Just the worst company to work with.I originally called because I smell something bad coming out from vents upstair. I also requested for air re-balance because some rooms are too cold during Winter. We were still covered by the warranty.None of them were fixed!! It didnt take couple minutes to answer problems I had. The guy didnt bother to check anything. Terrible company already.For air balance, they are gonna check with their way. They will always be right because its always honna be near the vent to check the temperature.They will fix it only if you pay additional fees. No point of having warranty with them.I asked for it smells bad. A guy came and said its normal without looking at the system. Just recommend cleaning with additional fees. They wont fix any. They wont admit what they did wrong.
Please dont use for emergencies. They came out once to diagnose told me I needed a replacement compressor and then never updated me on when that would be. After calling them 4 times and they said they would have someone reach out to me. So I had no a/c and no communication on when it would be fixed, which was all I was really asking for the day after the came out. This also on a system they installed 2 years prior. People that come out are great. The management is most likely the problem. They either need more people to help or better systems so no one is left without a/c.
Do not use this company. I had no choice as my builder used them. I have had so many issues with my units at this point Ive lost count. They put the units in around june 2022 with the vent and intake switched around so had to come out and replace the whole plumbing in the attic. After about 5 calls to get them to come out they finally came out and fixed that problem. Apparently I wasnt the only one in my neighborhood to have this issue. Ive had about 5 other issues with my units and every time they come out they claims theyve fixed it. Ive called them probably 30+ times for all of these issue and usually the person on the phone is no help and has to call me back to which I never receive a call back. The latest was an issue in one of my rooms not receiving enough air. Multiple techs came out to look at it and no one could identify the issue. They manager came out and noticed there was a hug gaping whole in my ducting... Ive been essentially heating and cooling my attic for 2 years. They came out to fix it and used a whole 2 tubs of mastic to fix it... I told them thats unacceptable and they need to fix it properly. They came out and fixed it, but screwed up the box so bad the doors cant go back on. Now Ive called about 5 times to get a new unit and every time I call they have to get approval and promise to call me back. Ive never got a call back from this company, I have to call them. Ill be submitting a a BBB review next and wherever else I can find to warn people about this company and their very poor work and customer experience.
The AC systems in my house were installed by K&S air conditioning which eventually merged with or became Lex Air. K&S was great for the first few years. Once they became Lex Air thing truly went downhill.First they changed to where if you wanted maintenance and priority you had to get their yearly subscription. It used to be you would pay a single fee and they would come twice, now they bill monthly. About the same cost but you cant cancel it. They keep billing until the end of the year, no matter how bad their service.Then when they did come, which took over a month even with their subscription, they try to up-sell and up-sell unnecessary services until you say no. A tech came for a regular inspection, said I had a small gas leak, quoted almost $600 to fix that. When I said yes to that, he quoted $1500 for a second service replacing heater sensors, and when it looked like I was going to say yes to that service, he quoted $7000 for third service.I had another reputable service come take a look and it turned out none of those services needed to be done. I was able to fix the gas leak myself by putting on plumbers tape and dope refitting the pipe. A very simple job and I am not mechanical. This should have been handled in the yearly maintenance not as an extra service. The other needed services werent needed at all. Their sales pitch for only the services you need is untrustworthy and borders on fraudulent.When I decided to cancel my subscription, they continued to call to try to setup the next appointment. Their office tried to call or contact me at least 8 times, bordering on harassment. When they finally stopped calling, then the emails started.K&S used to be good. Lex Air is not a trustworthy company. I would use anyone else.
On June 30th 2023, I submitted a warranty request as I had my home inspected. The unit was discovered to not be working and putting out as much output as it should. Altura Builders sent someone from K&S to look at it and he said it was fine. December 2023 and January 2024 my electric bills were $393 and $647 respectively. I flew home to Virginia on New years eve as my father had a stroke and eventually succumbed due to the illness and returned to Dallas Jan 26th 2024. I was only home 4 days of my electric bill cycle and the bill was $647. I had TVEC check my meter to make sure this wasnt an error as the only thing running was my HVAC system since the home was vacant. I discovered on 2/16 from Technician Charles that two switches powering the heating element were turned off and caused the unit to continuously run causing the much higher bill. My March bill was $411 as well. I have spent almost $1500 on electricity bills in three months due to someone not doing their job on the heels of losing my dad and having to pay for his memorial service. I have called 3-4 times a week with no call back and asked to speak to the owner to resolve the issue. They have not tried to reach out to me nor do i think they will help me so be careful when doing business with them. They will not stand behind their work. Today 4/8/2024, after 3 weeks of dodging my calls, the manager Andrew advised they would not be able to help with any of these high bills.
I was very impressed with Alexis. He was respectful of my home and myself. He explained everything he was doing so that I could understand. I feel he went above and beyond with the care and quality of work that he performed for me. I was able to sign up for your maintenance plan with him and he made it easy and quick. I will be requesting him if I have future needs and when I schedule maintenance. Thank you for hiring him!!
The company has merged with several other companies. Customers service has been lost in the process. Filters were invoiced, yet never changed. Service was great until the merger. The servicemen seemed to care about their customers and the work. Not sure what is going on but the quality of sevice has drastically declined. I have used K&S since moving into my new build 5 years ago and was very satisfied until the last year or so. The trust between me and the company was violated no one care.
Mike was my technician sent out to inspect our system. We are in a brand new house and this was the first time we needed to use our heater.It turns out that the first company that installed our system never hooked up our gas lines!They were still capped and there had been no attempt to install them correctly. Mike did so in a timely and efficient manner.He also took the time to thoroughly go over and explain what he did and he went over all of the info criteria that I needed to know regarding the device settings, and the preventative maintenance procedures. He also informed me of his company’s maintenance package for service and upkeep on my system which I am signing up for as well! I took his card and I feel really comfortable knowing that I’ve got a professional company and technician that will watch out for my best interests when any future issues arise!Thanks Mike!
I have been a customer with this company since 2018 when I purchased my brand new property . Since the beginning the service has been average but nothing to raise any major red flags however today was the breaking point. I had called last week to verify quotes I had received to repair a possible leak and never received a call back. So today I called and tried to figure out why I had not received a call back in an entire week. A customer service person picked up reviewed my account and she stated she would need to transfer me over. A guy comes on the line and states that the prices are correct in which I have no problem with. A company price is their price however almost $400 to find a possible leak and then additional $100 plus for freon. So basically at this point I am thinking over $500 dollars for an HR work if the worker is knowledgeable and efficient. The problem I had was the guy stating that they are a growing company and that they didnt care if I left or not. Additionally, the tone of his voice made you feel like your just another number and not a valued customer. During the call the guy who now IDs himself as a manager continuously cuts me off and displays horrible customer service. Also, my girlfriend walked in on the call and stated what is wrong with this guy. Based on the lack of customer service I of course asked to cancel my service in which he states he will need to review my account in the old system and call me back later. On my last call the customer service rep told me everything was going into a new system therefore at this moment I knew the manager was not only horrible with customer service but a liar as well. I told him I would wait on hold which resulted in about 8 minute wait in which I truly believed he hoped I hung up. At this point he gets back on the call and just continues to be rude inconsiderate and wouldnt allow me to speak. I asked to speak with his manager and of course he stated that nobody was there was above him. I asked to get transferred to the big boss voicemail whose name is supposedly named Anthony however he refused. Simply put if this person continue to work for this company it will cost them a whole lot of money. This guy doesnt understand that a conversation requires 2 people in which one speaks while the other listens was mind boggling. I have multiple properties in which I was about to let them handle all of my A/C work (easier to deal with one company than 3-4) on however this manager actions just caused them to lose that business.
I was referred by a neighbor and called Corey (owner) on a Wednesday morning and he had his rep at my house within a few hours. Mark sat down with me and drew everything out as well as educated me in depth about my options. He was super friendly and extremely knowledgeable! Mark had his crew here the next morning to replace my entire AC system! The install crew was amazing and super friendly too! I highly recommend them!!
Lex Air/ K&S installed a new evap coil and furnace in late 2022, both of which came with a 2-year labor warranty. I called to schedule Spring 2023 preventative maintenance, but they wanted to book me more than a month out, so I had another company perform routine maintenance, where my refrigerant was low last year and again last month, so they performed a leak test. Their electronic leak detector wasnt able to detect the leak, so they isolated the unit in three zones and pressurized with nitrogen, which determined there was a leak in the evap coil, installed by Lex/ K&S 18 months ago. Lex/ K&S came to verify the leak which they did; however, they are NOT HONORING THE LABOR WARRANTY as another company serviced my unit. I am disappointed that they are unwilling to stand behind their service, and highly encourage other homeowners to avoid using them. I sincerely hoped to be a Lex/ K&S customer for life, but they simply up-sell products and move on to the next customer.
K&as services the warranty on our home. Rupert was on time, courteous and professional. The theatre room in our new build was not cooling and he crawled into a very small space to find the sources of the issue. I asked him to several questions about the system and also requested a few things to check and he did not hesitate to answer me or check these items. He was VERY thorough and reported back all his finding. I appreciate the attentiveness and attention to details.
This company does not just have a few good, professional, knowledgeable , and caring staff. Each one of them are great at their jobs and make you feel their caring and appreciation. Field techs are personable, careful, cleanly and efficient. We have been totally happy with K and S and we actually look forward to touching base with them when they do our seasonal checkups. The techs are the same people each service and they build a trust with the customer. No turnover means a good company. The office personnel of the staff are super helpful and accommodating. Our service today was excellent and our tech cheerfully modified his schedule a couple hours after a home emergency delayed our being home. I would recommend K and S to everyone !
Alexis was very friendly and knowledgeable. Shared what was wrong with Furnace, how he knew it, and how he fixed it. Very accommodating with our questions/concerns and helped me address some other issues including setting up auto mode on the thermostat. Would recommend to anyone who needs their service.
Erik was prompt, helpful, and explained everything during the visit. He told us about solutions to problems that we could see in years to come (if they arise) and told us about the current promotions they were running to help with those costs. His knowledge and professionalism along with friendliness made our maintenance service call very enjoyable.Alexis taking my phone call and making my appointment was helpful and polite and accommodating to finding the best time to fit my schedule.

