Milestone Electric, AC, & Plumbing

Not happy with Milestone. First of all their plumber went outside in his shoe coverings and walked through the mud - and then came back in and tracked it all through my house. There was mud in my BEDROOM. To have this guy track mud literally all through my house, leaving mud across my bedroom floor, is disgusting and infuriating. Instead of sleeping that night, I was literally mopping my floors at midnight. Fast forward to this morning - my husband’s day off and our ONE day to sleep in. At 8:30 my husband’s phone starts ringing like crazy. It’s Milestone saying they’re outside on our porch with the city wanting to inspect the electrical work they did. No notice or anything - they just showed up. We were told by the Milestone guy who did the work we wouldn’t have to be home for the inspection. So my husband had to throw on some clothes and go out in the cold to let these guys in our garage. We spent close to $20,000 with Milestone and I’m disgusted as to how there was no manager follow up, and only hassles to deal with afterwards. We’ll call someone else the next time we need something done.

And after explaining in detail what was needed to resolve my electrical problem, the work was promptly scheduled and completed the same day. Excellent work. We treat you like family is an understatement Christian proved he is part of our family over and over. He went above and beyond my imagination.In the beginning: Christian did a wonderful job of explaining our options. He was patient in providing the outline of our pipeline plans as they had been modified to the remodeled areas of our house. Amazing goal to repair and balance the system will be achieved. Bradley Browning was absolutely excellent! One of us always has lots of questions and wants to fully understand the ins and outs of our AC system. Since this is a new system and our first tune-up, we had plenty to ask. Bradley was incredibly patient, informative, and thorough. He answered all our questions and even highlighted some membership benefits we weren’t aware of. I couldn’t be more satisfied with his service!

Technician Saw La and team diagnosed a cracked pipe just under our foundation and expertly managed the repair. We were provided with pictures and video documenting both the damage and the work done. All the team were very professional and with the city inspection I will be satisfied the work was done properly and will provide a lasting solution. Saw even corrected some minor issues that were not a part of the original bid. Thats the kind of thing that generates good will.

Owen performed an outstanding job today maintaining our three HVAC units. He arrived promptly and was professional. Not only did Owen provide excellent customer service and was knowledgeable about our systems, he also recommended a solution to help minimize the never ending dust issue in our home. Bradley Browning came out today to do our heating checkup. He was very knowledgeable and thorough! He answered all of our questions. We were very “heat pump illiterate”! Now, we are much more knowledgeable. By far, the best technician we have had!

Marcus from the HVAC department was friendly, polite, and professional. We had another company out first and weren’t satisfied with them at all. I have a lot more confidence that Marcus’ diagnosis was correct. Not only did he assess the problem we are having, he also checked what the other company said was the issue and confirmed that it was not.

On time, very professional you could tell he knew what ne was doing. I felt very comfortable letting him go to work on my electricity. He made my house a lot safer and explained how everything worked and what he had done. Very good job !

I wanted to wait until I actually got this issue repaired before leaving this review. Now that it is fixed, I wanted to share my experience. I previously contacted Milestone a while back to come out about an issue regarding my oven tripping my breaker. I paid Milestone $144.99 to literally turn my oven on to let the breaker trip, and then flip my breaker back and forth and tell me that my oven would need to be replaced. This turned out to be a complete lie. They did not even take my oven out from the wall to inspect the appliance to come to this conclusion. Thankfully, I found Elite Appliance Repair, which does honest work and actually resolved the issue for me. They knew IMMEDIATELY that the breaker was the issue and not my oven. My breaker indeed needed to be replaced, and I never needed a new stove. I am really disappointed in my experience with Milestone because this could have been resolved by them being honest with me about what was actually the problem.

This was my first experience with the Milestone Service Group and it was very pleasant and informative. Jamison was patient and very knowledgeable. He explained all the options that would improve the quality of my airflow.

Came out quickly and was dressed professionally, very courteous, confident and knowledgeable, and easy to approach with questions. Even had permits pulled and all marker guys out within a couple hours! Next day, a new fella came out but was already up to speed and got started. He and his apprentice did a very good job and worked well together to resolve any issues that came up. That’s exactly the way it should be! Incredible service! Now just waiting for day 3 to have the repair done and pass inspection.

We have been Mikestone customers for several years now. Today our thermostat went out mid afternoon. We were so fortunate they were able to send James McCreary out within a few hours after we called. I had Grant install a surge protector and my Tesla charger. Gave me some recommendations and explained everything clearly. He did offer and the advantage subscription and I was not interested.He did not push the subject and respected my choice. It is great to have service that understands when you decline something.The overall quality was great he was extremely professional and left the area as clean as he found it.He also was extremely timely and completed the service faster than expected.Would recommend.

