They are awesome!!! They show up when they say they will. They are polite and courteous. They check their shoes every time before entering your house. They tell you everything they are doing from beginning to end, and they are fast. If you have questions, they actually listen, and you will have an answer before they leave. How they present themselves, they feel like family. We will always use Daffan.

Dylan, Reid, and John did a great job fixing our system. They came out multiple times to diagnose the issue and made sure everything was in working order. They were kind, courteous, easy to work with, and efficient. We had a terrible experience with another company that was neither honest nor easy to work with. Reed was so nice and polite! He even carried in a heavy package off my front porch when he arrived. He gave me great information about our thermostat, fixed a rattling air vent, and informed us of our nasty ductwork. We’ll definitely be getting those cleaned by Daffan as well. I just wanted to say THANK YOU to Daffen! We replaced our entire HVAC system with them about 6 months ago and our utility bills have gone way down! We are saving anywhere from $100-$300 a month now! I have used their maintenance plan for a number of years. My husband and I are just too old and our ceilings are too high to change filters and we certainly don’t know anything about the ststems. We have three systems. I think it’s a great bargain! Because I’m on maintenance and if something happens in the heat of the summer or the cold of the winter, they are right here quickly.

Our tech Ryan was professional and extremely knowledgeable. We are so fortunate to have someone local be able to service our HVAC units! Thank you Ryan!

The technician was professional and figured out our thermostat wiring. When we turned on the heater there was a loud buzzing sound indicating a switch going out. He was able to fix it right away . I received quality first rate service and the charge was fair. What more can you expect?

Daffan’s heating and cooling service sent Tony to be my technician today. He was on schedule, he called to tell me he was on his way and when he arrived he was very polite. He performed all the services with efficiency. He was very patient explaining some of the basic operations of the thermostat that I had forgotten and showed me how to change the filter which is a new responsibility for me this year. First of all the entire crew of Daffan Cooling & Heating are all excellent, from the office staff to the sales staff, the install crews, inspection folks, and finally the techs that keep you running smoothly for years after your install. Just great people one and all. While customer service has sadly become the delusion on the part of the companies claiming to provide it Daffan goes above and beyond to insure it actually does, kudos.My most recent interaction with Daffan came on Friday 17, May with my normal technician Johnathan. As always Johnathan called ahead to let me know his arrival time and then arrived precisely at that time. He was here to do my annual system check and was very quick and efficient with his time and both my systems checked out perfectly. Johnathan explains the process as he goes, informs you of what he finds and explains them in a manner folks like myself can easily understand. I sometimes ask the same questions more than once to understand them and hes patient in helping me understand what going on. Its actually an enjoyable time as I know Ill get educated and once youre on Johnathans wave length hes quite the character and a great source of relief in that I know my systems are in great shape.So, in closing Ive been with Daffan a couple of years now and see no reason to change. I called Daffin to fix an AC issue, they were helpful and was able to send a Tech out the same day. They explained what was needed and was up front with their pricing. I would highly recommend them for service.

I am very satisfied with Daffans service. We have been on their maintenence contract for years and will continue.to be. We purchased a new unit from them when we had to replace our old one and have been very satisfied. The young man Robert that came today was very nice polite and very helpful.

Daffan took great care of us when our AC quit working. We called after 5 and Vicky from Daffan was here by 6. She found the problem quickly and shared the information with my wife and I so we could make a decision on what to do. We agreed to have the part replaced, and after she replaced it she found that there was warranty savings. That saved us over $300. Very thankful for her professionalism, quick response, and finding us any savings she could. I would recommend Daffan if you need service on your AC.

We have used Daffan on multiple occasions and with different houses weve lived in. The staff is always very courteous and professional. Our technician, John, was such a nice young man, as have been all of our past technicians. The staff are very well trained and good problem solvers. Air conditioning quit working this morning. Called at 8 am and had Johnathan here at 2 pm. He was quickly able to diagnose the problem and had the needed replacement part in hand. Our ac stopped working in the heat of the day today. We called Daffan at 3:30 pm on a Friday evening and within 3 hours, they had a technician here and our problem diagnosed and fixed and cool air blowing again! The technician was very polite, knowledgeable, and informative! Would highly recommend!

Our AC went out early this morning. We called Daffan and they had Ryan here within 3 hours. It took him about 5 minutes to diagnose the problem and give us a quote! The repairs were completed in a very timely manner. Ryan and his trainee were both very professional and courteous and very knowledgeable. They were able to answer all of our question!

