So we just bought a house a month ago and my jet tub wasnt working. We contacted this company and when the tech came out he told my husband that due to it being a jet tub, we needed to remove the front skirting of the tub before he could fix it. Took the $75 for service call fee and he walked out. I will NEVER use this company again. I feel they took the money he was done! He didnt even try to fix it. The problem is the water from the tub is ruining my walls & I just needed to see what the problem was but guess ill have to contact a plumber who actually can help fix problems not just come in and leave without explaining anything. TOTALLY ticked offDONT use this company ever! NO the tub still isnt fixed!
I have a home warranty and they are scheduled to come with a 5 hour window. I get a message saying the tech will arrive in 30 minutes. I am 40 minutes behind the tech. Now it has to be rescheduled…WTF. I have to wait 5 hrs wondering when you will show and you cant wait 10 minutes. All for a freaking garbage disposal replacement. I will never in my life recommend this company to anyone and definitely spread it out.
Terrible customer service. My warranty company sent them to me and they did not complete the full service as stated in my work order because I added more items while he was at my home. My warranty company stated he should complete the entire job and they said no bc they only get paid one time. That’s not my problem, I paid my fee to get him out there to fix all the issues and the customer service was of no help. They directed me to update the claim with my warranty company which I did and then denied the update after receiving it. So sad
Serviced my garbage disposal through my home warranty. At first they were a little hard to connect with but once the connection was made, it was smooth sailing. Garbage disposal replaced and ready to go for the holidays. Thank you!
BEWARE! This Company was sent out by my warranty company. My sink was stopped up when they arrived. He was not able to fix the problem without prior authorization, so he left. Soon as he left the sink started to overflow so I’m not sure what he did. I called the warranty company and they said it was approved. This company said they can’t come back out until 4 days later. I had to call an after hours plumber to help me. This company didn’t leave me high and dry but soaking wet! Due to the overflowing sink my garage Sheetrock is ruined as well.
Highly recommend. Called all over town for cost of water softener install. They were the lowest and quickest to come out. Team worked hard and got it all working. Then we discovered a leak in an old shut off system. They offered to come next day, on a Saturday, to fix it so we wouldnt be out of water all weekend. We learned the newly purchased house had a home warranty that told us it was covered. 5 days later and another company without water to learn its not. Long story, we called A to Z back and next day we had it fixed and water on. Awesome, professional bunch, the boss even stopped to check progress. They are on our contact list now!
Both jobs through this company were bad experiences. Both were Home Warranty jobs in Galveston. The first technician that showed up was uninformed of the notes that I left with dispatch. l reminded him of each job, he was clearly aggravated and rushed through them, angrily. The second tech seemingly did a great job until I turned the water back on, and the work was still leaking-he was gone. This began a 4 day battle to get them to return and correct the job. I took video-requested by their dispatch, I got the manager to reschedule, and they cancelled at 7:15 AM the morning of the appt.-which was a week later. They filed an “inactive status” that same morning with the Home Warranty company, which is a loophole that freed them from the ongoing claim. This allowed A to Z to avoid the botched job, and become “active status” again at a later time. Negligent business practices.
One star doesnt even do it less than that. Appointment was supposed to be today between 8am-12pm. No calls or texts. When I called was told appointment was changed. How do you reschedule someone and not notify them. This is for a hot water heater. Very unprofessional. Home warranty hired these People. This isnt the first issue with this plumbing company. Plumbing company lied and told home warranty it was a computer glitch. Appointment was confirmed 5 days ago. Someone doesnt know what theyre doing then to cya they make a dumb excuse.
Zero stars!! Missed their 8am-12 appointment window. I had to contact them to see whats going on. Plumber came at 330..looked at the garbage disposal for 2 minutes..said he was going to home depot..havent seen or heard from them since. My home warranty hired this trash company..do not waste your time or money with these unprofessional clowns. Day 2 and still havent been contacted by them.
This business has come to the rescue not once but several times, if you explain how the problem arised, most likely they will know right away how to pin point the root to the problem. My main sewer line was clogged up, the main line had already been replaced prior, it turned out that the clogged was on by the main line, where it attaches to the city sewer, the GM contacted directly the city and the city ended up sending its crew and the problem as fixed within 1-2 hrs. Excellent service, prioritize and work along to resolve my issues. Highly recommended.
Absolute worst business, we confirmed our 4 hour window and waited home all day for them not to even come to the house. When I called to find out why the guy Randy was VERY unprofessional and not helpful whatsoever. Don’t book with them.
Poor customer service and unresponsive; failed to report progress. Replacement of A/C unit involved having to submit photos of the unit and a diagnosis to the website of my home warranty company so they could approve the work before reimbursing me for the work. A to Z stated they do not like to deal with home warranty companies despite the fact that I assured A to Z that I would pay them directly but the diagnosis was need for my home warranty company to reimburse me afterwards. They then claimed they were unable to access the website for submitting the diagnosis, which is untrue because I have been accessing it throughout this ordeal. All this took place within the span of 3 days. A to stated they would call me back to keep me informed but I had to keep calling them every day for a status of their progress which was frustrating. I would not recommend A to Z Plumbing, Heating and Cooling for any work that involves going through your home warranty company. As a side note, I have used my home warranty company for other issues in the past and they have been highly cooperative and responsive. Also, I realize that A/C issues in the middle of summer here in Las Cruces require an extra amount of patience but their lack of concern for my issue was substandard.
I could not get my water heater to turn on. They came and had it turn on in less than 5 minutes. Very polite. Told me what to expect if it turns off again and the cost of replacing the heater if I need to. I would call them when ever I have a plumbing problem of any kind. I recommend this company to anyone.
Alot of contract work in the past 3 months on our home and of all the companies helping us out these guys were above and beyond in terms of customer service. Same day service for both instances and when they gave me a time they were there on time. Was starting to think customer service wasnt a priority anymore in todays world but these guys proved me wrong.
Got a $102.00 bill for about 5 seconds worth of work. It turned out to be a basic fix of just pressing a reset button. They could have at least reduced the price a bit instead of charging full amount. Note- I do understand the charge is $95.00 an hour but lets just be real on this one. That charge really was uncalled for.

Would NOT recommend them.The plumber came and said he couldnt fix my slow draining shower because it was draining very slow. He said he could only fix it if it was 100% clogged ugh