These guys fixed a temperature problem that I had in my master bedroom for 4 years. 4 years I was dying of heat in 1 room and I thought there was no fixing it. Then I heard on the radio that they can fix it or I pay nothing. Thomas Sparks came out here with his partner and saved my life. Now I can breathe. I am no longer a roast turkey baking in my Master bedroom. Thank you Milestone I will never forget you.

Jonathan and milestone Electric were sensational! They did a beautiful and wonderful job on replacing my electrical panel and making sure everything was safe and ready to go. What was most special is, I have a father who has Alzheimers and is on hospice care. Milestone put me to the top of their list and were here within 30 minutes and worked diligently the rest of the day to make my home safe. I would highly recommend this company! Had another job done with Milestone, this time electrical. Started out with Steven checking everything as I wanted some ceiling fans installed. They needed to add electrical work for them to be installed. I purchased my own ceiling fans and they came back to install them after they did all the electrical work. They could’ve done it same day but I hadn’t bought my ceiling fans yet. Tyler and his partner did a great job installing everything! We love our new ceiling fans!Tyler came back with 2 other guys, Brandon and another gentleman and did a bigger job changing out our switches and outlets for safer electricity. They did a wonderful job and were all very nice. Would highly recommend Milestone!

Zane came over today to do our bi-annual a/c & furnace inspection and did an amazing job with that as well as helping to throughly explain what other issues we might be facing without being pushy about selling us these things we needed to have done. He was personable, respectful and very accommodating. We definitely recommend milestone and ask for Zane if he’s available!

Tyler and Harrison were wonderful. They not only did a great job, but they also made sure our house was much safer. We are so thankful for them.

Justin was very professional. After checking both units in the attic he checked both units outside. He made a video to show me what the issues were and then showed me what it would take to fix it and what it would cost. I authorized Justin to replace the condenser motors in both units and the current controller on one of the units. He was prepared and had the parts needed to fix the units and went right to work. He did a great job. I would highly recommend him.

Cody was very friendly, knowledgeable and thoroughly explained the work that was done, including showing me a video of our equipment, which was very informative. He explained work that was recommended and left a written estimate, which I appreciate. If we have any further needs, we won’t hesitate to call Milestone.

Chris was awesome! He took extra care of servicing my a/c and educated me. He put the red carpet at my front door and wore booties over his shoes to protect my carpet. I asked him if he would help getting a boxed electric scooter I was taking back. Instead of getting one side of it, he just picked up the entire thing (over 100 pounds!) and carried it to my car! Boy he goes over and beyond for his customers! I want Chris to be the one that comes every time.

Very professional and punctual & nice. They are really good at explainingwhat needs to be done and why. Price was higher than I originally anticipated, but I will use them again.

Super fast showing up. Had an issue with cascading circuit breaker failures and out of limit voltages. He asseessed the issues fast and accurately, gave great input and made suggestions that intimately led to getting my issue solved. Great dude.

LThe Tech gave his name as Gabriel. No such name is listed. Spelling is questionable. Being candiud, overall our experience was veery good. Pricey might describe it also. Nothing bad to say about either the person signing us up nor Gabriel who did the installation. Thanks

Marcus was very attentive to my AC system and he was also very friendly. He was detailed on what he did and what needed attention. You dont get many people like him. Others would come and get the job done not saying a word. But I know right off hand hes a hard working HVAC tech.

Terrence arrived on time and was very understanding and showed compassion for the issue. After determing the root case went above and assisted in getting us scheduled for a deeper inspection before assembling options for us. He did a great job.

Loy installed security equipment for me. He also helped me through all the steps to set up the corresponding app properly with settings that were most appropriate for the environment and situation, and that I was most comfortable with. He checked on my smoke detectors for me which gave me a peace of mind and made me feel much safer. He also advised and gave me estimates for a newer system. I had questions about additional security and he assessed my home for that too, thinking through possible options and coming to a good path forward. He provided estimates for that as well. He made sure I was completely satisfied with all work and that all my questions were sufficiently answered. Loy was very professional, provided excellent service, very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I greatly appreciate his time, information he provided, and his work.

Rolando was great. He made sure all was well. Very conscience worker. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is there is always room for improvement, unless you can walk on water. Sorry, but I didnt see him do that. So, great in my book.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Robert Galvan from Milestone Electric, AC, and Plumbing, and I couldn’t be more impressed! Robert came in with a positive attitude and immediately got to work thoroughly inspecting our water lines. He proactively identified a few troubled spots and took the time to not only explain the issues but also offer reasonable, cost-effective solutions. He even helped unclog some tricky areas, saving us from future headaches. Throughout the entire process, Robert maintained such great energy and professionalism, which made the experience stress-free. I highly recommend him for any plumbing needs!

