Cornerstone Chem-Dry: A Carpet Cleaning CatastropheIf there were a lower rating than one star, Id give it to Cornerstone Chem-Dry. Their service was a complete and utter nightmare. I entrusted them with my rug in May 2024, expecting a professional cleaning. Instead, I was subjected to a 4 ½-month long ordeal of incompetence and frustration. After multiple failed delivery attempts due to rug still being stained and having new pink stains and countless delays, I finally received my rug back on October 15, 2024. Unfortunately, the rugs original off-white color had been replaced with an unsightly yellow tint.Cornerstone Chem-Drys customer service was appalling. Their excuses were flimsy, and their work was shoddy. Despite paying $403.77 before getting the rug back, I am left with a yellowish fur type rug. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere. Dont be fooled, this company is a scam. Their customer service is terrible, and their cleaning results are even worse. While I agree that there were two specific stains—a soda stain and a pet stain—I want to emphasize that the overall discoloration of the rug seems excessive, especially considering the nature and location of these stains.While I understand that pet stains can be challenging to remove completely, the significant color change across the entire rug, especially in areas that werent directly stained, raises questions about the cleaning process. Additionally, the nearly 4.5-month turnaround time for the rug is unacceptable. I believe that a more thorough and careful cleaning approach, coupled with a more efficient turnaround time, could have resulted in a much better outcome. I hope youll consider this feedback as an opportunity for improvement in future services.

I contacted Chem Dry for a pretty quick turnaround on cleaning 3 bedrooms and they got it done within 48hrs of contacting them. The tech was very professional and the carpets looked great when he was done. Thanks for great service and great cleaning. I will use Chem Dry again in the future.

Jordan that came out was amazing. My carpets were a mess. He brought them back to life like new. Our high traffic areas were really bad but he got it clean and looking great. Will be call them again.

Scheduling was easy. The technician Trenton arrived on time. He was very nice and respectful. My carpet in the primary bedroom was really dirty and it’s still wet but it looks clean. I would definitely use ChemDry services in the future.

I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company. I had 2 sofas (3-seater and a 2-seater) cleaned for years of food stains and some cat urine stains and after 2 rounds of cleaning, the yellow stains and terrible smells were absolutely ALL GONE. JORDAN was an OUTSTANDING technician and very easy-going and hard working. He explained EVERYTHING to me in full detail before starting any service and I was able to ask any questions before signing any forms. He worked with my schedule for Saturday AM appointments. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS OUTSTANDING COMPANY!!!

Will start out by sayingThe owner of this company was actually a pretty decent guyHis staff on the other hand lacks follow upAnswer to your questions and most importantly they make broken promises on a regular basis .I was actually a professionally carpet cleaner for several years growing up and watched this operation just try to go thru the hiring process was like pulling teethI had to seek out the company to get interviewedI placed an interest on their technicians position on indeed andThey reached out .Once they reached outThey took almost a week to call me in for a drive alongThen about another 4 days to do nothing more then not hire me .They never mentioned smoking cigarettes at work .Any company who does not want you to smoke at work announced it on the hiring interviewA guy who was quiting on them did the drive along with meI was asked just to observeI helped him all day because I wanted to help I am worker not a sitter .Then at the final we are going a different directionI had to call her even though she said she would reach out to me .At the phone call I got told the guy who was driving the truck on the drive along said I was on my phone .Well he is drivingHe should not have his focus off the road at all .I drove for Uber for 2.5 years and that was a no noYou do not talk to the ridersBecause you can not respond properly when drivingSo what did he need to be talking about with me .They used my attitude as an excuseOne I had to pursue them in every aspectI showed up at 655 for the drive along the driver had an 8 am redoHe did not even leave till 830I was at my interview early so I can be prepared to complete application and still be ready for the ownerI had to follow up with Barbara because she did not follow up with me at all till I made it known I was gonna bother her for a job .The owner should post he does not want cigarette smokers on his route as technicians and they would not applyHeck I would have left my cigarettes at home if it was an issue .By the way the technician who drove me around smoked on his vaporizer the whole daySo I guy since Babara made it clear it was not a cigaretteOh Barbara it called an electronic cigarette for a reasonEither wayI feel mishandled by this company and It was a very unprofessional experience .But the owner was nice and polite .Thats why he got the three starsOne was taken off for barbara and her inability to follow up with her hiring process and the other was for the guy who is quiting that you used his opinion of me as a basis .You guys need to straighten up your service to the publicYou think how you treat any one does not reflect your reputationWell I differ to agree.I review any one like you in every circumstanceAnd this was a very poor hiring process where you used peoples opinion who are quiting by the way .What does his value bring if he is quiting on you .Most importantlyBarbara does not even recognize her behavior as inappropriateShe only called me back because I was aggressive enough to keep following upThey would have let it stretch 3 weeksBad services randy start with how you treat potential employees .Good luck

