I contacted Express HVAC because my 90 year old mother in law didn’t have any heat and they got a service tech to her house before 8:30 am and fixed the problem. They are great and I will not hesitate to call them again. Great Company.

I was able to make an appointment on the date and at the time I needed. The technician did showed up on time. The technician was supposed to call 30 mins prior to coming and he did not. Once he arrived at my house he rang the doorbell and just looked at me. He didnt say who he was or how he could help. I had to ask and then explain. The price of the service call and per pound of refrigerant was insanely high. I asked for a quote to fix the AC and never received one. He said he would send it that day and its been a few days now. I randomly called other companies in the area and this company was by far the most expensive. I called to ask why and the lady said she would talk to the owner and call me back by 4pm that day. Its been a few days and no response. I would not recommend this company due to the cost, lack of response if you have an issue, and lack of professionalism.Update: After multiple calls, the owner called me back. He said I wasnt charged correctly. The technician should have told me the amount of refrigerant that was needed and the cost prior to performing the work. The owner was going to personally look at the outside unit and refund me $100. He was supposed to call me back and give a quote on fixing the leak. He did refund $100, but he never called back. I didnt receive the quote and its been another week or more.I would change my review to be more positive but they continue to not do everything they say.

We have used Express HVAC for three years now. From Tim the owner to Cristal and Tana who have moved on, to John one of the current HVAC technicians, we have had nothing but the most professional and caring service. I couldnt have asked for better HVAC company! They have always addressed all my questions and concerns. They are highly knowledgeable and informed and work on getting the best price available for any thing needed. We had an entire system replaced 2 years ago and they worked with our insurance company and did an amazing job! John has been out for our fall and our spring tune up, and prior to that came and cleaned out our blocked condensate line. He is very respectful, considerate, friendly and professional, answers all questions thoroughly and is very knowledgeable. Im very grateful and happy with Express HVAC!

We had our HVAC system checked, as it is almost 3 years old. Two very well trained technicians reassured us all is working as designed. Fair pricing, and easy to schedule. We recently had a blower failure, on 11/24 the tech. diagnosed the problem. Lennox warranted the fan and installed the replacement today, 11/27! Great service!!

Our heating system is not keeping up with the cold. Up on calling in within 3 hours we had a service take here named Jason was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable has diagnosed the issues and needs to order parts to repair the issue. He did show me how to do a few workarounds to get some heat in the house so that we can stay warm long enough to get the parts in and installed. All in all Jason was great

I was really happy with the service.........until I wasnt.I was having an issue with my Sensi thermostat not turning off the heat. Visited the Sensi website to troubleshoot and not finding an answer ultimately searched for a local Sensi dealer to fix the problem. Called Express HVAC because they were on the website as Sensi Professionals.Very friendly response and technician was dispatched quickly. Technician shows up and takes a look at the thermostat and states its wired correctly and double checks wiring at furnace. Charged $89 informed us that the thermostat was defective and later sent invoice stating to replace thermostat. Spent $100 replacing thermostat and installed using the exact same connections. Still didnt work correctly. Out of frustration I called the Sensi tech support line. While on hold for over an hour I sent an email to Express HVAC informing them that replacing the thermostat didnt solve the issue. Finally got a Sensi tech support representative that asked that I describe how thermostat was wired. Within 30 seconds the representative told me the thermostat was wired for a heat pump and not a gas furnace and instructed me to move one wire to another terminal. Moving the wire fixed the problem immediately. The representative told me that any qualified AC technician should have recognized that the thermostat was wired for a heat pump and not a gas furnace. Now Im out $89 for a service call that should have fixed the issue plus another $100 for a replacement thermostat when there was nothing wrong with the first one.I contacted Express HVAC by email explaining what had happened including a picture of the before and after wiring and voicing my disappointment. I had hoped to resolve our issues before leaving a review but after almost a week with no reply to emails or voicemails I feel like I need to inform potential customers of what may be in store using this company.

Tim is amazing! my husband and I have been in a pickle with no cool air for the past two months in one of the hottest summers on record. Tim and his team have jumped right in to help us find a solution where other companies have missed. Most importantly Express HVAC has treated us like valued human beings and made sure we had some reprieve while we figure out all our options moving forward. I am impressed how they are not rushing us to make an extensive and expensive replacement but encouraging us to walk with patience while we figure out the full reason our system is/was failing. The service was great for this trip. However, I am still not happy with the initial installation and I have asked a representative to call me to discuss this again. Initial installation was faulty and still creating problems. Everyone who has come out has commented that it was not installed properly. I will use this company for maintenance, but when I need to replace, I will definitely use a different company.