My boyfriend had called Daffan to schedule an appt for someone to come out to check my AC unit to confirm the work of a company I had been using for my AC services for a few years. As Jonathan checked two of my units, I was informed that the drain pan that I was told by my other AC people had been replaced, had actually not been replaced. He also informed me of options that could have at least given me a warranty on one of my units that I paid $3000 for a new coil part. I was very impressed with Jonathan and the knowledge and insight I was given. I will be calling Daffan to schedule my future service agreements starting Fall this year. Two good young men got me fixed up quickly. Friendly, polite, professional. I signed up for Daffans yearly warranty service and got a quote on another small job. They even put up with an old man complaining about how Trane cut its warranty in half (ran out in Jan 2024) because the builder didnt send in a registration card. I lose 5 years of warranty because a builder didnt fill out a piece of paper? Shame on you, Trane!!!!

Robert was very quick at resolving our issue and getting us back online! Price for part was extreme (given the retail price online is 7% of the amount charged). (Note: Part does come with a good warranty.) Service contract offered with rebate makes it worth it to maintain the unit. Will recommend to others!

Ryan called to inform us of his ETA.Upon his arrival he greeted us then asked about our issue with the AC Compressor.After asking some questions Ryan started his Diagnosis then gave us a review of the issue. Ryan recommended replacing the Compressor because the old unit is Nineteen years old.I asked Ryan to advise whomever handles the review of a new unit to call us so we can schedule a meeting.Ryan was very professional, knowledgeable and polite.

I see all these 5 ⭐ reviews but Im giving 3. The service was exceptional, the technician was very knowledgeable & efficient. Daffan even had the technician arrive the same day within 4 hours. Im dropping 2 ⭐ specifically because of the fee just for coming out. I understand the necessity because youre running a business and sometimes the repair may be extremely minor or the customer does not want to purchase services. However, if a customer needs a costly repair and elects to hire Daffan to do the repair, is waiving the fee just for showing up completely outside the realm of possibilities? How badly does Daffan need the extra $100 fee if the customer is willing to pay $500+ for parts and labor? This practice may be industry standard but seems a bit unfair to the customer. I sincerely do appreciate the quick and efficient service and the high level of knowledge of your technician though.

Our family has been doing business with Daffan for probably 15 years and their service has always been top quality. Every serviceman has been knowledgeable, courteous and prompt. Great company!! But our requested tech is always Jonathan…. He is remarkable in his efficiency, trustworthiness, and advice regarding our system!5/26/24. Needed emergency help this Sunday morning and Daffan responded quickly by sending Vicki - she was super! Found the problem quickly and had the cool air back for us! Robert came to our home to see why our air conditioner was not working and found that our blower motor had bit the dust. Luckily, the motor was still under warranty as it is was only 7 years old!Robert called the office and got the part ordered and came back to install the motor all within a couple of days.Robert is professional, kind and was conscientious of our budget constraints. This was a great company to have out to fix my ac that wasn’t working. Scott was the technician that came out. He came out super fast same day so that impressed me first off. Then he fixed it also same day so I am super happy. So I purchased a maintenance plan with them and they will come out and check my heater and ac each year and I will trust them to keep my stuff running in tip top shape. We had our AC go out after 5 pm.A sweet lady answered the phone and quickly notified a technician who promptly called. He arrived 30 minutes later and fixed the issue quickly. He was friendly and energetic despite the fact that he was probably at the high end of a long day. Highly recommend this company.

The most superb customer service that could be asked for!! Had issues with my HVAC and they had someone respond right away even though it is the busiest time of year!! Tony exhausted all efforts to troubleshoot the problem, when I decided to purchase a new system, Tracie was there to assist in the purchase the very next day!! Daffan has been my HVAC company for many years and I’ve never had any issues getting the maintenance and service I’ve needed in an efficient and professional manner. Today however, they raised the bar for everyone! They came for the regular maintenance check and at the end, told me there was no charge because having recently been widowed they wanted to offer their condolences by doing this service at no charge. What a blessing! They really know how to serve their customers in a meaningful way. I’m very thankful and know that God will help them prosper as they help others.

I called to get a quote for moving to air-conditioning units so that a pad could be built. They had a guy there in less than an hour and provided the quote with no issues. I was really pleasantly surprised by the prompt service.

Daffan has been our HVAC contractor for about 19 years. They have continued to provide great professional service throughout the years. Yesterday (After normal Work hours) our outside unit failed to turn on. Ryan was the Tech to come out and did a complete check and found out that there was two (2) software updates That needed to be installed on our unit. He also found out that the outside unit turn off temp was programmed to turn off at 30 degrees (Thats why our unit did not come on) He lowered the shut off temp setting to 10 degrees and the unit turned on and has been working since. Please give Ryan our thanks for his knowledge and his skill set as the temps were approx 27 degrees. We feel very comfortable with Daffan and will continue to use them for all our HVAC needs.

