Bryan from Elmers Service provided complete estimates with varying levels of service options- I appreciate the transparency of their analysis and follow through. I did accept the estimate and work was completed later that day by Jose’s team who came out to complete the agreed upon service all to my satisfaction- great job to you all!I did require another issue to be addressed after the initial visit that was unrelated as my drain line became clogged and Bryan was able to come out that evening and complete the repair. Great customer service and response/ repair time.
I just had Elmers technician Scottie Baker do my HVAC system check and he was truly informative and thorough, educating me about my whole system well enough to the point where I signed up for their yearly service and want Scottie to be my tech guy all the time! He also taught me why my bedroom wasnt cooling off with two vents as its the last one coming off the plenum. He said they make their plenums longer so all the air is efficiently distributed. How many AC guys would tell you that? Thanks Scottie and Elmers!
Our furnace blower motor went out last Saturday. Called Houk on Monday and they couldnt come until Wednesday. So I called Elmers and they came that afternoon. $2500.00 to replace on a 14 year old unit. Opted for a complete replacement of a/c and furnace. Clint was great. He gave us 4 options; we chose The Cowboy. The price was excellent and Clint made sure the furnace would be replaced the next day. The following Tuesday, the new a/c was installed and the job completed. Erik and Alexander were very courteous, and and did a fantastic job. They took the time to get everything right, even going above and beyond, in our opinion. Thanks very much Clint, Erik and Alexander.The icing on the cake is the 10 year service agreement that covers everything! Major KUDOS to Elmers!!! We cant recommend them highly enough. We are customers for life. 🤠
Elmers has provided service to my units for a couple of years now. My home is 20 yrs old. When service techs come out (Im on an $11/mo membership maintenance plan) every 6 mos for unit check-ups they are always professional, competent, respectful of my home (wear booties) and review any findings/recommendations with images/video. They do not delivery a sales pitch or try upsale products, nor is there any pressure to purchase anything. I have been satisfied with their service & have had no issues.
Okay, they’re the best of the best! First when John initially showed up he was so professional and caring! Very empathetic to our issues with our entire family being in a hot box. He made the effort to get us a portable AC so we wouldn’t suffer. He showed us all the options and wasn’t being a pushy sales guy but also I knew because he could also perform work to be done and not just a man with a clipboard. He made recommendations without saying we had one choice and it was going to kill us financially. He gave us the layout and was extremely specific and told us in ways we could understand. Allowed us to pick and choose specific to our household needs and wants. The very next day the crew came and did a fantastic job actually quicker than was designated. Not only this they did extra, they went above and beyond replacing both boxes, ensuring no damage to ducts via camera and adding an additional 4 inch filter along with new filter installation! Junior along with the entire crew ensured a more than perfect job! The warranty is great and not only are they ensuring that it works perfectly out the door but for years to come! So Junior actually came out on the next Sunday on his day off and purchased us the Google nest just for us he knew most people had the Google us no different and he took that extra all upon himself off the clock at no extra charge! All in all we will be using them permanently from here on out! Junior and John fantastic along with everyone and from initial call to out the door nice and cold!

