Without fail, Auto Doc is my go-to mechanic in Greenville and Hunt County. Their prices are more than competitive, they’ve extremely professional and competent, get work complete in a timely manner, and are really good people. We take all our family vehicles to them.

I brought my car in and had no idea what was wrong. Thanks to the employees, they were able to break the job into several different steps that allows me to focus on the most important and then complete the rest as I can.Thanks so much!So a year later and another car needs work. New tires all around. Called in the morning and they were able to get me in that afternoon. Again great service. Thanks again.

They treat you nice, and brought me back home. A noise I told them about is still there. They told me they fixed it, but as soon as I was leaving I still heard it. But I needed my car so I didnt say anything. They kept it for 13 days.

Highly unrecommended to use this place. They have angry customers on a daily basis. The techs look like they should still be in high school. Not to mention the subpar work they do! Nothing like after you put brand new parts on your car. Just to have them ruin those brand new parts. All because they chose to half way do the job properly instead of taking the time to do it right in the first place. Took ours in to have them ruin 70.00 in brand new parts. Just to have to go to another shop to have the work done right. Which means more money out of pocket on our end. When we called them out. They tried to deny it as we stood there with another very angry customer over their subpar work. Dont waste your money on the diagnosis fee!!! They couldnt diagnose a burnt headlight let alone any major issues.

I will never go back! drove my wifes car here explained what the problem was and left the car with them. I get a call from the tech a couple of hours later saying the fuel line is leaking at the fuel pump. and I quote its some kind of FACTORY fitting on there and we cant fix it. Now, this was a replacement fuel pump and was not leaking when I DROVE it up there so now we had to TOW it back. The problem ended up being a bad inlet tube on the fuel pump that would not let the CLIP ON factory fuel line stay locked on. Replaced it and clicked that FACTORY fitting right on there. Took literally 18 minutes to fix something they said couldnt be fixed. On top of that, I got heckled by employees when we were pulling my car off there lot, real mature guys. I highly recommend going to a shop with Real mechanics, not just kids tinkering with cars.I have lived out here 40 years. Auto Doc used to be a good reliable shop, not any more! The last time I took my car there I told them exactly what the problem was and what part was needed to fix it. I literally had to talk them into doing the job. I should have known then. When have you ever had to convince an auto shop to do their job? I am a retired mechanic and still do most of my own repairs, but Im in my late 60s and cant move around like I used to, so I take my cars to the shop for the difficult stuff or to get a deeper diagnostics to find a problem. Certainly not to be told we cant fix it. come get. and then get razzed by employees because your now towing your car to a tech that CAN fix it (in 18 minutes). they have lost a long time customer in me and any of my family or friends that Ive made over that 40 years.

I popped in on them with a low tire. They quickly found the problem. They were very upfront with my needs and cost. My problem was solved quickly. Very friendly service. They will be my Go To for all my tire needs.

Auto Doc is a very reputable shop that does great work and honestly has better tire options than the larger chain shops and at better prices. They also got me in and out in less than an hour for a (4) tire dismount, mount and balance. Would definitely recommend them! Tyler and Cole (referred me) were awesome to deal with and very professional!

Went to get get my car checked and had an amazing experience. Costumer service was incredible, they handled my car with care and were very honest about what I needed. The owner Tereq was there and you can tell he’s a great leader by the way his crew worked.

Having AC repair work done. Techs were very knowledgeable and leak down test was affordable. It’s a slow slow leak so once it’s found I have no doubts we will get taken care of properly

I had a bad experience at Auto Doc Greenville TX. The power steering pump locked up 60 miles from this location. Auto Doc had worked on my 2010 Ford Taurus before so I paid a lot of money to have it towed there. I was thinking maybe $1500 to fix it. The next day they called me telling me the rack & pinion steering was leaking. They told me $2800 to fix the power steering and the rack & pinion, I agreed to pay it. The next day they called and said the CV axles was bad on the passenger side and the boot on the drivers side was busted and it is now going to cost $4300 to fix it. I am in to deep to stop now, so go ahead. It took them exactly a month to fix my car. When I got it back the valve cover was leaking oil, I am not blaming them for this. I took the car to another shop to tune it and fix the oil leak. While at the other shop the technician/mechanic found it had the wrong CV axle in it and it was losing fluid because it was smaller in diameter then the one it needed. The power steering was leaking because the mechanic at Auto Doc had cross thread a hose. When the owner of the shop I had carried it to called Auto Doc to tell them what they had screwed up, the manager of Auto Doc told him to tell the customer it was defective parts. I was standing there and heard the conversation. My car is now fixed but Auto Doc did not fix it and if I had continued to drive it with the wrong CV axle it would have slung out all of my transmission fluid and burned the transmission up. I will never go back and I do not recommend anybody taking a car to them.

