Our AC installations by Enrique and Moses was top tier. These guys arrived early and stayed until the job was done. Our new AC units are purring like two baby kittens! 🤣 Enrique thoroughly explain the work involved, he even made recommendations for Bon Air’s maintenance plan, of which, we signed up for. Both he and Moses answered all our questions and cleaned up thoroughly after themselves wearing the red booties while inside our home. We without a doubt made the right choice by going with Bon Air AC services. Also, Cody Sims our sales rep was awesome too! He checked in with us throughout the install and was very professional and knowledgeable. Overall, an excellent job by the Bon Air Team. I HIGHLY recommend Bon Air Service Co. for HVAC service repair. I have been working with 5 different HVAC companies to diagnose and repair the same HVAC issue for over a month. I finally had luck with Bon Air. Bon Air was the only company that properly diagnosed and address the issue (leaking coil). Bon Air has superior customer service and professionalism. They are honest, offer competitive pricing, and very knowledgeable. I did not realize how hard it would be to find those qualities in this industry. However, the Bon Air team has them all. They were responsive, the tech came when they said he would, fully equipped, and did not give me the run around or try to take advantage me. Jimmy E. was the service tech and he was truly phenomenal.

Received excellent customer service today from Sam. Was performing our scheduled semi-annual checkup. He gave a thorough explanation of both the components in the attic as well as the outside units. Sam replaced a part with my approval to allow for improved efficiency of the upstairs unit. He gave us options and never pressured any actions to be taken. Want to give a shout out to Bon-Air. We do have a PM contract on both of our units which provides us with no extra after hour charges, 15% off all parts and (maybe labor, I dont remember). Well... We were sitting here on Sunday afternoon before Labor day thinking its getting warm in here. Looked at the thermostat and it was showing 78. I looked outside and the fan was not running. Called Bon-Air at 5:42p.m. and here I sit, back to being cool and technician was out the door by 6:40 after swapping in a new capacitor. I was still responsible for the part and a service call, but I am so thankful it was handled in such an expeditiously and professional manner. Ashton from Bon-Air was our rock star today.
Bon Air technician Armel Paz arrived ahead of schedule and looking very sharp and professional. I was impressed with how clean his service vehicle was and how well it was equipped with tools and accessories. He quickly accessed the situation and found the thermostat was the problem. He rewired and reinstalled it, ran the system through all of its cycles, then tidied up and reclosed everything, leaving cool air circulating in the house.I have been familiar with Bon Air for over 42 years and have never been disappointed with their service. It is guaranteed that I will continue making them my first call when the need arises.
Everything about this experience was amazing! I have been having trouble with my HVAC unit for over a year. The company that installed it came out and said there were no problems. It continued to have issues and I got a referral to Bon Air. The technician was timely, communicative, and found multiple issues. He helped educate me and explain everything that was going on and what I needed, and was able to do the entire service that day! The prices are very reasonable for the services and the customer service both with scheduling and the technician were top-notch. Ashton did a wonderful job! Highly recommend this company.

Ashton was very professional and knowledgeable gentleman. I described the issue we are experiencing with one room not cooling downstairs. We renewed our annual service plan with Bon Air, so he inspected the entire system, put new filters in, diagnosed the issue. He photographed the source of the issue as well as maintenance items that need to be addressed. He presented a status report of the outside unit that showed it was very low on refrigerant. The unit is very old and uses refrigerant that is in very low supply, making the cost of adding refrigerant very expensive. I wanted to check with my home warranty service to determine if they would take care of adding refrigerant. He put together the list of service items needed along with a note to not mix the old refrigerant with a newer type, which would likely damage the system.I inquired about the cost of updating to newer equipment and correcting the errant engineering that was causing our issue. He thoroughly explained what would be needed, how Bon Air could solve the needs.I appreciated him taking time to answer all my questions. His work today certainly gives me confidence in the team at Bon Air.

Ben was our service technician this morning and was very informative explaining what was wrong with our AC unit and what we need to do to get cold air in our house again. He was prompt in arriving at the specified time, respectful of our property and very friendly. We ended up having to replace our unit but are confident that this is the only option (our unit was 19 year old and not environmentally compliant any longer)Cody advised us of several price options available to us and the pros and cons of each unit. At no point did I feel pushed into picking a certain unit or to make that decision immediately. Cody arranged for temporary cooling to be fitted over the weekend until our new system could be installed so that our child could sleep in a cool room. We very much appreciate that care and attention and while we didn’t start the day looking to fit a new AC system (who is!) we are happy we have been given the best service and are fitting a unit fit for our needs.

