Daniel C was the technician that was sent to service both of our AC units. He was very friendly and thorough. Called me 30 minutes in advance when he would be arriving within my scheduled time. Thank you C&G for sending your best to service our AC needs!

Buck was on-time, polite and provided a great maintenance experience. It was easy to schedule, convenient times and he offered me services that will help prolong our units.

Buck was very professional during his visit to include on time within stated time range, introduction, shoe covers, neat appearance and exit.During the exit, Buck advised me that one of their check points showed a slight weaker signal than is normal but not to the point of replacement. Cedric is great! Called on a Sunday morning when they were closed with my AC unit not working, Cedric called me back 30 minutes later and got me on his schedule for the same day. He was able to do the repair quickly and get us up and running in a few hours! He is very trustworthy, he also replaced our outside unit a few summers ago and had a good experience then.

Coventry & Gattis is by far the best service provider we use across all our needs. We have been customers for well over 10 years And they have completely replaced the HVAC systems in both of my houses. They are fairly priced, very customer oriented and professional. We are part of their maintenance program, which includes a spring and fall systems tuneup again for a reasonable price. As part of this program, you get all preferred pricing on needed repairs and quick turnaround. Just this weekend,(high 105° outside) our upstairs AC unit Quit on us at 9:30 PM on Saturday night, they had The system repaired by noon on Sunday.. We can not say enough, good things about them and our friends who use them as well also consider them their best service provider across-the-board.

Quick response. Arrived home from a trip to find our upstairs at 97 degrees. AC unit not working. It was late afternoon. We called and the repairman was on site the next morning. Courteous and efficient. Had the upstairs cooling off in an hour.

Definitely recommend Coventry & Gattis! Daniel came out to do a routine checkup on the unit. He was on time, got everything done pretty quickly and the cost was pretty affordable compared to other companies I’ve used in the past. I will be using them again in the future for any AC needs.

This was my first time to use C&G’s service after the owner of the company who previously provided HVAC service to me for 25 years retired. I have a well-maintained, 29-year old system that is near the end of its useful life. Gregg listened carefully to my situation and provided 3 thoughtful, viable solutions (short, intermediate and long-term), discussed the pros/cons of each and carefully answered my questions in detail. He did not apply pressure or scare tactics and told me C&G will be ready to assist when reach a decision. Greg showed up early, which is unheard of. He called me before coming and was very polite. He made sure he had his booties on before entering the house so the floors didn’t get messy. Over the weekend I started to notice that water was dripping from an overflow pipe which I traced back to the over flow pan under my main AC condenser in the attic. I booked an appointment on line with Coventry and Gattis and Daniel arrived 8.30am on Monday. He walked me through the steps that he planned to do to clean the condensate line that drains into my bathroom sink. 20 mins later the condensate line was clear and draining properly and the outside overflow pipe had stopped dripping. Daniel also gave me advice on how to pour vinegar intothe condensate pipe once a month to keep gunk from building up again. Professional, on-time, friendly service. These guys are my go to local company for my A/C needs.

They should be servicing $5M+ homes as their FINAL charge rates of service are extremely...., extremely high. Of course the initial visit charge seems quite competitive and down to earth but they build things up, for either recommended or needed services to be done at an extravagant rate. A visit of $150 will end up costing $3K. I dont know how good their techs are in fixing things but they are very well trained in milking the average, unsuspected homeowner. The HVAC repair business in TX is very corrupt (similar to the reputation of auto mechanics in the 80s) and this company is on top of this too. You will get ripped off in a professional and civilized way. At the end of the service call you will feel very lucky and thankful - it is a special technique that they have mastered well.UPDATE: I wrote a truthful (negative) review a week ago and the business responded by calling it fake. My review was NOT fake! The e-mail address I used is a private, 2ndary address, that I use (and monitor) to avoid possible harassment. Accidentally, during the techs visit my security system picked up some video and all audio of my communication with him. I am seriously thinking to submit a complaint to the local Better Business Bureau - of course my identity will be revealed but others can benefit finding, first hand, the genius hacks involved. In all fairness, they are not the exception in exploiting the unsuspected consumer - it is almost endemic across Texas. The sad thing is the TX state authorities are corrupt....will not do anything to go after such extortion if not thievery.