I continue to be amazed at the level of follow up service we get from Elmers. At the included six month follow up check up we mentioned we did not care for the thermostat they installed. They sent someone with a very nice upgrade, but the hole in the wall from the previous one was large and left a gap with the new thermostat. So within a day a dry wall Tech showed up to make sure it all looked great. They invested a lot of time and effort to ensure our satisfaction. And we are definitely satisfied beyond expectations. Thank you all.
After being ripped off by several other companies, my husband discovered Elmers. Scottie came out to fix what we thought was going to be a major problem for about 1/10th of what I thought it would cost. He was so friendly and professional, we felt good having him in our home and are very satisfied with the results. 10/10 recommend and Scottie is the best!
Months ago had new system installed. Since then had to have few visits due to issues.at one time even had 3 elmers vans @the house to deal with it. Our outside cameras seem to catch conversations perfectly and thats all Im going to say about that.. I will not spend any more money with them. And I will not recommend them.
Had our first experience with Elmer’s today and it was great! Took advantage of their Elmerization special and got a VERY thorough inspection and preventative maintenance checkup. Our house is 5 1/2 years old and our system was still in very good shape. The technician was very courteous and thorough and explained everything he did in great detail including lots of pictures.
Scottie came out to check out our old AC unit since it hasn’t been cooling as efficiently.I was very impressed with his thoroughness and willingness to explain what he found in his assessment and in the options we have moving forward.Not only was he knowledgeable, he was respectful, kind, and pleasant to speak with. So glad I followed up on a colleague’s recommendation for Elmer’s!
Incredible service! The absolute best decision we could have made to call Elmers for a second opinion. Thank goodness we had the benefit of Jakes knowledge and experience! He saved us from purchasing a new unit which we were told was our only option. That was not the case at all and in 15 min he diagnosed the issue that a competitor spent 7hrs on the day before and charged us $1200 for the privilege.Call Elmers and hope you get Jake!!
Joseph Kelley came out in this below, freezing weather to correct a city of Richardson amp issue and I think this is the happiest anybody has ever done or ever been to come repair something that was installed over a year ago.He showed up on time he was happy and professional and courteous. Austin & Rigo were Were great at giving information. They were very knowledgeable very courteous and much better than the company that I used prior/last time , I would recommend these two guys for all air-conditioning problems/issues. Needed my AC unit repaired. Scottie was our tech and did an amazing job helping me not only diagnosis the issue but also provided me multiple paths to get what I needed done. The inspection of my system alone was more thorough then any other company. He answered all of my questions and gave me multiple options. I never felt pressured by a sales pitch. He took care of the issue to get our system running quickly and we look forward to getting the next step taken care of this week.
I heard about Elmers through a trusted radio show. Thought they would be good. I know AC guys are less than reliable so I scheduled an appointment a week in advance. You would think they could make it. Well on the day they were supposed to be there. No calls. So I call into their call center and they said they would make sure they texted me. NOTHING! I call at the latest time they said they would be there. WOW!? Guess what? They said they tried to get a hold of me. NOT ONE CALL OR TEXT! Old repair trick. I did not even wait for the explanation. We tried to get a hold of you can we reschedule? NOPE! They are incompetent. If you are not in a hurry and you can spend your life waiting around for them they may have good service but when you start this way I doubt it. I will not do business with them. The lady was like we can reschedule. I have let them know that I will call the police and press charges for trespassing if they show up at my house. Now it is here in writing. What a mess!!!
Shane was very knowledgeable and fixed problem in 45 min. Had respect for me and my property. I would recommend if your unit needs help. Two service company’s before him wanted to replace the compressor for 4500 he fixed it for under 400. Great job!
I cant believe that I got all the work done I got from them for $129. The service was phenomenal, the communication not quite so much on behalf of the dispatch. Had a lot of problems getting my appointment scheduled and knowing it was there for some reason, but once the young man got to the property everything was smooth as glass. He was friendly, kind and polite. Answered all of our questions, cleaned it so that I cant even believe its the same unit. I would highly recommend Elmers, so much as a matter of fact, Ive already had my other rental done and I have my own property scheduled to be done! Im wondering if they give a multi-unit or First Responders discount.
After being without AC for 5 days and a horrible experience with my home owners insurance, my husband called Elmer’s to look at our unit and give us a quote on a new one. They were there promptly the next day and the technician was phenomenal. He took lots of pictures and explained every single thing that he saw so I could understand. He wasn’t pushy like most salesmen and he explained to me the dangers of the damage on my current unit. It was pretty obvious that my unit was beyond repair and it was time for a new one.The engineer, Christopher, was out that night to inspect and review our options. Again, he was not pushy like most salesmen, but instead, he explained everything that was wrong with our 22 year old unit. He then went over what he felt were the best options specific to our house and our needs.The next day the guys were here to install the new unit. Eluid, Omar, and Ryan were extremely efficient and worked as a team to get the job done. Eluid walked me through each part of the items installed and and then taught me how to use the new thermostat. They were very nice, professional, and informative.Then later that day, two guys were out to the house to clean all of the air ducts.I have to say that this was the absolute best crew we could have had to work on my house. Every single person I encountered was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, down to earth, and had my best interest in mind. I will definitely be recommending Elmer’s to anyone in need. He went thru the systems and made some tweaks.10/29/24Shane came back to change out a thermostat, but I decided to keep the one Scottie Baker had installed.Overall, I am very pleased with the service that Elmers has provided and they are professional and easy on the financial end of it. This was our 1st time using Elmers Home Services and My wife and I were very pleased with the professional and detailed service we recieved today from the Tech Rego and we will continue with Elmers for our AC and heating needs. We have a 22 year old system and Elmers tech that came in was professional and didnt just say we need to replace the whole system like other companies did. We will be repairing our unit with Elmers
Brisco was awesome, straight to the point. Found our issue rather quickly and helped us secure financing for a new system.Update: The install and duct cleaning crews (yes they actually clean your ducts for FREE) were great. The install guys worked quicky and had the entire system up and running within 6 hours of them arriving. The duct cleaning guys worked quickly as well, cleaning all of our ducts and repainting our registers in 3hours. The house is much more comfortable with the upgrade from single stage to two stage, and were already seeing a slight reduction in utility usage.
I had heard great things, and now Ive lived it! Jake at Elmers replaced our thermostat and got our heater fixed quickly! He was very respectful and knowledgeable and we will use Elmers in the future!
One of the most dishonest companies I have ever worked with. If I could give negative stars I would.We called for service due to our heat not working properly. First guy came out on Friday and was here for a while and told us he would need to to do a test to determine where the leak was and it would cost $380. We agreed. He was here from 9 am to 12 and said he could not find the leak. He said that another test that was more precise needed to be done and that another tech, an installer, would have to perform this test and the cost would be $1470 on top of the $380 test. The second guy came out to perform the more precise test and was here only 20 minutes and found the leak that the first guy could not find in almost 3 hours. Questioned the second guy and found out he used a spray bottle with soapy water to find the leak. We obviously refused to pay $1470 for this. 2nd guy told us a valve needed to be replaced and our system needed to be recharged with freon but he could not give us a quote on how much that would cost. He said the first guy would have to come back and give us the quote to replace the valve and recharge our system. So first guy came out and by this point it had been an ALL day thing with nothing being done except for the $380 test to find a leak that he could never find and trying to charge an additional $1470 for another test. I was livid at this point. When the first guy showed back up to give us the price it was magically $1470 but he could not make the repairs, and he would have ANOTHER guy come out the following Monday between 9 and 10 am. They didnt call or show up until after 11 am. We will never call Elmers again and would definitely NOT recommend them for any service.

