Very professional and courteous personnel. Starting from my initial phone call and throughout the diagnosing and installation process. Jessica scheduled the appointment Milton conducted the diagnostics the same day and listened to my very long winded explanation of what was going on. When the installers Enrique and Arturo came they explained to me the very extensive and expensive repair if I wanted to have the copper lines in the same position. Then they offered me a more reasonable and affordable option. Having done AC work when I was younger they put up with my ramblings of yesteryear. The price we were charged was fair and the extensive work was completed in less that 8 hours.

So happy with the team at American AC and heating Jessica, Ruben and technician team. They worked as hard and harder than any team Ive ever worked with before. Jessica was always readily available to answer any questions we had (we used texting most for efficiency) and a couple of phone calls. But Is extremely knowledgeable and did an awesome job she helped us every step of the way, she answered any questions we had and really took the time to explain the whole process with each of us she went over and beyond to help us and wrap this project up we REALLY APPRECIATE HER. The installation went extremely well, the technicians worked well together amazing work they did I highly recommend them their work is very clean ☆☆☆☆☆. we are happy and satisfied with the new AC unit and the overall process, we are glad we made a great choice in choosing American AC and heating.

The team here helped me out on multiple occasions when I returned from vacation and discovered that my home air conditioning unit wasnt working properly. They were able to get a technician out the same day to sort out the initial problem, and they were able to follow up quickly after that to get me scheduled quickly once the required new parts had arrived. Pedro/Peter, the technician was very professional and knowledgeable, he answered all my questions and did a great job. I highly recommend the team at American AC & Heating.

David came by and was immediately receptive of me describing the issues I was having and was off to work. He diligently went about his diagnostic checked every part of the system to get to the root of the problem. He was polite and professional. He ask many questions to be sure he knew exactly what we wanted. He will be getting back to us with the costs to do the work. UPDATE: After more than three weeks, we still have received no estimates, even though we have called twice since he was here. Obviously they are not interested in our business.

Pete was amazing! He came out and fixed our AC even though it was dark out! Pete did an awesome job educating me on the unit i currently have and answered all my questions on possibly getting a new one! If any future issues arise i feel confident on reaching out and getting the same level of service!

1/24/25: The technicians arrived to my home on time and were professional in their conversations with me. They first asked me to describe the problem I was having, my heater was not warming up to its setting, and then proceeded with their work. Thanks to the expertise of David Lopez we now have a working heater/furnace! It needed some re-wiring. We don’t need to use space heaters anymore and my son no longer needs to wear his hoodie to bed on chilly nights. Thank you very much for a comfortable temperature for our home! I also appreciated the tips they gave to keep our unit clean and running at its best.

American AC & Heating did an excellent job on my house by installing new air ducts and vents. They also did some drywall repairs and placed new insulation. Their workers were very professional and in my opinion they did a great job. Plus this company gave me a reasonable price for my house repairs. I am very pleased with all the work they did.

Upon arrival Chris and Pete were quick to resolve the issue of concern. Both articulated in details the problem and its cause, as well as answering any questions we had. We were provided with recommendations to maintain our unit in great shape. Over all the quality of the service was great!

We needed a new AC and made just 1 call. From start to finish the American AC team was amazing! They came to our home, looked at every aspect of our existing system, diagnosed some issues and recommended the right unit for our home. It only took 2 hours for us to say yes!

My A/c went out yesterday evening and I called the company and without hesitation they sent over Mr. Pete , he came and inspected the unit. If u want to continue spending money for equipment that doesnt work then this is the company for you. Ive constantly called for malfunction on my units and continue to be disappointed. Wish I would have gotten my units from another company

We had our washing machine repaired. He was friendly and efficient. He figured out what the problem was within 10 minutes, and ordered the part and was finished with the callout in twenty minutes.

We called to get a quote on our a/c ducts in the ceiling. A raccoon had gotten in the roof and chewed them up. Milton came over same day and gave us a quote. Jessica was able to get us financing even though we had bad credit. The crew came the next day and had it done in a few hours. They even gave us bigger vents to allow more air to come into the house. It was a great experience overall and they were very helpful! I would recommend them to anyone who needs work on the ducts!

Hunter and his team did an awesome job to have a new a/c and heating system installed within 24 hours of my call to them. It was very hot and we would have had to move to a hotel. But they came through for us. Thank you guys..

Mr. Lalo Garcia and Mr. Beto came over to check our washer. The washer transmission waas not working and it was leaking oil. They both did a wonderful job in diagnosing the problem. I would recommend The Appliance Center and this team. Mr.Lalo and Mr.Beto.