We used them at both at our place of business and personal residence. It all seem very professional from the scheduling to the appointment, to the arrival of the tech with advance phone call. Our business got the first appointment, the following day was at our home. So we selected the A/C system maintenance service for both our business and home, before the summer heat kicks in. I was only present during my home appointment but Im sure it wasnt any different at our business. Well for a A/C maintenance service call you would think you would get more than just a coil clean and drain flush. Not even a pair of cheap air filter came with the A/C maintenance service call?? If you want filter you have to upgrade your service buy $100 and gets you two yearling visits and filters. While the tech was CLEANING my two units in the attic upstairs, I went to home depot for 2 air filters, and while checking out at home depot I get a call from my wife saying the tech need to speak with me. It was at this time the tech tells me my capacitor need replacing. One is bad and the other is half way there. I thought for a second and agreed, change them. on my way home i was thinking, the tech cleaned two units in the attic walked downstair and got his gages from his truck and walk over to the units and checked them all in 30mins?? Two capacitor and $400 dollar more to the $200 cleaning. maintenance cost, no filters. So now that the A/C units are running a optimal capacity the tech tells me, you are low on coolant which mean you have a leak. And if you purchase 2lb/$200 worth of coolant I can conduct a leak detection at no cost???? WHAT!! No cost! So I ask, isnt that part of maintenance to check for leaks, and obviously the answer was NO. And why did it have to be 2lbs, why not one?? After the leak was found in one of the coils that the tech initially cleaned, in form of a rust spot. I thought to myself, this guy didnt clean my coil right, he left rust on them.. Well after this experience I want to thank Bon Air for teaching me the real meaning of the word maintenance means wash or clean. And Alex, the Customer service manager, how he made it very clean that I didnt have to get these service if I didnt want to. And how Bon Air has honestly served the area for 50yrs. I wouldnt know if they are honest or not. I can only speak of my experience. I still dont understand after all this work done on my A/c and the leak found why they couldnt get me a quote in person or over the phone to replace the coil. They told me I have to make another appointment for that. I hope those 2lbs/$200 dollar of coolant dont evaporate over night.. and at our business the unit was fine, but they did leave a $1700 update to do list if i ever want to get done on a perfectly good running system...And Bon employee dont get commissions???

LEFT US WITH NO A/C FOR TWO MONTHS DURING A HEATWAVE!Told my wife and I that they could fix our A/C in two weeks before the end of May. By June we had to practically beg for a temporary A/C unit. They brought us a portable toshiba unit that goes for about $200~$300 from home depot. It came with a mysterious wooden box, that my wife and I had assumed was just a platform for it. As June progressed and the Texas summer heat set in, we tried calling them about fixing our A/C. There was no response. We continued to rely on the toshiba unit until the box beneath it began leaking water all over our carpet and mattress (which we had moved in order to sleep in the cool). Turned out the toshiba unit was filling the wooden box with water the whole time. We had run out of patience completely and called a different company, who fixed our A/C in a matter of days. Later in July, Bon Air called us back, we told them what happened. A man named Cody was incredibly hostile to me over the phone and the very same day rushed out to our home to pick up the toshiba unit and soggy box. He had only excuses and no apologies to offer. Even tried to get on a technicality and insisted on plugging the toshiba unit in to check that it worked, saying it was a very expensive piece of equipment. It worked fine, Cody seemed disappointed, but at least finally hauled it and the soggy box away. Would not recommend this company ever. Attached our photos of the water damage.

