Broke down on the side of the highway and there was no driver available to come to me in a timely manner so the owner did. Very friendly people. Had the most pleasant ride in a tow truck that Ive ever had. It was obvious to me that they really do care about their customers. They will have my business moving forward for sure.

My 3 children and I were traveling to grapevine txs from Oklahoma. While on the highway my sister notice that something dropped under my car as she followed behind me. Well I pulled off immediately to an auto shop who sent me to another auto shop that could not help me. I ended up at hunters. I swear they were a blessing from god. My car rental gas plate cover dropped and came off. This left my boys and I stranded waiting on budget to tow the car and get me to another rental place. By the time budget got everything done. Hunters was closed. But the gentleman waited until I could get an uber to come get my boys and I so we could stay warm. I will be forever grateful to the place. Thank you for all the kindness you showed.

I wont be returning here to this place. The young woman who came to my windows to write down what I wanted was rude. Then two men who looked at my high beam headlights said the bulbs were brand new and they would have to order them special. Then, when they put the bulb back in the socket, the bulb connector got shattered. They didnt say anything about it. However, what they did say was they couldnt find anything wrong with it, and I needed to make an appointment with their mechanic department and schedule an appointment to get my high beams fixed🤬!Warning: I feel like I was being scammed, and I have heard from multiple people that they ran into the same problem just to find out that it was a simple fix that could have saved you $185 in labor plus parts to fix the problem they had. Just beware, please 🙏

Wish I could give a better review. Kept my car for 3 days and then told me they couldnt figure out what was wrong. Charged me $75 for diagnosis. Didnt even check the air conditioner compressor. Clearly thats what was wrong. Wont go back

They took great care of my daughter and not being from the area it was a comfort.

I would give this place more than five stars if I could. Quick, professional, and friendly. I went to another place the day before and had the worst experience ever. I dealt with two young women here and both were fantastic. Would highly recommend this place.

All I did was get my vehicle inspection. They do offer full service and a car wash. The inside is very nostalgic and cozy. As far as inspections go, easy peasy and the staff was attentive and friendly.Update...changed too 5 stars as I have used them now for a couple of oil changes and replacement of my headlamps. Quick in and out for both. Car wash is also 👌.

While passing through Gainesville, we had our brakes go bad. It was Friday afternoon, and no one could help us. Hunter’s was the 5th place I called. They said they would try to help us out and they did. Got us in and out of their shop in a timely manner, and the cost was reasonable. Their waiting room was excellent too, and kept the small children and great grandparents occupied during our wait. I am so thankful for them, as we are on our way home now!

Well idk where to start I didn’t want to give them one star but had to so I can do this but Saturday I went to get my oil changed for the first time ever threw hunters thought be good place to take my car but guess what waiting 45 min then another 45 min after pulling my car into the bay the clerk behind desk told the other lady there the one they can’t get drain plug out there car I said do what was she talking about us ????? Sure enough it was my car this is 45 more minutes after they was under my car I was told they can’t get it out then they took my husband down stairs showed him the plug and let me tell you it was nothing barley left after they been working at it 45 min under my car then I was told sorry we can’t get it I’m not gonna charge u labor but yet I put your windshield wiper on and a new oil filter u gotta pay 75 dollars now and your car plug is stripped so bad we tried everything to get it off blaming the people who last changed the oil in the car but yet hunters employee worked on it for 45 min a little 10mm oil plug so picture this and then cost me same price to leave there in peace with no oil change but yet how can someone work on a 10mm plug 45 min under a car and say they weren’t the ones that stripped my plug and refuse to fix it what kind of business is this I will be going to BBB and letting them know this and I’m very upset now I can’t change my oil and y’all still got your 75 dollars and plus who put oil filter on a car with out draining the oil first I’m very upset and this isn’t over y’all did it and y’all can’t be honest and fix my car this is very very low beware people they won’t stand up for there mistakes I will post pic of the damage

This place is efficient and laid back at the same time. They got us in and out quickly and it didnt hurt my budget. Purchased a wash with my oil change and it never expires.

Went to them for a timing belt/water pump replacement a while back, no issues since. Fair priced and timely. I do my state inspection with them yearly as well, its always a quick in-and-out experience. I will continue to do business with Hunters Oil Depot!

Went to get a state inspection done on my horse trailer and found that a clearance light was missing. Felipe was kind enough to offer to install it for me so after a trip to the parts store, he guided me as I pulled the truck and trailer into the garage and had mounted and rewired in very little time! No price gouging, no trying to sell me something else, just great customer service! Everyone in there was polite and professional!