It amazes me that these folks have gotten so many good reviews and this will be my third attempt to try and post this poor review. Daffan heating and AC tech showed up at my residence promptly and that is the only thing conducted properly and I will explain why in detail. My outside condenser unit fan was no longer working causing the compressor to over heat and no longer blowing cold air inside. The tech recommended a new condenser fan motor costing 750.00 and he said the capacitors inside the unit were working properly and had they been bad they would cost 450.00 each. I quickly realized that these folks were dishonest knowing that capacitors cost 15.00 each and new fan motor cost around 120.00. I was charged 99.00 for service call and tech was sent on his way. I then called Texas Made Heating and AC out of Granbury and I highly recommend these folks. To make a long story short both capacitors in outside condenser unit were bad and Outside condenser fan was fine and at a cost of 320.00 my system was up and running perfectly. If if you heed nothing from this review, the very least you should do is get a second opinion before using Deffan heating and AC.

After many years with Daffan maintaining our original build systems we chose to have them replace our entire HVAC system with Amana components hoping for another 20 years of reliable heating and air conditioning. Nearing the end of our first 2 years under full warranty they have stood behind some duct and plumbing issues that were from the original build. They value their word.

It looks like you cannot respond directly to a review response, I can either delete the original post edit mine here, so I will counter here. (The original post is below I will mark it with ==== between them)I never accused of dishonesty, and I never said I didn’t agree to a service charge, I said I considered it ludicrous, let’s be honest consumers are getting smarter and your attempt at gaslighting here is very funny to me. When you say “explain pricing structure” what you mean is that your “upfront pricing” phrase was repeated a bunch of times. Actual explanation ie an itemized receipt or invoice is what I asked for. That seems to be something Daffan and many in the HVAC business don’t seem to want to share. It is great to give discounts (that and the bi-annual services are why I have stayed on so long) but when we can’t even see where the discount comes except “here is the member price and here is the non-member price” it gives no confidence to the consumer that they are not being high ended on the parts etc. it just says join our club and “trust us we do it cheaper” with no evidence. I fully authorize Daffan here on a public forum to post a itemized invoice for my last transaction (PII such as address, phone number, CC numbers are excluded from the authorization, but my name can be on it). Like I say below, the service is generally good (Most of the techs I have worked with are very good and polite), I would love to have the confidence to know where the money goes.Say what you will, I think it raises concerns in all consumers. I even told your supervisor I wasn’t sure 100% I am cancelling. There is an ease to it and I never denied good service happens (from the technicians and usually from the admins), but for all the hoopla about being different it just puts you in the category with everyone else in the industry, it doesn’t make you stand out it, it makes it feel like there is room to hide things. I ain’t in the industry but to pretend the general public and consumers don’t recognize this happens is insulting to everyone involved (How may news specials have we all seen about hidden costs?). The prattle and deflection will continue but some company will take advantage of a market where people want transparency, understand our dollars don’t go as far and that the dollars we spend we want to know where they are going.Have a great day.====================I have been a Daffan Member for somewhere around 5 years (Brief break on it while i had to travel for work, maybe 6 months).I have used them to replace one of my entire HVAC and was pleased with the installation (That was expensive though as anyone reading this would understand.)The technicians have always been top tier and generally speaking the administrators have also been pretty darn good.I am cancelling my membership, i thought it was a good investment and in their defense it IS in the agreement, but getting a service charge to fix a fuse on an HVAC when a bi-annual service call is still pending is rather ludicrous to me (Maybe not to anyone else), but 37$ a month when only called about 1.5 times per year (Give or take) is just not financially smart, simple math 444$ a year and you only save 50$ on a service call.Lastly (I know this is long), but the real questions arise when you see an un-itemized bill. The total fee to replace a 2 pole 40 amp 24 volt connector was about 298$ (After the very service minded technician managed to talk them into then waiving the service fee of 54$). I own a small business I understand overhead etc, but the entire service took about 45 minutes and the part is listed on amazon and for 13.99$.So the total would have been (Without the service minded tech)Service and installation - 352$Part 14-20$? lets go high end 50$= 302$I am then surmising Daffan charges roughly 300 per hour for calls.If we do take out the 54$ service chargeService and installation 298$Part (Again high end) 50$total= 248$So again I guess its 248$ an hour for Daffan.The invoice I received only says Unit controller they do not itemize.

Daffan wins again! My emergency heat setting on my heat pump did not provide any heat during our recent spell of bitter cold. I called Daffan and a repair man arrived within 4 hours, even after I had told the dispatcher that there was no urgency. He diagnosed and fixed the problem within 30 minutes and charged me ZERO.