Original Review in May: Blake did great, gave me all of my various options and helped us walk through the process of replacing our Hot Water heater and fixing a water leak out front.Edited again on October 11, 2024 after talking with Milestone: William Pierson called me today and explained some of the heart and thinking behind what Milestone is about. He was very helpful and understanding. He setup an appointment to have someone come fix our leaking faucet and offered to even undo the monthly fee with no penalties. After hearing his explanation however, I declined to cancel, I received the 15% off, so Ill hang tight for the next 7 months, thats what feels right to me.Edited on October 11, 2024: First off, Blake was very kind, period.However, something I didnt realize at the time of this original review is that the overall bill would reach over $6,000, which in retrospect seems way too high for the work which was done, so I have buyers remorse the more I look back on it. And I recently found that my repaired and replaced water spigot has developed a slow leak that tightening the valve does not seem to be helping stop.Additionally, in relation to the Milestone advantage membership program which each Milestone rep heavily pushes during the pricing negotiation was not made clear to me at all and I just found out about it. When I found the $19 a month fee too expensive for our budget I was presented with this when I tried to cancel online.Hi Daniel, before canceling be sure to review our Terms of Service, including...Membership cancellation prior to 12-month completion will result in a required reimbursement payment by the customer for the sum of all discounts appliedThis shocked and frustrated me today because no one explained that to me at all during the entire process which was just a phone call when I reached out about my water leak. Im sure it was in the fine print that I signed later and didnt notice, Im not saying this is illegal but it frustrated me a lot and I wanted to let you guys know before you make the same uninformed decision I did.I guess Ill have to deal with having that membership for around 7 more months before canceling to avoid the reimbursement charges.

Jose was amazing. He explained the issue that caused the repair in detail and how the repair was fixed. He made sure the inside and outside units were working efficiently before he left. Also, he made sure to ask if we had any questions just to make sure everything was crystal clear. Great job overall!!!

Install seems good. Cosmetic work to appear into completed. Waiting in assigned handyman to call. Need for/ cover to unit installed which at later date. Nice tech experience!.

Jason Q came out to do our annual heat on the system. He informed us of some bacterial growth that was starting in our blower motor. He gave us solutions for the problem which was adding a Germicidal light with oxidation prevention. We had the work done the same day for a reasonable price. I feel much better about the longevity of our system and the quality of air that it produces. Thanks Jason!!

I continue to be impressed by Milestones service. Erik came out to do an inspection on our AC unit and did a very thorough job. He made a video outlining the state of our unit and made recommendations. Very good reliable company and Erik is a great technician.

He texted and stated he finished an earlier job quicker and asked if he could come earlier. Showed up on time. Professional and courteous. Found the problem quickly and advised of the plan and the cost.

Blake came to help with our toilet issues. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. He went above and beyond to answer all questions and check anything needed. He made a great impression and we will be using milestone now for all our needs thanks to him.

Milestone electric has the most annoying commercials. Do better.I’m using their competition just because of milestone’s commercials. I never thought I would have to listen to “plumbing, plumbing plumbing plumbing, plumbing plumbing. Plumbing. Plumbing plumbing plumbing, plumbing. Every morning! No one cares that you do plumbing services.

Carson Henley Came out to do a full diagnostic of my AC/Heat unit which keeps freezing up. He took the time to check the unit inside and out, running the unit to observe the situation fully while use photograph and video to show what the issue was. He further explained what need to be done. He supplied me with the necessary information to forward to my home warranty. I appreciate the time Carson took. He was very polite and patient with my concerns, making sure I was able to fully understand the issue and repairs needed.

Water leak. Ugh. Very fast response, thorough inspection of the plumbing at home. Several issues uncovered. Team of Michael Waeley, Josh, Austin Henricks, Josiah Keathley, and others came to handle it and are professional, thorough, neat, personable and very easy to deal with. Very consistent method across all the technicians. Training must be very effective. Trevor did the initial inspection, analysis. He explained everything very clearly.

Blake came out and said plumbing is not the first step in fixing our problem. He set us up an appointment with an electrician and they came the same day. Roland was our electrician and he was very quick with diagnosing and fixing our issue. 10/10 would recommend Milestone to anyone!

Had an issue arise at dawn so we called Milestone right away and got an appoinment for the same day in the morning. We had a smooth and positive experience from scheduling to servicing. Johnathan quickly solved a dead outlet problem which had bothered us for years. He knew where to look, determined that a circuit breaker was incompletely labelled and fixed the problem.

A normal seasonal check-up of the furnace. All went well and was part of routine service for member customer. We received a detailed status report.

