James and his team coordinated with me and arrived at the requested time - found some serious mold in the two HVAC units and many of the vents. They were systematic and speedy to clean out 22 vents and offtakes, and the two HVAC units in about two hours and change. He gave me a good price given my budget constraints. Friendly guys too! Before and after photos say it all.

We were looking to get our air ducts cleaned and hence chose indoor air specialist for the job. Mr. James, the owner of the company was very knowledgeable and did a great job cleaning just the plenum and installing UV lights since air ducts cleaning wasn’t necessary in our case. We highly recommend his company for these services!

We having been having issues with our dryer and I remembered a service we had a time before and decided to purchase a Groupon in order to fix the issue. I scheduled the appointment and received an update on yesterday and this morning prior to the rep showing up. I received a text so that we can prepare for the visit. Upon arrival, James was prompt to his appointment time and was helpful in fixing the problem. I would recommend James and Indoor Air Specialists to other family and friends so that they can have the same level of service we received.

James (the owner) and teammate came out and delivered excellent service. They were both friendly and professional.I had (probably like most Houstonians in our humid city) mold growing in my vents. They cleaned, sanitized and preventative treated. I really feel like I and the fur baby with allergies have both been breathing easier ever since. Have recommended to a few neighbors.

I bought the Groupon they offer on a whim and thought Id never really done an air duct cleaning before so why not! I was weary, trying out a new company as Ive had bad experiences with AC companies and such charging me for unnecessary things I didnt need. The receptionist was extremely friendly and had great customer service skills and answered any questions I had when booking the appointment. They are incredibly busy so I didnt get an appointment till two weeks after I called so make sure you book early enough. They come in an in between time schedule, so we opted for 9am-10pm. They were right on schedule, extremely nice and got to work right away. James, the owner took pictures and showed me the mold buildup in my vent box and I knew it was true because of previous AC techs who have told me the same. He was able to give me a deal on cleaning the mold for both systems as he stated there wasnt a point in cleaning the ducts without getting rid of the mold first. They could have upselled me on a lot of things, Lord knows I need it, but James understood I was on a budget and told me in all honesty that I should be ok for the next 5 years with the low amount I paid the day of service and can opt for preventative things after the 5 years is up. Most companies would not say that and try to get more out of me day of service. They finished in less than an hr and showed me the after pics and it made me feel so much better about the air I was breathing because there was such a big difference. The house smells great after and I couldnt recommend this small business enough! Wonderful staff, very knowledgeable and kind. Great company in my experience!

First bad review I’ve ever left...I didn’t notice any difference in air quality or “reduced dust” and they couldn’t even show me the results after the job was done.My biggest issue is that they did a horrible job reinstalling the ducts back to the plenum box... unfortunately I didn’t know this until 8 months later when my A/C tech pointed out the major air leaks. They offer high-quality service at affordable prices. Their technician, James, thoroughly inspected our duct system and conducted himself professionally and friendly. The team was phenomenal. I had called a couple of other places and got scammed out of my money so I was extremely hesitant to even try another place, but then dog hair flew in my mouth and I changed my mind. Turns out my vents were clean so they didn’t even charge me for that and instead we sanitized the ducts and installed a UV light. There was a very tiny amount of mold in my unit. They said I could leave it if I wanted and weren’t pushy at all, however I’m extremely allergic to mold and chose to clear it out. I run a dehumidifier through my home to help with humidity, but living so close to the gulf it’s almost impossible to avoid mold. At least now I know my air system is sanitized and the UV light will help keep it mold free.

James came out to check out our ac insulation to see if that may have been the reason our house got so hot during the summer time. He was very efficient with our time and gave us his honest opinion. We really appreciate him!

