Washburn Air

The people seem really nice, but will take your money and leave you with trash. Called them out for a noise my A/C was making, to clean the ducts, and to install more insulation. The service manager came out and gave me a quote ($5k, which I gladly paid). He assured me my system was running at 50% and his solution would make a great difference. He also assured me that is all I needed to do. They came out and replaced the fan and motor. It is, unfortunately, still making a noise. I can hit it to make it stop for a few seconds, but it comes right back. They had to come back to do the duct cleaning because they were missing a part to the machine. When they came back, they didn’t clean three of the ducts because they said they didn’t have the right connector. Also, they left dirt all over the ceiling and vent covers. They then recommended I replace the entire system, which is only a few years old. I called three times and asked to speak to the manager, but I have never received a call back. Terrible experience from a bad company. Look elsewhere to avoid the same headache.

We recently had to replace our condenser and evaporator coil A/C unit and we are so glad we chose Washburn Air. They were quick to get a tech out to diagnose the issue, got us scheduled for the installation, and now we are enjoying cool upstairs again! During the installation, the guys were on time, took their shoes off when on carpet, they were polite and answered all our questions. We had three quotes and they came in with the best quote and best customer service. Call them!

Chris was very professional and very helpful. Explained the issue (AC not cooling) and fixed the problem (replaced capacitor) quickly at a very reasonable cost.

Came on time. Jeff was a pleasure to deal with. Professional appearance. Put on shoe covers. Provided a quick, inexpensive repair solution, when a pricier alternative could have been recommended. Use these guys!!

Had another 100 degree day where my ac wouldnt turn on. Washburn was closed and the only technician able to come out had already worked 6 days straight. He still took the time to come out and get our AC back up and running. Thank you Jeff!!!

Ive owned my home 12 years and used countless AC companies for repair, replacement and maintenance in that time. In most cases I overpaid, or was left with incomplete repairs. When my AC went out last night I called Washburn Air hoping they could get us back up as quickly as possible... Their reviews were great and they took requests after most companies were closed.They not only were able to be out this morning to do the repair, but they took the time to show me everything needing to be done, didnt charge me a ridiculous fee, and got my system up and running in just a few minutes!The guys they sent out were professional, knowledgeable and just plain friendly (which I appreciated given that they work outside in 103 heat all day and that cant be much fun!)I finally found an AC company that I feel is worth every penny and most importantly trustworthy. I liked their team so much, I even signed up for their annual maintenance plan.My only regret is that I paid so many other companies so much money over the years when this group was right around the corner from me. Lessoned learned... Washburn Air has my business now!

Wow! Can’t say enough good things. Great communication from the start, very open and honest. We got a mini split in the garage installed and had quotes from other companies. Washburn came in the lowest and was open at exactly how they got to that number. Installation was scheduled very promptly even in busy season. When the crew came they were nothing but professional. There was an issue that occurred (completely out of Washburn’s control) they immediately informed me of it, insisted the would make it right, and they did. They have ABSOLUTELY earned a loyal customer and advocate in our family.

Washburn came out and determined we were low on freon and that we have a slow leak. They topped us off and have us estimates on parts or to replace the whole system. The tech was great! Wed highly recommend them!

Jason and TJ were extremely professional and friendly. They offered a financing plan immediatly once they realized our entire HVAC system would have to be replaced. They were on time and installed a new HVAC system. They made sure everything was working correctly and walked me through everything they did. They also completed duct cleaning for our entire home which we had went years without doing. It was quite a lot of work and they still managed to get it all done in an efficient manner. We’ve used Washburn for many years and have never been disappointed in the service we’ve received. They are responsive, professional, exceptionally capable, and will provide service beyond what’s required. In a recent visit, they not only preformed the scheduled maintenance on our heating and A/C equipment, but spent a good amount of time helping us investigate a rodent problem in our attic. As I stated above, service above and beyond the ordinary.

I cannot even begin to express how thankful I am to have come into contact with Washburn Air. I spoke with them late last night and he was here today by 11:20 am. The problem was diagnosed and fixed within 45 minutes, if not less, and the entire experience was just amazing. He is very friendly, professional, affordable (this was our biggest concern with getting it fixed and he was more then willing to make something work for us both) and extremely knowledgeable about HVAC systems and how to work on them. He will be our go to person from now on and will be the one we recommend to everyone we know. Very responsive when my system went out in 100+ degree temperatures. Quite helpful with different quotes to fit my budget and needs. I recommend Washburn Air for A/C repairs and new system installations.