Grayson showed up within the agreed upon time frame. Very personable young man. I was shocked at how great my old, worn out, stained carpet looked after he finished cleaning the carpet and doing pet stain treatment. It didnt take very long either, about an hour for 2 room minimum and spot treatment in another room. I highly recommend Cornerstone Chem-Dry for the job!

This is the second time I used this company to clean a custom carpet runner for me. The first time, I was very happy. This time has been nothing but a nightmare.I had it picked up just after Thanksgiving and was promised by the manager, Barbara that I would have it back by Christmas. I did not receive it before Christmas.It was delivered after Christmas and the tech who delivered it saw that it was broken in several places, he took pictures and called his boss who told him to bring it back and they would repair at no charge to me. He said I should have it back the following week. I did not have it back the following week and it was scheduled to be delivered the following week.The tech who delivered it also noted the rug was broken in several places and again took it back. Weeks again went by and Barbara called and said she has another tech look at it who said there is nothing wrong with it and it just needed to be raked and vacuumed a couple of times.Several days and several vacuuming episodes later, I emailed the owner and told him what I am writing here. He did not respond! I again emailed him this last Monday with the pictures attached here requesting that he please get back to me to try to make this right. He has still not responded to either email.They charged me $269 to ruin my carpet and refuse to fix it which they are capable of doing.I will never use this company again!!!

Car had rain water soaked carpet from window left down.Called the company on Sunday and was promptly greeted and appointment set for Monday am.Andrew was my tech and he was a life saver.He diagnosed the damage and a plan to extract the water logged carpet.He used their powerful machine with a clear suction head that showed massive water being extracted!It worked so efficiently that it was barely damp upon completion.He recommended we use a fan to air dry the carpet to fully dry and inhibit mold.This family owned business is performance driven and I highly recommend their operation.Walter

Grey was a delight: knowledgeable, courteous, helpful, and patient! He asked good questions to understand what I was trying to accomplish with the visit and specifically treated the areas that were problems. He was very thorough and explaining what products they were using, what to expect from them, and how they work.The application process of pre-treat spray was well worth the money, it was a strong smell, but when they finished with the carpet cleaning, there was nothing left but a nice neutral smell.They also do carpet replacement and repair which I will be using later down the road when it comes time to replace these, but they just bought me another couple of years for my carpets! I was concerned about the Cornerstone cleaning process for large area rugs, and the customer service rep clearly explained how they clean. The pickup and delivery crew were efficient and polite. Randy just finished cleaning our sofa and loveseat, which cant be cleaned with water, and Im in shock at how good they look! They are both white, and had stains from pets and from where I had tried to clean them myself. He got everything out and they look almost as good as new!!! Also, communication with Randy was excellent, he was on time, and was also very friendly and knowledgeable. I wont hesitate to use them again in the future!

The whole process was super fast and easy. I got a next day appointment, the tech gave me a courtesy call about 45 mins before arrival and showed up on time. He did a great job and I really like the deodorizer they use, it smells great! Update: 2nd time using them and the experience and results were even better than last time.