James and Lance were great! We originally scheduled them for an air duct cleaning service since we just bought our home and thank goodness we did. During their inspection, they found mold in the air duct, it was so gross! They were able to come back later in the day when it was convenient for our schedule to do a deep cleaning. They made sure to move any furniture that was directly under any vents so they wouldnt get dirty. They cleaned every vent and duct and got rid of all that nasty stuff! Last year, I purchased a Groupon deal mainly for my clogged dryer vent, but it ended up with a bigger issue, mold in the air ducts! James, the owner, was so patient with me to answer all my questions and work out a fair price for my duo air duct system. Then he and Chris provided a professional service. Eventually, my family was happy with a well functioning dryer and clean air. James even came back in a couple of days due to a false conclusion made by the customer service of the dryer. He didnt complain anything with no extra charge. He also reminded me to have them back in one year according to their warranty policy.This year, I happened to recall this warranty and then found out that the receipt actually says two year warranty! Such a great deal! Two specialists, Chris and Lucius, came in on time and did a thorough cleaning. They even cleaned my dry vent, which is usually not covered by the warranty, and gave me more info regarding the vent and air ducts. Excellent customer support and services! Im a new home owner. I bought a groupon voucher to get the air ducts cleaned. Little did I know the airduct was covered in mold. I have two units. We see lots of good reviews so we decided to try it out. Two guys came before the time frame (1-4 pm) they were scheduled, making me feel like I’m late. They did some inspection and told us that there are mold in our AC system. I thought they would use vacuum to at least clean the allergens and dust, but all they did were trying to sell the mold cleaning service ($450). I asked them if they could do some vacuum, they said Groupon is too cheap to even start the work. All good reviews seem to comment on mold service. You should all get second opinion to make sure Your AC have Mold or not.

We were having some allergy issues, so I hired Indoor Air Specialist to investigate. I had originally thought all of our ducts needed cleaning, but after a quick assessment they found the problem and provided treatment quickly and efficiently. They arrived in a timely manner and were honest and efficient with their assessment and treatment. Would recommend.

My partner and I bought a Groupon voucher because we wanted our ducts and dryer vents cleaned. They didnt do anything! Shortly after the technician began in our home, he informed us that our air ducts were filled with mold and we had to pay approximately $500 to get them cleaned. We denied paying right away because we wanted to do more research, so requested that he just clean the dryer vent, which was clearly included in the Groupon. The technician claimed he was unable to clean it properly and he would come back the next day with the owner. No one ever returned to our home or contacted us.It gets worse. Once the technician left, we reviewed the photos from our home inspection only one month prior. There was no mold anywhere in the vents, which our home inspector confirmed. I dont know what picture the technician was trying to show us, but it was clearly not ours.This is clearly a scam. They took our money, tried to upsell unnecessary services, and did nothing. I have no idea where the good reviews are coming from here.

We’ve had a rough time after Hurricane Harvey flooded our home and James couldn’t have been nicer, more compassionate or more helpful with getting our air ducts and air back to being clean and safe which was very important to us with having a 5 month old baby in the house! I had an issue with air flow to one side of my home, and was told I needed to clean my ducts. I called Indoor Air Specialists from a Groupon offer and they came out. I was informed I had a mold issue. Long story short, I was dreading the cost treating MOLD, but James, the owner, worked within my budget, and actually went above and beyond with price and additional services ....this is also someone with a great sense of humor! Sterling and Colin were amazing. They came in with tunnel vision and got to work right away. Our residence had roughly 15+ air vents and 5 exhaust vents and Sterling and Colin cleaned every single one. The vents looked brand new by the time they were done. As they were working, they consistently had smiles on their faces and were incredibly kind and willing to answer any questions. They even showed me before and after photos of their work. Now my residence’s air circulation is much better and my home is much colder for the 2021 summer.

They were clear and upfront clarified what they cover and any extra. The service person came on time(bit early too) 1 pm. I think his name was Dave. He was very nice and professional and honest in his work. My dryer vent was well cleaned. When he found my ducts didnt had much dust he conveyed the same to me. Did no nonsense talk or sales gimmicks. All work was done as per the Groupon deal.I like such people who are genuine and provide honest opinions. (2 years ago I had bad exp with S...ars and they just ripped me off additional $$$ by scaring me of unnecessary cleaning).This was good experience with Indoor Air specialist team. The company invited me to personally inspect the inside of vents and A.C. ducts, described in detail all the steps they would take and I watched almost all of it being done. Horrible serviceFirst thing they tried to do was to up-sell some service for $300, when I refused they just vacuumed my vent grills and then left. No vent cleaning or anything. No proper explanation.DONT USE THEM, WASTE OF MONEY!!I purchased basic clearing service through the Groupon voucher. When I refused the other services that they were trying to up-sell, even the basic was not done! Out of the 40mins they were at my home, multiple times I saw the two technicians sit on the stairs and browse their phones!Reply from business below is nonsense.Im also using another reputed air duct cleaning service to check on the mold scare they tried with me.When I know this business did not do the basic vent cleaning they were supposed to do, how would I believe their diagnosis of other issues??!