We are very pleased with our new AC/heater installation -- team kept us informed all along the way and checked in often.
My first contact was with Customer Service at around 4PM, when I came home to discover my AC not cooling. She was able to schedule me right away and with a tech, Jason C, that was experienced with my type of system. They kept me informed before the techs arrival so I knew when to expect them. The tech was knowledgeable, polite, and explained everything in detail that he found during his inspection of my System. He temporarily fixed my system, until I can get a new motor for the outside unit, and got my house cooled down faster by replacing my filters as well. He made recommendations and gave me an estimate for the repair. I will definitely use them again!
This team is top notch! When our outdoor unit went down, I spoke with Cody who gave me plenty of information over the phone. He was extremely knowledgeable giving me options and possible issues that I could self-diagnose. I could tell that he was ultimately out to help and not treating me like just another opportunity to make money. After the determination that the coil had a leak resulting in a total loss of freon the guys at Bon Air were prompt in getting me on schedule and showing up ahead of the time quoted. Eric & Alex came to evaluate the situation and proposed a fix that would get us back up and my family home. They completed the work in no time and at a better price than originally quoted. These guys know their stuff and I am grateful for the attention to detail, workmanship and integrity that this company provides. You will not regret working with Bon Air, I will be using them for all my HVAC needs going forward. THANK YOU GUYS!!!!

DON”T LOOK ANY FURTHER!!!! This is the best hvac company in Texas. After browsing several places and looking for an honest tech to come fix our air conditioner,we found it with Bon Air. First we had a different company tell us our motor was bad and was gonna charge us a lot of money. Didn’t seem right so wanted to get a second look. I came across Bon Air , read some good reviews and decided to give them a call. Danielle was the ladies name (I believe) I spoke to when I first called to set a time up for a tech to come out, earliest time was gonna be the following morning which was fine, but a short time after she called me back letting me know they had a tech available that could come out right away. We have gone 48 hours without air at this point so this was good news. The technician Erik, arrived shortly after He was very nice and detailed in his work looking for the issue. After finding a fuse blown caused by an outside wire shorting out , he was able to fix it very quick and before you know we had ice cold air blowing again. After being lied to from a different place that obviously had no idea what they were talking about and we would have wasted over a thousand dollars buying a motor and still not having the issue taken care of, Bon Air and Erik did an awesome HONEST job and we are truly thankful. It’s hard to find loyal people in certain businesses. They have a lifetime customer out of us and I strongly recommend them. Thank you very much for the great experience and customer service. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! They will rip you off!!I called Bon Air to fix my A/C on May 31st. The 1st tech (Ben) came out to look at my issue. He tried to talk over my head and take advantage of me not knowing much about how the A/C works. He claimed to have 30yrs experience with A/C work but had me call the company I worked with previously who installed my condenser because he didnt understand how the setup was working.He then sold me a feature/solution that cost $1500. The installation ended up taking 3 days and one of those days was my day off from work; my time was completely wasted. After he left, a few days later, my A/C was back on the fritz, and the problem got worse when I noticed my carpet was flooding where my A/C unit was.I had to call Bon Air AGAIN to have a 2nd tech (I dont recall his name) come out. This time, I had my Dad there with me so they wouldnt talk over my head or try to sell me another feature that didnt work. My Dad basically ended up telling them how to fix the flooding issue. The 2nd tech also found another issue that the 1st tech never even mentioned or checked; which I got fixed by another company because basically, I dont trust their business at this point.The 2nd tech explained to his boss the situation, and after they got an earful from my dad, they knocked the price down to $800+. But Bon Air never rectified my now mildewed carpet or paid for any inconvenience caused or time wasted.They do bad business, take advantage of people, and Im going to report them to the BBB. I shouldnt have to pay for this kind of service!!

Hear me out...Originally had two new units installed by another company (RCH&A); lets see if you can guess that company. Different technicians came out over the course of almost 2 years (units are less than 2 years old). Each time someone came out they told me all the things wrong the previous tech was responsible for. Well, I got tired of calling them for issues and only getting excuses. Today I called Bon Air because I was, yet again, having issues. They were able to get a technician out the same day to me (as a new customer). Jimmy came out and took a thorough look. He explained to me what he saw and educated me on a few things. He also provided pictures of what he found and provided understandable explanations. He did NOT try to charge me for every little thing. I only paid the call-out fee. There was no, attempt to sale me parts or tell me that I needed something that I really didnt need. I wish I could go back in time and have this company do the install for the systems I have now. It would have saved me lots of money knowing I didnt get the guy that graduated, in the bottom of his class, installing my equipment. Thank you Bon Air!