American a/c installed new system. 8 months later noticed mold growing inside unit. Paid someoto clean it. Months later noticed mold in all vents. Had American come out. Told we could pay for a purifier. Told it would take care of problem. Few months later mold was 10X worst. Called again. Another technician said we could install a UV light bit it would only get rid of mold inside unit, not the ducts. Said we would have to get ducts replaced, but its a 2 story house so only upstairs would be replaced. We would still have mold downstairs. Why would I spend more money to continue to have the problem.

Technician arrived when they said they would. Fixed the A/C Unit problem had the malfunctioning part with him. Quick service price was reasonable. Some repairs you really shouldn’t try to have done on the cheap. Many call themselves a “repair man” for this or that but are not reliable, don’t call back, or just don’t show up.

After Jack and the rest of the staff here at American ac & heating did all they can to help my wife and I get approved for a new central air unit, the technicians that came out to install it did an amazing job! Cleaned up their mess and made sure everything was in working condition. They even hauled away the old unit for us. Very proficient and adequate and got the unit installed in a timely manner. We can definitely feel the difference with the new unit! This Texas heat has been brutal on our home. I want to give a huge shoutout to Jack Lee and all the amazing staff that helped us along the way! I highly recommend this company for all your central air needs! They also do water filtration systems as well. If I could give me stars for this review I would! Another 20 out of 20 stars! The price on the unit is very reasonable and they also help you out with whats the best solution for your home.

When requesting an evaluation for my current system the technician that came to the house was honest and knowledgeable about the whole process. The work hasnt been completed yet, but so far they have been very courteous. They came very quickly to analyze the problem and order the necessary parts.

It started off well, Jack was an excellent salesman.The issues began with installation.Day 1 the system broke and was not cooling. A BRAND NEW SYSTEM.Since then I’ve had several tickets with them. A brand new system that had to have freon put in, a draining issue, a new motherboard installed, and now it’s broken again. This seems to be a recurring issue. There have been several different repair men out here about 4 - 7 separate times to fix a variety of issues. I had the system installed at the end of March- beginning of April.I know they also promote 24/7 assistance but that doesn’t seem to be the case either.They were quick to take my money and gave me a horrible system now I have to be waiting in Texas heat for them to get back to me.I’m normally not this type of person who posts reviews and what not, but I am beyond upset with the service I have received and the number of times I have had to schedule a repair for something “brand new”. I had only replaced my old system because I was conned into believing it would break down within months, but it never gave me this many issues.

I called for service and the response was immediately. On the next day my washer problem was taken care of. Thank you very much guys! Highly recommended. ✅✅✅

American A/C come off nice and paint a pretty picture of their services and product, they cater to very low income or low credit customers, they will provide a product that is equivalent to store brand products as opposed to a name brand and mark up the value, example would be product and service at $9k but with their finance it will come out to $24k and when you decline then they give you another price range way less than that. Swindling at best. They technicians did a good job installing the equipment but the unit was a smaller then a than we previously had and would not get as cold to desired temp, took about 2 weeks to correct the issue..Bad customer service as they dont return calls and just pass you to someone else having to explain it all over. Promotions they have are not really promotions as other companies offer the same thing e.i. utilities rebate. Was offered a $1k promotion in a form of a check and was told it was mailed out, when we did not receive it I called on a Friday and they said that they will mail it out the following Tuesday. Its been over a week now and still no check. I called and again and they cant tell me if it was mailed or not and the ppl that can apparently help me were all off today on a Tuesday...very disappointing experience

I work hard in this difficult times ,just like everyone else does,so when I decided with my wife that we needed to replace our old AC unit,we called American AC since there prices were one of the best and you can finance.We paid almost 14 thousand with financing will end up paying 20 thou.Noah our salesman promise in our contract a 24/7 service but unfortunately that isnt the case now.My unit is 2 years old and it has been service 7 times in 2 yrs ,and now they expect for us to pay a service fee?? I can understand if my unit was older but in the first year I have called them around 3 times and 3 times this year.I called today my unit was tripping the breakers and water was over flowing again same issue in May, pictures below is the piece of pipe that was used to fix the issue of air flow,pipe was old and broken.So I recommend before signing any contract read the reviews and ask questions like service fee , which our contract doesnt say anything about them.Specially since a new unit should not have any issues.