Called for repair of outside unit. Service technician Scottie arrived right on time. He walked me through the diagnostic process and began his system analysis. Problem found quickly. Scotties continued with further inspection of complete A/C system. He photographed all system componentsWrote up series of service and repair options with costs to choose from. Quoted costs were very reasonable. I made my choice and repair completed. I was impressed. Scottie is a true professional. Elmers is now my go to HVAC service and repair company.
I was very satisfied with my service with Elmer’s! I called after hrs and a tech was sent out to my home the next morning. Austyn was very professional, friendly and informative! He took the time to show me all the photos from my unit and explain how it all works. This company was recommended by a friend and I’m so thankful their info was given to me as I was told I needed a whole new unit! Elmers specializes in fixing before replacing which is honest and hard to find. My unit is a bit on the older side but Austyn definitely came to our rescue in showing me my options and I even signed up for their monthly program! Such a good deal couldn’t pass it up. The duct cleaners were first to arrive, they were very professional, respectful and did a thorough cleaning. Jose M and Chris A arrived shortly after. They also were very professional, respectful and thorough. They answered all of our questions. Jose and Chris are definitely valuable asset to Elmers and made our experience as pleasant as possible. When they left our house was in the same condition as when they arrived.
I was so excited to have hired Elmer’s A/C. I called to get a whole new unit inside & out. They came out gave me a quote and bet the other companies. I have to be honest we did have a problem I was upset because of a some small issue but, the next morning Chris the manager called me and was out at my home by 8:00a.m. I got many calls to make sure the issue was corrected and I was happy with the outcome of things. One thing I know is that no company is perfect it’s how the company handles a conflict. Elmers handle everything very well. Thank you I’m very glad I picked this company. Hugo and his helper ( forgot his name ) did a wonderful job in repairing the large cut open area in the ceiling of the master bedroom. It looks so professional and clean. Awesome experience. Family run but big biz pricing. Scheduling was really easy! Not sure what these other reviews are about - scheduled online. Got a call to confirm. The. 30 min later a tech called to schedule. Bryan showed up and did a thorough job - very detailed info, 1/2 the price other companies charge for the same report. Then Elmer’s nephew sat down and walked us through the process and the tech’s delivered exactly like they said. Rolled in with a big ol pink truck. I see why they call it a warehouse on wheels. They offer financing but we took advantage of their cash pricing. Really solid. Glad that those commercials actually tell the truth (for once)

“Friendly and efficient.” Initially left that with five stars. First technician couldn’t give me prices on repairs or replacement so a senior technician was scheduled. I took off work early. An hour into my service window they called and said they were running late, 40 minutes later the called and said they were on their way (would be about 45 more minutes) so I gave up
We have a 15 year old Carrier unit and the compressor wouldnt kick on half the time but otherwise worked fine. Elmers came out and provided a detailed report so we knew what our options were. They were able to fix the problem for under $1000 and the unit has been working great since they left 3 weeks ago. Highly recommend!