Our carpets were really dirty so we called Indoor Air Specialist. The technician name was James and by the time he completed the cleaning it looked as if l had brand new carpet.I recommend IAS to all my friends and family. Came out approx a year ago for air duct cleaning, said I had mold, so upgraded to the mold removal service. One of the guys checked certain vents and said if it wasnt in one vent, it wouldnt be in the ones next to it. Well upon inspection around the house, the mold in the vents was purely random, no pattern. So, he still did not check the remaining vents and completely forgot to treat one that was found, left the vent down. I had to get them back out, to check the remaining vents, which was approximately 1/3rd of the total air vents in the house. I was told to call back a year later for a follow up treatment as part of the package I had purchased. Fast forward a year, I couldnt find my receipt, looked for weeks and finally called. Even though my warranty had just expired, they were going to honor it. Asked if I could be home the next day between 8 and 10. I said sure, I can be. (Of course had to rearrange everything I had to do and somethings couldnt do now). I also asked about getting the UV filter ordered and confirmed it did not have to be the same day. I was told no, it didnt. The order would be placed on Friday and takes about a week to get it. I said thats fine and said Id be here tomorrow for the cleaning. I called approx 1045 am since no one showed up, and when they looked was told there was no appointment. I got asked twice if I made the appointment with a technician and twice I said no, I called this same number and it was whoever answers this number yesterday. I went over the entire conversation, and turns out I was speaking to the same person. Of course I got the it was a misunderstanding line Oh, I thought you wanted everything done at the same time. Stated I wasted 3.5 hours sitting around when other things needed to be done (nothing that can be done from the house). Ended up cancelling service and uv light. Oh well, Im just one customer for them, not a big deal.

Bought the great deal on Groupon, only to find out that my house needed much more work than the Groupon could cover. Apparently my house (I moved in several years ago) NEVER did any cleaning of the duct system, and left me with some trouble (Ill take the blame for my years). But James was great with explaining to me what would be required, and helped me get on the schedule for a deeper cleaning job ASAP. Lucious and another gentleman came out exactly when scheduled and did a great job. They finished in just under 3 hours, which was an impressive feat seeing how many vents I have with 2 systems. I cannot compliment this service enough, and Im looking forward to reaching out to them in case I need any additional work in the future. Finally my family can breathe some fresh air.

They were able to quickly change our serivce to add the mold removal rather than setting another appointment. They were very friendly, professional and efficient. The crew came when they said they would they did a great job cleaning my ducts but they had an accident when trying to clean the drier vent. The drier piece was damaged in the process of cleaning. The crew was honest and informed us about the damage and hired some one to fix the damaged drier asap. Indoor Air kept in communications with me and the other contractor through the whole process day and night until the contractor completed the work to my expectations. I would definitely hire this company again and I would recommend them to anyone I know. TWO THUMBS WAY UP!!!!!

After they got inside our unit they were able to show us the coating of mold throughout the box. They explained to us about prevention and that every three to five years one should get treatment on your AC system to prevent mold from growing. It was clear that our system had not been cleaned or treated in a long time . We have been in the house 5 years, so we were not surprised there was mold in there at all! We live in an older house. We ended up spending about $400 which was not our plan; however, like I said we have no regrets, now we know that our system is clean and has been treated and we can put it on our calendar to get a retreatment every few years so that we dont get a mold build-up again. It is a Pity that you dont get a users manual when you buy a house! I learned a lot today, my air smells wonderful, and my asthma is grateful

Sed a Groupon with INDOOR AIR SPECIALIST to have Whole Home Air Duct and Dryer Vent Cleaning with Deodorizer on my 2-story 2700 sq ft home. My appt was on 8/11/2021. James and coworker came and only did my dryer vent, which they crack the duct hose, that I only noticed when I used the dryer a couple of days later!! They were only there for 20 minutes, and James said I had mold upstairs and that I can use the same groupon when I call them back up to make an appointment. I called the office 3 days ago and manager never called me back. BAD SERVICE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The owner and his assistance came on-time and did a thorough inspection of the air duct. After a well detailed explanation, they did fantastic job cleaning the duct and at a very reasonable cost. I would recommend their service.

Waited 2 wks on my appointment day with a 4pm-7pm. No call no show. Cant move in my house yet cause now without clean ducts I dont feel comfortable moving my kids in. Indoor Air Specialists get 5 stars from start to finish! They were prompt, polite, took the time to do the job right, including cleaning and sanitizing the AC box, ducts and all vents for 2 air conditioners. Not only were they really dirty, but they had mold! IAS made my house like new again and at a great price. I recommend them to anyone that wants to breathe CLEAN fresh air while not having to spend a lot of money!