They didn’t show up for an appointment to fix my ac after they told me it needed some work. They never called me after I called the office to ask where they were. I spent the whole afternoon waiting on them.However, the next day I was contacted by a representative. They ask what they could do to make this good. They worked with me and ended up getting me the warranty on my parts and labor. I ended up being very pleased with them. Thank you KNS! I would now give them a five star review!
Me and my wife had them come out to do some maintenance for our AC. Let me tell you, he was very professional and showed up on time. We had a tech named Kurt. He did what he had to do, explained everything to me in detail, which I appreciated because I wanted to know what the problem was and what I could do differently. I definitely recommend this company. Even the customer service women in the office are nice and very helpful. Overall, great experience. Thank you so much to our tech Kurt! You did a great job.
Cant recommend highly enough. K&S installed the system on our house and Ive had them out twice for routine maintenance/follow-ups. Both times they were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Most recently, Mike came out to check on our system (it had been several months and I wanted to ensure everything was running at it was supposed to). He checked everything out, took readings, and gave me some tips on how to improve the efficiency of the system. He answered my questions and there was no high-pressure sales pitch. He wore a mask (and shoe covers) the entire time and I feel very comfortable with the precautions that he was taking. Great service and a great price!
Mike V. was very cordial and professional. He explained what he was going to do and did the job quickly. He also changed out a part that needed to be replaced that was under warranty. I felt he was very honest in what he told me. K&S has maintained my system for 6+ years and I really value their service.
Tech was pretty friendly. did through inspection on the unit and after 2 hours able to find out the root cause related to coil leakage. he notify the company to order the replacement. would have been nice to offer a portable AC while they order the part and complete the installment. some do offer. but overall friendly service experience from the Tech.
We have used K & S 3 times and we are always beyond pleased with our experiences. Every technician that walks through my door is friendly, respectful and knowledgeable. They always go above and beyond to give us the best quality service and labor. We used to use a different company and every time they came something was broken, something needed to be repaired and the labor was so high. K & S is different. They are very honest, they never overcharge and they have great prices. We are so glad we found them. We recommend them 110%!!