After review we decided to go with replace and got a fair deal on the cost and peace of mind with Elmer’s quality service. Sprung a leak from what I thought was an AC issue, that turned out to be a plumbing issue. I have had not so good experiences with other AC companies around DFW, so I took a chance and called Elmers. My technician Bryan was AMAZING. He was very thorough, provided detailed pictures for me to see and offered great advice. I’ve had Elmers come back twice to tune up my AC units. I’m definitely impressed with this company and will be a long term customer!
Total Bait and switch company. They had a special advertised on the radio so I called to schedule an appointment. Was told a tech would call me to schedule the appointment. I waited several weeks and no one ever called. When I called the company they told me that special was put on hold and that is one no matter be ever called. I will never do business with them again. Totally dishonest. Update: sent email per reply to my review and never heard anything back. As of today I am still hearing the same ad for same price. Total dishonest company. Buyer beware….

I selected the Gold repair, paying extra to clean dirt out of the vents and out of the core and squirrel cage blower.So Scottie replaced the capacitor and had a crew come out for the cleaning but the crew said they don’t go into the evaporator unit. I tried to call Elmers about it 4 times. Each time they said they would call back but never did. If I said I needed service I’m sure they would have called.I wish I would’ve selected the $500 repair instead of the $3.3k repair and saved $2k for something I probably only got in part.Especially since the worst picture with the heavy microbial dirt wasn’t included with the invoice like the rest of the other pics. Makes me think it is used to promote the cleaning service. Otherwise Scottie is one of if not the best HVAC repairman I’ve ever dealt with.
I called last week to book an appointment. It had time slots online for same day and next morning. I picked the same day. I got a message asking me to call them with more info, so I did. All of their calls are routed through San Antonio. I told the lady Id like the elmerize I heard online. She said oh thats more preventive, we will just do a dispatch service fee. They then said they needed verbal approval from homeowner, who is my mother. I can understand that. She then said she would notate that she would be calling, and a dispatcher would be calling with time slots they had open but it was looking like Monday... So my mother called and gave approval, and they told her also that dispatch would be calling that day to set up appointment. Weekend goes by and I hear nothing. Monday they call and offer an appointment first thing Tuesday morning. I said sure. Tuesday morning comes. Tech calls me from San Antonio number and leaves message on 2nd call. I call the number back within a minute and answering service says they will note I returned the call but cant tell me what it was about. 30 minutes later he calls and says they are sending someone. Calls back 5 minutes later and says they will be delayed instead of 9-10, will be 11.. then no call no show until someone from company calls me at 2:15pm and wants to give me an update about my appointment. No thanks Ive already called someone who is actually almost here..
Commercials were everything they said they were! Fixed our issue quickly and didnt charge us an outrageous amount or try to sell us a new unit(s) just because ours is 20 years old. I will definitely call them again if I need to.
Austin came out today to give us a second opinion. He was so knowledgeable and helpful. The previous company said we need a new unit. Austin serviced everything and said we were good but will need to eventually replace the system. We signed up for a service plan and will be using Elmer’s from now.
Ive had nothing but exceptional service from Elmers. And Brian, who did my quarterly HVAC service, was one of the kindest people Ive ever met. I cannot recommend this company enough.

We went with Elmers to perform an install of both the interior and exterior unit, and each employee weve worked with has been very professional and helpful in making sure we have what we need.
I had a new system installed in my house 8 years ago. Spent a ton and got more ax than the house needed. But never has really performed.I had some ducts replaced that didn’t in installation and what a difference. Guys were quick, and did a great job elevating the ducts, found one was not even connected so I was just cooling my attic.Then a senior guy came out and started really probing at the install. Found many things not done right the first time. Brought the heat scanner out and we nailed down problem areas. He was really knowledgeable and helped just talk common sense about the performance of my ac.Today! So much better airflow and house seems more constant airflow and temp.All other Dallas companies are officially fired! Love Elmer’s!
Michael was excellent in repairing our AC unit. He is very kind and courteous man. I appreciated the good conversation while he worked. It was a really hot part of the day but he worked without complaint. I would recommend Elmar services and especially Michael to anyone who is in need of repair on their AC unit.

Shane from Elmers A/C was polite and informative...he had no issue with me looking over his shoulder the whole time and asking questions while he worked...unfortunately the problem was not resolved as they did not have the part I needed in stock and will have to order it. But up to this point Elmers A/C and Shane have been good.

I have to say. I finally found a company that does just what they say on their commercials. Elmers came into our home. Did the thorough check on our AC system pointed out little issues. But never once tried to sell us a whole unit or high dollar repair. They showed us we just needed a couple minor repairs to our unit and now its working great!Thank you, for being honest and respectful!and your technician, Brian is a great addition to your company.