Thank you!This was the worst carpet cleaning Ive ever had. Not one stain came up. It actually doesnt look like they even cleaned the carpet. It was wet afterwards so Im guessing they did. Of course he did try to upcharge me when he got here saying he could pretreat the spots for this much extra. I didnt do that, as shouldnt this be a part of carpet cleaning already? But I would assume not much effort was made as afterwards I saw debris in my daughters carpet that wasnt even vacuumed up. The last company I used really did an excellent job so I need to figure out who came last time. Safe yourself some money and try another place. Again, I didnt expect everything to come up, but NOT ONE STAIN. When you find stuff in the carpet then you know they didnt even vacuum well. Just not much effort was made.Also, it should be mentioned upon booking that they are not going to pretreat stains. Ive had my carpets many times through the years and not one company charged more for treating spots. This should be disclosed at booking that they charge more for any spots. Learn from my bad.

We didn’t like the job done by this company.Price is much more expensive than others and quality of their job is the worst, they just came to do a rushed work without seeing differences on our carpet. And when I asked to go over the stain again, he wanted to charge additional service fee on dry spots that were not touched.I totally recommend to look for any other company to clean your rugs and air vents.Anyone else will for sure be better more economical the Cornerstone Chem-Dry

I did an online request for a quote and was contacted the following day to schedule an appointment. Zachary came out for my carpet cleaning. He was on time and very professional. He contacted me 15 mins before arrival which was very helpful. I thought there was no hope for the carpet in my sons bedroom but I was so wrong. It looks brand new. I am so so pleased. We needed a carpet cleaning company with a pet odor removal, and ChemDry is that company. Before cleaning, Zach and Andrew spent time locating any areas with stains using an infrared type light. Then, what you want treated (ALL of it!), is up to you. Thats because their odor/ stain removal is above and beyond the regular carpet cleaning. I already knew that, and its why I chose this company. Like anything right now, its a bit pricey. However, this company has a good reputation, and I prefer to have clean carpets to lay down on to play games or watch movies with my family. Zach and Andrew were friendly and focused on doing a thorough job. I would recommend Chem-Dry, especially if youre needing the odor/ stain removal. My house looks and smells much better!

We sent a newish wool rug to be cleaned.and it was with their cleaners 5 weeks. I kept calling and was told they were”working “ on it. Finally i insisted they return it.It came back with several large areas discolored….I was told we must have a pet ?No… we do not.The areas of concern were not there when they rolled up the rug and took it -I spoke to the owner and ask for them to replace my rug.Nope…I am very sadly disappointed with this company. Y’all, I did not think it was anywhere near possible for them to get my mattress clean again. A twenty something with the mind of a 12-year-old had been sleeping on it and it was gross. But, look! It looks brand new! And for an exceptionally reasonable price, even though they had to drive out to the middle of nowhere to deliver it. I cannot recommend Cornerstone Chem-Dry enough!!!

Trent did an awesome job! He even moved furniture! My apartment smells so nice! The previous family had pets and that smell was making my kids sick with really bad allergies. I had a sick cat for several days. She vomited and urinated in several places before and during her recovery. I attempted to clean and remove the smell/stains myself and somehow managed to make it worse. I booked Chem-dry. They PURT two areas and cleaned all the carpets upstairs. It was a complete turn around -- I cant smell a thing. Everything looks great. They were professional and did a great job as a whole. Well worth the money. I would definitely use them again.

Hired Cornerstone Chem-Dry to clean the sofa and love seat. Jason arrived on time and was courteous and professional. Work was a good value and completed within one hour.

First time customer. Had 8:00-8:30 window. Technician called at 8:56 and arrived at 10:00. Finished at 11:00. We had 3 bedrooms, hall and stairs. They did not vacuum before the cleaning. Luckily we did the night before even though the email said we didn’t need to. Stairs were cleaned but not risers between stairs.First time we’ve had the carpet cleaned in a number of years so maybe this the norm?

Scotty was fantastic! We have a 6 month old baby and wanted to make sure we used a company that used all natural cleaning products that aren’t overly harsh. He has not been with the company long but is a massive asset! He walked me through the entire process and showed me the stains with a uv light and treated them, we talked about our multiple dogs and he even helped with additional vacuuming needed. I have recently moved into a new house I had the carpet cleaned by another service two times, the carpets still lookeds bad and smelled awful.I have used Chem-Dry in the past so I thought i would give them a shot. The price was very reasonable no three room for $99.00 con job. The tech arrived on time masked and practiced safe distancing. He spent a little over an hour cleaning our carpet. They were so dirty he thought I had not cleaned them for several years. Today 24 hours after the service my house still smells fresh...carpets are dry and look GREAT! I will be using them from now on!UPDATE-I have used this company for over A year first two times they did a wonderful job. I have family members with pet allergies who come to visit and have no issues after the carpet is cleaned.However I have tried, and failed over the last six months to get my carpet cleaned. FIVE times in a row they have canceled me at the last min leaving me no alternative for getting carpet cleaned.I can only assume that my small house of 2200 sq feet is to small for them to clean.So save the frustration, disappointment , and embarrassment find another company to clean your carpet!