He assisted me in getting my service re-scheduled, and the Lex Air technician who came to our house was on-time, very professional, and provided great info regarding how our units are doing. John Hill with K&S/Lex air is amazing !! I couldnt sleep last night due to all the wind and finally got to sleep and the wife woke me up saying the house is freezing. The downstairs internal blower was not working. I called K&S and someone was out in 30 minutes. He also found the blower motor was bad. 1 hour later John was back replacing the motor. I had no idea it would get fixed today so very grateful I dont have to go thru my firewood today. Great Service as always !!
My long time AC guy retired and I was super scared to search out a new company to do my work. My kids are in town for a week and the very hour that they arrived on the first day here my bigger unit for our home in the area where they were to stay went south. Panicked I just thought ok here goes lots of money. I called K&S talked to a very professional, kind and courteous lady who said she would get someone over asap. 15 minutes later she sent me a messages telling me my technician, Vinnie was on the way! She maid sure I knew who was coming and how long he would be. 20 minutes. Vinnie shows up professionally dressed introduces himself and got at it. Skeptical at best was my attitude. Vinnie quickly diagnosed my problem and then found that I didn’t really have a problem. It was a 50 cent fuse that he said I could change myself. At first he thought it might be the motor then this and then that then finally he said I know exactly what it is and pointed it out to me. 89.00$ service call because he thought it was the right thing to do. The next day he called from home and checked up on my unit and our comfort. K&S didn’t make a hole lot of money on me this time but we have two big outside units and two large air handlers and as you can tell by my rant K&S is my new and very trusted Hvac company. They will also get every referral I can give them. If Vinnie is a representation of the kind of Co K&S is I can only imagine that the whole company is run that way and it’s a good way. I know my time for bigger expenses is headed my way and I also know that the # I reach for will be K&S’s. I highly recommend this company and am lucky to have gotten Vinnie as the first representative to be in my home. Give them a try, I don’t think you will be sorry. A once good company that now only wants to sell you endless repairs on the warranty service. Last they came out it was an endless list of repair items. On a hunch we had a different company come and were nor surprised thar we only needed lines tightened. Also saved money because we didnt need an ignitor. Awful business just upselling tickets to make money on unnecessary repairs
Kurt was my technician for today. He did a great job fixing my warranty items, some of those issues were lingering since the original installation 11 months ago. He was willing to listen to customer’s problems, grasp the key details and did an effective diagnosis and came up with what might have wrong during the original installation. In my case, he was able to correctly guess the cooling problem that my Hvac freons were not charged up, because there is snow on the ground during initial setup. This is in addition to the original installation messup of drain pan, primary drain etc which he fixed it permanently now. Overall, he went above and beyond my expectations.
Update 7-6: AC lasted 6 days before issues returned. I again could only get a hold of the answering service who wasnt rude but wasnt helpful. I did get a call from K&S the next morning (today) and was told a tech would be out today. I then received a text at 3:30pm saying the tech was on his way. After 1.5hrs I called K&S to get an ETA only to get the answering service who couldnt tell me if he was still on his way, someone else was on their way, or if anybody would come out today or tomorrow. He showed up about 30 minutes later and immediately apologized for taking so long (bad traffic).Im lowering my review because the answering service couldnt answer the simple question of my techs ETA. That is on K&S for not giving the answering service the tools they need to succeed.Update 6-27: Company reached out, apologized again, and offered a year of their Cool Club benefits which includes 2 maintenance visits. Clay was nice and obviously cared about rectifying the situation which goes a long way for me. He didnt mince words and said this was a miss, no excuses, it falls on them even if its a contractor doing shoddy work for them, and they are working on improving service. Everybody/company screws up but K&S responded well to theirs and thats more than you can say about most.Short version is the AC in my brand new house wasnt cooling in the Texas summer heat, called the after hours line and was treated rudely and my information was not passed on (even though she repeatedly said she would mark it as a top priority for the team the next day). Called again and got much better service and a tech came out and fix the issue quickly.So a bad install (by K&S I presume), horrible after hours call center, and then good service.Longer version:The system in my brand new house was low on coolant causing the AC to not be able to keep up with the Texas summer heat. It was 80° upstairs even though all the blinds were closed and fans on.I called the emergency line and got an after hours rep who Im guessing works for a different company that contracts with K&S. They were ultimately unhelpful and borderline rude but promised someone would call me back first thing the next morning. By 9:30am no one had called so I called them and got the normal call center who seem to be K&S employees.They had no record that I had called previous night, that I needed emergency services, and had no techs schedule to come to my house. The lady apologized several times and was very empathetic. She said there had been several complaints about the after hours call center recently. The tech who showed up repeated this sentiment.A technician came by around 11 (which is impressive because I wasnt even on the schedule that morning) and thoroughly explained everything he was going to check, what he thought the issues were, and how he was going to resolve them today. And then he did just that. He found several other small issues with the heating and fix them. He also spent a significant amount of time checking for leaks and giving the system a once-over. But ultimately my coolant needed to be recharged which he said is a very simple task. My house is now cooling as expected!Bottom line this falls on K&S. They need to find a better call center contractor and have better quality control on their installs so theres not even a need to call them.If they offered to pay some of my electrical bill that Im sure will be stupid high because I was running the AC 24/7 for days Ill give them another star.
Alexis and Edwin were very professional and thorough at changing my system from natural gas to LP. Got my heating up and running quickly. Took great care in keeping everything clean and tidy. Definitely will request them in the future.
Walter and Jose was very professional and understood their job very well. They educated me on many issues and concern regarding my A/C unit and how to keep it maintained.Andrew their manager was also very professional and took care of things in a timely fashion. He responded to and made phone calls to assure that I was satisfied. I actual referred the company to a few friends who need repairs and maintenance. Im very proud to say that K and S Heating and Air did an outstanding job. Way to go Walter, Jose, Andrew, and other personnel members who assisted me, you are all awesome!!!!!!!
Dan from K&S was dispatched to our home for a warranty issue related to our furnace. His level of service was excellent. He was very detailed in exploring our issue and he resolved the matter in one visit. The entire ordeal was resolved within hours from my first call to K&S and I am grateful!
K&S has provided great service. Alexis was our technician today, and he was both courteous and professional. I had a great experience and will be continuing to use K&S going forward.

As a new home owner in 2018, who was concerned about the Heating and A/C that was put in my new home, I called around and chose to have K&S come out to look over what I had and what condition it was in. They really went out of their way to take care of getting me everything that I needed to feel confident in the equipment I had and helped me insure what I had. They walked me through a lot. They have been coming back every Spring and Fall for health checks on my equipment. They do a wonderful job. The technicians that they send out are easy to get along with and answer all my questions. It makes a big difference, when you have someone friendly coming into your house. Thank you all at K&S.

Delgado Rupert has come a few times for warranty issues on our home. He has found (or already known upon arrival) root cause and resolved the issue each time. He is always friendly and communicates the issue and fix very well. The folks on the phone are always pleasant too.

I couldn’t be happier with the excellent service provided by Samuel. Not only was he able to diagnose and repair my AC unit in minutes, but he went the extra step to call his management office to see if any of the parts or service were under warranty from my builder. I didn’t think I had any warranty coverage given I’ve been in my home over 5 years. Because of Samuel’s dedication to customer service, he discovered my parts were under warranty, so I only had to pay for the service. Absolutely would recommend K & S. Ask for Samuel, he’s the best!
I really appreciate the technician Alexis, he went above and beyond to install the damper. He didn’t had the correct damper when he first arrived because he was told to bring the wrong size of damper (which is not his fault). But he went back to get the correct damper a few hours later to finish the job even though he has busy schedule. He has set a good example to the rest of the team and he is a true value to K&S.

