Privette Heating & Air Conditioning

Having a previous review where I had some frustration, I was given a call by the Privettes to remedy the situation. The privettes truly care about their customer service satisfaction and the work that they do. Our new unit is working great with this 20 degree weather we are warm and toasty. We appreciate the service and after getting multiple quotes from different companies Private was the best price by far.

Up grading a heating and air conditioning system is a significant investment for me. After much research involving product reliability, cost and looking at reviews, I asked Michael Privette to do the install. He answered all my questions and worked with me concerning the installation date. His crew arrived on time, were courteous and cleaned up after they finished the job. It’s refreshing to know that old school customer service, starting with the business office to job completion, still exists. Great work, thanks again.

They came out and replaced our a/c unit and furnace. They were very knowledgeable and nice, answering all of our questions. Their prices are reasonable and they take good care of the customer. We will definitely continue using them for all of our a/c and heating needs.

This company will forever get our business and we will recommend them as much as we possibly can. We had lost our ac during 100 temps and the first company we called no showed 3 times the 3rd time going unresponsive to calls and texts. We found out about Privette from family, called and he came out right away after hearing about our other experience. He was thorough, honest and fixed us right up. We were expecting it to be a huge expensive fix but Privettes honest solution left us with a much smaller bill and cold air. We are so thankful to come across him even though we had to have a bad experience with the other company and 5 days in a hotel. Thank you Privette. Yall are awesome!

We had a service contract with Privette, and they supposedly checked the 2 ac units in May. They did not report problems with the drain, the shut off switches, and only recommended replacing a capacitor. These systems failed this month. Not sure what I was paying for, but the trust is gone. Also, they left the door to the filter open on my smaller unit, letting attic air feed it.

Has been over five years since I had my carrier air-conditioning system put in on a new construction by Privette Air. Just had my first service Call since installation and had same-day service change out a capacitor for a reasonable cost. I would say a couple hundred bucks after five years is a pretty good deal and highly recommend these guys.

The day my home air conditioner started failing I called several places. All those were too busy. The fine folks at Privette found a way to work me in later that day, figured out the problem, found a way to keep a/c running until part came in the mail and installed it today.Great service and expertise.If you live in or near Gilmer, call these folks first!

Privette always gets someone out quickly, the communication is great, and I never feel like a dummy when I break things (which is often). The price is always fair, they explain what theyre doing, and they answer all my questions. Theyve saved me from having to call someone many times, but when they have to come out, theyre always professional, fair, nice, and reassuring. Ive used then twice in the last two weeks (different issues), and 3 other times in the past. I highly recommend this company.

What a great company to deal with. Privette Heating and A/C does what they say they will do. Reminds me of “old fashioned” customer service that does not exist today with other companies. They did my work promptly, professionally, and were a pleasure to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others for their heating or A/C needs.

I drove over an hour for a scheduled appointment only to have them no-show. I promptly called the owner and he told me he had forgotten about our appointment and could not show at our agreed time saying he had another meeting instead. When I questioned how this reflects on his customer service he promptly hung up on me. This behavior was not only unprofessional, but displays poor customer service. BEWARE of this company. Actions speak louder than words.

The best company ! Mr Privette gave a great maintenance agreement. He is also is hard working and upfront with me . Thank you for being a company that puts the customer first ! You will always have my business!