They were more concerned with signing me up for a service package than fixing my air conditioning in the middle of summer. When i made appointment for diagnostic of the problem they said i could get appointments sooner as priority if i paid for and joined service package. I declined, Then got another call a few hours later about the package and becoming a priority. Why would i join before i even meet technicians! I canceled appointment and even on that call got smooth talking

They replaced two ceiling registers (12 ft. up to the ceiling) in our living room, fixed a broken register in a bedroom and fine-tuned the dampers in the air ducts in the attic. My elderly mothers heat wasnt working. Shes very money savvy (Nudge, nudge) and doesnt need an expensive repair, right now. That being said. Our 12 year old downstairs unit quit working on a July Sunday evening. I called Bon Air Monday morning and they were able to get us on the schedule that day. The tech Armel showed up and went straight to work diagnosing what our problem was. In short order, Armel had put together a repair estimate for me to review and after giving him the ‘go ahead’, he was back at it getting us cooling down again. I appreciated Armel explaining what he was checking for as he worked and the additional recommendations he had for me to consider as both our units are older. Excellent experience. The technician Ben covered safety checking and tune-up as required. Checked everything outside units and attic units thoroughly.He sent me the paid invoice. I didnt get the significant pictures and any recommendations in writing. E.g. surge protector device,etc..
Every time we have an issue with our Trane ac unit, Bon Air will come out as many times as it takes to find the issue and fix it. Eric is the best - he correctly identified the problem we were having and fixed it. Would not use any other company. Most of our neighbors use Bon Air too.
Bon Air Service Co., owned and operated by Martin Caballero, provide honest and excellent work. We have invested in their semi-annual maintenance program where they come out twice a year and perform service on our AC and heating furnace units. We see this as an investment as it is worth it to us. Jason Chalmers was the technician assigned to service our furnace unit. His knowledge as well as his professionalism were on point, as he identified a minor issue that could have developed into a major headache. As a result, we are good to go for the winter season...as long as the power-grid doesnt fail.

First class high efficiency heat pump installation. Wore booties and put down protective floor covering. Installed new floor in the furnacr closet and used duct seal to cover the seams of the custom built transition. Upgraded the service disconnects both inside and outside to bring everything up to code. They put down and leveled a new pad before setting the condensing unit. They fabricated a new line-set cover and replaced the suction line insulation with new. After they finished the installation, they left the floors cleaner than before they arrived. Very polite and professional in every aspect from start to finish. How do I know they did an excellent job? Im a retired HVAC professional.
Excellent service! Our Ac went out on the hottest day of summer, it being a holiday weekend no one would come out and take a look. We have worked with Bon Air for many years, they kept our old system going even though our master bedroom never got as cold as we would have liked because it is the farthest room away from the air handler. When it came time to replace the system we received several quotes from other AC companies with different designs to solve our warm bedroom issue. We considered going back to two smaller basic systems. Bon Air returned multiple times to research and design a state of the art system. Most importantly they took the time to explain how the zones and variable speed system would operate. In the end I decided to go with Bon Air due to our long relationship. They installed the new system last December and it operated fine during the heating season. Now that the weather has warmed up and we are using the AC it is performing great. We are able to control the zones effectively and our master bedroom gets as cold as we want. We really appreciate that the team at Bon Air helped us through the decision process, thanks very much!

Just an okay experience. I liked the guy that came out, but he made me hold his ladder that he leaned up against my attic instead of opening it up. He also watched some unrelated random videos while he was up in my attic (Sounded like tiktok, but I digress, I don’t think he knew I stayed upstairs). Young guy. Seemed nice. I don’t know exactly what he did or checked. He also left tools in my attic and had to come back later (which is totally okay, I understand things happen). I also understand it’s tough to maneuver a ladder up the stairs, but my walls are scratched up a bit from that. This is the first time I’ve had anyone out to look at my stuff as a first time home buyer. I just would’ve liked more information and transparency about what he did.