I had a new thermostat put in to replace an old one in the house. Received my bill by email and it showed the total for the replacement. Wanted a breakdown of the replacement amount(cost of thermostat, labor, discounts, tax etc) called the daffan office and was told they dont do breakdown, just the final price. I understand these big companies can charge what they please. The cost was high in my opinion for what I received in regards to time/labor and actual thermostat. Have had service contract for a year, but will be looking around now.

Discovered A/C was not working (blowing hot air) on Sunday. Called about 2:30 on Monday and they were here by 4:00. Technician was polite and quick. The problem was simply old, frayed wiring. A/C up and running by 4:30.I did sign up for their maintenance plan and with that received a discount on the service call AND because I have United Co-Op I will also get a rebate from them (United) for each of my units. Our smart thermostat wasn’t communicating with the hub. I called at 4:08. The repairman called me at 5:30. He came, fixed the problem. Every employee that we’ve had contact with has been extremely knowledgeable, very efficient and courteous. I’d give them more than 5 stars if I could!!

We have an annual service agreement on our heating and cooling unit and had service repairs today. Their quick response and quality of work and communication are what earns them 5 stars from us.

Noticed our AC suddenly quit cooling. We couldnt find any obvious reason so we called Daffan about 3:30 in the afternoon. They immediately got a tech scheduled to come check it out. They informed us then that there is a service fee of $99. (We are in Glen Rose). Just after calling, we noticed the compressor came back on. Thinking we were successful in our efforts to find the problem, we called back and canceled. It didnt take long to realize it stopped again, so we called them back. By this time it was about 4:00. A technician, Nikki, arrived about 6:30. Nikki was able to pinpoint the problem pretty quickly. She was very professional and knowledgeable. It took her about an hour. She thoroughly checked several things to make sure she fixed the issue. Even with her being here about an hour, how quick they responded, essentially turned in to after hours we were only charged the $99 Service fee. (She didnt have to replace any parts). But no after hours fees or fees for the immediate response. We were very impressed. We will use them again should the need arise and would definitely recommend this company.

5 STARS! I can not begin to tell you the professionalism of EVERY employee at DAFFAN! We had 3 companies come to give us a quote on a new A/C system. ONLY DAFFAN started in the attic! We needed all new duct work. They showed it to me, it was disgusting! My husband was out of town when the a/c stopped working; total anxiety came over me!! Will from Daffan calmed my nerves and even installed a window unit to cool the house down until they finished the job. There had to have been 8 men in my house at one time fixing everything and they were amazing!! If you use anyone but DAFFAN, you are wasting your money! Weve had the pleasure of doing business with these guys twice. Lauren advised it was possible the tech might have to come by after hours due to service call volume. To my amazement he was at our door within 10 minutes! Foe both visits the techs, Zach & Ryan, solved the problem very quickly and we were up and running in no time. Outstanding service.Update: just had them over again and Vickie the Tech was very thorough, explained everything, fixed the AC and we havent had a problem with it since. Excellent all over again.

I really can’t say enough about the Daffan company. In general they are a very professional and honest team. We had them out for service on a very old system, and not once did we get a “sales pitch” to replace it. They agreed along with my hubby and that as long as we know it may “not be cost efficient”, and we may only get another year or two out if the old system…they were respectful with our decision that we will replace it when we are ready. Daffan also installed two mini-splits in our home. They took a lot of time to decide where to place them and what type and size to use, and we have been incredibly happy! Dustin (and a couple others) have been so professional, and really took the time to explain all the details to us. They really try to customize your families needs and desires…. They do great work and were on time. However its a little concerning when air conditioner was running great, they came out did a maintenance check, now 2 weeks later air conditioner needs repairs. Was quoted 3 different prices and feel I was overcharged, invoices are hard to read as well.

For some unique issues in our case. The technician believes that he got everything fixed, but offered to return at any time over the weekend since he is on call. I feel comfortable in recommending him even with the final outcome still pending. He appears to know what he’s doing, and, not believe that everything is going to be great.

Winter Jan 5, 2024James called before the appointment to let me know he’s on the way. He checked the unit and listed several issues that are not causing problems but may cause service interruption. Service tech Will came promptly this morning to do schedule system check and maintenance. Considering the system is old it still passed all tests and checks except the inside capacitor. Will explained the problem, test measurements, cost; and we discussed options. Considering the recent winter I did not want to take a chance on system failure during a possible crisis.The outside unit is working well and needed no service. A checklist was provided of the condition of both units and items to be aware of in the future.I’m pleased with the service and the young man sent by Daffan.