AC was blowing fuses. Ended up being compressor. Took vehicle to them on thursday at 4pm, they had it repaired and ready to go before 3pm fridayAwesome! And very friendly service

We took our truck in to fix they told us 3 different things wrong told us 700 to fix, we said ok fix...they call us the next day and say oh the bolt broke off and broke in a part and now it costs 700 more for you to fix. NOW they do have a picture and the truck is older 2001 with a little over 70,000 miles because its driven and owned by an 88 year old, YES there was alot of rust under there,so ANY good mechanic would have known looking at that much rust there was a possibility of the bolt breaking off, they shouldve stopped called us asked us if we wanted to take a chance on that bolt breaking AND how much it would cost if it did...there were also ways to soak that bolt for a day or so so it POSSIBLY wouldve came out easier. NOPE they broke and held us responsible to pay OR if not have to tow the truck out of there disassembled and not running for hundreds dollars, we drove the truck in there running, we just picked it up it was 999.99 and 840.00 was labor charge and we did not get the other parts they claim were broke as well fixed , this was the worst choice we couldve made taking it here we only picked them because they were chosen # 1 in Hunt County in the paper. I would definitely think twice before taking your car to them.

This is Frank and Charlene. I have lived a long time but I have never met such good people. Such as Tyler, Matt, Nick, and Tareq. They are a wonderful team at Auto Doc.From the moment t we walked into their shop we were met with smiles and professionalism from the whole team. I have a 2011 Chevy traverse that had a bad water pump. There professional mechanics dove right in immediately to fix the problem. As i waited in their comfortable office watching tv Tareq the manager made me as comfortable as possible. When there was a rusted bolt that broke off into the water pump they immediately had a welder come out at. O charge to me to try and remove that bolt. When the job was going to take longer than expected Tareq had an employee take me home and pick me up at no charge. They ended up having to remove the entire engine to remove the bolt. They gave me a beautiful military discount. They truly went above and beyond and did too many extras to mention. Tareq the manager is a man of God and he has one of the best teams of top notch certified mechanics that are simply amazing. They immediately got on job with no stalling. Got the job done. By the time it was all said and done charged me 40% less than what other shops would. In closing my wife and I were beyond satisfied with the service, kindness, and top notch mechanics. I say to everyone who needs a mechanic to go see Tareq and the team at Auto Doc. So you may experience the same that we did. God bless Auto Doc Tareq and the team. I wish you all the best.

Took some time to consider if I wanted to post this. I took my car to auto doc on 34 for my A/C blowing hot. I tried recharging it and it didn’t work. Low pressure suction port was leaking so I installed a schrader valve to keep it from leaking. Needed it fixed so at the very least my 3year old daughterwouldnt have to be in the heat while driving around. I asked for a diagnostics to be done on the system. I don’t ever have time to do a lot so I figured I would let the “experienced” mechanics look at it. My car sat there for a few days and over weekend. I didn’t mind I had another vehicle and I was very understanding about that. They called me and said they opened the hood and immediately realized the starter valve was jammed in there and was the wrong size. (It doesn’t push in. It’s screws in. So if the threads don’t match up it’s simply just won’t fit.) they said they “didn’t do ANYTHING to my car at all except look at it visually and never touched anything else. They said they have a tool to remove the schrader valve much like a valve core removal tool. They said it just won’t PULL out. Idk why they chose that choice of wording? But again it’s screws in and out. They charged me the nearly 100$ diagnostic fee and I didn’t feel that this is the ethical and right thing to do. I needed my car back so I paid it. I also looked at it myself. I used 2 fingers and pinched the top of the valve. I unscrewed it in less than 10 seconds. It was the correct size. Ford doesn’t have a size you can actually jam in it. One is way too smal and the other size is so big it would t even fit in the entire port. So I paid 100$ for a person to open my hood and tell me I messed it up.(clearly I didn’t) they tried to charge me nearly 800-900 dollars to replace both the suction and Liquid AC hoses. I called and the GM yelled at me. Cussed and was overall very petty and I didn’t get upset till at least a few minutes into him cutting me off and acting childish. I would recommend you don’t take your car there.… you’ll likely pay a fee just to get your car back and never figure anything out.

Used to use this shop but stopped bc every time me or my family or friends used them, we all agreed it felt like they would break something in our car so we would have to come back and spend more money. Several time I went for something minor to only the next day someone major would break and guess who just had my car the day before. Yup. Auto docs. This was Not a one time problem. And this has happened to more people in town too

I really wanted to like these guys but theyve made it hard. Id read good reviews about them here and they sounded pretty good.I took my truck in about 5 or 6 weeks ago for A/C service and asked them to do an inspection service also.A few days later, I went to register my vehicle on-line and got the message that I had not had the vehicle inspected. I called them back at Auto Doc, and they said they would take care of it.Another week or so goes by and I still cant register. Called them again and they said theyd take care of it. Even verified my vehicle information.I just now tried to register and still no inspection on record.To cap it off, Ive not received a call or text from them as to whether or not theres a problem.Truly a shame. Finding a good garage is like finding a good barber, lawyer, or accountant. You usually stick with them for as long as theyre around.Im giving 3 stars because the A/C service was good.