Dan did an excellent job. He identified my problem immediately and was able to fix it in no time. He also updated me on my unit and told me about features I did not know it had. I had maintenance done to my unit not to long ago and Ive already heard good things about this company. But we had gentleman named Erik came out to my house, I was blown away by how much he knew. He let me know everything he was going to do and had awesome manners. I wouldnt want anyone else to service my house besides him. He was very respectful of my home and made sure I was satisfied before he left my house. I even offered him a tip and he refused and told me Im just doing my job highly recommend..
K & S installed 3 units in our home when it was built in 2014. We have the units serviced 2 times a year. Our technician, Andrew, is very professional, efficient, and knowledgeable! All the employees we have had contact with are very polite and quick to make things right. Great company to do business with!

We moved into a new home and the rooms were not balanced. Our kitchen was the warmest room in the house without turning on any appliances. The technician checked all room to see what adjustments were necessary. Also took time to explain the routine maintenance we need to do for our system. Best of all, the morning of our appointment, I called to find out if they would arrive at the beginning or end of the time they gave us. It was going to be in the middle. I explained we had to run an important errand and they said they would make ours his next stop. And they were very nice about it. That doesn’t happened much.
Delgado was amazing! Diagnosed the issue quickly and repaired it fast. We had cold air blowing within minutes and he even called back to ensure it was still cooling. Extremely knowledgeable and professional!!!
9/3 updateAfter the incident in July, K&S tried to fix the issue and honestly hands down. I am glad they are improving and taking care of their customers the way they deserve. Big thank you to Clay Adams, Mike and Andrew. I am changing my rating to 5Nothing is emergency to them. On weekends only one person does work and starts at 12pm. No one knows where he is and what he is doing. Customer service kept me waiting from 8am to 1:30pm until They told me elderly and kids are priority. So so rude so rude . No one asked me if I have elderly/ kids in my house. Like other people are not human being and heat doesn’t effect them. This company is the worst of the worstThis is my builder fault to chose such a cheap unprofessional company. I paid $$$ out of pocket while I am under warranty. This is ridiculous. If you can’t provide service to the warranty owners, DO NOT accept builders. There is always a reason you have so many 1 star
The service we received from Michael Jordan tonight was superb! He phoned 30 minutes before arrival and wore booties inside without even being asked. He explained details about my thermostat and I learned more tonight than the builder told me when I moved in. He also made recommends for maintenance and suggestions for keeping my system working at optimal efficiency! Can’t wait to have him complete our bi-annual service on our units. Kristen Jones came to my house today to replace the thermostat for me. He was very professional and nice. He performed the task very quickly and carefully, and still had time to ask if I wanted to have the thermostat installed with the plate for not. I would only ask for him the next time I call K & S. Highly recommended.
Our tech was super friendly and helpful. He was able to work to resolve our problem. He was able to explain the difference between the 1 inch and thicker filters. And I loved that he had filters on his truck so I could save myself another trip. I wish I could have this tech every single time!!!!
K&S installed our system on our new house. They have been responsive and on time the 2 times we had our Goodman system services and maintained. Alfredo came and had us up and running in no time flat. Very professional.

Chris was here to repair a loose duct, and was awesome enough to give us seeing recommendations as the weather changes on these new fans thermostats, as well as help us by balancing the system a little to prevent my kids room from freezing when other spots are warm. He did excellent work. Their service techs have always been amazing.
I recently closed on my house. Upon move in, my AC was not blowing cool air at all and we spent the entire weekend without air in this Texas heat. K&S sent out multiple technicians over a period of time for repair. I kept being informed by every technician the “issue” was repaired but it wasn’t. I am still going without cold air in a BRAND NEW HOUSE. Finally, the last technician came out and instantly said there was a leak. He found the leak within 5 minutes which is absolutely unacceptable from every other technician that was sent out prior. He ran multiple test and was able to repair the issue. Now to top it all off, I’m responsible for an almost $500 electricity bill due to the fact I was having to run my A/C on extremely low to attempt to cool my house. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable from a company of this caliber.
Great Company! They have been providing us A/C maintenance for 3 years now and we have ZERO complaints. They are always on time, courteous and very professional. Jason came out no more than 2 hours after I called in the middle of a Texas heat wave. He was so knowledgeable, showed me everything that was going on and why. Reggie was a terrific technician; fast, courteous and diagnosed the problem fast. The company charged me $450 for a capacitor that I found online for $39.00..... $39.00. That price did NOT include the service call! $450.00 for a $39.00 part. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
We have used K&S since we moved to Texas 7 years ago. Every year our technician comes to check our heater in the fall and our air conditioner in the spring. Every spring we have a maintenance appointment and the very low fee we pay includes our Fall appointment as well!! We request our favorite technician and he comes every time. It’s nice to know that he is aware of anything that needs to be taken care of each visit.Thank you, K&S!

