Jason was a Godsend! Our heater went out on the coldest day of the year so far and he was at our house within a few hours doing a full and thorough inspection. I have signed up with them for over an year and they are just call away if i have any issues with my ac unit. Luis is amazing he helped me unclogged my ac drain lines. Air Conditioning went out in Frisco during the hottest time of the year. Luis came out and did diagnostics and found cause of the issue and options for repair. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions to help make the decision. Repair options to get the system running again were very reasonable, but we chose to replace our aging system with a new higher efficiency modern system. Install is scheduled for the next day, which is a great relief.Im very happy to have contacted Legend Air to address my issues.

Legendary Customer Service. Luis was my technician and he exceeded my expectations. The day before we called another service company from a flyer we received in the mail. That technician was nice and friendly but I never felt I had any options but to replace the whole unit. Fortunately, we found Legend Air Heating and Cooling and the coupon for a Free Second Opinion. As a consumer, you are always skeptical about any company you work with for the first time. Luis quickly established a connection with his calm demeanor. His explanations of the process were clear and he followed up each time, before moving on to the next step. After the service was complete he sat down with us, thoroughly explained the system, and provided pictures to support each of his findings. I was presented with several options and recommendations to help my system run more efficiently. Each option had the services listed and the costs were easy to understand. In the end, we made a decision based on knowledge and understanding, instead of rolling the dice or fear. The metroplex is full of heating and cooling companies but Legend Air is honest, priced fairly, and has the experience to service all of your HVAC needs.

Man! Let me tell you Legend Air is the best. I’ve had dealings with multiple HVAC companies and they’ve always made me feel uneasy or tried to force me to make a repair or pay for something. Legend came out and were very thorough in checking my system and their recommendations. They weren’t forceful at all. Specifically, my technician Luis. Luis came out the morning we called and was outstanding. He was genuinely so nice, polite, and thorough. He spent multiple hours getting to the bottom of various issues, and went over his list of solution options, complete with detailed images he took with an iPad so we could clearly understand his recommendations. Truthfully, Jason and his team (shout out to tech Luis! ) are out of this world. When it comes to AC issues, especially in the summer time in Texas, it really can make life absolutely miserable. The team at Legend Air are top notch!!! Everyone I have encountered have been extremely friendly and very helpful. In my last system check, there were some major issues with my HVAC system. I was outside of the builder warranty for that system (5 years). They were upfront, and honest about the cost involved without price gauging. They even helped me with financing since I didn’t have the full amount on hand. Very customer focused! I highly recommend them!!!

We are selling a house for our client that has already left town. The client had Legend Air install a new system about ten months ago. He was very happy with the work they did. He even remembered the name of the friendly tech, it was Louis.Well, the buyers had an inspection done, the inspector claimed the AC needed a 40 amp breaker where a 45 amp breaker was.Louis came out to check it out. He said the inspector was right. A 40 amp breaker needed to be put in. Now, bear in mind, we had this same situation about 2 years ago and another company ( Milestone) was called and charged the client $500 for a simple breaker.Louis said the standard charge would be $275. We argued that the correct size breaker should have been put in during installation. He agreed. So, he called his field supervisor and got a discounted price of $250 ( this was after I got mad ) Due to the principle of the matter, we still were not happy. He offered another $10 discount. NOPE, not good enough.We seemed to be a stand still. Louis had done a great job staying calm and talking to us. Then, he goes up and above, and calls the owner. The owner told him just to do it for free. Like any smart business owner would have done.The breaker was changed out to the proper size and everyone is happy. We will be recommending Legend AC and heating from now on to all of our clients.PS my wife has dealt with many different AC companies during the last 25 years of selling homes. She wishes there were more techs like Louis. He impressed both of us. We really liked and appreciated him.

I hired Legend Air to do a tune up and inspection of my HVAC system. Adrian was the technician that came. He was extremely pleasant and thorough. I especially appreciated his input on installing a whole house air filtering system. Again, very clear and informative.

He provided me with repair options — when it became clear that repairs weren’t a workable solution he gave me several choices for a new system. All the options fit my needs and most fit my budget. I had a new system installed the next day — great install crew (can’t remember their names) showed up on time and had the system up and running in the expected time frame. Update 03/04/24Luis arrived for a yearly system check-up.What a great tech. Went through my system, cleaned and made some recommendations. Very thorough with explaining the pros and cons of my existing unit and options. I know its getting time to replace my entire unit and Ill be using Legend Air when the time comes.As previously, I couldnt be more satisfied with the service provided.----‐------------------------------------------------------------------------Blower motor failed and is on backorder for 3 months. Legend air was able to install an universal motor. The tech stuck with it until it was fixed, about 6 hours. I cant say enough good things about Legend Air.