We recently bought a home, and noticed the AC was struggling to cool as well as it should. Our realtor recommended Express as he has several dealings with them in the past, so we figured wed give them a shot.They were able to get a technician (Tana) out the same day to take a look, he took his time, was knowledgeable, answered all the silly questions I had and made recommendations to improve my AC within my budget, and he even corrected a few problems at no charge just because they were easy quality of life fixes.Out of several companies who came out, Express was the only one that identified the work that needed to be done, didnt try to upsell me on equipment or services I didnt need. I was provided a quick and easy to understand bid for the work he recommended, and a few days later, they were out doing the job.We couldnt be happier with the services they provided, my house is being cooled 100% better, the end price for the job was spot on with his estimate for the work.Were so happy with the work they did, we just contacted them again for insulation work for the attic, and Im sure they will again provide us with a fair price and quality service.

Highly recommend - We called late in the day and someone was out that evening to look at our a/c unit. That same evening we were able to set up the installation and arrange a 0% financing plan. The installation took place the very next day and our house was nicely air conditioned in just a few hours. Whole process took less 24 hours and we were kept in the loop the entire time. No wondering or guessing what would happen next. They even did a 2 week post install inspection just to make sure everything was working perfectly.

Not a good experience from the start.....on 8/12 called for pricing and scheduled same day service. Tech arrived late and as hes walking up the driveway he states I dont know what you were quoted but its going to be more (uhmmm.. what! My AC needed refrigerant (what I got pricing on and confirmed they had it) tech doesnt have refrigerant with him, so had to go back to the office. I called their office to reconfirm my price, it was finally confirmed. They scheduled a different tech for 8/13. Tech arrived about 4 hour after my service time frame. My AC is a R22, takes at least 6lbs to refill /recharge it. He completed the service says the unit is good to go. Today on 8/18, the AC is blowing warm air again. This is ridiculous! Robbery! Service paid for but not rendered.

A/C went out on a Friday that was 100+ degrees. Called two service companies, neither of which could come out in less than a week. Found Express HVAC on Google. He arrived one hour later, ran tests and told me my options and costs regarding repair or replace. Since my unit was 12 years old I chose to replace. He said an installation team would be there the next morning (Saturday). They arrived right on time, replaced the outside unit, reworked the inside unit for the new coolant and completely cleaned up everything. They then proceeded to check my other unit and clean the attic overflow line. All this with no additional weekend charge and at a great overall price. Cant say enough good things about these people. They are the BEST!

John provided good service and he came out on short notice, which was great since it was 30 degrees outside. I was surprised to see the bill for $205 though. There were no parts involved other than a couple of fuses and running some tests. I realize that HVAC is expensive and maybe that is the going rate for 45 min. I expected a bill around $150 from past experience.I was hoping to make Express my permanent HVAC company, but I will have to shop around for the future.

I don’t recommend Express HVAC. Run and find someone else. You see, most AC units when they break can be diagnosed and fixed by a technician with few years of experience.However, when things does not go too well, that is when you need a reliable company with professional, expert, and passion to chase your problem and fix it so that you as a client are served correctly.Well, express HVAC failed on all aspects. Even though my AC was less than two years old with an easy fix. They just screwed up. Hence I don’t recommend them and I highly advise you to avoid them unless you want to be in the house of pain. Don’t try your luck with them in central Texas triple digit heat days. You will regret it.Here is what happened with me:My downstairs AC unit, less than 2 years old stopped working. I called express HVAC as I saw a post in our community said the owner lives in community and I thought ok give him my businesses since he is a neighbor.Next day they sent me a technician. The time slot was 3 to 5 and he arrive passed 6.I can tell the guy was working all day as he looked tired and overworked. I offered him water and ice.He started to diagnose the issue. He could not figure it out. This is when experience, and honestly matters. He should have just said I don’t know.But he did not, he started to guess. He said, maybe you have rodents! They chewed the wire. So I said: easy: run a continuity test with your multimeter and you can see if the wires have any break in them. Oh, yeah, I can do that. He ran the test and all checked ok. Then he said, oh the problem is your thermostats! These do not go bad that often, but I told him ok let’s replace it. So we replaced it. (I had an a thermostat I was planning to install, so I said: ok here is a new unit. Let’s change it. So he changed it. It did not work.He went to the unit and started to mess with the control board. He burned like 4 fuses!!! Then he said: your transformer is bad. I said ok, let’s replace it. He replaced it. Here is the second problem: he replaced it with a used transformer and a different spec. Not new. I told him, it looks old, has tape all over it, he said oh, it was sitting in my car with a tape on it. (New ones come inside a box, so I knew he was not telling me the truth, but I just wanted the AC to work.That did not solve the issues, and he played with the control board and instead of it saying code 0, ready it was now blinking error code I think 20 then it stopped working completely. He started to google the stuff. I kid you not. He started to google for answers!!!When I saw that, I said enough. You are tired, clearly not the issues you had described.We agreed that he will talk to customer service and to schedule me the next day to solve it.The next day comes, no calls. I called the office several times, and a nice lady answered, but really not helpful, she could not schedule me and she said they will call me. Few hours later, no calls. I called again and again and till she answered and she said: they left you a voicemail mail. I said I am using the phone now, and no voice mail.Then she gave me the technician phone. I called him and he said: I talked to customer service and we need to replace your board and fan!I said no thanks. I will get another second opinion.I called green leaf, they came the next day the told me the transformer he installed was bad, old and had to be replaced and whatever the other tech did he screwed the board and fried it. Once the power is back, it was just the conductor outside. No need to replace the fan!This company should have trained its employees to say I don’t know. Not to just go on a mission to replace every part out there. Especially for new units. Train them to call each other when they need help, not google for answer. If you promise to call, do it.I am checking this company off my list.