This is the best company I have ever used for AC. They repaired one unit and replaced a second. They were responsive, did high quality work, and were cost effective. Few weeks after, I had a leak in my ceiling and thought perhaps it was from the air handler pipe / condensation. I emailed at 7:30 pm at night and they responded within 15 min and were out the next day. Pedro took the panel off and checked the unit and determine it was not the unit but a bathtub on the second floor. They referred me to a plumber that came out the next day. Further, they did not charge me for the visit. They truly go above and beyond and put the customer first. Thanks you Coventry for the excellent service.

Coventry & Gattis has been great to deal with since the first time we called. After experiencing the used car salesman from a different company, we called them and the experiencing was as far from that as could be. We were given reasonable options with no attempt on up-selling us on something we didnt need. Installation went off without any issues, and weve been using the maintenance package ever since. The service techs that come are always prompt and professional, as well as friendly which is often overlooked in importance. I would definitely recommend them for your HVAC needs.

If only all businesses operated with such standards. We’ve had two separate issues recently and have worked with Cedric, Lorenzo, and Alan from Coventry & Gattis. We’re satisfied with the product but we are even more thrilled with the service. Above and beyond. Super timely. Cedric was very detailed, knowledgeable, and transparent in showing us what was faulty and getting parts and replacement quickly, even offering to stay and help move a fence panel for the new unit. Lorenzo and Alan were a great team installing an outdoor unit and even answered questions I had concerning drain lines in our inside unit (unrelated to job), and helped us get our fence put back in place…I say help, but they did it all as my husband had hurt his shoulder the day before. Even Lisa on the office side was incredibly informative with letting us know when the guys were on their way, handling warranty registration, and even checking on my husband’s injury. You don’t find people or businesses anymore that strive for true customer relations but C&G have an amazing team. They’ve won our loyalty as customers and I would most definitely recommend to friends, family, and neighbors.

Amazing customer service! Our air conditioner failed in the middle of the night during the hottest week that weve had this year. I called Coventry & Gattis expecting to be told that they had too many other things to do. However, Lisa was incredible - she was friendly, compassionate, and said that, although they had a full schedule, she would keep an eye on things, and let me know if they could squeeze me in. She even called me a few hours later just to say that she hadnt forgotten about me! I was floored that this business, who was no doubt incredibly busy on this hot day, took the time to check in and update me on how things were going, even if they didnt quite have the news I was hoping for just yet. In the end - they DID squeeze us in. Jerry came out, determined the problem quickly, and then showed up bright and early the next morning with the needed part to get our AC up and running. To top off our great experience, we didnt feel ripped off. No one pushed us to try to get a new AC system (or even suggested it). We paid a fair price for the fix, and got some education on maintenance and when to replace our unit in the future. I highly, highly recommend Coventry & Gattis and their exceptional team!

My husband and I have been very pleased with Coventry & Gattis! They have so far provided excellent service, from the first phone call, to the on-site estimate, and to the actual doing of the work today. Their technicians are knowledgeable and have gone above and beyond. We typically have tons of questions, and David and his partner (cant remember his name!) very patiently and thoroughly answered every one of them. They even caught another separate issue that we may have been having with our roof. Its hard to find companies that care enough to go above and beyond in this way, and we truly appreciate it! On a side note, I did compare other HVAC companies and Coventry & Gattis provides excellent service for very fair prices too.

The technician came right on time, assessed the issue, did the job very quickly and charged me a very fair price! Definitely better priced than others out there! The technician was very respectful and even gave me some great tips of how to avoid expensive repairs in the future! Albert helped fix our air conditioner that recently went out do to a clogged drain pipe. He did an amazing job! Professional and thorough, air has been working perfectly since. We have used C&G for years. They have installed A/C units at both homes we have lived in. They do great work. We were lucky enough to find them after another company that was contracted to repair our A/C basically blew it up. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for anything HVAC related.

Coventry Gattis installed our units. They inspector our door Saturday, de them every year. We have only received excellent service from them any time we call. One of our units failed on Friday night. Our A/C started blowing hot air. CalledCoventry, they sent Greg out that afternoon. He found a leak in the coils. Added freon to get us through the evening, was out the next day to replace the coils. No charge as the unit was under warranty. Great job!