It was my second opinion and he fixed it for $767 where the service yesterday wanted me to replace it for $10,000!And I loved that Elmer has pink on his truck, the techs wear pink undershirts and even pink inside booties as a memory to his mother who passed with breast cancer.
Jake arrived super quick and went through the whole system. diagnosed the problem, explained the cause of my ac not blowing cold as well as other issues he noticed. no pressure sales pitch. he gave me several options on how to proceed and got me up and running in a little over an hour. outstanding service...even on a holiday. thank you so much!

UPDATE - unfortunately, a lot changed since the first review. On hindsight, perhaps I was overzealous in having AC again in 95+ degree heat.While the customer service from our tech was excellent, our air conditioner was dead again a few hours after the first repair, and we spent another night without AC.Elmers came back out the following evening, and we had a night of air conditioning, but by 10 am the next day, it was dead again, and i was told id have to wait at least until the following day for someone to come out - unacceptable after having purchased a service plan and spent $1,000 on an AC that still wasnt fixed.For me, that was the end of the line - when I spend money on something and it doesnt work TWICE, telling me that someone cant come out for the third time until the following day (at that point, it should have been priority one) is not acceptable. Eventually i did receive a call that a field supervisor would be coming out to review the problem later that afternoon, but at that point the damage was done, and we no longer wanted to work with Elmers.I reached out to them for a refund on the service plan, as well as all non-parts and labor related costs, but have yet to hear back from that department. All in all a very disappointing experience, to say the least.------------------------------Absolutely Fantastic. Our A/C stopped working in 98 degree weather, and I was amazed that someone from Elmers could come out the same day - within two hours of my call!From the moment we greeted him at the door until the moment he left, Austyn was polite and professional, and explained to us the process he was going to go through before doing so, and then explained in depth what he discovered, and what our options were. There was no pressure with an upsell or anything of the sort, and thankfully we only needed a repair and not a replacement.Thanks Elmers and Austyn! We now have a trusted name we can use again if we ever need HVAC work done.
We had a miscommunication during the sales process but to their credit they did what was right and corrected the mistake. I have a great deal of respect for the ethics and quality of service from this company. It is few and far between dealing with a company that has a do whats right way of doing business!

Our experience with Elmers was excellent. We never felt upsold. They explained every detail along the way and laid out every possible option to get us back up and running again. They exceeded our expectations based on the commercials we had heard on the radio. We mainly worked with Brisco and Clint - Brisco being our main tech, and Clint being our contact who helped coordinate what we needed, as well as the crew that came out to do the work. They were the third group to come assess our system over the past few months, as we were just limping along. Brisco knows his stuff - Ive never had a tech in my 20 years of home ownership who went to the level of detail he did in explaining what the problem was and why it was causing some chain reaction issues; and he knew things about our system I had never been told before. He also appropriately diagnosed the root of the problem, rather than assuming like the previous two groups. Clint was great to work with as well, he and Brisco both did a great job of showing us the cheapest way to get us up and running again, along with more expensive longer term fixes - and we never felt any pressure to do the latter. Lastly, the crew that came out was excellent. They did a great job respecting the awkwardness that any homeowner feels when there are strangers in your home. They were respectful, communicative, and when they left there were literally zero signs they had been in our house. Sorry for the long review, but all of these guys deserve props for a great experience, and well be Elmers customers for a long time because of it.
*update so Elmer’s was great at the first visit (even gave them a good review), but just like all major companies they rigged my unit to work for month and then said I needed a whole new unit. They def scammed me out of money. Gave me some useless plugs to help and still my unit stopped working. Even promised to give me my money back if the “rigged service” didn’t work. That was a lie. Found another local service and they were able to fix it for less than half of what Elmer’s scammed me out of. Do not recommend at all.
I guess all the hype about Elmers is true, for once someone actually cares about the customer. Its been years since I have found anyone who does A/C that was just honest and straight forward. So hard to find. More later after the work is done.Well all the basic repairs have been done and our A/C is running just the way it should. Now I can give a final for now review. I can say without a doubt Elmers is a whole new game changer in the A/C business. I am going to drop a couple of names now, A-1 Air, and Milestone. In the last 16 years we have been using those two for mentioned businesses to service the very same unit Scottie from Elmers just finished with. Elmers repaired our A/C where the other two would only sell me a new unit. A new unit just wasnt making any sense to us at this moment because the A/C as always was working just fine. Elmers replaced a couple of wearing parts for us so our unit will continue to work just fine until we are ready to replace it. We know who we are choosing to sell us are new A/C.Okay I need to say a little about employees, precisely Scottie our technician. I couldnt have felt more comfortable dealing with Scottie if he was my own brother. So many people in todays work force are unhappy with either what they do for a living or their employer. It really shows in the quality of work they do. Scottie is a Rockstar in A/C, so that should tell you a little bit about Elmers. I hear they have openings, so if your not happy with your employer or just not comfortable with the way they want you to treat your customers, well you know who to call.Update 8/28/2024 Scottie to the rescue this time, our a/c has been out since Saturday night. On top of that I had oral surgery yesterday and the Texas heat has been taken its toll on me. I knew once Scottie made it here things would change for the better real fast and they did. Our a/c is old but, right now a lot of unexpected expenses have popped up and replace of the unit was out of the question, I let Scottie know we needed to get by for just a bit longer. He pulled out his magic wand and made it so, just kidding. Scottie went to work and got things going again for us in no time flat. Elmers is where our new a/c is coming from and hopefully before something else goes wrong. I said it before and I will say it again Elmers is as advertised and thats not just hype its for real. What a relief in todays greedy times, a honest company doing whats right and not just making profit. Thanks Scottie and thank you Elmers for being here.
Rigo did a great job inspecting and explaining what he was doing and seeing. Pin pointed an issue and did a great job explaining why the repair was needed.
Very thorough. I little more $ than I expected. Provided different levels of options to fix initial problem and to overhaul system.Follow up- their quality control person came by after 2 weeks to verify the installation and to make sure things were according to the sale. Joseph was here for about 15 minutes and barely inside looking at the work that was done. After a week, I went into the attic to look around. Notice things were according to specs. Contacted company and stated what was going on and how the QC guys was here for a short time and did not mention anything. After a couple more communications, Elmers sent another QC tech, Gabriel, and he was thorough. I told him what was supposed to have been done and wasnt, that my electrical bill was more than before the install. He noticed the capaciter was the incorrect size for the unit. Now they are going to schedule a time to replace with correct size capacitor and correct other issues that should have been caught initially.
The Sunday of Memorial weekend our AC system stopped working and that evening we were on the phone desperate to fix it asap. Thankfully Elmers was not taking the day off and they showed up Monday morning, Monday afternoon and Monday Evening. We were given about a dozen options and alternatives to choose from. Ultimately we chose to install a new unit inside and out. They brought us portable AC units to put in our home to help us cool down. The demo team came that evening and did their part. In the morning our installers were here and ready to GO! I can’t say enough about how friendly, fast and CARING the Elmers team was and has been. It’s been a long time since I have experienced such customer service by a company.