James was great and extremely professional. Milestone company is professional, let me know when James was going to arrive. I love James friendliness and prompt timeline. He had a big smile on his face ready to work at 8 am. He introduced himself and informed me what him primary job was to handle my AC needs. He also asked me if I had any areas of concern. I had a clogged drainage pipe that I could see out the window and James promptly took care of that issue and I can physically see that he did it so it is working properly. He cleaned the units and followed up with me when he completed his work. James is a wonderful addition to milestone. 5-stars ⭐️

Bronson arrived in a timely manner and was as professional a service technician as I have ever had the pleasure to work with. He solved the initial problem with the compressor unit in under five minutes. Although the problem was a major issue, the fix was very simple, but he didnt stop here. He also checked the inside portion of the system and discovered and corrected a second problem that was not obvious and would have adversely affected the over performance of the system. Bronsonn was not only knowledgeable, but congenial and very pleasant. He very patiently answered all my questions and made sure I understood and was comfortable with everything that he did. I will definitely request him as my service technician if I need help in the future. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Alex Faulconer from Milestone performed my HVAC inspection today and not only was he very professional and efficient, he was also very proficient in explaining what he was doing. Being able to see the video of the area that he inspected while he pointed out the areas of concern was very helpful. His manner was friendly and patient which made this an A+ visit.

My technician, James McCreary, was prompt, efficient, professional, and extremely courteous. He did an amazing job looking over my system.

Called an asked for a quote on a heatpump water heater install. $99 cost for someone to come out and inspect. There is really not any difference in a water heater install. Sure some could be in strange places but someone couild easily send a photo of the and a quote can be offerend. Dont care about the $99 cost but not when they are not willing to provide an general esitmate.

Tyler arrived on time and performed the seasonal maintenance check on our HVAC system, inside and out, as scheduled. The neat thing was, when he was done, he surprised us by vacuuming the carpet in the hall, with his own little vacuum, to remove the little bits of insulation that had fallen from the attic, when we opened the attic door. We were impressed because previous technicians had never done that, when performing these checks in the past, and some insulation notoriously falls when we open that door. We thanked him, and he said he was just cleaning up after himself! We appreciated that he noticed and made that extra effort! Meant a lot to us! ❤️

Fantastic experience with Milestone and my technician Blair Huffman. I called around 9:30am this morning with water leaking - drain pan was filling with water and was rusted with a hole. Blair was out at my house by 11am, diagnosed problems in drain pipe installation from Baker Bros that I had done last year, came up with a solution, left to get the correct replacement drain pan, and I’m back with my AC working and no leaks in time for the 100+ degree temps this afternoon. Highly recommend Milestone, and ask for Blair if you can!

While the issue was not resolved, I have nothing but praise on the professionalism displayed. I was provided different options and walked through the steps needed to rectify an issue with old pipes.

Cody came to assess our project this morning and he was great! Thorough, professional and friendly and laid out exactly what would need to be done for our project to be completed. Unfortunately, the cost far exceeded what we had budgeted for the job so we won’t be able to get it completed. However, that is, by no means, attributed to Cody and his service. We just weren’t prepared based on our research for the price that was suggested. We love being Milestone members, though, and we are always willing to pay the premium for the quality work they do and look forward to using them for future essential projects. We’ve used them for water line and a/c system cleaning and modifications. This one was just too high to justify this time around especially considering that it was a convenience based project and not an essential add-on.

Bradley Browning from Milestone came this week for my semi-annual AC check-up (checking the AC at this time). Bradley presented himself well, was very informative, and friendly. He also gave me the right dimensions for my filter replacement when I go to buy one. Taylor provided a video of how things were looking with the AC. All AOK! He also cleaned the outside unit. On 03/14/24 I had to replace my hot water heater along with some other problems. The technicians came out on the same day and replaced my hot water heater and corrected the issue with my shower. Billy from Milestone did an awesome job walking us through the issue with our HVAC drain pan and pricing on the replacement. When it was discovered that the unit didn’t leave a lot of clearance to install properly he worked with us in trying to find and schedule for another tech who could fit the small space to make the install. He apologized for the inconvenience, which it wasn’t his fault. Billy is very knowledgeable and helpful. I have full trust that he would have expertly replaced the part we needed if the clearance around our unit allowed for it. In the end, my husband and I asked for his business card so that we can ask for him next time we have an HVAC need.

Got a quote to add 50amp in for a spa. The two gentleman that came were like car salesman. Looking over everything saying it was about done and needed to be replaced. At the end of it received a quote for about 15k. I was in shock. I had 4 other certified licensed Electrician company’s out for a quote and not one agreed with Milestones quote or information about old and failing equipment. In the end got the job done for Thousands cheaper and kept equipment that was still in great shape. In the end Milestone felt like a hustler trying to take advantage of a Veteran.
