of the house along the way.I just wish that I was able to give him more than 5 stars. If hes this nice in a professional setting, I am now just jealous of the people who have him as a friend and/or family.We may have purchased from CitySide by a random chance, but JP is gonna be the reason we keep coming back in the future.

I closed today on a home built by Cityside Homes. I loved it since I toured the first time and none of the other homes I looked at compared. Most importantly, the builder rep that I worked with during my closing process (Ricardo) as fantastic. I was anxious that the blue tape walk would involve me having to “pull teeth” to get things fixed but Ricardo was putting tape anywhere that he saw before I even had a chance. And in the follow up he made sure everything was taken care of. He also did a great job explaining all of the features AND maintenance type things that I’ll need to be mindful of as a homeowner. What I anticipated to be a stressful process was relatively effortless and I think Cityside played a big part in that.

JP Resse; Cityside Homes’ Customer Service Manager is top notch. I’ve represented several builders and my main concern was getting work done after I closed on my own personal home. JP has great customer service skills and followed through with his promises. He made sure trades were scheduled and held them accountable when they didn’t show up as scheduled. I have heard some horror stories about working with certain builders. I am happy to say Cityside Homes is not in that category. From the preliminary inspection to the final walk through they have been great to work with. My reps heart was to make sure I was happy and that everything was perfect before moving into my new home. That made me feel like Cityside Homes really cares about the product they produce. You can go wrong with purchasing one of their homes.

City side Homes made my dreams of owning my first home come true! They were very flexible in allowing me to upgrade fixtures and finishes and worked with me to truly make my townhouse my home. Everyone was very knowledgeable and responsive. I highly recommend Cityside!

We bought a CitySide home and regret it so much. This was our first home and didnt know what to look for in builders, but we have learned a very expensive lesson. Our home was built in 2014. In 2017-2018, the homes in our community were found to have wet rot from poor drainage around windows into the stucco. Initially, CitySide denied responsibility, but through the use of lawyers, they finally agreed to repairs. They probably had to repair about 20 homes. We had extensive stucco work done in 3/2020. We were appreciative of the repairs they did, although I doubt it would have happened without lawyers. However, they probably rushed through the repairs, because In 12/2021, we noted more wet spots on our dry wall and ceiling. When the stucco was pulled back in those areas, there was more evidence of wet rot from the area they previously repaired. In addition to the sloppy stucco work, the sealing around the windows and vents are inadequate causing further damage to our home. It has been less than two years since these repairs were done and the house is falling apart again. Prior to this, we had to have the roof leaks addressed around the vents and large cracks in the dry wall and stucco repaired. Please be very careful when dealing with CitySide homes. These repairs will cost thousands of dollars to correct.

CitySide was very professional, and they left a good impression. The builder, Bobby, was helpful and easy to work with. Our inspector was complimentary of the house quality, and everything has gone smoothly so far.

Wanted to give some additional info on the builder! We had some minor issues after move in, I would say some kinks that needed to be worked out. No way to tell these issues prior to move in. Citysides warranty department, JP specifically, has just been outstanding. If I submit a request, they were on it within 30 minutes. Calling me / scheduling the right folks for the job and always calling to check in to see how the progress was coming. This is just another reason I give this builder 5 stars!

Bought the model. Brand new house. Promised the best and did not live up to promise. Chips in countertops, scratches on hardwood floors, broken tile in shower, paint on custom blinds, paint on outlet covers, paint repairs done with different color paint. Telling me they do not cover any of these items which will cost $1000s to repair/replace. Make sure you look at every centimeter of the entire house before closing or they will not fix/repair. Found out after closing we were not given a key to one of the doors which goes to a separate living area for AirBNB. They are willing to key it to the house master. Why would I want the AirBNB room to be on the master so they can have access to the entire house instead of the room they are renting? We paid for the separate door for a reason and paid for an extremely expensive separate lock for a separate entrance but no key??? Poor quality craftsmanship. Sloppy work. House was built well and beautiful features but the workers dont care about the quality. Paid for custom paint but they wouldnt let me customize anything. Their way only! Customer does not matter apparently

This company prioritizes profit over making sure the place is liveable.No parking inside the community only street parking. Tons of car break-ins making it super unsafe. There are tons of space for them to have an inside parking space for residents but they prioritize building cookie cutter townhouses instead. The houses themselves have so much wrong with them from poor wiring and nails that stick out from the carpet. Carpet arent even attached well and pull up at the corners when you vacuum.

Great people, amazing homes, I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is in the market or is just looking for a great example of a stellar home builder.

Wish I could give this place a negative star, they dont even deserve a 1-star rating.Numerous structural defects on my property and they are extremely horrible at following through with warranty repairs.After only a couple years of owning my property Ive had...-Exterior cracks on my house stucco (front & back)-The AC Unit consistently breaking down-Leaks in the kitchen windows-Leaks in the interior walls due to exterior cracks-Leaks in the living room; coming from the upstairs Master bathroom-The microwave stop working, for no reason.-The dishwasher stop working, for no reason.Avoid CitySide Home if at all possible!!

Bought a new home and overall nice but this builder was very unprofessional and refused to fix issues that came up in the first year that should be covered by the warranty. There were large are of damage in two bathtubs that had been patched so was not evident at time of purchase. After some use the patching material flaked off and damage became apparent, builder refused to address these saying they werent present at time of inspection. Pretty obvious this was a shady attempt to cover up damaged bathtubs. This was also an issue with at least one of my neighbors with same builder.Sprinkler head was also spraying directly into a metal fence. They moved it to a new location but did not work properly, they now claim that its been fixed already and refuse to address it.Overall decent home but dont expect them to honor anything in the 1 year warranty if youre buying a new home.