This company is absolutely deplorable. I would give ZERO stars, if possible. The AC unit in my parents home went out and I have been calling for 3 days. Everytime, they state a technician will contact you shortly and no one contacts me. Its is over 100 degree weather daily. This home is a brand new build and right fully, shouldnt even have a broken unit already. The company took contracts on all these new homes and DOES NOT come to to fix the units they installed, when they break. I would tell anyone to never use their services as they will not service the units (under warranty or not) that they are contracted for. Texas Homes Development, your company needs to seriously consider ending your contract with this company.
Aug 25, 6 pm: Called K&S to report an a/c issue, I was told I would get a call and someone would come out to fix the issue before 9 pm same day. Waited around till 9 pm - no one showed up. Had to turn off ac and by this time temperature in my house is at 85 deg. Keep in mind I have two toddlers. We do everything we can to stay cool.Aug 26, 10 am: Got a call from K&S saying they were calling back to check on the issue. The lady I spoke to said she just got the message about my issue. I am upset by now and told her that I have been waiting since last night based on the information I was given. She said she could get someone to my house the next day - Aug 27. I said that was unacceptable especially because I was given wrong information. Additionally a K&S technician knocked on my door while I was dropping my kids off to school in the morning. I saw them pull out as I was driving up to my house. I tried to flag them down without any avail. I ended up talking to the Supervisor - Andrew who scheduled a technician to come out on Aug 27 in between 12 - 5Aug 27, 4:50 pm: No one showed up so I called back. After talking to three different ppl, the third person told me that there was no appointment on their books and that she could book me for the next day. I asked to talk to her manager and Andrew the Supervisor gets on the phone and looks like he made a mistake and didn’t get the appt in. By this time I am beyond livid and asked to speak to the owner. Also Andrew offered to have someone sent out in the next 30 mins.Andrew got David on the phone and here is the reason why I gave 5 stars - David acknowledged the mistake and showed that he cared. I really appreciate David’s professionalism. While I was talking to David, a technician knocked on my door.It shows that ownership here cares for their customers even when things go wrong. I totally understand that it is peak time and there is very high demand on a business such as this so things like this can happen. It is how it was eventually handled by David that will make me come back.Thanks David!
Hector was here for our AC tune-up and did an awesome job in checking all the components, washing the unit and didnt mind my asking questions and following him around as he worked. He was very patient and thorough in his evaluation of our system, gave us advice on how to keep our system worry-free. I did not feel pressured in any way to do anything that was not needed. The repairs that were needed were reasonable. Thank you, Hector and K & S!
I called K&S to schedule a service on my heater. The lady that answered the phone was really nice. The technician that came out to work on my system, Sabato, was super nice, patient and thorough. He took time to explain to me how the system works and how best to program the thermostat for the system to work efficiently. I was really happy with his work.
My heater went out starting 11-23-22. I have had a technician come out 3 times. (11/23, 11/28 and 12/1) still no heat. Apparently the first tech ordered the wrong part and as the home owner I’m being punished for it. I was told someone would call me on Friday, even waited 48 hours and no one called. I had to call them. I’ve been without heat for two weeks tomorrow and am being told that the part may be available on 12/9 from the manufacturer. SMH.
Don’t get the monthly subscription. “Cool club” its a subscription scam and the manager doesn’t care. There are better options out there that don’t need a subscription.
Mike did a great job. He was very thorough and professional. He walked me through each question and made sure I understood everything before moving on. He took me into the attic to explain some maintenance tips hands on, and even walked me through some steps to correct thermostat issues. He went above and beyond what he was called out for. If he represents this company, then I will continue to use them because of Mike.
Jose was pleasant & courteous. He listened well and worked carefully inside my home. Jose even went the extra mile to locate a vibration noise and fixed it for us. Great, friendly service from answering the phone, scheduling and excellent service.

Daniel is our preferred technician for almost 10 years now! He has serviced our units at multiple addresses over the years and is always on time, professional, and thorough. What I feel is most important , aside from his expertise in HVAC systems , is that I feel comfortable with him in our home. In a time where you don’t always have good peace of mind with service men in your home or working in the house with the kids home; it is important to feel safe with people in your home. I am a First Texas Home new home owner and work was done under the warranty. I have been in the home about six years, so I am in the Parts only warranty time frame so labor is extra. K&S scheduled a same day appointment and arrived within time window. My AC outside unit had stopped and the technician Andrew quickly determined the starter capacitor on the fan was bad. Additional testing found the Freon pressure was under spec and Freon was also added. Testing determined the A Coil was leaking (low Freon) and would need replacement in the future. Total bill was $323; included service call, Freon and capacitor replacement; Cost was Average to high for work (some companies waive the service call on warranty when bad parts are replaced). Since it is Sept, I decided to not replace A Coil at this time - added Freon should see me through the rest of the season. I did receive a quote for the A Coil replacement labor; $1400+ , (the coil cost is covered under warranty). Seems high just for labor (An A Coil was replaced on upstairs unit the first year we owned at no cost; one person less than half a day). K&S appear to be honest and Andrew was very skilled and knowledgeable. Pricing for work done today appears inline with industry standards.
Really bad experience with this company. Technician diagnosed a gas leak, and proposed two options, to refill the gas or do a leak detection and gas refill.Of course the leak detection would cost additional 250 dollars. Well, if the system is leaking this bad, it was fairly easy to detect the leak (now I know), without extensive leak search. First thing to check is the coil, by removing 3 screws, which obviously K&S technician did not do. He only refilled the gas. It leaked in just one day. I lost 750 dollars with this company. After calling another company, they opened the coil and we could HEAR and see the leak quite easily. The other company technician showed me the leak in 5 minutes, without any charge. K&S technician wanted to charge 250 dollars for the same job, was very secretive about the issues, and filled the system with gas that is now gone. I will replace the entire system with new HVAC, but with the other company. K&S lost my business for good. Just save your time and money and use someone else.
We had Mike come out today for our routine preventative maintenance appointment. He went above and beyond to take care of our needs, and took the time to explain our system and how to manage it more efficiently. He was positive, friendly, and polite. Thank you, Mike!
My unit was installed by K & S back in 2013, when I had my house built. It is still under warranty. This weekend, the unit for upstairs started tripping the breaker in my garage. I had an electrician look at it and he said that it was the air-conditioner compressor outside that was tripping the breaker. I called K & S and asked them to come look at replacing it. The window of time they gave me was from 12 to 5 PM, which I understand because it’s summer, but is super inconvenient for my work schedule.When the technician arrived, all he was interested in doing was selling me on the service package. He hosed off the unit, flipped the breaker, mansplained to me that it would help the unit not overheat, which would stop it from flipping the breaker any longer. He charged me $169, and then left. Needless to say, problem is still not fixed, my house is still crazy hot, this compressor is a still a fire hazard, and I have to miss another day of work hoping a supervisor is going to return my call. 2 hours after being told it would take an hour to get a callback, still nothing. EDIT: after 4 calls from me, many promises of someone coming and/or callbacks, another wasted day off of work. Breaker still flipping, no repair people and no callbacks. Nobody from K & S seems interested in keeping their commitments. NEWEST EDIT: On Friday (3 days into the K&S nightmare) I had the pleasure of spending another $244 with a different technician. After he left the breaker tripped again. I called back and was told someone would be back out. Around 7 pm, I received a call from Junior asking why I still had a ticket open. I explained that the repairs were incomplete & the compressor needed to be replaced. Tech came back out and after somehow getting in touch with my ex husband, who lives 5 hours away and hasn’t laid eyes on the compressor, the tech agreed that the compressor was out. Still waiting for the warranty department on what is now Wednesday (a full week since the original call) to order the replacement compressor. Best part? The unit itself is under warranty, but I get to pay another $1600 to have it installed. So, perhaps after spending $2K on this compressor that is under warranty I might have air? Who knows. Stay tuned...Very disappointed and hope other builders do not work with this company in the future.
Mike V was exceptional. He solved our problems within minutes. He cleaned up after himself even though I offered to. He wanted to make sure he got the insulation litter off of my carpet for the sake of my kids. And he got me an extra copy of the warranty information along with the directions to properly maintain our HVAC systems and he took the time to highlight key information. He then went over the highlighted information and showed me pictures, and I literally had HVAC 101. Please give this man a promotion and a raise!! He was beyond helpful and I’m so glad K & S Heating and Air are our providers. They are so trustworthy.