Was traveling that day coming back home from Oklahoma this Saturday I had to have a oil change and looked it up from WinStar and saw this place and decided to stop in. Great atmosphere and they added a car wash for $6.50 took about 30 lb off the car. I recommend this place highly.

These guys saved my car!I was driving through on my move to Houston from Kansas and stopped off at the Auto-Zone down the street. I went to check my fluids there, but the store clerk was completely unwilling to help (dont go to that Auto-Zone). I had troubles reading the dip stick gauge and, thinking that my car was completely out of oil (its an old jeep that leaks and had gone a great distance by that point) I added a quart, checked it again, still couldnt tell. Clerk refused to answer me, I got another quart in, checked and still couldnt tell. Absolutely flustered I decided to drive down to a gas station and check again.And then.. I saw them. A bunch of dudes hanging out of this classy-ass looking oil depot. Green-clad angels to me, and some were not too bad looking either! So I pulled over, they waved me in the garage and I rolled down my window, practically in tears from anxiety. They checked my dip stick and sure enough I was two quarts too full!They handled my cursing out of the clerk at Auto-Zone very well. The guys there joked around with me, relieved all of my anxiety and honestly made the rest of my 5 hour trip enjoyable.And they didnt even charge!Im just lucky I was early enough to catch them before a rush (9:00 am in case youre wondering). I cannot express how grateful I am for this place, and I hope that I can find one like it in Houston.

Always get great customer service and staff is friendly. Car wash has been upgraded and now cost $18 for top of the line wash compared to $13 before upgrade.

The last time I went to get my car washed, I noticed they had raised their prices again. But usually its worth it, but this last time it didnt even get my car clean. There were still cat prints and dirt on the hood and roof. Thats not worth the $13 charged for the works. I dont know if I will go back.

We had some issues but they made sure to make it right... Actually I am rather impressed by the people in charge.I will say it took a little while brcause they were busy today, though it was the peak time... but what do you expect when they are this good!

Was short and fairly painless! Only had to fix a couple of things that I shouldve had done so I caused a small delay. We had a young woman that did ours and she was friendly and professional and fast. We will be in in the morning with our RV! 😁

Would never trust them to change oil on one of my own vehicles. I have seen too much evidence of sloppy work and bad habits on friends vehicles. I also took my motorcycle there to be inspected... the lady that helped me did not know very well what she was doing, the words I dont even know what Im looking for came out of her mouth as she had to get another employees help to complete the inspection?? To ask for help is one thing, but to get frustrated and argue with the customer (who ended up being correct) is another. I will not be returning.

Oil tech was sloppy, my brand new 2020 grand cherokee limited. He left nasty oil stains under my hood with his nasty oily rag and his hand prints. Need to show a little more respect to customers vehicles. If you get it clean, give it back clean.

Absolutely unprofessional. Keys stay in the vehicle and they didn’t know where they were. My radio stopped working after they inspected my vehicle. They said a manager left then a manager appeared out of thin air. Pos place don’t go

2 times I go up there to get a simple inspections both times they were not smart enough to turn on the lights to have the license plate lights to come on it would be nice not to have Hilda the halfwit be that smart no here went around the corner they had brains enough to get them on

Oil change and state inspection in and out in less than 10 min

Would give negatives 5 stars went to get car inspected today done it at the same place last year and then was told that I could not pass inspection due to a lug nut missing on my car nowhere on the Texas motor vehicle site for inspection says anything on lug nut missing only on Tire tread so that wasted about 15 minutes of me in my wifes time when she had to get to work so I left went to another inspection center and got Pass this lady tells me at hunters oil depot that they were fined $600 doesnt even show me the proof I believe it was all a lie and they just didnt want to inspect my vehicle I previously gave them a 5 store but now I have edit due to the service that they gave me she was very unprofessional and I will never return to that place ever again to the owner if she is not I would the Reprimand her on hand on handling service I personally think she was trying to lowball me to pay for a repair thinking that I would just be that person say yeah just fix it and Ill pay for it wrong I read on here that displaces been in business since 1959 from a previous review from the owner you would think all those years of being in business your employees would know not to be on U nprofessional with others

Pulled up and waited for 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge me. Car pulled up after me in the other lane and got served first. Mistakes happen, so do bad reviews.