Update Oct. 28, 2021 Still cant say enough good things about Washburn Air. They have by far, the best Customer service Ive ever seen. We had our Fall Furnace Checkout as a Comfort Club Member. Tom and Brandon came out and made sure everything was operating correctly. Very courteous, professional and extremely knowledgeable. The furnace checked out well and they also diagnosed a problem with our AC system. The TSV was sticking intermittently. I was amazed at the technical ability of both Tom and Brandon and the quick response from Tommy. All fixed up now, the AC and Furnace work great. I called Washburn and even though it was on a weekend, Tommy called me back and we ran through some steps on the phone. He also scheduled a tech appointment early the next morning. Today, Scott came out and checked out the entire system, explaining every detail of operation, etc. Ive been a Washburn Customer for 9 years now and they have the absolute best technical and Customer service possible. These guys are the best!!!My heating system was almost irreparable due to a botched job from a different company. However, Washburn Air worked tirelessly until there was a solution to fix my heating system. Jason and his team were very professional, explained the problem(the cause and solution) thoroughly, and sought after the best interest of me as a customer just by just being honest. We just had a great experience with Washburn Air. They were extremely professional, on time and very friendly. They used shoe covers which was very considerate.We used a different service company for years and only now did we find out that we were low on coolant. Wow am I glad I discovered Washburn. Two super polite guys showed up right on time...and I mean on the dot. They kept me informed about our issue — actually explained it so even I could understand it — and fully explained the repair options. Jason and his team installed a full HVAC system in a detached addition this past February. They were knowledgeable professional and very reasonably priced. I recently had an issue with the A/C portion of our HVAC in the main house( not installed by Washburn) and they responded immediately, diagnosed and had the part installed in a few days. Top notch company

Great response time and sent out a technician within 24 hours of a service issue. Friendly and knowledgeable. Removed 1 star because cost is higher than other individuals I have spoken to with similar issues and fixes.

Had an emergency service call to fix our furnaces. Was able to schedule a next day appointment in the midst of record setting cold. Tech called ahead (was early!) and was able to get one of the furnaces up and running. Turns out the condensate lines were frozen solid. Explained the issue, gave me options and walked me through how to finalize the fix once the temperature permitted the lines to thaw. Very pleased with Washburn and will now be a customer.

We have been using Washburn for 10 years in 2 different houses. The first house had a very old unit and these guys helped us hang onto it well past its life. They always make it out super quick - relative to other places we have called. They are honest and upstanding. I wouldnt use anyone else. Highly recommended!

He’s quick to respond to phone calls/emails for service and arrives on time. Most recently, he took care of a warranty claim on a thermostat and promptly replaced it - no charge or hassles.

I needed multiple odd jobs done around the house, as a single woman I am careful who I use. Great AC/ Heating and also wonderful doing these odd jobs, staying and coming back to ensure the jobs were complete and to my satisfactio. Patrick and Chris were especially helpful and treated my house like their own. Dog friendly being careful my dog didnt get out of the front door while they came in and out. Highly Recommend, 5 stars all the way.

Washburn Air went above and beyond for us. We had two different companies look at our issue, and neither one of them could solve the problem. One suggested we purchase an entire new unit. Washburn Air was able to trouble shoot our systems issues and fix them for a fraction of what a new system would have cost. So thankful for their expertise in Trane systems and their honesty and hard work!

Had 2 other companies come out and quote a full system replacement, and Washburn blew them out of the water, not just in price but in honesty and transparency. I have 10 year warranty with my new system, could not be happier.

TJ came out to do routine maintenance. He was friendly and professional and on time. During the process he detected an issue with a capacitor and got it replaced during the same visit and helped us avoid costly repairs in the future.We’re super happy with the service!

Tom showed up on time and masked. He repaired drain line with P-Trap and T. Helped me to get it ready to pass Inspection when house sells. He also showed me Auto setting on the thermostate to help with lowering my bill. I appreciated that he took his time to show me exactly what he repaired. I highly recommend Washburn Air.

Before you call when you AC systems seems to be working except for not getting power to your T-Stat, check and see if your condensation is draining. Washburn Air has a set fee that will cost your over $335.00 even if there are there less than 15 minutes.