My parents have a 34 year old A/C unit that hasn’t been used much in 20 years. I saw an ad on Facebook for a free A/C tuneup and I thought, “Why not just give it a try.” I’m so glad I did. Scheduling was easy and the technician who showed up was/ is incredibly skilled.The tech who arrived was named Ronnie. Goodness, he is excellent. He’s extremely knowledgeable and he works quickly. Upon arriving, he first checked the brand name and model and told me parts needed for it are no longer made, so he’ll see what he can figure out, “First, let’s see if it works.”With that free tune-up, he sadly was not able to fix anything because the unit had some internal damage, but he taught and told me so much!The unit powered on and began sparking. So, even though I could turn on the unit from inside the house, and you could hear the power kick on, the unit was actually sparking outside. Had I, my nieces or nephews, or my senior citizen parents attempted turning on the unit (from inside the house) while waiting to feel cool air, we likely would have had a fire. Outside, the unit was sparking. Ronnie is used to this hazard occurring. He immediately turned off the outdoor unit by disconnecting its main power supply. He let me know cords inside the unit were old and exposed, causing the sparks. The fan did not work and there was zero coolant left in the unit.By turning off the main power source, and leaving it in the “off” position, he just protected my entire family and my parent’s home because (I know) my sister and her kids will eventually try turning on the unit from inside the house.After fully assessing the outdoor unit, he said what he could do was write down his findings/ diagnosis in case that would help me with insurance/ warranty claims. And, he would recommend replacement units including financing costs.He then went into the house to the see the room the A/C cools. He used a laser tool that told him the room measurements. This allowed him to accurately recommend the correct size unit for the space, since it’s possible the old unit was not the correct size. And, the unit was actually large for the room! He discussed alternatives and decided he’d also rec the same size unit. He asked to go into the attic to look at the duct work and he gave me good news! “The ducts look great. I would remove this (old) unit and put a 2 ton unit right here, since it’s already set up for it.”Ronnie then went to sit in his company vehicle (a van with signage) where he wrote his diagnosis. Upon presenting the paperwork, he walked me through his notes and provided me with three financing quotes and his rec for the best unit/ and unit type (in general) for the space.That’s it.No pressure to purchase.No, “But you need to buy from us.”Just, “The unit is dead. Parts are no longer manufactured for it. These are the facts. These are my recs. Feel free to call if you need anything as we also maintenance appliances such as washers and dryers and more. And, if/ when you’re ready to replace the unit, you can give us a call. Have a good day!”He left and my family members said, “He’s good.”The free A/C tune-up / inspection is worth it.* Ronnie shared that he checked on a 41-year-old unit and was able to order parts for that one. So, the age of the unit does not matter. You’ll find out if it works, if you need any parts replaced, and you’ll be left with peace of mind.Thank you, Ronnie!And, thank you American A/C for sending him.

Ruben Nieblas from American AC showed up the same day we called them. He was very professional and educated on what HVAC system would work best for our home . We were tired of the previous tired old system we had , we wanted a smart modern system . The very next day our outside and inside units were installed and the very next work day all the ducts were replaced. Quick to get my problems resolved. They sent a 3rd party tech out and they were awesome. They came and temporarily fixed the issue while they waited on the part. They called and verified it was covered under the warranty and were back to place the new part the next day. We had been having trouble with our AC system for some time and didnt know who to call. The freelance individual we had been relying on, although reliable was essentially the equivalent of putting a bandaid on the issues. The issues kept coming back.So, one day recently my father saw a commercial for American AC & Heating and it made an impression on him. So he tells my mom, Maybe you should call these guys! Well she did, and the rest is history as they say.And by the rest, we mean all our issues, from drainage issues to ceiling leaks, to electrical hazards, seal issues, just a domino effect that kept compounding. Too much to get into here but I will say this: no matter what your problems are with your system, American AC & Heating will identify it and handle it. Very in depth and in detail with his analysis, with picture and video evidence to show and track each of the problems and their origins with what we were dealing with.We knew we had called the right people. An install team literally came out the next day to do a complete overhaul of our system, replacing everything and at very reasonable costs. Jessica in finance was fantastic. I have never had a more infuriating experience with a company than I have with American AC. If I could give negative stars, I would!The entire ordeal started with their faulty installation. The technicians they sent out clearly had no idea what they were doing. The air conditioning unit was improperly installed, leading to constant leaks and poor performance from day one. When I reached out to them to address these issues, I was met with nothing but disdain and indifference.And lets talk about their so-called customer service. Its virtually non-existent. I called numerous times, only to be put on hold indefinitely or passed around from one unhelpful representative to another. They scheduled repair visits only to cancel at the last minute or simply not show up at all.The icing on the cake was dealing with their manager, Christopher. This guy is the epitome of unprofessional. When I finally managed to get him on the phone, he was incredibly rude and dismissive. He acted like he was doing me a huge favor just by talking to me, let alone fixing the issue. His condescending attitude was infuriating, and he failed to provide any real solutions.My AC unit is still not functioning properly, and American AC has made zero effort to rectify their mistakes or compensate for the inconvenience theyve caused. This company is a joke. Their lack of expertise and horrendous customer service make them a company to avoid at all costs. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of American AC!