Installed three complete top-of-the-line Trane units in the heat of a Texas summer. This company is great to work with. Chris made an excellent sales presentation that swayed us away from another company. The General Manager (Greg) was here a great deal of the time and was friendly, informative and got right in there and worked with the crew. The installers were great. They took care of my house (no dings!) and really seemed to care about working with me to get things working again. C&G beat the big box companies (you know, the ones with the really bad TV commercials) by several, I mean SEVERAL, thousand dollars. Cudos to Lisa who kept me continously informed on where and when. Coventry & Gattis were selected again to replace compressor and furnace.. In 2018, they completed an excellent replacement and we saw no reason to select someone else. Their professionalism, care and quality of work was definitely on display again for this project. Hats off! to entire C&G Team!

I have used several different HVAC companies over the years, and for the most part, all have been very good. However, after an issue with one of my A/C units, one such came out and and gave their diagnosis that an all new system was needeed (which in all fairness was ultimately accurate), I decided to call Coventry & Gattis for a second opinion. I had received some positive feedback from others on NextDoor, and my experience was equally positive after their first visit. Chris (co-owner) from C&G came out and confirmed the issue - I needed an entirely new system. However, what he did differently was to walk me thru not only why he recommended a new system, but he also offered some alternative solutions which ranged from a seasonal solution to pricing on a new system and a couple of other ideas in-between. I opted for the seasonal solution which worked for another season or two and was CONSIDERABLY less than a new system. After a few visits from C&G on this and other matters, I found every visit to be exactly the same - thorough, professional, the problems were solved, pricing was fair and all of this with a little patience thrown in for good measure. Fast forward to July 2019, and we realized a new system was the best route going forward. Chris again came out, offered one-last seasonal solution until his crew could come out a week later to install the new system. These gentlemen were incredible. They were fast (in by 8:30am and out by 3:00pm), they were professional, they answered every question we had, and after the job, they cleaned and vacuumed every area of the house in which they had worked. I would gladly recommend Chris and his team from Coventry & Gattis for anything from service to an entire system replacement.

Tech Albert came to do Spring maintenance May 5, all the usual checks. He said he ran water through the unit upstairs to make sure drain working properly. Checked compressors, made sure thermostats working. All OK. Now, on June 29, techs come back out to clean clogged drain in attic, and we were charged ~$215. Do not understand how drain would clog since Nay 5, and why such a large bill. Coincidentally, our house sitter recently mentioned the downstairs thermostat didn’t seem to be working properly, and she changed batteries. Didn’t Albert check batteries when he was there May 5? Also, since we are out of town we would have appreciated getting a bill from you so we could either give you a credit card, or send you a check. Rather disappointed.

We had Coventry and Gattis come by for what really was a second (or third opinion in our case) as the first two companies were quoting a complete system replacement. C&G agreed with the previous determinations. What really impressed me and immediately made my decision to go with them easy is their thoroughness, Chris not only provided me with VERY competitive pricing but suggested that my ducting and supply/return system be reworked quite a bit to ensure proper performance of the new system, and all of this was included at the quoted price! His Team arrived promptly on the agreed to date and time to begin the work, they were very respectful, professional and courteous and best of all, at no time was I upsold on anything at all, they came in, completed the work and cleaned up whatever mess they left behind. Although it has not been too warm lately, I am certain the new system they installed for me will be up to the task in August due to their attention to detail in treating the job as a whole system, not just the equipment they installed. None of the other companies mentioned the ducting and/or supply/return systems and Im positive that they would have simply installed the equipment we purchased left the the ancillary things as-is and walked away. We look forward to using C&G whenever the next opportunity arises

Called around 9:00 AM for our contract appointment this morning and Tarek was here between 2-4. Fabulous diagnostics and repairs. Our air conditioner system is 12 years old and has never had servicing. It was overdue. Working far more efficiently now. Replaced both A/C units and furnaces in our house due to age. I got 4 bids and they were competitive in price. Both days of the installation they were there exactly at the time they said they would be and took all precautions including covering my carpet. They have been responsive to questions and everything is working great. What more can you ask for?

Coventry & Gattis have serviced our HVAC since we built our home in 1998. They are extremely honest and fair in their pricing, and will always go the extra mile for you. Our AC went out on a Friday night, Gregg located a replacement on Saturday, picked up on a Sunday morning and we were up and cooling before 10am Sunday. Quite an accomplishment as our units are still on the older freon and we just required the outside component. Theyre excellent craftsman, they can handle repair on components and are not techs who only know how to rip out and replace with new. David Yoak came out and inspected. At first he thought the unit might be a gonner. As he moved all the junk we had around it (again so sorry David), he discovered that that unit was not dead, but the wires had been chewed up by rodents or the bunny that ran out of there!