I have used Cornerstone Chem Dry for at least 5 years and am always happy with their products and service. Jordan came last week and did a great job cleaning the carpets. He was friendly, thorough, and I was comfortable having him in my home. You will love having dry carpet by nighttime. No waiting around for days for the carpet to dry. Ask for a can of their spot remover--it works wonders on the little spills in between visits.

Tile cleaning and sealing in the kitchen, den, hallways and bathroom.Zach was our technician and he was very nice and polite. He did a good job cleaning the tiles and sealing the grout. We are very pleased and we will ask for him next time we call for a service.

Jake, our technician, was young, energetic, courteous and very, very thorough. Cannot recall a more successful cleaning experience. Did carpets in four rooms, plus three heavy, upholstered pieces. He managed to get all traces of our wonderful, but hairy dog out of all locations! Would definitely call them again!

We had a couple of area rugs cleaned and we had the great opportunity to work with Emily and Cory. From pick up at the beginning to drop off at the end, their customer care and quality of overall service was excellent! And the rugs came back immaculate! This service was worth the price, 3 rooms for $99 was their special at the time. I wished we had pre-treated like the service guy recommended. At this time we were just looking for quick cleaning, nothing to deep due to we will be replacing the carpet in a couple months. The service guy called me to let me know when he was coming and it was earlier than the time quoted which was a bonus. Service guy was awesome, friendly, and professional and yes I would recommend this company.

We have used Cornerstone Chem-Dry for years, for all of the carpet cleaning needed for our rental homes in the Dallas area. They do a wonderful job and we would highly recommend them. We recently moved to Florida but still use them to clean the carpet in our properties. We sent them out to a home last week and they were honest enough to tell us that the carpet was too damaged to clean, and needed to be replaced. I was surprised with our experience, since there were positive reviews.We used Chem Dry in Carrollton on a house we had moved out of to get it ready for the new buyers. The only remaining items in the house were cleaning supplies and a vacuum cleaner so we allowed cornerstone access without us being there. We could not find the vacuum after the cornerstone tech was there.Just wanted to post an update:I spoke with office staff, sherry. She let me know the tech was no longer with chem dry, but had no evidence that he removed the vacuum. She did say that they would replace it and would send me a check. I didn’t receive a check so called back, she again said the check should have been sent and would check with finance. I called back 3 times, but she was not available and did not return my calls.I then received a call from the owner and he Said he was unaware that sherry said she had gotten his approval to send the check, but that he would take care of it because he valued his customer relationships.This has gone on for months. I am surprised after getting a recommendation to use cornerstone and the online reviews. Im done working with them but would caution as I it integrity with the way they have handled this situation.

Good service! It was my first time using the ChemDry carpet cleaning I usually get the stem water cleaning and the carpet stays wet for at least 1-2 days. This was amazing they pretreated the carpet and took out all the stains (food, milk, makeup, grease from workout machine). The guys were honest and professional. I had doubts since my carpets really needed a deep clean and I never tried this type of carpet cleaning... it’s was worth it your carpets look fresh, clean and are not saturated with water!!