So this is the Elmer’s way high prices as you can see in the photos just to basically clean the unit and Scottie did great on diagnostics or some what but he is not mechanical minded he told my wife it could be the blower motor or circuit broad but your unit is work fine there nothing wrong I can see so if the blower motor or circuits broad he mention then it ether one not both and there something wrong if Scottie mention it or he just don’t know how to be mechanical mineded but the commercial and ads i say are false because if Elmer wants to help family member don’t over charge on cleaning the unit and yes Scottie was trying to force my wife to buy a package but Elmer way is not to force to sell anything yup I believe this is the new Elmer way thanks for reading hope this help people out there not to just pick the first estimateUpdate I fixed my AC issue and did not cost me a arm and a leg Scottie say you could not get parts for my nortek/nordyne unit here more pictures that it was the circuit broad issue and the part that I order what a ripped off that Scottie just trying to make more money for him self on his pay check I know how it works sell can get commission on what he sell he not a tech he just a sell person that comes out and diagnose and say you cannot get parts for a nortek/nordyne unit Elmer’s wanna take pictures I can do that also what a Ripp off this company allow tech to just sell and not fix units that call laziness but Elmer’s don’t upsell that funny how the commercial ads reflect on the techs it only cost me total cleaning my unit and repair the circuit broad for 350.00 which this company would probably charge me 3800 for cleaning and if they would of price me for the circuit broad which Scottie never did all because you cannot get parts for but I did and I was not 4 some what hours late to show up because I the ownerElmer techs a ripped off !!!
Called Elmers to help us correct an air flow problem we are having. Tech named Scottie came out to diagnose our problem and after a lot of testing and checking stuff he found the issue. Great Experience w Briton w Elmers. Super knowledgeable, listened to what I wanted. Didn’t have commission breath like so many companies that just want to sell you a new system. I didn’t know it at the time I scheduled but they are a faith based company with Christian values so that was a bonus!

Trash! I called for an elmerization and they told me that it would be around a month before they could get me in and they would call me when they had me on the schedule. I said ok. After a month and a half I called back and they put me on the schedule for today between 9-11am. I took off work and have been sitting here waiting. At 11am I called and a lady said that dispatch would call me back. When she did she said that their next availability was tomorrow. I told her no, youre supposed to be here between 9 and 11 today. She said, I know! We dont have availability on the schedule today. No calls. No emails. Nothing. I had to waste an entire days pay for them to not show up. Trash! Trash! Trash!