Very poor customer service. Extremely poor communication with customers. I have had an AC unit that is under warranty that needs to be fixed, that has been broken for 1.5 months in the heat of summer, and its still not fixed. Very little communication over 1.5 months from K&S, and only when I call them. I am always told they will have a Supervisor call me back with more detailed info or an updated, and they never call back. 4 calls by me in 2 days. No call back yesterday afternoon once again. Called twice today Friday at 9:30 AM & 3:30 PM, and was promised a call back twice. Still waiting at 5:30 going into another 90+ degree weekend. Ive tried to be polite with the people on the phone, but this is ridiculous.
Todays experience was very good. Kris Jones gave helpful tips that my husband and I needed to know about our AC unit to ensure it runs properly. I took notes so we dont forget! When we have an issue or need routine maintenance we will request Kris to come out to our home every time! Thanks Kris!
One of my A/C units stopped working and I called at 3:30 pm to schedule someone to come out. The office clearly explained what the price for a service call would be and they had same day availability between 4 and 8 pm. The tech arrived and quickly diagnosed the problem, showed me the bad part, had a replacement part with him and had my A/C up and running within 2 hours of my call!
First Texas Home owner. Everything was good until K&S didnt call me 30 minutes before they arrive as they promised. They went ahead working on my AC unit without my permission. I waited for more than 5 hours for the call and finally they arrived without any notification. Still paid the service. However, was not happy at all. K&S, please make sure that you talk to the owner before you work on their AC unit.
Our K&S spring appointment was great! Kris, our technician, thoroughly explained everything and told us how to reduce energy costs. He also adjusted some of the air vents after checking and cleaning the AC units outside. We now have a much better understanding of how the overall system functions. I would highly recommend K&S for HVAC maintenance.
Kris did our annual heating maintenance. He was very courteous and gave me great tips on how to set the thermostat to save energy. He also adjusted all the air vents in our home for a better airflow. Great service!
I called Lex Air in May 2022 because my main zone wasnt cooling real well, and was having trouble getting below 75 degrees. They agreed to send a technician out and perform diagnostics for $80-90 per hvac zone (I have two). Apparently they dispatch individual technicians from multiple collaborating HVAC companies. A technician from K&S showed up the same day.Overall the technician spent around 2 hours, maximum, at my house. He replaced the capacitor on the main zone compressor/condenser unit. He did ask for approval before replacing it, but didnt quote me the cost at the time. He stated that further work could not continue until the capacitor was replaced, which from a technical perspective is true. He then added 5 pounds of refrigerant to the main zone but told me hed only charge for 4 pounds, and stated he believed the evaporator coil on the main zone was probably leaking. He then went to the blower and evaporator coil unit inside and measured for a leak with a leak detection device which apparently measures for, and detects, very small amounts of refrigerant in the air (5ppm or whatever). He confirmed the evaporator coil was leaking and should be replaced.I told him Id think about it and for him to just perform routine maintenance on the 2nd zone, which he did.At the end of the visit, he presented an invoice to me which included the following:$80 diagnostic x 1 zones;$90 diagnostic x 1 zone;$120/lb for 410a refrigerant x 4 lbs;$289 for a 40+5 microfarad 440V capacitor.Total was $937.410a refrigerant can be bought online (if you have EPA cert, which anyone can take the test and get for like $20-100) for around $20-25 per pound, when buying a 25 pound tank. Even assuming $30/pound (because I didnt receive a bulk amount), the actual cost to him would have been $150 total (he gave me 5 pounds), but he charged $480.The 40+5 uF capacitor he installed (which was a good brand and made in USA) can be bought on amazon for around $30. If you go with a chinese made one you can get it for $10. Lets assume $40 was the cost for him, but he charged $289.So the cost in parts to him was ~$190 at most, he thus made $937-$190, or $747 for labor. For a 2 hour visit. Even if you include driving time of 30 min each way (which is generous given the location of K&S to my house), my man is making $250/hour.This industry needs to be regulated like auto mechanics, cause the price gouging on parts is RIDICULOUS. They need to post labor rates. They need to itemize and disclose part costs, etc. Cause these jokers are taking you to the bank by charging $289 for a $30 capacitor.Dont worry though. I bought 3 capacitors off amazon to be ready for the next time, and went with a different company to replace my evaporator coil, and will never use Lex Air of K&S for service again. So jokes on them, I think.
The K&S staff are very professional and very accommodating. The technician (Kristen) adjusted our system, and set our thermostat for maximum efficiency. He detected a part requiring replacement and replaced. Wonderful service.

K&S came out to install the fresh air intake for my home. They were quick and professional. They even answered other questions I had about my units, unrelated to the visit.
Thanks to technicians Steven and Alexis for doing a great job!!! They also explained in layman terms how to use my air conditioning control. Everyone did not grow up with the same technology as today. Sometimes we need a breakdown and they did that for me!!!!!

Original review 9/20/19: They sent out a subcontractor (did not say K&S on their shirts, had a different company name). The techs told me there were 3 problems: 1. Needed new thermostat, 2. Needed to replace an outdoor wire, 3. Needed to clean the coilThey quoted $450 as the price for the new thermostat (additional $209 for the rest of the work, which they claimed was a discount) which seemed ridiculous since I was finding them for $25 or less on Amazon. I asked for the cheapest possible one and they said it would still be over $300 for just the thermostat. I called my husband at work (he used to work in HVAC) and he said he would buy one and install it himself instead of paying the outrageous price.We went ahead and had them clean the coil and replace the outdoor wire. They left and the AC turned on and started working again. I called my husband to tell him we didn’t need to buy a new thermostat at all. When he got home he checked the coil and said it was still very dirty, and should have been spotless after the deep clean they claimed they did (he spoke to them on the phone before they left our house).In summary, they tried to sell us almost $500 of stuff we didn’t need, and didn’t even do well on the stuff we did hire them for. However, the AC is working now so I guess they deserve a star for that.Oh, and they never emailed me the receipt, so that’s awful too.UPDATE 4/14/2020: They must have read my review because they finally sent me an invoice. SEVEN MONTHS LATE. The email said I still owed money (even though I paid with a credit card when the workers were here and have the statement to prove it), but thankfully when I opened the PDF it was marked as paid. The AC is still working despite us never buying the new thermostat they insisted we needed.
I have ordered Filters 20x25x4 from K&S for last 6 years for my current house as they installed the unit when we built the house. Filter used to be delivered for free when their tech used to be in the area or i used to be able to pick it up without any cost. I always purchased the box. Today i called and they basically said they no more offer either option. I have to pay $90 for getting it delivered and no option to pickup. And it seemed like they don;t care to retain their customers.
Kris was very professional and knowledgeable about what I could do to get the best use out of the system. He checked over the HVAC and adjusted the vents in all the rooms. He explained how to use the airflow to maximize my comfort. I purchased the yearly maintenance plan and this was my 2nd visit. I will probably renew in the fall.
Kurt was awesome, very knowledgeable and explained the process/options and pros and cons... I recommend Kurt highly... with employees like Kurt is what makes K&S customer oriented... I also had conversations with Junior and he was a helpful manager at the company as well