Here is what my ducts looked like AFTER these guys cleaned them. I cant tell they did anything. Sprayed some deodorizer that smelled up my house for a little bit. I sent photos to James, but all I got was an email asking me to review their work. Well, here you go. Just look at the photo below. They were nice, they just didnt do the job they were paid to do.

This company operates a classic bait and switch scheme. I had a groupon for $45. Lucius and Chris came and said there is some spots of mold near the hvac coil. I did not want to fix it since they said they charge additional $350 and the house was pretty newer. They said with $45, nothing is covered. They did not even want to vacuum the vents. Only when I agreed to pay them another $350, they really got down to work. Even their work is shoddy and do not bother to clean the dirt and debris. I wish I had done some more background before calling them.

Came out 2 years ago and did duct cleaning and mold removal. Within a year the mold was back. We called for our warranty service and they told us it was dirt not mold. Please. It was the exact substance that was there when they sold us on the mold removal. And trying to get them back out to honor warranty is annoying. Getting the appt is easy. Getting them back out is not. Finally showed up after 2 missed appointments. This year, I scheduled the second follow up which was included in our deal, they missed the appt again. So overall, pretty sure it was a waste of money.

James and his buddy did a really good job. They were fast and took really good care of us. 10/10 will definitely be using their services again and will recommend them.

Excellent service and even better quality of work. Highly recommended. They were extremely thorough, informational and were clearly professionals in their field. Had a bit of a mold issue that could have developed into much worse situation if not for their thorough inspection. Will definitely use this company for the foreseeable future.

My AC had air flow issue. The guy show up and just take a look and asked all irrelative questions. Then end up told me that he could not do any thing with the mold issue. He thought that it is a cheap Groupon and the guy did not perform anything . Dont waste money . They are not allow to do my house service any more including mold or any other issue.

Charged premium prices. Left 1 1/2 inch screws on the floor from registers in three places as well a one on my driveway. Puncture my foot or my tires?? Who can say what kind of job this lack of care did with the ducts. Can’t see them and no before or after video. Go elsewhere.

I had them come clean my air ducts purchased a groupon and paid 45 for Groupon but the technicians arrived and discovered had bacteria in air system they fix it for a fair price and were prompt and courteous if u need air ducts cleaned they are the company to call

Dont waste you time. I had an appt scheduled between 4-7. At 7 I was told they were 30 minutes away. I advised them that I had been waiting for three hours. I was called back again and He then said his boss said he couldnt come because it was a liability to get on the roof. So why even schedule the appt with me at this time. He was rude as hell and then tried to say the cost would be $80 more than what I was quoted. What a waste of time!!!

I had an appointment today and 2 person came. Dave and an African American guy.And now 2 small items are missing from my home. A gucci womens perfume from master closet and a michael kors wallet from laundry room. Both small items GONE. Luckily my wallet didn’t had any credit card or cash.Never trust these guys. You never know what going to be stolen from home. I had heard such good reviews and bought their service from groupon.Reviewing home surveillance videos shows person just moving around home and using a vacuum wand without hose pretending to work.I hope I get the items back. And i wish I could give 0 stars to them. So frustrating.

I highly recommend this company! Thorough job, friendly and knowledgeable. He explained everything that needed to be done and was able to show me as well. They cleaned up afterwards as some debris had fallen during the cleaning.

I purchased a groupon voucher, scheduled appointment two times in a row, waited for hours and the service man did not show up. After the second missed appointment, the person answering the phone promised to refund my money. Nothing happens. Now they are not responding to my message.

Had indoor air come to clean ducts then once technician arrived we had a mildew problem they helped me fix my situation for a good price and gave yearly warranty with it i highly recomend them if u need ur ducts cleaned james was awesome technician

My experience with the service is horrible, very unprofessional. the Groupon is a joke/scam...they will say its a basic cleaning which they spent for about 5mins... DONT buy and waste money on the Groupon discount. Definitely not using them next time.

The guy calls me and asks if he can come another day when he is scheduled to perform the job today, when I say no he promises to show up as scheduled between 1-3 PM. Around 2:30 I get a call saying that he is at the wrong address and again promising to be there ASAP and does not even answer the calls. Pathetic service.

Did our 2000 built property service, but saw the after cleaning pictures show year 2016. Did report to manager for ”faked pictures and 1-star service feedback for the service guys.