To anyone who has ever had to hire an HVAC company, hiring Elmers is truly a different experience. In the 5 years I have owned this home I have had 3 different HVAC companies come and look at this system. I would tell them my complaints and my goals but they would never listen. $300 here, $1,000 there and its See ya later!. But not with Elmers! Scottie came out and did a FULL inspection on each unit (upstairs and down)and showed me pictures of problem areas AND areas that had no issues. He was open and honest about everything and by the end of his inspection he had 6 or 7 different options for me for each unit from band-aid to full replacement. We walked through each option and he gave me the truth about what each would and would not do for me.The prices were honestly very reasonable especially considering the metric ton of cash I would have had to pay anyone else to do that thorough of an inspection on the units. They offer really good financing through Ally as well that saved me almost 20% on interest compared to putting it on my credit card.Scottie stayed after hours to finish up the job after I had chosen my service package and showed me pictures of the finished product. I will now get a tune up 2x/year with the $143/year service plan I bought and it saved me money on the final bill too.All in all, I couldnt be happier with the experience. Elmers has gained a loyal customer.

Our service from Elmer’s Home Services was 5-star! I left a review on their other site as well. But we were very happy with the project from beginning to end. Our expectations were exceeded. Their project management was outstanding (and I have a PM background so I know what good looks like). While the cost is high —— I believe they have saved us money because the right size unit was installed so our electric bill should be more reasonable with a more efficient system. I can already feel the difference - the system is not struggling to keep up as it has for 13 years since we’ve lived here (we just didn’t’ realize what good looks like). They are worth their weight in gold!
Quick update. I received a call within minutes of this post and sent out Robert to review the work. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. We did discuss a resolution and said either he or the GM would get back to me. It’s been 10 days since that conversation.Previous message: Unfortunately it was a poor experience. It started great with Clark providing an estimate for work in a timely manner. When the workers came to install the ducts, they made it more complicated than it needed to be and did not finish in a day. Then, no one showed up the next day. They finally finished but in the words of another contractor who saw the work, it looked like a 5th grader did it. I was told a manager would contact me but nothing yet. I have much more work to be done but they don’t seem interested.
Cody was absolutely amazing!!! He was so knowledgeable and explained everything to me to ensure I understood what needed to be fixed. He went out of his way and even checked my upstairs unit to ensure it was working properly! Finding out that you have to replace any part of your HVAC system is stressful but everyone from the customer service reps, supervisors and techs were absolutely amazing! My family appreciates you guys LISTENING and showing empathy and moving so quickly to make sure we didn’t have to spend too much more time without a functioning unit!!!!

From the beginning of the experience starting with our technician Louie to the final install, from another pair of great Elmer installers Ulises and Carlos, everyone was extremely helpful and gave us a lot of information about the work before they started and kept me informed of every step, which was appreciated. Everyone was very efficient and did the work in good time. Very pleasant and courteous. Definitely a good experience with the entire install group. I must also acknowledge the salesman Jason who came out and was very patient and walked us thru all the options, listened and answered our questions in detail. He never pushed but stayed true to his mission to get a new customer and he did get us Elmerized. Again, we were impressed with the company from beginning to end. I will recommend to all my friends and neighbors.!!

Overpaid by 10x what we should have for a “repair” that was broken again the NEXT DAY! And then they didn’t even stand behind it. Told us they would charge more for additional repairs when their diagnosis was incomplete.Would give zero star if possible!They said they would get back to us and work out a refund for the NON service!!! But they won’t respond to email requests. NEVER USE THESE SCAMMERS!
Scottie was amazing and easy to work with. We had several options for repair and he walked me through each one in detail. I decided on a simpler option, but will be calling Scottie and Elmer’s when I’m ready to replace my entire AC unit.

Paid for a service check because they required it in order to do a condenser cleaning, and they refused to send me the documents for the repairs they said I needed other than for their service plans. Quoted me 2 to 4 thousand per year for a plan. I spent 100 bucks and about 6 hours carefully cleaning it myself. Ac was good all summer.The ac tech that came out verified there was no leak and apparently unscrewed the pressure valve just a little bit before he left. It leaked all of our r22 out over the past year. This year, I had to refill it completely and noticed the bubbles coming from the valve line. Very untrustworthy company. Had another company double-check that there wasnt a leak anymore and the pressure is holding steady.
All the work was done in excellent detail and just great from Michael to Jason and all the installation guys and duct cleaning guys just awesome job and my Kelley very professional
Brisco from Elmer’s was a kind down to earth representative of y’all’s company I’d indefinitely try my hardest to keep and employ of his caliber he’ll be the reason including y’all’s warranties to why I’ll always go through y’all for any of my hvac needs
So our ac was neglected for years prior to purchasing our home. My wife inquired with Elmer’s and we decided to give them our business. The two technicians that arrived was Omar Santoyo, and Eliud Rendon. They were very professional and took their time. They placed drop mats throughout the house to help keep the floor cleans clean. They did an exceptional job at communicating throughout the day. At the end of the job they walked me through each step of the process regarding our new system.So far my experience with Elmers has been nothing but positive. With them recently opening a branch in the Dallas area, I hope that the customer service stays at this level.
We would not recommend. Contacted them to replace 4 HVAC units. They missed two appointments that were scheduled, so we will take our business elsewhere.