I just had my life saved by these guys! Well I feel like they saved it. The called a little upset after a whole day of being unable to find anyone to come to my house. Tim ( the owner) said there would be no problem getting someone out to me tonight.I am pregnant and have a toddler. It was a rough day being in a 90 degree house.They came out on a Friday night, on a holiday weekend at 8pm and fixed the A/C at my house.Chris showed up on time and was extreme friendly( I was surprised that he was so nice after working a whole day and then having to make an evening call). He fixed the problem within 15 minutes. No joke only 15 minutes. Their service fee was about $60 cheaper than anyone else has quoted. Thanks guys for saving my holiday weekend with my family! You are the best!

Shannon was a nice guy and came out quickly on a Saturday to repair my AC/Heatpump that was not cooling. He added freon and told me the outside condencer unit had a leak, then quoted about $2400 to repair or $3600 to replace. The freon did get cold air to my house, but it was only cooling about 10 degrees less than the indoor temperature.Not wanting to spend $3600 if I didnt have to, I called around for a second opinion. I had a tech from Blue Wave come out and he spent the day looking at my unit running different tests. It turns out I needed a new TXV and not a whole new unit. The TXV is located in the unit in my attic, so replacing the outside unit would not have resolved my issue. The Blue Wave tech had to actually remove 2 pounds of freon because Express HVAC had over charged it. At $70 a pound for freon, I was basically over charged $140 by Express HVAC.The reason the Express HVAC tech thought there was a leak was because the coils had oil on them, which would normally indicate a leak. The oil was actually dielectric fluid from a capacitor right above the coils that had developed a hole from rubbing on the coil.With the new TXV and run capacitor installed, my AC is running better than it has in a very long time. While Shannon was a nice guy and technically had my AC running cooler, it almost ended up costing me a lot of money for something that would not have fixed the actual issue. He should have been able to see the pressure was off and determine it wasnt just an issue of needing freon.Live and learn, it does not hurt to get a second opinion before shelling out tons of money on replacing something that may just need a repair. The TXV replacement cost about $570 to have replaced and saved me over $3000 in unnecessary repairs.

On January 6, 2017, my heater was not operating correctly. I called the Express HVAC-services office in Georgetown and explained to the front office my problem. The heater would come on but there was no flame in the heater, it only blew out cold air for a short period of time and then the heater would shut off. They said okay, and they told me that someone will be to my house in about 2 to 4 hours. My Tech name was Alex, and he was very polite, knowledgeable, and on time as promised. He when to work, located my problem and repaired it on the spot in my home. If I ever have another heater problem, I will request Alex as my Tech. He was great and very professional. I wish more Techs were like him. Thank you for your service.

I call Express Because my A/C system wasn’t working properly technician only spent 5 minutes doing service but at the end he said everything is ok but the house wasn’t getting cooler he also said I need to change a motor and some cleaning upstairs in the system both services will cost me almost $2700 I did call other service company they check my system and they find out that the system needs refrigerant gas so they do poor maintenance service I will not call them back

After receiving the run around from our home warranty service, we discovered Express HVAC. Tim came right out, found the problem and presented us with with several scenarios. We choose to go with a new AC unit. Tims crew installed the unit.