He answered every one of my questions to my satisfaction. I am much more knowledgeable about my A/C unit because of his information.
I had an issue with one of my AC units not cooling correctly. I called on late Thursday & they were out to fix the unit on Friday. My Technician Nick was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions my wife & I had. Thank you, Nick for making a stressful situation a lot easier for us to deal with.

This is the second home K & S have worked on for us. I have found them to be knowledgeable and very helpful. When searching for experts in their field for home maintance, you never know what type of service and information you will get. K & S has never disappointed with their service or their knowledge and recommendations.
I am only giving this one star becuase zero is not a choice. My builder used this company to intall the HVAC units on our new build. I failed to have the HVAC company to come out prior to the end of my builder warranty period with the builder (due to COIVD, my fault I spaced it out). I called in for service recently and was given a four hour window on Tuesday July 7th from 2pm to 6pm. No one had contacted me at 537pm so I called the company to make sure they were coming as I had been without AC for four days to the Friday prior to the holiday weekend. They told me I was up next for service. The tech pulled up to the house at 615 but didnt come to the door until closer to 630. He was polite and diagnosed the problem within a couple of minutes. He went back out to his van for about 15-20 minutes. He came back inside and said that he replaced the capacitor. I asked him if he had checked the humidity in the bedrooms (per reason 2 of my call for service). He tinkered around with the thermostat for a few minutes and changed a setting. I am under the warranty through Carrier and in year 3 of 5. I was told at time of service there would be a charge of $94. I assumed that since I was under warranty this was the total cost. The tech charge me the $94 plus $189 for replacing the capacitor. I have had several of these go out over the years and typically pay $120-$160 total including service fee. I would have though less isnce the part was actually covered by the warranty. Also, they didnt have the correct size capacitor so they are going to have to come back and put in the correct size but did tell me at least I am up and running. Hopefully my house doesnt burn down in the meantime. At the very minimum I would have expected the $94 service fee to be credited toward the repair. Very disappointed in the time it took to schedule (I called for service on Sunday), that they did not come within a four hour window (I did not need to block my schedule for an appointment after 6 pm), that they over charged me (didnt credit service fee toward repair AND have inflated prices), and installed the incorrect part and finally I didnt even recieve a written invoice (pretty standard to domcument the condition of the unit, temp diffs, etc_). I called the company the following morning and asked to speak to a manager. I was told the manager was in the field and would return my call when he got back into the office. No call, no follow up and incorrect part is still installed.. If you want an AC company that wont come when they say, overcharge you for the wrong part and not care enough about their customers to even listen to their concern then this might be a company youd like to do.Follow up: Someone from this company posted a reply asking me to call their office. Instead of taking a minute to reach out to me directly (they have my contact info as I was a customer) they are just responding to the review instead of to their lack of customer service. I still have not even received a written receipt.business with.
I have been waiting for this company to actually show up to do there job for 3 days. 7 month old baby’s don’t like the heat. Literally it’s them coming out and replacing one part. But apparently there to busy to care about any of there consumers. My best guess is they pay for these fake reviews that hold absolutely no merit. Absolute joke and they should be ashamed. Also save the “I can’t seem to find you in our records” line like you have in all of your other negative reviews. You know exactly who I am.
I’ve used them for years hoping to develop a good relationship, but they’re work is temporary and just ok. I can’t overlook this last issue where they misdiagnosed my problem, charged me over $800 to fix it only to have my Air go out the very next day with the same problem. When i called them back they made it a point advise me of a trip charge if it wasn’t part of their previous work. No “I’m sorry” or “we’ll get it fixed for you”, it was “hey you’re gonna pay for the trip charge”. Like I sabotaged my own system?!?! They came out, got it started only to go out again the next day. So I called another company and they got it back working, simple wiring issue for $150. Ive lost faith in this company especially now that they’ve merged with LexAir. They don’t communicate and they throw each other “under the bus” blaming each other when conflicts can’t be logically explained. I’d like to think they thought me and my family were important but they only thought of their bottom line and refused any refunds for doing a job that didn’t need to be done. AT MY EXPENSE.

Absolutely the best in the business and went beyond expectations. As a US Veteran, it’s hard me to open my doors to vendors but these guys were awesome!!!Follow up constantly and didn’t try to sell me other products. After the service was done. They wlso told me it was under warranty, now that’s an A+Awesome guys!!

The one-star review is due to lack of communication, and follow through last week we called with an AC unit issue on two separate occasions. We spoke with whoever is answering the phones for you guys and were guaranteed to get a call back from a technician which never happened. I called back the following day again I was told data technician would give me a call to help me with my issues that didnt happen as well, I called a different company and they were out within minutes and got the issue taken care of , it was a bad contact. We have a new build with First Texas homes and you were the guys we were asked to call again we did and got no response
My husband called and set up an appointment for Saturday between 8-10am. We called at 10:15 and was told he might be running behind. We called around 11 am and was told that they were sending a message to the technician to give us a call for the second time. We called at 12pm and got the answering service. They also said they were sending a message to the technician. It is now 1:30 on and I have not gotten a response from the technician at all. My time is just as valuable as his.
Kurt and simeon came by and did an amazing job on my ac. Blows good as new now. They were very professional and knowledgeable with their work. Would highly recommend!
Jose is very knowledgable. I explained to him what’s going on and he already knew what happened. He used this tools to test further to confirm the cause and he was right. Replaced the part within 5 mins and my unit is working again. Thank you Jose and K&S for saving the day.
The company merge and doesn’t value its customers neither their employees.Bad work ethic. The way the company treats its employees makes me sick there are better companies in Dallas that have better morals and work.
Bitter sweet is what I can say about this company. It all depends on the technician. I bought my house bran new 3 years ago and have had issues with my upstairs air going out every summer. I paid $229 each year for the PMA (preventative maintenance) and each time the technician came out they supposedly never saw a leak and told me that my unit needed to be charged and added Freon and even charged me for extra Freon to mask the leak. Then I called a couple of weeks ago because my unit again was not cooling and it was time for my PMA and they sent out the heaven sent Mike Virgil. He was not lazy, he is an expert and he is the only one in three years that could fix my system. He found that my heater inducer motor had a piece of my roof in it and it was grinding, lopsided and working hard to heat the house, hence the large heating bills. He said I would not have heating this winter if he had not replaced it and was beside himself that no one had found it earlier. He also found the leak that was right at the system and that had been there for the past 3 years that no other tech was willing to even look for. Needless to say Mike Virgil is the only tech that I will allow at my home from K&S. I will be speaking to the Service Manager about the extra freon charges and why this was not all found before Mike came to fix it. I am happy to say that it is finally fixed, thanks to Mike V.
K&S Heating and Air did a fantastic job installing the HVAC system in my new home. I had some issues after moving in and K&S sent very professional, highly knowledgeable technicians out to take care of the problem. The lead service tech, Jr. Mijares, did an exceptional job of identifying and rectifying my problem. Service is above and beyond what could be expected and I am a very satisfied customer.