Can I say I wish they would come rip this unit out? Yes! Feel like I got pushed into getting my unit. So far I have had so much trouble with it. Now on year one I have had no air for 3 days! They come out and cant fix their own unit! We had to get a window unit and live in a room in our house for those days. My husband is on oxygen with heart problems and we were just so hot and stressed. Elmers communication sucks also. They promise times and every day it was 6pm! I missed 3 days of work for this stupidity.No one communicates, dont bother to call and ask a question. They dont apparently have access to the repairman??? So you wait and wait! On the 3rd day I was told I would be priority, well that was 3 in the afternoon. Also no call or check in to see how it was doing after it was fixed. I believe in customer service. You let me down Elmers! I will not recommend you and Im tired of your lies on your commercial. I think you owe my family a big apology. days of work missed, food brought in because we couldnt cook. My husband could not even lay in a bed while sick those 3 days! Im just so disgusted that I was talked into this company.I will be contacting the BBB also. I needed AC work done on a unit I manage, I called Elmers after hearing their advertisement on the radio.. They were on time, did a thorough inspection and then gave me an estimate and the work was completed in a couple of hours. Our home had been running hot, I heard the add for their elmerization tune up and decided to give it a try. Temperature dropped 7° before Austyn, the technician, had even left. He pointed out some things that needed attention, which was expected seeing as the unit is 20 years old. Obvious recommendation for a unit that old would be a replacement, and he had an option for that, but he also had several options to keep the unit we have running as efficiently as possible.

The the tech that came out to my house did a good job all around cleaned up as well good job very satisfied.
Jake was great!! No nonsense, straightforward explanations. Right on time!! No bait and switch. He fixed our very old system which we knew needed replacing. Sure enough the repair didnt hold much longer than expected so we had Patrick Kiely come out and take another look. Our system was over 20 years old and some of the components were installed incorrectly. Patrick didnt try to sell us on the most expensive system, he didnt try to sell is on anything with all the extra bells and whistles, he simply informed us of what was needed for a house our size and what we could actually afford. After he walked us through what we needed, he fought hard for us to get approved for financing. To say he worked miracles for us is an understatement. Patrick was a huge blessing for us.After getting financing setup Ulises, and Carlos were out the very next day to get everything installed. These 2 men worked hard for over 12 hours to remove our old system, install the new, route the duct work properly, and thoroughly inspect over each piece before leaving. They had to do a lot of rerouting and extra work to undo how our old system was incorrectly installed in order to correctly install the new system.We have been more than pleased with Elmers every step of the way. We absolutely recommend them to any and everyone we can.

Jake from Elmers Home Services was very professional and diagnosed the issue on our old A/C unit rather quickly. He gave me the information on what the old unit needed in order to fix it and also helped set up a quote on a new unit same day.

Ive received nothing but great service from Elmers so far. They were able to get to me roughly 24 hours after I called for service which is excellent considering the summer that we are already having. He took a thorough look at the system, taking pictures, and went over the issues I had while actually showing the parts/problems. He was able to replace a part or two to get my system running again and will be back in 48 hours to address and correct the other issues to get the entire system running properly again. The radio ads are working!

While looking for a company whos technicians are not paid commission, I decided to go with Elmers. Shane came out for a maintenance inspection. He was thorough, courteous, and diligent while not trying to sell us anything. We were satisfied with the quality of service and signed on to have Elmers do our twice annual service inspections.
Our service was excellent. Our service technician found the A/C unit problem and fixed it in minutes. We appreciate finding an honest expert to service our A/C.
They seem nice, but my complaint which I can change is that I understand that they are focused on repairing folks units that are down I am for that, but I am trying to prevent my units from going down, by trying to get a pm done on it. The problem is they are making you wait a month out for them to come out. If you dont have enough technicians you should not advertise that part of your business to come and do preventive maintenance. Many other companies dont make you wait thay long. I tried to choose Elmer because they offer a good amount on their pms for a good price. But unfortunately looks like I will have to use someone else so I am not having to wait so long. I am sure 1 customer lost wont concern them but I recommend either getting more technicians or dont advertise the elemerrization.