My HVAC system started have issues summer 22’ and I was using a different company. The system finally completely broke and my options were to repair or replace. I knew I was looking at a $5k in repairs or $8k to replace so I decided I would save the $8k and make it through winter with space heaters. Once I reached my financial goal I decided I would get quotes from other places first before going with the company (I was less than impressed with their service). As spring was approaching so we’re the temps in my home reaching almost 95° so it was time to shop around.From the very first phone call to schedule someone to come out and give me a quote, (he was there within an hour) until the last person from Bon Air left my home (just one week later), the customer service was above and beyond! I was very happy with the friendly and courteous service that I received from the Bon Air team.Cody Sims began the process by constructing a very detailed estimate to update my three heat pump systems and bring the insulation in my attic up to a level to support the energy conservation of the units. He presented and painstakingly went over the options I had and designed a proposal that promoted energy saving, optimal efficiency, included thousands of dollars in rebates and savings and a long term warranty option to protect my investment, if I chose. After a week of agonizing over a decision and having Cody help nurture my processing, I, then, confidently, signed on the dotted line.Installation days were rainy and cool. The installation team worked two 14 hour days and got the job done right, in spite of the mud and the terrible humidity. They were very polite, courteous, friendly, happy, and very hard workers. There was no standing around. They seemed well supervised and trained and were always moving. I was obviously impressed with their skill set and work ethic, but I was even more impressed with how they kept my house and yard clean and clear of construction debris. They got the job done quickly, efficiently and in a very professional manner.At the end of the second day, it was very late and the installation was complete, but, the supervisor gladly spent time and gave me a mini-training in regard to my wonderful new thermostats. He was very patient and I never felt like he was in a rush to finish and go home until the job was complete and everything was up and running and I was happy with the results.I consider myself to be a very satisfied customer and a big fan of Bon Airs Professional Team. We have had occasions where we arrived home after work, nearing 6:00 PM, and the A/C motor is not working. We called and they sent a person. I cant say they are the least expensive, but I have not felt that they charged too much for their service. For more than 10 years we have subscribed to the twice a year checkup. That has always been a great value for us.

I cant speak highly enough about Hector and Bon Air. Friday afternoon in the middle of June, our AC blower motor went out. Spent all evening trying to find the replacement part and the next morning running all over the metroplex looking for a place to help us. We eventually made it to Bon Air, and Hector went way above and beyond to locate the part. He and his manager made it possible to get the correct blower motor on a Saturday when most businesses wouldnt be available until Monday. Now we can fix the AC issue, and my pregnant wife wont be miserable in the heat, all thanks to Hector and Bon Air. I know all of my future business will be with Bon Air.

I can not believe how awesome this all turned out. My AC went out last night. I called this morning, spoke to a very nice man and he said someone was in the area and could be at my house in next few hours. !!!!! This does not happen in Dallas in the summertime. This place is a joke. An expensive joke. I got 4 quotes and Bon Air seemed very professional so I went with them. They replaced the outside unit, coils and blower. However, I am constantly calling them to fix this problem they installed. It NEVER cools. Their 4 ton system has to cool ONE room with an oven in it and it wont work. Im constantly changing the filters yet they come out and tell me thats my problem and charge me almost $300/pop to come out and insult me. Last time they came out and said there was 4 lbs of extra coolant in the system and basically called me a liar when I told them theyve been the only ones to come out. I only call them back out because I want them to fix their stuff but now Im done with this company. If you are a woman, do not use this company. All they do is soak you for every dollar they can squeeze from you and still leave you with a system that cant cool below 90 deg. Run, run away!!!
In the summer of 2016 I totally renovated my house including the central air and heat pump. I got three apples to apples estimates. Bon Air knocked the other two A/C companies out. Bon Airs estimate was considerably less. Their installation was fast, professional and without any problems. They continued to service my a/c every year and kept it running well. Most recently it went out; making it unbearable for me and my home bound wife who was recovering from surgery. They came out IMMEDIATELY and handled the issue. Even more recently, there was a compatibility issue between the inside and outside unit. Again, they handled this issue professionally and without charge. They will continue to have my business and my recommendation to others.
My repairman Eric was very very professional and patiently answered all of my questions. The young lady who scheduled my service appointment was also very professional and kind. The repair cost was reasonable.My experience with this company has been very good. The yearly service agreement has given me peace of mind.

We appreciated the service to our A/C unit that we received from Bon Air Service. We called because of a drainage issue that resulted in the condenser drain pan overflowing. The service tech was very helpful and conscientious. He told us up front of the replacement cost of a drain pipe so that we could decide if we wanted the work. After replacing the bad pipe, he performed a thorough check on our A/C system. We have no complaints.
I contacted Bon Air after hours on a Friday night because our upstairs AC unit was not cooling. I explained that I wanted someone to come out on a Monday. Someone from Bon Air called me back on Sunday to confirm my appointment time on Monday. The technician that came out was very knowledgeable and was able to explain what was happening and gave us suggestions on how to proceed to get the unit cooling again. I was very impressed with everything from the initial contact to the finished job by Bon Air Service. Thank you and I will definitely share your information with my friends and family.
The BEST air service ever!!! Ive never had any issues at all with any of the techs. The knowledge this company has is phenomenal . The customer service is 100% and im ultimately pleased every time my unit is serviced! Bon Air goes above and beyond in explaining what the issues were and how they would need to fix them. I called on a Saturday afternoon when it was 103 outside to ask for service. Preston came within 3 hours and replaced the capacitor , checked the coolant levels and inside unit. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend them as honest too.

