RUN FROM SIMMONS!!We hired Simmons AC with an annual maintenance contract so that they would come twice a year to maintain our AC and Heating system. The technician came and did a few things, checked every item on the receipt as done and left.Turns out he should have cleaned our drain line (by the receipt he marked as done), coils, and inspected our drain pan, among other items.The Tech checked it as done, but didn’t even take a look at the inside unit. We called another HVAC guy and he found that the coils were full of mold, and that our drain line clogged resulting in $43.6k in damages. Our ductwork got flooded, our subfloors and joists are water damaged, insulation is damaged, drywall is now moldy…We called Simmons and they did not offer to even come to take a look. They are unwilling to work with us to fix the damages, and have forced us to file a complaint with the state of Texas, and to file legal action if the state finds them at fault (which they should).Simmons even lied to the state agent when contacted saying that we refused them to come and take a look. Thankfully, the agent checked with us and we told them that it’s not true.I will keep this review updated as the case progresses. In the meantime, I cannot recommend Simmons as they were not honest about the work performed and they left us with a huge mess to fix

Serviced my central heating system. The owner of this business is very personable and helpful. Can’t say enough positive remarks to describe professionalism. The two techs that arrived were extremely knowledgeable and took pride in their work. I would tell anyone needing service to use this place. I won’t ever use anyone but Simmons.

Our AC went out overnight on Friday and Josh was over to fix it quickly on Saturday. Texas Summers are too miserable to not have AC for too long, so it was great to have it up and running again within a few hours.

Our ac went out Saturday .. we called Joshua and he came over and fixed it and we were all fixed up in a short amount of time and done correctly...thank yall so much

Josh was very professional, courteous, friendly and fair. He answered my questions about our AC unit and what was needed to be done to get our unit back to cooling as soon as possible. He was very fair and honest with us about our costs and pricing. Josh made this very hot experience very cool. I was very pleased with Simmons AC and Josh as well as the nice lady on the phone who I spoke with a few times. Thank you for your service in all areas as was needed.

Our 20+ year old unit started not cooling. We called Simmons AC&Heating and they had their crew out the very same day. It was reasonable in price and absolute pleasure to have an AC company work on our unit without just talking to us about buying a new one. Bobby and Seth were both knowledgeable and professional. Will be a repeat customer!

Bobby & Josh came out and they where able to find my heating/ac problem (leaking coil) they ordered the parts and worked with me around my schedule to come out and replace the needed parts and get me back up and running. The guys were very professional and polite. Will deffinatly be using them again next time I need heat/ac work done.

First I would like to say another company was out the day before , twice actually and it was still not working. I called Simmons and they Called back quick letting me know they were going to be on there way. No waiting all day for someone to come out . Josh was very nice and knowledgeable. He went right to work put one part on the unit outside. More than likely it was that our filter was too thick not letting air flow properly. Josh even had some filters ordered for us. I would recommend this company especially Josh he explains everything he doing and waited to see if it was going to freeze up again. So happy I called they saved us from buying parts we did not need. Saved lots of money.

We needed a service/repair service for our central heat and air unit. Having just moved recently to our home on Lake Cherokee, I didnt know any businesses locally, so I used Google to find one with good reviews. I choose Simmons and I am very glad I did! Being the busy time of year for service groups of this type, I was afraid I would have to wait on a long list before we had someone come out and thoroughly check the unit. My wife and I also had several medical appointments we couldnt miss and I feared a delay in servicing might cost us a heavy repair bill if we waited too long. I believe the ladys name was Lena I talked to. She worked us in as soon as we could have someone come out. Josh Simmons got to our home quickly on the day when we could have the service performed. He quickly and efficiently went to work and serviced the unit, inside and out and checked everything was satisfactory. It is a real pleasure to see a young man like Josh who not only knowledgeable about his work, but also polite and courteous (a rarity in todays world, imo!). He also helped us get set up on a regular inspection program that will save us money in the long run (also a rarity is when the business tries to help and not take advantage of people!). Quick to answer, quick to arrive, and quick to repair for a reasonable price. I called them at 9: 44 AM and my AC was up and running in less than an hour.

Highly recommend them, They installed a new system after my warranty provider denied our claim, They were fast, professional and did a great job!. I called them back because I was having problems with the dampers the original home owners installed it in a way that one of the rooms was not getting adequate air flow. They came over and fixed my problem, their employees are great, very professional and detailed in their work, they make sure they address all of your concerns before leaving. I cannot say enough good things about them. Theyve earned a customer for life!

Simmons Air Conditioning put in a new unit for us 6 years ago. It has been absolutely great and the electric bill has not been high. It quit working today, so I called them and within 30 minutes they were out here. Thanks for the good work and speedy service. Would recommend them to anyone needing A/C service.

Wonderful family that provides a needed service to Rusk County and surrounding areas. Scheduled a routine maintenance plan with them for 2 properties. They made sure to follow up and communicate with me on the day of expected service and also the time. Even after I had trouble with my cell phone on my end! They were patient with me and showed up promptly and did a great job.

Simmon s had installed A/C units in our home in past years. We had some trouble with one lf our units and put in a repair call. They just installed a new American Standard system for us. From removing the old system to installing the new one, they were timely and efficient. And we can already tell the difference between the new system and our over 20 year old one! Even help me set up the app to control the system on my smart phone!Thank you for always giving us such great service.

This family is so wonderful to work with and they were always quick to come out to address any problems we have had in the last 30 years. They just installed our second unit after the first one just wore out after many years. So glad they were still in business so we could continue to do business with them. We have used them for our rental property as well. They are so polite and careful while working and explain every step of what they are doing. You cant go wrong by having them address your heating and air needs.

Ive never personally called this company out for repair work. Ive just happen to be at my friends moms house when they were called. Im no a/c technician but have been doing service work for 20 plus years and know the principles. I had no idea she actually called a service tech or I would have troubleshoot the unit first. Basically they replaced a component that was not necessarily bad. Yes they complete the job and the a/c was working when they left but to over charge a 75 year old widowed lady is not ok in my book

The service technician was here within an hour of me calling due to my outside unit stopping. It was already too hot and was only going to get hotter. Josh had it fixed and my house cooling off within 20 minutes of arriving. I highly recommend these guys for ac service and repairs!!

Helped us out with our air conditioner on the weekend in a great response time. Since it wasnt possible to order the part on a Saturday afternoon, they brought us portable cooling units to help us through the weekend. Professional, reliable, and helpful!

When I first moved into my home Jimmy inspected my ac system. He found that the return air had to small of a vent and that who ever installed it with flex duct work came down to the vent. The thermostat was mounted to the old return closet that was opened to the attic. Thermostat had a hole behind it about 2” across it causing it to get a reading from the attic and the living area. Jimmy repaired everything to my satisfaction. I later had the ac unit replaced with a new Standard ac and my summer electric bill went from 350.00 dollars to a high this last summer of 240.00. Very happy with their service and work.

My husband called to see about getting our unit checked and serviced, they said they could come out the next day. The technicians were clean and polite, they checked the inside unit first and then went outside and gave us some suggestions and the price. We will be using them in the future.

Lost AC late friday evening, had a tech out early the next day. The technician was knowledgeable and was able to diagnose the issue quickly. Worst case scenario losing ac over the weekend could have been a lot worse. Simmons got it back going promptly. I would use them again.

Spent over $2000 for an AC repair job that still didn’t work properly when finished. When I asked why it still wasn’t working I was told I could “find someone else”. So I did and now it is working properly again thanks to Crockett’s AC and Heating.