We have been using Chem Dry for our carpet cleaning for many, many years...first in Southern CA and then in North Dallas. Very satisfied with this carpet cleaning service. The carpets are deep cleaned and they are never left wet. They are damp after the process but dry quickly and look beautiful afterwards. I called and scheduled my appointment for Friday, with an arrival time between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM. I called the company at 8:28 AM, and they let me know that my carpet cleaner was going to be late. He arrived 20 minutes late, so I showed him all my areas of concern and left for work. I figured he would do a good job, so I went ahead and tipped the guy $50 cash. I came home from work to dirty carpets. Not a single stain had been removed, so I called the company. The Supervisor I spoke with scheduled someone to come out the next day and clean my carpets again. She told me that she would contact me on Monday about a partial credit because he was late and did such a horrible cleaning job, but she never called me back. I called again on Wednesday and spoke to a different Supervisor who told me she was going to email the owners about what happened, and call me Thursday morning at 9:00 AM, but I never received that phone call either. The communication and customer service is severely lacking at this establishment. The only positive thing I can say, is that the second guy they sent out, did a good job.

My Wife researched the reviews of this company and thought they would be good. She was pregnant and wanted a deep clean for the carpets before the new baby was here. She was told that the technician would move small furniture around over the phone.When the day arrived she got the basic package but the technician, Trent, solder her on a $100 upgrade for stains. He said the upgrade would get all the stains she showed him out of the carpet. All seems ok at this point but then it come to preforming.Trent started out by not moving any of the small side tables or chairs out of the way. My pregnant Wife had to move them and call him back to clean the carpets. He did squirt something on the stains and did something once on each of them. My Wife pointed out the stains were still there and Trent said he would come back after he is finished. After the tech finished he picked up his gear and told her he had to leave immediately to make his next appointment. He did not go over the stains again and none of them were removed. I dont know if he did anything because I was able to get a few of them up with some Incredible, carpet cleaning solution.I would say the cleaning was ok. The scent was not bad and it was dry when I got home. The up sale and the tech not move small furniture are the minus one star. Trent did not even pretend to work on the stains or give a dam after the sell. Service on 12/6/17

I will literally never use this company again, and I will deter anyone I know from using them.First, I take off work so that I can be at home for their four hour window just to pick up a rug. The driver never shows, and I get a call at the end of the four hour window asking if he has shown up. Do you not keep track of your drivers?The pickup had to be rescheduled for the next day, so my fiancé has to stay home (again, for a three hour window just to pick up a rug) on a Saturday waiting for your driver. The driver shows up and quotes us $220?!?!?!!! This is a $50 6x8 rug. The quote was given to my fiancé. Why was I not called?! I should have been called to clear a price sign off since I have been the main contact for everything, thus far.I, immediately, call the driver and request that he return the rug. He tries to tell me hes too far away now, which is a complete lie because I have a Ring Doorbell camera. Therefore, I know exactly when he left my home and when I called him. No one can get that far in that short amount of time.When I call the office because the driver is completely unhelpful, I’m told that they can’t return the rug for another four days or I can pick it up myself. Also, I’m told that I will have to pay the $45 delivery fee. A $45 delivery fee for absolutely terrible service and no work done? I explained that this was absolutely unacceptable and that I was completely dissatisfied with my service I’ve received through this entire process (aka, picking up a rug - wow). Her answer to me? “That was me that you were dealing with...” Wow!I’m now waiting for the supervisor to call me about the $45 fee. When I asked if it was going to be today? Her response was that she didn’t know. Great.

The service was prompt and efficient. We allowed the love seat to dry overnight and surprised how bright and clean it looked in the morning. Only suggestion: the hardwood floor was saturated during cleaning. It was mopped up after but a tarp on the floor would have been helpful.

How do you deep clean a sealed counter top?Cornerstone is making NO EFFORT to correct this problem they created for me. BEWARE! These people have NO INTEGRITY!!!

Was very disappointed with the cleaning of my favorite oriental rug. The company did not contact me to let me know whether the cleaning was completed. It took 3 calls on my part and 2.5 mos later before the rug was returned. The rug had spot stains, and the fringes on the two ends of the rug were stained and clumped in many places.

Great customer service...my technicians were there on-time and even gave me a call when they were 30 minutes away so I could prepare. My couch looks and smells brand new, and the carpet looks great too!

The technician was on time and very willing to try but1) his machinery didn’t work (not his fault)2) he couldn’t fix it (I don’t fault him)3) cornerstone couldn’t send anyone else out for 5 days4) left my carpets wet5) treated for pet stains but a day later the stains are still there and still smell (worse now)6) wanted to charge me (but in the end I convinced them that was ludicrous)