Weve been long time customers and have always been very pleased with Bon Air and the staff. Unlike some other companies they never try to upsell products or services unless its needed. They always fully explain their service and costs. We had to replace our HVAC unit a couple of years back and selected them do the service despite they were not the lowest bid. The reason EVERYTHING was outlined in the contract vs others that gave us more generic quotes. I called Bon Air service to request a free estimate on replacing our AC/furnace system and my intention was to compare more than one company . But while the salesperson was explaining to me about their products and services I felt confident that I should have them do the work for us .And I glad I did , JOHN was very friendly and helpful and so was Kyle and the other two guys who were with him . Came on time (very important to me) very friendly and professional and finished the job earlier than I expected . I definitely will recommend them . I wished that they provided more services .
We called Bonaire due to a short in the wiring of our AC. They came out quickly and the service person was nice. However, the compressor kept running after he left so we called them out again. The contact switch was stuck as a result of the initial short and this was not caught by the first tech (it should have been). The second tech charged another $85 service fee for an issue that should have been caught initially. He actually called Bonaire to confirm he needed to charge and they said yes. He also wanted to charge us $250 to replace a part that costs $20 and was quite rude to my husband during the visit. I then called Bonaire to address the charge and service received and was told I would get a call back with an update. I did not receive a call back and the check has since been cashed. Additionally, the second tech unplugged a capacitor and did not plug it back in, which caused the fan to run backwards (we discovered this after I had called Bonaire). Had we not caught this ourselves and corrected the problem, it would have overheated the system. Its a shame because we have used Bonaire in the past and found them to be exceptional, more expensive but we felt it was worth it for the service and quality. Something must have recently changed. We will not be using their services again.I am editing my review. Shortly after posting this, we received a call from the location we obtained service from. The owner requested they reach out to us to let us know he agreed we should not have been charged the additional service fee and to issue a refund. We did not request this refund, however, it is in line with the type of service and accountability we have received in the past from Bonaire. Its clear the owner wants his locations to have the same mission and quality consistently. I appreciate the call we received more than the refund. I have adjusted my review accordingly.

I called Bon Air that I was having A/C problems and I wanted to renew my yearly contract. They had a super busy booked day and they able to book me in with the A/C acting up on the hottest day of year. Technician was able to come early than they planned. We had a fan pump that burn out and had that replaced. Our A/C is working like it is bran new with all the supper hot days.Staff / Technician were both friendly and professional. Honest and afgorable. My A/C unit started sorry cycling on a hot day. I called Bon Air and they were able to schedule a late appointment. My tech, Alex Garcia, showed up that evening and quickly diagnosed the issue as a dirty condenser. He cleaned out and I was back in business. He came back the next day at no charge to check the charge since he was concerned it might be accurate with a wet condenser.
Installed 2 new complete systems. The crew did a great job as they have always done for me in the past. The house is cooler than it ever has been with the heat pumps that were here before. Thank you.Update:Once again, these guys came through.Its why they are my go-to. Tyvm!