I had just left a national chain tire and brake shop and they had quoted me way too high. I was upset and headed home when I saw auto doc on the road so I told my wife to turn in there. It’s a family owned place and the owners actually live on the property! I thought that was great enough along with the customer service, which could not be beat! My small daughter just made herself at home in the waiting room with toys provided by the receptionist, who was just like family it seemed as well. Getting to the service of my truck, the mechanic did a great job on a whole new set of back drum brakes and he was fast! I have had zero problems and perfect stopping since my visit. And the cost was just about half of what the other guys quoted me! I’m so happy with Auto Doc and the staff, they helped ease my tension and completed the full service without any headache at half the cost I was earlier quoted! Bottom line, Go there! You will not be sorry!

I have been going to Auto Doc for years. I have even moved an hour away from Greenville now but I still choose to make that drive to goto Auto Doc. They have been changing my oil in all of the vehicles that I’ve owned for the last 15-20 years now and I’ve NEVER HAD ANY ISSUES AFTER THE OIL CHANGES. The staff is always so professional and knowledgeable and helpful with everything. If you’re new to the Greenville area please go see the guys at AUTO DOC and tell them that I recommend them. It was my first time using Auto Doc. They worked on a very difficult electrical problem on my pick up. Everything worked great, and it only took a couple of hours. Their charges were also very reasonable. I was very satisfied with their excellent and friendly customer service.

These guys were fantastic! Called about a wheel alignment and they quoted me a price without even asking. While doing the alignment they noticed the Hyundai dealership in Terrell that had just replaced all my brakes forgot to add the bolts that secure the brakes! They called and had the parts delivered, even called a second time when the driver was later than they said he would show up. Fixed everything and charged me the price they quoted plus the new bolts.They also worked on my daughters car and among other work they fixed a transmission leak 3 other places were unable to repair. I would Highly Recommend this shop!

I emailed them my vehicle info to set up an appointment. I arrived a few minutes early. They printed my ticket then the mechanic test drove my vehicle. After having it 45min I was told their equipment was not big enough to handle it. Seems since its a 2000 ford F250 4x4 I would not have been the first one they had ask for alignment. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.NOTE I had a friend that took a vehicle to them they charged him for replacing a drive axle and didnt replace it. The new one was still in his trunk when he picked up the vehicle that he dropped of for them to fix.He found out when he took the vehicle to another shop because they said it was the transmission not the drive axle. Replaced the drive axle and his vehicle ran great.These are facts not just trash talk.Decide if you want to chance it. Some say they are great, myself find another shop.

I was pleased with the service I recently received from Auto Doc. The mechanic explained the issue that I had with my car clearly and precisely, and the price for the specific repair I needed was excellent.

My family & I have been going here for years. Ever since they have been under new management they are not worth your time. First incident: they scheduled me on a day they weren’t even open?? Second: I made an appointment for 10 am for an oil change, should take 30 mins to an hour, right? 3 hours later I call them and they tell ME I never made an appointment. Even though when i walked in and said “hey I have an appointment” and they guy took me in like I did.

After taking in my truck to get an AC recharge and an alignment I went to pick up my truck and found a half smoked cigarette in my truck door. I don’t smoke so it definitely wasn’t mine. I took it inside and told them that someone left this in my truck. Brandon ended up coming out to apologize and to reassure me that no one smoked inside. But the damage is already done. My truck reeks of smoke and I lost trust in them. I looked at your yellow page and saw nothing but great reviews but now I sadly have to post this review. If it weren’t for the lack of trust in them I would give them 4 stars due to taking 2 days to do an alignment and AC recharge.

I’ve been going to Auto Doc for years and each time is always a great experience. I ended up moving almost an hour away and yet I still find the time to go to auto doc because they do that great of a job.

Went in for front end alignment. Was told tires were out of round and should be replaced; was also told gas tank was leaking and must be replaced. Repair quote was over $1K. I went to Discount Tires, who sold me the tires. Their computer balance check showed a simple balance weight was needed, which they added at no cost! Car drives great!! Then went to a locally owned and established garage for the gas tank check. The tank was Not leaking. The fuel pump was. They replaced the fuel pump, an inexpensive repair. My car is fine! Not sure about the mis-diagnosis?? Want to sell tires when not needed? Want to do a major repair (gas tank) rather than a minor one (fuel pump).