I had my AC unit stop blowing cold air during a hot day. This company waved the service fee ($65) and scheduled an appointment with me. They showed up on time, even let me know an hour in advance that they were heading over. My technician “Pedro” said he would be at my residence at 11:30am, and showed up at 11:30am on the dot.They discovered it was a simple fix, they were very honest and had a great sense of humor.As a contractor myself, I highly recommend this company in all aspects.(Reasonable priced, Very professional, showed up on time, good communication)10/10 All Day.

The staff was amazing and the install was prompt. Next morning after financing was settled it was put in and the unit is magnificent. Left a bit of dust and trash around but otherwise no complaints.

So I called them out on 8/22/22 because I was having issues with my ducts. A specialist came out and advised me that I could bandage the issue or fix it. I told him I did not want to bandage it because it would be more costly in the long run. So upon speaking we agreed on a new system and replacement of the ducts that did not work. So when they come and install seems he did not add the ducts. Since they installed the ac on 8/23/22 we have not had any ac. Mind you I have a newborn 3mths old and a 6yr old. When I called them the next day they assured me if they could not fix it they would provide finances to be put in a hotel room. Another lie. And today they sent another specialistwho came to the same conclusion the ducts are no good. Plus he came and turned off the ac completely and now my newborn and I are in a trailer with no ac. When I spoke to Chris he said they would come to pick you thier ac and not reinstall on my existing ac? Would definitely NOT RECOMMEND THIER SERVICE TO ANYONE. THEY HAVE HORRIBLE BUISNESS ETHICS AND THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. They damaged my trailer for nothing!!

Having AC repair on my brothers home to have blower motor replaced. Joe the service manager called and said he looked up serial number on the unit and it was under warranty from the previous home owner. This action saved me over $1000 on parts, I only had to pay labor. This is going out of the way to save a new customer money. OUTSTANDING company and employees.

We were very pleased to have Baldemar Vega repair our electric stove and refrigerator. He diagnosed the problem with both our appliances and was spot-on with his diagnosis. Esteban Sierra came to my home to look at my freezer. He told me what was wrong and how it happened. There is a chance my freezer may work after sitting for a couple of days. If it doesnt work, I will have to replace my compressor. Unfortunaely, his company does not fix my series of freezer. But, he told me what to do and what to ask another service company. He was very polite and informative. The best part is that there was no cost for the service call!

Not sure how this place has so many good reviews. Possible fake reviews from friends and family? When they came over to my place and asked for my information like 5 times by different people which tells me they have a terrible record keeping, they accidentally left me a 2 min long voicemail where I could hear them chit chatting in the back. I deleted it. They quoted me for something someone did 1/4 the price. They also verbally told me one price and then when I asked for a billing in black and white copy it showed another price . I told them I chose to do business with someone else and they kept calling me over and over. Only reason I gave them 2 stars is because they actually came on time and the time they said they would to give me a quote. I however do not recommend .

Installation faster than expected.Installer got the new started and mentioned that I should get a call to explain the usage of the new thermostat. Ten days later no call.The same day of installation the new unit shut down. An on call technician showed up Sunday close to 06:00 P. M. He got it running. Drain line was not properly purged. Auto shut off kicked in and turned the unit off.Thermostat has a mind of its own. We have it set at 78 degrees. It slowly moves up to 83 degrees? Still need to get a good explanation for the thermostat settings.Unit runs whisper quiet and cools down the house.Thank youR Ramirez

Amazing service. My ac was fixed on a Saturday at 9pm. I submit a request and they called me within 5 minutes to set up an appointment for the same day. I ended up buying a new unit which was installed the next Monday. Within 3 days I had a new ac installed Will recomend their service