I was recommended by a friend who had such a great experience with bon air to try them out. We decided to upgrade our ac system and we also had such a great experience, from the min we called all the way to installation. They were very knowledgeable, timely and kind. Definitely will recommend and use again!
Disappointed after 4 years of service. Bought completely new systems from Bonair 4 years ago and signed up for their annual maintenance plan to ensure top performing systems. Last week the compressor went out on my 5 ton system and Bon air came out and tells me the part is under warranty but not the labor. They then quoted me 1800 in labor to fix it. Way overpriced to begin with for 3 hours of labor. They then said I could get a discount since I am an annual service plan member. 1500 now. I got 3 other quotes from reputable AC companies since then and not 1 quote was over 1300. At the end of the day Bonaire gave me another 10% discount to get me closer to 1300. I guess I am mainly disappointed in 2 things. 1st they tried to overcharge me drastically and I have been a loyal annual subscriber of their so called service plan. 2nd I tried to call the owner multiple times to voice this concern and as of today still waiting on that call. I am done with this company and will see if I can find an AC company that takes care of their loyal customers.
Went to troubleshoot why the unit was not working. The technician found a leak at the evaporator core and said it needs replacement. Two other companies said they couldn’t find the leak and the pump needed replacement. Saved us a lot of money and will have the parts replaced.Thank you Ashton.
Very responsive and professional. Technician gave detailed information and several options of repair. Major points for being able to put a temporary unit in until your actual unit becomes available gives this company a leap ahead of the competition. I dont know any other companies that offers that. Both my AC units broke down over Labor Day weekend. Called Bon Air. They responded immediately. I was expecting to replace expensive parts on both units. I was pleasantly surprised. They replaced a fan motor on one unit and offered to prove it was actually the motor. I was expecting to replace the control board on the other unit. It turned out to be a loose plug/connection. The tech could of easily sold me the unneeded control board. The tech was professional, polite, knowledgeable and most important, HONEST. It appears these attributes flow down from the owners/management. I would definitely use Bon Air again.

Eric came out on 5-21-20 and checked out our whole system, repaired the problem we had, and even showed us what will be a recurring issue. We asked him to have an estimate of repairs, but the next day a sales person called to try and sell us an entire new system. When we asked for estimates for that as well as repair only he ended the call, and we have received nothing to date. While Eric was open and truthful, we expected more from the office, as we have been loyal to Bon Air for decades.
My ac drain plug up in july and call them with value pack coupons the came in same day honor the coupon plus plus clean ac unit outside and just pay difference and include maintenance for heat system for winter!! Manon awesome will recommend to family and friend Bon air services
I have used your service for parts and today I used your service technician Paz I just want to say that you dont find many honest HVAC companies these days and you guys top the list! I also bought a part today and it was checked in the parts department by Hector and again all I can say is great service and very nice people to have met today, thanks! Bon Air has been servicing my air conditioner for a few years now and they do a great job. I just had them come out an install a Nest thermostat and put in a new ladder for my attic. They are always friendly and courteous.
I asked several companies to come out and give me quotes. The bon air company was last to visit, so I had the most questions by then. John was very professional and communicative in response to my inquiries. He advised me based on best judgement, even when he could have gone along what I wanted (unnecessarily) and made more money. They had better financing options than some of the other companies, and everyone who came out to do work, from start to finish, was professional and communicative.
Recently at our SOROPTIMIST house we noticed on a Saturday, our heater was not working! And we had our party that night!! We called and were told they could come help us. Of course they did! No problem fixed. Thank you for your prompt service and calls to keep us updated.
The worst experience I have ever had. The techs they sent out were not familiar with working on the equipment. Each time they came out they sent a different technician. They came out 2 weeks ago to make a repair. When they arrived, the system worked. Unfortunately, when they left, the system did not work. We had to insist they send someone out to fix it that day. The technician they sent could not figure out the problem. He said he would have to return to the shop and do research. Contact the manufacturer. Then would call us when they were ready to come work on it again. He turned the system off and left. We didn’t hear from them again for a week. A week when the temperatures dropped to the 30s nightly. When they finally came out to fix it, 2 weeks later, they charged $300 more than they quoted. Never again.
I have been a customer for over 20 years. I trust this business to be fair in their repairs and systems replacement. Technicians are quick knowledgeable and efficient. Completely recommend Bon Air.
The Tech Alex was very professional and courteous. He explained every part of what he was repairing and why. I felt as I was being educated on my HVAC system as well as getting white glove treatment.
I just had Bon Air fix a problem area in my house. The house faces west, and that part of the house wasnt being cooled like it should in the hot summer afternoons. They measured the air flow, replaced some ducts, added another return air duct and wow, what a difference! They also fixed a problem in a room where I have computer equipment adding to the cooling problems. Before they left, they had the system working as it should have, for the first time since weve lived here.I could go on about how they actually showed interest in my problems, and how they seemed old-school when it comes to customer satisfaction, and attention to detail.... something that is rare nowdays.They seemed honest and provide good work with reasonable rates. Had an air conditioning problem at 7 PM on a Saturday, and called Bon Air. They sent a service man out within an hour. He found and fixed my problem fast!! He cleaned up after he was finished. I will definitely use Bon Air again in the future. Thanks for the great service!!