Doesnt call back. Called and talked with multiple people, all said would call back. Never did.Update: visited twice, did their maintenance package - not sure what was included in that...Called them to do a repair on my unit, they said they would call to schedule me for service, again - four days later - no return call. Glad I called someone else that came within twenty minutes of calling.
I’m very pleased with my new system install. The team was efficient and easy to work with. They were able to schedule my install within two days.
I wish I could give them two different reviews. I had great experiences with their guys, my poor experience was with the office and the brand they sell Lennox. They must know by now how terrible the quality of Lennox is, and yet they continue to sell them as high end. I paid a lot for a whole new system, took really good care of it and just over a year later I had to pay a lot to get it repaired because of a faulty weld on the coil. Never buy Lennox, therefore, never buy from K&S.Also, they must know the terrible situation they put customers in because I could never get a call back from their warranty dept, I always had to call back in every morning until I could get them on the phone. Its too bad they put their employees in positions where they want to ignore their customers.

This company was paid tens of thousands of dollars to install AC units in my townhouse complex. At least half have failed. Today I discovered only 3 air ducts in my house were actually blowing air and hot air at that. Called at 10am said would have someone out between 12 and 5. They no called no showed. I call them at 5:30 answering service says they are closed all weekend but would refer it to the on-call agents. Said someone with call me in 30 minutes. Result? Nada. Call again at 7:30. Leave another message. Answering service sends a text. Says someone will call. Result? Nada.I get your busy but blowing off a customer who has already Paid you thousands is simply inexcusable and unforgivable.Will never, ever, purchase a property where this place has been used as a sub contractor.
Called at 3:30 on July 3rd when our a/c wasnt working. Was told someone would arrive between 6 and 9 pm. Jason arrived right at 6 pm. He quickly discovered the problem, condenser was clogged, and resolved the issue. He was nice and professional. Highly recommend!
We have been very pleased with K&S Heating and Air, having utilized them for the last 5 years for annual AC and heating maintenance. They have always been very professional and timely, ensuring our units remain in peak performance.
K&S came out because gas was coming through my vents when the heat was on. Charles and other tech took their time and explored and trouble shot all possibilities until he found the issue. They repair a gas leak at the line on my units as well as teplaced the cap on the vents. i did appreciate his efforts to keep my family and i safe from the gas leak.
Our home first floor heating unit stopped working on a very cold day. Randy from Lex Air promptly diagnosed the problem and change out an air handler motor for us. He did a great job at a very reasonable price.
Absolutely worst customer service. Everyone I have spoken with has been super short on the phone and rude and one lady even hung up on me. Our air keeps going out in our brand new home and it takes a week to get someone to actually schedule an appointment. I have called and all they say is they’ll call a tech and that they will call me back and never call back.Update*** 9/14- I just called and left a message with the answering service. We still haven’t heard back from anyone regarding the blower for our AC.
The technician was super knowledgeable and friendly. He taught me things that our home builder was SUPPOSED to but didnt, saving me future hassle. Cannot recommend these guys enough!

Representative was very through and professional. This has been true of all the employees I have met. They do not find things to repair and they share their findings with me so we can discuss anything I need to be aware of in the future.

The customer service lady was very very rude and disrespectful. She hung up the phone on me when I tried to explain to her that my A/C is not working.This service uses Lennox coils for the A/C which are known to go bad every time. Its a 104 degrees hot in dallas and she didn’t help me get a technician to come fix the A/C. I have decided to switch to a different service and I won’t recommend K&S Heating and Air to anybody.
They just want to charge money for cleaning the drain instead of fixing the leak even though there is no blockage. Even after cleaning the drain for the AC, it is still leaking water into the secondary drain,. Now the technician cameback and said they need to install the splash guard for 700 $. This is the original system installed by them when the house was built and they installed the AC unit without splash guard. The original cleaning charge was a waste and they had no answer. Would not recommend them.

It has been almost a week since I have requested service and still haven’t heard back from anyone. Reached out to the number for the auto response and she was also no help. She said basically I should call back tomorrow because she couldn’t help me. Not offering to take info or even try to at least get the info to the correct person. I really hoped this company would address some AC issues we are having in this blazing heat and they had great reviews but terrible response time to address our immediate needs. I will have to contact another company due to their slow response and absolute no help.

Built a new home and received absolutely no tutorial on HVAC system and thermostats from builder. Technician came over and calibrated system, adjusted all vent registers, thoroughly explained Echobee 4 thermostats and system, changed filters, and was highly knowledgeable about thermal dynamics and proper operation and maintenance of my system. Outstanding!!
I have never used them personally but after seeing one of their emplyees at Brookshires screaming at a man, I will never call these people. He peeled out of the parking lot and from the stop sign down the road. He had the logo of his company on the truck. I would be very ashamed to have someone work on my ac with that kind of professional ethic or lack there of. Would never recommend.

Top Grade service. The service we received was done at a high level of expertise. The Technician explained every step and corrected some problems left by the builders. My technician Michael Jordan is a truely a professional and i am sure an asset for K&S. His knowledge and expertise is invaluable and i learned alot about how to properly maintain my A/C united in parallel to ecobee thermostat. Took an extra 15 minutes to tie wrap the outside wiring to help prevent it from being damaged by weed eater.Extremely skilled and willing to teach me simple ways to make sure AC was kept in great shape.