Our builder grade air and heating unit stopped functioning after only 8 years of use. We received multiple quotes and decided to go with Legend not only because their prices were competitive but also because of Jason. Jason quickly made me feel at ease with the process. He educated me on information about the unit and set up in general. We had a hiccup during the installation of the unit that was really just the luck of the draw. Jason made sure we were taken care of in terms of the integrity of the product. He did a great job of keeping us undated and truly made us feel as if we were his number one priority from start to finish. The Legend crew remedied the situation as fast as humanly possible considering the installation was bumped up against a holiday weekend. I truly believe Legend takes customer service seriously and treat their customers as if they are family. Our AC went out in the Texas heat. The original company told us one week to get out here. We called Legend Air based on a neighbors recommendation and got a next morning appointment.Adrian called ahead to let us know his arrival time. He quickly diagnosed the problem and gave us a report that put a home inspection to shame.He did not upsell, but did install a hard start kit at our request, which will help the compressor last longer and gives us the ability to use the AC off generator or solar backup.All in all a great experience.

He was professional and on time, great communication before arriving letting me know when he would be there and he did a very thorough job which took one hour. I’d say I got my money’s worth on that call. I love the maintenance plan, a small fee every month and they come twice a year plus you get 10% off any repairs. They are awesome. Jason was very thorough and very respectful. He presented all possible solutions to our concerns and worked with us to find a good plan to address our problems.

I will start with this. . We have used Legend 2 times before and will continue to use them. However, I was disappointed with what I was charged this time around. They did a full system analysis which they quote to be $99. That part of the appointment was terrific. No issues. My system does need to be replaced sooner rather than later but obviously money is tight. All I needed was a new capacitor which retails at about $18 to $30. Plug and play. Because I appreciate what Lengend had done previously, I didnt mind spending the 99 plus the capacitor replacement at this time. Last time they came out, thats what I paid. Im disappointed this time that I was charged $400 AND the $99 analysis. $400 dollars to change an $18 dollar part. I told the tech I know I need a new system soon but right now I need the bandaid fix. FOUR HUNDRED dollars. I should have just ordered the part and replaced it myself. I did appreciate the system analysis but good lord. Not a great start to my summer vacation. Oh well.

TLDR, Joseph came and fixed it! Highly recommend Legend and especially Joseph!Wed had a check on our A/C (with a different company) which resulted in the unit not working and an expensive quote to repair. Joseph came out, ran through the whole system as a normal check. He was able to get it back up and running without issues and without crazy expensive replacements. He was professional, went through all the things that could have led to the initial diagnoses sand was professional about the entirety of the assessment.

I called Saturday morning to report a problem and Technician Adrian came to my home on Saturday afternoon to evaluate the issue. It seemed like a big problem to me but I guess he’s seen it all and his calmness reassured me that his team can fix this. It required a two man job and extra parts so two others came on Monday. Technicians Israel and Alfonso were professional, polite, did a great job fixing my AC problem.Respected my wishes and wore shoe covers and face masks. Completed the repairs without damage to my home and my baby napped in the room next to the attic without waking.This is my third time Legend Air has serviced my AC unit for three different random reasons and I never have complaints. Thank you!

Last fall we purchased a new HVAC system from Legend. With the Temps starting to rise we found that our AC needed a little tweaking. Jason & Joey showed up this evening and I cant say how happy we are with their customer service. Luis spent plenty of time accessing the condition of the whole system not just the repair. He made sure I understood the details of needed to be done today and what might need to be done in the future. I started a service contract, something I dont normally do, because I feel like this is a company I can trust.

The tech, Luis, was at our house about 1 hour after we placed the call for help. Our a/c was leaking and water was coming up through our brand new floors. Luis was super sweet from the moment I opened the door until the moment he left. He went above and beyond to make sure there wasnt anything else wrong with our entire unit besides a clogged pipe. I will definitely use Legend again for any HVAC needs and routine maintenance all because Luis was excellent.

Friday the 16th of July at about 1pm I made a call to Legend Air about my AC not cooling the house (was up to 82 degrees at that time). Within an hour and a half, a tech was on site to diagnose and assist and within bout 3 hours, the unit was fixed and cool air was flowing. Sadly I still needed to replace my full unit as I had an original unit inside from when house was built in late 90s that was going out quick and an outside unit that used the old freon. They were able to get me a new unit and financed set up and installed that next morning. Jason and his team are literally top notch and epitome of customer service. He came over to check on the house late Sunday night to check on the system and Monday afternoon during peak hours to ensure the system was running at optimal levels. Could not be happier with the product or service from Legend Air!

I had a severely clogged drain line frommy attic AC unit. Jason came out quickly and fixed the issue within 20 minutes. I highly recommend Jason and Legend Air in general. They do great work at a very fair price.

Luis came out to see what could be done about reducing the noise out of one of our return air vents and as we suspected, assessed that the noise was due to the placement of the furnace and it being built directly over this particular vent. He explained the options we had, considering that there was actually nothing malfunctioning and let us decide what was best. I appreciated his honest feedback and taking the time to offer solutions if we did decide that the noise was just unbearable. While we didn’t move forward with the options given (replace furnace or add new return air in another location) because the costs of replacing something not broken didn’t seem valid, I’d recommend Legend Air for those looking for a free, quick, but thorough and honest maintenance call. The appointment staff also made it really easy to schedule an appointment. Much appreciated, Legend Air team.