I had a scheduled appointment a week ago, they didn’t show up or call all day. I called the office twice, one time a woman said she would call back and didn’t, the second time a man answered and said they were short staffed. I only called them because they were offering a free service call. I even sent them a email stating I was unhappy with them, even letting them know that I didn’t want them to come out or to use them. Then today I have a technician come out a week later, saying the service call is going to be $65. I explained to him that my service call was over a week ago and nobody ever showed up. I figured since he was here, he could look at my system, then he tells me they want to charge me, even though I told them a week ago I wasn’t going to use them. Very poor customer service and very poor management that doesn’t even know what’s going on. Free last week when I had a schedule appointment and now $65 when I never scheduled this appointment. If that’s how their going to run their business, I’m sure glad I didn’t use them

Amazing service! Our A/c went out during the weekend and we contacted American A/c. They sent their technician Hunter right over. Hunter was very professional and got of A/c up and running in no time. American A/c need more Hunters in the company. Keep up the great work!

I had a new ac/heating unit installed. Milton was the tech that came out, talked to me to see what my needs were and gave me several options. Contacted the shop and told them the AC was not working. Had someone over that evening found that the circuit breaker was off. Ot was turned back on, and AC started cooling again. In the morning, we woke up to the house being hot again, and the circuit breaker was shut off. Notified the company, and they sent out another service crew. This time, they found the problem removed the part that was overheated and shutting the breaker off. Since then we havent had any more problems. Great job to staff.

Our ac gave out yesterday and our regular go to guy was no longer working. Had to find someone new. After researching and reading reviews we call American AC. Right away got an appointment for same day at 5:00pm. Our tech Pedro even showed up earlier at 4:30. He was very polite and courteous. He got our unit up an running. He explained what the issue was and took care of it. They even waved the service fee. We will continue to call them if any further issues . Will definitely recommend them.

Excellent service from purchase to installation of new AC, Return Air & duct work. They even installed insulation over one room (garage converted into bedroom) that did not have insulation. The technicians were very knowledgeable, courteous, cleaned up & disposed of old equipment. They answered all my questions. I just felt sorry for them working in this hot Texas heat up in the attic. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Awesome customer service from the start of booking an appointment to the end of service.Was referred from a friend who just got their whole unit and ducts replaced last month.And I got a tune up done.They’ll send a text with the details of ETA, once in route, and a picture of who to expect. Hunter came out, explained everything going on and showed me pictures of the wear and tear of my unit and what to expect for the future.

Service tech Pedro communicated very well, was knowledgeable and professional. He answered all our questions and listened to concerns throughout his assessment of our A/C unit. He was on time and call ahead to confirm his arrival time.

Our ac stoppedworking on Saturday and for our luck it was a holiday weekend too so that meantthat we had to wait until Tuesday. We called early Tuesday morning to have someone go out there to look at the unit and they responded really fast. By 11 they had a technician working on our ac. Very efficient and professional the way they handled everything.

We called to get support since we bought our system from you, only three years ago, to have it go down. Unfortunatley due to our work schedule, and yall not providing service after hours, we had to call George Cunningham AC. They came without hesitation and fixed our issue, although we had to pay for that service call it was worth it for great customer service! Our system is still under warranty with your company, hopefully we can expect better service next time we call.

He was honest about his assessment, which I appreciated because I am by no means even remotely knowledgeable on appliances. Arrived from Houston to drop off my mother in law in Alamo, Tex. Walked in and it was terribly hot. aC was not cooling. Called American AC and John Menchaca arrived in 30 minutes and fixed it in 39 minutes. So grateful. Would call them any time I have issues with my unit!

My heater wasnt working so i called American A/C to fix it since i bought my Ac unit from them. They come to fix it but tell me they cant fix it because they ordered the wrong part. That i had to wait a week. 3 weeks pass, i call them they didnt ordered my part. I wait another 2 weeks call them. And still havent ordered the part. Same thing keeps happening a month later. I called yesterday to talk to a supervisor because i been waiting for 2 months and a half, had to buy 2 heater since they never came to fix it. They give me an appointment to come fix it from 1 to 4 today. So I cancel my plans. They call me today at 3 pm saying the part they got for my heater is broken. So now i have to wait until Monday. Lets see how much longer i have to wait probably until next winter since the cold season is pretty much gone.

This company is a fraud. Scheduled a service call for my ac unit between 5pm and 7pm. I asked to leave early from work and set aside other scheduled activities during that time to only be stood up. Its like its said 1st impression says alot about a company. Instead they sent over some water tech to supposely service my water that was not scheduled. Now what does my ac unit have to do with my water service.