I was dreading getting my vehicle repaired. I had an estimate from the dealer that was $$$$. I searched online and found the Auto Doc and scheduled to have my vehicle serviced and some diagnostics done. The owner/repair person kept me informed at each step of the repair process. Long story short, my vehicle is running better than it has in months and for a VERY reasonable price. I’ve found “my” service center in the Greenville area!

The service was professional and honest, they did exactly whaat they said they would do. I had wheels and tires mounted on my 2009 Avalanche. They got everything in a week. Another place in Greenville was quoting 2 plus months and then tried to upsell me. Tire Pros will also rotate for free and can do this while they service engine oil.

Love the way these guys take care of their customers. I knowmy friends and family members are in good hands, when I send them to Auto Doc!!!

This is the best auto shop in Texas hands down!I live in Plano and my family is in Greenville.I have taken my truck to them numerous times because they are always honest and take the time to explain everything that needs to be done.I was stranded on the way to work (in Plano) and called Kim who walked me through what could be wrong. After she diagnosed it over the phone she helped me find the nearest shop to get to.Once I got to the other shop they took my truck back to the bay, came back 10 min later and told me you radiator is bad and it would be $1000 to fix. I immediately called Kim and told her what they said she asked me to ask them a (to me) pretty simple mechanical question. They guy looked at me like I had 6 heads and then told me again your radiator needs to be replaced.To say that I have anxiety when it comes to mechanics is an understatement. I feel that they take advantage of women because of lack knowledge. Sad but true statement.I was still on the phone with Kim she told me that she was going to send someone in her own personal vehicle to come take a look at it and see if it was safe to drive to Greenville so they could fix it. I mean who does that?!?Kim goes above and beyond for her customers! She is an absolute asset to Auto Doc and they are beyond lucky to have her! Never let her go!!!

Took my truck for them to look at and explained the problem. Their customer service is great!! They explain everything in detail. If you have questions they answer all your questions.

Took my truck in for diagnostic check Tuesday. Charged $105 thats NOT included in total price if I had them fix the problem! NOT included? I complained & they agreed to waive it. Got the estimate... $1300 for new fuel injector, plug wires, labor & MAYBE have it done by Friday. $1300!! Called other mechanics and looked for parts online then realized the price for these parts quoted was rather high. Didnt do the repairs there & drove it strait to GAINES AUTOMOTIVE in CADDO MILLS, 15 min away. Shane was awesome! Took less then 1 day, found out it was the distributor NOT the fuel injector, found some leaks in old hoses & didnt charge me for the diagnostic!! Total cost... $274!! My truck purs like a kitten! I would NOT recommend Auto Doc... Go to GAINES AUTOMOIVE!!!UPDATE 10-15-19...Absolutely NO issues with my truck. No fuel injector probs stated by Auto Doc. No probs with what Gaines Auto fixed!!! To me, thats a very strong statement..no matter how long you have been in business

Horrible called three days before to get an alignment and told it was first come first serve. I asked to make an appointment for Thursday and told I had to be here first. I show up Thursday early and told they can’t do the alignment because they have nobody to do one. Poor customer service!

Great place to have your car repaired. Good Christian owners that dont try to price gouge you. Up front and honest about repairs. Will give you a call if you request before repairing. Have used them for over 10 years.

I have a lifetime membership for oil changes which makes my visits to Auto Doc so easy. I know the workers are good because whenever I talk to them they are genuine. 5 star service always!!

I have been going to Auto Doc for probably a year and a half what I like about the most is they never put anything on your car I try to sell you something you dont need and most the time theyll try to fix what you got without putting a new piece on it theyre very good people theyre always polite and they always take really good care of you and then on top of that they check on you and make sure everything is still okay your car is running fine so I dont know what else I can say about it I just think theyre very honest and very pleasant people to deal with

The owner and staff our top notch. Almost family like feeling. If you are going be in hunt county for awhile defiantly do the LIFETIME oil change. Never try to sell you anythimg crazy, but they will let you know when something is going go or need to be repaired soon

Air Condition leaking coolant, not an easy find. The first time fix did not hold. Took it back told them to keep it until fixed. They kept it four days fixed a couple of leaks and watch it for several days. I picked it up today with zero charge. These people care and do a great job.

Brought my car here for a custom alignment. They did a great job aligning it to my specs, and even gave me the printout showing the final alignment numbers. They also have amsoil and cheap oil changes!

Wont be back to Auto Doc due to finding out Kim is gone. Ive read some of these reviews and do not agree but thats neither here or there. Taking all mine and my family business elsewhere. Last time I was in there, owner was loud, obnoxious and rude! Dont need that in my life for sure!

I needed my wheel studs replace and they knocked it out in a day. They were very busy but I picked my car up the next morning no problem.

Love this place. They gave me a quote on a repair and I OKd the $250 repair. They called to tell me it was as bad as expected and it would only be $50. Not many places would do that especially after having the OK!
